my grade 10/11 history teacher used to refuse to give me hard copies of the notes (i can't listen and take notes and probably have an auditory processing disorder) and then would refuse to let me retake tests bc my study notes weren't good enough bc i didn't have class notes to study from and then my grade 12 history teacher did the same thing but he would also call me out in front of the class and lecture me for not taking notes
#inner thoughts to keep me sane#my first history teacher would yell at me in class#and he absolutely hated me#but he was nice to every other student#my grade 12 history teacher literally told me he doesn't do hard copies of notes#and that he won't help me#which like if he's not gonna help his students succeed why is he a teacher???#needless to say i barely passed any of my history classes#i think my highest grade was in grade 12 when i got a 52#in grade 10 it was 50 and grade 11 was 51#so at least i was progressing

ive got an essay due at 3pm tomorrow and ive not even looked at it i am so so unserious about my degree and by the grace of some higher being i somehow keep managing to crawl through it's actually getting a bit funny
#me and an old friend of mine used to have a running joke during a-levels that im just one of those people where shit Works Out#and it started bc we shared two a-levels (english and economics) and in BOTH classes i regularly didn't do the homework#or the reading etc and yet it would ALWAYS work out for me#like we'd walk into a class neither of us having done the homework and they'd get yelled at while i went under the radar somehow#or that one english essay i got the highest score in the class when i literally hadn't even read the fucking book it was on#and when we pointed the theory out it started just becoming really prevalent#like no matter how late i am for things i'll arrive and by some miracle the thing im late for is also late (e.g a train or teacher)#like im just one of those people that has very very mundane luck#and low and behold i am fighting this degree with bloody fists putting the absolute bare minimum in for my own sanity's sake#and i SOMEHOW keep pulling through. literally failed two modules last year and STILL got a 2:1 average#and the last essay i wrote was the worst essay id ever done in my life and i get my standards are higher bc ik im good at essays#but the point still stands and you know what? i got a FIRST#literally was pure waffle i have never blagged it so hard and i got a FIRST#and all this shit just makes me cockier and cockier and go even more by the skin of my teeth and it ALWAYS WORKS OUT#it's soooo silly but im not complaining. anyway ill keep u posted about this essay <3 it's econ history so is actually interesting#but the most ive done for it is ask the sc ai lmao and for context degree-level essays usually require a good few days of graft#live love laziness#hella goes to uni

Gojo x reader
Very much fluff
"YOURE KIDDING?!?" Nobara yelled
"Ugh I already told you two I'm serious I would know better than anyone" Megumi groaned
"But why didn't Gojo-sensei tell us!!!" Itadori whined
"Who knows the guy is an idiot" Megumi said leaning back
Nobara nodded in agreement
The three first years had just seen their teacher give a kiss to the Jujitsu High second year teacher, y/n l/n, before she went off somewhere. Yuuji and Nobara sat on the training field speechless.
You were very admired by all the students for your caring yet sensible personality, the opposite of Gojo.
"How could you guys not have known? I mean she calls him Toru and they eat lunch together everyday." Megumi groaned, upset he had to talk about Gojo more than he ever wanted to
"Well not everyone was raised by him!" Nobara scoffed
"She helped raise me too ya know? actually she probably did the most of it, cooking and stuff, she was like a mom to me" Megumi opened up slightly to his friends
"But I mean l/n-sensei is pretty hot I don't know why she would go for Gojo of all people" Yuuji commented
Megumi stared blankly at his friend who seemed have purposefully mentioned this fact right after he just told him how she was like a mother to him
"Like how did they even meet?!" Nobara said breaking the silence
"According to her they went on a pretty important mission together when she was a first year and he was a second-"
"He's older than her??? Gross!" Nobata yelled standing up and crossing her arms
"Love is love!" Yuuji retorted
"Like I was saying" Megumi scowled "when he was a second and she was a first year they went on some important mission with some other second year, Gojo won't tell me more for some reason. That's how they first met"
"Come on Fushiguro!! You gotta know more!" Itadori urged
Megumi grumbled remembering every time Gojo had gotten and sappy with him about your relationship "they got closer a year or so later when they both lost someone in their class who was really important to them. I guess the rest is history."
A suddenly noise startled the three first years as none other than Gojo Satouru was standing behind them
"Weren't you supposed to be training and not getting distracted by my incredible love life" Gojo snickered
'You're one to talk' they all though in unison
Gojo placed a hand on Megumi's head to ruffle his hair "if you must know Y/N loves me and we are married"
"You didn't tell me that!" Megumi yelled "since when!"
"We are not married, just together" you said suddenly appearing by Gojo's shoulder
Gojo made a fake pouty face
"I have no clue why you keep telling everyone that" you said a mischievous twinkle in your eye that Gojo recognized and began to run away while you chased after him, attempting to tickle him
"At least they're happy" Yuuji beamed
'How?!?' Nobata and Fushiguro thought

my bully
summary: jake has been bullying reader since elementary school. he’s always picking on her, inappropriately or not, but it’s just not enough for him. he decides to try something new.
warnings: bullying, unwanted touching, teasing, cursing, slapping, making out
word count: 1.9k
════════════════════════
sim jaeyun who’s just known as jake is the worst person alive. i absolutely hate him, why? because he’s my bully. it all started in elementary school when i was 6 and he was 7. i was making a sand castle when out of nowhere he decided to destroy it right in front of me. he threw sand in my face after, laughed at me and ran away. i’ve never even done anything to him so i have no idea why he’s like this with me. we’re in high school now, i’m 17 and he’s 18. is he still bullying me? sadly. here’s a recap of some of the stuff he’s done to me.
1. i needed to get my homework out of my locker to give to my teacher, but of course jake was standing right there in front of it. “jake. could you please move out of the way? i just need to get my homework..” “yeah, sure” i was surprised when he moved to the side for me, he’s never been nice like this. but i opened my locker, grabbed my homework and closed my locker. i did it quick so i could get away from jake who was stood next to me just staring. when i tried walking away, i felt him grab me by my arm and pull me back. “hey. before you go, could i get the answers to the homework? i forgot to do it” he reached his hand out, signing me to hand over my homework so he could copy my answers. i knew that if i didn’t he’d do something bad to me, so i handed it to him. what did he do? he started ripping up my fucking homework for no reason. he didn’t even copy my answers first, what the hell?!
2. it was extremely hot outside, to the point where my sweat was dripping. i had put on some shorts and a tank top and it wasn’t just me who did so, everyone else were dressed the exact same way. i have history with jake, and for some fucking reason the teacher sat us next to each other. just my luck. the teacher asked us a question that absolutely no one knew the answer to, so he just picked a random student to answer the question. guess who that was, jake. “uhh, don’t know the answer. i’m pretty distracted right now” i was confused to why he looked at me when he talked about being distracted, but when the teacher went back to talking i understood exactly why. jake got extremely close to me and started whispering in my ear. “is that top too small for you, or are your tits just too big? you’re such a slut for wearing that. are you trying to get my attention? it’s working damn well-“ i pushed him away when he brought his hand up and squeezed my boob. fucking pervert.
3. i was walking home after school before i got cornered by jake. we’re basically neighbors, so this usually happens a lot since we have to walk the same way. “come on. take it off for me” he was tugging at the end of my skirt like a desperate puppy. he’s so weird. “fuck off jake” i tried to push him away, but he just grabbed me by my face with his hand and made me look at him. “don’t curse at me bitch. i could easily fuck you up, don’t test me” he let go, but slapped me harshly before walking away leaving me with a bright red mark on my cheek, how nice of him.
4. i was late to class again for like the millionth time. i was walking a bit too fast trying to get to class and accidentally bumped into someone. my glasses got knocked off my face which was just great, and it was even better when i looked up to see that it was jake i bumped into. (i wanted to die at that moment) i mumbled a quick sorry before reaching down to get my glasses. i was confused when he stopped me by placing his hand on my shoulder, but that was until i heard the sound of glass breaking. he had stepped on my glasses, and on purpose. of course he did. “why would you do that?!” i yelled in his face, those glasses weren’t cheap. “my bad. it was really just an accident” he winked at me before walking away which made me gag.
anyways, guess who just got detention. not me but jake did and i have never been happier. i used to study alone in the library, but then i couldn’t anymore since jake found out and he’d always be there to disturb my peace. i happily sat down on my chair in the empty library and placed my books down on the table, i started doing some reading and writing when the door to the library suddenly opened. “hello?” i called out, but saw and heard no one. it must’ve been the janitor? i don’t know. i just went back to studying. “you’re such a fucking nerd” i knew exactly who it was by the sound of their voice, it was jake of course. “aren’t you supposed to be in detention?” i didn’t bother to look at him, i continued studying since i didn’t want to give him the satisfaction that he was ruining it for me. “i was until i saw you walking in here. this is much more entertaining than detention” he pulled one of the chairs back and sat down right next to me. the book i was reading, he grabbed it right out of my hands and started reading it himself. “hmm. oh, yes. very interesting” or at least he was pretending to read it. “it’s not funny. give it back” i tried to grab it, but he was quick to pull away. “get it then” he waved the book in front of me, and i could tell by the look on his face that he was enjoying this. i tried to grab it again, and he pulled away once again. i tried for a third time, a fourth time and then a fifth time. it pissed me off when he started laughing at me. he kept on pulling away and i have had enough of it. i got up from my chair and decided to just leave, i wasn’t gonna deal with his bullshit anymore. but before i could walk away, he quickly stood up and stopped me by grabbing me by my arm. “wait. here” he had the book in his hand and reached it out to me. i raised my eyebrows at him, questioning if he was actually going to give it to me this time. “take it” he reached his hand out a little bit further. i sighed before trying to grab the book from him once again and he let go of it, letting it fall to the floor. of course he did.
even tho i was mad at him, i didn’t want to start anything. i crouched down, picked the book up and turned around back to the table. i placed the book down and slightly jumped when i felt jake pressing his body close up against my back. “what are you doing..?” without giving me an answer, he used his hand to move my hair away from my neck and leaned in close. i felt a shiver run down my spine at the feeling of his breath against my skin. “get off me, jaeyun” i tried to move my body away from his but i was unsuccessful. i was stuck between him and the table, it was too tight for me to move. “i’m good right here. do you mind?” he brought his hand up from under my shirt and slowly made his way up to my boob. he ran his thumb over my nipple before squeezing my breast. “i’ve always wanted to touch them” he whispered in my ear. i swallowed nervously before accidentally moaning his name, which i guess he took as a sign to go further. he started placing small kisses all over my neck that turned into sucking and biting. i whimpered at the pain, but it weirdly felt good. after he had left a trail of hickeys down my neck, he stuck out his tongue and licked over it after. for some reason i couldn’t help myself. i turned around to face jake, and not even a second later i smashed my lips onto his and he didn’t resist me. i obviously knew jake was a bad person. he did a lot of horrible things to me, and every single time i’ve let him get away with it. but there’s something about him that made me forget everything he did to me in this exact moment.
the kiss turned messy. he ran his hands down my chest all the way to the ends of my top and pulling it over my head, exposing my bare chest to him. he attached his lips to mine again, this time entering his tongue in my mouth. i brought my hands up to tug on his hair which made him let out a moan. we were all over each other and we both wanted more. i felt him place his hand on my inner thigh, dangerously close to my core. as he got closer and closer i could feel myself getting wet at the thought of his fingers inside of me. he pulled away from the kiss but barley, our lips weren’t touching but they were still really close to each other. i bit down on my lip when i felt him move my panties to the side. he ran his finger down my slit making me moan. i placed my hand on his shoulder for support, but when i looked up at him something seemed off. he was smirking at me exactly like how he would when he was making fun of me. “jake?” i was really confused when he removed his hand and took a few steps back. “you look like a mess” he laughed at me. my tits were out, my pussy was exposed, i had a bunch of hickeys on my neck, my lipstick was smudged, my hair was messy, and- …fuck you jake. i was too embarrassed to say anything, i also didn’t realize how he had reached into his pocket and pulled his phone out. “say cheese” he had snapped a picture of my practically naked body. is he serious? i never thought he’d go this far. “delete that!” i was hurrying to put my top back on and adjusting my panties while jake was just stood there watching me. once i made myself look decent i walked over to jake and tried to grab the phone out of his hand, but of course failed to. “calm down, ___. i’m not gonna show it to anyone. it’s just for me” “are you gonna jerk off to it or something, jake?” he’s absolutely disgusting for this. i shouldn’t have let myself get into this mess. “might as well. you look really fucking hot” he looked me up and down with the same smirk on his lips. “let’s finish this another time, yeah?” he placed his phone back into his pocket before leaving the library and me all by myself. i’m actually gonna kill him.

The witch and the widow chapters 1-4 author’s notes
Ok, so first off I feel I gotta preface this by saying I am absolutely not a history buff. Kinda the opposite of one really. I was one of less than 10% of the kids in my year of 300 or so that didn’t take history at GCSEs, mostly caus a subject taught and based around names and dates etc is the definition of something not suited for my type of brain, also I hugely lost interest in it caus we moved past the fun trebuchet eras and all that real fast and it became of slog of me falling asleep in lessons caus I had a teacher whose method was putting on movies and shutting the blinds (I’d always fall asleep and he was later jailed for being a p*edophile, so that’s a thing.) Anyway, all that to say I’m not good at this shit, but as ive gotten older I have taken a bigger interest in queer history in particular, and that often if not always links into other areas such as fashion, women’s rights, religion, the arts, class, and race etc. (I’m still not good at names and dates though!)
They are outfitted and arsenalled - the stones of the wall - in a manner to rival any army; tapestries of red and gold perhaps once brandished on battlefield as banners promenading around death now retired and indoor-still-air-still as taxidermy giving colour between all of the shades of metal, burnished and polished and in some cases rusting, some still purposefully left blood-stained, swords and pikes and maces arranged in wallpaper patterns as though flowers or fans, sword-sheath beams spreading from chest-plate armour suns.
Let’s start with something easy and recent. The Baron’s armoury was inspired by a few castles I’ve visited, these rooms are always so bizarre to me. I don’t know if this is at all of the time/how they were decorated or a more recent thing, but either way it’s pretty wild but I do love the visual and metaphor of it. In this one castle I found out from talking about the carpentry to an attendant that the decorative ceiling work around the chandelier above the dining room table actually hid a trapdoor - and there was other hidden doorways for passages and to secret rooms in this castle, that’s not that unusual - but this particular trapdoor was to allow for the chandeliers to be switched out. Why? Caus they had them in multiple colours of glass, and the lady of the castle liked the chandelier to co-ordinate with her dress if they were having guests round. Aint that such a flex? Definitely some food for future thought.
Aight. Clothing. So anyone that chats fic/au to me or is in my server has probably heard me yell to go watch Kaz Rowe’s videos many times. As I’ve said this fic aint meant to be historically accurate but it does kinda straddle histories, one of which being our own; so women wearing trousers and the like at this time would still be a crime, and draw a lot of attention . Imogen in men’s clothing genuinely isn’t meant to be much of a gender thing but a thing of practicality, and she has mostly lived in the countryside or in the outskirts, so she does not get into the trouble she would should she go into the towns and cities (another reason to keep away past the potential noise, but this Imogen will happily don a dress or skirts if she needs to, she’s just usually working – and maybe it’s a bonus that dressing as a man acts as a sort of flagging for any women who might be interested lol.)
I guess here I should mention how I think this version of Imogen's powers and how they’ve manifested (along with everyone else being unaware of them) will have somewhat changed her disposition and personality, it is a lot more aligned with later campaign Imogen who has more confidence and empowerment, she hasn’t been ostracised for her abilities or particularly bombarded by them, think more like when she has her circlet on, she chooses to listen in (mostly), although of course she has still heard many terrible things (and her life has still been pretty brutal but that’s to be written still).
(it’ll be really fun in this regard getting to explore and explain this version of Laudna, but early days for giving much away on that yet!)
Her skirts are full and structured and plumed by many layers of petticoats that hide the movement of her feet across the wildflower lawn, causing her to appear to be drifting like the bees do from petal to petal, pollen dusting her pleats though ghostly her skin in contrast to the fine fabrics that she dresses for the part, black in mourning, still, bodice tight and sleeve leg of mutton, an ornate decorative layer of black lace laying over each yard of textured textile like spider webs on porcelain patterns, her husband's tableware collecting dust in the kitchen cupboard.
real impractical for how tending towards practical the Lady dares to be, hands on, too busy for errant hairs in piano key ivory and ebony windswept and loose from the high bun she pins in place with a cameo broach, a memento mori engraved in silver and inlayed with ruby eyes and tied with red ribbons. Her skin also proudly displays the age and perhaps trauma that her hair does, lines from laughter and furrowed brows and the feet of the crows that cry from the top of the chimney pots
A little note as to say that Laudna’s appearance is heavily influenced by Victorian mourning wear, with some of the clothes cuts altered to be a little bit more regency and earlier in places. (her attire is a little outdated, further suggesting her distancing from society and fashion)
A couple of days ago Imogen happened upon a bird with an injured wing, crying helplessly and rolling in circles, feathers taking flight away from the bird that could not, settling around it as it panicked itself bald-
The bird could not live without the use of its wing, and it didn’t, whether that was by Prosciutto or a fox, only its feathers were left in a pile.
Imogen had gathered them into an empty burlap sack; taken them to one of the maids downstairs to clean, repurpose them for filling pillows.
Here’s a silly little easter egg for my p(r)oof reader. Last time he visited we was enjoying a cinnamon roll from the local bakery by the city river (as you do) and a cyclist hit a seagull. It was real distressing, the seagull was distressed too. A handfull of middle aged women stood around it not wanting or knowing how to intervene as its wing was twisted at a crazy angle and it flapped about in a pile of its own feathers, there’s still bird flu about so it is wise to not touch wild birds, and as bleak as it is I was saying to freshy that a wild bird who’s wings broken like that is gonna die, and probably slowly and painfully. Some man came along and lifted up the bird to take the bird off the path and laid it to rest behind an old bridge building, I think he must have mercy killed it too as the bird was already dead when we walked past 10 or so minutes later after finishing our cinnamon roll and giving a cautious glance. So there’s a nice happy memory thrown in there for him.
what appears to be driftwood breaches the surface, then another point, then another
the water belches
Ceviche scares, whinnying as he rears onto his back legs, the Lady leaning forward and clinging to his harness. Imogen stands in her stirrups, leaning across the gap over to the black stallion, grasping his reins and cooing
“All good, boy, all good-”
What had appeared to be driftwood lands on the surface with a slap, looking like the carcass of an old boat left to rot in the muddy bed of a dock, timber ribcaged and leathered skin cladding.
A femur surfaces, followed by a jaw.
Second easter egg for the p(r)oof is a quick one (I’m such a considerate writer, I know.) On a train ride to a loch we went to for a day out there is a stop that is on another lake/body of water, and right by the train tracks (which are at water height) there are 4 or 5 old ships stuck in the mud, most of them just the frames/structures of the old boats, mostly wood and some bits of metal, but they’re pretty big boats! It really looks like whale carcasses. I’ve always wanted to get of there and check it out, and we were gonna stop by on the way back but my health being what it is was giving me some grief that day so we missed 2 trains and then soon the daylight, so hopefully next time buddy.
There’s alotta meat and gore talk and Imogen being a vegetarian without the label for such is just another way of me playing round with all of her complex feelings about what the Lady might be doing, her feelings towards Angharad butchering and nourishing the women with these communal stews and all of that. I’ve been vegetarian myself for 20 years now, and it was all triggered by an existential crisis in my mid teens (still a huge fan of leather and blood though) – Imogen greatly cares about animals, struggles with the thought of anything being slaughtered, she is in some ways more empathetic than most because she knows those she does on so much more of a personal level, really feels how someone is reacting to a situation they are in, but also because of this she knows humans are often corrupt and vile and she is spared such thoughts from animals, only knows their instincts and the love and comfort and service they bring – and yet she will obsess over the Lady’s (potential) tooling on that saddlework leather that’s really fucking brutal if she thinks about it one way and beautiful if she thinks about it another hmmm what if everything’s not black and white.
Oh, and the stew is a homage to @picturesofthegoneworlds’ pre-campaign fic Intertwined which I am lucky enough to co-parent and her writing is hugely influential on mine.
There’s a few things being bread crumb trailed here that I can’t explain in the author notes yet, but I’m looking forward to when I can. One small detail I will give away is just a silly thing about the chapter headings. They are something of significance from within the chapter, given in its ‘proper’ name – maybe someone gets access to some books to do research at some point?
anyways, thanks @astoriacolumnstaircase for enabling me. will do another post like this for future chapters if folks find it interesting.

