based off of the leaks where it looks like sunday has the astral express ticket on his clothes — ii.

When SUNDAY boarded the express, he was not surprised at the… less than friendly welcome. The tenseness that would follow him to every room and cart that had another occupant was one that he knew would not leave him alone for a long time. Nobody really wanted to interact with him too much.

Nobody but Pom Pom — which was expected since they were the conductor — and you.

For some reason, you tended to him like you both had been friends since childhood who had just reunited. You bought him new clothes with your own credits, you forced helped him to decorate his bland room, you snuck into the archives when Dan Heng was on a mission and let him look at all the data and information he could dream of.

And overtime, SUNDAY found himself subconsciously keeping either you near him or him near you. Mostly the latter. Your presence was like reassurance humanized. Most of SUNDAY’s time was spent with you, and during those times he noticed how you picked up on his habits and mannerisms and knew what each little details about him meant.

He didn’t know if you had picked them up since Penacony or if you were just very perceptive and fast. But your knowledge on SUNDAY proves useful whenever it comes to missions or just mundane activities on the express.

If he’s struggling against conversation, if he’s trying not to stress over something he had placed and couldn’t find, if he doesn’t like the food but was trying to be polite.

"I’ll be fine, I’ll have Sunday with me," You would say whenever you would go off on a mission, effectively dragging SUNDAY with you. You initially thought he was annoyed by it, but the small smile that blooms on his face, so genuine and thankful that you pick him as your partner for the mission, always made you discard that thought.

The halovian likes to think that actions speak louder than words, so he will thank you by making sure you’re protected. He knows he’s not the strongest person on the express, but he also isn’t the weakest. He almost ascended, he’s more than capable of protecting you should the mission take a less-than-pleasant turn.

When it’s just a nice stop at a planet to explore and look around, SUNDAY acts like a bird who has just left it’s cage. If he drags you around during the little sight-seeing journey, please don’t be upset. He’s just so intrigued by how different every planet is from Penacony. He’s read of some, yes, but it’s very different when it’s in real life.

It’s still very new for him to introduce himself as a nameless, so sometimes he might pause mid-introduction to stop himself from saying the incorrect title. If you introduce him, he’d appreciate it. Just until he’s used to it.

um. a lot of spoilers for end of quest utc

everything from a lore perspective was so good and did answer a lot of questions??? misha being mikhails spirit with the express being the only ones to see him due to the nameless connection, everything explored with sunday and robin (VERY happy with all the sunday lore and screen time we got btw) and gallagher being part of the history fictionologists to robin and sunday being orphaned bc their home (im pretty sure) was destroyed and the current (or maybe former now post quest???) dreammaster adopted and raised them and more of acherons past.... god it was so good...

so. the whole fiasco where i said boothill and black swan were travelling with us? yea well that was part of a dream AFTER the easy sunday boss fight bc we all fell under enas abilities AND THEN WE WAKE UP AGAIN WITH THE CREW TO FIGHT HIM (i still am holding onto the hope that they travel with us for a bit ;w;)

WHICH MEANS JING YUAN HELPING US WAS PART OF A DREAM BC DAN HENG STILL HAS THE JADE ABACUS STOP IM SOBBING LIKE

WDYM U DID ALL THIS ONLY FOR IT TO BE PART OF A DREAM WE WERE IN 😭😭

but everything revealed with acheron was so... gosh... i cried a lot in this part... esp when the man turned out to be one of the nameless "tiernan" and felt regret for not being able to find "legwork" (mikhail) and wondered if maybe he would find him again in the afterlife.... shut up... just shut up...

BUT HOLY FUCK THE ACTUAL SUNDAY BOSS FIGHT???? LITERALLY IMMACUALTE. the ost, and cutscenes leading up to it, and mechanics and just everything was so so good and omg....

Lots of irl things happening atm, BUT I managed to play through Penacony 2.2 (stretched over 3 days, no less)

Woah. Just ... woah. So much happening, so many characters interacting, so much lore, IT WAS GOING ON FOREVER but I loved it nonetheless. Of course they had to make the finale of Penacony long and epic.

