Welcome to our ask blog!
Hey there and welcome everyone!
Tumblr media
I’m Mintaka Tyrone Pines (the guy on the right), but please, just call me Taka. You might be a little surprised by how I look—yeah, I’ve got heterochromia, which means I literally have one of each of my parents’ eye colors. But let’s not get too hung up on that. At least my hair is a natural blonde, I'm certain of it, and not half-half!
So, welcome to the blog my sisters and I set up! Nita’s the one with all the brains (definitely the smart one), and Nilam, well, she’s got seven fingers, which is kinda cool. As for me, I’m the "dork" with the journal chronicling all of our adventures. You might’ve heard of our parents—Dipper and Pacifica Pines? Yep, we’re their kids. Besides sharing some tips and tricks for surviving the weirdness of Gravity Falls, we might just spill a few juicy secrets about our parents. Hehe, just make sure they don’t find out about this blog, alright?
And I shall let my sisters introduce themselves:
Hi! I'm Nita! I am the eldest of the three. At least by a couple of minutes. (only 13 minutes, Nita!) People often call me a spitting image of my dad, minus his birthmark. Some even say I’m the “Girl Dipper” because, like him, I’m pretty nerdy and ace my tests, though not without hard work! But honestly, I’m not exactly as adventurous as my siblings. They love dragging me into their shenanigans while I’d much rather stay out of trouble. Sometimes I wish people could see me as more than just my dad's mirror. It’s not that I don’t love my dad—I just want to be recognized for who I am, you know? Anyway, if you’re into drama series, hit me up! What? I don't know anything about Unforgettable Lovers! Sure, the actress is gorgeous, but—what? Stop asking!
Heyo! I’m Nilam, but my dad likes to call me by my middle name because of my rather unique seven fingers on one hand. Most people just call me Nilam, though! I might look like my sister, but trust me, we’re pretty different. I’ve got my mom’s blue eyes, and apparently, I take after my Aunt’s impulsiveness and artistic side. I love embracing who I am, and if anyone thinks otherwise, well, I’ve got some karate and judo skills I’d be happy to show off. Besides that, I’m really into arts and crafts, and I play the piano! I’m not as nerdy or brainy as my dad or sister, but I’m cool with that—I don’t mind working hard to get where I need to be!
So if you want to know us better, feel free to drop an ask! Otherwise, feel free to check out our adventures here!

Kashmir’s Enchanting Summer: Enticing Visitors to Paradise
Kashmir isn’t just a lovely moniker; it’s a feeling. However, summer in Kashmir paints a different picture compared to other seasons. No longer do we see the snow-capped mountains, but instead, we’re greeted by beautiful grassy fields adorned with vibrant flowers. The fresh, cold breezes carry the scent of pine trees, and gentle waterfalls cascade down. To experience a summer like no other, visit Kashmir with our travel packages from Ahmedabad. As the best travel agency in Ahmedabad, we ensure your journey is as magical as the destination itself, offering the best Kashmir Tour Packages from Ahmedabad.
Where Paradise Unfolds: Must-Visit Destinations
Kashmir has a good deal of interesting places, and each of them has a special attraction. Check out some of the must-visit places for spending summer in all its glory.
Srinagar: The Jewel in the Crown
Start your adventure in the summer capital of Srinagar. Drive through the calm waters of Dal Lake on a shikara, which is a typical boat in Kashmir. Admire the Mughal design of Shalimar Bagh which is an elaborately terraced garden paradise. Please make sure to enjoy Kashmiri wazwan, which is a multicourse cuisine.
Gulmarg: Meadow of Flowers
Head up to Gulmarg, a hill station covered in a vibrant tapestry of wild flowers during summer time. You can choose to take a scenic gondola ride, ride horses through the meadows or play golf at the highest green course in Asia. Breathe in the clean mountain air and embrace the stunning view of snow covered peaks.
Pahalgam: Valley of Shepherds
Located among moving hills and gushing rivers, Pahalgam is a paradise for those who cannot live without nature. Trekking along the Betaab Valley, which is very well-known for its beautiful landscapes, or going on a hike to the Kolahoi Glacier that tourists cannot help admiring will be the best options for you. You can try white-water rafting on the Lidder River if you are an adventurous person, but if you are not, it is enough just to sit near the Aru Valley waterfalls which are continuously falling.
Sonmarg: Meadow of Gold
Sonmarg is named after the meadows that are golden from the sunlight which shines on them during summertime, making it a haven for lovers of nature. Go for pony riding through the awe-inspiring sceneries or take a ride to Thajiwas Glacier and appreciate its beauty that is a wonder of nature. Have a sip of hot steaming kahwa at the backdrop of the incredibly beautiful landscape.
Yusmarg: Meadow of Jesus
Yusmarg is often referred to as the Switzerland of Kashmir which is peaceful. There is a breathtaking view formed by lush green meadows blanketed with wild flowers. Engage in term search in Nilgai Game Park, take a nature walk or simply enjoy the peace around Nilam Lake.