“I’m sorry, I know I overreacted.”
Ty @hoodharlow for helping me 😘💕
AN: Baby Jack and Baby First Lady when they were in high school
Sighing to yourself, you looked over the notes that you had made to complete your assignment that you got paired with Ezra Hamilton for in your AP history class.
Getting home just an hour ago, the afternoon had been spent over his house after school had let out and during that time, Jack had been blowing up your phone attempting to apologize for how he reacted to the entire situation.
Ezra didn't like Jack and Jack didn't like Ezra.
Jack didn't like Ezra because he thought at one point he liked you and Jack quickly put a stop to it and ever since then, Ezra would avoid Jack at all costs. Even though it was hard seeing that they were both on the varsity soccer team.
Jack was voted team captain and only won by one vote.
Of course the person that had been trying to get the spot of captain was of course no one other than Ezra.
Because of how competitive they both were, it was always tit for tat while they were always trying to one up each other.
When you told Jack after lunch as he was walking you to your next class about the project, he immediately got an attitude with you. You did your best to keep calm, but when he kept complaining about you having to go over Ezra's house to do the project, you instantly walked away from him and ignored him for the rest of the day.
“I don't want you anywhere near him.”
“Will you relax? It's just one project and he's not as bad as you try to make him out to be. He's actually really nice.”
Hearing this, Jack immediately turned up his nose and rolled his eyes.
“Oh? So you two are best friends now?”
“Jackman, drop this and drop it now. It's not like I picked him to be my partner. Our teacher paired us up.”
“Tell her you need to switch.”
“Will you get a damn grip? What the hell do you have against him?”
“He's probably going to try and steal you from me and I can't have that. You're mine.”
Hearing this, you stopped walking and Jack quickly did the same thing. You were quiet as you stared at him trying not to go off and yell.
“I'm not a fucking object so stop talking about me like I am. Last time I checked I was YOUR girlfriend who has actual feelings and I only want YOU. But if you are going to continue to be jealous when another person even GLANCES my way, maybe we need to rethink that. Don't talk to me until you lose that damn attitude. I'm doing this project and going over Ezra's house after school so don't even bother waiting for me. Go to class before you make yourself late for the millionth time.”
“I… baby… wait a minute.” Jack started to say as he attempted to grab your hand, but you immediately moved it away.
“No. Bye.” Was all you said as you went and sat down in your next to last class of the day and Jack muttered a quiet ‘fuck’ under his breath before running a hand through his curly hair.
You stared at your phone once more as it rang and simply watched it until it stopped. Your feelings of being upset with Jack were still at the forefront of your mind, and the last thing you wanted to do was talk to him.
After taking a shower, putting on your pajamas and wrapping your hair in order to get ready for bed, you heard a knock on your window and couldn't help but to roll your eyes because you knew it was Jack.
Opening your curtains, you simply stared at him with narrowed eyes.
“Baby! Let me in!” Jack exclaimed, but it came out muffled because the window still wasn't open.
“No. Go away.”
“Please! I need to apologize to you. You've been ignoring me all day.”
As you opened your window, Jack tumbled inside as you sat on your bed with your arms crossed waiting for him to speak.
“Baby girl…”
“What?”
“I'm sorry, I know I overreacted. I just don't like him. I trust you, please know that. I know you wouldn't do anything to hurt our relationship. I was an asshole to you earlier.” Jack told you as he sat down next to you and kissed your cheek.
He was surprised that you didn't move away from him.
“How many times do I have to tell you that I only have eyes for you and only want you?”
“A million and one?” Jack shyly answered and you simply shook your head as you tried not to laugh.
“Too jealous for your own good.”
“So, how did everything go when you went to his house?”
“Oh, it was fine. We got a lot done. His mom made us snickerdoodles.”
All Jack did was look at you.
“Snickerdoodles are our thing and I know that my mom's cookies taste better.”
“Don't start. But I might have mentioned that they are my favorite.”
“So, you don't need to see him anymore unless we're in school, right? This was only a one time thing?”
“Babe, our project isn't finished.”
“Hmm, I can come and help speed up the process a little bit with my intimidating presence.”
All you did was stare at him with a blank look on your face.
“I can't believe that I actually take you seriously sometimes. You wouldn't hurt a fly.”
“I know, that's why we're a perfect match. You’ll beat someone's ass in a heartbeat.”
“I…. Jackman, I will throw you out the window.”
"See? My point exactly."