FIRST OF ALL I KNEW IT! I TOLD Y'ALL!!! Literally in my post about 2.1 I talked about how Misha definitely has some close connection to Mikhail/the Watchmaker. I suspected him to be a child of his or something but the actual thing was close enough, I guess. My sweet boy. I love him. Mikhail being a Nameless was so cool. I'm really glad we're finally getting more lore and info about Akivili and previous Nameless, but I feel this was only the beginning.

I'm still madly in love with Sunday and Acheron. Robin is such a cutie too. I'm not gonna pull for her because I need my savings for Mr. Boothill and then Jade but I'll try and pull for her on a rerun. Sway to My Beat in Cosmos is such a banger. Caught myself constantly singing "riiise into my wooorld" (ofc much worse than the one and only lol)

On the topic of Boothill... my god. Love him. The way they can't make him swear so they just make him say??? Whatever??? Whose idea was that 💀 mother loving instead of mother fucking?? What the fork?? Wubbaboo?? I would die for this man. He looks so hot too. Again I have to say that HSR never misses with male character design. THEY'RE ALL SO PRETTY.

On the topic of pretty men... SUNDAY. My little radicalized bird man. I cackled when Sparkle called him chicken boy. She's just a hater, love her for that. Serious question... is he straight up dead now? I have only played the main quest so far so in case it'a mentioned somewhere in game don't spoil me but if it's not... tell me will I get to see him as a playable character... pls...

The whole thing with Ena the Order was so interesting to see. The fact that they made Order so similar to Harmony... AEON LORE. Love it. Resurrecting an Aeon is possible, you say? Kind of? The way they make Sunday'a motives understandable... he's just a boy

So I had the feeling that facing the boss Dominicus was a bit too easy the first time around. Wdym he has only one phase. I should have known there was more to it. Nevertheless loved to see IL and Jing Yuan cameo. They slayed (literally)

But then the eerie feeling I got when Black Swan talked to us on the Express... the way she makes us question everything that happened... GENIUS. I did kind of get flashbacks to Sumeru act II. The line between dream and reality, who is dreaming, what happens outside of the dream, the repetition of events... not critiquing or hating, but the concepts were just similar to me and I liked it :) Penacony just put a different twist to it.

The final fight was still very cool. The several toughness bars to break is really interesting, and the fact that you get a shield value the more bars you break. Also the Astral Ecpress literally crashing into Sunday??? I barely realized what I had just watched ghe first time around. Idk why, but the concept is hilarious to me. And the question remains... is Sunday dead now??? What about Robin?? Are they both dead??

Aventurine isn't dead either?? What about the present that Sparkle gave out to several people? What was it and what did it do? Is there smth I don't remember about that rn? Did I miss it? Also if Robin didn't actually die, how come we saw her body? If she just got transported to Dreamflux Reef, then there wouldn't have been a body, right? ALSO is Firefly dead too? She didn't make an appearance throughout the second part after we see her leave and she talked abput the way that the script said she would die 3 times in Penacony... I'm so eternally confused. It's part of the reason I think there's still gonna be more in the next patch... They're not gonna give us playable Firefly without at least a Story Quest for her, right? And Jade, too? She had one appearance in a throwback during the story, the Trailblazer hasn't interacted with her in person yet so the IPC probably hasn't finished their business with Penacony yet?

And since I mentioned Trailblazer... HARMONY MC??? LOOKS SO GOOD? LOVE THE MOVES?? THE HAT? The Significance of it had me 😭😭 my MC obsession ks back y'all. He looks so good. Caelus ily. The silly little dance with Clockie 😭 Can't wait to build him, I heard Harmony MC is really good.

I also briefly have to mention my girl Acheron. So they've literally just casually confirmed that she's Raiden Mai? I actually don't know what Bosenmori means or it's significance BUT RAIDEN MEI. And her whole flashback with Tiernan... I had my suspicions about his identity but the reveal was interesting, anyway. I've got the feeling this is not the last we've seen of Acheron. I never played HI3rd far enough to fully understand Raiden Mei's story, but I'm really intrigued with the whole thing. How come her and Welt exist in noth universes, how did they end up in HSR and what's their motive?

