Here’s a mystery of life expressed in the form of two sprigs of basil. Both were cut at the same time and placed in bottles of water next to each other. I also treated both with reiki and positive affirmations. One is a pristine sprig, lovely green stem, the other has a partially brown stem from when the plant struggled last fall, and has had two other sprigs cut off the top previously. One has sprouted roots, the other has not yet rooted. Look closely and see which one said, “game on bitches!” Remember, just because you’ve faced challenges and not had the easiest time, just because you’re not perfect and unblemished, does not mean that you’re “less than.” From adversity we can grow stronger, we can even develop super powers.
