BNHA 428: This chapter made me annoyed and yet it was still somewhat better than I expected?

Himichako. I like it, it's a good ship- not one I'm crazy about, but the vision is compelling. I mean, the loved girl on hard times who admires honesty but represses her feelings + hunger motifs, and the formerly wealthy and rejected girl who's honest to herself but masks her sadness from others + drinking motifs? Being so similar at their core from selfishness, bleeding love, admiration and imitation? Yeah, why not, sign me up, it looks fun.

(plus Ochako needed a subplot that would shy away from Izuku because oh boi her writing is messy-)

Then the ending annoucement happened and I immediately went "oh no" when I remembered that tidbit. But. Yesterday, I remembered this page from 424, which in hindsight makes sense:

Shoto moving forward and choosing to not dwell on his past anymore, because he wants to know the man he wants to become alongside his family of choice.

Spinner feeling so much grief for Tomura inside his room, his extra Quirks add up to it. Further gut points as it was all because of AFO, but the wrong person is getting the blame.

Ochako looking lost and dissatisfied, not really saying anything about Himiko's status; then her hidden injury which left a scar that'll never go away, nothing can change that.

And then, well, a sky with a chance to fight for a "bright future". Which is the most ambiguous you can get for anything, really, sequel or not.

(sidenote: is it me or the panel where she's touching her stab wound looks like a tangent line?)

Okay so, I went into the chapter, with Pikahlua's translations. It was A Chapter alright-

If it wasn't the antepenultimate chapter, the "filler" would've been welcomed. But I guess it means we should focus on the smaller details, I guess? Like that 1st year saying Izuku filled him with courage and Izuku immediately thinking of Spinner's pain? Yeah he hates himself and that people call him a hero, when he considers himself a murderer, and will never forgive himself for failing Tenko, therapy for him and everyone in Class 2-A please- yeah it was a fun detail. Also the throb of hiding your pain of "defeating" someone you wanted to save but in the end everything is miserable but everyone else is happy and you don't wanna be a bother. Fun.

Also I wasn't the one to point the out, but looking at the uniform (U.A. uniform blazer for boys + the tie with a dot for girls), the student who's a Izuku fan is probably trans/gnc, which I appreciate a lot :D (Damn Izuku attracts so many queer people I wonder if that's a sign- /hj)

Also, I guess Class A stating "[Bakugou], Midoriya and Todoroki were at the heart of it all" then focusing on Ochako is good foreshadowing on how her own battle wasn't fully recorded? It's like saying in the end her fight didn't matter, but the other ones went "well", so she's trying (and slowly failing) to keep her sadness at bay because, well, everyone's happy, so who cares? Another "throb".

I thought since the Todoroki family issues are out in the open, didn't they record the whole thing? Then I re-read it, they only saw the family stopping Touya from exploding. So they didn't see Shoto trying to talk to Touya, which means none of the LoV were humanized. Fuck's sake.

After that, I get focusing on the first years and civilians wanting to help and all, but it feels like a repeat of everything seconds before Jakku, so I assume it's a way for them to pretend things are normal? But not-quite-quoting Katsuki (<- which I will point out for my sake is very much alive and well and- oh boi LFtR will kill me) and Edgeshot here because it made me smile:

"Will you...go back to the way you were?" "I plan to attain something greater than what I was originally!"

So, yeah I suppose he'll be fine eventually. (Best J. really loving Edgeshot even as a worm, honestly, goals)

Again with Izuku remembering saying "[He'll] bring it all back" and apologizing for "not keeping his promise" and others telling him to not blame himself and they can reconstruct as many times as it takes. Again, gave me a little smile, but not for long-

Finally, Ochako pretending things are fine. Hello there, Sports Festival/Provisional License!Ochako I missed you- /hj (I miss the dorms era in general, actually.)

