reading on the balcony in 35°C ended with me falling asleep and waking up to a tiny spider on my leg and a garden warbler in the nearby pine so all in all I'd call that a success
#never seen a warbler irl before#so it took a bit of computing#but i guessed correctly!#that childhood obsessing over local birds is really paying off#i have no idea which dusty shelf my brain is taking that knowledge off from#and it's definitely rusty so i'm not always correct#but for some reason it's really deeply ingrained
