Ello! I'm not really sure how this works, but I've been a fan of @liekadae for a while, so I decided to this dtiys just for the heck of it with my Etho design!

I had to change some aspects (since he's not originally a kitsune in my vision) but it was really fun and it gets me thinking that I should do these more often. It could be better, I admit, but I'm kind of on a time crunch so I hope this is good enough.

Question: Why do we beautify hermit!Etho so much? If we look at his character, that's not him at all. Like the fandom dresses him in elaborate jewellry, clothes, hairstyles when the man is known for unfinished projects. If we take this to account, then that means hermit!Etho cares more about his looks than his teal roof, and I think that's hilarious. Realistically, my man will just wake up with the same clothes he slept in and (if he has peircings) still have the same earrings he put in 5 years ago. Skin care routine? Nonexistent. He just lets the humidity of the jungle do its thing. Hair? Unbrushed, washed once a week, only long and tied up cause he's too lazy and it gets in the way. Clothes? Whatever hand-me-downs/presents he's accumulated. Shoes? Holes everywhere.

Anyway, he's some pictures of Etho being pretty and a Joel to boot.

Y'know what I love about Bdubs? His character. Just the way Cc!Bdubs plays it is just so, so... enticing. Not to mention the editing skills behind his videos with the cinematic overlays and music; Bdubs has really tried hard this season to "make his own world", and we, as the viewers, are living in this world with him. But I can't help but imagine what his character, the Bdubs within hermitcraft, what his view of this world are. Is he aware of his world he created? Aware of the care and adoration many, many others in the real world feel for it? What about that court case he did? Does hermit!Bdubs even know just how entertaining and funny it was? If it wasn't for his content, what would hermit!Bdubs be? And this goes for show for all the hermits, they all act on a "character" for us, so we can be entertained. Besides Bdubs' building skills, what else is he?

Also, Bdubs designs after like, 2 weeks of drawing (I'm slow I know)

Day 10 Sonadowtober: Date

Mk, mk, mk, mk, I usually don't participate in these sorts of things, but I saw "Date" on the chart, and I just KNEW I needed to do it with apple-picking (a really romantic and autumn-y date imo).

Tumblr made the quality a bit bad, (don't look at Shadow too closely pls) but there it is!

To whoever might see this, I'm having trouble picking a design for Bdubs. I'm thinking that C could be a good secret life Scar outfit (with a few edits) and that B could be more casual, but I do like the scarecrow idea in A. I love all of them, but I need help. The palette is already chosen sooooo... help, please? I'm going to keep this up for like, a week or something since this drawing will probably be postponed till then

Edit: (Also I don't mind if you have any critiques or notes about the designs; I'm probably going to change the winner slightly anyways to make the design fit his base better).