So... *sigh* Full disclosure: I wasn't looking forward to Himichako as we were getting 5/10 pages for the "conclusions" in the previous two, I thought Ochako would be off about Himiko being depressed about the League. But since she's MIA, red flags are now red herrings, and it's better than the dead outcome. If Ochako got another person dying in her arms that'd just break her character.

A blood transfusion takes hours, she couldn't been doing that for more than 20min, if it was gonna kill anyone it'd be Ochako. Either Himiko ran away or got arrested, and Ochako feels guilty because she doesn't know if she's dead or not. Not great, but until I see a corpse she ain't dead. Besides: Touya, Shoto, Edgeshot, Katsuki, Toshinori, Ochako herself, all physically hurt unlike her, and yet they live.

And then we have Izuku showing up. I'm upset he used OFA embers for this, but eh, it's Izuku, do I expect anything else?

Rolling with the assumption Himiko died (like our POV characters), Izuku would need to face his own failure in Ochako- Failed to save two people like she failed Himiko, but it'd be so. Empty. Ochako was true to herself, while Izuku gave nothing but "I want to save that crying kid" while fighting Tenko. The most they can do is bond with "failing" and "this isn't what we fought for". This is not really a moment where he can be a shoulder to cry on, it'd come across as hypocritical /neg.

The only way it could make sense it without being shallow on Mr. Control = Repress Your Heart's part (as he didn't open up to the two people who died in "his watch") is Ochako telling how Himiko loved yet seeing him repressing this part of his is idiotic? She likes people who are true to themselves, which Izuku hasn't been for ages, leading to him realizing something. I thought it'd be through a DvsK3 but. I'll take it, two chapters left, I just want his thoughts (and for them to talk but that can happen in the last one).

They only recorded Shoto stopping Touya from being a suicidal bomb, Ochako floating a bunch of Twice!Himiko clones and Izuku entering a coccon, popping out armless, getting them back, punching Tenko to death. The "I want to save [them]" wasn't registered, it makes sense they're (well, Izuku and Ochako mostly) weirded out about this, dissatisfied like most readers are (sidenote: why when it comes to the trio either Ochako or Shoto get sidelined? So much could tie their stories together and yet-)

It's still a tough pill. I'm not a villain stan, just wondering if those fights were for nothing- the humanity of Tenko and Himiko? Can't be proved for anyone else, since they weren't recorded.

And I don't know if anyone saw the same thing, but those "city lights" look like the bubbles from Ochako's awakening, maybe we'll get a Blackwhip or Entrance Exam callback? Maybe it's what the tagline meant by "hidden feelings", since she unlocked it to reach Himiko and doesn't think anyone would understand why. I hope it's just a nice visual though.

If Himiko is truly dead though... You know, I headcannoned the characters were telling the story through confessionals/recordings to register it to the world so they'd learn from that, but I guess the interviews Aizawa was talking about seemed more likely, which. Well it's something, but I thought it'd be everyone instead of just Class A. Idk. The idea the LoV didn't change anything, or that they did change things but don't get to see it, is bitter.

So uh. Yeah, those are my thoughts. I'm not sure how to feel about it, on one hand I want Izuku to finally open up but on the other, it feels like it'll be at Himiko and Ochako's expense by involving him in something that's theirs now. And there's a chance we'll get the "nothing is fine" from Ochako- god I'm fearing the discourse next week already :DDDD

... Man, and this is a bad timing to be in the fandom, considering the LFtR episode airs this Saturday (which will be yesterday by the time this post goes up and I'll be crying about that instead-), so uh. Yeah, this fandom will be emotionally devastated for two reasons XD

Okay, so I'll try ending this on a more optimistic note: I think Himiko is alive, and Ochako just doesn't know it, which is why we're getting 0 confirmation and a breakdown. Izuku's confrontation with her can make or break this plot, but as long as 1) we acknowledge the emotional, different stakes between the Himichako fight and Tenko vs. Izuku one and 2) it doesn't end in a confession (and let's be real, it won't), then we're probably good (sadly, if you disregard the LoV status). I still think it's an ass pull for the camera battery to go out though.