What happened that night at school?
Content: enemies to lovers, fluff/comfort, modern/high school au, fem reader, terror, geto being a good brother, gojo ends up traumatized, the story keeps getting darker
Word count: 15223
Author's note: it's my first post :D and english isn't my first language so sorry if there's any error in the grammar!
{Reader} is sitting on the classroom, listening to the history teacher while she says something about the agricultural revolution. Satoru, sitting right behind her is the heir of his family's company, a rich handsome boy who is new to the school. For what she heard from her brother, Satoru had always went to private elite schools, so he didn't have so much friends.
They're not close to each other by any means, but they've had interactions here and there because of Suguru, {reader's} brother and Satoru's friend. Satoru's a business major, but he decided to go to a public school just for the fun of it.
He takes a quick glance at {reader}, and sees how focused she looks.
"So... you free later?" he whispers to her with a small grin on his lips as he half pays attention to the professor.
You try to pay attention to class and ignore him.
"Not a talker, huh...?" He murmurs to himself. He leans a bit closer to you with a smirk and teases, "You're cute when you're so uptight."
You narrowed your eyebrows but keep paying attention to class, ignoring him one more time.
He grins, noticing that you are not talking but noticing your reaction, and says, "So cold... it's almost as if you hate me." He pokes your cheek with a finger, amused by your attitude.
"Stop it!"
Your scream fill the classroom and suddenly everyone, including the teacher, is looking at yours and Satoru's seat. Your cheeks turn into a dark red and Satoru seems shocked for a moment, but to your surprise he laughs gleefully.
"You're so damn loud."
The teacher pauses and looks over, shaking her head in disapproval. "Disturbing the class again... Mr. Gojo and Miss {Surname}... You two are going to get a detention due to your behavior during my class and for distracting the rest of your classmates. At the end of the day I want you here to clean this classroom. Understood? Now... What was I saying? Ah! The agricultural revolutions affected how people worked and got their food. The first caused people to grow crops and raise animals for food..."
As the teacher gets back to explaining the subject, you look back at Satoru, he grins, amused that he got you to yell out loud. He can't deny that he was happy to spend some time alone with you.
Satoru sighs after the class ends. He's slightly annoyed that he got detention, and yet he's also amused that *you* got detention as well. He looks at {reader} from the side and says with a smirk, "Looks like we're gonna be together for a while."
"You're a nightmare! You have many girls to bother! Why always me?"
He shrugs, unbothered by her words, and says, "You're different. You don't swoon over me like the other girls do, and I find it interesting." He grins and asks, "...You hate me that much, huh?"
"Oh so you're starting to get it... Finally..."
He smirks confidently, not bothered by your answer, "You don't drool at the sight of me, and you don't act like you're obsessed with my attention or my money. You also just said I was a headache. Not exactly the words someone would use if they were swooning over me."
You stayed in silence this time. It's true that you think that Satoru is annoying as hell, but you don't really hate him. In fact, you feel a little bad for him. He always has that arrogant and haughty attitude but he's a lonely boy. He has money. A lot of money. He was not raised by his parents, they were always busy at work, so they give Satoru whatever he wanted to try to cover the lack of love with expensive things. At all the private schools he went he was idolized by his intelligence, strength and good looks. This leaded to a spoiled rude boy who thinks that he can do anything. But he wasn't stupid, he knew that all the "friends" he had just were with him because of status. All the girls that were interested in him was because of his money, not because of him as a person. Satoru, when a kid, liked the attention, but as more he grew he started getting tired. So he decided to go to a public school to try to start again.
His first friend was Suguru, your brother. Those two couldn't be more different: Suguru (and you) came from a humble but amorous family, he's kind and caring, more emotional yet serious when it's needed. He likes to help the others and it's loved by everyone. On the other side, Satoru is more rational but tries to hide it with a nonchalant facade. He's boastful because of his past but really cares for the ones who he love.
Besides being this distinct, they got along very fast. Suguru invited Satoru to your house a few times and that was when Satoru started getting interest in you. Even if you don't like his attitude you can't deny he's very handsome... and attractive... and clever... and tall...
Satoru grins while you were lost in your thoughts, enjoying your silence, and leans back in his seat. He says with a cheeky smile, "You're blushing like crazy right now. Are you thinking of me princess?"
You woke up from your mental sleep, seeing that everyone was already gone, leaving just you and Satoru in the class, where the orange tones of the sunset came through the windows, creating a comfortable atmosphere. "I was not thinking of you..."
He laughs and says, "You were! Don't lie." He gently pries your hands away from your face with a smirk, wanting to see your embarrassed expression again.
"Step out! Stop harassing me!"
He grins even more. "Not until you admit you're blushing." He gently pins your wrists down so you can't try to cover your face again and leans closer with a sly smile.
"Satoru I told you to step out" you try to move away from him, just for him to come even closer.
He smirks at the sound of his name coming from your sweet voice and shakes his head, amused. "Nah." He leans closer until his face is only a few inches away. "I'm not stepping away until you admit you're blushing because of me."
Without any of you noticing, the history teacher entered the classroom to tell you where were the cleaning supplies. The teacher freezes at the sight, a shocked yet disapproving look on her face. She quickly clear her throat and say in a stern tone, "Mr. Gojo, step away from Miss {Surname} and sit in your own seat."
You and Satoru seat on your chairs as the teachers gives you a lecture about how do students should behave in class. She glances at you with a frown while explains how you must clean the room. "...mopping, wiping the desks and putting all the things back in place. Understood?"
"Understood." You say in chorus.
The teacher nods, satisfied with your response. "Good. I'll be in my office until 8PM. Call me if you need anything." The teacher leaves the classroom, leaving the two of you alone.
"Satoru, we need to get the cleaning supplies."
He sighs, getting up from his seat and stretches his arms above his head. "Alright, alright. I'll go get them." He looks at you, a cheeky grin plastered on his face. "You gonna watch me do all the work?"
"Yeah... I would like that. I did my nails yesterday, I don't want to ruin them." You tease him showing him your white nails.
He laughs and says, "Too bad. You're helping as well. No complaining." He walks out of the classroom to get the cleaning supplies, leaving you alone for a moment. When Satoru is coming back your phone begins to ring. He looks at you curious, "Who's calling?"
"Why do you want to know? It's none of your business." You said taking your phone from your backpack.
His eyes narrow slightly, and he responds with a slight glare, "It's not important. Just get the call." He tries to act nonchalant, but it's apparent he's bothered trying to read the name appearing on your phone.
You get out of the classroom answering the call. It's your brother.
Satoru watches as {reader} leaves the classroom to pick up the call and crosses his arms, a slight frown still present on his face. He can't help but try to eavesdrop on the conversation, even though he knows it's not his business.
"Hello?" you greet while you walk through the hallway looking at the sunset rays flooding the school courtyard through the large windows. Suguru's voice can be heard through the call. "Hey there, how are you doing? You're late." Suguru's classes ended 3 hours ago, so he must be home waiting for you, since your parents are out of town this week.
"Yeah... I'm fine, it's just that I might be late for dinner... You can eat without me. I got detention today..."
Suguru's voice sounds surprised yet amused. "Detention? I never would've pinned you for the type to get detention. Who'd you piss off?"
You laugh a little. "Who'd I piss off? You must be kidding... You know that friend of yours? The one who is always wearing sunglasses? What was his name?..." You act like you don't know Gojo Satoru damn well. Suguru's voice is laced with a hint of annoyance, but he chuckles. "Ah, you're talking about Satoru? What did he did to you? You know he is hard to ignore and he likes to tease you. What happened? Do I need to talk with him?" He seems to try to hide a laugh but he seems worried too.
You sigh. "When I get home I'll tell you everything. Now we have to clean the whole class... It's our punishment."
"What? You have to clean the classroom?! Let me guess... It was the history teacher that gave you detention. You know she has a cleaning compulsion..." Your brother laughs a bit before getting serious again, "And you get to clean up because of Satoru? I'm going to talk with him, so he stops bothering you. I know that you don't like him that much but... Try to be nice... Even if he's a hard person to live with... He's a good guy." Suguru seems more annoyed and sighs again, "I swear that guy is such a damn troublemaker..."
"Oh if you'll go talk to him tell him to stop flirting and bothering me in class..." You say, tired of having Satoru behind you in class. He often tries to talk with you and throws rubbers when you don't answer him. If that doesn't work too he would kick your chair. You have already tried to change places but nobody wants to be in front of Satoru, so you stayed in the same place.
Suguru goes quiet for a moment, processing the information, and then he exclaims in disbelief. "Wait, what? He was flirting with YOU?!? How the hell did that happen? He knows you're my sister! I'm going to have a serious conversation with him tomorrow..."
"Suguru I have to go now... We can talk latter, I want to do this quick so I can go home. When I end up cleaning I'll call you." Your brother had always been protective over you so his tone doesn't scare you. You wait for a moment before his response.
"Alright, alright. Call me when you're done. And be careful around Satoru. Stay away from him. He's a charmer and he knows how to use his charm to get what he wants."
You let out a giggle, imagining your brother's face. "Okay okay I'll be careful... He might bite me", you joke a little since Suguru is now being overprotective, "I'll be home in less than 2 hours, anything is going to happend. Bye, I love you!" Suguru's voice seems to smile: "Love you too, see you latter".
The call ends, and Satoru, who overheard everything, raises an eyebrow, a slight frown on his face, "So, you have a boyfriend, huh?"
"None of your business." you said getting into the classroom again, leaving the long silent corridor behind.
His smirk returns, and he leans against the wall, his arms crossed. "Oh, it is my concern. I'm interested in you, and finding out there's a boyfriend involved is definitely relevant information for me."
"And if I have would you stop bothering me?" He laughs and says: "Of course not. A boyfriend might make things a bit more complex, but it won't stop me from pursuing you."
You stop when you heard his words and look at him in shock. He looks at you and finally says, "...Don't worry... I was just kidding... You know, if you have a boyfriend I respect that..." He seems sad now. His smirk disappeard and now he has a grimace on his face. You feel a little bad.
"It was not my boyfriend. It was my brother..."
He pauses mid-step, surprise flickering across his face. He blinks once, then bursts out laughing. "Your brother? Suguru? Seriously? I thought you had a boyfriend! I was getting worried!"
You sigh, "I don't have a boyfriend at the moment..."
His laughter subsides, and he grins, his arrogance returning. "Well, that makes things a lot easier for me then." He stands closer, towering over you and looks down with a smirk. He's much taller.
"Get of me. Go find another girl to bother."
He laughs mockingly and leans in closer, his smirk widening. "And why would I do that? You're the one who's caught my attention, and I don't give up on what I want easily. But now that you said that I admit that I can easily get any girl I want."
Is he trying to make you jealous? Probably... But you can handle the provocation, after all you know you to tease too.
"You're such a virgin... That's why you keep chasing me, no girl wants a guy too full of himself like you."
His smirk falters for a moment, and a hint of annoyance crosses his face. "What did you just call me?"
"A virgin. That's what you are. You can even talk to a girl properly without shaking."
He scowls, his irritation growing, and pins you against the wall, trapping you between his arms. "You think you know everything about me, huh? Think I can't talk to girls? I can talk to girls just fine, thank you."
"Not what it seems, everyone in our class seems to hate you because of that atitude." When he heard this his expression darkens, and he grips your wrists tighter.
"They hate me because they're jealous. They can't handle the fact that I'm rich, smart, and handsome. But what do you know about me anyway? You don't know anything." Wrong, you know Gojo Satoru better than he thinks because of his best friend who is also your brother.
"And I don't need too know much to see that you are nothing more than a spoiled brat that have parents with money, nothing more!" You didn't mean to say this, but your argument seem more serious now, even if it started just by teasing each other.
He sneers and presses against you more, his eyes narrowing. "You have no clue. I've got more to offer than just money. Way more. I'm confident, talented, charismatic, and damn good at what I do. You just haven't seen my true potential yet."
"If you have that much talent clean the fucking classroom!" You scream to him trying to get out of his grip. He grins arrogantly.
"So bossy. You really think you have the authority to order me around, huh? You're just a little insect compared to me." You try to push him away one more time and you succeeded.
"You know what? I'm going home! I'm in detention because of you! You must deal with this alone! Clean this fucking classroom by yourself!" He stumbles back a bit but regains his footing quickly.
"Hey, hey, where do you think you're going? We're not done here yet."
"It's your fault that we're here!" You yell again.
He scowls and steps forward, closing the distance between you and says: "My fault? You're the one who got caught for not paying attention in class. You're just as responsible as I am."
You don't want to fight anymore. And you have to admit that it was your fault too. You have to clean the classroom as much as Satoru.
"Sorry... Let's just... Forget this fight and start cleaning... After we clean the class we can ignore each other and act like nothing had happened." You said while you pick up a cloth and start wiping the desks.
His smirk returns, and he crosses his arms. "You think it's gonna be that easy? I said I was interested in you, and I meant it. This won't be the last time we see each other, sweetheart."
You didn't answer. Even though you want to deny it, you have a little crush on Satoru. Even with that attitude. But does he feels the same? Or is this just a game for him? Are you just another girl on his list? Or he just want to tease Suguru flirting with his younger sister? You were lost in your thoughts again.
"Did the cat got your tongue?" Satoru asked, noticing your mood change, while he grabbed a mop and starts mopping the floor.
"Like... Are you really into me? Or just on my looks? Or just..." He interrupted you.
"I'd be lying if I said your looks didn't catch my attention initially, but there's more to it than that. Your sharp wit and feisty attitude intrigue me just as much as your looks." He chuckles softly and looks at you.
You didn't say anything. He stops mopping and leans against the mop handle, studying your expression: "You seem surprised. Did you really think I was only interested in you for your looks or something? Trust me, I've met plenty of beautiful girls before, but none of them have captivated me like you have."
You throw a cloth on him. "Than stop calling other girls beautiful! That's not a complement when you call other girls pretty! You men are mindless..." You said this but inside you were happy. Really happy. After all he really likes you, you're not just a toy for him to play.
He blinks in surprise as the cloth hits him straight on the face, but then he laughs and peels it off. "Hey, hey! Calm down. I didn't mean it like that. Fine... I won't call other girls beautiful. You're the only beautiful girl to me."
You look at him trying to stay serious but you let out a little giggle. Suguru was right. He's quite charming.
"{Reader}, I don't want to argue with you anymore, I really like you. I've never met a girl like you. You're smart, feisty, sarcastic, and not afraid to put me in my place. I find all of those traits really attractive. I know that Im hard to deal with but I don't want to hurt your feelings you know... I genuinely like you..." He admits while he takes a step in your direction, leaving the mop where he was cleaning. It's the first time that he uses your name and not some stupid nickname.
You look down. Your heart is beating fast. This is the first time that someone confessed their love for you and you don't know how to act. You have a crush on Satoru but you are not ready to have a relationship yet. You have to know him better, spend more time with him. "Satoru... I like you, but not at the point to date you already, we must spend more time together so I can be sure about my feelings..."
He reaches out and gently lifts your chin up, meeting your gaze. "I get that. I'm not expecting you to agree to go out with me right this moment. I understand that you want to know more about me first... But give me a chance, alright? Let me prove that I'm not just a spoiled rich kid with a charming smile. I'm more than that."
You look at him and smiled, "Thank you." He grins and tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
"I'll be good. Now that you know that I like you I have no need of bothering you that much, I was trying to get your attention you know. And you have my word, no more complimenting other girls. I'll save all my compliments for you, sweetheart. You're the only one I have eyes for. Happy now?"
"Happy." You let out a genuine smile.
He grins and ruffles your hair affectionately. "Good. I like knowing that I've made you happy. That's a start, right?"
"Yeah... Just one more thing. I don't want my brother to know about us." He frowns and raises an eyebrow.
"Suguru can't know? Well... He doesn't know that I like you... At least I think so... But I had to tell him at any moment. Why can't he know? Is he gonna go all protective older brother on me or something?"
"Well, I told him that you flirted with me while we were on the call and he almost got crazy." He scoffs and rolls his eyes.
"Oh, please. I'm not afraid of him. I can take a few hits. Besides, I'm not gonna let some overprotective brother stop me from pursuing you." You laugh a little.
"So you're saying that if it's necessary you would fight Suguru for me? You know he's strong right?" You teased him a little. He grins confidently and puffs out his chest.
"Of course I'd fight for you. If it came down to it, I'd take on your brother in a heartbeat. I'm not afraid of a few punches. Besides, I'm not weak myself. I'm pretty strong too, you know."
You laugh again. "Yeah yeah I get it you're strong... But seriously, don't tell him by now."
He smirks and flexes his muscles jokingly, "What, you don't believe me? I'll have you know I work out, sweetheart. I may have a pretty face, but I can also throw a punch. Suguru won't stand a chance against me."
"You're really tall, I can confirm that... But you seem too skinny." You continue teasing Satoru.
He pretends to be offended and scoffs, "Skinny, huh? You wound me, sweetheart. You don't think I have muscles under this shirt? I'll have you know, I have muscles in all the right places."
You laugh once more. "You're funnier than I expected!"
He grins and flexes his arm jokingly. "What can I say? I'm a package deal - good looks, charm, and a sense of humor. A little slice of heaven, if you will."
"You've repeated that like 5 times today. I know that you have a high self-esteem but that's too much." You replied, throwing another cloth at him.
It was already night when you finished cleaning the classroom. You talked about everything and got some fun while cleaning. The class was finally shining.
"Okay, it's done! We can go home now."
Satoru looks around and smirks. "Finally, we're done. That took way longer than it should have." He grabs his bag and slings it over his shoulder before offering you his hand, "Ready to head out, princess?"
"Yes! It's already night and I'm hungry." You accepted his hand while you putted your other hand on your belly.
He chuckles and leads you out of the classroom: "Of course you're hungry. Well, lucky for you, I know a great place we can go to grab a bite. My treat, of course."
You gave him a sad smile, "I would like to go with you, but I told Suguru that I was going home when I got out of school..."
He feigns disappointment and pouts dramatically. "Aww, that's a shame. I was looking forward to spending some more time with you, baby. But I suppose family comes first. Next time, then." You look at him without saying anything, just pouting, and he gave you a reassuring smile: "Hey, it's alright. I understand. Like I said, family comes first. But promise me, next time you're free, we'll go out together. Just the two of us. No older brothers interrupting us."
"I promise." You smile.
As you and Satoru went to the school gate, it was already closed. Satoru tried to open it with his strength but it didn't work. His hands were in a dark tone of red now, a little scratched with some blood as he tried to force the gate before.
"What are we gonna do now? I've tried but it didn't open... And it's too high for just two people climb..." Satoru says.
"I don't want to get locked all night in school!" You replied. You were hungry and tired. All the cleaning thing tooked like 2 hours, you and Satoru were exhausted.
He looks around the empty grounds of the school and sighs in frustration. "Neither do I. This is a pain in the ass. What are we supposed to do now?"
"Well... I think we have to wait till morning... Someone has to open the gate for us to get out." You sigh as you respond Satoru.
He groans and leans back against the wall, "Great. Just great. So we're stuck here for the whole night, huh?"
"Yeah... Where do you want to go... Maybe the canteen has some food...? I'm hungry..."
He rubs the back of his neck and sighs, "The canteen's probably our best bet. Let's check it out and see if we can find something to snack on while we're stuck here."
You two were on your way to the school canteen. It was dark... Really dark. All the lights were off, just Satoru's phone flashlight illuminatting the path. Since it's late at night you start getting cold. The wind was hitting the trees and bushes and they were both swaying. It was possible to hear what seemed to be animals walking through the gardens.
As you walked you decided to call your brother to warn him that you were not coming back home that night. Suguru answers after a few rings: "Hey, what's up? You're calling pretty late. Are you coming home?"
You tell suguru what happened. After a minute he answer: "So you're locked in school with satoru? And you are gonna be there all night?"
"Yes..."
Suguru sighs and sounds annoyed, "I can't believe this... You're stuck in school all night with that punk... I don't like it. Why did you two take so long to clean a fucking classroom?!"
"Suguru calm down! We're going to be fine... There's food in the canteen, there are many restrooms, and we can stay inside a classroom or something to get warm. When the gatekeeper arrives we'll get out."
You heard Suguru sighing, "Ok, ok... Be careful and try to eat something... And tell Satoru to keep his hands to himself and to not try to do something funny or I'll break every bone in his body. Understood?"
"Understood..." Your brother is reminding you of your history teacher when she was yelling at you and Satoru. You say goodbye to him as you arrive the canteen, turning the lights on.
"Was big bro concerned about his baby sister?" Satoru speaks after minutes in silence due to your call.
"He's just... Too protective sometimes... He's always been like that."
Satoru grins, "Yeah, he definitely seems like the protective type. I can't say I blame him though. You're pretty easy to look at." He teases you with a smirk. "Aw, come on, no need to blush. I'm just calling it like I see it. You're beautiful, sweetheart."
You let out a shy smile as you two explore the canteen, you eat at school sometimes but you haven't entered into the kitchen zone. It was all tidy and clean, without any living soul or noise.
"Alright, so this is the kitchen. Doesn't look like there's much left to eat, though. I guess we'll have to make do with whatever we can find."
"After we eat our food where do want to spend the night?"
Satoru thinks for a moment before responding, "Hmm... that's a good question. Maybe the gym? It might be a bit cold, but at least there's plenty of space, and we can use the exercise equipment as makeshift beds to get comfortable."
"Good idea! You're intelligent when you want to be, you know?" You tease him a little.
"Oh, so you're finally admitting that I have brain after all? I thought you thought I was just a pretty face."
"Hum...Not even a pretty face... Just a wealthy boy."
Satoru feigns offense and dramatically gasps, "Oh, you wound me with your harsh words! I'm not just a rich boy. I'm also ridiculously handsome, charming, and strong."
You laugh because of how repetitive Satoru can be, "Oh, so can the rich handsome strong amazing boy cook?"
He responds confidently, "Of course I can cook. As I said, I'm a man of many talents, and cooking happens to be one of them. Why? You want me to make you a five-star gourmet meal with only a few random ingredients we can find in the canteen?"
You laugh again before answering, "Not a five start gourmet meal, but just something edible."
The boy scratches his cheek, "Heh, well, I can at least promise you something edible. I can whip up something simple like pasta or a sandwich with whatever we can find here."
"All right! You cook, i seat here and watch!"
Satoru rolls his eyes playfully and responds sarcastically, "Great, so I'll be the chef while you sit back and relax. Just don't complain when it doesn't come out looking like a work of art, okay?"
"Okay okay... Can you do me scrambled eggs chef?"
"I got it, your highness. Scrambled eggs comin' right up. Just sit back and watch the chef work his magic."
He then starts searching for all the ingredients, organizing the kitchen as you sit in a chair near him. You stay there a few minutes watching Satoru before your bladder begged you to empty it. You told Satoru that you were going to the restroom really quick. He waved at you and you went out of the canteen.
You finished your business in the restroom and exit the cabin to wash your hands. The sink is clean and the water runs clear. You look at yourself in the mirror, taking a moment to freshen yourself up before heading back out to the canteen. The restroom was clean and well-lit. The cabins doors were all closed, and there's no sign of anyone else inside. The only sounds are the usual hum of the fluorescent lights and the distant sound of dripping water from one of the pipes. As you leave the restroom and start walking through the corridor that leads to the canteen area.
The corridors of this school are really big and have large windows so everyone can see all the school thanks to them. You look through that big windows. It's night and dark. No one is at school at this hour, just you and Satoru. The atmosphere is strangely quiet, without students shouting in the hallways, teachers screaming at them or any other school staff talking to each other. You keep walking still looking through the windows. And you saw it. The music classroom.
You freeze.
You just can't move or look away.
You pause as you notice the light emitting from the music classroom at the other building of the school. There's a faint glow, and the sound of a piano playing can be heard gently wafting from inside.
You must be dreaming.
You need to be dreaming.
The rumors about that class come rushing into your mind. Many students say that classroom is haunted by a ghost of a professor that died 40 years ago there. The causes of death are unknown, but it is said that he was a music teacher, he didn't notice that he died, so he continued to go to the room to give his piano lessons. You've heard many rumors from your friends, students reported hearings piano sounds when nobody was inside the room, others claim to hear a man singing and other even say that they have seen the ghost. At night everyone says that the spirit of that professor plays the piano all night, his favourite song.
The same that you were hearing right at this moment.
You went pale and you feel your knees giving up. You couldn't move.
After what seemed hours looking at that classroom you gain control of your body and run back to the canteen where Satoru was waiting for you.
He is still busy cooking the eggs, his back facing you as he stands over the stove, stirring the scrambled eggs in the pan. He heard you coming into the kitchen and looked over his shoulder, smiling as he sees you return, "Ah, there you are. Just in time. The eggs are almost ready."
You rush to hug him desesperated, still very pale. Satoru is caught off guard by your sudden hug. He can sense that something is wrong, "Hey, hey. What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost or something..."
You went even more pale after he said that. He frowns, noticing your paleness growing even more, "Hey, seriously, what's going on? You're looking really pale right now. Did something happen while you were gone?"
"Satoru..." You clutched his clothes even harder and tried to hide your face into his chest. His expression softens as he sees how distressed you are. He sets the pan down on the stove and wraps his arms around you, holding you close and stroking your hair gently.
"Calm down, it's okay. You can tell me. What's got you so frightened? "
"Let's eat first... I'll tell you when we finished eating..." You couldn't tell him right now, you need to calm now first. You couldn't even talk properly.
Satoru nods in understanding and releases his embrace but keeps one arm around your waist, "Alright, let's eat first. But you have to promise me you'll tell me what's going on once we're done eating. Deal?"
"Deal..."
The boy smiles reassuringly and gives your waist a gentle squeeze before returning to the stove to finish cooking the eggs. "Okay then. Let me just finish up these eggs real quick, and then we can sit down and eat. You gonna be okay for a bit longer?"
"Yeah... Just don't leave me alone..."
He nods, acknowledging your need for reassurance, "Don't worry, I won't leave your side. Just give me a moment to plate up these eggs, and then you can cling to me as much as you want, okay? You can sit by now."
He puts the eggs on a plate for you eat and you two sit next to each other. You were calmer but still afraid. After a few minutes you told him everything, the light, the music, the rumours. Satoru listens intently as you recount your experience in the corridor, his expression growing more and more serious. When you finished, he let out a sigh and putted down his fork, "Damn, so you actually saw something that confirms those rumors. I've always thought it was just an urban legend... You say the light was coming from the music room and you heard piano music?"
You nod and tell him that you don't want to get close to that class. You were planning on spending the night on the gym, and to go there you need to pass near the music classroom. He agrees, understanding your trepidation, "I can understand why you're frightened. Seeing something like that can really shake you up. We don't have to go anywhere near that class if you don't want to. We can just eat here in the canteen and then find somewhere else to spend the night. We could spend here but it's too cold and the food smell it's too strong."
"...Satoru... Be honest... Do you believe me?"
He looks at you, his expression serious and considerate, "Of course I believe you. You're not the kind of person to make up stories or jump at shadows. If you say you saw a light on and heard the piano music, then I trust that you did. Besides, there have been other reports of people experiencing similar things in that class before, remember? You're probably not the only one who saw something."
"...What do we do now?"
Satoru takes a moment to consider your options before responding, "Well, we have a two options. We could either go to the gym, which would mean passing by that class, or we could try to find a different room to spend the night in, like one of the classrooms. Neither option is ideal, but we have to make do with what we got."
He tooks a glance at you and sees that you were still pale and shaking a little, so he continues: "But if you don't want to go near to the music class we must spend the night in other place. We'll find somewhere cozy and safe. Don't worry, you are not alone, I'm here with you, and remember, I got to protect you no matter what, or Suguru would break all my bones"
He winks at you playfully and you let out a small smile because he was trying to make you laugh.
"Thank you Toru."
You give him a side hug and he wraps his arms around you and hugs you back tightly, his chin resting on the top of your head. His voice is soft and comforting, "You're welcome, {Reader}. I won't let anything harm you, I promise. Just focus on relaxing and eating, okay? We'll figure everything out together."
Satoru releases the hug but keep one arm around your shoulders, drawing you closer to his chest. "Now, come on. You need to finish your food. You're probably feeling shaken up, but you gotta keep your strength up. Eat a little bit more, alright? Just a few more bites, for me." You eat the rest of your food while he waits.
Satoru grins and gives your shoulder a gentle squeeze, "That's the spirit! See, you're already feeling a bit better after eating. That's good. Now, let's go find a room to stay in for the night. Are you good to walk or do you want me to carry you?"
"Would you carry me if I ask?" You giggle a little, trying to forget that image in your head.
He laughs at your question. "Of course, I will! Just say the word, and I'll carry you wherever you want. No need to trouble yourself with walking. I'll princess carry you if that's what you want."
Satoru starts walking out of the canteen, holding you in his arms like a princess. "We're heading to one of the empty classrooms. It'll be cleaner and more comfortable than staying here in the canteen. And it won't be near that haunted class at all."
You were happy that he didn't force you to go to the gym, but still worried when you thought about something: "But we have to pass through the corridor that have a window with a view of that class..."
Satoru nods, his expression becoming a little more serious, "Yeah, we do have to pass by the corridor, but I'll make sure you don't look out that window at the class. Just focus on me, okay? And if you start feeling uncomfortable, just bury your face in my chest and cling to me as tight as you want. I won't let anything happen to you."
You do what he said, you cling into him as your help depends on it. He holds you against his chest like a precious treasure, his arms securing you tightly. He walks down the corridor carefully, shielding you from any potential sight of the class. His body feels warm and solid against yours, and his scent is comforting as he keeps you close, "Don't look out that window. Just keep your face on my chest. We're almost there, you're doing great. Just a little bit more, alright?"
Satoru continues walking through the corridor, keeping you tucked securely in his arms. The sound of his footsteps and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat help to soothe your nerves. As you finally reach the end of the corridor, Satoru lets out a small sigh of relief.
"We made it. See, we're fine. That wasn't so bad, was it?"
"...Did you saw it?"
Satoru shakes his head. "No, I didn't see anything. I'm focused on you and you only. I didn't look at the class even once. You can trust me on that. "
"Thank you... Really."
"No need to thank me, I'm just looking out for you. You're safe with me. And once we get to the classroom, you can rest easy and forget all about that creepy class. Just a little bit further, and we're there. Just hang in there a bit longer, alright?"
You keep walking until you finally reach an empty classroom. The boy carefully places you down on your feet, opening the door and flicking on the lights. He then shuts the door behind himself, making sure it's locked.
"We made it. Finally somewhere safe and comfortable, without any spooky music classes nearby."
Satoru takes a moment to look around the classroom, making sure everything is secure. Seeing that everything's in order, he turns his attention back to you.
"Alright, we're good here. You can relax now. No windows, no haunted classes. Just you and me in this room."
You nod at him, thanking him again, "Do you have your phone with you? What time is it?"
Satoru nods and reaches into his pocket, pulling out his phone. He quickly checks the time, "Yeah, I've got my phone. The time is..." He brings the phone closer to his face, checking the digital display. "... 11:47PM. Geez, it's already that late."
"And we have to wait until 6AM, that's when the school staff arrives to open the gates." You add.
Satoru lets out a sigh and runs a hand through his hair. "Yeah, we have a long night ahead of us. We need to stay here in this classroom until someone comes in the morning. That means about 6 more hours..."
"Do you want to sleep?"
"Nah, I'm not tired just yet. Plus, I want to make sure you're alright. You've had quite an eventful night, huh?"
"...You're right... I'm exhausted but even if I want to I just can't sleep... I need do distract myself from that... thing... What do you want to do?"
"Well if you want to be awake we could play a game... Like truth or dare. We can get to know each other better and you'll distract yourself. What so you say?"
"Yes... That's a great idea." You liked his idea. Really. But you just can't get that music out of your head. You can't stay safe knowing that something or someone is with you at this school. Satoru is trying to cheer you up, so you force a smile while you sit in two chairs at the back of the class.
"Great! Let's start then. Since I suggested the game, you get to go first. Truth or dare?"
"Truth."
He smirks, thinking of a good question, "Okay, truth question... hmm, let me think... Oh! I got one! Did you ever dated someone? Like, did you have a boyfriend?"
You are surprised by his question. But you remembered what he said moments ago, with this game you can get to know each other better, so you finally answered, "No. Like... I never had a boyfriend before."
