srry homie for what im boutta do
for the au[other colors] i thought it would be cool to have klugs parents show up for a couple scenes, but for the timeline of the major events i needed them GONE and UNRESPONSIVE.
hes smart so i think, even at a young age, he gets that they're busy with work and all, and he's not alone per say- his friends and teachers and everyone in primp would definitely look out for him, but ive just been thinking. because like, i thought itd be cool if it was almost like strange also helped raise klug. as a (malicious) mentor of sorts. after they made truce (that they both keep breaking)
i imagine klugs parents are probably good people, but are horrible as parents. like they just keep doing their own thing and just let the village raise him.
but then that got me thinking, in this setting, do you think he would unknowingly (or maybe knowingly but trying not to think about it) resent them for not being there for him growing up?
#click for some deranged ramblings below with almost zero context#its other colors tadaaaa-*.#like klugs mom is awesome dark wizard but is too busy doing deep dungeon dives for months at a time to be home#shes a field scholar if you will#and klugs dad is very awesome sought out healer or whatever that also does dungeon runs. but he also does traveling healer stuff#i also thought itd be cool if they were divorced but on good terms and klug's primary guardian is supposed to be his mom#hence the looking up to her lots#oh i think#im pretty sure i got the jobs idea from someones headcanon years ago#im like 95% sure thats not a me idea#not my original idea <_<#hold#hold on now i gotta find it#edit: i found it!!!!! from minun @/marisexmas from way back when!!#anyway!! yea#ive been thinking about this because i was thinking of a scene before bed where klugs dad came back home like 6 months ***after***#klug had left the hospital. and then duh duh; plot plot#klug sees his dad packing again one night (its been a week max) to leave and he went âyour leaving...?â#and the âalready..?â goes unsaid but its clear from the tone and his dads like yeah they need me back at [hospital some countries away]#and he's all âokay klug remember to rest some your not looking to good stillâ and he just leaves#but the only reason his dad came in the first place was because his mom couldnt since she was balls deep in some dungeon#in the buttfukc of who knows where#but it#the accident was MONTHS AGO so the cruel part of klugs brain is all#damn what if i died?? would it have taken months for yall to show up#then too; if you even come????#and i woke up instantly to Write That Shit Down#((ngl mostly because the scene in my head was *chefs kiss* artstyle wise i mean. the colors were nice))#anyway this started because i wanted klug to battle strange and red ami but for serious reasons and then i backtracked just a bit#other colors

The dog I think of as My Dog was picked up from the shelter when I was about 16 and he was six months old. He was a cattle dog mix, which at the time was really uncommon in our area.
We were only getting a dog because my mom was worried about home invaders which was a bit insane as we were out in the country and weâd left our German Shepherd down in Arizona with my dad for complicated reasons.
I turned the corner and saw him. Instant connection. He was curled up dozing, all blue and white freckles with red ears and feeties. His clipboard said âSLYâ in huge red letters. I called it softly and he opened his eyes, ears perking. He roused to sleepily amble toward me, lick my fingers, then go lay back down.
My mom joined me in dismay, seeing the love dripping off of me. She hadnât wanted a puppy but it was clear which dog we were going home with.
Sly was a monstrous puppy. Fans of cattle dogs will be unsurprised to learn he was exceedingly clever, mischievous and Bored a Lot. It turned out his name hadnât been Sly. It was Billy. But I think we all know why a huge red warning had been applied to his kennel. We named him Sly anyway.
My mom doesnât remember threatening in earnest to bring him back but it happened. Sly loved to chew. He had no interest in fetch or most toys but he adored chewing. I lost headphones, backpack straps, and pillows to his voracious teething. We tried to dissuade him. He just learned to chew when we werenât looking. Then one day, clever but not smart, he set his teeth to a plugged in cord and electrocuted himself. He was fine, just really startled!
Thus ended the chewing, forever.
He wouldnât even pick up toys. He was fully convinced having things in his mouth was only a matter of time before they turned on him. Heâd run after a ball at dog parks, grab it in the euphoria of the chase, then immediately spit it out.
He was still a lot of dog and my moms rumblings about his poor behavior led me to join 4H with him. My friend Lia was in with her spaniels so I had an in. We did twice weekly training in obedience and showmanship.
That was it. Sly transformed into the best dog. From a bored unmanageable puppy he became a partner, ready to work on whatever we needed to work on. He learned buckets of commands, eager to please. Sit, down, wait, stand, front, back up, shake, roll, heel. The only thing we could never convince him to do was speak. His bark was reserved for Danger.
We went to compete in the county fair together, entering obedience trials and dog show portions.
The instructions are clearly stated before obedience testing. A dog must stay sitting for two minutes when told to stay, and three minutes for laying down. If our dog broke we were not supposed to speak to reissue commands, simply wait quietly.
It was us in a line with five other dogs. He passed the sitting part just fine. The down one was longer and a wretched golden retriever broke. But then his trainer pulled out a ball and started trying to redirect him with it. The other dogs watched with interest but stayed down. Sly started up. He desperately wanted to herd the golden back into place.
With elbows off the ground he froze, realizing his mistake. His head whipped to me. In silence, I swept my arm down in the nonverbal command for down. He dropped obediently and watched me fixedly for the rest of the time. I think he could feel my disappointment.
We failed.
But the judge came up to us afterward as I was petting him and said, âI was so impressed your dog knows nonverbal commands, and that other dog was so distracting! Letâs retest with the next batch.â
I was thrilled and Sly was steadfast, staring unblinkly at me for the full three minutes with utter determination. He won blue ribbons in obedience and got later best in breed since there was no other cattle dogs.

Destined To Be A Girl Dad
Genre: Romance, Comedy, Cute, Fluff
Pairing: San x Reader (y/n)
Characters: Mom!Reader, Dad!San, Daughter (Choi Haeun)
Summary:Â When San found out you were pregnant with a girl, he could not be happier. You knew that she'll have him wrapped around her tiny finger but he'll gladly be a fool for his princess. And from the moment she was born, he prove it to be true.
Word count: 8K
Warning(s): Mentions of bodily fluids, giving birth, medical procedures, postpartum hemorrhage, (y/n)'s very stressed, scared, anxious and overwhelmed.
[A/N: This is a little 'flashback' chapter to when Haeun was born. I came across a lot of parents showing their newborn daughter and the dad's reactions just reminded me of San so much.]
San was rudely woken up by the sunlight that was streaming in through the gap in the curtains. Before he could even wake his brain, he got out of bed and went to close the curtains. He turned to make sure the sun wasn't bothering you. Thankfully, you were still fast asleep, unbothered by the sun.
"I love you." He leaned over to kiss your head, eyes scanning you to make sure you were comfortable and okay.
"San, I'm fine." You mumbled into your pillow, having felt his gaze on you despite being asleep. San chuckled, pressing his forehead against your temple lovingly.
"Just wanted to make sure you're comfy and safe, baby." He kissed your cheek.
"I'm the size of a whale, I don't even know what it's like to be comfortable anymore." You groaned.
"Don't say that about my princess. She's perfect, you're perfect." He laid down beside you, letting your rest your head on his arm. It was the best was to have you close to him since your belly was in the way.
"At this point, I just want my water to break already." You sighed in slight frustration.
"She'll come when she's ready. I know it's hard, baby. I'm sorry." He pouted, rubbing your arm.
"Want me to massage your feet or get you something?" He offered. With you going to give birth soon, your ankles have been swelling and bothering you so San has been very kind in giving you foot rubs whenever he can.
"No, can you just hold me?" You asked.
"Of course I can do that." San let you move on your own at your own pace to get yourself comfortable. You tilted your body so you could press your face against his chest.
"This should make you more relaxed." San whispered, reaching up to massage the back of your neck and shoulders.
"That feels good. You take such good care of us and she isn't even here yet." You melted into his touch.
"She's not born yet but she's here, she's a part of you. And I'll always take care of you and princess." San chuckled. With the massage and the sound of San's heartbeat, you slowly fell back asleep again.
"Sleep well." He stroked your hair.
Since you were due soon, San had taken some time off work. He still did his practices but there was less travelling just in case you went into labour.
Another thing is that ever since your pregnancy started, San has become a very light sleeper. He was always hyper vigilant and aware of your movements. Not that you wanted him to help you 24/7, he was just worried, he couldn't help it. So when he felt you stir and struggle to sit up, he opened his eyes.
"What do you need, baby?" San asked, sitting up just as you managed to stand on your feet and get out of bed.
"I'm just going to get more water, my bottle is empty. Go back to sleep, Sannie. I can manage it on my own." You giggled and put on your house slippers.
"I can get it for you, baby. I should have filled up your bottle for you before going to bed." He said.
"San, it's really okay. I can get my own water. And you did fill up my bottle, I just drank it all." You assured with a soft smile.
"Okay, call me if you need help." San told you. You hummed and left your shared bedroom to go to the kitchen. He didn't go back to sleep, he just sat there, waiting for a bit before going to help you.
"Sannie, do you want coffee?" You asked.
"I'm good, baby. I want you back in bed with me." He replied. He could hear you laughing.
CLANG!
"Baby!" San shot out of bed and rushed to the kitchen. You were standing there, the glass of water that was in your hand was shattered on the ground. You winced, knees starting to wobble as you held your back.
"Sorry." You groaned amidst the pain that you were in. Now San was worried you hurt yourself.
"It's okay, it's okay. Come. Careful." Holding both your hands in his, San guided you over the broken glass. He was grateful you were wearing the slippers Seonghwa bought you.
"Did the glass get you?" He sat you down and checked you, looking for any signs that you were cut from the glass.
"No, it hurts." You held your back.
"Braxton Hicks?" He bent down in front of you, helping you to rub your back. San knew that you have been having Braxton Hicks since you were going into labour soon.
"No, Sannie. I think it's real. The Braxton Hicks have never hurt so badly and it never reaches my back." You groaned.
"Oh........ OH!" It took a while for your words to sink in as San jumped to his feet.
"We should go to the hospital. Or should I call an ambulance? What should I do?!" He asked.
"Sannie, calm down. It's okay, breathe. It just started so we don't have to go to the hospital yet. But I should start timing how long they last and the intervals between them." You squeezed his hand as you reminded him of what the doctor told you, trying to maintain a smile as you felt him beginning to panic.
"Right, right. I'll help you. Let me clean up the glass first." San was reluctant to let go of your hand but the broken glass on the floor was a hazard to both you and him.
"I'm sorry I made a mess and can't even help clean it up." You sighed.
"No need to apologise, baby. You're in labour. You just focus on yourself and princess." He looked at you with an excited smile.
"You're such a goof." You chuckled. San shot you a flat look with a playful pout before returning back to cleaning. After he was done, San escorted you back to bed to rest.
"Are you timing your contractions? Are they getting more intense?" He asked as he retrieved towels.
"Still manageable." You groaned.
"Alright, come here, baby." San laid out the towels for them, knowing you would be stressed out if your water broke all over the sheets and the mattress.
"Careful. Easy..." He cooed, adjusting your pillow for you so you were comfortable.
"Shall I get you some food? A drink?" He asked.
"No but after the princess comes, I want a big coffee. A BIG coffee, Choi San." You held his collar to show how serious you were. With your pregnancy, you had to severely cut down on your coffee intake, which you did not really like.
"Of course, baby. Anything you want." He kissed the top of your head and went out to the kitchen to fix you snack. You did your best to stay distracted, watching San fancams on your iPad.
"Hey! I'm here!" You heard noises outside and put the iPad down. In came Wooyoung with a big grin.
"So, how's my god daughter doing?" He asked, reaching over to hug you.
"She's not here yet but soon, she'll be here in our arms. Just a little more." You chuckled, patting his back. Wooyoung was also very involved in your pregnancy.
"Even with the man right here, in the flesh, you're still watching his fancams?" He raised an eyebrow, seeing your iPad.
"It distracts me, okay?" Your cheeks heated up, closing the iPad before San could come in.
"Well, it definitely distracts you in one way because that's how my god daughter got here. And perhaps my future god children." He teased and you slapped his arm in embarrassment.
"Anyway, I brought you some food. San's too panicked to cook now but you should get some food in you." He told you. You laughed and nodded your head. Just then, San came in with a tray, plating up the food that Wooyoung had brought along with him. He placed it on the bed for you.
"Come on." Both San and Wooyoung helped you sit up properly so you could eat, even if San insisted on feeding you.
"Ah... Damn it." You cursed under your breath as another contraction hit you. San rubbed your back and let you squeeze his hand until the wave of pain would pass.
"So, how long can this last? Or rather, how long should it last until you go to the hospital?" Wooyoung asked.
"Dude, did you not read the parenting books I got you?" San asked his best friend in disbelief.
"Look, I tried my best to read two! I couldn't continue reading the other five." Wooyoung groaned and whined. You laughed and patted San's shoulder.
"It's fine. Basically, we time how long they last and the intervals between them. Then we go to the hospital." You replied.
"I already texted our OBGYN that the labour has started. She's ready when you are." San informed.
"When I am ready? More like when your daughter is ready." You chuckled. San cooed and kissed your temple. Even if you were full, you tried to eat at least half of what Wooyoung brought you. And you made sure both Wooyoung and San ate too.
"Trust me, you'll both need your energy too." You told them, holding the wall and slowly walking around. San had his bowl in his hand, his other hand held out to support you in case you fell.
"San, eat your food. It's fine, I'll manage on my own for a few minutes." You assured.
"No, I'd rather just be here by your side." He shook his head as he chewed his food.
"Is your go bag packed?" Wooyoung asked.
"Oh, I need my phone charger and the book from my nightstand." You replied. San was going to go but Wooyoung held his hand out to stop him, going into your room to retrieve the items for you.
"Don't know if you're going to be able to get much reading done with the princess here." San laughed.
"That's why I have you and Woo, right?" You joked.
"That's right. I am not leaving my princess' side." Wooyoung declared as he came out with your items, tucking them into the bag that you had packed and ready on the couch.
"You mean, my princess." San corrected with a glare. Wooyoung rolled his eyes. You laughed with a shake of your head. If the two were already fighting before your daughter was born, you can only imagine how much worse it was going to be when she actually gets here. Not the mention, the 6 other uncles waiting.
"She's not even here yet and you two-" You stopped mid sentence as you felt a pop.
"What?" San asked in confusion and worry. Until you both looked down and saw the trickle of liquid go down your leg.
"I think now's a good time to go to the hospital." San said and you nodded, feeling your cheeks heat up. You were frozen in your spot as the trickle was consistent.
"Text my parents. Tell them her water broke and we're going to the hospital now." San told Wooyoung as he pulled on clothes and grabbed you a hoodie that he knew would keep you comfortable.
"What's wrong, baby? Does it hurt?" San frowned, wondering why you haven't moved.
"It's dripping..." You mumbled, hiding your face in your hands.
"Hey, it's okay. It's okay, it's normal." San hugged you, rubbing your back. Tears welled up in your eyes, you didn't know what was happening, you just couldn't handle it.
"It's so embarrassing, I'm going to die." You cried. Even if you expected this to happen and knew it was going to happen, it still felt so embarrassing to have your bodily fluids leak out of you, especially in front of Wooyoung.
"(y/n), listen to me. This is normal, you're giving birth. There's nothing to be embarrassed about." Wooyoung assured.
"It's alright, hmm? Don't worry." San kissed your cheek, wiping your tears away. You nodded tearfully and squeezed San's hand as he slipped your shoes on for you and guided you out of the house.
"Careful, easy." San placed a towel on the passenger seat for you to sit before loading up the car and driving to the hospital.
"Oww..." You took deep breaths, feeling the pain become more intense and frequent.
"Sir, you can't park here." The guard said as San stopped his car.
"I know! I know! But my wife is in labour, can you help her? I'll move my car right after." San came out and opened your door. He watched as the guard called nurses to come with the gurney.
"I'll see you inside, baby." San squeezed your hand. You nodded and shot him a small smile before he got in the car and went to park.
Of course, you were slightly freaked out that you were now alone and without San, you were scared and nervous. But a part of you didn't want to make him panic even more so you took a deep breath and tried your best to calm yourself down, telling yourself that he'll be back by your side soon.
"Hey, (y/n)." Your OBGYN came into your delivery room. Since your water broke, the nurses brought you to the delivery room right away instead of checking you into a ward.
"Dr Min, I'm glad to see a familiar face." You smiled tearfully.
"Hey, I'm here for you and your baby. You're in safe hands." She patted your shoulder and began to check you.
"San's parking the car but he said he got you up to speed on everything? My brain's just a little foggy now." You admitted honestly, watching her put on her gloves.
"Yes, he did. Don't worry. I'll just check you now to see how dilated yet." She told you.
"I'm here! Is she born yet?!" San burst into the room, breathing heavily. The nurses in the room giggled at his outburst.