One thing I'm also still hung up on is the Annihilation Gang... no more mention of them? We don't get any real eyplanation as to why Acheron killed Duke Inferno? No little animation of the scene? I'm guessing it's gonna play a role later? The reason they talked about it is probably to tell us that Acheron was dangerous but like... idk what to think of it. No question the other members of the Gang are gonna appear later and maybe then we'll get more background? But if they don't play a large role in Penacony, why introduce them to the players prior to it in such a grand way?

Anyway, I judt have lots of questions still but no doubt the game is gonna answer them when the time is right... I had a really good time playing the quest, went through a whole lot of emotions during it, fell in love with even mlre characters... the new maps are GIGANTIC and look so cool and let me just say rhe music was so so epic too. Can't wait for the OST for this to get released.

I also wanna mention here (outside of discusaions about the story) is that having a fully leveled Acheron with pretty decent relics paired with a tank Aventurine feels like playing the game on easy mode. Nothing can penetrate a fully def stacked Aventurine, and Acheron's damage is straight up insane. Gonna take a while before I get tired of using them. They helped me clear basically all Stage V of every SU World I hadn't done yet... legends.

Now we wait for Boothill... The grip that Hunt characters have on me is unbelievable. Meta wise I know I should invest in Harmony characters... Ruan Mei or Robin but... HAVE YOU SEEN BOOTHILL? HAVE YOU???

Alright, that's it for now. Really excited to dive into exploration and events and quests of the new maps. Might post a little about it.. or maybe not. I still have to tell you about my thoughts on the Arlecchino quest and Remuria exploration, I began a post about that and never got around to finishing it.

OK so because I'm a masochist (who shares in this fun hobby of tormenting myself with images of pain with someone who shall remain nameless) I've thought about this a lot. Shared below, with permission, is some of the noodling I've done on this topic with the aforementioned anonymous person who likes to give me INCREDIBLY ANGSTY AND DEPRESSING THOUGHT EXERCISES I SWEAR THIS IS A TWO WAY STREET Y'ALL. Please note that none of this is in story format and Doc is she instead of you because that's how I think about the fic in abstract terms? I guess? I don't know lol it's a mess in my head.

ANYWAY

I cannot stress enough that this is like... super depressing and also COMPLETELY RAW AND UNEDITED, all I did was pull out comments/prompts from the other person out of respect for them. So please limit your judgement as much as possible this stuff is real bad lol

how terrified he was when he thought she might be bitten, how the first place his mind went was "I can kill her and I'll only need to be around for a few seconds after she's gone"If she got bit and he needed to kill her, he'd try so hard to keep it together for her. She'd be low key panicking and be like "Please don't let me turn into one of those things, please just kill me, please" and he'd just brush her hair back and hold her face in his hand all gentle and be like "I won't baby, not gonna let you go through that, OK? I've got you, it's OK. It'll be real quick, won't feel a thing and I'll be right behind you, OK? I'm right behind you, it's OK" and he'd hold her when he did it so she didn't feel alone and he'd keep holding her when he did it to himself, too

If Doc died in the tub the night that Joel left her in the QZ 

Joel is trying to avoid herTommy goes to the clinic that day and she's not there, which he expects because she's not supposed to be there on Sundays, but hears someone say her name and how they aren't sure how they're going to cover everything without her and there's a "...I still really miss her" at the end and he's like "wtf' and so he asks until he finds someone who will actually talk to him and he's like "no, we're old friends, I just haven't seen her in a few weeks, what happened?" and Marta just kinda looks at him like "how can you not know this" and says "She died. They weren't really sure how, if she did it on purpose or if she passed out but she drowned in her bathtub" and Tommy is, of course, reeling because he loved her, too. But he's also like "Oh fuck I have to tell Joel" and he's kind of in a daze and just walks around the QZ for a few hours and he gets home and Joel is just like "the fuck is your problem" and he's like "Joel... brother, you... I need you to sit down, OK? Need you to just... stay calm for me, OK?" and he says her name and then kinda stops and Joel gets this bad feeling and is like "what" and Tommy is quiet and he's like "what, Tommy. What is it. She fuck up something else, what'd she do, what's going on" and he's just like "She's dead, Joel." and Joel is silent for a minute and then asks what happened and how and Tommy really doesn't want to tell Joel what they told him and so Joel just gets up and Tommy tries to stop him and he's like "Don't fucking touch me" and he goes to Andrew's and he pounds on the door until Andrew answers and Andrew looks like hell, he's lost weight and he looks like he's hardly slept and he looks kind of dead in the eyes until he sees Joel and then he just looks like he wants to just set him on fire and he's like "The fuck are you doing here"