Character sheets for the Orion Triplets!
Nita Pines
Tumblr media
Nilam Pines
Tumblr media
Taka Pines
Tumblr media
These are the character sheets of my dipcifica next-gen kids: Nita, Nilam and Taka. Silly and adorkable, aren't they?
Initially, I commissioned @pancreasman for this work, given her past work for character sheets and her rates were quite affordable. But this commission turned out to be rather complex and took quite a toll on her. As such, @cosmicriff continued from what pancreasman left off, especially for Taka's sheet, colouring the other perspectives and expressions. Both did an amazing job for their parts in this commission! Love their cute and goofy expressions!
Link to my series:
Once again, thank you two for your efforts!

Curiously I have a Dipper and Pacifica child who has seven fingers for her writing hand. She has an energetic personality like Mabel (and takes after her Aunt's love for the arts). And is an accomplished pianist. She takes her anomaly in stride, and inspires her creativity and drive to be unique.
Here's Nilam!
Tumblr media
She's not just any cinnamon roll tho... She can be deadly if you arent careful
Tumblr media
Gravity Falls AU where Mabel was born with six fingered hands like Ford.
•Instead of her extra fingers inspiring her to pursue the supernatural like Ford, it inspires her creativity and drive to be unique. So, she is still the exact same as Canon Mabel personality wise.
•Due to bullying, the reason she wears sweaters all the time is so she can hide her hands in the sleeves like Numbuh 3 from Kids Next Door.
•When she finally meets Ford instead of a handshake she pulls his hand against hers and has the biggest smile on her face.
•In Mabel-Land, she gives herself five fingered hands which creeps Dipper, Soos, and Wendy out.
•When Bill catches the Mystery Twins in the finale, instead of just trying to kill Mabel, he threatens to tear off her extra fingers and make her """normal""".
•When Dipper creates his own journal so he can document any future paranormalities when they go back next summer, Mabel volunteers to use her own hand for the cover. (Using the most glittery paper she can find for it, of course.)

Love the illustration! Fantastic work!
Let me reblog and promote my story again.
Summary: In this special episode, Dipper's and Pacifica's children went back in time and caught a glimpse of the past and what their mother was like, before everything changed.
“This is so bizarre. Did we really travel through time? Where are we, anyway?” “When are we, you mean?” “Now it’s not the time to borrow lines from the time travel movie. Every step we take here can affect the time stream.” “Whatever.” The two girls looked around. They seemed to be in a large, grand hallway. Suits of armour lined the hallway, gleaming under the sunlight that streamed through the grand, arched windows. Everything in the hallway, decorated with various paintings and tapestries, was prim, polished and perfect. Somewhere else close by, a record was playing a gentle tune accompanying the low hum of the air-conditioner system. “This carpet must be very, very expensive.” Nilam patted on the carpet with her feet. “Look at the pattern and the material!” “This place is very familiar.” Nita observed a portrait. “And this guy too… Hold on…” “What is it?” Nilam joined her sister. Nita never answered as she froze at the sound of footsteps coming from across the hall. “Quick, someone is coming around there!” “Over here then- Oof!” Nilam, unaware of where she was going, bumped into someone and fell over. “Dipper! Mabel! What the hell are you two doofus doing here?” The two sisters froze. That voice was very familiar. Nilam looked up and her heart leapt. There stood their mother, only about 30 years younger. “How did you two get in here in the first place?” she asked, arms akimbo. With a haughty expression on her face, she glared down at them, as though they were bits of dirt on the carpet. The two realised that this was a different Pacifica Northwest of a different time. Before she changed to the woman they both know. “Erm… We…” “Sorry.” Nita looked up to her mother. “We were looking for something and we got lost…” Pacifica rolled her eyes at Nita. “Ergh, Dipper. You and your mystery hunting again…” “Wait, did she call you Dipper? Oh…” Realisation dawned on Nilam as she turned to her sister.