But no matter how this goes: C'mon, two chapters left now, this one was wasted on the first years, smh, let this sequel hopium be a reality I wanna know who's the 425 guy, not the poor first year who's gonna replace Shindo Yo in fanfics- /hj

NO ONE F*CKING TOUCH ME!!!

Alright, I know a lot of ppl weren't the biggest of the last Beast Yeast update, and to that I say it's understandable, they could've done a lot more with what they had in my opinion. . . But from just the first trailer alone, this looks really redeemable!!

For now, let's hope it's better than what we got last time!

You already know the jist, time for predictions!~✨ (Of course, spoilers ahead for the trailer!)

Given we now have Cacao heading off to Beast Yeast with his gang, I suspect that this'll be a common thing throughout the future Beast Yeast updates, with Hollyberry and Golden Cheese probably coming to Beast Yeast and meeting the owners of their respective soul jams

This'll probably end in them reuniting and creating some touching moments, before the final battle with Dark Enchantress (and or the Beasts)

But that doesn't mean we should leave everything in the last Beast Yeast update as after thoughts. From the 3rd Anniversary interview devs did, they confirm that Shadow Milk Cookie will be a looming threat within the Beast Yeast saga, though it is mostly unknown to us how. We do have a decent idea of what is to come

Back to the update, I think it'd be kinda cool, and very fitting, to have each of the characters represent the 5 stages of grief, with Mystic Flour representing death itself. I took a liking to this idea because firstly, death is a very present theme within the update so far, and secondly it's due to one scene; you know it, you love it, the Thanos snap scene! Within those short seconds of our favorites turning into dust(or well flour) we have Crunchy Chip yelling out to his majesty, practically begging for his life how "he doesn't want to be sick!" as everyone else accepts their fates

More on the subject, that'd be another interesting thing to see in this update, seeing Chip placed in such a vulnerable position like this could introduce a side to his character we've only briefly seen. As yes, this isn't the first time we see Chip get jumpy around the idea of death; if we turn back time, back to the Odessey, when the gang meets Seaweed Cookie, he's horrified by the fact they were walking over corpses (aka cookie crumbs) And this doesn't go unnoticed either, as he gets called out by Wildberry, which causes him to backtrack. I wouldn't even be surprised if his implicated fear of death may be part of the reason he's the Crunchy Chip we know & love today, maybe he uses his relationship with wolves as a means of protecting himself? Wolves are an apex predator after all! Will this add anything to the story? Possibly not, but would it flesh out Crunchy Chip as a character? Absolutely! (Sorry for the tangent, I thought this was all worth talking about cause it's such a cool idea!)

Now, we can't go anywhere without discussing the massive elephant in the room. . . Dark Choco Cookie's sudden return. Unlike most things, we do have a good idea of why he decided to follow his dad & come back. Firstly, it's a update focusing on Dark Cacao Cookie and his kingdom, it's a no brainer Choco would show up. Secondly from the Warm Together update, we know that he's been healing alone for a long time, so logically speaking, he wants to reconcile with his father, once & for all. And this is just my idea, but it'd really be cool to see Cacao & Choco work together in defeating Mystic Flour!

And that's all I got for now!✨ Surely, I'm only scratching the surface of what update has to bring, but I would say these are some solid ideas!~ Regardless, I'm super excited for this future update and the second trailer!!~

Oh it feels good to be brave! Went onto facebook marketplace and built up the nerve to message a seller about their copy of Pokemon Platinum. After scanning and double checking their images they had up beforehand, and then double checking and comparing AGAIN once I had it in hand, I can safely say with 100% certainty that I finally own a legit copy finally! My collection is no longer tainted with counterfeits~!!

Now I fought myself with the pricing (100$ CAN mind you) but it was also the best deal I'd get with the game AND the case (no manuel but no biggie) so Im content with what it was.

The game didnt have much on it, but they don't deserve to get reset, so Im gonna trade them over to my Diamond to give them a home (also the moment I put it in my 3DS, love my modded babeyyyyy)

For those wondering how to tell the difference I can show you in the read more below!