"Sannie, shhh. No, she's not born yet." You chuckled, opening your arms for him. As San made his way over, he smiled at Dr Min and gave you a hug.
"Looks like we're getting there but not yet. We'll have to wait a little more." Dr Min said, standing back up and removing her gloves to throw them into the bin. You let out a long, defeated sigh and San stroked your head.
"Thanks, Dr Min." San bowed his head.
"Don't be discouraged. Baby girl will be here soon." Dr Min smiled softly at you. You nodded and waved as she left the room. San pulled up a chair so he could stay by your side as the wait began.
"Are you sure you don't want anything for the pain?" San asked, his eyebrows furrowed.
"I'm okay. It's all on our princess, we'll wait until she's ready." You said, reaching up to hold his face in your hands.
"But you're in pain and I don't like seeing you in pain." He kissed your hand. One of the options that you and San had discussed was inducing or speeding up the birth but you wanted to push through.
"You're so strong, baby. You're a good omma." He smiled softly, rubbing the back of your hand with his thumb.
"You do whatever makes you feel comfortable, okay? It's your decision." He assured.
"Thanks, Sannie. I just feel better with you here." You said. There was no other person you would rather have a child with. San was always there for you, always supportive and encouraging. He never pushed you to do anything you didn't want to do, he trusts your instinct and decisions for both yours and your daugher's wellbeing.
"You know I'll always be here for you and for the princess." He pressed your hand against his cheek.
"I just want her to be okay." You teared up. Hearing your suddenly serious words, San stood up from his seat, leaning over you. His eyes searched yours.
"Hey, hey. Where's all this coming from? Baby, you'll be okay. Both you and princess will be okay. I've got you both." He frowned.
"I know, I just suddenly feel so scared." You rubbed your eyes like a little child crying to her parent.
"It's normal to be scared. But don't be. Dr Min and everyone will take care of you." He comforted. As another contraction hit, you winced and squeezed San's hand. He rubbed your back soothingly.
"Let me get you some water. Breathe, baby." San poured cold water into a cup for you and held the straw out for you to drink.
"Thank you." You coughed slightly and grabbed a towel you bought to wipe your tears and sweat.
"Princess, I know you're comfy in there but omma is dealing with a lot of pain. Be a good girl and make it easy for omma." San said, pressing his ear to your stomach like he always did throughout the pregnancy. You ran your fingers through his hair.
"Ooh, she did not like that." San chuckled as both you and him felt her move and kick where his ear was. San pouted at your daughter but still planted a kiss to your belly.
"I'm gonna miss her kicks." San pouted at you.
"Alright, I don't know what you're implying but slow down, cowboy." You pushed his forehead.
A few more hours passed with San staying by your side and helping you through the contractions. Your parents and San's parents came, both mothers making sure you were okay and comfortable.
"Okay, omma. Let's see where baby girl is at." Dr Min came in again. San wiped the sweat off your forehead for you.
"Looks like we're ready to start pushing." Dr Min's head popped up.
"We'll be outside. Call us if you need anything." Your mom and Mrs Choi said, leaving the room to give you and San some privacy. They didn't want to overwhelm you further.
"I've got you okay? Don't be afraid, you can do this, baby. I know you can." San looked down at you and you nodded. With the guidance of your OBGYN, you began to push. San squeezed your hand and you tried your best to push. Even when you got tired, all the staff were encouraging to you.
"I can see the head. You're doing great, (y/n). Just a little more." Dr Min told you.
"She's out, she's out." Dr Min announced and clamped the cord, separating your baby from the placenta. You both watched as she handed the baby to the nurse practitioner.
"She's here." San excitedly looked over but still remaind by your side. Even as your daughter let out her first big cry.
"Go, see your princess, comfort her." You patted his hand. All you had to do was deliver the placenta.
"Cut here." The nurse handed San the scissors to cut the umbilical cord. He couldn't even stop the huge grin from forming on his face as he watched his daughter.
"Hi there, it's okay. Appa's got you." San cooed as the nurse placed the baby in his arms.
As much as San wanted to hold her longer, he knew skin to skin with you was more important. So he brought her to you immediately.
"She's perfect." San smiled as he lowered her down to you. You smiled tired and weakly, eyes blinking slowly. And before San could release her into your arms, your eyes closed and your head dropped. San's eyes widened in shock.
"She's hemorrhaging! Doctor!" The nurse yelled and Dr Min ran over as the machines beeped in alarm.
"Baby?! (y/n)!" San yelled out in fear. Your daughter began to cry and San felt tears in his eyes too. What was happening? What was going on? All he could see was your pale face.
"BP dropping. Someone take Mr Choi and the child to another room." Dr Min ordered.
"Please, save my wife." San begged as the nurse led him to another room.
"We will try our best, Mr Choi. Dr Min is the best. But now, you need to have skin on skin with your daughter." The nurse advised calmly and San handed the baby to her.
"Like this?" San removed his shirt, letting the nurse lay the baby against his chest. The moment she did, the baby calmed down.
"Please go save her." San cried. The nurse nodded and left the room. His parents and your parents came in, all panicked. Of course, San wanted this to be a joyous occasion, he waited so long to meet his daughter and now she was here, in his arms. But he just couldn't, knowing you were unconscious.
"What happened?" Your mother asked worriedly.
"I don't know. I think they said she's hemorrhaging. She was fine, all she had to do was deliver the placenta. I shouldn't have left her side." San cried.
"San, San. Calm down. (y/n)'s going to be okay. You need to be strong for her and your daughter." Mrs Choi told him.
"Okay." San took deep breaths. He and his daughter seemed to be able to calm each other down.
"She'll be okay." Your mother assured, wiping San's tears. San looked down at the baby that was sleeping on his chest. He gently kissed the top of her head.
"Omma will be okay." He whispered. Soon, another nurse came in with a baby basinet.
"How's my wife?" San asked.
"I'm sorry, sir. I don't know. I need to bring the baby for her checks." The nurse apologised. San didn't want to let his daughter go, even with his mother around, he felt like your baby was the only thing that could comfort him now.
"Can it wait?" San pleaded. The nurse looked conflicted, unsure of what she should do.
"I'm sorry. But if there was a birth complication, we need to check. I promise I'll bring her back as soon as possible." The nurse said. San reluctantly handed the baby to her.
"Mr Choi?" Dr Min came in and San immediately stood up, even when his shirt wasn't fully buttoned up yet.
"Doc, how is she?" San felt like he couldn't breathe.
"She's fine. Out of the woods. Bleeding after birth is normal but she bled a lot. But don't worry, she's okay. She's recovering. I'll need to keep her here for a few days longer though." She informed.
"Of course, anything. We'll stay for as long as she'll need. Thank you so much." San bowed deeply to the doctor.
"Now go be with your wife. I had the nurses send her up to your ward already." Dr Min smiled and San went up to the ward where you were wheeled up to.
When San entered, you were fast asleep, probably tired for the birth and the huge loss of blood. But San knew you were a fighter. He hovered over you and kissed your forehead, feeling another round of tears threaten to fall. Obviously he didn't know the severity of the bleed but he knew he almost lost you.
"I love you. Thank you." He pressed his head against yours. As he took a chair to sit, he held your hand the entire time.
"You did good, baby. You did so good, you deserve to rest. She's perfect, an angel just like you. Sleep for as long as you want." San said to you, even though you were asleep.
When you woke up, you looked around in confusion. Until your eyes fell upon San, walking around with a bundle in his arms, singing softly.
"Look who it is, baby girl." San turned and realised you were awake.
"San..." You began to cry. San put your daughter back in her basinet and came over to you.
"It's okay, you're okay. I got you. I got you." He hugged you tightly, his hand resting on the back of your head. You cried into his shoulder and San felt a lump in his throat too.
"You did so good, baby." San continued to comfort you for as long as you needed.
"Can I see her?"
"Of course you can, baby! You're her mom!" San laughed and went over to pick up the baby that was beginning to fuss. But as San gently laid her on your chest, the baby calmed down. She blinked up at you and you smiled softly.
"Hi there. You're so cute... You're perfect. Did you name her yet?" You cooed and looked up at San, who was smiling at both of you. He shook his head.
"You should name her. You've let me make a lot of decisions in the pregnancy, you should name her." You told him.
"Baby, I let you make those decisions because it was your body, you were the one going through the pregnancy, not me." San laughed.
"But I do have one name that I like. Haeun." He added.
"Haeun, Choi Haeun. I like it. It's perfect for her. Welcome to the world, Haeunnie." You smiled at her. San gave you a kiss then kissed the top of Haeun's head.
Since you woke up, San called Dr Min to come and check on you. At the same time, the nurse taught you how to feed Haeun.
"You gave us a scare earlier but you're fine now, (y/n). Nothing major. However, I was mentioning that I would need you to stay in a little longer just for observations." Dr Min explained. You nodded obediently, too preoccupied with staring at your daughter that was drinking from you hungrily.
"Thanks, Dr Min." You and San bowed your heads as she took her leave. You smiled softly, watching Haeun grasp your finger in her hand as she drank.
"You must have been hungry, my love." You cooed.
"She has a big appetite like her dad." San grinned proudly at you, making you scoff.
After Haeun had her fill, she fell asleep. You couldn't get up so the nurse came in to help you with cleaning her and changing her diaper before wrapping her up in a swaddle.
"Oh, so that's how you do it." San said, looking over at the nurse's actions, his glasses on as he took notes on his phone.
"Hey, grandpa. Can I get a glass of water, please?" You teased. San's head whipped around to glare at you.
"You're lucky you're cute." He glared with a pout as he handed you the water. You grinned cheekily as the nurse placed the swaddled Haeun in the basinet and wheeled her by your side. But San constantly hovered over her.
"Let her sleep. Nothing will happen with her a few inches away from us." You chuckled. You and San enjoyed each other's silence, well it was more like San not being able to take his eyes off Haeun.
"Knock knock." The door opened and Wooyoung poked his head in with the others, all carrying flowers, gift baskets and balloons.
"She's sleeping." San quickly shushed everyone.
"Sorry, overprotective dad over here." You snickered. Hongjoong held up a huge cup of iced coffee for you and you swear you nearly cried at the sight.
"Lifesaver." You whispered gratefully and received the cup in your hands to take a big sip.
"Slow down, baby. You shouldn't finish it in one go." San stopped you, placing his hand to push the cup away from you.
"I pushed a bowling ball out of me. Please just let me have this." You begged. San sighed in defeat and let go, letting you enjoy your coffee. But of course, you did heed his advice and drank slowly.
"Oh my gosh... She's the most perfect little angel." Wooyoung cooed, trying to contain his squeal, leading to him slapping Seonghwa's shoulder. Seonghwa hissed and pushed Wooyoung away. Before they could all get too close, San stepped between them and the basinet, pointing to the sink.
"Wash first." San ordered.
"How are you?" Jongho asked, taking a seat by your side. You assumed San had told everyone about the complication after birth.
"I'm okay now. I think it gave all of us a scare but the doctor stopped the bleeding and I'm fine, just have to stay in here a little longer for observation." You shrugged.
"That's good." Yeosang hummed. You watched as San reluctantly let the boys carry Haeun.
"She's so cute when she sleeps." Yunho cooed over Wooyoung's shoulder.
"I have a feeling everything she does is going to be cute to all of you." You laughed. You trusted San to watch out for Haeun and help the boys properly hold her so you could relax.
"You should rest more. I'm sure you've been through the wringer. We brought you food too." Mingi told you, adjusting your blanket properly. You smiled gratefully, watching Seonghwa take a rice porridge out of the container for you.
"We didn't even ask her name yet." Seonghwa said, wheeling the table close to you so you could eat.
"Her name is Haeun, Choi Haeun." San smiled proudly.
"What a perfect name for a perfect princess." Wooyoung cooed softly at the baby in his arms. After a bit, Haeun woke up and began crying. San patted your hand and went to retrieve her from Wooyoung.
"Don't worry, appa's got you." He swayed, patting her back softly to soothe her.
"He's got it. Eat up, get your energy back." Jongho encouraged. You took a spoon and began eating, glacing over at San and Haeun.
"We should go, give you three time to rest." Hongjoong said, checking his watch. The boys came over to give you hugs while San watched with a frown.
"Stop hugging my wife." He whispered harshly, careful not to disturb the now calm Haeun. Only when he placed her back in the basinet, he happily hugged the members who congratulated him again.
"I can't believe she's finally here. The princess is finally here." San let out little squeaks of happiness as Wooyoung hugged him. Wooyoung nodded with a soft laugh and patted San's back. Everyone was waiting for your baby's arrival, even more so when it was announced that you were having a girl.
"We'll see you soon. Take care." Yunho waved as the boys all left.
"She's asleep, Sannie. You can put her down." You chuckled. San looked up at you with a disappointed smile.
"You can watch her. I want cuddles." You held your arms up. At that, San placed Haeun down and came to you. Luckily the hospital bed was big enough.
"Are you feeling ill? You have to tell me or inform the nurse." He said as you laid on his chest.
"I'm fine, Sannie." You squeezed his arm, snuggling closer to him. San He reached over you and rubbed your back.
"I love you. You did so good, baby. Thank you so much for giving me my princess. Really, thank you. I can't thank you enough." San repeated, planting many kisses on your head.
"There's nothing to thank me for, San. I'm lucky to have you with me and to be the one to have your daughter, you've been the perfect partner. You're such a great dad, she's lucky that she'll have you to raise her." You smiled up at him.
"You always speak so lowly of yourself, my love. I'm lucky to have you and her now. And she has the best mom in the whole wide world. So she's pretty lucky." He said.
"Yeah." You nodded, the both of you looking over at your sleeping child.
"Is it weird that I already love her so much? Like looking at her makes my heart hurts." San asked.
"Not weird, that's called being whipped. Or being a fool for your daughter. She's a few hours old and already has you wrapped around her tiny finger." You lifted up your pinky finger.
"Don't make fun of me." He whined.
"But she's finally here, San. She was inside of me and now, she's right there. She's laying there, sleeping, breathing on her own." You said.
"All thanks to you, baby. Now, you should continue to rest. You're not 100% yet, take all the time you need to recover." San reached over to lower the lights so you could sleep. Since you were still feeling weak, it didn't take long for the tiredness to wash over you and you fell asleep in San's hold.
You were woken up by Haeun's crying but San already jumped out of bed, going to her to scoop her up into his arms. As you turned up the lights, you watched San try to soothe her.
"She could be hungry." You rubbed your eyes tiredly.
"Are you okay to feed her? We can use formula if you still feel weak." San asked with a worried frown.
"I'm fine. I just need the pillow." You said. San nodded and let you carry Haeun while he put the 'U' shaped pillow under Haeun and around your waist so you wouldn't have to carry her full weight.
"Is this okay?" San asked, adjusting the pillow properly. You hummed and fed a fussing Haeun.
"Good girl, Haeun. It's okay." You stroked her head as she drank from you hungrily.
"My poor baby must be tired." San came and reached over, cupping your cheeks. You smiled tiredly, knowing that this is going to be your routine for a while. But it was comforting to see Haeun peacefully drinking and staring up at you.
"Awww, now you're nice and full, aren't you, angel?" You cooed as she released you so you could cover yourself up. Since you were still feeling weak, San helped you with changing her diaper.
"Post birth poops are awful." You groaned.
"Nonsense, my princess' poop doesn't smell at all." San grinned dreamily, cooing at Haeun who squirmed.
"There we go. All done." San gently lifted her up, pressing a kiss to her cheek before placing her back into your arms. Haeun stared at you and you smiled at her.
"Your dad has become such a fool for you, hmm?" You tapped her cheek and she grasped your finger.
"Don't call me a fool in front of her." San scoffed. You smiled cheekily and San reached over to pinch your cheeks for teasing him.
"She's asleep." You shushed San.
"You should sleep too, baby." San waited for you to be ready to hand Haeun over him. Once you did, he placed her back into the basinet and tucked you back into bed, getting in beside you. He couldn't sleep without you by his side too. San softly sang to you until you fell back to sleep.
And over the next few days, San took great care of you and Haeun. He prioritised your recovery and took over so many tasks, making sure you were not pushing yourself.
"Hello?" Wooyoung came in.
"Shh, they both just went to sleep." You said from your spot on the couch, nodding over to where San was asleep in your hospital bed.
"Stealing the patient's bed?" Wooyoung tilted his head with a snort as he looked at his best friend. Despite being asleep, San's hand rested on the edge of Haeun's basinet.
"How are you?" Wooyoung asked, sitting beside you.
"A lot better. Can't wait to discharge tomorrow. But I couldn't have done it without Sannie, he's been taking great care of us." You smiled.
"He is a good partner and dad." Wooyoung agreed with a hum. With San and Haeun sleeping, Wooyoung decided to cut up some fruit for you to eat.
