Symbolism of Hermes
🪽🩴🪽🩴🪽🩴🪽🩴🪽🩴🪽🩴🪽🩴🪽🩴
The god of messangery, communication, travel, the patron of thieves and companion of Apollon, messenger of Zeus, Apollo is one of the youngest of the olympians, a tricky, cunning, but charming and friendly god who is friendly to man and god alike. Let’s go over some of his sacred symbolism:
🌈 colors:
• Blue and White: the colors of the sky, communication, and messengery, are blue and white, as a result, these colors are the ones most often associated with Hermes. The shade doesn’t matter too much, but light blue is generally preferred to darker blues.
🌸 plants and flowers:
• Crocus: now this one is kind of confusing because the god associated with it differs on the author, but it’s said that either Apollo or Hermes accidentally killed their companion crocus in a game of discus, and that when they mourned them, their tears sprouted crocuses from the ground around their body.
🦌 Animals:
• Tortoise/turtle: it is said that one of the very first shenanigans Hermes got up to after his birth and escape of his cradle, was to steal and fashion a lyre out of tortoiseshell! (RIP to the tortoise but ain’t that just the way). This was the first lyre, and the first of many inventions the god would be credited with!
• Hawk: (I’m trying VERY hard not to make an ironic hawk-tuah joke but I’m afraid he would abandon me if I did, rightfully so) hawks are one of the sacred animals associated with hermes, and it is said that when he would deliver messages from the gods, he would do so in the form of a hawk!
• Ram: another sacred animal to Hermes was the ram, as he was said to ride on the back of a ram to deliver messages to and from the gods on Olympus!
💎 crystals and gemstones:
• Blue Topaz: blue topaz is often seen as a stone that helps one to overcome social anxiety and to speak and converse agaisnt their anxieties, especially in public, or during important discourse. Making it a great stone to represent Hermes.
• Celestite: the stone of messengery, Hermes’s main forte, Celestite is also a stone of spiritual and practical communication, it is also widely available and more affordable than topaz for those who may want to devote or wear a crystal for Hermes!
• Blue lace agate: a beautiful blue member of the agate group, and a stone known for its wavy and transcendent veins, it is a stone of clerical communication, fortune, and good messages both spiritual and physical! One of my favorites to dedicate to Hermes.
🪐 Planets:
• The Romans were known to have identified Hermes with Mercury, a planet of fire and mahatma closest to the sun, which makes since as Apollo, the god of the sun, in Greek mythology was one of Hermes closest Allies. He was also associated with Charon, and helped reaped souls for the underworld, Mercury is a notoriously hellish planet. It also makes the most orbits around the sun than any other planet in a year, harking to Hermes association to travel.
🌟 Astrology:
• Gemini
Probably the most obvious correspondence here, Hermes is a very social, talkative, active god who thrives on his relationships to the gods and the people he acts as a vessel for, all qualities shared with Gemini.
🪽Other iconography:
• Lyre
The lyre was the very first invention of Hermes, and it was he who first introduced it to Apollo, having crafted it out of the guts of the livestock of apollos he’d slaughtered. Apollo was so stricken with joy and appreciation for his music and his invention, that he forgave Hermes for his trespasses, and would go on to teach him his own divine knowledge.
• Traveling hat
Hermes iconic traveling hat that he would wear as he heralded his messages to the gods and mortals alike is another common asset associated with his iconography.
• Sandals
His infamous winged sandals are perhaps the most unique and renowned symbols of Hermes, having granted him the ability to fly in order to deliver his heralds and messages to and from Olympus.

Idk if you’re familiar with Hailey Welch, aka “hawk tuah girl”, but essentially she got famous for giving a tip on oral sex in a street interview. mega viral, especially among conservative Americans- there’s multiple people in hawk tuah shirts in the video of trump getting shot.
The interesting thing about it is that she’s not the first woman to go viral for some sort of sex joke, but she’s the first one I’ve seen get treated like a man would. Her body hasn’t been the focus of the fame, the slut shaming has been comparatively minimal, and she’s been able to shift from viral video to an influencer of sorts. She’s famous for being good at/funny about sex, not for being an object of sexual desire. She’s being treated like a fratboy who brags about how long he can keep it up. It’s this weird sexual liberation/pride thing that, like, sixty year old trump voting moms are just as enthusiastic about as their husbands. People are mostly calling it cringe for the white trashy nature of the fans, and Hailey Welch has generally been the one to set the tone of how she’s discussed. Kind of cool to see, as bizarre as it all is, and the way she’s managed to ride this wave of fame is impressive.
