every time I hear “midwest gothic” as in reference to the cryptid rule writing of the midwest, I always think of a goth Indiana and/or Illinois. I also headcannon theme as siblings for some reason. So, goth siblings

New York always gives “oversized puffy coat with a scarf that covers his mouth” with that pose where his torso is back and his hands are in his pocket. He feels…. So dramatic. Like he either gives “60 year old man” or “dramatic teenager with spiked makeup” and it’s one or the other.

California gives “lanky bitch” and he’s always a lanky motherfucker with a sleeper build and angel bites. He has top surgery and never wears shirts because he’s “getting his moneys worth” but in reality he just thinks he looks really aesthetically attractive. Btw If you ever become friends with this man he’s going to be the craziest bitch on the block with the exception of Florida and Nevada

Florida has floor length hair or a complete buzzcut that has too many colors in it.

Alaska, I adore him, but he gives shapeshifter abilities and he never appears fully human. If he ever appears somewhat human that man looks bone skinny and like that tall cryptid you’d encounter on a late night walk. I refuse to believe Alaska is anything but a cryptid who’s limbs tint to vanta black. Nobody knows anything about him besides a select 3 and those three are his Auntie, Hawai’i, and Maine

Alaska is pure Cryptid Behavior to me and sometimes he’ll do a little glowy glow in the middle of the night to give some states an unintentional spook. Little guy (he’s on average over 8 ft) is just saying hello

to me, Hawai’i gives “some type of water entity being” and I like the idea of her having a shark tail and generally being a water entity. I think marine animals are cool! Hawai’i is a marine biologist, marine things! She can hang out with the marine things for as long as she wants because she’s partially a some marine animals. We got the gills and lungs so she can breath on both land and in the water and you got the fins and the tail for easy water movements and then the legs for easy land movement

i love the whole “New Jersey being a devil” thing. I adore the concept and him have the wings. Ok so bat wings are basically just hands. All those long little bones are fingers in the wing.

also if he needs to fly, he’d need stability, so a tail and webbing would be required. Also them wings need to be GIGANTIC- if I have the math right, it’s the person’s height x 1.5 = the span of one wing. I headcannon New Jersey to be about 5’0 so one wing would be about 7.5 ft for a total wingspan of 15 feet :D

🌍 Recom Miles Quaritch He would feel so guilty and blame himself so much. How could he have been so careless to the point of hurting you? When he sees your tears, it's almost impossible for him to control his anger — he promised himself he would never hurt you, but here we are. It's honestly a scary sight; you know he's not angry at you, but he's so angry at himself that you don't even dare to say anything. Instead, you go find Ja. Once he's calmed down, he'll come to see you and make sure you're feeling better. He'll apologize over and over again, and he'll be extra affectionate to make up for what happened.

😈 Recom Lyle Wainfleet You wouldn't lie - you were fully aware of the risks when you started dating those ten 9 ft tall aliens. Maybe Lyle was too, but that didn't stop him from feeling absolutely terrible when his tail accidentally pushed you, causing you to crash into the wall. The impact against the wall made you cry out in pain, and Lyle was immediately by your side, apologizing profusely. The bump on your head wasn't too serious, but it still hurt. You reassured Lyle that everything was alright and that you weren't angry, it was just an unfortunate accident. After making sure you would be okay for a moment, he goes looking for Ja, while screaming bloody murder.

🍬 Recom Z-dog At first, she can't believe it. She never intended to hurt you so badly that you passed out. She becomes extremely angry with herself and starts yelling for you to wake up, but you don't respond. If you're curious about Z-dog's weakness, well, congratulations - you've found it. She sits by your bedside until the moment you finally wake up. She asks everyone else to leave the room, so it's just the two of you, and she genuinely looks upset for once. She knows she went too far, even for herself, so she tells you that she wouldn't blame you if you decided to break up with her. But of course, you don't, because the damage isn't permanent and accidents happen, right? She's there for you so much in the following weeks, not caring if it makes her appear weak or if people tease her (they'll get punched if they do). She just wants to make it up to you because she hates the fact that she hurt you, and she'll do anything to make it right.

🥽 Recom Walker When she realizes that it was her fault you got hurt, she'll quickly bring you back to Ja to get you fixed up. If he's not available, she'll take care of you herself. She'll feel terrible because she loves you and her role is to keep you safe, not cause you harm. You mean the world to her and she's afraid that you might lose trust in her, but that's not true at all.

😎 Recom Mansk Instant panic. He never wanted to hurt you, and it was a shock to see you hurt. He knew he had to take care of you and make it right. You tried to calm him down, but he was really upset. You knew he would never hurt you, but it was sweet to see him rushing to get the first aid kit. He patched you up and you could see how sorry he was. You gave him a kiss and told him it was okay. He hugged you tight and you felt so loved. The next day, your room was filled with your favorite things - flowers, chocolates, and new jewelry. He really knows how to make it up to you!

