So I'm guessing The Godfather is a big inspiration for Excellent Cadavers, are there any other media inspirations (books, movies, TV shows, etc.)?
Yes it is a huge inspiration I was rewatching the first and second movies when I thought it up.
Shows: the Sopranos, Pablo Escobar: el patrón del mal, La Viuda Negra, La Reina Del Sur (the actual Spanish version not the American one they made), Breaking Bad, NCIS, Miami Vice
Movies: Rocco and his brothers, Goodfellas, Scarface, City of God, pulp fiction
Books: five families: the rise, decline, and resurgence of americas most powerful mafia empires, borgata: rise of empire, cosa nostra (these are all for research); Shakespeare’s Richard III, Count of Monte Cristo, the cruel prince, Ozymandias (the poem)

2, 3 and 8 🤞
Hello! Alright, let's answer some questions.
2.) Share a snippet of an old WIP that you never posted. Oh boy
Luke huffed as he wiped the blood of his brow. His choked back a sob as the once blue escape route had fizzled to a red and faded. There would be no escape this time. And Luke didn't care. All he knew was his friends got out alive and he needed to finish this once and for all.
"where are you, you little traitorous bastard?" Kronos called out, stalking around the corner into the hallway. Luke clamped a hand over his mouth to keep quiet. Thirty more seconds. "You can't hide forever. Face it. You've lost. The Olympians are falling, you are alone, and no one, NO ONE CAME FOR YOU!" He laughed and Luke clenched his teeth. "That's all you were, a tool. A tool for their last ditch effort. And...you've LOST!"
Luke was pulled from his hiding spot. "So what?" Luke scoffed, holding the detonator in his hand. "I let go of this button and we all go up in flames. I knew what I was getting into when I started. I was only foolish enough to hope no one would needlessly die."
"FOOL!" Luke stared Kronos in the eyes and he thought about all those who died. Zoë, Bianca, Charles Beckendorf, Lee, Michael, Castor, Silena, Ethan. And so, so many more.
A single tear ran down his face and Luke let go of the button. A loud boom and silence was all he remembered before Luke gave into the dark, cold embrace of death, dragging Kronos with him.
3.) One of your fics you wish more people read?
Either Ride or Die or probably Fall From Grace
8.) How do I feel about my most popular fic?
Really freaking proud. It's Confirm Kill: A Top Gun/NCIS Story. It all came from me watching NCIS LA and thinking how cool it would be to write a story where the pilots from TG:M were targeted by a serial killer and NCIS investigates. I'm so surprised it's gotten so popular and fun fact: the episode of NCIS LA I watched, Callen said this line that called me out so hard bc I was watching said episode for research for this story: "I bet you write fanfiction in your free time" CALLEN CALLING ME OUT smh
Well that's all! If you have any questions about the snippet, just ask!
Thank you, and I hope you enjoyed these answers.

Hematological Cancers Therapeutics Market Revenue Trends, Company Profiles, Revenue Share Analysis, 2022–2032
The global Hematological Cancers Therapeutics Market is expected to experience significant growth in the coming years. The market size was USD 66.77 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach USD 122.75 billion by 2032, with a rapid compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7% during the forecast period. The increasing prevalence of hematological cancer, advancements in Research & Development (R&D), and the growing demand for personalized treatment are major factors driving the market's revenue growth.
Hematological cancer, also known as blood cancer, refers to a type of cancer that affects the blood, bone marrow, or lymphatic system. The need for medicines is rising due to the increasing prevalence of hematological malignancies worldwide. According to the American Cancer Society, it is estimated that there will be around 196,060 new cases of hematological cancer in the U.S. in 2022, with approximately 83,040 deaths from these diseases.

Major players in the global hematological cancers therapeutics market include
AbbVie Inc.
Amgen Inc.
AstraZeneca plc
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company
Celgene Corporation
F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd.
GlaxoSmithKline plc
Johnson & Johnson
Novartis International AG
Pfizer Inc.
The development of novel treatments resulting from improvements in R&D efforts is driving the demand for hematological cancer medicines. For example, in June 2021, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a novel treatment for multiple myeloma, a type of hematological cancer. This treatment utilizes a monoclonal antibody that selectively targets specific immune system cells.
Furthermore, the rising demand for personalized medicine is another factor contributing to market revenue growth. Personalized medicine aims to improve patient outcomes by tailoring their care based on their unique needs, genetic makeup, medical history, and other characteristics. The use of customized treatments for hematological cancer is increasing, leading to improved patient outcomes.