and Joel is like "what happened, you have to know what happened, please, fuck, please tell me what happened to her" and Andrew shoves him and just yells "You! You happened, you fucking happened! She died that night you fucking asshole, she lived for you and she fucking died for you, too. I hope you're fucking happy" and Joel is just practically frozen there and just lets Andrew wail on him for a minute before he looks at him and goes "you must fuckin hate me, right?" "Oh I more than hate you you fucking..." "Good. Kill me. Don't... don't care how just... please, fuck just..." and Andrew just kind of laughs at him darkly and says "No, no I'm not doing you any fucking favors, Miller. I have to live with the fact that I left her alone that night. You get to live with the fact that her blood's on your hands." Jess pulls Andrew back inside and Joel just trudges home but Tommy is kind of waiting for him, he's already stashed all the guns and the knives and he got Tess because he knows what Joel is like when he loses someone like thatand Joel only asked Andrew to do it because he couldn't risk flinching again, he had to do it right this time and he goes for where he keeps his gun as soon as he's in the door and it's gone and Tommy is just crying and he's like "Joel, you can't, I'm sorry..." and he's like "Just give me the fuckin' gun, Tommy! I can't do this, not again, I can't, I can't" and he just drops to his knees and Tommy holds onto him Tommy and Tess take turns, he's literally never alone for months. Eventually they think he can be trusted on his own and he's OK for a while but I think it wouldn't take all that long before he's gone, too it wouldn't be as obvious as a gun, it'd be him making a stupid mistake and getting bit or shot or an accident on a job in the qzand all the time in between he'd be such a shell of himself, Tess and Tommy always sharing a look when it's especially bad like "this has to get better at some point, right?"and when it eventually happens, neither Tess or Tommy are ever sure if it's really an accident or not. Joel wasn't really sure either, he just knew that the last thing he thought of was that last morning before Doc flew back to New York where he got her pregnant in the water and her and Sarah made French toast

I am going to pretend now that I very intentionally did not give the man a proper name for Important Plot Reasons. Part of psychoanalysis requires the analyst to maintain strict neutrality in order to be a blank slate for the patient to project their neurosis onto, so keeping him de-identified plays into that. Also, it's Regulus' POV and Regulus doesn't care what Dr. Boring's actual name is. It is definitely for these good reasons that he's nameless right now and not at all because it just never occurred to me to name the poor man.

But Regulus is warming to Dr. Boring, who will be named eventually I promise 😭.

"I am curious - what are your favourite fics?" Oh honey, this is a tough question! Mmmh, let me think. I usually prefer to read long fics, just because I really really like discover the story and the characters, and have the time to come to know the characters and why they are how they are in "the present", what made them that way and how they deal with who they are. So, obviously it's hard to squeeze all these informations in a, lets say, 20-40K words story. So many of the fics I’ve read since now are long fics. That been said, I’ve read some short fics that I really loved. Now, in no particular order, and just because I can’t choose one, I think my favorites (those stories that have let me like I was missing something once I finished reading them) are, for the long fics: young and beautiful (classic, but really, the way it’s written and the entire plot and the characterizations OH MY GOD, I loved loved loved that story), Strawberry Milk Fic (the author treat the argument of deal with trauma in such a way that sometimes I had to stop reading because like…it was so emotionally intense! The Harry in this fic is one of my favorites Harry and the line between his strength and his fragility is so thin! And Louis’ character here is…just wonderful. It was really well written and every little thing is treated with the right amount of respect, every little detail), Mine Would Be You (just the entire story here is something else. I loved how it jumps between present and past and how the flashback are not in a chronological order. I loved this and I really also loved Own the Scars, also from the same author, but I HAVE to choose, and I choose this one). I feel like I could go on and on. So I’ll add Tired Tired Sea and For As Long As I Can Remember because I LOVED both of the stories but, really, I love how both green feelings and mediawhore writes, and how their plot are always original or originally developed!
I might add to my favorites also “You are in Love”, I think it’s not so well known as the others I mentioned, but it was really beautiful. I wanted to re-read it but I suffered too much at some point (of course there is a happy endings, I couldn’t bare an unhappy ending, my heart is not ready for that hahah), so I wait till I’m ready to re-read it because it was a really beautiful story. That said, I have to add some of the shorts fics I love, because I would feel guilty not to: A house built out of stone, sadly it’s been deleted, but OH MY GOD my feelings have never been the same, after. So well written, and a really beautiful characterization of Louis (and Louis here owns an old book shop, I LOVE OLD BOOK SHOPS!). And, LAST I PROMISE! (Quite the Pandora's box you've opened with that question, I’m sorry if I have gone on for too long!) The last short fic I loved (like really, really loved) was “to live on the moon with you”. Really beautiful, I found myself smiling at my phone when I finished to read it. So that’s it, I think. Please, forgive me for how much I have written and for my English. Probably there are many mistakes…😰🙏 anyway, it’s almost midnight here, so… I’ll hope you a reaaaally good Sunday, and if you want to, and if you have time, I would love to know what are YOUR favorite fics! ♥️♥️♥️