He raises an eyebrow, a hint of disbelief in his expression: "You're serious? You're saying you've never dated or had any experiences either?"
"No... There were a few boys that were interested in me... But Suguru won't let them get close. And if im being honest im not that concerned about relationships or anything, we're im high school, we're young. We have a whole life to experience that things. Now we need to focus on other things you know? But as I told you, even if I wanted to date anyone, Suguru would probably scare them away..."
"Ah, now it all makes sense. No wonder you're so untouchable. I guess your brother kept any potential boyfriends away, huh." He says jokingly, "So never dated before? Guess were in the same boat..."
"What do you mean? The great Gojo Satoru never had a girlfriend? Really?"
"I know it's hard to believe... But all the girls that were into me were more interested in my money or my family status, so I never had nothing serious."
His face flushes with embarrassement and he looks away. You laugh a little at his shyness, "Don't need to be shy! So were both inexperienced..."
"Okay okay..." He quickly changes the subject to hide his red cheeks, "Your turn to ask me."
"Truth or dare?"
Satoru grins and leans back against the wall, his cocky behavior coming back, "Dare! Hit me with your best shot. I'm not afraid."
You think for a bit. Even if Satoru is trying to make you feel happier and comfortable you're still frightenedd because of the music classroom. You can't take that moment from your mind, you were paralyzed, looking at the class while you heard a low sound of a piano playing. You can't stay here 6 entire hours at the dark while something is at school too. You tried to be more rational... It could be a person. Yeah... A person... Someone who stayed inside of the school like you and Satoru, maybe someone from the school staff or a student... Maybe even the current music teacher. It can't be a ghost or a spirit... Right? You were lost in your thoughts when Satoru called for you. After a few seconds you answered.
"Well... I'm gonna be honest. I'm still with that classroom in mind... Why don't you go check that it? You don't even need to enter, just get close and see if it's someone there."
The white haired boy raises an eyebrow at your dare and looks at you with a mix of amusement and curiosity, "You want me to go near that haunted classroom? Are you sure about this, princess?"
"Toru I'm still afraid, I need to confirm that's nothing wrong there... And you are not afraid as I am..."
Satoru studies your face, seeing the genuine fear in your eyes. He takes a deep breath and nods, "Alright, if it'll help put your mind at ease, I'll do it. Stay here. But if anything happens, scream and I'll be right there, okay?"
"Thank you. Go with your phone and if anything hapends call me, okay?" You give him a small but genuine smile, grabbing his hand to encourage him.
He nods, pulling out his phone and holding it in his hand, "Don't worry, I'll have my phone ready. Stay right here, princess. You're safe, I promise."
Satoru takes a deep breath, turns the knob, and slowly opens the music classroom door. The student slowly steps into the classroom, holding his phone as a makeshift flashlight. The room is eerily silent, and the air is cold. He glances around, trying to spot anything out of the ordinary... His eyes scan the space carefully, looking for any signs of movement or anything unnerving. The room seems deserted, but the dark shadows in the corners play tricks on his eyes, making him feel slightly uneasy. He takes a few more steps into the room, his phone flashlight illuminating the space in front of him.
Satoru continues exploring the classroom, his footsteps echoing in the empty area. He checks behind desks, peeks into supply closets, and surveys the entire room. He tries to keep his cool, but the eerie silence and darkness start to get under his skin. His heart rate picks up a bit as he continues to search the room. He checks every nook and cranny, searching for any sign of a ghost or anything out of the ordinary. The silence is deafening, and every sound he makes seems amplified in the empty space. As he turns to check behind the last row of desks, he suddenly hears a soft shuffling noise coming from the other side of the room.
He freezes immediately upon hearing the sound. His eyes widen, and his heart starts beating faster. He grips his phone tighter, the dim light trembling in his hand. He slowly and quietly turns in the direction of the noise, trying to pinpoint its location. The sound grows louder, a soft shuffling noise coming from the corner of the classroom. Satoru cautiously approaches the area, his mind racing with possibilities. He tries to keep his breathing steady as he shines his phone flashlight into the dark corner, bracing himself for what he might see.
As the boy approaches the pile of boxes, he can sense that something is off. The shuffling noise seems to be coming from directly behind the boxes. His hands shake slightly as he slowly moves the phone's light back and forth between the boxes, trying to see what's hiding behind them. The shadows dance around him, and he can't shake off the feeling that he's being watched. He takes a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves, then reaches out with a trembling hand and pushes the boxes aside, revealing... nothing.
The corner is empty, with just a few cobwebs and dust bunnies remaining. The shuffling noise suddenly cuts off, and Satoru's heart beats wildly in his chest as he stares into the dimly lit space.
Satoru stands there, frozen in place, his heart still racing. He shines his phone flashlight into the corner once more, just to make sure. The empty space seems almost mocking, with no signs of any creature or ghost. He takes a few deep breaths, trying to calm his racing heart. Was it his imagination? Just the wind playing tricks on him? No, the windows were closed... Or was something there, hiding just out of sight?
He waits a moment, hoping the shuffling noise doesn't start up again. When everything stays quiet, he slowly backs away from the corner, his eyes still locked on the empty space. He takes a deep breath and finally tears his gaze away, trying to shake off the unease that he felt. He turns away from the corner and slowly makes his way to the classroom door, ready to leave that unsettling place behind.
Satoru walks out of the classroom and closes the door behind him, relieved to be out of that eerie space. He stands there for a moment, leaning against the door, and tries to catch his breath. The adrenaline from the experience slowly fades, and he realizes how tense he was. He takes a final deep breath and walks back toward you, a slight tremble in his step. As he approaches you, he forces a small smile, trying to hide the lingering unease he feels. He stops in front of you, pocketing his phone in his jeans, and shrugs slightly.
"Well.. good news, there's nothing wrong with that classroom... You were just imagining things. You are exhausted... You could have imagined it. Your subconscious may have associated the rumors at the music classroom and created an audiovisual effect on your mind."
"Really? So the light and the sounds?... It's true that I'm tired... You must be right."
"Yeah. There's nothing there. I checked the whole place, no sign of any ghost or even a person, whatever. The lights were off and the the cover that protects the piano keys was closed. We're safe."
Satoru was still trying to maintain his composure. He runs a hand through his hair, trying to dismiss your concerns. He heard something. He knows that something is wrong with that place. But he didn't want you to be scared.
"Thank god!" You get up and hug him, "You're my hero!" Finally you can rest. You don't need to be suspicious about a spirit of a dead professor.
Satoru smiles as you hug him, his arms wrapping around you instinctively. He laughs at your words and shakes his head, "Hey, no need to be dramatic. I just checked a dusty classroom, not saved the world or anything."
"You saved me! I was really worried... Now I know nothing is wrong with that class! Thank you!" He grins, enjoying the way you're clinging to him and leans down a bit and gently pats your head.
"You're welcome, princess. You don't have to worry about that classroom anymore. It's just a typical, boring classroom with nothing exciting going on." You laugh a little, you much happier and chill now.
"Yeah... So what do you want to do now?"
Satoru pretends to think for a moment before a mischievous grin spreads across his face, "Hmm, I can think of a few things we can do while it's just the two of us here in a completely deserted school..."
"You perv! We're not doing anything! Suguru would kill you!" You hit his arm jokingly. The boy laughs heartily and steps closer to you, still holding you in his arms. He raises an eyebrow and grins, "Hey, I didn't say anything perverted. But you're right, Suguru would probably kill me if he found out I did anything inappropriate with you. He's so overprotective sometimes..."
You laugh more, before saying, "Now that we know there's no ghost do you want to go to the gym? We can sleep there, we need to rest, and it's comfy, we have to pass through that class, but you checked so we're gonna be fine!" You smiled at him, not noticing that his eyes widened. Satoru considers your suggestion for a moment, weighing the options. He didn't want to go, but you needed to rest and he didn't want to scare you. He glances in the direction of the haunted classroom and then returns his gaze to you, "Hmm, the gym, huh? That doesn't sound bad. And yeah, I checked that classroom already, so we're good to go. Just, uh... stick close to me, okay?... Just in case."
"All right hero... Let's go!" Satoru grins at your nickname for him and tightens his arm around your waist, gently guiding you towards hallway. He keeps a close eye on you, making sure you're feeling safe and comfortable, even though he's the one who's shaking now, "Alright, princess. Let's make our way to the gym and settle in for the night. And don't worry, I'm the hero now, remember? I'll protect you from anything."
You start on your way to the gym, which is located at the back of the school, surrounded by tall large trees. The night is calm, silence settles throughout the school, with only the sound of the wind ruffling the leaves of the trees. Your crush walks alongside you, his arm still around your waist. He looks around the deserted school, taking note of the eerie silence. When you approach the last corridor you have to go through to get to the gym, the hallway of the music room, Satoru looks at you and tries to smile, "Almost there. Just a few more steps, and we'll be at the gym. Are you doing okay? Not too spooked out by this whole situation?"
"Not anymore. You checked. I trust you." You're not lying. You're a lot calmer now. If he told that wasn't anything there, you believe him, there was no reason to be afraid of silly rumours. But Satoru's sure there's something strange happening in this school. After all he heard it. In front of him.
As you both pass by the classroom where the strange shuffling sounds came from earlier, Satoru can't help but feel a pang of unease. He tries to brush it off, telling himself that he already checked the place and there's nothing there. But some lingering doubts remain in his mind, "Yeah, I checked and found nothing... Just an empty classroom... no need to worry." He continues to walk, but his pace is a bit slower now as he grapples with the nagging feeling in his gut. He keeps his arm protectively around your waist, pulling you closer to him. He tries to hide his unease, not wanting to worry you, "We're almost there... just a few more steps to the gym."
As you both finally arrive at the gym, Satoru releases a breath he didn't realize he was holding. The gym's welcoming atmosphere contrasts sharply with the unsettling feeling in his gut. He glances over at you, hoping you didn't notice his momentary discomfort.
"Ah, finally here. The gym is always a good spot to unwind and relax."
"Yeah. I'll go find the blankets or something that can keep us warm, you close the door."
Satoru nods and watches as you head off to find the blankets. He takes a moment to gather his thoughts and try to shake off the lingering unease from earlier. He walks over to the gymnasium's entrance and closes the door, securing it. He takes a final breath before turning back to look around the spacious room. The white hair boy looks around the gym, taking in the familiar surroundings. The familiar sight of basketball hoops and gym equipment brings a small sense of comfort. He walks over to where you are and notices you searching for blankets.
"Having any luck finding those blankets, princess?"
"I found one! We can share."
Satoru grins at your discovery and smirks, "Oh really? Just one, huh? I guess we'll have to share then. I hope you don't mind getting cozy with me under the same blanket."
"Pufff don't think anything stupid." He feigns innocence, putting on an exaggerated shocked expression, "Me? Thinking of something stupid? Perish the thought. I was just thinking about having a nice, friendly snuggle under a blanket. Nothing more, I swear."
You smile at him, "We're just cuddling you stupid." Satoru's grin widens at your invitation. He saunters over to where you are, a playful glimmer in his eyes, "Well, if you insist, baby. I won't say no to a cuddle session." He reaches out and takes the blanket from you, then sits down on the gym floor and gestures for you to join him.
After you sit he drapes the blanket over both of their laps, creating a cozy cocoon for the two of you. He puts an arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer to him and resting his hand on your hip.
"Comfy? This blanket is thinner than I thought. I guess we'll have to cuddle closely to stay warm."
"You're right." You answer and add "We should sleep... All that ghost story made me tired..." You were so tired yet happy that the ghost was "false" that you didn't even notice that Satoru had a change on his mood. Satoru watches as you yawn and snuggle closer to him, oblivious to his lingering unease. He forces a small smile and nods, trying to hide his own tiredness and concern: "Yeah, you're right. It's been a long day with all that ghost talk. Let's get some sleep. You can rest your head on me if you want."
"Okay. Thank you. Just put an alarm for 6AM, so we can go to the gate and go to our houses to rest."
He pulls out his phone, setting an alarm for 6AM, saying "Alarm set for 6AM. We'll be up and out of here before you know it." He tucks his phone back into his pocket and looks down at you, wrapped up in the blanket with your head resting on his shoulder.
As you drift off to sleep, unaware of the turmoil in Satoru's mind, he remains awake, holding you close. The sounds he heard earlier still haunt him, and despite his efforts to dismiss them as his imagination, he can't shake off the feeling of unease. He glances around the gym, the dimly lit room taking on an eerie cast in his mind's eye. The white hair boy tries to stay focused on you, taking comfort in your presence. But every little sound, every shadow that moves in the dim light, sets his nerves on edge. He tries to rationalize with himself, reminding himself that he checked the place earlier and found nothing but the sounds he heard keep replaying in his mind. He can't shake the feeling that something's wrong. Satoru continues to hold you close, his heart racing. He looks down at your sleeping form, feeling a mix of protectiveness and worry. He knows he should wake you up, but he doesn't want to worry you, not when you're looking so peaceful. He tries to ignore the eerie sounds that seem to be getting louder, telling himself that it's just his imagination playing tricks on him. But as the minutes tick by, his unease grows.
Satoru's breath quickens as the sound of shuffling footsteps fills his ears. His grip on you tightens involuntarily, and he looks around the gym, trying to locate the source of the noise. The shadows seem to move more erratically, making it harder for him to tell what's real and what's his imagination. The shuffling footsteps grow louder, and a chill runs down Satoru's spine. He can feel his heart pounding in his chest as adrenaline surges through his body. He glances down at you, still asleep on his shoulder, and debates whether to wake you up or keep you blissfully unaware.
The footsteps seem to draw closer, and Satoru can hear a soft, shuffling noise as if something is approaching from the shadows. His mind races, torn between his desire to protect you and his fear of what's lurking in the darkness. He glances anxiously around the gym, trying to make out any shape or movement in the dim light. The footsteps come to a stop, and an eerie silence falls over the room. Satoru's breath catches in his throat as he strains his ears, listening for any sign of movement. His eyes dart around the gym, searching the shadows for any sign of an intruder. But as the seconds tick by, the silence becomes deafening, and his thoughts begin to race again. His heart beats faster as the tense silence stretches on. He feels a bead of sweat running down his forehead, and his grip on you tightens. He tries to maintain his composure, but the tension is palpable. The room feels charged, as if something is about to happen. Satoru's eyes scan the shadows, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios.
Suddenly, a loud thump echoes through the gym, causing Satoru to jump in surprise. It sounds like something heavy being dropped or moved. Satoru's heart rate spikes, and any lingering doubts about the reality of the situation disappear. He squeezes you protectively, his mind racing with fear. His breathing becomes ragged as the reality of the situation sets in. He quickly fishes out his phone from his pocket, careful not to wake you up. With shaking hands, he unlocks it and dials Suguru's number, desperately hoping his friend picks up. Satoru listens anxiously as the phone rings, each second feeling like an eternity. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, he hears Suguru's groggy voice on the other end of the line.
Satoru's voice trembles as he whispers into the phone, "Suguru, it's me. Please tell me you're awake... I need your help. There's something... someone... here with us in the gym, and I don't know what to do."
Suguru, hearing the panic in Satoru's voice, instantly sits up, fully awake, "What? Satoru, what are you talking about? What's going on?"
The student glances around the gym, his eyes darting nervously as he tries to keep his voice steady, "There's... there's something in here with us. I can hear footsteps, and something just made a loud thump. I don't know who or what it is, and I... I'm scared, Suguru."
Suguru's voice is serious and concerned as he responds, "Stay where you are, and don't do anything stupid. I'm on my way. Just keep yourselves safe until I get there, okay?"
Satoru takes a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart, "Okay, we'll stay put. Just please hurry, Suguru. I don't know what to do if that... thing decides to approach us."
Your brother's voice is reassuring as he responds, "I'm coming as fast as I can. Just stay safe, and don't worry. I'll be there soon."
Satoru nods, even though Suguru can't see him, "Okay, we'll be fine. Just hurry, please." He continues to hold you tightly, his mind racing with anxiety as he waits for Suguru's arrival.
Minutes feel like hours as he anxiously scans the gym for any signs of the intruder. The room is eerily silent, broken only by the sound of his ragged breaths. He desperately listens for any hint of his friend's arrival, his grip on you tightening with each passing second. And finally, after what feels like an eternity, Satoru hears a soft knocking on the gym doors. His heart races as he immediately recognizes the sound, relief flooding through him.
"Suguru's here...."
The boy gently shakes you awake, careful not to startle you too much, "Hey, wake up. Suguru's here, and he's at the door." You wake up groggy, "... What? What is he doing here? It's already 6AM?..." You ask a little confused while you rub your eyes.
Satoru nods, still feeling anxious, "No... It's not 6AM... But... we had a bit of a situation. Can you just go open the door for me, please? I'll explain everything in a second."
"Open the door?" He nods again, his tone gently imploring.
"Yes, can you go open the door, please? Suguru's waiting outside, and well... you're going to think I'm crazy once I explain."
You get up and cross the gym, still rubbing your eyes, looking for the door. It's still dark and there's no noise other than the loud knocking on the gym's large door. You finally reach the door and open it. Your older brother stands at the door, looking concerned and a little disheveled from being woken up suddenly. He glances at you with a mix of worry and relief in his eyes, "Is Gojo there with you? Is he okay?"
"Well... He is there... He looks weird... We planned to sleep and wait untill the gate of the school opened, but he woke me up and told me to open the door..." Your sleepy voice echoes through the big space.
Suguru's concern deepens as he listens to your words. First, he looks up and down at you, trying to catch any wound and when he sees that you're fine, he gives you a quick hug and then glances past you, trying to catch a glimpse of Satoru, "Is he okay? He didn't tell you what's going on? He just woke you up and told you to open the door?"
"He didn't told me anything, I was sleeping... what happened and how did you enter the school? The gates are closed..."
Suguru leans slightly closer, his voice lowered, "The gates are closed, yeah... but I know how to climb the fence. I was worried after Gojo called me and told me that you guys might be in danger. He was freaking out on the phone. Said he heard something in here with you, and he was scared something bad was going to happen. So I told him to stay where he was, and I'd come right over and check it out. That's why I'm here."
"...What?... He heard something?"
"Yeah, he was really panicked. He said he heard footsteps and something making noise in here with you. He sounded genuinely worried. That's why I came over as quickly as I could."
You stayed in silence, paralyzed as you were hours ago when you heard the piano sound and saw the light from the music classroom. Did Satoru heard something? On the gym? That's crazy... You thought that everything was fine, that you had just imagined things. But after all... You were right... That's something wrong in this place... Your older brother looks at you with concern, wondering how you're processing this information. He continues to speak in a quiet voice and a serious face.
"So, is he in there still? Is he okay? Can I come in and talk to him?"
"...Yes yes... Enter."
He nods and steps into the gym, his eyes immediately scanning the room for any signs of danger but nobody else is here. His senses are on high alert, and he cautiously approaches Satoru, who is still sitting on the floor with his back against the wall. Suguru crouches down next to Satoru, noticing his anxious and frightened demeanor, "Hey man, you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost." He notices the look of fear in his friend's eyes and places a comforting hand on his shoulder, "Hey, talk to me. What happened? Did you really heard something in here? You look terrified." Suguru's voice is gentle as he tries to coax Satoru into speaking, "...Come on, man. Talk to me. I'm here. Just tell me what happened. I wanna help you. Me and {Reader} checked, there's nothing here..."
"Toru is everything all right? Did you heard anything when I was sleeping?" You ask this time. Satoru takes a deep breath, his voice shaking as he responds:
"Yeah... I heard... footsteps... and something moving around in here. It sounded like someone or something was in here with us while you were sleeping."
Suguru notices your paling complexion and the shock on your face, "Hey, take a deep breath. Everything's going to be okay. I'm here now, and I'll make sure nothing happens. You're safe. But first, why don't you sit down. You look like you're about to pass out." You sit down and you tell everything that happened to Suguru since your detention, the spirit of the music classroom, when satoru went to check and told you that everything was ok...
He listens intently, his expression becoming more serious as you recount the events, "So, you guys were just about to sleep in here when Gojo heard footsteps? But before he went out to check but came back saying everything was fine?" You nod and he continues, as his eyebrows furrow in concentration, "That's weird... He said he heard footsteps and something moving around... but when he went to check that classroom, he told you everything was fine. Why would he do that? Gojo wouldn't lie about something like that. He looked terrified when I came in."
*...I don't know Suguru, I just woke up... But since you're here we better get out of the school, you will help us climb the gates."
"Yeah, you're right. Let's get out of here. I'll help you climb the gates. Gojo, can you get up, or do you need a minute?"
Satoru stayed in silence.
Suguru offers him a hand, helping him to his feet, "Come on, man. You look shaken, but we need to get out of here. Can you walk?" He didn't answer again. Your brother puts a supportive arm around Satoru as they start making their way towards the exit, with you at the front, "Lean on me. I got you."
"It's still night... What time is it?" Suguru glances at his watch as they walk and responds you, "It's around 5am. The sun should start rising in about an hour." "Do you want to wait till someone came? It's just one hour left. Or you prefer to climb?" You asked.
Suguru considers the options for a moment before responding, "We can wait if you want, but I'm not comfortable staying here any longer than we have to. We don't know if whatever was in here is still lurking around. I think it might be better if we went ahead and climbed the gate. We'll be safer on the outside."
"Yeah... You're right... It was a stupid question, sorry... Satoru are you okay? You didn't talk since Suguru got here..." You said as you leave the gym passing through that class again. Satoru nods slowly, still shaken but slightly more composed than before, "Yeah... I... I'm okay. Just a little spooked. Let's just get out of here." As you pass through the haunted classroom, Satoru's eyes dart around nervously, straining to see or hear anything out of the ordinary. Suguru keeps a firm grip on Satoru, his eyes also scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger.
You finally approach the gates and peer up at the towering fence.
"Alright, you ready? You're shorter than us... I'll boost you up, and you climb over. I'll follow right after." Suguru says and positions himself next to the gate as he prepares to give you a boost up. He laces his fingers together, creating a makeshift step for you to use as leverage, "Okay, step on my hands, and I'll hoist you up. Then you grab the top of the gate and swing your leg over. I'll be right behind you." Your sibling helps you out, and your outside the school. He climb the gate alone since he's stronger, but waits until his friend climb too. Just Satoru's inside now.
Suguru lets out a sigh of relief once you're safely on the other side of the fence. He turns his attention back to Satoru, who's still inside the school grounds, "Hey, Gojo, you need a boost? You can grab my hand. Hurry up and get out here."
Satoru looks one more time to the music class.
Suguru furrows his brow in confusion as he notices Satoru staring at the music class, "Hey, Gojo, what's wrong? What are you looking at?" He follows the blue eyed boy gaze towards the music class, his concern growing, "What do you see, Gojo? Is something there?"
Satoru saw it. Right in front of him. The man. The professor that died 40 years ago. Looking straight into his eyes.
Gojo Satoru freezed. He couldn't move. Not with that death glare staring into his soul. The man is wearing a fancy black suit, glasses and a beret. He's standing up with hands behind his back in front of the piano. A cold face and very pale skin.
Suguru notices the look of horror on Satoru's face and his gaze fixated on the music class, "Gojo, what is it? What do you see?" He looks into the music class, trying to spot the object of Satoru's fear, but didn't saw anything.
"Satoru get up! Suguru is waiting!" You scream this time, already on the other side, near Suguru's car.
Satoru snaps out of his trance upon hearing your voice. He peels his eyes away from the man, his heart pounding in his chest. With one last glance behind him, he quickly rushes over to where you and Suguru are. Your brother looks at Satoru with a mix of concern and curiosity, noting his rattled state, "Gojo, what happened? You look like you've seen a ghost... or maybe, like you actually saw one." His expression shifts to one of seriousness as he tries to make sense of the situation, "...What did you see in there? Be honest with me." Suguru leans closer, his voice gentle yet determined, "Come on, man... You need to tell me what you're thinking. There's something inside that scared you, yeah? You can trust me. Just tell me what you saw in there."He waits patiently, his gaze never wavering from his best friend. He can see the turmoil in his expression and the hesitation in his demeanor. He speaks softly but firmly, urging him to open up, "Satoru, whatever it is, you need to tell me. It's okay. Just let it out. I'm here for you."
"Suguru hurry! Put satoru down! And get in the car, we can talk about this at home!"
Suguru nods in agreement, realizing the urgency of the situation. He turns to Satoru and gently grabs his arm, "Come on, Gojo. We're going home. Let's get in the car and talk there." He leads Satoru towards the car, helping him into the passenger seat. Once he's settled, Suguru quickly rounds the car to the driver's side and gets in. He starts the engine and starts driving, the silence in the car tense as you make your way home.
"Toru you okay?" You finally broke the silence.
Satoru lets out a shaky sigh and nods weakly, his eyes fixed on the road ahead, "I... I don't know... I just... I saw something... something I can't explain."
Suguru glances over at the boy, his concern growing at the troubled look on his face. He decides to press further, "What did you saw, Gojo? What was it that has you so shaken up? It must have been something pretty damn scary if it's got you this messed up..."
"Satoru... You went to check on the music class... You told me that there was nothing there... I don't understand..."
He nods slowly, his voice barely above a whisper, "I... I know I did... but when I went in, I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I just checked the halls and the classroom. Nothing weird or unusual. At least, nothing that I could see... I just... Heard noises... Weird sounds... But I didn't wanted to scare you more..." He tried to continue but his voice broke.
You and your brother can hear the uncertainty in Satoru's voice, the confusion and fear in his tone. Suguru takes a deep breath before speaking again, trying to find the right words to say, "So, you looked around, and everything seemed fine, right? Not mentioning the noises of course... Then why do you look so scared, Gojo? I know you saw something there." He glances over at Satoru again, trying to gauge his expression in the dim light of the car. He can sense the distress bubbling beneath the surface, and he wants to help, "Man, whatever you saw... or thought you saw... please tell me. I can't help you if I don't know what's going on, man. You're scaring me and my sister..." The car falls into a tense silence as the black haired boy continues to drive, the only sounds coming from the hum of the engine and the rain pattering against the windshield. Suguru can practically feel the tension radiating off of Satoru, and he can see the troubled expression on his face in the dim light cast from the street lamps.
"Suguru stop... If he don't want to tell us it's all right, maybe he needs time to think." Your sibling lets out a heavy sigh, realizing the truth in your words. He glances over at Satoru, who still looks shell-shocked, "Yeah... you're right. Maybe he just needs some time to process. But I'm worried about him. I've never seen him so shaken up before."
You grab your crush's hand and try to comfort him: "It's all right now, we're out of that school, and Suguru is here..."
Suguru watches as you gently take Satoru's trembling hand, offering him words of reassurance. Satoru's grip tightens around your hand, as if seeking comfort and support and he finally speaks, "I know... I know we're out... but... I can't shake this feeling... like something's watching us still..."
"Gross! Don't say that!"
At your outburst, Satoru lets out a small, strained chuckle and nods, "Yeah, sorry... you're right. I didn't mean to freak you out. It's just... it's like I can feel something lurking nearby. Watching us..."
"...Do you think it's following us?..."
"I… I don't know… maybe? It's just... this feeling won't go away. Like there's something or someone following us, just out of sight…"
He continues to hold your hand tightly, his grip growing increasingly more tense as they continue their drive. His eyes flit around the surroundings outside the car, searching the darkness for any signs of being followed. It's dark and your family's house is out of the town, a little far away. Your family doesn't have much money as Satoru's family so you live in a village in the middle of plantation fields where there isn't much movement, just huge trees and wild animals. You had to admit that was a bit of a scary path. But before you leave the city you had an idea to try to cheer up the boys.
"Suguru! I want to go to McDonald's before we get home, let's get food, me and Satoru didn't eat almost anything last night."
He chuckles softly at your outburst and your attempts to lift the mood, "Yeah, alright. McDonald's it is. Might take our minds off things, even if just for a bit."
The three of you now sit spread out on the floor of Suguru's room, surrounded by the remnants of your McDonald's meals. The atmosphere is somewhat lighter, but Satoru still seems distant and troubled, his mind clearly elsewhere. He excuses himself and heads to the bathroom, your brother turns to you, a concerned look on his face. He lowers his voice so that Satoru can't hear from the bathroom.
"Hey... you think he'll be alright? I haven't seen him like this before. It's starting to worry me."
"I think it's from the shock... From what he told us he heard something, but was trying to act cool for me not to freak out... Give him some time... He will get better..."
"Yeah, you're probably right... He's always been like that, trying to be the strong one and not let anyone see him struggle. But this... this is different. He couldn't hide how freaked out he was, and that... that's what's worrying me."
Suguru leans back against the wall, his eyes fixed on the bathroom door, waiting for Satoru to come out. The room is filled with a tense silence, broken only by the occasional sound of the rain tapping against the window. He glances over at you, a worried expression etched onto his face, and he mutters softly, the words barely above a whisper, "He'll be alright though, right? He's strong... he can handle this."
"...Do you think that the ghost was real? Or just our imagination?"
"Honestly, I'm not sure... I want to say it was just Satoru's imagination, that it was a product of fear and exhaustion. But... there's something about the look in his eyes, the way he's been acting... it's like he truly believes he saw something. But... spirits don't exist, right? They're just stories and superstitions. Something that our grandmother tell us to scare us when we were little, right?"
You don't answer. Instead you get closed to your brother trying to find any comfort. Suguru notices your gesture and immediately puts an arm around you, offering you a warm embrace. He gently rubs your back and ruffles your hair, trying to soothe your worries as he speaks, "Hey, hey... it's alright. No need to get so worked up. We're here for each other, remember? We'll figure things out and help Satoru, okay? Just rest your head on my shoulder for now. Everything's going to be fine."
"Thank you Suguru... If it wasn't you, me and Toru would be in that school with that... Thing..."
"No need to thank me. We're family, right? We look out for each other. I'd never leave you and Satoru alone in a situation like that. Besides, I'm the big brother. It's my job to protect both of you. So don't worry, okay? I won't let anything bad happen to you guys."
You notice that the sun is starting to rise but you're all exhausted due to want happend in the night, so you decided that's best if none of you go to school today. You can stay at home and rest all day. So when Satoru leaved the bathroom Suguru turned with a gentle smile and said:
"Hey, I think it's a good idea if we all just stay home today. None of us got much sleep last night, and you're clearly worn out. So why don't we just take the day off today? We can chill, relax, and sort through what happened last night."
"I agree with Suguru... What do you think Toru?
Satoru, who had just emerged from the bathroom and overheard your conversation, nods in agreement. He looks visibly exhausted and worn out himself, his eyes tired and heavy, "...Yeah... I think it's a good idea. I don't think I'd be able to focus on school today anyway, with everything that happened."
"Let's sleep a little. None of us slept."
Your brother nods, feeling relieved that everyone is in agreement. He glances towards his bed, which is big enough for all three of you to sleep on comfortably, "Okay, sleeping sounds good. This bed's big enough for all three of us, so let's just rest for a bit. We'll talk more once we've had some sleep."
You crawl into bed, finding a comfortable position on the spacious mattress. Suguru takes the middle, with you and Satoru on either side of him. The room is quiet and tranquil, the only sound coming from the soft breaths and shuffling of the sheets as you all try to get comfortable. The sun's rays enter through the cracks of the window creating a comfortable atmosphere, neither too bright nor too dark, for you sleep. Suguru gently wraps an arm around you as you snuggle closer to him, resting your head against his shoulder. The exhaustion from the previous night catches up with both of you, and slowly, you both drift off to sleep, a sense of comfort and security enveloping you in the safe confines of your big brother embrace.
Satoru tries his best to sleep, but his mind is restless, unable to shake the feeling of being watched. His eyes dart around the room as if anticipating something to come out of the shadows and jump at him. He can't seem to find comfort or peace, and even his closed eyelids fail to shield him from the unsettling sensation that something is still watching him closely. He continues to lay there, his mind racing and his heart beating anxiously. The teenager tries to distract himself by listening to the soft breaths coming from you and Suguru as you sleep, but the feeling of being watched only grows stronger. His eyes dart around the room, looking for any sign of something unusual or out of place, but all he sees is the comforting sight of his bestfriend and his (almost) girlfriend, peacefully asleep next to him. As the minutes tick by, Satoru's anxiety and unease continue to grow. The feeling that someone or something is watching him becomes increasingly intense, making it nearly impossible for him to find any semblance of peace or relaxation. He tenses up as he tries to discern what could be causing this sensation, his mind plagued by a myriad of possibilities and scenarios.
Now, in his mind there is only one question:
What happened that night at school?

