So.... found a surprise in the forest today. We first planted Kiwanos 5 years ago and haven’t planted since yet they are still reseeding themselves and thriving. Did I mention that food forests are self sustaining? No driving to the supermarket, no lines, and pretty much no effort once the forest is established. It truly makes me wonder why this is taking so long to catch on. These water apples are coming along nicely. Feels so good to watch these babies grow! 🤗 This tree was grown from a cutting 2 years ago and is now towering at about 20 feet tall if not taller. I honestly didn’t think it was going to make it.