The fake will always be on the left for easy comparisons and to not confuse!

First off the front,

-The saturation alone is an indicator if you have a good eye, the left is very faded, almost a tinge lighter than it should be to the right, and the border for the "Nintendo DS" box isnt very defined.

-The font is not as bolded or clearly visible either, if you have a REALLY hard time reading "CONTENT RATED BY" thats above the "ESRB" text, or if "The Pokemon Company" text is hard to see against the red streak in the background. The fakes text is also oddly spaced apart compared to the real copy, like it got stretched a bit becasue the font is so thin.

-This will be the same with the other examples next, but the little insert arrow on the fake is too clear, its more pressed into the cartidge than it should ever be, the real one is perfectly flat all the way across with thr rest of the cartridges face, only difference is that its smooth to the touch as opposed to the texture of the cartidge. You run your nails across the arrow and you shouldn't feel anything stop you or feel a difference!

Next is the back

-Same as the arrow, it should not be as pressed in to give it a noticable difference in feeling. You rub your fingers across the text you will feel it ever so slightly on a real cartridge, it is more surface area than the arrow, but its nothing that should be of note. The fake will be too pressed in again and you WILL feel it.

-For American, the "NTR 005 PAT. PEND." is on both the fake and real here, most times its not on the fakes but they can be there, just be mindful!

-Some may have been faded overtime, but the black text on the back (for american games, double check your versions region) has a specific code to it. An indicator for being authentic is if the carts have the "CPUE" letters on them on the front and the back, as opposed to the VERY wrong fakes like mine having "CPUE" on the front, but the back has "ADAE" instead XD

Now another indicator may or may not be as viable, but it can be another way to see if its legit or not, it is however NOT a guarentee. Not all carts have these but sometimes at the very top of the cartridge you may see a slight indent (top is fake, bottom is real)

So far with my copies of Diamond, Pearl, Platinum and HeartGold, they all have this little indent. It may not always be there, but it may be slightly more reassurong that it is there if it is XD

⚡ : What typically leads to inspiration for you when it comes to writing?

Just about anything, honestly? But for the vast majority of it, it's music and whatever game or book I'm into at the moment, three times as much if it's the source material for the verse I'm writing. It's rare that I can pick up Genshin or the Remake games and not walk away with some kind of inspiration or plot related thought by the end of my play session, and the light novels I'm reading now have sparked up a ton of it in regards to things like Sera's health and worldbuilding. Music often makes me sit and daydream out plots, too, so it brings its own form of inspiration - Heck, the Halcyon Era storyline/Sera's full backstory was inspired by a gorgeous mecha figure promoted in an email from one of the shops I buy Gundam model kits from, though I wasn't expecting the colorscheme and words 'Snow Phoenix' that inspired me to create to turn into the massive story it has!

Tl;dr? Never let me read or play games, I make things happen after. XD

💔 : What kinds of characters do you have the most trouble writing for?

The asshole, in your face, stuck up, only here to be a jerk types. The ones whose personality is "I'm here to be a problem and have nothing else going for me". I love a good antagonist and I have a few more blunt, serious, will fight you for fun muses (Leandros, Kalistratos, and Kagota over on @thundertide being primary examples of this XD), but I really struggle when their entire personality is abrasive jerk and they don't ever act like anything but, or they're just the scheming type constantly trying to cause issues - Even just a straight antagonist who would cause problems and smirk and leave is difficult for me to grasp, regardless of if they have more to their character or not? Like I could never write Rufus Shinra even though he's a pretty well rounded character 'cause I just can't get my head around that character, and it'll never not impress me others can and write him and characters like him so well. <3