I think what breaks my heart the most is a Jew that doesn't know their own history.
Not converts, not married into, but solid blood line with practicing family history.
I met someone recently who I was having a long conversation with and she mentioned that she couldn't get together with family anymore because she couldn't be around 'those zionists'.
She had chosen not to be a practicing Jew anymore and I didn't get into her personal choices or life style or upbringing, but she made some comments about colonization that didn't sit right with me.
Me, being a new convert, I didn't feel it was my place to argue with her or explain her own people's history to her. So we just carried on and changed the subject.
In Judaism 101 class today, the subject was Israel. Originally the class was supposed to be about history and the foundation and modern history and direction of the nation. This is the first time they've had this class since Oct. 7th. The historian barely got through her lecture before the yelling started.
Some people demanded explanations for the killing of children in Gaza. Some people yelled about the evils of Zionism. Others demanded to know how they were expected to withstand Antisemitism in this new life they have chosen.
The teacher struggled to explain that the religion and the politics are two things they are going to have to learn to separate and contend with in their choice. She explained the politics, the laws of war, the tactics of all sides (she certainly had the credentials to do this).
I felt the explanations and her direction to "here are the sides, do your research and decide for yourself what side sits best with you, but please do your research" was good. She even instructed them to have a hard conversation with their sponsoring Rabbi to decide if this was a path they could even take if they can't handle it.
Still there are chaos in the chat and demands for explanations and answers. Eventually the teacher had to leave and the class was dismissed.
Having done my research, it kills me to know that potential new converts are listening to protests and bad news sources and bringing in hate to a community that is already suffering.
It kills me to know that Jews aren't learning their history and are playing the path of 'the good jew' and doing their best to appease those that would happily see them dead either way.
Willing Ignorance is the most unforgivable form of hate there is. It fans the flames that fear starts.