Tumblr media
Maxiluna's Instagram.
This art is for the third chapter of my next-gen Episode V: Who Let the Knives Out? , a new mystery I've been working on recently. Here, the Pines prepares and hosts a major event at Pacifica’s former family home, but as could be expected, disaster strikes. If you can live anywhere you want to live when you grew up, what kind of place you want to settle into?
Tumblr media
Nita, Nilam and Taka: Silly Water Fun Slides in Grand Lakes, Michigan!
All laugh
Nita: But ok, seriously, we need to properly answer the question...
Taka: Yeah, yeah. You're right. Nilam, you seem to have an answer ready, so you can begin.
Nilam: Heyo and thanks for the ask! Sorry for not responding for long; we've been pretty busy with school and stuff so we didn't get to check our blog as often. Hmm, thats a very good question. We've know Gravity Falls for all our lives, except we sometimes travel down to Piedmont to visit grandpa and grandma at Dad's old home for Thanksgiving, Hanukkah or Rosh Hashanah. And sometimes we would go on holidays, like I can still distinctively remember we went to Jeju about five years ago.
Taka: Yeah, kind of wish we get to see more of the world around. Before Mom and Dad got married, they always tell us about their many adventures around the world. Often with our great-grunkles and sometimes our Aunt Mabel.
Nita: But honestly I cant think of growing up anywhere else. As Nilam said earlier, we've known Gravity Falls all our lives. Perhaps things would be different if we're like from the big city, where things are largely normal and so on.
Taka: Perhaps less opportunities for some adventure.
Nilam: Yeah, Dad said Piedmont was actually very boring, especially after their first summer here.
Nita: I don't think living in Piedmont would be that bad really.
Taka: Maybe not, but we would sure miss out a lot of cool stuff here. Stuff Dad likes to talk about.
Nilam: Yeah, that I agree pretty much. I won't chose anywhere else really.
Taka: Same here. And you, Nita?
Nita: Maybe not. But just to wrap up, anywhere else won't be too bad. Just, Gravity Falls is a place unlike any other and, while I might not be a great fan of the supernatural, this is still our home, after all.
Taka: Anything else to add on, Nilam?
Nilam: Nope, nothing else. Once again, thanks for the ask!

Have you guys met the grunkles?
Taka: You mean our Great-Grunkles? Well, we were pretty young when they passed, so we don’t have many strong memories. But our parents and Aunt Mabel talked about them a lot, and we often visit their graves every year. There's also this one photo of us with Great-Grunkle Ford…
Tumblr media
Nita: I think that was when he was telling us some crazy story about him and Grunkle Stan. Like some fairy tale with them as the heroes.
Taka: Yeah, sounds right. We were probably six or seven? That was also around the time when Great-Grunkle Stan died in an accident.
Nilam: I still remember Great-Grunkle Ford comforting me about my seven fingers. He always stood up for me, especially against bullies.
Nita: Isn’t that how you and Audrey became friends? Didn’t she bully you at first, but then Ford had a talk with her?
Nilam: Yeah, she apologized, and we just… clicked. Turns out, we had a lot in common, and we’ve been best friends ever since.
Nita: Ford had a way of handling things like that.
Taka: Didn't Dad say both him and Great-Grunkle Stan were bullied when they were very young?
Nilam: Yeah, I think so. Dad mentioned something about how they both had it rough growing up.
Nita: I think Dad mentioned that’s one reason Ford connected with us so much. He knew what it felt like to be different, and he wanted us to embrace that instead of hiding from it.
Taka: They both had their struggles growing up, but in the end, they became legends. Kinda cool to think about, actually. I just wish we had more time with them both.
Nita: Yeah, that's true.

So between the three of you, whose the best fighter? And who would win in a fight?
Nita: Uh...
Taka: Yeah, this isn’t even a question. Nilam wins, hands down. No way would we challenge her, even if you paid us a million dollars.
Nita: Yeah. And I mean, she’s trained in a bunch of martial arts—taekwondo, judo—and she’s a three-time karate champion at our school. Right now, she’s actually at her boxing lesson with Aunt Wendy.
Tumblr media
Taka: We can't match up to her, really. It's not a fair contest. So, why? You thinking of taking her on?
Nita: I gotta warn you: She might be small like us, but she's fierce. Don't underestimate her, really.
Taka: Yep. Even the bullies know better than to mess with us when she’s around.
Nita: It got her into plenty of trouble, though.
Taka: You don't say. Anyway, if you do need fighting tips, Nilam will be happy to ask!
Nita: Thanks for asking!