"I'm grateful that Haeun is such an angel baby and I'm not just saying that because I'm her mother. She's so patient and loving, rarely cries except for milk or diaper changes. But I can 100% say, she's a daddy's girl for sure." You giggled.
"Of course she is. San must be ecstatic." Wooyoung rolled his eyes.
"I haven't seen the smile leave his face since the day she was born. Everything she does, he thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread." You smiled at a sleeping San.
"He's a fool for her already. But I can't blame him, she's perfect." Wooyoung shrugged and you pushed his shoulder.
"You are just as big of a fool for her." You accused. But deep down, you were glad that Haeun is going to grow up with love from everyone.
"Look who is awake." You were washing your hands when you realised Haeun had woken up and was just laying there without making a fuss.
"Uncle Wooyoung is here to see you, baby." You lifted Haeun out of the basinet and kissed her cheeks.
"Ack. Luckily we're in a hospital because she's going to give me a heart attack." Wooyoung fangirled as you placed Haeun in his arms.
"Haeun." San shot up, having realised the basinet moved slightly from when you picked Haeun up. His sudden movement had made you jump. He sat up and looked around in slight panic, only to see Wooyoung holding Haeun. He let out a sigh of relief and you went over, standing between his legs.
"She's fine, appa. Wooyoung's got her." You chuckled, running your hands through his messy hair. San put his arms around you to hug you and pressed his face against your middle.
"I didn't even know I fell asleep." He murmured.
"You've been working so hard, taking care of us. You deserve to rest too, Sannie." You comforted him.
"Look at your parents. They're gonna make uncle Woowoo puke." You both looked up to see Wooyoung talking to Haeun, holding her in a way that elevated her to see you two.
"She's smiling." You pointed at Haeun's brief, lopsided smile.
"She just loves uncle Woowoo the most." Wooyoung cooed. San didn't take too well to that comment and marched over.
"My baby." He emphasised, taking Haeun out of Wooyoung's arms. He smiled down at her, planting a kiss to her head. You just shook your head at them.
When it was time to feed Haeun, Wooyoung took his leave. As you sat against the headboard to feed Haeun, San massaged your feet, noting that your ankles were still slightly swollen so he put on compression socks for you.
"Are you still feeling sick?" He asked worriedly.
"No, I feel fine actually. So we can go home tomorrow." You smiled excitedly, looking down at Haeun.
"A-Are you sure? Because if you don't feel right, you should stay for a few more days until you're sure you're 100% well again. Maybe we should speak to Dr Min." San suggested.
"Sannie..." Luckily Haeun finished feeding so you could put her back in her basinet. You moved closer to San.
"What's wrong, Sannie?" You cupped his cheeks with a concern frown. You searched his eyes and all you saw was fear in them.
"I was just really scared. When you lost consciousness, there was so much blood. The doctor and nurses were rushing..." San struggled to breathe and you hugged him, letting him lean on your shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Sannie..." You hugged his head.
"I thought I was going to lose you..." He muttered softly, hands gripping your waist. You rarely see San cry so seeing him cry and be so vulnerable around you was indicative of how scared he really was. And for San, he always believed that he has to be your rock so he really tried to keep it in.
"You've been through a lot too, Sannie. But we're here for you, both me and Haeun. You don't have to go through this alone." You stroked the back of his head.
"You won't lose me, lose us, so quickly. I love you." You lifted his head and gave him a kiss, caressing his cheek.
"I love you too." San wrapped his arms around you, pulling you to sit on his lap.
"Baby girl's smiling at us." San chuckled. You lifted your head from his chest to see Haeun looking at the both of you, squirming in her wrap but her head turned to smile at you and San.
"Our baby. That's our baby." You smiled softly and San turned his head to meet your eyes, nodding in agreement.
"I still can't believe she's here. No more talking to her through the tummy." San chuckled.
"Well, before you know it, she'll be able to reply to you when you actually talk to her." You said. At your words, San held his chest dramatically, squeezing his eyes shut like he was going to implode at the thought of Haeun growing up.
"Alright, appa... Breathe. Don't have a heart attack here or I'll need to call the nurses." You patted his arm. San pursed his lips and just pressed a kiss to your shoulder.
"Thank you so much, Dr Min." You said as you hugged the doctor, who patted your back.
"Take care of yourself, (y/n)." She chuckled.
"Do we have everything? I feel like we're forgetting something." You heard San in your room, trying to pack up everything, making you and Dr Min giggle.
"You and baby girl will be just fine." Dr Min squeezed your shoulder and left while you entered your ward.
"Everything okay in here?" You asked.
"Just fine, baby. Whatever we forget, we can buy again. As long as I have princess and you, that's most important." San grinned, holding the baby carrier basket with Haeun sleeping soundly inside.
"Want me to carry her? Or get the bags?" You offered. San shook his head, holding Haeun away from you as if you will steal her and run. Even if the doctor cleared you, San didn't believe you were entirely recovered so he didn't want you doing any heavy lifting or anything strenuous. You just walked beside him.
"Also, baby. Even though the news is out that baby girl is born, KQ says that they'll do whatever it takes to keep her picture and name out of the press." San informed.
"Great, remind me to send them a thank you basket." You chuckled as you both walked to the car.
"Are you excited to finally go home with us, princess?" San cooed to Haeun.
"You're asleep and probably don't care as long as there's milk, right?" He continued to talk to her as he loaded the basket into the car seat inserts that he had already installed previously.
"She's so cute when she sleeps." You adjusted her blanket as you sat in the backseat with her while San drove.
"She's cute doing anything, please. She's our child, of course she's cute." San scoffed from the front seat and you shot him a flat look.
You stifled a laugh to yourself, imaging how things are going to be when Haeun grows up, she'll definitely be leading her father by his nose. Well, in his defense, he did warn you about how he would be if you got pregnant with a girl.
"We're home, princess. Home sweet home." San cooed as he helped to remove the carrier from the seat clips. You unlocked the door to your home and took a deep breath.
"Feels good to be home." You let out a content sigh. San chuckled and leaned over to kiss your cheek.
"I need a shower." You groaned. San hummed and let you go. But you didn't want to shower too long, wanting to relieve San for a bit.
"Sannie, I'm-" You came out of the shower to see him fast asleep on the couch, sitting up and holding Haeun to his chest, who was also still asleep.
"Aww, look at you two." You whispered and took your phone to snap a picture, a smile on your face.
Only when Haeun woke up and fussed then San woke up, immediately patting her back to try and soothe her.
"It's okay, appa. Take a break, I've got her." You smiled and took Haeun from him. San nodded with a tired smile and leaned back into the couch to rest. You leaned over to kiss the top of his head before walking to get Haeun's diaper changed. Then you checked if she was hungry before feeding her, sitting in your rocking chair.
"My love. You are so beautiful." You gently stroked her head as she drank from you. You softly hummed 'Mist' to her with a soft smile on your face.
"Thank you for being born." You giggled.
When she was done, you burped her and walked around with her in your arms, still humming to her.
"Look at your appa sleeping. He's been taking such good care of us, baby. He'll protect you and love you forever, you're such a lucky girl." You spoke to Haeun, who blinked up at you.
"My two girls." San woke up, stretching his limbs and yawning as he caught you and Haeun.
"You should sleep more, Sannie." You said, sitting by him.
"I'm good. You should rest more, the birth and everything must have been tiring on you." He stroked your head. You handed Haeun over to him, letting her rest on his chest.
"I'll heat up some food for our dinner. You should skin on skin with her if you can. Dr Min says it'll help." You patted his thigh and went to the kitchen to heat up the food that your mother and San's mother had helped stock in the fridge.
"Auh, go to sleep, precious. It's okay to sleep. Appa is here." You could hear San speak to Haeun.
"You're really destined to be a girl dad, San." You stood at the kitchen entrance, seeing San coax Haeun to sleep. He sat there, shirtless with the small baby against his chest.
"I am. I am destined to be this girl's dad." San agreed, smiling down at Haeun, who was slowly going to sleep.
"ATINY will eat this up if they saw you." You joked. San rolled his eyes but still posed for you to take a picture of him to save.
"So, we're establishing here that you'll be the one to discipline her while I'm the good one that comforts her when she cries right?" San grinned cheekily.
"We'll see about that." You scoffed.
"Thank you, baby. For all that you did and went through for my princess to be born." San leaned over to kiss you.
"You know despite everything, I would do it again. Couldn't have asked for a better partner and we know this girl is the luckiest little girl in the world with such an amazing dad and 7 chaotic, silly but great uncles who will always dote on her." You smiled softly and laid your head on San's shoulder.
"Yes, she will definitely grow up with a lot of chaos. I mean, look at her godfather. He's the definition of chaos." He chuckled.
You nodded, San was right but you knew the boys, especially Wooyoung, would make sure your little girl grows up with all the love in the world.
And that proved to be right because after a day of hanging out with Wooyoung, Haeun came back home and said her first word.
"Sannie!" She lifted her arms up with the biggest grin on her face.
"What did you say, baby?" You stifled a laugh. She repeated it again and you saw San freeze, unsure of how to react. She didn't call him 'appa' but his name was her first word.
"She said her first word." You reminded San.
"Still..." San gave you a look. He was big on respect and traditions, he didn't want Haeun going around calling him by his first name.
"No, not Sannie, princess. Appa. Can you say 'appa'?" San pointed to himself, bending down to her height so he would be at her eye level. You were having a field day and didn't have the heart to correct Haeun, she was just so cute.
"Sannie!" She giggled bashfully. San playfully lifted her up, making her squeal with laughter.
"I'm going to kill Jung Wooyoung." San turned to you.
"Sannie! Sannie!" Haeun gleefully wrapped her arms around San's neck, burying her face against his chest.

Under the Opulence - Max Verstappen
â Pairing - Max Verstappen x Reader
â Summary - Your family isn't kind to you, and in fact, they all think Max would be a much better fit for your sister. Max likes to differ.
â Word count - 3.4k words, hurt/comfort
â Masterlist - This has been finished for some time, but I've only gotten around to given it a name Feedback and reblogs are appreciated
The grandeur of your family's foyer, adorned with polished marble and intricate chandeliers, set the stage for Maxâs introduction to the world you came from. As you and Max entered, the echoes of your footsteps reverberated through the opulent space, the air charged with excitement and anxiety, but most noticeably on your side, dread.Â
Gabriella, your sister, emerged from an adjoining room, her presence demanding attention. With her radiant smile and effortless poise, she seemed to glide into the scene like a queen entering her court. She was the star of the family, the golden child who effortlessly commanded attention and adoration. With her striking looks and sharp intellect, she had always been the one to effortlessly charm anyone who crossed her path. Even your past romantic interests had succumbed to her allure, leaving you with the bitter taste of never good enough.
"It's okay, we're sisters," Gabriella would nonchalantly reassure you. "They weren't good enough for you if they wanted me more."
Her eyes, adorned with an air of confidence, locked onto Max, acknowledging his presence with a subtle yet unmistakable hint of curiosity. Bluntly scrutinising Max, she drank him up with her eyes, then she battered her long eyelashes a few times before slotting into the role of the perfect twin sister.
Max, a bit taken aback by the unexpected encounter, met Gabriella's gaze with a polite smile. That was all your sister needed before stepping forward, presenting her hand gracefully, a subtle gesture that belied the underlying power dynamics at play. Max, being the gentleman he was, reciprocated the greeting with a warm shake. However, as the customary exchange lingered for a moment longer than expected, you felt an unspoken tension building.Â
âGabriella, but you â my dear â can call me Gabbie.â Her voice sang in the foyer, bouncing so wonderfully off the walls. You wanted nothing more than to leave. Their hands were still intertwined.Â
Instinctively, you began to withdraw your hand from his left, realising that you were caught in an awkward silence. Gabriella's grip on Max's hand tightened imperceptibly, and you hesitated for a split second, torn between asserting yourself and avoiding a confrontation. Finally, you reluctantly released Max's hand, a subtle concession that felt like surrender.
However, your parents made their grand entrance, drawn by the commotion in the foyer.
Gabriella finally let go of Max. She stepped back, allowing a brief respite from the charged exchange.Â
Your mother, an elegant woman with an air of sophistication, approached with a warm smile. "Oh, there you all are! We were starting to wonder when you'd make it to the heart of the festivities."
As she spoke, her eyes lingered on Gabriella and Max, a subtle but knowing gleam in her eyes. It was as if she sensed the unspoken currents beneath the surface. Your father, a more reserved figure, stood beside her, observing the scene with a discerning gaze.
"Mom, Dad, this is Max," you introduced, trying to steer the conversation away from the palpable tension that lingered.
With an air of practised nonchalance, Gabriella returned her attention to Max, a playful smile gracing her lips. "Well, Max, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I've heard so much about you," she purred, her words leaving an ambiguous trail of intentions.
She tried to grasp his hand once again, but instead, he started helping you out of your coat to keep his hands busy.
Max, still wanting to leave a good impression, responded with a friendly smile. "Likewise, Gabriella. Your sister here has spoken highly of you too," he said, casting a glance in your direction, before he extended a polite hand toward your parents, exchanging pleasantries as he tried to steer the conversation towards the two newcomers in the foyer.Â
Gabriella subtly positioned herself beside him, a silent claim reaffirmed. The atmosphere remained charged, your parents seemingly ignorant of the intricate dynamics playing out before them. The dreadful feeling returned to you as your mom made eye contact with you once more. You averted your eyes.
Gabriella, seizing the opportunity, looped her arm through Max's, as if marking her territory. "Max, let me give you a tour of this magnificent place. There are so many things you haven't seen yet," she exclaimed, her tone holding a mixture of innocence and mischief.
Your heart sank as you watched them disappear into the lavish corridors of your family home.
âLet them go, honey. Iâm sure he will be quite interested in our familyâs history.â Your mother commented, foregoing the formality of any other type of recognition or greeting to you as she and your dad disappeared after Gabriella and Max.
Leaving you on your own in the opulent foyer, you wished to leave once more.
Determined to regain some semblance of composure, you wandered into the adjacent parlour, a room adorned with plush furniture and rich tapestries. The soft glow of antique lamps cast a warm ambience, but even the comforting setting couldn't dispel the growing unease. You settled into a chair, the plush upholstery offering little solace for the whirlwind of emotions swirling within. The room seemed to close in on you as you anxiously waited for Max and Gabriella to return. The dreadful feeling intensified with every passing moment, and your mind raced with unsettling thoughts.
Finally, the door swung open, and they entered the parlour. Gabriella's laughter echoed through the room. Max wore a polite smile, seemingly having enjoyed the tour, but you couldn't shake the feeling that Gabriella was orchestrating an elaborate performance.
"This place is quite⌠something," Max said, casting a glance in your direction as if seeking reassurance or acknowledgement. You tried to smile at him. Gabriella, however, continued to dominate the spotlight.
"We have quite the family history," she replied with a sly smile, her eyes flickering between Max and you. "It's a shame you won't be able to hear all the juicy details."
You forced another smile in response, but the unease gnawed at you. As they settled into the room, Gabriella strategically took the seat next to Max, her gestures and expressions aimed at enchanting him right before your eyes.
The conversation flowed effortlessly between them, a dance of words that excluded you from its rhythm. You felt like a mere observer in your own home, watching as Gabriella captivated Max with tales of the family's past, her laughter ringing like an enchanting melody.
Your attempts to engage in the conversation were met with fleeting glances as if your presence were an afterthought. Gabriella was ever so quick to recapture Maxâs attention, despite your valiant efforts to seek a way into the discussion.
Desperate for a reprieve, you finally excused yourself under the pretence of attending to something in the kitchen. As you escaped the room, the weight of the evening bore down on you, and you couldn't shake the sinking feeling that this family gathering had become a stage for a performance in which you had no choice but to play a reluctant supporting role.
In the kitchen, you busied yourself with trivial tasks, the rhythmic clinking of dishes providing a brief respite from the orchestrated drama in the parlour. The tension that had followed you from the foyer to the parlour lingered like an unwelcome guest, and you desperately sought a moment of solitude to collect your thoughts.
As you absentmindedly stacked plates from the dishwasher, your mother entered the kitchen, her gaze lingering on you with a knowing expression. It was as if she could sense the turbulence beneath the composed facade you were desperately trying to maintain.
"Oh, dear, are you alright?" she inquired, her tone carrying a hint of concern.
You forced a smile, attempting to deflect the obvious discomfort. "I'm fine, just needed a moment away from the chatter in there."
Your mother's eyes softened, but there was a glint of curiosity. "Well, I must say, Gabriella and Max make quite the pair. They look so good together, don't you think?"
The question hung in the air, a subtle prod at the heart of the matter. You felt a knot tighten in your stomach as you processed the implications of your mother's words. It was a commentary that cut through the facade you were desperately trying to maintain.
