Told in the very distinctive voices of both Linda and Vika, they take in turns to detail their lives from their earliest memories, to how they become two of the most famous singing sisters in Australia. One of the things I most enjoyed learning about the sisters Tongan heritage, and the way it affected and changed the way that they viewed the world around them, and how it affected their music. I have to admit that this book wasn’t quite what I was expecting, and as such, I didn’t quite enjoy it as much as I expected to either. I felt that due to both sisters writing the novel, we often were told the same experience from differing perspectives, which made the 311 pages feel so much longer.