Yeah I saw it first go viral, and the typical straight man response is them eagerly clapping for her and saying shit like “all men want is a girl who’s freaky and loyal !!”
It was creepy at first seeing her “fans” take pics with her, and they were all old men 😬… and when I saw women talk about how unfunny the meme is, men would accuse them of being “jealous”… like this type of male attention is something we want.
You’re right tho, she surprisingly is a well liked figure now in meme culture. People clown on her podcast, but there’s this absence of vitriol they usually give to raunchy female comics she’s like Trisha Paytas loll, she somehow escaped the mob attack … good for her!

Aight HC abt one of my fav jokers
The Ringmaster.
He barley sleeps
often fidgets with his tail when being stressed
He gets quick tempered especially when he hasn’t slept in a few days or hasn’t gotten his morning coffee lol
Bro cries everytime he looks at the electric, faygo and like anything relating to the carnival bills cuz I know that shit gotta be expensive with how the lights be runnin 24/7
He wears the most prettiest yellow robe, just slayin fr
He has a golden tooth (since he lost one from a fight)
His skin feels like wax and he has a hard time picking some stuff up cuz of his long ahh nails
He loves watching Garfield
He’s always running around the circus, pretty stressed and having to keep everyone on schedule.
He and milenko WERE together but their love died out due to lack of communication, this definitely doesn’t impact their future relationships. They’re still alright to eachother though, minus the fact the ringmaster doesn’t like being around milenko for long periods of time and milenko would sometimes flirt with bro dispute him being with RIDDLEBOX at the moment.
He uses like 6 blankets to sleep and four pillows to rest his head.
He had a pet loon he named “loon” not very creative with names rip.
Real talk tho if he gave you a hawk tuah your dingaling is gonna be a peeled carrot cuz of his sharp teeth 💀
His tail is bitten from a fight with someone who tried escaping the wax museum and he has mirror glasses.

RARE LONG LOST PINK FLOYD INTERVIEW!!!!!!!! 1975
Interviewer: Thank you all for joining us today. There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding your new song, inspired by someone—or something—called Hawk Tuah Girl. Could you tell us more about it and how she’s influenced the music?
David Gilmour:
Yeah, this one’s been a bit of a journey for us. Hawk Tuah Girl isn’t your typical muse. She’s kind of an idea, a feeling that’s been floating around in our heads for a while. It’s not just about a person, it’s about the way she makes us feel. She represents freedom, the flight from the mundane. There’s something ethereal about her, something that connects us all. We’ve always been about trying to capture the unspoken, the things that aren’t easy to understand. And Hawk Tuah Girl… she’s like that, in a way.
Nick Mason: (Leans forward, a bit excited) Yeah, I think she’s the kind of symbol you can’t ignore. It’s like the perfect blend of flight and chaos, and it taps into everything we’ve been dealing with in our own heads. And the way the music came together? It was almost as if it wrote itself. There’s this kind of tension in the air, something unresolved, but beautiful. It’s like trying to fly while being stuck in the middle of a storm.
Roger Waters: (Shrugs, looking a bit more reserved) I think it’s more about the contradiction. Hawk Tuah Girl, as this figure of freedom, is really just a way for us to wrestle with the chaos inside. We’re always trying to reconcile the fight between wanting to escape everything and accepting that we can’t. The song’s a reflection of that struggle. Pauses I’m not sure it’s something everyone will get, but there’s something there, something real. It’s not as neat as we’d like to think, but that’s the point.
Interviewer: It seems like a pretty powerful concept. But there’s also been a lot of talk about a new member in the band—someone called Chill Dog Guy. Who is he, and how does he fit into this new phase of Pink Floyd?
David Gilmour: (Chuckles) Ah, Chill Dog Guy… well, you can’t really talk about our new track without mentioning him. He’s this guy we’ve been working with in the studio lately, and he’s been a real influence on how we’re approaching things. Chill Dog Guy’s got this vibe, right? He’s laid back but knows exactly how to stir things up when it counts. He’s not like the rest of us—he’s got this irreverence to him, but there’s something about him that adds a whole new flavor to our sound. His approach to music is completely different than anything we’ve done before. It's like… he’s teaching us how to take it easy, without losing the intensity. And he doesn't really give a fuck.
Roger Waters: (Raising an eyebrow) Yeah, Chill Dog Guy’s got this thing where he just exists. It’s like he’s not even trying to play the game, but he does it in a way that makes you realize how much we’ve been caught up in trying to force things. He’s a reminder that sometimes, music doesn’t have to be this big, philosophical pursuit—it can just be. He’s a bit of a wildcard, though. Not sure if the world is ready for Chill Dog Guy yet.