"Oh, Mom, they're just chatting. It doesn't mean anything," you responded, attempting to downplay the situation.
Your mother, however, seemed undeterred. "I don't know, dear. They do seem to have a certain chemistry, don't you think? They'd make a handsome couple."
The weight of her words settled on you like an anvil, and you struggled to find a suitable response. The kitchen, for a brief moment, had been a sanctuary, but now felt like a confessional where you were forced to confront the complexities of your feelings.
"I...I don't know, Mom. It's just an introduction," you stammered, your attempts to maintain composure faltering.
Her gaze lingered on you for a moment, and then she sighed, a knowing smile playing on her lips. "You know, sometimes we find unexpected connections in the most peculiar places. And if they happen to find something special tonight, well, we should be happy for them, shouldn't we?"
You felt a surge of frustration and helplessness.
âItâs such a shame his looks just arenât quite there, but he certainly has other features to make up for it. Wouldnât you say so as well? Yes, a shame, but Gabriella has always been so kind-hearted. Iâm sure she doesnât mind either.â Your mother continued, before finally smiling at you.Â
Her message was loud and clear, as she had expressed her approval of Max as a suitable match for Gabriella.Â
Your mother wanted you to break up with Max and hand him over.
It was as though Max was a commodity to be exchanged, a possession for your sister to play with until she grew tired and moved on. It made you feel sick to the stomach.Â
âDinner is all ready, your father just put down the roast on the table.â
You followed your mother into the dining room, the scent of the roast filling the air. The grand table, adorned with fine china and polished silverware, became the stage for the next act in this familial drama.
As you took your seat, Max seated next to you, your parents strategically positioned Gabriella opposite Max. The tension in the room was palpable, and you couldn't shake the feeling that every word and gesture would be scrutinised.
"So, Max," your mother began, her eyes flickering between Max and Gabriella, "how did you find our home? Quite exquisite, isn't it?"
Max, thankfully pr-trained, nodded appreciatively. "It's a stunning place with so much history."
Gabriella's eyes gleamed with satisfaction, and you braced yourself for what would come next. Your mother, however, wasn't finished.
"And speaking of history," she continued, casting a pointed look at Gabriella, "our family has quite a rich one. Gabriella, why don't you share some of the highlights? Max might find it fascinating."
âItâs alright, I think I heard enough earlier,â Max told your mom, âI would much rather hear childhood stories about her.â He turned his head, making himself able to look into your eyes, and you felt the dread spread. Despite the way he looked at you, it did nothing to calm you down, knowing your parents would not deliver what Max was expecting to be told about.
Max's genuine interest in hearing about your childhood seemed to momentarily disrupt the carefully choreographed performance. Your mother, however, skilfully manoeuvred to maintain the narrative she had meticulously constructed.
"Oh, Max, you're sweet," your mother said, offering a polite smile, "but Gabriella's achievements are the true highlights. She's always been the shining star of our family."
Your sister, seizing the opportunity, began to regale Max with tales of her academic triumphs, artistic pursuits, and social accomplishments. As she spoke, you felt the distance between you and Max widen, a chasm fuelled by your parents' insistence on casting Gabriella as the focal point of the conversation.
Max, sensing the discomfort, tried to redirect the conversation toward a more inclusive narrative. "I'm sure there are some other stories you could tell, perhaps some that arenât about Gabriell-?"
âPlease Max, do call me Gabby.â Gabriella interrupted Max.
Your mother exchanged a knowing glance with your father before responding, "Oh, there are plenty of stories, but I think Gabriella's achievements are what make our family truly special. Don't you agree, Max?"
Max hesitated for a moment, his frustration simmering beneath the surface. However, not wanting to create a scene, he nodded uncomfortably, "Yes, I guess Gabriella is quite accomplished."
Gabriella shot you a coy smile, her triumph was evident in the subtle control she exerted over the narrative. As the conversation continued to revolve around her, Max's attempts to steer it in a different direction seemed to hit an invisible wall.
Your parents, seemingly oblivious to Max's growing discomfort, continued to extol Gabriella's virtues. The room buzzed with the clinking of silverware and the murmur of praise, all while you sat there, a silent observer of your own family dinner.
As dessert was served, Max couldn't hide the subtle tenseness in his shoulders. He glanced at you, a mix of empathy and frustration in his eyes. Despite the challenging circumstances, you appreciated his efforts to bridge the gap.
When Max tried to ask about your childhood again, your mother skilfully redirected the conversation. "Oh, Max, we can talk about that another time. Let's focus on the present moment and enjoy the evening."
Your sister, seizing every opportunity to keep the spotlight, interjected, "You know, Max, I've always been curious about your interests and aspirations. Tell us more about yourself."
The shift in attention to Max was noticeable, but it wasn't the genuine interest he had hoped for. Instead, it felt like another tactic to steer the conversation away from you. Max, his patience waning, briefly shared short anecdotes about his work, nothing he hadnât already told to the media. However, his eyes kept returning to you, his fingers intertwined with you. As though you were oblivious to the way your sister's feet â under the table â were trying to urge Max to look at her.Â
The night wore on, and Max's frustration continued to build, a silent storm brewing within him. The genuine smile he had worn upon arrival had now transformed into a tight-lipped expression, betraying his growing discontent.
Your dad had taken it upon himself to serve a glass of whiskey to him and Max, while your mother brought forth an array of finger foods and other light and savoury snacks. Your family settled around the nice fireplace in the big sitting room, itâs even more extravagant and opulent than the smaller parlour room you had tried to take refuge in earlier in the day.Â
When your sister, seemingly oblivious to the tension, leaned closer to Max, her voice dripping with false sweetness, "You know, Max, we're so thrilled to have you here. It's not often we get such distinguished company."Â
Max, no longer willing to play along, shifted uncomfortably on the beige couch. "Thank you for having me. It's been... quite an experience," he replied, his tone carrying a subtle edge.
Your father, still under the illusion that the evening had gone splendidly, raised his glass. "A toast! To family and new beginnings."
Max's frustration reached its peak as his eyes locked on your dadâs raised glass. Max abruptly stood up, the sound of him slamming his glass down echoing in the sudden silence. The tension in the room was palpable as he looked directly at your parents.
"I appreciate your hospitality, but I can't ignore the blatant disregard for your own daughter," he said, his voice measured but firm. "I came here hoping to learn more about her, but it seems the spotlight is reserved for someone else."
Gabriella's eyes widened in feigned innocence, a practised mask that Max wasn't buying. Your parents exchanged uneasy glances, finally sensing the budding cracks in their carefully constructed facade.
"I won't be a part of a charade that dismisses her existence," Max continued, his frustration now laid bare. "If you can't appreciate the amazing person she is, then I want no part in this. Goodnight."
Without waiting for a response, Max pulled you from the couch. As you both retreated from the sitting room, leaving behind the echoes of tension and shattered illusions, you felt a strange mixture of relief and sorrow.
Max led you through the ornate hallways of your family home, the grandeur of the surroundings now feeling suffocating. The air outside was cool and crisp as you stepped onto the front porch, the distant sounds of the night providing a stark contrast to the stifling atmosphere within.
He turned to you, his eyes reflecting a mix of frustration and concern. "I'm sorry, I didn't expect it to be like this."
You managed a small smile, appreciating his genuine intentions. "It's not your fault. Thank you for trying."
Max sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Your family... it's not what I expected."
You nodded, feeling a lump forming in your throat. "It's never been easy."
"Look, I don't know what's going on, but you deserve better than this," Max said, his voice filled with sincerity. "I'm here for you, no matter what."
As Max navigated the darkened streets, a palpable tension and heavy silence filled the car ride home between you and him. The glow of streetlights cast fleeting shadows across his determined expression, the lines of worry etched into his brow.
You sat beside him, lost in your thoughts, the events of the evening replaying in your mind like a broken record. The weight of the strained interactions with your family weighed heavily on your shoulders, a burden you couldn't shake.
Max glanced at you from the corner of his eye, his concern evident in the furrow of his brow. "Are you okay?" he asked softly, breaking the silence that had enveloped the car.
You sighed, your gaze fixed on the passing scenery outside the window. "I don't know, Max. Tonight was⌠a lot. Iâm sorry for Gabriella."
âThey shouldnât have said any of that.â Max ignored your comment, âthatâs not- even I know thatâs now how you treat family.â
âIâm sorry for Gabriella.â You tried to tell him once again, instead finding his hand reaching out to tangle it into yours.Â
As Max's hand intertwined with yours, a comforting warmth spread through your fingertips, grounding you in the present moment. His touch was a lifeline, offering solace amidst the turmoil that had consumed your family gathering. You squeezed his hand gently, appreciating the silent support he offered.
Max pulled the car over, letting him turn to you and gaze into your eyes.
"I know you're sorry, love," Max whispered, his voice laced with understanding. "But you can't take responsibility for someone else's idiotic words. Gabriella's actions were uncalled for, and it's not your parents should have stopped it, not⌠Encouraged it."
His words resonated deep within you, reminding you that you were not solely accountable for the strained relationship with your parents. The weight on your shoulders began to lighten as if Max's presence alone could alleviate the burden.
You turned to him, finally meeting his concerned gaze. "Thank you, Max. Your support means the world to me."
He smiled softly, his eyes filled with tenderness. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what. We'll get through this together, alright?"
A surge of gratitude washed over you, grateful for the unwavering love and understanding Max consistently provided. You squeezed his hand once more, as he pulled out of the ditch.Â
The car continued to glide through the darkened streets, but the heavy silence had transformed into a comforting embrace of shared vulnerability.
As the glow of streetlights continued to cast fleeting shadows, you realised that it was in the darkest moments that the strength of your relationship with Max shone the brightest. And with his hand clasped firmly in yours, you knew that together, you could weather any storm or awful family dinner.

Competition For You
[G!P Step-sis Yu Jimin & Kim Minjeong x Fem! Reader]
(OMEGA VERSE)
Summary: Your alpha step sisters that were crushing on you ever since the day you've met, are getting too hard from your pheromones in heat, so they decided they'd finally fuck you out of your senses to solve all of your problems ;)
WC: 3k words
(°=^)
6:01 PM
"Want us to help?"
Never in the past 9 months would you ever expect your two older step-sisters; Jimin and Minjeong who are Alphas, to ever say those words when you're in heat, all helpless in bed with trembling legs under the duvet covers. Was your scent that strong to the point where they could smell it from outside your room? What if they got a rut because of you? The guilt ate you up like a virus, and the hot tingling feeling inside of every part of your body wasn't helping you one bit.
All of this started 9 months ago, your mother remarried to a new wealthy man, wanting a new life from the troubles in her past marriage, but with the new man; there was his two daughters. The taller one that seemed to be older than you, her black jet hair was down on her shoulders to her back, her cold eyes softening while looking at you with a subtle surprised expression. While the shorter one with shoulder length hair checked you out, eyes going up and down with an amused expression. You felt slightly embarrassed, they were rich and hot!? Fuck you felt like you didn't belong, especially since the two sisters were clearly full blooded alphas, you could smell their strong furious scent a mile away. They didn't want to come and have a stupid family meeting but their thoughts immediately changed as they saw you for the first time. The newly married couple smiled in excitement, wanting for their daughters to get along like they always hoped. Your step-father cleared his throat and introduced his daughters to you.
"Y/n, these are my daughters, Jimin and Minjeong. They're a little older than you but I'm sure you three will get along!" He said to you with a large smile, tone evidently happy and excited. You simply nodded while looking down, avoiding eye contact as you were still feeling anxious from the intense stares by your step sisters. The tall man noticed and coughed, changing his tone. "Girls, this is Y/n, I'm hoping for you oldest to treat her with hospitality and kindness." His face looking serious, like hinting that they shouldn't mess with his 'warning' like statement. They hummed in unison, their eyes not leaving you. Your mom just bowed at the two young girls and tapped the mans shoulders, signaling for him and her to leave and let you three get to know each other more freely. So with that, the two left the large living room, the thick tension deafening your ears.
"Well... hello then step sister. My name is Minjeong, as my father said but you can call me Winter!" She introduced herself with a big smile, her hands on your shoulders for support. Surprise, you nodded flustered from how close she was from you face. 'So if she's Minjeong, the taller girl behind her must be Jimin' you thought to yourself while looking at the feline girl, noticing her eyebrows slightly furrowing at her sister. She came closer to the both of you and placed her hand on Minjeongs shoulder while side eyeing her coldly.
"And that makes me Jimin, you can call me Karina" Her voice deep and shallow, comparing the two, you could already tell who was older from their opposite demeanors. But you kept your mouth shut, assuming something can be deadly. Minjeong scoffed at her and pulled you closer, intertwining her arms around your neck. "How cold rina! Didn't you hear what Dad said? He said treat her with hospitality and kindness!" You wanted to die right then and there, you were sure the blush on your face was visible, almost making you look like a tomato and Minjeongs scent was so strong it started to make your mind go blank. You looked at Jimin, her face filled with annoyance, she noticed your stare and looked back at you, her expression contorting and going soft.
With a sigh she apologized and held your hand, slightly pulling you away from Minjeong. "Sorry for my rudeness, this is just how I greet people. I hope you didn't take it the wrong way." This time, Minjeong was the one who's pissed, she rolled her eyes and gently pulled you back. "Hm, I didn't know you were capable of apologies, is our new little sister an exception or do you just not want to look bad?" She asked with a sly grin, intentions clear that she wants to make Jimin look like a horrible person. You heard a low growl from the taller girl, coming closer to Minjeong with a sharp glare.
-
With that the competition of winning you over started the day they saw you. From the small things of quick physical touch, flirtatious remarks trying to seduce you, and strong stares when you're wearing something that's semi revealing or just hugging your curves. For them, your curves were perfect, how could they not stare? And of course, some days your two older step-sisters would race each other on asking you if they could sleep in your room, for some stupid reasons and which would lead to them glaring at each other and basically throwing insults until you tell them that they both can sleep with you for the night. The only rule was no snoring and funny business while you were asleep, you cherished your rest and you don't like getting waked up in the middle of the night. This was their chance to snuggle on to you and smell your precious scent, stating that they feel cold even though the duvet covers are warm and thick protecting them to any freezing temperatures.
You just let them do whatever they want with you, you can't just forget that they're still older than you and you still want to please them. As time went on Jimin decided to cut her hair to a short wolf cut, you thought that she was just feeling bored of her long hair but the truth is she over heard you in your room talking to your friends, stating that you find short hair on girls are attractive. She's that down bad for you. While Minjeong decided to grow her hair out, wanting for you to braid your hair into each others since you mother said that you loved doing that in the past. If simps were people, these two were its embodiment.
Now back to the present where you are currently going insane, not knowing what to do while your mind was spinning and going in and out of reality. Warm tears started to form in your eyes as you felt pressure, you loved them but you were just too scared! Whimpers were heard outside the room, making the two older girls worry, they agreed and decided to finally help you and maybe confess their love to you. As if it wasn't already obvious.
"Y/n... We're coming in, we don't want you to keep hurting." Jimin said as she unlocked the door, a gust of pheromones hitting them making their troubles in their boxers get worse. You lie on your bed trembling while clutching on to the fabrics if the sheets, trying to hold on to something.
"aw poor baby" Minjeong cooed, sitting on the edge of the bed pulling your body up gently wanting to kiss you, she held back, feeling scared that you'll reject it. Your tears rolled down your cheeks, feeling so vulnerable and guilty, you hated stealing their attention, you never felt worthy of their worry. Jimin went behind you and hugged you waist, going down on the crook of your neck and inhaled aggressively, hands trying not to give in to the temptation of touching and embracing your beautiful body.
"Baby... You shouldn't be so shy about these types of things. Please let us help you" She whispered all so softly to your sensitive ears, your pussy clenched in nothing as her deep voice made you even more needy. Whining as the tears kept rolling down your soft cheeks, Minjeong immediately kissed them dry as her knee got in between your shaking legs, making you feel some friction. You moaned out so lewdly, they both cursed under their breath with their cocks wanting to get inside of you and just fuck you until they're dry. "Unnie please... mhm" Without even realizing it, you started to spread your legs for Minjeong, feeling so hopelessly weak with your heart and body basically screaming for the touch of your older sisters. Minjeong and Jimins head perked up with excitement of you finally opening up, Jimins hands slowly roamed around your body while trying to rub her rock hard cock on your back hoping to get some tension. She cupped you beautiful breast with her other hand on your wet pussy, fingers gently circling on your clit. Fuck she couldn't wait anymore, she wanted to feel you and hear you scream her name.
Minjeong kissed your cheeks and slowly went down to your neck, feeling so happy that she can touch you like she have always wanted! "Oh god... I've wanted to kiss you and cherish you my princess, let us help you okay?" You moaned and shook your head in agreement, the two older girls started to undress you, night gown getting thrown out to the floor, you weren't wearing a bra and so they got to kiss your wonderful breasts with full passion like they've always wanted. They were basically eating every part of your body!! Being so excited and sometimes rough with you, they needed you so bad.