Hiiii, Mels!🥰❤️ Omg thank you so much for telling me about your favourite fics, I was really curious to know which ones you had on your list, and I’ve loved getting to know about them a bit more!💕 I must say that you’ve also mentioned some of my absolute favourites in there (”Own the Scars” and “Mine Would be You” are both such an incredible journeyyyyy, and tbh two of the only instances in which I have actually *cried* while reading fic, which is not very easy to do! Both stories are so well-written, so intense and so satisfactory in their evolution+ending that they always leave me in awe!). And same for “Tired Tired Sea” and “For As Long as I can Remember”, it’s INCREDIBLE and definitely also on my favs list! (From green feelings, I also have “Nameless Night” on my favs list, which is... WOW!💕). I’ve also read and liked the Strawberry Milk series a lot, I totally agree with what you were saying about the characterisations - in both cases, really well-done and lovely!🌺 I think I haven’t read the others you were mentioning, but I’m definitely taking note and adding them to my To Read list (we seem to have pretty similar tastes, so I’m sure that I’ll love them to pieces when I get around to reading them!)

 I coincide with what you were saying about prefering long fics, since there’s more room for knowing the characters in depth and include their backstory/trajectory and, of course, their development and evolution - I also love stories like that, and I also have a soft spot for plot-driven fics (investigation, thrillers... fics in which there’s a plot, apart from their relationship development!).   As for my favourites!❤️ We’ve already talked about two from the top of my list: “These Inconvenient Fireworks” and “You are the blood”, and, as I was saying, you have also already mentioned some of the others (hahaha I love how we coincide so much in fic taste!🥰), but apart from those I also want to mention some of the others in my favourite list: “Hiding Place” (it’s Canon Compliant with a twist, and one of the first I read in the fandom and WOW! I couldn’t put it down, I loved iiiit, and also all the video links so that you can see what the fic is refering to!), “For Reasons Wretched and Divine” (a lovely story in two time periods, incredibly well-developed and so EMOTIVE!), “And Down the long and silent street” (it’s a bit of a thriller, and loveeeed the Jack the Ripper vibes and the characterisations!), and an absolute classic, “Wear it like a crown” (loveeed how the enemies-to-lovers was handled here, and also how interesting the backstory and plot was!).

“Hello! Now you’re back with me on 09:30AM radio! You all still remember me, right?”

Jihoon smiled at the sound of her.

Of course he remembered. He remembered way too well for his liking and it somehow hurt.

“Since it’s Sunday, I can see that some of our listeners are really excited for this corner. Okay okay, now we’re going to start! What corner is it? It’s Letters From Heaven!”

He took a sip of his coffee, getting ready to hear the rest.

“Okay, so if some of you are new and haven’t listen much to us yet, I’ll just explain that Letters From Heaven is a corner where listeners send their letters of some unspoken words to us, and we’ll read it for the person on your behalf. It’s fun, right? You can use this corner when you’re gonna ask someone to marry you. Oh my, it will be really sweet! So here is the guide on how to send the letter!”

Ah.