Targeted therapy, which focuses on specific proteins or genes involved in the initiation and spread of cancer, has proven to be less harmful and more effective than conventional chemotherapy.
Moreover, the increasing investment in R&D is expected to drive market revenue growth. Government entities, commercial businesses, and academic institutions are significantly funding R&D efforts to develop novel therapies for hematological cancers. For example, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) allocated over USD 136 million to hematological cancer research in 2021.

However, factors such as the high cost of medicines, adverse effects of hematological cancer therapeutics, and the availability of alternative treatment options could restrain the market's revenue growth. The high cost of hematological cancer therapies, particularly in developing nations, limits their widespread use. Additionally, the adverse effects of these therapies, such as significant fatigue, nausea, and hair loss, can make it challenging for patients to adhere to their treatment plans, thereby impacting market revenue growth.
Overall, while the hematological cancers therapeutics market is expected to witness substantial growth, challenges such as cost, side effects, and alternative treatments need to be addressed to fully realize the market's potential. Continued advancements in R&D and the development of more targeted and personalized therapies are likely to drive the market forward.

The NCIS website states that agents must retire at the age of 57, and since 20 years of service are required for retirement, they have to enter NCIS before they turn 37. I know Deeks' age issue has been widely discussed, but I feel like that was on the topic of FLETC. How are they going to find a loophole for him to enter NCIS? Or is Hetty just going to pull some strings?
I cannot speak for the others, but in my discussion of Deeks and the age requirement, I was speaking more in the terms of him joining NCIS as an agent, because of those requirements as you list. As for FLETC, they don’t just do basic agent trainings there, it is a place where specialized training, continuing education, “how to be a supervisor” type training, etc. all happen. I can’t find any spelled out reference, so I’m not 100% certain, but my feeling is, if your agency wants you there, you go to FLETC and do the training. Their website lists ranges for Physical Fitness Standards by age and gender, starting at 24 & below, and continuing to 60 & above. So I’m pretty sure FLETC isn’t the problem (the show probably just simplified the “joining NCIS as an agent”/basic training thing by just referring to FLETC).
The NCIS Website lists the following requirements:
-Must not have reached 37 years of age (exceptions are preference eligible veterans and those currently covered under the 6C Federal Law Enforcement retirement system). ** -Must have vision correctable to 20/20 with normal color vision. -Must be a U.S. born or naturalized U.S. citizen. -Must have a valid driver's license. -Must pass a background check. -Must pass a polygraph examination. -Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. * An accredited baccalaureate degree is not a requirement, although it is a quality-ranking factor.
As far as we know, only the first requirement is holding Deeks back. In further reading, what it means by “those currently covered under 6c...” is that if you’ve worked as in another area of Federal Law Enforcement for enough time that your total years worked would still be 20 by age 57, you’re still eligible to become an agent.  Now, the biggest question is - Does Deeks fall in that category?? The on-paper answer, probably not, as he is an LAPD employee. But this document gives us set of roles that qualify as Law Enforcement Officers:
Tumblr media
Coupled with this definition of Law Enforcement Officer from 5 U.S.C. 8401(17):
Tumblr media
leads me to assume that Hetty could successfully convince whoever higher up that Deeks’s 11 years as the LAPD Liaison to NCIS should qualify for reasons similar to those in the first highlighted section (if prison guards can be considered such, an active liaison working directly with other Federal Agents could probably qualify similarly). While he probably never received a separate paycheck for this role, I would assume there has to be some kind of a stipend or something from the agency attached to his LAPD paycheck for his “liaising”. This could be enough for Hetty to say he’s worked in FEDERAL law enforcement for 11 years, thereby qualifying him to 1) add to a federal retirement and 2) fall into the category of that exception of requirement one on the NCIS list.
TL;DR - I don’t think it would actually be too much of a stretch for someone as “creative” as Hetty to present reasonable arguments that would legitimately allow for Deeks’s acceptance into NCIS.