You completely gave into Jimins hold and pulled Minjeong closer to you, their warmth wrapping around your body. "Please touch me unnie, I need you both" A switch flicked in their head, with those simple words, they immediately went into breeding mode. Jimin nipped on your neck while roughly kneading your breasts with urgency, like this was the last time she'd be able to feel you. But you won't let that happen to your precious unnies. "Hm... You smell so good baby... You always do" Jimin complimented, moaning at her praise you called out to her, meeting her sharp gaze in a trance and kisses her passionately, placing your hand on the back of her neck. Minjeong however focused on your wet pussy, spreading your legs wider and going down on your throbbing cunt, she inhaled your addicting scent making you moan loud in Jimins mouth. "So fucking good fuck..." Minjeong growled, impatiently taking your panties off and ate your slippery cunt like there was no tomorrow. With your two unnies giving your sensitive body attention while the sun was setting, it was magical setting. Jimin kept praising you, whispering how good you were taking Minjeong, how cute you were when you were getting pleasured, and asking you questions that will lead to you answering in a soft whine, all while her finger tips wers drawing on your smooth stomach and other hand still on your soft breasts.
"My baby sister, do you like getting fucked like this? Do you want Rina-unnies cock?" She cooed, her mischievous smirk showed how much she enjoyed watching you getting fucked. Your mouth trembled, this was all so new to you, you'd just normally take pills to get through your heat but your mom forgot to buy you new ones for this month and so you only got informed during your heat. "Y-yes...yes I want u-unnies co- A-ah!" You tried to answer but failed due to Minjeongs wonderful tongue entering inside your tight hole, her eyes fixated on you. Your taste was making her go wild, you were far too much addicting! With the overwhelming pleasure coming to you, your legs tighten around Minjeongs head hoping to get some kind of support. But with the puppy like girls needs in tasting all of you and making you cum for her hard, she placed her hands on your inner thighs and pushed them on the bed leaving her more space for your sensitive pussy. She thrusted her tongue in and out of you while Jimin circled her fingers on your clit making you jolt.
"Unnie!- ah please... I'm close!" You screamed as your stomach started to bubble up in pleasure, you arched your back getting ready to cum, Jimin made you face her and roughly kiss you, moaning into her mouth while her tongue fought with yours. Minjeong was determined to make you cum, she went faster, and so did Jimin. Finally having the chance to release, you came hard with strings of moans and whines following, body shaking with your hips bucking onto winters mouth. Minjeong sat up kissed you deeply, passion in her tongue to make you taste yourself "Good job baby, mind to have one more, just for me?" Jimin kissed your ears and waited for your answer with loving eyes. You can't help but submit to them, your pussy was clenching on nothing and the need of getting filled up by your step-sisters just fueled the fire inside of you.
"Y-yes unnie" You whispered, their cocks were suffocating in their pants. Seeing and hearing you break from such orgasm left their member impatient. Switching their positions, Jimin positioned herself in between your legs and brought her huge cock out, smirking at the cute sight of you with tears and a hint of blush on your beautiful face. Minjeong made you go on all fours, facing her with her cock leaking with pre cum inches close to your face. You basically drooled at the wonderful sight, panting, you sticked your tongue out wanting to taste Minjeongs large dick. She chuckled with a pleased smile,
"Cutie baby, are you excited? You don't know how long we've waited for this moment!" Minjeong said, bawling your hair up and slowly inching you forward to her cock, you licked her cute tip, moaning at her taste. While Jimin placed her hand on your back as the other to your hip, getting ready to ram into you, "Hm... We ached for you Y/n, days on days fucking ourselves with the thought of you being all ours" Jimin entered your dripping wet cunt, slowly stretching you out. Her cock felt so good in you! You could basically feel her veins throbbing in your pussy. She thrusted slow but so hard, emphasizing on the skin on skin lewd sound with your gagged moan as Minjeong rammed her cock into the back of your throat. The two older sisters were too impatient to feel you!
With their incredible rhythm, the two of them fucked both of your holes while moaning and cursing, as their wish finally came true, Jimin went closer to your back and kissed the back of your neck, trailing up to your sensitive ear, "S-so fucking good baby... Fuck I want to impregnate you so bad..." The older girl growled while fastening her thrusting pace, your g-spot getting abused hard while Minjeong is basically using you as a flesh light not letting you breath properly. "Hm... Our baby sister is so cute taking the both of us so good, I think she deserves our w-wonderful seed in her holes right Jiminnie?" Minjeong stuttered with the feeling of your mouth was making her brain go insane, coming close to her release. Jimin chuckled as she gripped your hips harder, sitting up and fucking you with hard and fast thrusts making you choke with your saliva drooling on the sides of your mouth. "Fuck... Fuck.. fuck!!" Jimin grunted as she was also close, determined to fill you up with her warm and thick cum. While Minjeongs hips started to quicken her pace as she closed her eyes, throwing her head back while moaning your name over and over again.
Tears fell on your soft and puffy cheeks, you were so close, you wanted the feeling of your step sisters cum in you over and over again! But the feeling was all too much for the three of you, Jimin growled and finally came in your pussy as Minjeong fed her cum to you and pulled out, her semen going directly on your face and on to your breasts. The sight of you were too much! They couldn't get enough of you, immediately after that euphoric sex they wen on with different positions with you, making you wonder how much of a high sex drive and stamina they have!
As Minjeong marked your smooth neck, she growled as she was finally feeling your wonderful tight pussy. Jimin making out with you while you gave her a handjob, running out of breath you pulled away. She can't help but blush at your cute face, doe eyes glistening with tears with your rosey lips slightly apart, both of your tits making contact as Minjeong was fucking you from behind.
"U-unnie I'm close!" You screamed, the familiar feeling in your stomach forming, Minjeongs thrusts changed as her pace was felt with urgency to make you come. "Good girl, cum baby. Make us proud" The raven girl said as she kissed your nose, with one last thrust you and Minjeong shivered in pleasure, your juices squirted as she completely came inside you, while you felt warm cum running down on your hand, Jimin came as well, with soft moans and trembling hip making you stop from stroking her thick cock, Minjeong is still in you, being a plug for her and Jimins cum inside of your cunt. Somehow it made you feel a sense of comfort.
Jimin showered you with kisses, praising you while Minjeong licked your ear and whispered thank you's for making her cum so good. You felt warm with their embrace! Happy tears forming in your eyes, you tried to hide them by hiding in the crook of Jimins neck but the two of them immediately notices and asks what's the matter.
"Were we too rough baby?"
"Are your hurting? Tell us my love"
Their concern made you feel so loved, shaking your head, you both smiled at them and stopped hiding,
"I felt nothing but happiness and pleasure, thank you for helping me unnies, I love you so much" You confessed with the tears flowing down, their eyes widened as they smiled so wide, they've been waiting for those words for months!!
"We love you too Y/n" They both said in unison kissing your cheeks and marking your nape. With your two older step sisters comfort you felt happy and safe, hoping for the three of you to make more memories together <3
...
"Mhm... Baby can you take us both inside of you?"
Maybe a little too soon for new memories (â=â'')

Five Hargreeves x Fem!reader Synopsis: Five has a rather outrageous crush on his niece's tutor, so Lila and Diego decide to set them up by inviting her to their daughter's birthday party. Word Count: 1.7K Tags: Fluff, season 4, Crackfic, everyone knows they like each other but they are being stupid Note: sorry this took so long to come out, i had half written in august but only finished it now, not really proofread yet so mind any mistakes!
âYou came!â the delighted voice of Grace Hargreeves shouted out as the girl bounded her way toward you. Enveloping you in a larger-than-life hugÂ
âOf course I did! I told you I would, didnât I?â you questioned the girl, struggling to hug her back with her present in your hands.Â
âYes, but-â the girl started, not able to meet your eyes, embarrassed at her thoughtsÂ
âBut nothing!â you quickly interrupted her. âNow go play with your friends. I need to find your mom or dad and figure out where to put your present.â You shooed the girl away towards her friends.Â
Luckily, you didnât need to look far, Lila spotted you almost immediately after her daughter left you. The woman quickly made her way over to you with a large smile on her face, mirroring her daughters. She quickly pulled you into an excited hug before pulling away and taking the present off your hands.Â
âSo glad you could come, Grace had been asking repeatedly if her favourite tutor was coming.â Â
âIâm her only tutor?â you questionedÂ
âThatâs what I said!â The woman laughed, glee apparent in her features as she grabbed your hand with the one not carrying your present, walking you towards where all the adults were unfortunately stationed watching the children, some looking like they would rather be anywhere else.Â
âDiego!â Lila called out to her husband, who quickly turned towards her, his smile widening when he noticed you stood next to her. He quickly hugged you in greeting before turning his attention to his wife.Â
âWhere did you put the pinata? Luther and I are going to set it up.âÂ
âUm,â Lila looked around, spinning around in a circle to survey the area when her gaze locked onto someone near the ball pit. âFive!â The woman called out, waiting for him to look at her before she continued, âCan you bring the pinata over? Thanks!â She quickly called out before rushing off, mumbling something about needing to get the cake.
The man in question quickly made his way over, holding a very familiar-looking piĂąataÂ
âIs that an east side piĂąata?â you questioned as Five handed it over to Diego, who looked at you with so much relief you thought you could've saved his life
âYes,â he practically shouted in glee. âYes, it is!â looking around smugly for someone, but you weren't sure whoÂ
âYou might need a bit of a heavier hand with that then. At my younger cousin's birthday last week, it took an adult to hit it for the candy to come out,â you warned the older man. He simply nodded, walking off to put it up, a large smile still present on his face,Â
âHiâ the man you were left with almost whispered, believing that he would scare you off if he came on too strong.Â
âHi, Five,â you smiled in greeting, âI haven't seen you at the house recently. Been busy?â you replied. Truthfully, wanting to keep talking to the attractive man,Â
âYeah, sorry, been working overtime at the CIA, sure you understandâ he smiled slightly at your attention to his lack of presence lately. Making him believe that maybe Lila and Diego were right about your reciprocation of feelings towards him
âHow has University been?â he questioned, wanting to keep the conversation goingÂ
âVery goodâ, you respond. Hand on hips at his disbelief in your answer, shock evident on your face âHonestly!â you smile,
âI mean, I'm on Christmas break at the moment, so thereâs not much to do other than tutoring.â You shrug your shoulders, trying to hint to the man that maybe the two of you could spend some time together. But before Five could reply, Klaus came bouldering over with Claire.Â
âFive! Lovely to see you!âÂ
The man greets his brother, Klaus, you quickly learn from Five's replyÂ
âAnd this is?â Klaus asks, gesturing towards you when Claire whispers to him.Â
Klaus âThe tutor! We have heard so much about you!â
âReally?â you questioned, looking down at your feet in nervousness. âI didn't know Grace spoke about me so much.â
âOh, not from Grace-â Klaus began, a large cheeky smile covering his face. But he was quickly interrupted by the feeling of a hand on his gloved one, causing him to pause in alarm. When he was quickly dragged away by Claire, her eyes wide in alarm, while Five was glaring at him with such ire you could imagine Hades opening up hell for whoever was at the other end of it.
âIt was lovely to meet youâ, he shouted as his niece pulled him further away from you.
You smiled, a clumsy laugh tumbling out as you looked at Five, his hands covering his face in annoyance, but a clear smile was present on his face when he removed his hands, but before either of you could say anything more, a familiar head of hair came running towards you.
âHow is the birthday girl doing?â you ask, ruffling her hair as she smiles widely at you.
âAmazing, but I would feel even better if you watched me go down the slideâ, the girl replied cheekily, making a small scoff come out of her uncle's mouth at her words.Â
âWell, we can't have the birthday girl not be at max amazingness, can we?â you teased as she led away from Five and towards the play area. An apologetic smile on your face as you left him, hoping that it wasn't the last time you would speak to him today. Â
ââ â§
You didnât see the brunette again until much later, stood by the ball pit after having escaped the herd of parents asking you intrusive questions, you were sure you wouldâve blown a fuse if anyone else asked why you were still single as you were âsuch a lovely girl.âÂ
âFinally freed yourself from the lionesses, I seeâ, Five joked as he came to stand next to you, beer in hand. âIt seems Klaus has not been so lucky.â You looked over to see that they had now set their sights on the boy crowding around him like paparazzi.Â
âRemind me to stay clear of that side of the room,â you complained, hands rubbing at your temples in worry that they would begin to hurt âThere's only so long I can handle being asked about my lack of boyfriend before I strangle one of them,â you admitted, not catching the man's smile at your words.
âDonât worry, I'll protect you,â he proclaimed.
âYes, I'm sure you will be much a deterrent to the herd of mamas,â you joked, laughing at his recoil, head shaking in amazement at your goading.
âYou really know how to make someone feel good about themselves, don't you?â he teasedÂ
âClearlyâ, you smiled, sarcasm laced heavily in your response.
The balls in the ball pool quickly flew up as a man emerged from them, causing you to jump back in alarm as Luther popped his head up from below, a large smile on his face at catching you off guard, eyebrows raising slightly as he noticed his brother stood next to you. After a laugh, you spoke pleasantries with the man, trying to ignore Five's hard glare that he was directing at him. The younger-looking male sighed loudly, causing the two of you to look towards him, the eye contact made the man go red in embarrassment before clearing his throat, looking exacerbated.Â
âI thought you were helping Diego set up the pinata?â
âI was?â The larger man questioned, eyes wide as he looked around the party, clearly alarmed that he wasn't doing what Five had mentioned, scampering out of the ball pit when he saw Diego, but before he could make his way over, Diego called out for everyone to come over for the game so the three of you slowly made your way towards the growing group of children and adults. Five made sure to lead you over to an area with less noisy parents, making you smile in thanks as he grabbed you by the small of the back to lead you away when a parent tried to call out for you.  Â
To say the next few moments were a disaster would be an understatement, mirroring your earlier words as the pinata was from the east side no matter how hard Grace or her friends would hit the object, it wouldn't break. Luther, clearly wanting to make it up to Diego for missing the memo to help him, tried to use his strength to break the Pinata, and while the Pinata did break, so did the birthday cake. Bits of it went everywhere like a volcano explosion, covering all the guests, much to the children's joy and parents' horror.Â
You now stood off to the side, trying to get any larger pieces of cake out of your hair, laughing at the furious faces of the other adults. When Five gave you a napkin, you smiled, letting out a quiet appreciation as you wiped at your face. Feeling that you had gotten enough off, you turned to the boy, laughing at his cake-covered face.
âHere,â you said, moving to wipe some cake off his cheek with the napkin, trying to contain your giggles, he smiled brightly as you moved away from him slightly, his own hand coming to tuck a strand of hair full of icing behind your ears and then regretfully retracting his hand
âDo you wanna get out of here? Maybe go to a coffee shop where my siblings won't interrupt us every few minutes?â he asked, fingers fidgeting with nerves.Â
âLike a date?â you questioned, trying not to get your hopes up, smiling up at him, head tilting slightly to the left as you pondered his words.
âIf you wantâ he replied pensively.Â
âI doâ, you quickly rebutted, smiling as the boy led you towards the door with a matching grin on his own face.
ââ â§
âI told you he would ask her out tonight,â Diego spoke smugly, watching as his brother helped you put on your coat, his wife watching, annoyed beside him.
âI thought it wouldâve taken him until our Christmas party.â Lila rebutted, clearly annoyed that she had lost
âBut I suppose it is about time you won one of our betsâ, she replied smugly, quickly lowering Diego down a peg as the two watched you and Five leave their daughters' birthday party, hands intertwined.

(dad!eddie x mom!reader)
Summary: Eddie has to shower before he can hold his impatient baby. She's having none of it.
a/n: i was attacked by yet ANOTHER cute baby tiktok so here we are with a little bit of grease monkey!eddie and another little drabble. set in the early days of the pennyverse. and yes, i've used this gif before but he's dead so i'm running out of them. mistakes might be fixed later, i dont know :)
âAre these your little fingers?â You asked your baby, tone saturated in honey and affection as you held the chunky palm in question, lips pressed to her pudgy fingertips.Â
Despite your aversion to it prior to your pregnancy, youâd inevitably developed a baby voice when Penny had come into the world and you couldnât be blamed. Not when she was all squish, delicate cheeks holding so much chub they bulged, and rolls decorated her little limbs. She was a glutton, always demanding your milk and you couldnât deny her; those big, gorgeous eyes sheâd inherited from her father made it nearly impossible to, even when the wetness welling up in them were completely alligator tears. And those curls.Â
Regardless of taming them with some water, a brush and maybe some vaseline, they ended up wild, flying about or mussed and matted to her head with sweat because your baby was a little heater when she slept and napped. Just like her daddy.
