anyways hello ive been drawing and getting too excited over monkie kid and theorizing a bunch of stuff aaaaaaa

heres another monkie kid fanart piece twice in a row! plus lighting (not the best job though oof.) i've also gotten used to drawing rendering wrinkles(ish) so thats cool. also this is the first time i've drawn nezha actually. i also got the line from a roughly translated season 5 trailer so it'll probably be outdated over time :V

during the process actually help i got so ticked off by the inaccuracy of the armor colors and the background was poorly done whoops

offtopic: i've been conjuring up some animations for my youtube channel (mainly because youtube needs some "channel history" or something) so more monkie kid animations??

In response to someone saying they think that he should focus more on currently-running shows, instead of shows that were already cancelled, popular YouTuber Saberspark namedropped LEGO Monkie Kid as a future video topic.

while im not directly replying to the image quoted here (i don't have twitter "x") im going to put an "explanation" i guess

the scars being Xs is probably a stylistic choice? or symbolizing that the character has been through lots more than one scar (i'll make a separate post on redson's actually i have headcannon on his now-)

now with the flashy Xs, that's just to recreate the effect of shining of an object, to simplify it, they draw Xs with circles around them.