Title: Godly Marine: Killed Author: Scarpool Fandom(s): NCIS, Percy Jackson & the Olympians Pairing(s): Gen Rating: PG/K+ Summary: Chapter 10 (12/13) — Staff Sergeant Michael Kahale, Marine Corps Mechanic and Son of Athena, was murdered. Annabeth Chase is determined to find out who did it and why. She, along with Percy Jackson, Grover Underwood, and Clarisse La Rue, infiltrate NCIS where they team up with NCIS Agents Leroy Gibbs, Anthony DiNozzo, Timothy McGee, and Ziva David. Complete Genre: Fanfiction, Mystery, Drama, Humour, General, Action Warnings:  N/A
Annabeth sighed. "It was Michael's father, wasn't it?"
Gibbs's masseter muscles flexed. "Impersonating a federal agent is a criminal offense."
Well, she already knew the answer to her question anyway. "I know that."
"Is that all you've got to say, Chase?"
"I won't apologize if that's what you're searching for."
Gibbs jabbed a finger at her. "You lied to me! In my house!"
"Did you expect me not to? What did you want from me?"
"The truth. Honesty. Trust."
"I couldn't take that risk."
"You took that risk the moment you came into my investigation, meddling with my team."
Was this guy for real? "I had more than myself to worry about, Agent Gibbs. I had my mission, my friends, and Michael."
"Your mission? Something other than Kahale?"
"He called me because something was wrong. 'Help them,' he told me. That was my mission. Find out who needed protection and from what."
"His family," Gibbs concluded, "And you entrusted me with them, what he told you to protect."
"Justice still needs to be carried out, and by leaving it to you, I know it will be dealt with professionally and impersonally."
Gibbs took a second. "You trust me in that."
Annabeth nodded. "Yes."
Gibbs peered at her. "How'd you know?"
"About Mr. Kahale? He would have told me the truth."
"That simple, huh?"
"He knew who we were, there was little excuse. And when I figured out his family was what Michael was talking about, I knew they had to be involved."
"He's family."
Annabeth looked up in surprise.
"Greek gods have a pretty messy family tree," Gibbs said. "You were his family. The one on his god side."
Annabeth breathed out an airy laugh. He was a smart one. "He was my brother. We shared the same mother."
"Athena."
Annabeth considered him. It wasn't a question. He knew. Gibbs was definitely not to be underestimated.
"Did some research on the myths. It's part of the job when a case revolves around it, especially when they turn out to be real."
Well, that wasn't vague at all.
He was probably making assumptions again. Annabeth narrowed her eyes. Or was there something more?
"I couldn't turn my back on him. I know you understand that."
"You don't know anything about me!"
"We both know that's not true." Annabeth pointed to herself. "Child of Athena, remember. If there's one thing we're good at, it's analysis. This is your team, but it's also your family. I've been to your house- your living space says a lot- and I did my own research, Gibbs. On you. Family isn't just important to you; everything you do has your family at its core. Your rules probably don't have anything on family. Family is why you do what you do, so there's no need for rules about them. It's your drive. Your center."
Gibbs said nothing. Annabeth huffed. 'That's right. If you get to use your vague assumptions, I can one-up with deduction.'
"You do what you have to for family," Gibbs said. "You and Michael were close?"
Annabeth noted the softness that permeated his voice. "Not in particular."
"He held your contact close to him. He told you that he was heading to Peru."
"You're assuming that-"
"It's part of the fake name you created. Hell yeah, I can assume! No such thing as coincidence. You knew the ship's next dock. He must have told you; he trusted you. Out of everyone, he chose you to help. There is obviously some sort of network for you. The evidence has been working with me for two days. Maybe that's how you met, maybe not, but he has to have more connections. He decided to bring you into this, not someone older."
"I am older!"
Gibbs's eyes flashed, questioning.
"The world isn't the safest. Demigods attract monsters. They sense us. They come to challenge us. There is a safe haven, and we either make our way there or get killed off."
She turned to look at the rest of the two teams staring wide-eyed at them. She met Percy's green eyes and held it for a moment, before turning back to Gibbs.
"Look. I had a job to do, a mission to finish, and family to take care of."
"That you did."
"We understand each other, then?"
"Yeah, guess we're good." Gibbs smirked. "Agent."
Annabeth almost sighed with relief.
"And if anything happens." Annabeth straightened. This was Gibbs. Of course, he wasn't done. "If you hear anything…"
"We'll handle it. But," Annabeth added as Gibbs's entire body stiffened, "I'll keep in touch."
She saw a vein on his temple twitch in annoyance, but he stayed silent— stubborn Navy cop.
"So," Grover fidgeted under everyone's stare. "What now?"