Your smile widened in size when you heard the sound of keys slotting into place at the front door, the lock mechanism giving away. It tripled when you realized your baby also recognized the sound, head turning to stare at the door as she bobbed in place, thick legs squatting and then popping back up as you held her by her waist with your other hand, assisting her with standing.
The moment Eddie opened the door and came into view she began cooing and squealing in excitement, mouth parting in a wide smile as drool raced down from the corner of her mouth.
You laughed, and so did Eddie as he heard his baby welcoming him home.
âYou excited to see me, sweet pea?â He cooed right back, walking over to squat in front of the two of you, eyes raking over you momentarily in appreciation before focusing on the little one in your arms.Â
She let out another long coo that ended on an airy sigh, pulling her hand from your grasp to reach both of her pudgy ones out to him, practically begging him to hold her as she began wiggling in your arms.
Eddieâs head tilted, lips curling into the most tender smile as he stared down at her with nothing but love swimming in those eyes heâd shared with her.Â
âDaddy missed you and mommy so much.â He whispered, a hand reaching out, almost close enough to caress her soft cheek but it hesitated before he could touch her. His rough, grease covered finger was a stark contrast to her clean, smooth skin. Clearly, youâd given her a bath before he got home because her mouth and cheeks were usually covered in the food you were starting to offer her (sometimes baby food, but mostly bits of your food because she wouldnât accept any offerings of mushed up veggies and fruits if there was something else on your plate, hence why your diet had been pretty bland and not at all a result of the tight budget your maternity leave left you on).
The rest of his hands were no better, palms stained, streaks all over his arms as a result of shucking the top half of the monkey suit and rolling up his sleeves at the garage.Â
There were even a few streaks of grease and maybe oil on his face and neck. Your husband smelled more so of tires than he had the spicy cologne that surrounded you when heâd kissed you goodbye in bed this morning.Â
 And he knew it.
Penny didnât let that stop her, still eagerly reaching out for him as she grunted to try and provoke him in swooping her up into his embrace.
âAs soon as daddyâs clean, okay? Iâll pick you up and my sweet girl can give me all the cuddles she wants.â He promised, hands on his knees before he stood back up, leaning over her to give you a sweaty, greasy oh so sweet and firm press of the lips kiss before he swiveled around and disappeared into the small bathroom as quickly as he could to be out of hearing range when Penny began whimpering at his absence.Â
You heard the shower start running at the exact moment she began to cry and you offered a sympathetic whine of your own as you adjusted your grip on her, bringing Penny up to your chest, your cheek smushed against her more plump one.
âShhhâŚitâs okay, my love. Daddyâs just showering. Heâll be back.â You stood up, hitching Penny on your hip as you walked to the entrance of the small hallway so the bathroom door was visible to her. Eddieâs humming floated out from underneath the crack of it.Â
Penny was Eddieâs daughter, alright, full of dramatics as her breathing remained heavy, chest rising and falling quickly with the hitches in her breath as a chunky fist gripped onto your blouse, lower lip curling out and wobbling. She didnât seem satisfied with your explanation but that didnât worry you. If Penny was awake when Eddie left for work in the morning, sheâd start bawling.Â
The first couple of times sheâd started reacting to his departure, heâd ended up full of guilt and late to work. It still wasnât easy for him, even after youâd finally convinced him sheâd have the same reaction whether he left in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Regardless of the time, she was going to be upset that she wouldnât be able to see her daddy, probably convinced in her little baby mind that heâd abandoned her (heâd nearly quit the shop when youâd phrased it like that) but heâd always come home to herâand youâand thatâs what mattered.
You were positive sheâd start yelling and shrieking when it came time for you to go back to work, too. She was just a baby, so she was being a baby.
You carried your huffing and puffing daughter back to the living room, placing her down on the carpet in front of some toys she had been playing with earlier in the day. Maybe theyâd distract her.
 Wrong.
She sat on the carpet, chunky legs strewn out for just a few seconds before she was moving forward onto her belly and propping herself up. Then she was off, crawling as fast as she could towards the hallway while breathing heavily with exhilaration. You trailed after her, amused at how stubborn she was when she stopped directly in front of the bathroom door, propping herself up on her bottom.
You watched Penny reach out with shaky palms, pressing them gently against the door. It looked like they were feeling around it before she began slapping them against it as hard as she could as she yelled her baby babble, no doubt demanding her daddy open the door, pick her up and love her right now.
Giggles were muffled into your palm, as she kept up with it.Â
Eventually, maybe when she realized that wasnât working, Penny leaned over, wiggling around until she was on her tummy and the side of her head was resting on the carpet. You realized she was trying to look under the door for him and your heart clenched, hand flying over your chest as if you could grasp the organ.
You expected her to sit back up and go back to smacking the door but she remained there, a stubby finger absentmindedly trailing through the carpet as she stared through the thin crack, warm bathroom light and Eddieâs voice flooding out from underneath to comfort her as she waited.
Picking her up had crossed your mind, and so did the idea of how loudly sheâd probably start screaming and crying if you did.Â
The two of you didnât have to wait for long, the shower shut off and you could hear the sounds of the shower curtain rings scraping against the rod as Eddie pulled them back.Â
Panic briefly filled your chest as you realized Eddie probably wasnât expecting his baby to be lying on the floor directly outside of the bathroomâheâd step on her, so you called out, âHeads up, Eddie, youâve got a visitor.â
You didnât hear a response, but a few moments later, the door opened to reveal your husband. Water droplets slipped down his neck and chest. He had one towelâthat had definitely seen better daysâwrapped around his waist and another (yours) he was using to scrunch up his sopping wet curls to dry them.
Eddie had heard you, shooting you a smirk before he addressed the baby beaming up at him, âShowerâs free if you wanna hop in, stinky.â
Penny had no idea what he was saying, it didnât matter anyways because he said it in the same voice he used when he gave her kisses and held her to his chest so she was reaching up for him and he finally reached downâwith clean handsâgrasping her sides before she was hoisted into his arms. Penny wasted no time, mouth parting wide to mouth aggressively at his face and chin while she shook her head and wiggled about.
 She was giving him kisses.
Or trying to eat him, she had little bursts of energy where sheâd do thatâattack you out of nowhere while you held her causing the both of you to break out laughing.
Eddie let her get it all out, and when she cooed, resting her cheek on his shoulder, he retaliated. Her cheeks and little neck rolls were smattered in his smacking kisses as she squealed and shrieked and wiggled but there was no escaping her daddyâs clutches now that she was finally in them.Â
When every inch of her available to him had been kissed, he turned towards you and you suddenly found yourself victim to two sets of identical crinkly brown eyes. A deep chuckle rumbled from Eddie as he padded over to where you stood, mischievous smirk making another appearance.
 âMommyâs turn.â

not a request per se but something i started thinking about when you said you were bringing back dad!james. i feel bad for Henryâs mom because being a mom at 20 sounds so hard. iâm 20 right now and i canât imagine taking care of a child. i want her to get a happy ending but iâm also thinking about her running into james and darling with henry, being the family she couldnât give them. i feel like that would sting, like even if she is content with her life and doesnât regret her decision to leave it would still hurt that her fears about y/n and james came true after she left. i canât imagine having a baby with a man whoâs been secretly (even subconsciously) in love with another woman. like i hope that henryâs mom can eventually be on good terms with james and y/n and even be apart of henryâs life, even if it isnât in a parental capacity
also hi elina! hope youâre doing well and taking care of yourself
hugs and kisses- m
Dad!James Potter x Bsf!Reader âź 776 words
my darling m! i picked this request next bc i saw it was from you!
âI think weâve gotten everything.â You mutter to yourself as you review the shopping list, noting the blend of your handwriting and James's. Itâs a small detail, but it still makes your heart skip a beat. Though itâs only been a few months since you and James started dating, the sense of being a family feels natural. It might seem quick to some, but with you and James, it simply feels right.
âWe forgot biscuits.â You glance over at Henry, who is gripping your hand tightly and nodding enthusiastically as if what heâs just said is sheer brilliance.
âDid we? I didn't see that written down.â You hum, peering into the trolley filled with groceries, sorting through the items mentally.
âDaddy probably forgot,â Henry chimes in, sending you a cheeky grin. âHe forgets them a lot.â
You laugh softly at Henryâs comment about James, the warmth of his words brightening your mood. âWeâll get them,â you agree, your voice playful. âBut only as a treat for your lunches. I canât believe you start your first year of school next week.âÂ
Thereâs a squeak of wheels, and you turn your head, curious about the sound. To your surprise, youâre met with the wide-eyed gaze of a woman about your age, staring at you with a look of disbelief. Your stomach knots as you realize who she is: James's ex and Henryâs mum.
âHi.â You say, the word feeling awkward as soon as it leaves your lips. You immediately wish you could take it back, knowing thereâs a good chance she might not want to engage with you right now. Her eyes dart between you and Henry, and she seems momentarily at a loss, opening and closing her mouth as if searching for the right thing to say.
âUm, hi.â She finally responds, shifting uncomfortably on her feet. Her gaze is filled with a mix of curiosity and hesitation.
âMummy, who is that?â Henry asks, tugging insistently at your hand to get your attention. His innocent question hangs in the air as you look down at him, your heart sinking at the uncomfortable tension.
Glancing back up at her, you open your mouth to respond, but the words seem to elude you, leaving you in an awkward silence.
âIâm just an old friend,â She speaks up, sending you a quick glance. âI went to school with your mum and dad.â
Henry looks up at her with wide eyes, absorbing her words. âOh,â he replies, his curiosity momentarily satisfied.
âHow isââ She clears her throat, her eyes briefly filled with a hint of regret as she glances back down at Henry. âHow is James?âÂ
To distract Henry, you hand him your phone, and his face lights up with excitement at the chance of playing a game. You didnât let him play games on your phone very often.
âHeâs good,â You smile softly. âHeâs a bit emotional. Henry starts school next week.â
âOh.â She murmurs, her voice soft and tinged with a note of hesitation. For a moment, you brace yourself, worried she might become upset. But then she continues, her eyes meeting yours with an earnest look. âListen, I know I have no right to say this anymore, but I want to thank you. For doing what I couldnât and bringing happiness to both of them.â
She takes a deep breath, her gaze flickering to Henry, who is absorbed in the game on your phone. âItâs obvious youâre doing an amazing job,â she says, her smile carrying a mix of sadness and sincerity. âI donât even need to see James to know heâs happier than heâs ever been. All heâs ever wanted is you.â
She offers you a soft, understanding smile, and you swallow hard, fighting back tears. âI donât even know what to say,â you admit, your voice trembling slightly.
âYou donât have to say anything,â she says, her voice thick with emotion. âI know James and I didnât part on the best terms, and I said things I shouldnât have. But I want you to know that Iâm truly glad he has you, even though I didnât feel that way at the time.â She offers a tearful smile, her eyes glistening. âYou make a beautiful family.â
You barely manage to choke out a response, wishing her the best, before she turns and walks away down the aisle. Left standing there in shock, you feel Henryâs curious gaze on you. He looks up as he hears your soft sniffle.
âAre you sad, mummy?â He asks, his voice filled with concern.
âNo, sweetheart,â you reply, managing a gentle smile. âIâm alright. Letâs go find some biscuits for you.â
please consider reblogging or leaving a comment! it keeps me motivated to write! đ

as soon as satoru comes home, you can tell that somethingâs troubling him.
he greets the three of you quietly, pressing a kiss to the top of your head and telling you to start dinner without him.
when he turns away, you quickly catch his hand. âyou havenât eaten since lunch. just have a littleââ
âiâm not hungry,â he excuses quickly, offering you a weak smile. âiâm just going to lie down for a bit.â
he gently pulls his hand from your grasp, heading toward the bedroom without another word.
âsomethingâs wrong with him,â tsumiki murmurs, picking up her chopsticks as you and megumi watch him go.
âheâs just tired,â you assure her. âheâll be okay.â
you hope they donât notice the worry behind your easy expression. you know that satoru is strong and that heâs powerful beyond measure, but strength means nothing when you give someone a piece of your heart. the worry just never goes away.
he doesnât get out of bed for the rest of the evening, and you donât make him. after dinnerâs been cleaned up and the kids are winding down for bed, you tiptoe into the bedroom to check on him.
the lights are off and the curtain is drawn, with satoruâs uniform dropped carelessly onto the floor. you quietly shut the door behind you, and once your eyes adjust to the dark, you see him laying in bed, staring up at the ceiling.
âhey,â you whisper, laying next to him. you scoot closer, pressing a kiss to his shoulder and gently slotting yourself against him. âwhatâs going on?â
his answer comes quietly, so soft you almost miss it. âsome stuff came up when i was talking to yaga today. aboutâŚsuguru.â
you want him to say more, to elaborate, but the far away look in his eyes tells you that nowâs not the time. it also tells you that thereâs nothing you can say, because words donât mean much when you miss someone.
so the two of you lay in silence. a comfortable one, where the need to talk just to fill space isnât necessary when youâre close to someone.
âi was supposed to take tsumiki out to buy a gift for her friend,â he sighs lolling his head to the side to look at you. âbut iâŚi just need a day.â
âitâs okay,â you nod, tracing mindless patterns across his chest. âiâll take her.â
âthank you,â he murmurs, taking your hand and placing a kiss on each of your knuckles.
âdonât thank me yet,â you say, tapping the tip of his nose. âbecause that means youâre staying home with a moody preteen.â
_____
âmom says iâm not supposed to bother you.â
satoru peels one eye open to see megumi leaning over him, a blank look on the kidâs face.
âso whatâs wrong with you?â
ânothing,â he grunts, sliding his sunglasses over his eyes to resume his wallowing. âgo do your homework or something.â
megumi, naturally, doesnât listen. instead, he grabs satoruâs ankles, shoving them off the couch so he can sit.
âhey!â he protests, sitting up. âwhat gives?â
âtsumiki says itâs good to talk about things,â he says matter-of-factly.
satoru shakes his head, blowing out a harsh breath. ânot now, alright? i donât want to talk about it.â
megumi looks over at him with an inquisitive expression, tapping his fingertips against the arm of the couch before tentatively saying,
âmom said you lost someone.â
sometimes he forgets that you and megumi talk.
âkind of,â he answers vaguely.
âdid your friend die?â
sometimes he thinks suguru might as well have. âno, he didnât. he left andâŚi guess he just doesnât want to be found.â
megumi leans back into the couch with a sigh. âmy dad is like that. he left a long time ago, and i guess he doesnât want to be found either.â
thereâs a lump in satoruâs throat, guilt weighing heavy on his shoulders. he canât have this conversation. not now, not without tsumiki, and especially not without you.
he clears his throat, leaning forward to ruffle the kidâs hair. âwell, iâm here.â
megumi swats at his hand, wrinkling his nose as he tries to fix the mess on his head. âyeah, i know.â
then, in a move that seems to take both of them by surprise, megumi closes the distance between them and wraps him in a hug.
satoru definitely does not tear up.

Back Together | Bucky Barnes
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x female reader, (husband!Bucky Barnes x wife!reader, dad!Bucky Barnes x mom!reader)
Word count: 2.4k
Warnings/Tags: Bucky being dad and hubby material, fluff, angst maybe?
Summary: Bucky and reader are married and have two girls, but because of Buckyâs work, reader decides to âbreak upâ and have been separated for a few months. (Letâs say that this âjobâ was when the whole thing with John Walker happened in TFATWS, idfk lol)
A/N: so Iâm currently writing a fanfic (on wattpad) and I had this idea, but Iâm not there on the fanfic just yet lol so I decided to just post it here (also, my first language isnât english so if there are any errors or mistakes, Iâm sorry lmao)
The girls are like 4 and 5 years old and those arenât the names I have planned on using for the fanfic, but itâll do for now.. and Steve is alive and well lol (he doesnât make an appearance, but I do mention him, like I said, this idea came as I was writing a fanfic so what I did was try and edit it a little bit so yall donât need context and shit lol just enjoy okay?)
A/N #2: this is my first time doing this so just bare with me please lmao
Itâs almost 10 pm which means Bucky must be on his way to bring the girls back after having them for the weekend. You were away in Seattle the whole weekend for work, but anyways it was Buckyâs turn to stay with the kids. They were supposed to stay with Wanda tonight, but since you arrived earlier than anticipated, you told her that Bucky was gonna bring them over.
Youâre not on the best terms. Actually, youâre broken up at the moment and have been like that for like three months now. It all started because of Buckyâs âjobâ. You always said that he wasnât being careful with the things he did and you didnât like the constant worrying about him every time he went out to do his things. He didnât really see it that way which made you get into a really bad fight and you decided to break up because he wasnât putting his safety, or his family, as a priority and you didnât like that.