🧯 Recom Prager He's absolutely horrified. His biggest fear is making a mistake and causing you to be frightened of him. As soon as he realizes he's hurt you, he becomes completely frozen until he comes back to his senses. Then, he'll quickly come to where you are, embracing you tightly and apologizing sincerely. He'll hurry to take you to Ja to get you properly bandaged. You understand his fears and reassure him that you will never be scared of him, and that what happened was just a small mistake.

⚕️ Recom Ja When Ja saw the wound, he stayed calm and immediately apologized. "I'm so sorry, my love," he said before going to grab his first aid kit. Meanwhile, you stayed in the kitchen, holding your arm. Since Ja is a medic, it came as no surprise that he efficiently stitched up the wound. "All done," he announced, gently placing a bandage on it and giving it a kiss. "I really am sorry, love." For the next few days, Ja followed you around, constantly checking up on you. He even growled at anyone who got too close to you, and he made sure to remind your other partners to be extra careful, especially with their tails.

🧢 Recom Brown From the very beginning, he feels incredibly guilty. He jumps right in and does everything he can to assist. Even though it was simply an accident, he takes it to heart and is quite tough on himself. It truly saddens you because afterwards, he becomes afraid to even touch you. He believes you're scared of him and you have to reassure him that you would never be scared of him. It takes some time for the tension to ease, but once it does, he becomes even more careful and considerate around you.

📿 Recom Lopez He stood frozen in place, unsure of what to do. But then, when he heard you make a noise of pain, he sprang into action. He quickly picked you up as you applied more pressure to the wound on your lower arm, and swiftly carried you back to the med bay. He started moving everything out of his way, searching for the medical kit. Finally, he found the kit, but realized he had no idea how to help. He was more accustomed to causing harm than healing. "I got it," you said, taking the kit from his hand and starting to treat yourself. He felt awful, absolutely terrible. He just stood there, watching you, wanting to learn how to fix injuries so he could help you if it happened again. "It's okay, Lopez. You didn't hear me. I should have called out or something. It was my fault," you reassured him, even though deep down he knew it wasn't true. He shouldn't have been holding a dagger when you were the only one around. Once your arm was taken care of, you moved to hug him, and he hugged you back tightly, as a way of apologizing.

⛓️ Recom Fike After he hurts you, you feel like he needs to be the one being comforted. The moment you catch a glimpse of his pained and horrified expression, all the pain you were feeling instantly fades away. Without hesitation, you rush over to him, gently pulling him down to his knees and placing a reassuring hand on his face. You let him know that you're okay and there's absolutely no reason for him to blame himself. He's there for you, helping you clean up and making sure you're alright. From that moment on, he becomes incredibly cautious and careful around you, always mindful of your well-being. If you kindly ask him not to bother Ja to check up on you because you're perfectly fine, he'll respect your wishes. However, as time goes by, his anxiety starts to get the best of him and he can't help but seek out Ja. He confides in him, explaining what happened and requesting that he checks up on you. It's important for him to hear multiple times, from both you and your other partners, that he shouldn't blame himself for what happened.

I like to think that hylians are extremely small compared to humans. Gerudo women are about the average size of human women/men, while hylians stop growing at around 5ft at most. So not only are the heroes really small for their own people, but they are tiny compared to us. I'd like to think Time is the tallest at around 4'7ft, which is not tall in the slightest but to the heroes he's massive.

So here is all my height headcannons

-Minish: The smallest. Only around 4-5 inches tall, often smaller.

-Kokiri/Koroks: around 2ft tall, once again depending on the person themselves.

-Rito: 3-4ft tall. Birds of prey are often bigger, but males are always smaller to their female counterpart (like in real life).

-Hylians: 4-5ft tall. Basically short humans, but they have denser bone structure to accommodate. Which is why the Links don't have broken everything when being flung around.

Humans: 5-6ft tall. Average height standards.

Gerudo: 5-6ft tall, with Ganondorf being 7ft usually. Normal human height.

Zora: 5-6ft tall, unless they are royalty, then they are 10-12ft tall. Females are often taller than their male counterpart.

Gorons: 8-9 ft tall. The tallest of all the races, mainly due to being made of rock.

Then leaning your face towards him, you then kissed his lips without a thought—wwith no hesitation, as Suna's eyes widened for a moment before kissing you back, deepening the kiss, turning it into a make out session.

“..Mhm, damn. Finally decided to make a move, huh?” Slowly breaking the kiss, Suna let out a small moan before speaking, a breathy laughter spilling out. “You made me impatient, don't blame me.”

(You're referred as being this tall *4,9 ft*) honestly doesn't care about that aspect.. because you love him for him and he loves you for you.. so it really doesn't matter.. but he does try to help you with daily task if it becomes a hassle.. because being short is a blessing and a curse, don't worry it's the same thing as being tall, it's a blessing and a curse.. rip.. so yeah doesn't even care about how tall you are.. nor does it boost his ego

-How would they treat you? Like a normal human being? Like what am I supposed to say he treats you different because you're short? No he treats everyone as an equal.. yes even the port Mafia.. yes he may not be okay with what they're doing.. but he respects them as a person.. like everyone should.. no matter how cruel they are..