"It's time for you to go home," Gibbs said firmly.
Annabeth saw Ziva playing around with one of her other celestial bronze knives. Ziva tried grabbing the blade, but it continued to faze through her. She shook her head and extended it to Percy. "Thank you for lending us these."
Percy looked at them. "Keep them. You never know when you might need them again."
Annabeth smiled at him. "Even though those aren't for his to give, Seaweed Brain is right. You should have them. You were able to see through the mist and should have something that actually works against monsters."
Gibbs tilted his head in acknowledgement.
"I guess this is where we part ways," Annabeth said, feeling exhausted all of a sudden, the adrenaline's and ambrosia's effects wearing off.
"Hey," Gibbs said. "This will be the last time I catch you impersonating federal officers." Annabeth smirked. Old people are so demanding. "And try not to land in any more newspapers, especially you, Jackson."
This time, Annabeth let out a laugh.
Percy squawked. "What! Just because- those times- it wasn't my fault!"
Annabeth suddenly remembered something.
"Gibbs! One more thing. Michael's body…"
Gibbs nodded in understanding. "That strawberry farm any valid?"
"You won't be able to enter." Although, Annabeth was sure he probably assumed that anyway. Probably thought he wouldn't be able to find it, either.
Gibbs grinned.
"I'll call you."
-Κλαρίς-
Clarisse watched the greyed Jarhead, and his three teammates walk away. Faithful. Loyal. Proud. That man had her respect from the beginning. He was a man trained for more than combat. It took courage to break the rules, independence to do so with solid reasoning, and leadership to have his teammates follow not because of fear but because of trust. Leroy Jethro Gibbs is a great Agent, a great Marine, a great man.
Clarisse was proud to know and say she had worked and fought alongside Agent Gibbs. Although she had to be purely honest.
"I will never step foot in an office again!"
-Αντώνης-
"Are you really going to keep this quiet, Boss?" Tony clicked his seat belt in. "I mean, this is pretty big."
Gibbs shrugged. That was a yes, then.
"I don't want any of you to lie for me," Gibbs told them. "Your reports are your own. It's your own decision."
"Well, I don't think putting down that I fought against snake ladies and such will go down very good with Vance. Not to mention how a supposed NCIS Agent is part donkey."
"Goat."
Tony snapped his head to McGee. "What?"
"He's a satyr," McGee said. "He's part goat, not donkey."
Tony was prepared to make a snide remark but held back when he took a proper look at his younger partner.
"You look a bit pale there, Tim. You alright?"
Tony's concern grew when McGee looked at him with a terrifyingly vacant expression. "He was part goat, Tony." He waved his hand in front of his chest. "Half human. Half goat."
Oh, boy. "Yeah, I get that. You should drink some water. Lie down."
Ziva gave him a threatening look. "Not on me. It is hot, and we are covered in dirt. Wait till we get back, McGee."
"He might not make it," Tony warned.
"He is perfectly capable of-"
"Do you think there are elves?"
Ziva spluttered to a stop, looking incredulous in McGee's direction.
"You know. Like, do they have other magical weapons? Gems and potions and..."
Ziva felt his face. "Oh, McGee, you are burning up. No! Don't fall asleep! McGee!"
"We gotta get back to base, Boss."
Gibbs nodded, and Tony groaned at his words.
"Back to work."
-Γκρόβερ-
Grover frowned. "Is telling him our address a good idea?"
"He already had it," Percy pointed out. It was a good point, too. It was already in their system.
"Can't we use the mist and the laptop to make them forget about us? Chiron is not going to like-"
"It will be fine, Grover," Annabeth said, halfway leaning on Percy. "I trust Gibbs."
Gibbs… That man was something else.
Grover had felt so anxious! He didn't think he could have been in Annabeth's position. Gibbs had such control over his stare. Even though he wasn't the one under it, Grover had felt the cold steel gaze he pinned Annabeth with.
All that disappeared when he felt a weight across his shoulders. Percy had wrapped his arms around Grover and Annabeth. Squishing them together. Clarisse grumbled as Annabeth held an arm out to her, but let herself be pulled in any way.
And it felt right. The four of them waddling awkwardly away. Grover felt Percy's happiness practically envelope their link.
"I'm totally gone," Annabeth said with a laugh. "I hope whoever's in the backseat doesn't mind me laying on them."
They almost fell as Percy jostled in the middle. "I don't mind!"