Which was kinda true. So youâre currently not living together. Bucky has been staying with Steve, or with Sam whenever he comes to New York. The girls usually stay with you and then Bucky takes them on the weekends, but whenever you canât take them to school (or get them on time) or something on week days, then Bucky takes them without a problem.
âAre you sure you donât want me to pick them up for you?â Wanda asked while on FaceTime with you
âItâs alright, red, donât worry.â You replied âBesides, Buckyâs probably on his way anyway.â
âStill havenât talked?â
âWell we talk, just not about us.â You said walking out of the kitchen
âAnd are you guys still, like, mad or..?â
âI donât know.â You let out a sigh
âSteve told you he got out.â
âI know.â
âSo?â
âI just.. I donât know, I havenât talked to him about it.â
âWell I think you need to.â She said âJust have a little chat and see where things are at.. you guys still love each other.â
And you did. Of course you did. And the girls want you to get back together too. But you just havenât talked about it again.
âI donât know, Iâll think about it.â You replied and just as you said that, you saw the car lights through the window âHeâs here, I gotta go.â
âCall me if you need anything.â
âI will, love you.â
âLove you more.â
You hung up the call and left the phone on the couch before heading to the door. You opened it and saw Bucky walking over to the house holding Olivia, your youngest, in his arms and Eloise was walking right next to him. And the three of them just looked tired as hell.
âHi mommy.â Eloise ran over to you
âHi, pretty girl.â You immediately hugged her
âSay hi to mama, Liv.â Bucky said as he got closer
âHi mama.â Olivia opened her arms wanting you to pick her up so you did
âHi, my angel.â You kissed her cheek
âSorry to bring them so late, we just got out of the cinema.â Bucky said
âBuck, itâs fine, they donât even go to school yet.â You told him âDid you guys have fun?â You asked the girls
âSo much fun!â Eloise replied excitedly âWe also went to the trampoline park earlier.â
âOh well that explains why someoneâs a little more tired than others.â You looked at Olivia and she rested her head on your shoulder
âMommy, can daddy tuck us in tonight, please?â Eloise asked
âBaby, Iâm sure mommy had a really long and tired flight and she just wants to sleep.â Bucky told her
âItâs fine, donât worry about it.â You said âDaddy will tuck you in, sweetheart.â You tucked a few strands of Eloiseâs hair behind her ear
âDaddy, come on.â She grabbed Buckyâs hand
You all went inside and you gave the girls a quick shower before Bucky helped them get in their pjs.
âMommy, are we staying with auntie Wanda tomorrow?â Eloise asked as she got on her bed
âYes, baby, I need to go to work.â You replied
âCanât we stay with daddy?â
âDaddy works too, honey.â You moved her hair out of her face âI thought you liked staying with auntie Wanda.â
âWe do, but we wanted to stay with daddy again.â Olivia spoke
âWell I can pick you up at auntie Wandaâs house when I get out of work, how does that sound?â Bucky told them
âAnd we can get dippin dots too?â Olivia looked at him with puppy eyes
âWe can get whatever you girls want.â He said squishing her cheeks making her giggle
You couldnât help but smile a little. You loved watching Bucky with the girls, he really is an amazing father and they love him like crazy.
âAlright itâs getting super late, time to sleep.â You said to them
âBut mom!â Eloise pouted
âNo buts, listen to your mom.â Bucky said âCome on, get in bed both of you.â
Each of the girls got in their beds and Bucky went and tucked them both. They have their own separate rooms, but theyâre pretty close and theyâve always wanted to sleep in the same room so when the time came and you bought Olivia her big girl bed, Bucky just placed it in Eloiseâs room. Anyways, when the time comes when they get to the point where they donât even want to look at each other, youâll probably make Bucky move Oliviaâs bed back to her room and problem solved. But for now, they absolutely love being in the same room.
âI love you.â Bucky kissed Oliviaâs forehead âAnd I love you.â He then kissed Eloiseâs âSo so much.â
âWe love you too, daddy.â They said
âNow get some sleep because auntie Wanda is coming early tomorrow to pick you up before I leave.â You leaned down to kiss each of them on their heads âI love you both so insanely much.â
âLove you too, mommy.â
âNow go to sleep or Iâll call the slender man.â Bucky said as he turned off the light
He quickly closed the door once you got out of the room and the girls let out a scream that made you both laugh.
âYouâre evil.â You chuckled âCreating them traumas so young.â
âIt gives them strength.â
You rolled your eyes laughing. âOf course.â
You both went downstairs and then Bucky went back to the car to bring back Oliviaâs shoes and a few toys that the girls left in the car. While you put them on the dining table, Bucky was just telling you what they did and how the girls were on the weekend.
âLiv didnât even asked for my help to wipe her after using the bathroom.â
âNo?!â You looked at him kinda shocked
Potty training Eloise was way easier than training Olivia. First she was afraid of the toilet being flushed, then she was afraid that something would come out and bite her, then she didnât want to stay alone while using the toilet. Itâs been a rollercoaster for all of you.
âNo, she did it all by herself.â
âOh my god, really? Iâm gonna cry.â You said with a hand on your chest
âShe said sheâs a big girl and big girls donât need any help to go potty.â
âShe is a big girl.â You said âFuck, theyâre both getting so big.â
âThey are.â He nodded âHow was Seattle?â
âFucking amazing.â You said excited âItâs so pretty.â
âAnd how did it went? Are they planning on transferring you?â
âHell no, I told Nick Iâm not leaving New York.â You replied âIf we were still living in the compound, then this wouldâve been a whole different conversation, but weâre not and we have kids now so no, Iâm not leaving even if they pay me more.â
âWell if they are paying you more then..â he raised his eyebrows
You laughed. âYou know what I mean, idiot.â You rolled your eyes âBut no, Iâm not being transferred.â
âThen why did you go?â
âNick said that they needed someone like me for some training.â You answered âIt was great, I got to teach a few people about self defense, how exciting.â
âIâm glad.â He said with a small smile
He was genuinely happy for you. He knew how much youâve missed working like that. Being an agent, a spy, you missed it. But at the same time, it wasnât really in your plans anymore ever since you got pregnant with Eloise. It happened during the blip as well so you werenât exactly working as an agent or spy anymore so you just decided to leave it behind for good. Until recently.
âYou know, if itâs really what you want, then go for it.â He told you âThe girls arenât stopping you and neither am I.â
âI know, but itâs just that I feel like Iâm on a different stage in life now.â You said âIt felt fucking amazing, donât get me wrong.â
âThen do it, talk with Nick and tell him to put you out there, thatâs what you want.â
âI donât know.â You let out a sigh
âWeâre not going anywhere, you know that, right?â He said and you looked at him âAnd how cool would it be for the girls to say that their mommy is a spy?â
You laughed. âThey will brag about it for sure.â
âAnd the best part is that youâre great at it and always have been.â
âI donât know, Iâll think about it.â You shrugged looking at the time on the stove âItâs getting very late.â You looked at him
âOuch okay, Iâm leaving.â
âOh my god.â You rolled your eyes
âAre we gonna keep this up?â He looked at you
âWhat?â
âThis nonsense.â He motioned his hand between the two of you
âThis nonsense?â You arched an eyebrow âDo I need to remind you whose fault is it that weâre on this position right now?â
âIt couldâve gone so much better, but little miss Iâm extremely petty over here, doesnât like to listen to people and doesnât care about anything other than her opinion.â He said
âOh donât make me mad, James.â You crossed your arms
âItâs the truth and you know it.â
âI think you can go now.â You said turning around and starting to walk away
âSee what I mean?â You heard him say from behind âCanât we just talk about it like normal people?â He asked following you
âI donât think thereâs anything to talk about.â You said turning around to look at him
âWell I think it is.â
âBucky..â
âY/N, come on.â He sighed âItâs been three months, are you gonna keep pushing me away?â
And heâs right, youâve been kinda pushing him away. To be honest, the whole thing couldâve been avoided if Bucky and you came to an agreement, but you never did. You were upset that he was going away with Sam to do all these things that you werenât okay with and you were thinking about the kids, which, at the moment, he wasnât doing and that pissed you off. That was the whole thing. He didnât want to empathize with the way you were viewing the whole situation and he was kinda making you look crazy. Saying things like âitâs not a big dealâ or âeverything will be alright, you donât need to freak outâ.
How does he expect you to not freak out when he doesnât care about doing all this dangerous things? Was he insane?
In other circumstances, if you didnât have kids for example, maybe you wouldâve been a little bit more okay with it, maybe. But itâs a whole different scenario now.
And you were kinda pushing him away, sort of. But it wasnât intentional, itâs just that you were kinda petty and there were times where he wanted to kinda fix things, but you wouldnât let him because you would find a way to push him away unconsciously.
âYou made me feel like I was exaggerating when I clearly wasnât.â You said
âBecause at the moment I did feel that way and I didnât want to view the situation the way you were.â He explained âAnd I know I was wrong for that and Iâm sorry.â
You let out a sigh. âYou still went.â
âI know, Iâm sorry, I shouldâve stayed here with you, I regretted it the moment I left with Sam.â He said âAnd I came back as soon as I could.â
âAnd you stayed with Steve.â You rolled your eyes
âBaby, you wanted to kill me, do you really think I was just gonna come and ask you to take me back after that shit? Like you were just gonna accept me.â
â⌠Well, youâre kinda right.â
âI know, Steve told me you were pissed and that you wanted to punch me.â
âI did tell him that.â You nodded
âIâm sorry, I really am.â
âItâs fine, just forget it, Iâm sick of the topic anyway.â You replied leaning on the back of the couch
âBut are we fine?â He asked
âI donât know, are we?â
âWell Iâd say we are, kinda.â He got closer to you âYou want me to do anything?â
âYou could start by fixing the damn back door.â
âAgain? But I just fixed it a few months ago.â
âWell I think you did it wrong because the doorknob is broken again.â
âI need to change that fucking door already.â He rolled his eyes âAnything else? Are you still mad at me?â
âA little.â You replied
âJust a little?â He moved his hands to your hips âI can help you change your mind.â
âEasy there, soldier.â
âEasy my ass, come here.â
Before you could even protest, his real hand grabbed your neck and he pulled you in for a kiss that screamed need. You really missed his kisses and just the way he would always give you a peck, whenever and wherever, whatever you were doing, he didnât give a single care in the world. This man could see you sitting on the toilet and he still would go and give you a quick kiss.
âGod, Iâve missed you.â He whispered on your lips âIâve missed you so fucking much.â
âI did too.â
âCan we please never fight again?â He gently put his forehead against yours
âAs long as you donât piss me the fuck off doing some stupid shit like that again, weâre good.â
âGood.â He nodded before kissing you again
âAnd I swear to god..â you started saying between kisses âIf I see you again that close to John Walker, Iâm gonna kill you.â
âI know.â He said lowering his hands to the back of your thighs and picking you up

Waitingđ¤ Part.2
Summary: After decades of being alone without a love of his own he finally finds her in a gloomy town of forks, his brother Edward isnât the only lucky one
Pairing: Emmett Cullen x f! Swan reader
Warning: angsty, fluffy sunshine Emmett
Part.1
â˘Masterlistâ˘
Friday came and I was a nervous wreck, I didnât care to tell Bella or dad about this seeing as Bella has already distanced herself from me and I didnât wanna get dads hopes up, sitting in math class, the last class of the day I kept glancing at the clock ticking closer and closer to the final bell, trying to distract myself I delved back into the worksheet infront of me, soon enough the bell rang and my heart jumped
Anxiously I threw everything into my bag and left the school straight to the parking lot, where Emmett was leaned against his silver jeep, when his eyes landed on me that bright smile stretch across his face making his amber eyes shine
âHey gorgeous you ready for the best night of your life?â I could feel the heat rush to my face only making his smirk widen
âNot like that y/n, not yet anyways, come on hop inâ he said as he held the door open for me, quickly getting in the drivers seat next to me
âSooo um whatâre we doing?â
âThought we could go hiking, maybe get out of the cloud bank into some sunlightâ
âI love hiking! Sounds like funâ finally relaxing knowing now itâs something Iâm use to doing
He drove for a while out of forks to a near by hiking trail not commonly used by the public, we got out and started our journey
âSo tell me a bit about yourself Angelâ he said breaking the silence
âWell thereâs not much to know, Iâve lived here my whole life, my sister and mom left when I was young so itâs just been me and my dad, I became homeschooled until now and I usually just read and do homeworkâ
âNot a big social butterfly I assume?â
âNot really, what about you? Tell me everything!â
âWell I have 4 adopted siblings, Jasper, Alice, Rosalie and Edward, youâll love Alice sheâs the sweetest, I like getting out into the forest, love music and working outâ
âYeah I can tellâ I smiled glancing at his bulging muscles under his long sleeve shirt
âWoah sheâs got some fire in her after allâ he laughed nudging my arm
âWhat can I say you bring it out of meâ his hand grazed against mine until he went for it and intertwined his fingers through mine
âWhy so nervous pretty girl? Do I fluster you?â
âMaybe, Iâve never really done stuff like this but itâs niceâ I saw his features soften as he looked down at me and gently squeezed my hand
âReally? A beautiful thing like yourself, Iâm surprised you donât have boys on their knees begging for your attentionâ
âI think you have me mixed up with my sisterâ I laughed nervously
âAnd who might that be because I donât even need to see her to know your beauty is beyond anything of this worldâ
âEmmett stop youâre just trying to make me blush, and my sister is Bella, Bella swan sheâs new to the schoolâ he stopped dead in his tracks with a shocked expression
âBella is your sister, like your actual sister?â
âSo you already know her, not a surpriseâ
âNo itâs not that, my brother Edward has been after her since she came at the start of the week, kind of funny how two brothers can like two sisters, but I must say I got the more beautifulâ
âYouâre too sweet Em, I canât believe she hasnât said anythingâ
âEdward is a very awkward secretive guy Iâm sure Bella is the same way maybe thatâs why she hasnât said anythingâ
âCanât say youâre wrongâ
He looked me up and down trying to judge something, curious
âDo you trust me?â
âI only just meet you but yeah, I doâ
In an instant he flung me over his back so I was clung to him like a monkey
âHold on tight sunshineâ everything flew by in a blur, there was no shape to anything with the speed he was going, but however he was doing this it didnât scare me or make me wonder what the hell was happening, I actually felt at peace
Soon enough he stopped as we cleared the cloud bank and the sun was beaming, he placed me gently back down on my feet and turned around, his skin was like a million tiny crystals, I was in awe by how much more beautiful he became
âAre you scared?â He asked as his face scrunch with worry
I raised my hand and traced down his cheek feeling his hard cold skin
âNo quite the opposite, youâre beautiful Emmettâ
âDonât you wanna know what I am?â He asked placing his hands on my hips
âWhatever you are Iâd never judge, I feel youâd never hurt me so I donât care what you areâ
âHow did I get so luckyâ he stated as he lifted me like I weighed a feather, wrapping my legs around his waist
âWhat do you mean?â
âUs vampires have mates and the moment you bumped into me in the hallways I knew you were mine, the one Iâm meant to spend the rest of my life withâ
âBut why me, you could have anybodyâ
âYouâre everything Iâll ever need, I wish you could see yourself the way I see you Angel, and Iâll spend the rest of eternity showing you how amazing you areâ
My heart swelled with the most love Iâve ever felt and Iâm lucky enough to finally find the one who will brighten my life

New rules: Damian Wayne x reader
part 4 of "Family rules" series.
A/N: bit of a filler, cause it's been 3 months(!!!!), but promise next part will be more eventful :D
***
âWhat is this?!â her father yelled, almost throwing the Gotham newspaper in her face.
âIââ
âLet me tell you what this is! This is you kissing Damian Wayne! And your face is all over the newspapersâ front pages!â
âStop screaming at me!â she spat back feeling her self-control slipping.
âYou better tread carefully young lady. Last time I checked you were still living in my house.â
The nightmare began the second she got back from school, still reeling from everything that happened in the principalâs office. Y/N could barely step over the threshold when a tight grip on her shoulders yanked her back, pushing her into the chair in the living room, with a very angered Mr. Y/L/N hovering above her. Felt like a freaking interrogation because she dared to behave like a teenage girl falling in love for the first time in her life.
If her mother was still alive, she would understand. She would sit down with her, ask a lot of questions, let Y/N blush and be supportive as a mother could.
Instead the young girl had to deal with her father, who clearly forgot that part of the role, focusing only on acting as a CEO, whose daughter was fraternizing with the enemy.
And it made her feel guilty.
Guilty for her own feelings, as if falling in love was something shameful. As if he had to pick the right person to whom her heart should start beating. Or not. Not that she could have experienced that, yet¸ but judging by the screams and rage she could say that in the future her father might try to marry her off out of reason. Â
âDad, please listen, I ââ her pleading tone was supposed to make the man realize that she wasnât just a bargaining chip in his businessâ development.