Agony | Gareth Emerson x Cheerleader! Reader

"Watch where you're going, freak.", your boyfriend Andy said as he purposely ran into and pushed down one of the students from Hellfire. You knew him, he was in your social studies class. "Andy, that's enough.", you scolded him. Your boyfriend gave you a confused look as you helped him gather his books. "Sorry. Hope your okay.", you said to Gareth before grabbing Andy by the arm and dragging him away.
That was your first interaction with Gareth.
The same night, you had a huge fight with Andy. He accused you of liking the 'freak boy', asked why you helped him. "Because he's also a human, Andy." You tried your best to remain calm, it was your way of trying to controll his bad temper. While you truly loved Andy, he gets angry easily. But there was one safe strategy to this. "Come on, Andy." You wrapped your left arm around his torso and cupped his face with your right hand. It gave him the perfect view of your cleavage, and made your eyes look especially big and innocent. "I like helping people. That's why you love me, don't you?" With a sigh and a small eye roll, he let out a small "Sure." His hands found your hips and held on tightly. "There's some other things you do that I love." One swift movement later, you were laying on Andys bed, underneath him.
You're fucked. In social studies, you were given presentation assignments and partnered with a random person to work with for two weeks. Just your luck, you were partnered with Gareth. Despite it not being your fault, you knew Andy would pick a fight over it. Regardless, you and Gareth pushed your chairs together and looked at the topic you were supposed to write about. "Write about your favourite moment from world history.", you read out loud. Gareth seemed happy about it, but you furrowed your brows. "The only history I know about is cheerleading and the crusades." Gareth gave you a raised eyebrow. "Crusades?", he asked before grinning in amusement. "That's a wild card." You laughed a bit at his words. "My family's catholic, that was kinda our thing." So, the crusades it was. Both of you told your teacher about the topic you chose do your assignment about. "Whatever we can't finish now, we can do after school.", Gareth suggested. The thought alone made you nervous, considering Andy. "Uhm...I-I don't know...you know how my boyfriend is..." He knew how he was, but what worried him is that you looked very scared. "Well, maybe we'll do it at your house with one of your siblings around?" His suggestion sounded fair enough to you.
But it didn't to Andy. "Why the fuck would you even agree to hang out with the freak?!" He yelled at you in the parking lot after school. "It's for school, Andy...", you defended yourself in a quiet voice. "I don't fucking care, you should've asked for another partner! Are you actually that stupid?!" Your eyes started watering at his words. "I'm sorry...", you mumbled while holding back tears. "Sorry isn't gonna fix how dumb you are." He turned around and got in his car, the door slammed shut and it made you flinch. You watched him drive off before getting into your own car to cry. After a good 15 minutes, there was a knock at your window. It was Gareth. You rolled down your window with one hand while whiping your tears with the other. "You okay?", he asked in a worried tone. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine.", you lied. "Just...frustrated about cheerleading, is all." He didn't believe you, but he wouldn't say that out loud. "Hey, uhm, my friends all kinda dipped out on me, do you wanna start the assignment today?" You couldn't, not after that fight with Andy. "I have cheer practice out of school today. We can stick to Thursday, okay?" He reluctantly nodded before saying goodbye and "I hope you feel better soon.", then getting into his own car.
At home, you already started reading through your books about crusades. You tried at least, because Andys words still rung in your ears. All your life, you didn't feel stupid. Sure, some classes are harder than others but you weren't an idiot. At least you didn't think that until you started dating Andy. Every time a boy looked at you the wrong way, flirted or stepped too close, he called you oblivious, dumb or stupid for not realising it. Many times, it didn't even seem like flirting to you. But Andy was a guy, he must know...right? "Honey, Andys here!", your mother yelled from downstairs pulled you out of your thoughts. His footsteps approached your upstairs room and the door opened slowly. "Hey.", he said in a calm tone. You got up from your bed to walk over to him. "Hey.", you said back. Your boyfriend closed the door behind him before putting his hands on your hips. "I'm sorry, baby. I shouldn't have yelled at you." An actual apology from him is rare. "It's okay if you can't always think of smart solutions, you're good at other things. You just leave the thinking to me next time, yeah?" Did he genuinely think you were stupid? Maybe he's right...he does know you best. "Sure. Thank you, Andy." You said as you wrapped your arms around his torso. "I think there's a way you can make that mistake up to me.", Andy said as he slowly led you towards your bed. Honestly, you didn't feel like it but he'll start another fight if you'd say no. So you just follow lead.
Gareth came to your house on Thursday, two days later. You already put all the books you had on crusades on the dining table in your home in the morning, so both if you just drove to your house after school to start on the assignment. "So, we should probably explain what a crusade is first, and then talk about the big eight ones in more detail. I mean, there's minor ones but if we were to talk about all of them we'd be there for hours." You laughed a bit at your own words. "You know a lot about that, huh?", Gareth asked with a small smile. "Oh, it's just something my brothers liked when I was a child. I'd always sit quietly on the stairs when they watches Gates Of Paradise in the living room." He laughed a bit on your words. "Well, you're the smart one here. I'll just follow your lead." Those words struck a bit. "Oh no, I'm not that smart.", you said with a small wave of your hand before opening your first book. Gareth, however, was very confused by your self-degrading words. "Do you wanna talk about what crusades are, then I talk about the first big one, and we just switch back and forth?", you asked. Honestly, he was still taken aback by your comment, but he didn't want to bring it up again; he wasn't your friend, it would be too invasive. Having Gareth there for your assignment was odd - you didn't actually feel so stupid when you worked with him. It made you doubt Andys words for the following days.
"Mornin' baby.", Andy grumbled next to you. Both of you were at a party the night before, where Andy got extremely drunk and threw up in his driveway, bathroom and the side of the road on the way back. You stayed sober, being the designated driver like you were every time the two of you went to a party. "Promise I'll drive next time.", he mumbled as his arms snaked around your waist and pulled you closer to him. Andy promised that every time he woke up hungover. "Sure.", you whispered as you pulled the sheets up higher. "You okay?" He let out a low groan, indicating his raging headache. "Need some aspirin?" Andy hummed in response, so you got up and walked to his bathroom where you got his aspirin. After going downstairs to get a glass of water, you walked back into his room. "There you go.", you said as you put his things down on the messy nightstand. "Andy, I need to get home soon for my assignments. You want me to come over again later?" He turned to look at you through squinted eyes. "Sure. You can make me feel better then, hm?" You were at a point where the thought of having sex with Andy grossed you out - it made you feel tainted every time. But fighting with him made you feel even worse. "Sure, I'll see you later. Let's say around six, I'll bring dinner." He gave you a small smile and a pat on your thigh. "You're not that dumb after all." Sure, let's say that.
Gareth didn't make you feel stupid. In fact, you were looking foward to working with him again. He didn't make you feel nearly as stupid as Andy did. On your way to his house, you picked up coffee, donuts and bacon & egg breakfast muffins for the both of you. A short drive later, you were already knocking on his front door to be greeted by his mother. "Good morning.", you said to her with a smile. "I'm Gareths assignment partner, we wanted to continue working on it today." She smiled at you. "He's up in his room. Come in, I'll fetch him for you." His mother made you sit at the dining table where you also put the food down until Gareth emerged form his room. "Morning.", he said as he slumped down next to you. He looked like he just woke up, so you slid him his coffee. "Just rolled out of bed, huh?", you asked with a small laugh before taking a sip of your coffee. "Rough night.", Gareth mumbled. "Thanks for the coffee." He drank a lot of it in one gulp, but it seemed to kick in really fast. "I also brought food.", you said as you slid the brown paper bag with his donut and breakfast muffins towards him. "Take your time, I'm free until five." Gareth ate his breakfast quickly, so quickly that you gave him your donut, but he fully enjoyed it. "You're honestly the best, (Y/N). I couldn't have a better partner." It sounded wrong, and in the back of your mind you knew that Andy would kill him for that comment, but you didn't say anything. "I try my best.", you said with a small smile. "It's nice to be appreciated for once." Those words slipped out without you thinking about what you were saying. Your eyes went wide as he looked up at you with a questioning and concerned look. Shit. "What do you mean?", he asked you. You mumbled out a few excuses, that you didn't mean it like that and that you didn't mean to say it, but it didn't change his concerns. In fact, he worried a lot since he first worked with you and you basically called yourself stupid. "It's, uhm..." Maybe it would be relieving if you talked about this to someone. All your friends were on the cheer team, it would find it's way to Andy. "My boyfriend, he...well, he made me realise I'm not really smart. But even when I think I have a good idea, he thinks it's stupid, so...it's nice to have that appreciated." Gareth started hating Andy even more at that very moment. He didn't know you too well, but he knew you weren't dumb. In fact, he admired how well you did in social studies despite not liking it much. "You're not stupid, (Y/N), if anything he's stupid for saying that." His words gave you a funny feeling in your stomach. "Oh, I don't know.", you said. "I'm good at other things. Cheerleading, driving, se-" Luckily, you cut yourself off. "S-sewing." He raised an eyebrow. "Sewing?" Your cheeks have turned a deep shade of red. Did you seriously almost say the word Sex in front of Gareth? "Y-yeah. I sew my own bows. You know, for cheerleading." He laughed before finishing his coffee. "I've heard worse excuses. Good one." You forced out a chuckle while your face was still flushed red. "Coming up with that excuse on the spot is pretty smart, you know." By now, you couldn't look him in the eyes anymore. "I know it's not my business, but you deserve someone who doesn't make you feel stupid. Because you really are not."
Gareths words stuck with you more than Andys did. They meant more to you than your boyfriends words, his didn't sting as much anymore. As you were riding him and he finished inside you, your mind wasn't even with him anymore; it was with Gareth. He looked so cute after he just woke up...what were you thinking? This can't be right, can it? "Fuck, you're incredible." Andy groaned once he came down from his high. "You're my own little pornstar, aren't you?" You gave him a small smile as you got down, since he wouldn't try to make you cum anyways, and cuddled up to him. "You're usually not this needy afterwards.", Andy commented. There were no words you could possibly say right now. You were too deep in your own head, thinking of nobody but Gareth. No way in hell could you develop a crush on him. "I just...love you an extra lot today." You said to your boyfriend. "Aren't you cute?", he said before giving you a kiss on your forehead. If you'd convince yourself enough, you'll stop developing feelings for Gareth and fully love Andy again.
Your plan was mediocre at best. Both you and Andy started fighting more, he accused you of cheating, called you stupid multiple times a day. It peaked when he called you a whore because you had to meet with Gareth for your assignment. At this point, you completely lost feelings for him. Every time he came around with a fake apology, every time he convinced you to have sex with you as an apology, every kiss on the forehead afterwards, it made you feel dirty. At this point, you were eating less, showered twice a day and changed your sheets daily. It was a rapid decline over the course of one and a half weeks. And with the deadline of your assignment approaching, meaning you won't have an excuse to spend time with Gareth anymore, you grew anxious. He made you feel good about yourself in a way no friend or, god forbid, your boyfriend could.
"Hey, Gareth?" Might as well take a risk. "My brothers wanna do a movie night tomorrow. I thought Gates Of Paradise would be something you'd like, considering our assignment." He smiled at your suggestion, a genuine smile not even close to what Andy gave you. "That sounds great.", he said. Since the both of you finished the assignment that day, it made you truly happy that he was willing to spend time with you outside of schoolwork.
"It's just with my brothers.", you said to Andy when he asked why he couldn't join you for movie night. "I promised them some time with just me because I've been so busy with the assignment." He sighted at your words. "But you'll be here tomorrow?", he asked as his hands cupped your cheeks. Gross. "Yes, Andy, just you, me and The Outsiders." He smirked before giving you a quick peck on the lips. "How about you bring those pretty silk PJ's that drive me insane?" No thank you. "They're in the washer right now. How about your shirt?" That still pleased him, although not like your silk pyjamas did.
It didn't matter what you wore when Gareth was around you, he was kind to you regardless. You were in an oversized Pointer Sisters shirt and boxershorts you wore over your underwear when your elder brother led him into the living room. "Hey Gare.", you greeted him with a smile. Gareth plopped down on the couch next to you while your brothers made a construction of pillows and blankets on the floor to lay on. Your younger sister joined them on the floor as well since she was finally old enough to watch crusade movies without peeking from the stairs like you did as a child. "I didn't know what sodas you liked, so I brought a few.", Gareth said as he handed you a sixpack of cherry coke, a sixpack of sprite and a sixpack of diet coke. "Diet cokes good.", you said with a smile. "Yeah, ever since she's been on that new diet of hers.", your eldest brother commented as he took the sodas out of my hands. "Cherry coke's her favourite if she's not trying to loose whatever weight she thinks she needs to loose." You threw a pillow from the couch after him as he left the living room. "It's just for practice." but Gareth didn't buy that explanation. He didn't want to say anything in front of your family, but he did make a mental note to himself. Your other brother and your sister left the room to grab snacks and the movie, leaving you two alone for a few minutes. "Andy doesn't know you're here, by the way.", you said. "He...well, he doesn't really like you. Actually, he's jealous. Thinks you wanna steal me from him."
Oh, if you knew.

OMINIS LORE DROPPED BY DIALOGUE AT THE END OF THE HISTORY OF MAGIC CLASS QUEST!
Pardon if the wording isn't exact, as you can see by the screenshot I'm playing in spanish, but here are some dialogue lines Ominis speaks to Natty and you if you stay to listen after finishing the History of Magic class map quest:
Quidditch:
"Next season the Chudley Cannons will be invincible, you'll see!
"My father was a great seeker and he always thought I'd be one too. Thank Merlin they cancelled quidditch."
"I miss attending the matches. Cheering everyone was very fun. And watching Isaac Cooper."
"My friends and I like to spend the evenings watching the sun set from the quidditch pitch. This year it isn't much good for anything else, unfortunately."
"I spent the entire summer practicing a full turn on a broom. What a waste!"
Family:
"This is the first year my sister is in Hogwarts. Whenever she pretends she doesn't see me in the corridors I make her trip with a jinx."
"This is the first year my siblings and I are together at Hogwarts. Our poor mother doesn't know what to do with so much time on her hands, so she knits. She sends us a new sweater each week."
"You try to work with a wand that has been through your three disastrous sisters."
"My father says he used to hide his homework under his bed."
"I used to write to my parents every week. Now I can't recall the last time I sent them an owl, do you think they know i'm still alive?"
"I hadn't met any of my cousins until i came to Hogwarts and saw that we were all in the same house."
"My brother has promised to give me his old broom when he saves up enough to buy himself a new one. I can't wait!"
Studies/teachers:
"If I manage to stop dissappearing my class notes while practicing evanesco I might even pass the Transfigurations O.W.L. this year."
"Professor Weasley is a trully incredible teacher. She never makes us write scrolls longer than necessary."
"Professor Weasley is already preparing me for the Transfigurations N.E.W.T."
"The other day Professor Black looked at me in the Great Hall and I spat my breakfast. I don't know if he might've taken it the wrong way."
"What a relieve that Black's children are too young to attend Hogwarts. I'd hate having my father as headmaster."
"Obviously, Hogwarts is the best magic school in the world. Everyone knows that. Of course, we'll be the best at magic in the world."
"Professor Howin is going to ask us about aquatic animals next week. I can't wait to tell her I saw a kelpie in Ireland this summer."
"I took my copy of 1000 Herbs and Magical Fungy to Herbology and left it in the greenhouse next to the mandrake seedbeds. Sharp was horrified by the fact that i didn't have it in class. He said I needed to sort out my priorities."
"Everyone is afraid of Professor Sharp, but not me. He's a brilliant man. And he has only yelled at me twice this week for setting my cloak on fire."
"I wonder how Sharp injured his leg. Surely, it must've been during his time as an auror."
"You should hear Shah talk about Divination. It's a miracle Onai's ears aren't burning. I'd say stars are more knowledgeable than cards."
"I'm still having a hard time brewing antidotes. I'm surprised to many of them ask for mandrakes. I'll make sure I set my career goals far away from that."
"That reminds me, did miss Scribner say we could take the book out at night or that she'd punish us if we did?"
"I've notices that if I pretend to pay attention in Potions, Sharp lets me be. It works well enough, unless he asks me a question. Then it's not a good plan at all. Actually, I wouldn't recommend it."
"Sharp caught me making faces behind his back. It was horrible... not to speak of all the house points I lost."
"if someone needs help with their studies or homework, I don't mind lending them a hand. Yesterday I wrote half a scroll for Binns during lunch break."
"I have no problem saying I have trouble understanding that Black is married. What kind of witch would give her hand to a man like that? On the other hand, that means there's hope for everyone."
"I need dragon-skin gloves for Herbology. I refuse to touch chinese chomping cabbages with my naked hands."
"Why aren't we allowed to use gillyweed? What's the point of learning Herbology if we can't mess around with gillyweed? If by the end of the trimester I haven't personally met a mermaid I'll be mad."
[unlike others] "I do like Transfigurations. The complex and precisse nature of transfigurations is admirable."
"I met some of my best friends in Flying class. Nothing strenghtes a bond like thinking you're going to die."
"Professor Weasley must be exhausted doing all her work and then Black's. We're lucky to have her."
Slytherin house:
"Someone got home-made chocolate cauldrons and shared them in the common room. But I think they might've confused the sugar with salt. There were half-eaten chocolate cauldrons in the common room for days."
"I don't know why each common room has a secret entrance. Who would want to go to another common room? We got sorted to our houses for a reason."
"Our dorm is atrocious. I wish people cleaned up after themselves once in a while. Last night a bundimun ate my homework. The potions one, too."
"I like to have a wiggenweld potion under my bed. Not to name any names but someone spent a lot of money on Zonko's."
"My side of the dorm is always impeccable, but I can't say the same about my dorm-mates. If I didn't know them I'd say they were raised by trolls."
Others:
"Has there been any news about the Pitt-upon-Ford Dragon? It makes me want to move, to be honest."
"My great-aunt was a Hufflepuf. She says they have the best common room because it's the calmest. Well, compared to the others."
"I wish I had brought a pet owl to school. I mean, I love my toad. More or less. You wouldn't be interested in getting a toad, would you?"
"Do all professors have their own owls? They must sent lots of letters. To the Ministry or something like that."
"So many letters arrive every day and none are for me."
"If i turn my toad into a cup again, I think it might insist I leave it like that."
"I'd like to retire in Hogsmead. Open a bar. Bore Hogwart's students with my childhood stories."
"I'd like to have a shop in Hogsmead one day. Gladrags Wizardwear could use some competition."
"I guess I'm curious about the beautification potion. What? It's not for me, idiot! It's for a friend. Don't say dumb things."
"Has there been any new about the Pitt-upon-Ford Dragon? It makes me want to move, to be honest."
"My great-aunt was a Hufflepuf. She says they have the best common room because it's the calmest. Well, compared to the others."
"Do all professors have their own owls? They must sent lots of letters. To the Ministry or something like that."
"So many letters arrive every day and none are for me."
"If i turn my toad into a cup again, I think it might insist I leave it like that."
"Have you been by the owlery lately? the house elves haven't been cleaning much this week."
"The other day Peeves distracted me and I bumped right into Adelaide Oakes. Both our books went up flying int he air. Peeves loved it."
"I don't like the size of my legs. Well, you were asking the other day, so I'm telling you."
"I had been collecting chizpurfle fangs all trimester when I thought, why not keep some chizpurfles."
"I really pity those who never get owl-post, poor guys. Have you seen their faces in the great hall?"
"I've heard girls talk about african snake skin near the bathroom. Do you think they're brewing pollyjuice? Oh, what if they've already brewed it and Sharp is actually that hufflepuff girl with the long arms?"
"Today I'm going to the green-houses to sow some knotgrass. Did you know it's used for pollyjuice potion? I think it's what creates the connection to the other person."
"There's an ex-auror living near Hogsmead. She wants to live a quiet life after fighting dark wizards."
"Do you know where I can get leaping toadstoll caps?"
"I just don't get it. Opalum. Who would think to put that in a potion?"
"The other day I got stuck in the Great Staircase for an hour waiting for it to change. Sharp wouldn't believe me when I told him that's why I was late."
"Parry Pippin sure did save me with his wiggenweld potion. In my opinion, his shop's better than any of the ones in London."
"Did you buy your bitterroot from Pippin or did you pick it up yourself? I need some desperately."
That's all I got after staying to listen for about an hour <3