Grover laughed. Being with friends always felt right.
"Let's go home."
-Λεον-
The door swished open. "You called, Leon?"
Leon looked up from. 'Leon.' The Long Island team was really gone, then.
"Some disgruntled scholars are calling us cheats, Gibbs. Accusing NCIS of hiding intricate historical artifacts vital to their field."
"'Vital,'" Gibbs chuckled. "I didn't realize dealing with annoyed university professors was in the Director's job description."
"It's not. I was just made aware of the situation and went to ask Ms. Scuito about it. Now, accuse me of being curious if the knife they were all after was gone. Part of another investigation. One that I am unaware of. I go visit the good doctor downstairs, and Kahale's body has already left the building."
"Things move fast around here, Leon."
Leon felt his teeth grind together. "The chair is big, not slow."
"We solved the case, Leon."
"You did, collaborating with Long Island. Speaking of which, where are they?"
Gibbs handed him the case file. "Kahale had a run-in with the Reynosa Cartel. They went back up to follow leads on their end."
Huh, so the Reynosa Cartel is involved.
"What about on our end?"
Gibbs shrugged. "Their case. It's all in the report."
Gibbs gave another team his evidence? His body? His case?
Leon felt a bit bad for those academics. They would never see the knife nor Scuito's findings.
"So, they're fighting Reynosa alone? I don't remember giving that directive. Seems inefficient."
Gibbs raised his brow. "You are Director, Leon. You can assign tasks as you like."
Leon made a face. "Not that team. Can you believe I didn't even know there was a small NCIS department in Long Island? Apparently, something in the works by SECNAV. He's all secretive about it."
Gibbs shrugged. "It's the top dogs, Leon. They're always secretive."
Leon glared at him. Something about the way Gibbs spoke made a small part of Leon nag at him, but he couldn't put his finger on it.
"We should start digging into the Reynosas. It's bad enough that they've infested our neighbor's lawn. We don't want the same in our own backyard. I want this wrapped up, Gibbs, and I expect you to lead me through every step."
"Of course."
The nag got stronger.
"I trust you put as much detail in the report about what happened."
"Of course."
Leon's grip on the file tightened. He felt like he was being played, which means he probably was. He had read enough of Gibbs's and his team's reports to recognize garbage. He was sure that's what he would find. He hadn't even opened the thing, but he could already smell the stench. Leon should take Gibbs's badge, break up his team, file a report. Do all the things he swore he would do when he took the chair. But he couldn't. Not yet. With SECNAV also waving his secrets around, Leon had to be patient about this. Had to be smart.
"And you found out about all the Greek stuff?"
"It was a part of his life. He and his family lived like these stories existed. Had to fight them to survive." He carried a bit of a faraway look on his face. "We finished it for him."
Gibbs missed the skeptical look Leon threw his way "What were you fighting?"
Gibbs snapped back to reality. Replacing the lost-in-thoughts look with a mischievous one. "Hellhounds, harpies, a hydra." Gibbs grinned. "I took out a Cyclops!"
Leon ground his molars, wanting to punch that smug look off his face. Trying to be Mr. Funny, huh? 'It doesn't suit you, Gibbs.'
"Really?" Leon said. "And what happened to all of them?"
Gibbs mimed an explosion with his hands.
"Poof!"
-Περσεύς-
Michael's shroud was a silken sheet designed as the flag of the United States of America. The cords tying the body were embroidered with grey owl tassels. It was beautiful and patriotic, but it had turned to ash long ago. The fire burned low, surviving on the remaining cinders. Most of the campers had left. Only a few stragglers remained.
Clarisse stood by the forest, staring moodily at the smoke rising into the clouds.
Grover sat far from the fire, whispering with Juniper.
Annabeth sat nearest. Percy couldn't figure out the face she was wearing. Troubled, perhaps? The bonfire was a neutral grey. Lost in thought then.
He sidled up next to her. "It's over. Mission complete."
"I know. It's just…"
He gave her a smile, hoping it wasn't as awkward as it felt. "You are overthinking about what's going to happen next. I know you. You're going through every detail of what happened."
"It's just- It's so odd to see a network between mortals and monsters. I can't shake the feeling like I'm missing something."
He nudged her side. "You're overthinking it."
Annabeth rolled her eyes at him and leaned over. "I'm compensating for your lack of thinking."