I'm also not very good with writing canon characters. I have a handful, both on @shinrarisen and Thundertide, but unless they're characters like Kunsel or Cissnei, who have more open to interpretation storylines and big gaps to fill in, I end up feeling suffocated and struggling to match what canon gives. Basically, I didn't create them, so trying to match what the creator made gets hard because I can't just step into their mind and know everything about the character, if that makes sense? It's why the canons I do have end up being at least somewhat divergent in their portrayals - Because I love them and click with them enough to write them, but I don't feel like I do a straight, fully canon compliant take any kind of justice. ...Or I just don't agree with part of their story, looking at you old Yu-Gi-Oh multimuse of mine-

Both, but I will say the later requires heavy trust in my partner, and isn't really exactly a 'we ship now' and go. I have maybe three incredibly close friends I trust to skip the developmental phases in a ship and the ship still work out, but we have years of friendship and rp'ing partnership behind us for that to happen; this is seen best in my Genshin multimuse, where new characters get added and already have a ship tag - But to be fair, too, it's not exactly an insta-ship, either. While Kasa ( @honorisen ) and I jump into them pretty quick, what people don't see is the behind the scenes discussion on it, deciding if the muses even get along, letting them meet in short, one off things off-dash, let the muses flirt, really talking out how things worked out... We're jumping right into it and avoiding writing out the buildup (which gets usually drabbled or even a flashback thread much later on - It's avoided at the start but ends up happening eventually anyway to flesh out the characters and their relationship(s)), but we're still in heavy talks beforehand to make sure what we're really eager to do for a ship will even work, first - And if we actually like it when it's more than just a thought, even though our muses generally always just... Click.

For the most part, thought, I LOVE developing a ship! I love the buildup, I love the working things out and getting on the same page, the seeing if the muses get along, the figuring out of "how do we navigate this" - It's a big part of why even with close friends I can just skip into the ship with, we eventually come back and develop an entire story with them and even rp or drabble out those developmental stages. Sera and Zack had years of buildup even though their blogs were launched with their ship already in place, both on dash and off, but over on Thundertide and @yoroiis, Childe and Kagota swandived into a ship, yet we've gone back and worked out not only the developmental stages, but have a couple of ideas from those stages waiting in the wings to rp out and are constantly learning more about their backstory together, both as a ship and as old, childhood best friends.

I can't just 'okay, we ship now' with most partners - I can't even do it with you, Knight, OR with Kasa, even though you're both two of the three previously mentioned friends. I can launch blogs with ships in place, I can skip the developmental stages and go right into a ship when the muses click as well as we have - But I can't just cast it aside completely. Even when a ship is decided, we're still discussing how they met, how the ship happened, how they got where they are. We still go back and rp that out, or write it up. The development may be skipped in one verse, but it's very much present in another, and mimics the first regardless. In my personal opinion, ships that don't have any development, even discussed, feel shallow to me? And I mean that as in my muses and my ships and my experiences - Everyone else's varies and it may not feel that way to someone else, and that's totally awesome! <3 I'm glad other people can pick up two characters, tell them to kiss, and it works! But me personally... I can't. I have to have something, somewhere, and I have the best partners in the world who do the same. <3

Locked Up Feelings

Here, this should make enough sense even if one has never played any of Graces F. A rather tense relationship(?) Between my insert and the captain of the knights, Malik, after some life or death fighting.

Two guards sat at a table, slowly making their way through a card game in the dim light. The dungeon was quiet, the prisoners sleeping restlessly or attempting to soothe their injuries. None seemed to even want to escape, resigning to their losses. One of the two guards put down his hand, showing his cards to the other. But the second guard looked up and past him, quickly rising to his feet.

“Oh, P-Princess!” He exclaimed, and the other quickly stood at the realization. The woman raised her hand slightly at their salute. “Pardon us, my lady, but what brings you all the way down here?”

“I need to speak with one of the traitors.” She stated gently. “Alone.”

One of the men in his cell lifted his head at her voice, listening silently.

“Of course! Which one, my lady? We'd be happy to assist.”

“Thank you, but it will not be necessary. Simply give me some time.”

The sound of armor shifting slowly faded, silence following after the heavy door closed. The man ran a hand through his dirty blond hair, watching through the bars of his cell.