“Alright, shall we start now? The first letter I’m going to read today ... well, it says nothing here about the sender, it’s just ... a ... wink? A wink ....”

She’s probably getting nostalgic right now, he thought.

He was nervous. His fingertips were cold. His mind flew somewhere else, precisely to the girl who’s in the radio station right now, doing recording for her own corner. She read letters for people every Sunday morning, but what if she read a letter to herself? What would she say?

His heart was beating really fast. He couldn’t wait to listen.

“Hey, it’s me. You might not remember, as I’m nowhere near important to you. Right? You never said that, but you pushed me away so easily that I started to think that I’m worse than those stray cats you used to throw away because they were too ugly for you.” She started to read the letter.

He smiled.

“Do you remember our first now? We were eighteen that time. You ripped your favorite denim jacket so I had to lend you mine and freeze myself for hours that day. Even now, you still haven’t give it back to me. I was waiting for the day you finally would. But seeing where we are now, you probably would never ever do that. It’s okay. You can keep it. Don’t abandon it like you did to me, okay?”

He looked down on his hands.

“Wow, who is this person? I’m getting emotional,” she commented, letting out a low chuckle which echoed through his mind.

You must be.

“You were annoying. Even two years later you kept drunk texting me at midnight saying that you’re the worst person ever, and I would drive to your house even when I’m so fed up of your bull—whoa it’s a swear word right here, and calm you down. But even now, after all the mess you caused, I still don’t think you are. I still think that you’re one of the most beautiful people I’ve met in my life. You’re more beautiful than the first snow we have seen that day. You’re more beautiful than anything else.”

“If you,” she stopped, exhaling a breath. “If you hear me, please come back.”

He turned her gaze lower, somehow feeling ashamed that he wrote those words and send it. He bit his lower lip, anticipating whatever will be said next.

“Wink person,” she said softly. “If she hurt you that much, maybe you’re better off without her.”

Silence.

Of course, he sighed. Of course she would say that.

“These days, I’m alone and somehow I’m scared. I don’t exactly know why, but this loneliness is getting too much. There’s an empty space in my heart and you’re the only one who fit in it. I hate feeling this way but I can’t handle it. I want to bring you flowers again to see your beautiful smile for me after years. I want to start again and appear better for you. I miss you so much. Please just, please come back.”

She sighed. He sighed. They both sighed.

Yet, nothing changed.

“Please don’t throw me away again. Give me another chance, but please don’t hurt me again. I would do anything for you not to hate me. I want your explanation too. I need to know whether I deserve this or not. And ... and honestly, you don’t,”

Her words woke him up like a nightmare.

“You don’t deserve this,” she sighed again. “Honestly, I don’t think it’s even your fault in the first place. Maybe you were just loving the wrong person all along. But maybe she feels guilty too. You will never know, right?”

Did she ... did she just said that?

“How about this, Park Jihoon,” she said, sending chills down his spine after he heard the voice that finally called his name after years of longing. “Maybe you can visit her here if you want to?”

Almost a year ago today I decided I was either gonna boost my Si or trade it in for a 10th gen hatchback sport by the end of 2017. Instead of using that money to boost or tade in, ended up buying a lightly modded 2016 FRS. Got this car for such a good deal. If I disregard all the mods and look at this car as completely stock with only 15k miles, it’s still less than any other 2016 with similar mileage currently out on the market. 

Surprisingly the owner installed the same mods I was looking into buying anyways. Openflash UEL headers running the OFT Stage 2 tune, lowered about 1.5 inches on Tein Flex Z coilovers. He did install the Grimmspeed CAI and Nameless catted downpipe, but honestly I think those are a waste of money for an NA build. Let’s be real, an intake and downpipe plus a cat back exhaust would probably net 4-5whp WITH a tune. Definitely not worth the $1,500 for such a small gain and what’s mostly just for sound. There’s not really much left I would want to do performance wise. Will not be going boost, although I’m really tempted to go the turbo route. It was nice to actually talk to the seller directly about the car and the mods, and not a dealer who has no clue what was modded or how it was driven.