Twisted wonderland v.s reader (Posetif)
Note; you all now the drill by now-
The first class you had was potions. Normally you would have failed every assignment because you didn't know anything about potions at all, but at the moment you were raising your hand like there was no tomorrow.
"What happens to a love potion once it hits is expiration date?" It was a question only third years new the answer to, but you called out the answer. "Depending on the type of the love potion the effects might reverse. If you give someone an expired love potion they might start to hate you."
It was surprising just how much a few months at RSA had changed you. Neige, Amanda and the triplets had looked over your academic struggles and helped you overcome them. Now you even had a decent intrest in history, though Amanda was more fun with explaining that to you than Trein.
The students around you noticed that change as well, you a magicless human outdoing them in most of their theoretical classes.
"Amazing, last year (Name) was a horrible student, but now?" Was said at every teacher conference. Crowley felt uncomfortable by that change, just a few months ago you could be pushed around but now? You had scared most of the housewardens, some of them even fatally injured, but they couldn't prove it.
Every time someone questioned you about what happened you used that one fatal weakness to your advantage. "How could I? I have no magic."
"Grim, what do you think about asking Crowley about his process to send me back to my world?" Grim knew you were going to threaten Crowley. Amanda, her work held in high regard, didn't have the authority to send you back home, Crowley did.
The grey feline was a bit sad, he didn't want you to leave, but after all the shit you went through the least he could do was let you leave.
You sat with Grim in the cafeteria, most people left you alone, but sometimes some people were stupid enough to test their luck.
"Hey! This is our space!" A boy with cat ears yelled, slamming his tray onto the surface of the table. You continued to eat your food calmly, ignoring the boy.
"Are you death or something?" He growled, one of his friends pulled his sleeve. "Dude, stop. That student took out most of our housewardens, we shouldn't anger them." The friend said, trembling.
"That weakling? Ha! I bet they couldn't even land a h-" he couldn't continue, as a blue flame suddenly burst across him. It only burned a few pieces of his uniform, but his reaction was priceless.
"Great shot Grim. For that you will get my grilled sandwich." Is the only thing you say, calmly handing Grim the Sandwich. Grim took it as if he didn't almost burn a student.
The way both of you continued to eat your food was peaceful, a friend group of two enjoying their food. The two people that had bothered you scrambled away, trying their best to find a table as far away from you as they could.
"So Grim, how does "I will cause a revolution from the magicless people against the people with magic?" Grim shakes his head. "That is too flowery, I mean you can't guarantee that."
Right, you couldn't. Not at the moment. But an idea had formed in your head, you would leave Twisted wonderland with a caboom. A revolution as significant as the french one was back in your world.
"Don't worry Grim, I'll think of a way to make that exact threat true....."

"Nii-chan, are you alright?"
"Huh? I'm good. What's up with you, though?"
Sanemi hasn't been focusing well lately, even in his classes. He's less harsh than he usually is, and even his closest friend, Obanai, notices this. But of course, knowing the chemistry teacher, he won't really pry that much.
Genya shifted in his seat, looking at his big brother with worried eyes. Usually, Sanemi would say things like...
"Why do you fucking care?!"
or
"Mind your own damn business, you goddamn brat!"
It's not like Genya likes being yelled at by his own brother, but Sanemi's been acting weird.
"I'm good Nii-chan. I hope you are too. Just remember that you're the sweetest brother in the world. And the greatest teacher too."
Sanemi blushed at what his little brother told him. He scoffed and rolled his eyes, gripping harder on the steering wheel. But honestly, inside, his heart was suddenly filled with warmth.
--
You were a wreck. The day after that incident with Sanemi, you couldn't find the guts to face him at school. You can't even talk to Kanae well after the jealousy that you just felt from her presence. The science teacher doesn't deserve it, as she was really nice towards you, but you just can't help it.
You're a history teacher, but damn, you don't know how to write your story well enough that it'll be good history in the future.
Sanemi had avoided you as well, and that made you feel worse. Whenever you're in the faculty room, he will walk out, even if he's in the middle of a conversation. Of course, you know that what he tells his other colleagues is just full of excuses.
You silently watched him, noticing how he became less aggressive with his students. But of course, sometimes you'll see him talking to Kanae, and you'll end up sulking once again on a corner with Tomioka, who has no idea why you're there with him at all.
(this is the usual view you'll see)
But as if the fates were testing your patience, today you found yourself alone with him inside the faculty room.
The teachers decided to go out tonight, but of course, because you were sulking badly, you declined. Even if Tomioka wanted to decline too, Shinobu forced him to do so. So now you're alone at your desk, finishing checking the test papers on the table.
You heard the door slide but didn't look up, as perhaps it was just one of your students.
"If you're looking for other teachers, they're not around. Just come back tomorrow."
"Need a hand?"
You looked up, and standing behind you was Sanemi. With his sleeves rolled up and his arms crossed, you can't help but feel hot on the face. But yes, you longed to hear his voice. You fucking missed the scent of his minty perfume.
You missed Sanemi so much, and him talking to you right now fucking hurts so much.
But of course, you're at school, and this is work. You need to separate your personal life from your career, which you also messed up on doing the last few days.
You gave Sanemi a soft smile, trying your best not to pull him down and just hug him. "Oh, sure, Shinazugawa-san. My students are giving me a hard time!" Your voice sounded as professional as you had imagined, and it had made Sanemi scoff.
He pulled Giyu's chair over and sat next to you, snatching some of the test papers from your table. "Where's the answer sheet?" He asked, and you handed it to him.
Sanemi's fingers brushed against yours, and that immediately almost made you pass out. You were paralysed by the sensation that the little motion sent through your body. You watched as the man checked the papers silently, wishing he'd bring up something from that time, but nothing came.
"For a delinquent kid, Hashibira-kun did well." He muttered under his breath, praising your student which made you smile. "Yep, he's good at history. And Kamado-kun's a great tutor." You replied, smiling as you easily checked Tanjiro's papers. The kid had aced the test once again.
"Eh, I hope he does well in math, though. That kid gets fucked up with numbers!"
"Oi, mind your language." You said, chuckling, which also definitely made Sanemi smile.
You remembered the night when he confessed to you, as he said almost the same words when you cursed at him.
"Why are you still here, though? I thought the teachers would eat dinner together or something. Where's your best friend? Tomioka?" Sanemi asked as he continuously checked your students' papers. You gulped and paused for a bit.
"Oh, Kocho-sama took Tomioka-san. And as for me, I'm busy. I can't go." You lied through your teeth, wishing Sanemi would never notice. "How about you? I thought you went with them?" Kanae's there... You wanted to add but stopped yourself from doing so.
"Oh well, I'm not in the mood for those gatherings. Okay, I'm done here. Do you have more tests to check?"
"Oh, none. I think I can go home. Finally!"
You said, stretching out on your chair. You didn't notice, but a button on your blouse popped out, hitting Sanemi on the cheek. You gasped, immediately caressing his cheek to check if you had accidentally wounded him again. But thank goodness, there are none.
Sanemi undoubtedly blushed slightly as you caressed his face and let your fingers run up his scars. When you realised it, you pulled your hand away, apologising for what you just did.
You were expecting that Sanemi would pull your hand or anything, but that didn't happen. Disappointment filled you, but this is the reality. You turned him down, and that's the end of it.
A warm fabric suddenly blanketed you, making you look up. There, you saw that Sanemi took off his outer vest and placed it over your shoulders. "I don't wear any jackets, but perhaps this vest could cover you up." He said it sweetly, and that definitely tugged at your heartstrings.
"Thank you, Shinazugawa-san."
"You're welcome."
Silence. A deafening silence came right after you wore his vest, covering up your bra that was exposed earlier. His minty scent embraced you like a lover longing for his significant other, and there, you wished it was him instead of just his vest.
The math teacher didn't try to start up a conversation; instead, he played with Tomioka's pen that was left at his table.
You suddenly wondered why he was mad at your friend in the first place. So you asked.
"Why do you hate Tomioka-san so much?"
Your question caught Sanemi off guard, and he was undoubtedly staring at you with wide eyes as a result.
"Uh, sorry to pry—"
"I don't hate the man. But I consider him my rival. He's smart; I'll give him that. But I fucking hate his I am different from you vibes and shit. And the Kochos seemed to still like him despite that. You know that Kanae's my ex. I even became jealous of him before."
Kanae again... You looked away and sighed. "I see."
"But now it's different. It's more like he doesn't vibe with me as much as Obanai does. And he looks like a fucktard."
"Hey! Tomioka's handsome!"
You said it in defence of your best friend, which made Sanemi laugh. He shook his head and continued. "But yeah, that's it. I don't really care if he lives with the Kochos or anything. I have more priorities than thinking about them."
His words moved you. So, does this also mean that he isn't thinking about Kanae anymore? You wanted to ask once again, but you have no right to do so.
"And you're one of those priorities, Y/N."
Your world stopped as Sanemi's voice echoed in your senses. You shot him a shocked look, but he was already looking at you with sadness in his eyes. This sight was too different from his normal attitude, and it makes you feel bad. You want to comfort him.
"I can't forget about you, Y/N. I fucking tried."
"Sanemi stop."
You tried stopping him, but the man held your hand once again and gripped it tightly this time, assuring you that you wouldn't leave him again.
"Please let me start over, Y/N. Please let me prove myself to you. Please give me this last chance. And I swear that if this doesn't work this time, I'll stop for good. I'll fucking leave you alone even if that shit hurts."
This time, tears finally rolled down your cheeks as, for the second time, you saw the usual strong and cold Sanemi beg for you to give him another chance.
You hate how he looks right now. You hate seeing him sad. And with that, you let your impulse take over your body as you gave him a warm embrace and whispered in his ear.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"One last chance, Sanemi. Let's try this again."

𝑰 𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆
But why the heck am I sobbing XD
Okay... fuck, I love angst :'( And still I hope this made you happy ^^
I hope Sanemi's not too OOC but this is how I imagined him to be if he ever falls in love again and get hurt. Like he would have this part revealed. And yes, the first part's my fave as I was sobbing over Genya because of some spoilers that I have seen today.
You are my babies and I want you happy so I swear, next chappy will be happier. Sanemi and Y/N is making up here so, perhaps on the next chappy they'll be okay? Or is it? MWHAHAHAHA
But anyways, thank you for reading this fic. I love you and always remember that!
@sofilsworld just tagging you here as you were also in the last chappy ^^ Thank you!!

"You're Safe with me."
Quick warnings: Topics about bullying, name calling (such as queer, not mention a lot though.), bit of angst, language here and there, male x male, fluff ending, bit of violence, kinda short cause I'm tired, reader is male and uses he/him, reader is badass cause why not?
BILL'S P. O. V:
"For as long as I can remember, me and my brother, Tom, are often called names a bullied at school from seeming different in everyone's eyes. Even though known to be most popular boy of our grade has been helping us pull through. I like him, don't take this the wrong way of course! Only like a friend. Now...the more I think about it...Is it just a friend way?" I scribble down with messy writing into a diary I recently bought myself, a nice black leather one with a lock with a code. "Bill! C'mon! Hurry up, gonna' be late for school!" I hear my twin brother yell from down stairs. "Give me a minute!" I shout back.
I rush as I put the book in my drawer, grabbing my backpack and nearly tripping down the stairs. The front door opens and my mom is already in the car, smiling and waving her hand gesturing for us to hop in. "Shotgun!" Tom tells and sprints to the car. (He would so do that.) I groan and hop in the back, setting my backpack to the side. We pull out of the driveway and make out way to what me and Tom call hell.
Not gonna lie I'm hoping y/n will be at school today. We're good friends. Many people would sacrifice a lot just to be friends with him, but he only sticks with my band/friend group. He's funny once you get to really know him, and pretty... Pretty? Yea- no. Well he was handsome of course because girls slobber on him day and night. Never dated one of them? Wonder why.
I seemed so drained in my thought the kids from outside if the car screaming snapped me out of it. "Bye, love you ma." "Love you too, have a good day alright you boys?" "Alright." Both me and Tom almost say in sync as we grab our backpacks and stepping out of the car. Georg and Gustav were waiting at the nearby fence. "Where's y/n?" I tilt my head while approaching them, Tom close behind. "Haven't seen him yet." Gustav shrugs, looking over his shoulder for the boy. I feel myself frown a bit, I was really looking forward to seeing him. Especially inside of school. Hate it in there.
The high-pitched bell rings, making me jump a bit from the sudden loud noise. "Got science first today, you guys?" I ask, looking at my friends as we walk. "Me and Tom got math first." Georg rolls his eyes and Tom groans. "History." Gustav shrugs once again. "Y/n was supposed to have science." I pout a bit. We soon enter the school and a overwhelming feeling surrounds me with looks and stares. I keep my head down, and so does Tom.
I reach my locker and grab the stuff I need in a swift motion, slamming the locker door shut and locking it. I feel an arm shove into me, which makes me bump into my locker. "Watch it, queer." A male voice I hate to recognize walks past me. I clench my teeth together and tense my hands into fists, soon relaxing and walking to Mr. James classroom. (Suck at names 🤩)
I find the spot where I usually sit beside to y/n like usual. Sliding my books under my desk and keeping my head down as I figit with my fingers. The bell rings again, meaning class has started. 1 hour and 30 minutes to go. Lucky me. The teacher passes out empty notebooks, still putting one on y/n's desk like he doesn't notice he's here or not. We pull out our textbooks and that's where the boring part begins.
A couple minutes pass by, we have 1 hour and 12 minutes left. I scribble random doodles on my notebook. A loud "bang!" Of a door slamming open was heard, making me mess up the drawing and look back. Y/n entered through the door breathing quick and heavy as if he just ran an olympic race, "Sorry I'm late, uhm..." He looks down at his shoes to find an excuse. "Parent's car wasn't working." Pretty lame excuse, I smile to myself, but at least he was here.
He sits down in the desk next to me, looking over and signing a quick small wave, I wave back with a smile.
Y/N'S P. O. V:
I knew he would be here, and I feel guilty for being late. Who knows what happened to him while I was gone already? I look down at the notes, clueless what was going on. I never paid much attention anyways.
A minute or two passes by, when a small note gets passed onto my desk from behind me. I open it up and it's one of those 'do you like me?' notes but instead of '□ yes □ no' it was marked '□ yes □ yes' signed from: -the girl behind you. The girl obsesses over me, does this 4 times a week. I chuckle and catch Bill's attention, showing him the note from my desk, pointing behind me. He smiles a bit before drawing God knows what. I erase one of the 'yes' and replace it with no and I check 'no' and crumple it back up and toss it behind me. I hear her open it and sigh in defeat. I smile to myself by the rejection.
(Lunch time cause I have 0 clue what to do now 🥰)
I wait by Bill's locker as he grabs his stuff, he seems off today. Not usually talking to me as often as he does. Tom happens to pass by and I wave to him, he waves back but continues his walk to the cafeteria.
"You alright Bill?" I look at him, he looks at me and closes his locker. "Yeah I'm alright." He looks down a bit. I hum crossing my arms and standing up straight. We start walking to the cafeteria and I see glares getting passed on towards Bill. I glare back at the people and stand my ground, they look away and continue to do whatever they were doing. Feeling power for reputation and both good was a nice feeling. Being respected all because of their reputation could go down if they make a fool of themselves and I use it against them. I would never to Bill, he's one of my best friends after all. He's a sweet boy, not sure why people pick on him. Who cares if people are different? Someone popular could get an ugly haircut and no one bats an eye, and other kids are bullied for what seems to be 'looking different.' Who gives a crap!? Not me, that's for sure, and hell, I get respected.
People call him "Gay." "Emo." "Queer." and the list goes on, ruins his self esteem. Which makes my blood boil each time, he tries to get me not to worry about it so much, but he's my friend! A pretty one at that. Wait- where am I going with this? "Earth to y/n." I see a slim hand wave in front of my face as we walk, snapping me back to reality. "Wait- what's happening?" "Lunch." He shrugs, standing in line.
Eventually it's our time to pick up food, wasn't even all that good after all. Yet I'd rather not starve. Our trays are full and we stand off to the side to spot out the group. Bill sees dirty blonde dreads and starts heading the direction so I follow closely to him.
"Hey man!" A random guy, seems to be a huge sports wannabe guy, stops me in my tracks, startling me. Bill doesn't notice and keeps walking. I hear other guys giggling their asses off like idiots, coming from the nearby bleachers where Bill is walking. "Hey man liste-" I try to talk my way out but he interrupts me with questions I don't even care about. I try to shimmy past him but he just walks in front. I start to get more and more annoyed as the other boys get closer to Bill with what seems to be small opened cartons of milk. "Move!" I shove him with my shoulder but I already hear a splash ahead of me, my heart drops at the moment. Everyone's laughing and Bill is soaking wet with milk while his tray lays on the ground.
He forms tears and runs off to the bathrooms, I go to go chase him but I shove my food tray into the guys chest, ruining the jersey he probably doesn't even know the team of. I run off to the men's bathroom, hearing a stall slam shut and light sobs. "Bill?" I call out. "Go away." "Bill come on, it's me." I put a hand on the stall he was on, pushing on it slightly, he locked it.
I sigh as I still hear the crowd laughing from outside and rage fills my gut. I hear a small click and the stall is unlocked and opens slightly. I see a soaking wet Bill, his usual eyeliner running down his cheeks. I feel my heart break at the sight, I frown and hug him, he hugs back and continues to sob into my shoulder. I rub his back gently and let him cry. "Here." I say, letting go for a moment to sit down against the wall, reaching out my arms. He rests on top of me, arms wrapped around my stomach.
Poor boy looks so mentally and physically drained. I wipe one of the tears of eyeliner across his cheek, it smears a bit but mostly gone. "I wanna go home." I hear him mumble. "My place? I was late because I got your favorite snacks. Still forgot them at home though." I giggle. He smiles and nods, sitting up. I stand up, my clothes may be wet, but it's not like it's the worst thing that will happen to me. I wrap my arm around his shoulder and walk him out, his head cowered down, hiding from shame. After a bit of walking we see Tom, Gustav, and Georg at the office at the entrance. Tom and Georg hug him, also not caring if their clothes got wet or not.
"We're heading to my place, got snacks so he gave in." I chuckle. Tom nods. I take Bill's cold hand and walk him out the entrance, the sun glare making us squint a bit.
BILL'S P. O. V:
(Once they're at y/n's place 👍)
I walk inside the warm house, kicking off my shoes by the door."You can go to my room and change your clothes with mine, I don't mind." Y/n looks at me, walking into the kitchen to grab the snacks he was talking about. I nod and walk to his room, opening the door to the place I felt most comfortable. I spot his drawer and take one of his shirts and pants (that we're both a bit big for him.) and changed into them. They were warm and cozy unlike my milk soaked ones. I walk into his bathroom and grab a towel and dry off my hair, making it messy in the end but who cares beyond this point. I turn on some warm water and wash the eyeliner off my face, drying my face off too and turning off the water.
I walk back to his room and he's already laying in his bed, eating. "Your parents not home or something?" I ask, grabbing some chips he recently bought. "Both working today, their shifts been crazy this week." He shrugs. "Wanna watch a movie?" "Your pick." I say, y/n smiles and puts on a horror movie, Scream I suppose. "You know..." Y/n looks at me. I look at him, letting him know he has my attention. "You're safe with me." He smiles, his cheeks seem redder than usual, but mine feel a bit hotter now and my heart is beating like crazy. I return the smile, after those simple 4 words I truly do feel like I am safe. I want to stick by his side, for... Eternity. He's my safe space. He's the one I come crying too whenever I can. I must be smiling like an idiot now.
I lay back into his bed, closing my eyes a bit. I feel something weighted beside me, it's y/n, also laying down with his eyes closed. He looks so pretty like this, he always has. It's almost like I wanna kiss him sometimes. (Cause you do 🤩). You know what? Fuck it. I place my hand on his cheek and the other one I lay a quick kiss too. My face red as I roll onto my side, facing away from him. Rethinking life choices.
My heart just acted as if it got chased by a bear. But I hear a chuckle and arms wrap around me and pulls me into him he laughs and kisses the top of my head. I must be blushing madly because my entire face feels like it's on fire. I dig my face down into his shoulder as my arms wrap around him. He was my safe space after all.
__________
And kids that's how I met your fath-
Anyways. It's 1:52 in the morning and I've been fighting every nerve to stay awake so it may seem rushed. Anything does when you're half asleep after all.
But ngl, hope you enjoyed <3

