Now that I've rewatched episode 6, I'm not as upset as i initially was at the caitvi reunion (and caitlyn's turn against ambessa) because i knew what was waiting so i kinda just enjoyed it instead of constantly thinking "okay is that how we're doing this?" Plus the trailer shows caitvi arguing so that tells me this isn't over between them and that makes me feel better!

But I'm still disappointed that this is how they choose to do their reunion, very casual, very bantary like nothing too bad had happened (which i get why, the story had other things to do in that episode, even though i think caitvi being on the same side again and caitlyn completely going against ambessa are very important things to portray well). Plus i think it's understandable why I'm disappointed, of course i expected their reunion to have more, you can't just end characters relationship like THAT and make their reunion no where near as impactful. Like the story had caitlyn hit vi with the butt of her rifle and leave her sobbing on the ground to then 3 episodes later bantering and then vi telling caitlyn to hit her in the face with the butt of her rifle.. come on now!

#think of powder/jinx and vi “falling out” and their reunion #i love that scene so much with the music and 360 shot of jinx and then their hug the things they said to eachother #so so beautiful and just as good just as impactful as their last time seeing eachother in episode 3 #that scene is still one of my favorite scenes from the whole show #and i wasn't expecting that level of reunion for caitvi but i was expecting more than what we got..#arcane 2x06 #arcane spoilers #arcane s2 #arcane #caitvi #👑
