i have a weird affinity for New York and idk where it comes from because i feel like i would hate actually living there but god damn it i looooove anything set in NYC.

mrs maisel, law & order, rent, pose, etc etc. i just finished reading "what the dead know" by barbara butcher and i almost had a grasp on my weird attraction to that city while reading but not quite. maybe the sense of community? but i know that exists here too, the whole "big city but feels like a small town" attitude. or maybe i just wish there were bodegas in denver lol.