I like that he chose to be different and plasti dipped his wheels white instead of running black wheels like most people. Personally though, I’ll be swaping the wheels to some XXR 527′s at 17x8 +35 or +42, in a matte bronze finish once the tires need to be replaced. Waiting for my Valenti Red Edition tail lights to come in. Already swapped all the interior lights and license plate lights to white leds. Transferred the HID kit that I’ve been using since I had the tC, went back to 5000K from the 6000K I ran on the Si. Seriously though, I’m surprised the ballast from the $50 kit I got from HIDxtra back in 2009 is still going strong. It’s just been multiple bulbs and one corroded relay harness that I have replaced. Gonna swap the gauge cluster LEDs to all blue with white warning indicators, similar to what I did for the tC. That’s pretty much all I needed to do for cosmetics. Later on I plan on installing a flex fuel kit to run e85. Not sure what I’ll do for suspension yet. Wanted to take it to TWS sometime in the spring to wait and see how the current set up is before deciding on what to change. But from the three hour trip from SA, I was pretty impressed with how the car felt with just the stock suspension with coilovers. Quite the difference compared to the setup on my Si. I really love the seats. Fits snug and I don’t move around at all. Power wise, the FRS doesn’t pull as hard as the Si. But that’s expected with the FRS having lower torque. Even on an agressive tune for the FRS, it’s running almost 20 wtq less than what I’m used to. But power isn’t the reason I got this car.

I still really love and enjoy the Si. Was hoping to at least sell the car to my cousin to keep it in the family. Unfortunately my uncle isn’t looking to pay for another car right now. The only thing I’m not gonna miss about that car is the black paint. It looks soooo good when it’s clean, it just gets dirty too easily. I’ll drive around town the day after a wash, and there’s dust settled on the rear bumper. Wish I knew if there was just a certain road I drive on or if all the roads I drive on cause that. I like to try and keep the car clean. Idk maybe it’s just me, I’ll see all the small amount of dust or dirt on the car, and it’ll start to bug me. Most people probably just see a shiny black car and not notice a light layer of dust. I wash my car once a week on Sundays, but I’m not gonna wash it every other day because of dust. I don’t enjoy spraying quick detailer and wiping it with a mf towel every few days either. So I’m very glad to be going back to white.

At least I’ll have no problem selling the mods from the Si. Most everything I got is in high demand. Especially in the case of the OEM projector headlights. Not many people in North America are going to be rocking those, unless they had a friend import them here. Everything I bought was used and cheaper than what they usually sell for, so I can pretty much recover most if not all of what I spent.

Recently I’ve been helping my sister find a gift for her bf. She wanted to give him something when she comes back to CS, before he finishes his finals at A&M and heads back to SA. She told me he’s similar to me and likes RC stuff and model kits. Since he’s an engineering student, I jokingly/seriously told her to get him a light model frame for a plane, so he can then build the motor and w/e he needs to be able to make it fly. She just laughed at me. Couple days later she sends me a screen cap of a text of her using me to try and pry more info out of him so she knows what exactly he wants. The last text bubble is him pretty much saying he likes to build cheap model planes so he can put RC parts into it so he can fly them. That way at least if it crashes and breaks, it wasn’t one of those $400 RC planes. Yo, what’d I say?!

We found some cheap wood frame planes that include the motor, that he can then use with his existing controller. I’m thinking to myself these actually look interesting and fun. May end up buying a couple for myself. Then I made the mistake and looked at the side tabs and saw one for cars. Curiosity had to take over and I ended up clicking on it. Big mistake because I ended up looking at all the drift cars they have. I could look at most of the cars and I say I’d want it but don’t need it. That was until I saw a frame for the FT86.. OMG! I still have my modded rc drift car that has a tC body shell, for when I owned a tC as well. So for sure, I’m now gonna buy a MST MS-01D chassis with a white 86 body shell. A kit with everything needed to run it is already pretty pricey. Then I noticed there’s a lot of upgrades for these things. Performance and cosmetic upgrades. GDI, I dun need another expensive hobby. Good thing I don’t live in Japan. Super Autobacs, Gundam Base Tokyo, Tamiya Plamodel Factory, and Akihabara area are like heaven to me. Think I could do with a stock setup for awhile. Maybe get similar wheels to the XXR’s and paint them matte bronze. I can already tell I’d bring this thing with me into town. So if I get bored in town, I can take it out in an empty section of a parking lot or go to the park.