She was always so quiet in her footsteps.

Soon, a thin figure stepped into his view, her garb crisp and clean. Her golden hair was pulled back neatly in a bun, secured with a hair stick, and in a pale hand she held a large thick key. Her gaze turned to him, and she smiled.

“There you are, Malik ” she murmured.

“Why did you come here?” He questioned, watching as she messed with the key.

“Just sit still, give me a moment to open this, and I'll explain.”

He scoffed, watching her put the key into the lock and turn. He didn't move from where he sat, and crossed his arms. The barred door opened with a creak, and the princess slipped into the cell, striding to and crouching down beside him. Her expression was soft as she gazed at him, and his own face softened as she reached up and rested her hand on his cheek.

Almost instantly, she pulled her hand away, lightly smacking his face and pouting. “That's for hurting Asbel and making us fight you.” She stated. “And this,” she struck him with a backhand, the impact loud enough to echo. “Is for helping in attempting to murder my brother.”

“Makes sense,” he muttered, touching his now tender cheek. “But it's not like you to come all this way just to punish someone.”

She sighed, and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. “Yes, well… are you alright? From the battle earlier, I mean.”

“Mostly bruises. I'll live.” He stated with a sigh, and tensed as her hand brushed against his chest.

“Let me see. I want to tend to your injuries.” She pulled at the buttons of his shirt, undoing them and running her hand along the bruised and gashed flesh underneath. A warm glow radiated from beneath her slender fingers, and the pains and aches he felt began to dull. He watched as her face and body drew closer to him, the glow now illuminating her face. Her cheeks were dusted red, whether from blush or her natural appearance he couldn't quite tell. Her glasses slid down her nose slightly, and her bangs fell in front of her face as she focused.

Malik let out a soft chuckle, a deep rumble she felt on her hand.

“You're being quite foolish, Evelyn, you know that. Helping a prisoner, an enemy.”

“Come now, you aren't really that.” She murmured.

Malik lifted his hand, reaching up and touching her shoulder. She didn't react.

In a swift movement, he pinned her to the cold ground, softly enough to not hurt her, but enough to make her gasp. He held himself up over her, his face inches from her own.

“No, but you can never be too careful. Whether you're a princess or a knight, you have to be wary.”

Her face flushed red now, as she gazed up at him. He grew silent, and after a few moments released her and sat up. He cleared his throat, and looked away as she sat up as well, her hair having come undone from its bun. Golden locks tumbled down her shoulders as she stared at him.

“You should go now,” he muttered, buttoning up his shirt. “Before Prince Richard hears you disobeyed his order that no enemy was to be given medical treatment yet.”

“Right…” she murmured, and stood as she fixed her hair. “I do hope he'll take that order back. And… I hope he chooses mercy when he deals with all of you...”

She glanced back at him as she left and locked his cell, leaving him once again to the silence.

It had been a restful few days at the Rising Stones as the returned Scions got readjusted back to their bodies. For once in their lives, it seemed that there wasn't much for the organization to actively be doing. Of course there were the problems with the Empire and the Primals but all seemed quiet on those fronts.

Urianger itched to return to the Waking Sands to work on his various projects that had been left behind as he had been called to the First once he felt awake enough to pursue them. He was mid-teleport when Krile ran in, claiming that using the aethernet would be too much stress on their newly rejoined souls and bodies. Sighing and deferring to her judgement on the matter, he gathered what little notes he had left in the library and his quarters in Mor Dhona.

It was late at night by time he finished notating the reversal of aetheric polarities and their effects on his understanding of magic into his grimoire, so he wasn't at all surprised to see Rowan already on the bed when he retired. It seemed that he had surprised her instead as she nigh jumped and hid an orange object she had in her hands under her pillow.

"Upon what object hast thou been keeping thy gaze, dearest?" he asked, brow raised.

"What are you talking about?" she asked back, feigning innocence. "I wasn't looking at anything."