"Hey!" Percy pushed her but put no force behind it. He was glad she wasn't frowning anymore. "Seriously, though, I'm sure you've thought about it enough. If anything does happen, it's nothing we can't deal with, and we'll get through it together. I promise, Wise Girl."
Her eyes sparkled from the fire's light. "Thanks, Seaweed Brain."
Like magic, the fire burned brighter, turning a colourful shade of pink.

Remember when celebrities had to have an actual talent to earn their fame? When they had to be able to sing, dance, or act — sometimes all three at once? There doesn’t seem to be too many multi-talented celebrities anymore. That’s why when Zach Villa enters the room, the energy completely shifts. He is so talented, you won’t be sure what hit you. This energy may initially be attributed to his neon hair— but that’s not the reason his presence is so arresting. Want him to dance? Sure. Want him to sing? Ok. Want him to do a monologue? He’ll likely ask you which one you want to hear. Villa is a genuine triple threat in a sea of reality TV stars and wannabe Instagram influencers.
Most recently, Villa appeared on American Horror Story: 1984, portraying a disturbingly hot version of real-life serial killer Richard Ramirez, which has garnered him acclaim. But contrary to people thinking he just popped up out of nowhere, he’s actually been performing for a very long time.  How did Zach Villa go from zero to 100 in triple threat domination? [more under the read more]
Villa has a pretty significant background in musical theatre, which comes as a surprise considering he mostly plays dark characters on TV and currently fronts the emo punk band, Sorry Kyle. Musicals and tap dancing are the antithesis of his roles as a performer now, but it all began by him playing a gargoyle on stage in a community theatre production. “I couldn’t remember my two lines to save my life. Give me a break, I was a child!” Community theatre subsequently became a big part of his life. “There were so many dance performances to choose from and my mom probably has some adorable (embarrassing) footage of those times… I played Dallas in The Outsiders my last year in public school. That was a turning point when I realized that there must be more training involved in acting…” And training Villa got, at one of the most prestigious institutions in the world—Julliard. And no… it wasn’t just like the ’90s classic, Save the Last Dance, and probably not the kind of training one imagines will prepare an actor to become a serial killer on American Horror Story—but, indeed, it did prepare Villa. “You learn just as much from a good experience as you do a bad experience,” Villa reflects of his time at Julliard. “And that made me strong and skilled, and I am grateful. Also, it’s a conservatory, so there was no way I was going to convince the program to let me take a dance class with Julia down the hall with my course-load… but trust me, I tried.” Though currently Villa spends a lot of his time doing various TV shows like NCIS :LA, Fox’s Bordertown, Honeyglue, and Cardboard Boxer, he also still continues to perform locally in various Los Angeles venues, including having made a guest appearance as the Sexy Oogie Boogie in a Halloween show last October. So which type of performance does Zach Villa like most? “Each provides a different kind of high. There is nothing like hundreds or thousands of people screaming at you while you rip a solo, or the breath being collectively held in a theater as you say the climactic line reveal — but in all performative mediums you are manipulating space and time. As performing artists that is what we do. But in theater or on stage with a band you have a very different set of parameters and violence with which you can paint the picture that you are making for the audience. So basically, I’m greedy. I really like to ‘paint’— and performing in all of these mediums lets me do it in a variety of ways. And at the end of the day,  they all feed each other. I act like I do because I dance, because I sing, because I understand rhythm, because I understand melody, because I understand energy and inflection… you get the idea.”In Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: 1984 series last year, though you won’t see his character busting out a tap solo, there’s no question that Villa’s extensive background and  training helped him to win over fans with his portrayal of Ramirez. “A ton of research went in to it — and then at some point you just have to sail the ship with what you know and riff on it like jazz and make your own original thing. One of my favorite parts as the show developed included finding opportunities to show some humor with this character, who I’m sure for most audience members represented chaotic evil. And learning how to levitate for the role. That was pretty cool… I enjoyed the role of Richard Ramirez less because he was a murderer and more because he was a complex psychological case. Trying to find empathy in that mess was so satisfyingly challenging to me. I think any character that has a wild or complex life — someone that we don’t societally see as being relatable or simple — those characters are interesting to me.” When considering his so-called overnight success, Villa asserts that Lizzo may have said it best: “8 years of touring, giving out free tix to my undersold shows, sleepless nights in my car, losing my dad & giving up on music, playing shows for free beer & food w/ -32$ in my bank account, constantly writing songs, hearing ‘no’ but always saying ‘yes.’ Glad I never gave up. This is what ‘overnight success’ looks like.” Villa adds, “I mean, how do I improve on that explanation? Art is a lifestyle, a developing, ongoing relationship you build with yourself, and like any career there is a grind to get that payoff. I think that through the grind, you come to appreciate what you have when you get it. And some people never get it. I’m very grateful. That being said, I know my gifts and have been shining the light, and I am glad that I have some company nowadays.”In addition to his ongoing acting roles, Villa is increasingly focused on music projects — his aforementioned emo punk band, Sorry Kyle, and a solo project that showcases his darker side. His latest single, “Revolver,” is a mashup of hip hop, Trent Reznor-esque industrial rock, and melodic spoken word. On the other hand, Sorry Kyle is a dream come true for anyone who loves Jimmy Eat World and Green Day. “’I am large, and I contain multitudes.’ Someone brilliant said that and I agree with them. The current projects are fairly representative of some main tenets that are current for me. Sorry Kyle with pop punk and emo vs. my solo project that is darker, moodier and more complex. But does it encapsulate everything? Heck no. Let’s circle back in 40 years or so when I’ve pushed out a few more records.”Villa teases that new music is on the horizon. “I am releasing a ton…records for Sorry Kyle and my solo project respectively, and maybe a couple other surprises. I just want to keep that flowing. I hope to be back for AHS again. Going to make more tap dance videos. Get my pilot’s license and ride my motorcycle a lot more. It’s a very exciting time and this is just the beginning…I’d also love to play an action spy/hero, or a political figure of intrigue. Give me a curveball, I’ll hit it.”

NCIS: LOS ANGELES:  "Genesis" Teaser/Act One
Previously-s are Callen running a con by running into Leah.
Callen is watching some of the Russian Noble Maidens pounding the hell out of each other again with the creepy guy running the place explaining that pain is all in their head.  Callen hears someone saying 17 and suddenly Young Callen is the guy getting pounded.  Callen realizes that the guy speaking sounds like the man who hit him as he was being trained.  Callen wakes up.
Callen and Anna are packing up their apartment, the movers are coming tomorrow.  Callen researched the name on the film container and it doesn't mean much.  He's going to rewatch the film one more time before helping Anna move.
Working with Rountree in the gym, Fatima has ghosted a guy she was dating for three weeks.  She thinks it is four weeks for really ghosting.  They deal with terrible people all day – it is hard to get into the nice guys she likes.  The two banter.
Jogging on the beach with Sam, Kensi is talking about Alara (sp?).  Deeks is meeting with the government about her staying with them, then a law school buddy who is an immigration lawyer.
Callen/Anna "step back" scene.  Callen is called into the office, they are going to talk that night.
Fatima, Rountree and the Admiral are meeting with the ONI's top guy in LA, former investigator Akhil Ali.  He is getting set-up.
Deep fake Callen sent a semi-obscene message to the Admiral.  When Callen says it wasn't him making the call, the Admiral asks if Callen thinks he'd be alive if he really made that call.  Callen nearly lost his job since Leon thought it was real.  The Callen/Admiral scene.
The Admiral can't believe he's dealing with digital facsimiles of his agents or he'd be living in a yurt somewhere.  Vance wants Callen deskbound until the deep fakes stop.  Callen asks what if they don't stop.  The Admiral doesn't have an answer.

⑨ WHERE WERE YOU BORN ? a hospital in Tomball, Texas
⑩ WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES ? video games, D&D, I’ve recently gotten into dip painting, Magic: the Gathering, 3D character modeling (although as is true of any art project I pursue, I suck at doing it from scratch but I’m great at modding existing stuff), putting together flat-pack furniture (a functional 3D puzzle!)

⑬ HOW TALL ARE YOU ? 5′2″, I am a smol
⑭ DREAM JOB ? forensic specialist a la Abby Sciuto from NCIS.  I know it’s not anything like presented on TV, but the whole field looks incredibly fascinating to me, from the mundane analyses of paint scrapes to the ballistics analysis
⑮ FAVORITE SUBJECT AT SCHOOL ? Chemistry although we didn’t do nearly enough experiments, but honestly I love what I’ve learned of ochem from researching stuff for @sippingteafromabeaker and various Sherlock RPs.  I want to go to college for biotech, but I’m 31 and with no proper internet, the dream is getting further away