-Would they help you out if can't reach anything? Absolutely.. if you ask he'll get it for you in an instant.. but if you're too shy to ask.. then he'll think of something quickly he could get in the same area you're reaching for.. like your reaching for potato chips and there's some chocolate there.. he'll simply grab the chocolate and place down the chips and claim he was simply getting a treat for the both of you..

-Would they tease you? No.. because he's legally not allowed to.. like have you seen his character build? of course he can't tease people... Unless they somehow added that in his character all the sudden.. which I personally doubt they would

-How would they kiss you? I also think you'll just go for forehead kisses.. and that's it.... But if he were to try to kiss you in the lips.. you'd probably be laying down, sitting up or sitting because he thinks it's rude to bend down for you and even more rude to carry you up to his level.. he's not one that's interested in doing such acts..

-How would they feel when they realized you have insecurities when it comes to your height? he's a mostly confused.. because was there to be insecure about..? Did he do something? Once you reassure him that he did nothing then he'll go after to comfort you.. if it's because you feel bad of asking him to do things he'll tell you that he doesn't mind at all .. if it's because you hate feeling short.. he'll tell you that you're perfect the way you are.. yes he's our supportive boy that always tell you you're perfect the way you are..

-How would they deal with bullies? If you have bullies he'll certainly have a stern talk with them.. yeah they end up never doing that again because they never seen Atsushi that angry and intimidating.. like even Dazai was intimidated.. then he'll comfort you telling your dad those bullies are jealous because you're perfect..

-Do they take advantage of it? If so, what do they do? In my opinion I don't think you'll ever take advantage of it.. maybe for cuddling but that's it..

-What they tend to do, because you are short? I honestly think that Atsushi would be the type to place the necessary stuff on the lower shelf so you're able to reach.. like if he has an old bowl that no one's going to use, then he'll place it on the tallest shelf because it's not important to you.. yes he has everything you need and desire on the level you can reach.. like it makes life convenient when you can reach things

-How do they feel about that? (You're referred as being this tall *5,0 ft*) okay.. your short, so what? He really doesn't think about that sort of thing.. because his superior Chuuya Nakahara is only 3 inches taller than you.. he thinks it's normal that some people are shorter than the general population and the same goes for people that are taller than the general population.. yes he actually thought that shorter you are, the more aggressive you are, obviously when you pass the age of 18.. he's glad you're not exactly like that.. but if you're shorter and you're innocent and naive.. his number one priority is to protect your innocence..

-How would they treat you? Like any normal human being? Well fine.. he treats you a bit different... Instead of saying the weak should die... He's protecting a weak one because he cares.. yes he considers you weak (you're probably some normal citizen without an ability)

-Would they help you out if can't reach anything? Not really but.. if it's his home, then he'll just place everything lower for you.. if it's public issues such as grocery stores.. then he'll secretly help you.. like if you're trying to grab something from the top shelf.. he'll take the list and distract you with something you can easily grab that's on the list.. you not noticing what he did, you went after the item he requested and that's when he did his secret deed. He took the item you were trying to grab and placed it in the cart go for your acknowledgment (yes, he even secretly crossed the item off the list, so you wouldn't get suspicious)

-Would they tease you? No.. I don't think so.. because I believe that Akutagawa has better things to do than tease you for something you can't control... And on a regular basis Akutagawa doesn't tease people.. I just feel weird whenever I think about it.. like Akutagawa.. teasing? Especially about height...

-How would they kiss you? Not one for kissing but if he does.. you're probably pushed against a wall.. on your tippy toes.. You must be wondering Why does he put you on against a wall? Yeah the scene proves everything (if you don't agree, agree to disagree)

-How would they feel when they realized you have insecurities when it comes to your height? The same as Atsushi.. he truly doesn't understand why you have an insecurity.. but we all know his gut tells him that someone planted those ideas.. you decide if someone planted them or not.. if so you know what would happen.. if not.. he'll probably be so harsh.. he means the best but is very aggressive and rude.. yeah.. Gin to the rescue...

-How would they deal with bullies? We all know his Moto "THE WEAK WILL DIE. DIE. AND MAKE WAY FOR OTHERS"... Yeah nevermind that doesn't make sense.. I'm trying to imply that he'd probably kill them or.. intimidated them to the point that they're afraid of going out their own house.. he'll probably kill them, then do that but there's some moments he does that..

-Do they take advantage of it? If so, what do they do? No? He probably wouldn't? Unless he's shielding you. Like cuddles and even actually shield you from danger.. other than that he never takes advantage of your height

-What they tend to do, because you are short? I think he would be the same as Atsushi.. Akutagawa would place all the necessary stuff on the lower shelf so you're able to reach.. like if he has an old tea cup that your not going to use, then he'll place it on the tallest shelf because it's not important to you..