Nick Mason: (Laughs) I think the world might need him more than they realize. He’s got this vibe where it’s not about the technicalities. It’s about feeling. That’s something we’ve been missing in a lot of ways. Chill Dog Guy is a breath of fresh air.
Interviewer: So, how does he fit into the new track with Hawk Tuah Girl? Does his influence show up in the music?
David Gilmour: Oh, absolutely. He’s been essential. His way of letting things unfold has helped us step away from our usual structured sound and embrace something more fluid. The track has a kind of lazy rhythm to it, almost like the way you’d imagine a hawk soaring through the air, drifting with the wind but still in control. Chill Dog Guy helped us find that space, and it made the song feel more organic, less forced.
Roger Waters: (Shrugs) I’ll admit, he’s pushed us in directions we wouldn’t have gone otherwise. But you know, in a band like ours, we need that. We can’t keep circling the same old things. You need someone to throw a wrench into the works. Sometimes, the new influences are just what we need to shake things up.
Interviewer: It’s clear there’s been a lot of change and growth with this new sound. But, Rick… you’ve been a bit quiet today. How are you feeling?
Rick Wright: (leaning slightly forward) I’m... I’m alright. You know, sometimes you get to a point where things start to feel different. This music we’re making now… it’s different. But in a good way. It’s like we’re tapping into something beyond just sound. I guess Hawk Tuah Girl and Chill Dog Guy… they’re part of this journey. It feels like it’s all come full circle, doesn’t it?
Nick Mason: Yeah, it does. But Rick… you’re not looking so good. Are you sure you’re okay?
Rick Wright: You know… sometimes… the music doesn’t need words. You just have to let it carry you… His voice trails off, and he begins to slouch slightly in his chair, the room suddenly growing tense.
David Gilmour: (Standing up, voice shaking) Rick? Rick, what’s going on? Are you alright?
Roger Waters: (Frantic, looking at Rick with growing concern) Rick! Talk to us! Don’t… his voice falters Please, Rick, don’t do this.
Nick Mason: Come on, mate, stay with us. Just breathe, you’ve got to stay with us.
Interviewer: I… I think… I think something’s happening here.
Rick Wright: The music… it never… stops… Rick’s head gently lowers, and the room falls into a somber silence.
David Gilmour: (Voice breaking) No… no, Rick… His words are barely audible as the realization sinks in.
Roger Waters: (Slowly, staring at Rick’s still form) He’s gone. Our brother’s gone. And there’s nothing we can do to bring him back.
Nick Mason: Rick… You were the heart of this band. You always will be.
Interviewer: I… I don’t know what to say. This is a tragic moment for Pink Floyd, and for music.
David Gilmour: (Tearfully, looking around at the band) We’ll carry on… in his memory. The music will go on. It has to.
Roger Waters: (Slowly, under his breath) Rick… I hope you’re flying free, wherever you are now. With Hawk Tuah Girl. Because you’ve always been the one to guide us through the storm.

Spectember: Hawk Tuah
Chameagles (Chameleo aquila) are a species of flying chameleons that have spread throughout both the Central American Isle and the resurgent Amazon Rainforesr following the Flux.
Born of introduced species that escaped from zoos, illegal pet operations and other such locales they found the altered terrain and environs of the America’s surprisingly open to them.
Their color changing skin has adapted for camouflage allowing them to stalk their prey… which has taken on a much larger size.
See the unfortunate decimation of the Harpy Eagle saw many animals take to the wing and various species take up the challenge to become the next top predator, though the Harpy holds on in some “Sky Scraper” stands that exist within the expanded confines of the Amazon.
The Chameagle’s camouflage gave them an edge, but it was their development of paralytic saliva that is the true edge they have over other rising predators and the fact that infant chameagles, are born mobile and independent.
Their tongue had a hard end cartilaginous spine that allows them to perforated skin and the pressure and speed of the tongue impacting injects the saliva into the blood stream.
They are snipers, not active hunters, pursuing and lining up “shots” from the shadows and wearing down their prey.
They have been observed occasionally hunting in small groups to take down and carve up larger prey, with some of their favorite targets being the paradoxically fast Bat-Sloths, that took to the largely open skies following the Harpy Eagles desolation and now have to contend with these new stealthy predators alongside a number of other aerial reptiles, several rising raptor species, and one particularly devious breed of parasitic amphibian.
Chameagle’s only show off the radiant colors their ancestors are known for when facing off against their own kind, attempting to bully each other into backing down.
There interactions with humanity’s descendants are surprisingly neutral and some tribes that exist in the exterior of the Amazon have taken to attempting to tame the creature’s though this has been a fairly mixed bag.
