My boyfriend is a person who likes exact instructions. He also has a remarkably large head. Like, in the kind of range where regular clothing manufactures do not make hats that size because it's not financially profitable. He is 2 cm taller than me and his head circumference is 3 cm smaller than my waist. Can walk into any shop that sells hats, ask them "what's the biggest size you carry?" and walk out after hearing it's too small. And if he ever ends up in a workplace where the uniform requires a hat, but they do not have any headgear available that would fit him, it's in their best interest to at least have some kind of specific instructions of what kind of hat he should have before telling him to just bring his own hat from home.

Because "it doesn't matter, as long as your head's covered" does not rule out his awesome big-ass felted giant wizard hat.

Saddle up, folks! We’ve got greener pastures on the horizon, because it’s time for Yeehawgust’s 6th year this August!

Yeehawgust features daily art prompts as well as alternative weekly prompts, for those of us who are a bit slower on the draw. Don’t draw at all? No problem! Submit any art at all, be it illustration, comics, writing, fanfiction, photography, embroidery, sculpture, music, or whatever other creative endeavors you might enjoy. All skill levels are welcome, and this can be a great opportunity to experiment with new styles and techniques. 

Maybe you love media like Red Dead Redemption and Fallout: New Vegas, or classic westerns like The Magnificent Seven. You might enjoy the genre, and you’re looking for a chance to make a cowboy AU and put your OCs in chaps and your blorbos in a Stetson. Heck, maybe you just really want to draw horses. Whatever your reason, you’re welcome to join in, pardner!

recently i reread a bunch of my favorite sherlock holmes stories (norw my beloved) and felt compelled to create my own diagram for 221B

thinking about art donaldson being absolutely head over heels for his pretty girlfriend...

you’re always the first person art seeks, from the moment he wakes up until he pulls you towards him under the covers at night. he lays soft kisses on your collarbones and nestles himself in the crook of your neck, whispering sweet nothings into your ear.

it goes without saying but you’re also in attendance at every game you can wearing designer sunglasses (gifted by art himself !) as the light reflects on the silver band on your ring finger, jumping up and cheering when he wins the final set. his eyes always find yours immediately.

every single thing you do makes his heart flutter but what he loves most is the little ritual you started after every win. even though he’s all sweaty and he can only hear the crowd cheers and his own blood pumping, he always makes his way towards you, where you’re waiting for him with a bright smile, clapping. he’s the first to reach out, hands on your waist while you cup his face, resting your forehead against his before kissing him. the crowd is roaring and photographers are rushing to catch the two of you but he couldn’t care less.

“i’m so so proud of you babe.” you beam as he simply grins before kissing you again.
