You suddenly busted into cackling laughter. It overwhelmed you and wracked your body. Bubbling up from your core. You couldn’t control it. You laughed until your abdominal muscles ached, and tears were spilling down your cheeks.

Robyn started laughing too and you two called a cab to head back to your hotel.

 You tried not to dwell on your interaction with Chris. He had been nice and a bit flirty, but he was like that with all Stays. You had watched countless youtube compilations of your idols flirting with fans. It was normal. It was nothing special. That’s what you told yourself when you arrived back in your hotel room and your heart was still fluttering in your chest, refusing to return to its normal pace.

You suddenly started laughing again at your own thoughts and told Robyn you were getting in the shower. She was probably very thankful for this, after the events of the day and the copious amounts of sweat you had shed. You turned on your slow kpop playlist and once again let the steam fill up the room while the water beat down on you. You put your head up against the tile wall of the shower and let the water envelop you.

 I had an interaction with Chris. Fans have interactions with their idols all the time at concerts. He was very charismatic, you already knew that. Stop overthinking it and just be happy you made these memories with them, y/n.

Your heart rate began to slow and you focused on the water and the steady hum the shower made. Tomorrow you and Robyn were going into the city and it was going to be a good day. You were going to have a good day with your friend and recount concert memories. Life was good.

You stepped out of the shower and grabbed your phone to turn off the playlist. Butterfly by BTS was playing and you were about to sing along for a few words when you checked your notifications.

You had a few comments on your Instagram posts but your eyes glazed over when you saw what was next.

“I believe we’ve met, but my name’s Vernon,” Vernon said as he lifted up his right hand.

“Hey Natasha, this is Vernon and he is new..” your unneeded introduction of Vernon got cut off by Natasha, speaking and breathing hysterically at the same time.

“You’re Vernon? THE VERNON? SEVENT- Oh my GOD WHAT ARE YOU Doing HERE?..” as Natasha continued to blabber on, you noticed a few more of her friends(Who were in the same mental state as her) only a few steps away from you and Vernon.

Dragging a shocked Vernon out of the cafeteria, you ran with him into the janitor’s closet that you mentioned earlier, making sure none of the people who were amazed by Vernon’s existence followed behind.

Panting, the both of you stayed silent in the dark room as you heard the girls squealing on the other side of the painted hardwood door. The both of you only dared to breathe.

You looked over to his silhouette, still as undisturbed water. You couldn’t see his face clearly, but you could tell how solemn and quiet he was, and also not sure of what to say.

“I’ll tell you another time,” Vernon said, pausing between his sentences, “and I think we’ve started using this closet earlier than expected.”

“Scandalous,” you chided jokingly, “I don’t want to get beaten up by your screaming chasers.

You slipped back into class with Vernon for the afternoon lessons. As you sat back down to your seat, an awkward, loud, grumble sounded from your stomach.

You could feel the passion in his voice as he talked about rap making, as well as making a song, he even promoted to you about the hip-hop genre in Korea, and persuaded you to actually go and listen to them.

He lived in New York for 5 years, before moving to South Korea. He knows how to play the guitar, and he wants to become like his role model, J.Cole.

You felt really inspired from this mini sharing session with him, and you think that Vernon is such a wonderful person to talk with. That was when it hit you - you didn’t give him your number.