Lunchbox Friends
SYNOPSIS ; Sometimes the friends you meet randomly are better than the ones you've known for years.
CONTENT WARNING — Angst, one-sided friendship
GENRE — Angst , Happy ending
“I don't want no lunchbox friends”
I sat down with my friend group, it was just Tighnari, Alhaitham, Nilou, Cyno, Kaveh, Dehya, Candace and I. They all talked but whenever I tried to talk I was ignored, this often happened so I usually just ate my food and left, it wasn't like they noticed anyways. I finished my food and stood up with my empty lunch tray and put it on the cart before leaving the lunch room. I sat down outside in the courtyard, my back rested against the big oak tree. I usually sat here after eating and leaving my friend group to talk, it was a quiet and closed off space that I liked to be in during the rest of lunch or the entirety of lunch.
For a long time now I had been wondering if I should just, find new friends. But I’m not sure if I can because I’m not the most social person so I don’t really know if I’d have the guts to try and start a conversation with someone, let alone my own friend group. I sighed softly as the bell rung, getting up and walking back inside of the school building. I walked through the hallway, I felt my chest hurt as I watched my friends happy together without even noticing my absence, I shook my head as I just walked to my next class.
I sat down at my desk, I screamed internally as the class started to get flooded with students. The teacher walked inside and waited for students to sit down and stop talking. “Alright class, that’s enough, onto today’s lesson.” The teacher started with as she walked to the whiteboard and started to write on it, she wrote ‘GROUP HISTORY PROJECT’ on the board, some students cheered while others groaned, I was one of the few that groaned because I didn’t have anyone to partner with. “You can pick your own groups, if you don’t have one I’ll assign you one.” she spoke before people started to move with their groups, I sat in my seat as I looked at the other groups. I was shocked when 4 people came up to my desk and sat down.
“I’m Hu Tao! This is Ayaka, Xiao and Scaramouche.” The brown haired one said, I now knew as Hu Tao smiled as the other girl Ayaka spoke. “I hope you don’t mind us just adding you to our group, we say you didn’t have a group so we thought we’d just invite you to ours.” Ayaka spoke as the two guys Scaramouche and Xiao nodded. I smiled softly as I looked at all of them, “I don’t mind at all, I’m glad someone chose me to be in their group or else I’d have to be forcefully put in a group with people that didn’t want me there. So, what nation do you guys wanna work on for the project?” I asked as I pulled out my notebook, Xiao spoke up for the first time and said “How about the nation you’re from?” Hu tao, Ayaka and Scaramouche all nodded in agreement, I smiled again from their interest in me, “I’m from Natlan, so I know some of the history about it already involving the old archon, Murata.” I spoke as I started to write down notes about Natlan. “I’ll start on the research with Xiao.” Scaramouche spoke as he pulled his laptop out of his bag along with Xiao. “I’ll buy markers, a poster board and other things to decorate it. Just send me things you’d think would look good!” Ayaka spoke up as she started to type some things down on her phone, “I’ll decorate the poster board!” Hu Tao said excitedly as she wrapped her arm around Ayaka’s shoulder with a silly smile.
“What should I do?” I asked as I wrote down some facts about Natlan and about the ancient Pyro Archon “You can just write down things you already know and make the poster organized!” Hu Tao spoke as she helped Ayaka select things for the poster board.
“I want someone who understands”
I ran around Ayaka’s kitchen island as Hu Tao chased me with a mischievous look on her face. “GET BACK HERE Y/N” Hu Tao yelled as she chased me around, I ran while screaming and laughing, “SCARA PROTECT ME!!” I yelled as I ran towards him and jumped on him, Xiao snickered as Ayaka laughed quietly, Scaramouche laughed as well as Hu Tao yelled “DOGGY PILE!!” before she jumped on Scaramouche as well, Xiao and Ayaka shrugged before following Hu Tao, Scara and I groaned at the weight of all our friends on top of us.
“Dude did you hear that Nilou got caught cheating on her exams for college?” Hu Tao said as she ate her lunch, I gasped and snickered as Ayaka looked shocked. “Honestly, I don’t understand how you hung out with the Sumeru kids Y/N.” Xiao said as he ate his almond tofu, I shrugged as I looked over to my old lunch table and was shocked to see them staring at me. It’s been a while since I had sat with them and they were just now noticing my absence, I was shocked to hear Ayaka yell “STOP STARING AS IF THEY DROPPED YOU!” every one at our lunch table was shocked to hear our sweet Ayaka yell, but it made my old friends turn away quickly as we went back to eating and gossiping with each other.
I sniffled softly as I leaned my head on Scaramouche’s shoulder while we watched our friends attempt to cook me my comfort food because I cancelled our plans and they showed up to my house just to figure out was was wrong and comfort me. I was glad they came because they helped me get back to my usual self. I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt Scara’s hand rubbing my shoulder as he whispered to me “You okay?” he asked, to which I just smiled in response and whispered back “I’ve never been happier.” I felt his cheek rest again my head as Ayaka brought me a plate of my comfort food as they all ate the leftovers.
“Come to my house, let's die together”
“We’ll be friends after we finish this project right?” I asked as I looked at the 4 people I called my friends, we were about to present the project and I was scared I’d have to go back to my old friend group. “Of course we will silly!” Ayaka spoke as she smiled at me, “You’re way to deep in to get rid of us now.” Hu Tao snickered while Xiao nodded and Scaramouche ruffled my hair, “I’m glad I’m too deep in because I wouldn’t have it any other way.” I smiled as Hu Tao pulled us all into a big group hug.
We got an A on the project and still, we obviously stayed friends. Hu Tao would always make plans for us to do during breaks and the weekends for us to do instead of sitting around all day. I’m glad that they invited me to their group because I wouldn’t have it any other way. I was in a happy relationship with Scaramouche and we all always hung out. We finally graduated high school and now Hu Tao and Xiao were visiting Liyue and Ayaka went home to Inazuma over our last summer break before college. Scaramouche took me to Inazuma to meet his mom and sister before taking me to visit his aunt Makoto’s grave, after our fun trip in Inazuma we went to Sumeru to see his Auntie Rukkhadevata and little cousin Nahida.
“Friendship that would last forever”
It had officially been 6 years since my friend group graduated high school, Scaramouche and I are getting married soon, Hu Tao is chronically single and Xiao & Ayaka have been engaged since they got into college. We always spend time together for the holidays, and we have our own traditions that we’ll pass down to our future kids. Hu Tao is planning on adopting in the future, Xiao and Ayaka have already had their first kids, which happened to be twins and I never thought I’d see Xiao cry but I watched him cry while holding his daughter and son for the very first time, little Kayo was named after her grandmother and little Menogias was named after Xiao’s brother that passed away when he was young. Their children are 3 now and they’ll get a cousin soon..
Our friend group mutually agreed we’d all tell our kids that they’re cousins and have them refer to everyone in the group as Auntie or Uncle, the Kamisato twins will soon meet their cousin, baby Makoto would be coming into the world soon.
“woah.. so that was mom’s story.” A little girl said while she held her toddler brother in her arms, Yasu smiled as they looked at their Auntie Hu Tao while their older cousins Kayo and Menogias helped their mother in the kitchen. “We’re back from the store!” A voice yelled as Makoto and Yasu bolted to the door, “Mommy! Daddy! Auntie Tao told us the story of how you met!” Makoto said excitedly as Scaramouche picked up Yasu, “You gotta be quiet hun, Kana and Kuni are sleeping.” I spoke, carrying the twins in baby wraps.

“Oh god, baby. Keep going going, gonna cum in that pretty mouth of yours”, Peter felt his nose touch his pibes both of them moaning, Peter breathing through his nose as he took the man’s cock all the way down his throat. “Oh god!”, he yelled out as he came, spurting his load into the boys mouth, breathing heavily
Peter took his mouth of the man’s cock, sitting on his haunches underneath the desk, “Oh Peter”, he said as he reached down for the boy, lifting him up and seating him in his lap. “Give me a kiss sweet cheeks”, he pulled the boys head in for a kiss, tasting his own load in the boys mouth. “Always tastes better when it’s from your mouth, honey”
“Mr. Beck, each day you just keep getting better and better”, Quentin chuckled, “How many times I gotta keep telling you, call me Quentin when we’re alone like this.” “Like this”, being after school, all the teachers on this floor were gone, the others on the other floors were either observing detention or staying behind to teach kids who are struggling in class, giving them more help. That’s the excuse Quentin and Peter use, Peter just needs more help in history
Of course that was a lie, ever since they first made out in the janitor’s closet during one of Peter’s class, causing him to miss half of it, they decided they needed their own time. So Peter purposely started to fail history so he would get approved the stay after school with Quentin. Other students were failing too, but Quentin would give them the easiest of assignments that would boost their grades
Today was an extra special day, Peter wore the skirt and panties that Quentin bought him. It wasn’t unusual for boys to wear skirts at Peter’s school, some in lower and higher grades did so, so Peter blended right in. It’s just that Peter wasn’t wearing any safety shirts underneath, so Quentin had to pretend he didn’t hear the comments the boys made about Peter’s ass, or how he’d see from the corner of his eye some guys sneaking touches. He only explicitly said something when someone tried to take a picture, and they’d be sent straight to the principals office
“And I told you, calling you Mr. Beck just turns me on even more”, Peter said with a smile as he rubbed his cheek against the man’s beard. Quentin snaked a hand down to Peter’s ass, going underneath the skirt and squeezing the boys perky bubbles butt that was just thinly covered in lace. “My boy looked absolutely amazing today”, he said as he placed a kiss on Peter’s cheek, “Didn’t mind what the boys said, or if they touching. But if you see one of them try to take a picture like earlier, or worse”, Quentin huffed, “You find out their names and coke straight to me, baby. Got that?”, Peter nodded
“When you get like that”, Peter shivers, “God it’s just so hot. Your muscles flex, your voice gets lower”, Peter kisses the corner of the man’s mouth. “Reminds me of our Valentine’s weekend date, remember that?” Oh how could Quentin forget, Peter told him that his dads Tony and Happy would be out for a business trip the whole month of February. So Quentin’s decided to take his boy out on a date the weekend before and after Valentine’s Day, they went out of state, ensuring that no one would figure out who they were, and Quentin pampered Peter the entire time
They went shopping, had romantic dinners, of course they disguised it as a father and son outing, which only turned them on more. Whenever they went to lingerie stores, Peter was a blushing mess, knowing what story Quentin used, a helper coming up to them and asking if they needed help. “Why yes we do! My son wants to buy his girlfriend something really special, could you help us out?”, the lady giggling at how Peter was
They stopped by at the hotel they were staying at and changed, they were going to go to a restaurant, some place downtown of the city they were in and it was casual like any other restaurant. So Peter decided to wear a skirt and a crop top, on his longer ones so nobody would question them, but still short enough to make you want more. Quentin wore a tight tshirt and jeans that made Peter’s mouth water
Since it was Valentine’s Day weekend, they still had their decorations up, tables set up to make for a romantic atmosphere. And during dinner, the two of them quietly declared their love for each other, making sure that no one could hear them. When they finished, they decided to walk back to the hotel, the city being busy and filled with people, and it was a 30 minute walk so they decided why not
They walked side by side, when a group of men passed them, and they pay them any attention until they heard a wolf whistle and Peter felt someone grab his butt from underneath his skirt. He stopped in his tracks and turned around to see who it was, and saw a guy wink at him while his friends laughed. Peter immediately told Quentin what happened, and they turned right back around as they followed them. Quentin grabbed the man from behind and asked him if he liked touching underage boys, the man immediately being and scared and apologizing, saying he didn’t know he was underage, “So you like grabbing random people’s butts huh?”, Quentin barked, the man shaking his head no. Quentin could’ve let him off easy, but where was the fun in that? He let the man go, and yelled “Don’t touch my son ever again”, and punched him. The man immediately was knocked out and they walked away as they heard his friends trying to wake him up
When they got to their hotel room, Quentin sighed when he suddenly felt Peter jump on him and began kissing him. Quentin’s was surprised but then quickly kissed back, the two of them moaning as they made their way to the bed. “I think… I’m ready”, Peter said, and Quentin could’ve died a happy man. Peter was a little shit and always teased him during school hours, leaving the man rock hard and having to use his imagination when he got home. “Oh god baby”, Quentin said as he began to tear off his clothes, taking off Peter’s shirt, leaving him in the skirt and panties
That night, they both more times than they could count, moaning and screaming out each other’s names. Experimented with dad and son stuff because of Quentin, Peter eating out Quentin after he noticed how much Peter would grab it when they were in missionary. And when Quentin took off his shirt, oh god he could’ve came in that instant. He’s only seen his shirt raised up a little, but seeing it completely off, it was magic. He was as hairy as a bear, abs hiding underneath them, and glorious delicious pecs, he knew about the pecs but it was something else when he was shirtless. After they were done, they both fell asleep together, Peter wrapped in Quentin’s arms
“Oh god how could I forget baby? It was when I took your virginity”, Quentin’s chuckled as he kiss the boy. “How many times have I played with your ass after that?”, Peter asked, and Quentin thought for a second, “I think since then, you’ve played with my ass every time we’ve fooled around.” Peter chuckled, placing a kiss on the man’s mouth, “By the way, you have to start wearing tailored suits, it’ll show off your body in amazing ways. Especially that bulge of yours”, Peter giggled as he stood up and stretched
“I have to go”, he said, and Quentin’s made a noise as he brought him closer, raised his shirt and began kissing his stomach, “C’mon, my parents are here to pick me up”, Quentin’s just grunted as licked the boy’s stomach and let him go, “So this weekends?”, Quentin asked, “My parents still think that I’m going over to a friends house, so everything’s going according to plan”, he giggled. Peter leaned down to kiss the man goodbye, making his way to the front of the school and exiting, where his dad’s were waiting for him in the car
Peter got in, “Hey Peter”, Tony and Happy said at the same time, “Hey daddy, he pops”, Peter said as leaned to the front, Tony turning his head to kiss his son, tongue slipping into his mouth, both of them moaning. They separated and Happy scoffed, “That’s not a kiss, this is”, Happy held the boys face gently as they kissed, it started slow, then slowly began to get hot and heavy, Peter moaning as he felt his cock stir in his panties once again. They separated and Tony rolled his eyes, “Always trying to make everything a competition”, Happy just smirked, “Just like you’d did this morning. But who cares, let’s get home cuz damn that got me going”, Happy said as he grabbed and squeezed his bulge
Peter smiled as he shook his head, “Yeah daddy please hurry, I missed you guys”, Peter said as he reached over and squeezed Tony’s bulge, he let out a strangled moan, “Seatbelt Peter”, and he sat back in the middle seat and put on his seatbelt, looking between the two of them and decided to tease them, he sat up slightly and shimmied his way out of the panties, and threw them onto the rear view mirror, there they hung as he was now wearing nothing underneath his skirt. “God Peter”, Happy said as he took them and breathed in, moaning, giving it to Tony and he did the same
Peter loved his life
