This is my oc, Michiko. She is the sister of Nagasu. (Not by blood, but because close bond.) I always imagined she is a really sweet and lovable person, so I tried to portray that in this picture of her. She also has really long hair (it reaches almost down to the ground) and lovely eyes that have heart-shaped pupils. (To add her cuteness, lol.) She is the Sword Spirit of Time and because of that, she can manipulate time and such. (But she doesn't do that much.)

...and once again I tried chibi-style and for once I'm really proud of how the character in this style turned out! 😄

December 2022 … fun was had by all!

Mariah followed up her Holiday SOI Canada tour with a family trip to Hawaii. There is no cuter hula girl than yours truly 🌺🌴 (see above video)

Nathan finished up finals and headed to Vail, CO for the Skating Spectacular show. He debuted his “Let It Be” program. Beautiful (see video below). He then ended up in SoCal at GPI for at least a day and saw the Brezinas.

i ended up getting to do a school project about figure skating and I ended up including this quote, "Failure is inevitable- and it's the people that keep trying who become successful." (Miria Nagasu) And this is one of the reasons I still skate after falling for the past few years

Another thing I was told was something along the lines of "if you don't get back up you'll never skate"

I'll most likely draw some other versions of Nagasu (my OC) because in my head she changes her hairstyles quite often to represent how she is at the moment. In this particular picture, she is still rather an open person, but stern.

On a side note, Nagasu has actually three transmutation circles carved upon her skull and each is different. I'm not sure how well it's visible in this one, but if you'll squint you can see one on her right side. She has also one on her left side, covered by her hair and the back of her skull. Usually, none of those are visible, because of her hair. Her natural hair color is black, but just for the fun of it, she dyed some turquoise and light green.

Wow it’s been a few years since I translated a song lolol. There are a few translations of this very popular AND FUCKING TRAGIC one out there already, but because the grammar gets a bit convoluted I’m sure this won’t be the last. Put it like that.

This translation draws heavily on prior art at the SMT wiki and by /u/JLazarillo on reddit.

2023-02-23—second-last line, took another look at yori takaku 2023-02-23—last line, tsukabu -> ukabu 2023-04-28—jibun de kimeta michi: this is an almost direct Akechi quote, and jibun is "yourself", here (telling someone else's story). also that is the last time I paste dialogue from the wiki. 2023-05-14: various minor wording changes. 2023-05-19: turns out nukumori and kasaneta te are often linked, and it means the warmth of the hand you're holding.