Have any or all of you thought at all about university? To go or not go, to study This vs That…
Taka: Well, erm... Well, we're still 13 and we haven't thought that much of our futures, although Dad and Mom occasionally bring up some possibilities. I kind of want to be a paranormal investigator like Dad, but there isn't like any school dedicated to studying the weirdness and all that. So, well, for now, I just hope to graduate high school with a decent GPA and get accepted into a good technical college maybe in Portland or California, then I'll see what I can study. Or if not going to college is an option...
Nita: That's out of the question, Taka. You aren't Steve Jobs.
Taka: But what's the point of studying something you aren't interested in? And no, I don't even want to be rich like Steve Jobs. I just want to travel the world-
Nita: It's not about striking rich, Taka. Even being a paranormal hunter needs money for travel and equipment, and Dad has a writing major to earn some income from writing.
Nilam: Plus some funding from Mom.
Taka: Ugh, I know that. Well, I still need time to figure some things out. What about you, Nita? Something nerdy?
Nita: rolls eyes. Well, just hoping to get a science degree. Maybe at West Coast Tech or Berkeley. Then, erm...
Taka: chuckles Being a professor suits you, Nita. Behind a desk, reading papers...
Nita: rolls eyes again I might not be as inclined to weirdness hunting. But it's not that at this point I can escape it entirely. So it's better to try understand it, and maybe the study of weirdness would be widely accepted.
Taka: That's quite an idea
Nita: I mean that's what Dad is already doing, just not in a university or anything. Maybe you should consider that, Taka.
Taka: Hmm... and be in a lab coat all day? Boring! What about you, Nilam?
Nilam: Weirdness and adventuring are fun and all. But I want to be a musician.
Taka: Like... BABBA?
Nilam: You know I don't enjoy pop very much. I prefer classical music, like Bach and Beethoven, and composing music.
Taka: That sounds cool. Not gonna lie, I thought you wanted to be a boxer. Or a martial arts trainer.
Nilam: I did. But I think there's something more rewarding in music. I can't really explain it, but I find more joy in music than punching people. Learning to box and fight is a skill, but it's not something I want to do forever.
Nita: Yeah, I get that, Nilam. I see that you want to make something of your own through music.
Nilam: Yeah, that’s it. There’s more to life than just surviving the weirdness. I want to create something. Something beautiful. I have seven fingers, and they can form a fist, or produce good music. And I prefer the latter.
Taka: Well, whatever you decide to create, I'm sure it'll be amazing. Just as long as I can still be your backup violinist in case you need one.
Nilam: You don't mind playing second fiddle?
Taka: As long as we stick together. Right, Nita?
Nita: Realistically, our ambitions would change over time. Like I might want to be a chef instead-
Taka: Oh gosh no. Your cooking skills are terrible
Nita: You mean terribly good. You liked that salmon I air-fried for dinner today.
Taka: That's because Dad already made it and all you need is to put it in the air-fryer. No big deal.
Nita: What about the time when-
Nilam: Yeah, I mean even Dad said nothing in the future is set in stone. And we still have much to learn. So yeah.
Taka: Thanks for the ask!

We know Nita’s the eldest but what’s the rest of the birth order? And is there a rivalry similar to when Mabel would tease Dipper for being five minutes younger than his sister?
Taka: Oh boy here we go...
Nita: Yep, I’m the oldest! Older than Taka by a whole thirteen minutes.
Taka: And even with that she always acts like it’s years of wisdom and experience.
Nilam: Yeah. She always says, “As the oldest, I have to make the big decisions.”
Nita: Well, someone has to! Besides, it’s not like you guys listen to me anyway.
Taka (rolling eyes): Pfft... Whatever. We're all thirteen anyway. So why do those minutes matter anyway?
Nita: That's because... When I was your age-
Taka: Stop that! Please! Not that joke again...
Nilam: Ok, you guys should chill. We need to get back on topic.
Taka: Yeah, right. Right. So, erm... Yeah, as much as I hate to admit it, on a technicality, Nita is the oldest. Followed by Nilam-
Nita: 6 minutes 18 seconds younger than me, to be exact.
Taka (rolls eyes again): And yeah, there's me. But overall, we're all still the same age. As for our Dad and Aunt Mabel, yeah, we've heard tales about their rivalry based on their age. And their heights. And everything else.
Nilam: I suppose it's inevitable we would compare against each other, really. I mean, I know of friends with siblings and they're always competing over who’s stronger, faster, smarter... you name it.
Taka: And, I have to admit, Nita here is the most intelligent and responsible among the three, while Nilam is the strongest and most creative. As for me...
Nita: You're still the most adventurous and bravest among us, Taka.
Taka: Thanks, Nita. (grins) At the end of the day, we have our own strengths and all. Like, Dad often told us how many times Aunt Mabel had offered him a new perspective when solving mysteries. Like how to be less serious and yeah, just take a step back.
Nita: All in all, we're a team. And whatever comes, we'll stick together and face it head-on, like our Dad and Aunt did.
Nilam: Yeah. Like different pieces of the same puzzle.
(the triplets share a chuckle)
