Have a read please. 🤗 I previously stated that this weekend was beyond words.. well I think I've finally been able to put SOME words to it. This weekend was magical. This weekend was reassuring. This weekend was heartbreaking. Inspiring. Encouraging. And this is why.. I got the pleasure of meeting so many beautiful souls. Many of which were hurting so much. At my shows, I have a tester out for people to try.. Hearing stories about countless pills, creams, companys etc etc and them still just be battling to live a functional life.. it was heartbreaking. I encourage everyone to try and test my products. I listen to their stories. I hear their pain. Many stop me mid conversation to tell me that they literally feel the relief coming on. I took a loss in some aspects and gave away to those who needed it but couldn't make the jump whatever the hurdle was. I bundled to those who found relief in many products. I rubbed products on some and cried tears with them of as they felt the first bit of relief. THIS is why I do it. I understand it's NOT about the money. These are PEOPLE and someone needs to listen. I'm glad these people feel so open and trustworthy with me. It touches my soul in so many ways. Time to catch up on all these orders and keep going! Let me be clear.. As I sit here trying to decompress after an exhausting, LONG and trying day I have to remind myself of how I felt this morning. I was enjoying a warm cup of coffee replaying the events from the day before. Fighting back a kool-aid smile as I tried to play it cool. I felt rejuvenated and alive. As if wasn't 5a & all my dreams already came true. Maybe I was still dreaming but I honestly felt like a million bucks. My soul was legit giddy. The day began and one thing after the other began to unravel and fall apart. I Put my head down and just went to work addressing all issues. Then the most trying of them all. A difficult situation where I AGAIN sat their (alone) and dealt with an abusive individual who felt the need to patronize and condescend. I met the limit of my patience and danced with the thought of throwing in the towel and completely loosing my cool & job. As my ears burned and my hands shook from the adrenaline and every single emotion running thru my body I thought I will get thru this with my dignity held high! Minutes later as I was able to process the madness I coached myself and reminded myself CHIN UP. My soul was content with the attempts I made in assisting this individual and my conscious was clean. I did my job to the best of my ability and I wasn't going to have anyone tell me otherwise. I was proud of myself for how far I've come as an individual, a woman and professional. I had more cojones than everyone else including my superiors and those with higher education. ME✋🏽 this chick right here. I am SO freakin proud of myself not because I didn't reach over my desk and completely lose my cool but because I proved to myself and others that I am a good manager, good business woman and I hold the keys to my own success. I am much more powerful than I give myself credit for. YALL. Addy Walker was the first American Girl doll I ever received when I was a little girl. (I have Samantha too) I misplaced my Addy doll but I still have Samantha. Addy meant so much to me because she looks like me. In the 90s, she was the only Black doll American Girl sold (they were selling maybe 10 dolls back then) so you can imagine my devastation when I read it was only a matter of time before they were archiving Addy. You KNOW my black behind ran up in American Girl Place to find her before they got rid of her, and she was the only old school doll still there! I wept maybe 5-7 times in the store.