Urianger hummed in suspiscion. "Thou art quite untrained in the art of deception, beloved."

"None could compare to you, master spy." She batted her eyes at him.

"Verily. So I know there's aught that thou hast been covetously hiding since we hath returned."

"...I've actually been hiding it since I returned from Amaurot with Y'shtola..." Rowan muttered, pulling it out from under the pillow.

"May I see it?" Urianger asked, settling next to her on the bed.

She nodded and placed the orange stone in his hand. Urianger traced the strange shape and the concentric circles that was etched in the center. It was warm to the touch and strangely... "It feeleth strongly of thee, my love."

Rowan tucked up her knees to her chest. "I was afraid of that."

"Wherefore? Is there aught thou art not telling me?"

She hid her face behind her knees and sighed. "There's a lot, actually."

"If it doth be a vexing subject -"

"It is. But I think I should talk about it. I don't know how to feel about it. I just feel like a fool or a mess or..."

"Mayhap thou shouldst start with the origins of the stone?" Urianger suggested gently.

"That's the vexing part."

"Oh?"

With a bit of prompting on Urianger's part, Rowan told him about searching for clues in Amaurot with Y'shtola, the stone's counterparts containing the memories of the other Convocation member's memories, and their subsequent disappearance with the demise of Elidibus. After a few false starts, she was able to explain that the stone in his hand was made by Emet-Selch in secret for the seat of  Azem. Azem, who held the Fourteenth seat of the Convocation as the Traveler, set apart even from the other members. Azem, who was by Hythlodaeus' account, Emet-Selch's dear friend.

He handed the stone back to her. "I do believe I see thy vexation clearly." "Exactly. It makes him right." She gripped the stone so tightly that he worried it would cut into her hand. She set it aside when she saw his look of concern.

"Thou wert always set apart from thy peers, by those of good intent as well as those of ill. That it reaches so far back to thy most ancient self doth not surprise me in the least, my love." Urianger started stroking her hair then.

Rowan just hummed and leaned into the motion. He was learning more and more that it wasn't his words that would find purchase on her heart, but his actions. So he held her the same way he had previously - close to his. Thou art still close to me.

"Do we have to tell the others?" she whispered after a few minutes had passed in silence.

Urianger sighed and started to rub her hands with his thumbs. They were so fine compared to his. "I full doubt that any of our comrades wilt judge thee with any vitriol for this. They art far more wont to judge me for keeping the secret - as they should. But such vitriol I shall gladly take for thine ease of mind."

"I-I mean, if they ask, then we'll tell them. But... I don't know if it's really necessary for everyone to know that... that I'm Azem. Or a part of them... or..." She tensed up at the thought.

"Then we shall keep the secret by omission until pressed." He pressed a kiss to her temple. He could feel her tension ease at that. "Mayhap twill teach them to gently ask aught of us if they feel suspicious."

"Thank you. I know it feels counter productive to ask you to be more truthful in one breath then ask you to keep a secret from the others in the next..."

"As my secrets tended to put thee in the most peril, mayhap tis only right that my last secret is for thy sake rather than against it. I must thank thee for trusting me with such, though I oft feel undeserving."

She turned to him, soft silver eyes almost glowing in the dark. "You're a good person, darling. Pray don't ever doubt that."

"I shall endeavor to do so, my love."

And with that promise and a few more kisses, the pair settled to sleep. A stray thought remarked that mayhap the fact that Rowan's ancient self held a seat of the Convocation should give him a little pause. But it truly didn't. The woman who lay sleeping in his arms was the same woman as she was before she told him aught of the stone. It did inspire awe, but she had always inspired awe. Mostly in the fact that she loved him. He nuzzled her neck with a few kisses then finally drifted off himself.

I love seeing the way you interact with Rikku and their muses. It’s always great to see that you have fun on the dash and you’re such a lovely and kind person. I’ve seen you around quite a lot over the years, I think through Rikku and I always was happy to see you enjoying yourself.