âI understand.â The response was cold, emotionless, almost ruthless, leaving no space for arguing. Â
âNo you donât understand! You donât understand! How could you possibly understand love when even mom was nothing more than a trophy wife for you-!â
Her outburst was immediately cut off by a slap and sharp stinging on the cheek followed by the reddened skin and pulsing blood.
âThis is what your motherâs upbringing caused.â Her father hissed âungrateful, stupid, snouted brat. But let me tell you something. This ends here. And if you want to keep living on my expense, you will do as I tell you!â
âIâm 17! Iâm underage, you canât just cast me out!â
âUnless you want to find out what Iâm capable of, I advise you to listen to the plan youâre just a pawn in.â
***
âWhat is it, Damian?â Bruce asked his youngest son when he came back from school. If there was any anger or disappointment in him, he did a great job hiding it.
âItâs nothing.â Said youngest muttered bellicosely.
It obviously had to come to this stupid awkward conversation with his father but Damian was not going to admit anything easily. And the fact that the boy only just realized that he might be slightly in love with Y/N Y/L/N was causing him to act even more coldly and aloofly than usually.
âSonâŚâ
âI said itâs nothing!â
âSo you kissing that girl was just you having fun? Or maybe you were trying to humiliate her?â
âWhat? No!â
âLook, you are a boy. It's okay if you want to blow off steam. Itâs understandable.â Bruce smirked, clearly setting a trap for Damian with the reverse psychology trick.
âYou understand? Because you had so much blowing off steam when you were younger?" Obviously the boy raised by Thalia Al-Ghul and Raâs Al-Ghul was smarter than to fall for something so childish. âBesides, itâs such a humiliating experience. I have no interest in primitive youthful pleasures and amorous activities, father.â
âYou sure about it?â
âPositive.â Damian crossed arms over his chest, having his face expression under perfect control.
âGood. Get ready for patrol then. Weâll be leaving soon.â
Damian nodded and with stern look and pursed lips left the room, allowing Bruce to finally let out a sigh of worry. His son may have been a skilled vigilante trained in restraint of emotions, but he could not trick Batman himself. It was impossible to notice how Damianâs eyes were focused on that little Y/L/N during all of last nightâs gala. Showing much more than just resentment. And then the dance, which Bruce didnât even have to force him into. And the way his boy was holding that girl. It was almost obvious that Damian had in fact an interest in amorous activities.
And unlike Y/nâs father, Bruce was not mad about it. In fact, he was quite relieved. As long as possible the relationship would not detriment Damianâs Robin duties of course. But seriously, as a father of a 17 year old, Bruce knew that it was only a matter of time when dilemmas and problems related to love and adolescence would come forward.
And unlike Y/N;s father Bruce was going to watch it carefully, intervening when needed, giving a push here and there, but without obvious control.
***
She was crying a waterfall, holding onto the bruised cheek wondering how to best cover it up so no one at school would ask silly questions.
Locked in the room on the first floor, making the most stern resolution to avoid Damian Wayne for dear life. Even if that was the last thing she would do in her life, she wouldnât get closer than three rows of desks in the classroom.
For what Y/N cared, Damian Wayne was now officially dead to her.
***
He was sitting on the branch of a giant tree next to her house, dressed in Robin costume, observing how the girl walked into her room with a hand on her cheek, though the distance didnât allow him to uncover why. Was she sick? Would she be at school tomorrow? Maybe the press got to her and she hurt herself running away from the paparazzi?
âDamian.â
AH! He almost fell to the ground.
âYes, father?â
âWhat are you doing?â
âObserving.â
âWhat?â
âThe target.â
âHm.â
âWhat now?â
âUnless the target changed age, gender and appearanceââ
âOur criminal is currently running down 34th street.â Damian cut his father off abruptly and roughly âhis tires are about to burst in about 100 meters due to the explosive I planted there. The explosion will give us enough momentum to jump into action and catch him with the stolen goods in his trunk. That is if we get into action in 3âŚ2âŚ1âŚâ he swiftly shot into the air without paying attention to his companion and even less to his words.
As if Batman was trying to suggest Damian might have been watching her.
Huh! Ridiculous!
***
âHey Y/n, what happened to your face?â The same girl that used to laugh her out about ending up on the pages kissing Damian, guffawed the next day seeing the poorly covered bruise on Y/Nâs face.
âNone of your fuckin business -â
âOh, such bad words coming out of the little princess' mouth, isnât it?â
âGet lost Lisa!â Y/N shut the locker and tried to walk past her bully.
âYou will not ignore me!â Lisa hissed and yanked the other girlâs hair back.
âGIRL FIGHT!â someone yelled and in a blink of an eye the corridor was filled with students cheering on one or the other girl as they started to circle around each other waiting for the moment to strike. Before teachers arrived Y/N was on the floor, blocking the hits that Lisa, who was sitting atop her kept on throwing.
âGET OFF ME!â
âYOU WILL RESPECT MY POSITION IN THIS SCHOOL!â
âYOUâRE A BULLY!â
âIâM A QUEEN!â
âOF MENTAL SICKNESS!"
âHEâS MINE!â
âWait⌠what?â Y/N stuttered and the moment of confusion ended up in the perfectly aimed nose punch and a quite decent bleeding. Followed by Lisaâs vindictive smile.
âNow your nose matches your cheek.â
âny-nozeâŚ.â tears pricked from Y/Nâs eyes from the combined pain and shock. It was not just about the fight, but everything that happened in the last couple days. Her fatherâs abuse because of falling in love and now Lisaâs torment because of pretty much the same followed by a girlâs jealousy.
âWhat is happening here?â Fuck, why were the teachers always appearing after the drama happened.
âShe attacked me!â Lisa exclaimed, putting on an innocent face. âSo aggressive, I suppose itâs because she was raised only by one parent.â
For a second the principal and the tutor were looking between untouched Lisa and beaten up, bleeding Y/N. It was clear who was the casualty, nonetheless it was Lisaâs family whoâs been giving generous donations to school.
âGet up from the floor Y/N.â she was finally instructed and on shaky legs and with dizziness she clumsily stood up still clutching her nose. âThis is your second stunt this week. Youâre coming to my office and this time, I wonât go lightly on you.â
âIt was not her fault.â Someone from the crowd of the students dared to speak up and the people parted, revealing the fumingâŚ.
Damian Wayne.
âit was Lisaââ
âOh, I donât feel well!â Lisa exclaimed accidentally falling right into Damianâs arms âI feel like Iâm going to faintââ
âMr. Wayne, take Mrs Thomas to the nurseâs office so she can be tended to.â
âWhat-?â Damian swiftly avoided Lisaâs fall and the girl almost ended up on the floor. âNo.â
âN-no?â
âNo. Y/N was the one who was attacked. And for crying out loud, sheâs the one bleeding and needing medical attention. So no, Iâm not taking herââ he threw a glance at Lisa âanywhere when thereâs someone else in need.â
âU-uhâŚâ the principal still had in mind the humiliation he was subjected to last time when he had Damian and Y/N talk to him. âFine! Fine, you take her to the nurse, though itâs completely unnecessary and ââ half a sentence and two of them were already halfway away âFuck. I mean, you all go back to your classes! Thereâs nothing to see here! Now go, before I put you all in detention!â
***
So her resolve to avoid Damian was broken on the first day.Â
And it was about to get even harder from now on.Â

Absolutely outraged to learn that the little headcanon I dreamt up in bed this morning doesnât work timeline-wise but screw it, Iâm doing it anyway.
When Eddie was small, his mom always used to sing him Rainbow Connection from The Muppet Movie. Theyâd watched it together over at Uncle Wayneâs trailer when it first came out on VHS and Eddie had been entranced. Heâd parked himself right up in front of the small TV, his eyes glued to this little frog playing the banjo.
His mom noticed, of course, and made it theirs. Their song for when his dad was away and they could dance in the kitchen without being yelled at. For when Eddie was sick in bed, or couldnât sleep, or had woken up with a nightmare. For when he came home from school with grazed palms and tears in his eyes.
âWho said that every wish, would be heard and answered?â his mom sang to him, brushing away Eddieâs tears the day she told him that she was very poorly. That she had to go into hospital, just for a little while, for the doctors to fix her up.
Eddie had asked for the song to be played at her funeral, in his small voice, tugging at his dadâs shirt sleeve. Heâd said no, of course. Heâd never understood either of them.
But later that night, when everyone had left and his dad was asleep, Uncle Wayne led Eddie out into the backyard and picked up his old guitar. Heâd smiled at Eddie as the familiar chords rang out in the night sky and Eddieâs voice trembled when he started to sing, âWhy are there so many, songs about rainbows?â
Uncle Wayneâs voice soon joined his, strong and sure. âAnd whatâs on the other side?â
Eddie smiled. Maybe it could be their song, too.
So, years later, when Eddie was shuffling around Steveâs vast kitchen, trying to find where the hell the Harringtons kept their mugs, he found himself humming along to the familiar tune with a happy heart.
âOho, I see weâve got another Tammy Thompson fan on our hands here,â came Steveâs voice as he and Robin sidled in and leant against the countertop.
Robin snorted. âSomeday weâll find it,â she sang, her words taking on a pitchy, mocking quality.
Steve joined in, squeaky and off-tune, âThe rainbow connection.â
They were grinning at each other as they carried on. âThe lovers, the dreamers -â
âStop,â Eddie yelled, red-faced, his heart beating wildly as he clutched the empty mug in his hand. âStop it.â
They did, with matching looks of confusion. Clearing spotting the way Eddie was breathing too hard, eyes too glassy, Steve shifted. âShit, sorry Eddie. We didnât mean anything.â
And it was bullshit because Eddie knew that. How could they know about that song, about his mom and Uncle Wayne and everything it meant? They couldnât, but now Eddie had made it weird. Made it awkward. But he was still too worked up, he couldnât explain.
âS'okay,â he said. âI guess I just donât feel well. Might go home.â
He didnât let either of them get another word in before he fled the house.
The next day, Eddie was disturbed from his still-embarrased wallowing by a gentle knock on his bedroom door. It was Uncle Wayne, with a soft look on his face.
âThe Harrington boyâs here,â he said. âCame to apologise. Called last night, you know. We talked for a bit.â
He disappeared and moments later a contrite-looking Steve shuffled in.
Eddie pushed himself up against his headboard.
âIâm sorry,â he said. âIt was just a joke Robin and I have. I would never -â He cut himself off and sat down on the end of the bed, a little sheepishly. âI got you this.â
Steve pulled his hand out from behind his back to reveal a tiny Kermit the Frog toy, complete with a small, squishy banjo.
Eddieâs chest clenched. He reached out for the toy and smiled wide at Steve.
When the other man dragged him into a hug, Eddie let himself fall into it.
Maybe it wasnât going to be a song for him and Steve, but it could definitely be the start of something sweet.
[Yeah, I'm scouring the archives and trying to salvage as many headcanons as I can from my old deleted account, but let's just pretend this is brand new content.]

- staying with mom pt. 2 â° e. diaz
Summary/Request: For a part 2 to Staying With Mom, maybe theyâre at the hospital getting Mom checked out and both Chris and Eddie keep calling her mom. The reader is just having all the feels and she just loves it and Eddie loves it too. If you need more detail just let me know.
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: poor medical knowledge and tooth rotting fluff
Pairing: Â Eddie Diaz x fem!readerÂ
Word Count: 1.3k
Notes: Not super happy with how this turned out, but oh well, I missed writing and wanted to write some more. Please send requests im up to s7 of the walking dead, so am also taking requests for that! Also in this Shannon never came back, she left and Chris has no memory of her.
part one
The journey in the ambulance had been uneventful, despite there being a paramedic in the back of the van with you and your boys, Eddie had taken over your care. The paramedic that had been accompanying in the van had mostly just sat back and let him take over, occasionally pointing out where some bits of equipment were.
The pain in your leg was still excruciating, and it didnât help that Eddie was shining a light in your pupils every few minutes to check the reactions. Once he realised your leg injury was not your only injury, and you had been knocked unconscious by debris, he had become frenzied urging the driver to go faster while he kept checking your vitals. You hadn't even told him you hit his head, but when he helped you to get a bit more comfortable on the stretcher he noticed the blood that stained his hand after he held your head.
âEddie, Iâm fine, my leg is just hurtingâ You said, pushing the torch away from your face after Eddie started checking your eyes again.
âFine? Babe your head is bleeding and your leg is looking a bit squashed,â Eddie sighed. He was clearly worried about you.Â
Chris had remained curled up to your side on the stretcher, clutching your middle, scared to let go. Despite the stressful situation, his heart had warmed at the sight in front of him.Â
Once you had arrived at the hospital you were placed in the urgent waiting room. As you were still conscious and talking, people who had been more injured in the earthquake had taken priority over you. Due to the state of your leg the ambulance staff had placed you in a wheelchair and disinfected the stretcher before they headed back out to help more people.Â
âHow are you feeling?â Eddie asked, once again.Â
âChris, your dad is crazy,â You said, ignoring Eddie looking at the boy slouched over the arm of your wheelchair. Eddie rolled his eyes and smirked at this.Â
It wasnât much longer until you were called to be seen by a doctor, and your boys quickly stood up and wheeled you into the room with the doctor. Chris held onto your hand and walked alongside you as Eddie pushed you.
âHow are you feeling?â The doctor asked as soon as she shut the door to the private room.
âMom got hurt in the earthquake,â Chris spoke first. He was so quick that you hadnât had the chance to speak yet.Â
âWell, we better check mom out then,â The doctor said, smiling at Chris.
For the rest of the appointment, you were referred to as mom as the doctor tried to reassure Chris, and it just warmed something in your heart. Unknown to you but it also made Eddieâs heart swell.Â
Despite you feeling fine, the doctor wanted to keep you for observation overnight and you had managed to convince her to let Eddie and Chris stay with you. Chris went back to being snuggled into your side once you were given a bed, and promptly fell asleep.Â
âHow are you feeling, mom?â Eddie whispered, putting emphasis on the last word.Â
âApart from the broken leg, I feel amazing,â you whispered looking down at the sleeping boy tightly curled into you. âI canât believe he called me mom.â
âHe loves you so much, as do I.â Eddie smiled as he leant forward to give you a small kiss âWhich I guess means I've got to do something.â
You looked puzzled as Eddie leant over and shook Chris awake.Â
âEddie, he was asleep, what are you doing?â you ask, very confused, but your question was ignored.
âChris, do you remember that thing I said I was going to ask mom one day, itâs time.â Upon hearing this Chris shot up, filled with so much energy and sat up at the end of your bed.
âYour jacket is over there dadâ Chris pointed to the chair in the corner of the room. Eddie quickly stood up, and hurried over to the chair, almost slipping over on the clean hospital floors.
âBe careful Eddie, we donât want both of us injured,â you sighed.
âItâs all good mom, donât you worry,â he smiled.
Eddie sat down in the chair next to your head, jacket folded over on his lap, and took your hands in his.
âWhat are you doing?â You sit up a bit more in your bed, confused as to what was happening.
âItâs okay mom,â Chris said. It was hard to feel worried when he called you mom, it made you so happy. You turn back to Eddie who has your hands in his.Â
ây/n, you have made both mine and Chrisâs life so much better. There isnât anyone Iâd rather be Chrisâs mom, and my wife.â Eddie paused, reaching into the inside zip pocket of his jacket. You wanted to ask what was happening, but you were in such shock you were speechless. In Eddieâs hand was a small velvet box. While holding the box, he went back to cradling your hand.Â
ây/n will you do me the absolute pleasure of being my wifeâ Eddieâs voice started to crack.Â
âAnd my mom!â Chris shouted.
âYes, and Chrisâ mom. Will you please marry me?â At this point, Eddieâs voice was wobbling while he awaited your answer.Â
You struggled to speak, eyes streaming, your spare hand over your mouth in shock. Unable to get the words out you just nodded.Â
âYes?â Eddie questioned.
âYes.â you nodded.Â
Eddie quickly grabbed your hand and placed the sparkling ring that was once in the box on your ring finger, and then kissed your face all over before placing on last kiss on your lips while cradling your face in his hands.Â
âEddie, have you just been carrying around this gorgeous ring?â you asked as you began to admire the jewellery adorning your finger.Â
âFor about a year and a half,â he shrugged looking down at your hand.Â
âWeâve only been together a little over 2 years,â you laughed.Â
âI wouldâve had it sooner, but it was really hard to get your ring size without being obvious.â he smiled.
âYou are crazy Edmundo,â you laughed.
âCrazy for you, and now youâre stuck with me forever.â
âI wouldnât want anything else, now get your butt on this bed, I want to have a cuddle with my boys,â you said as you shuffled making space for the three of you. Once Eddie was on the bed, you helped Chris get in the middle of you, it was tight and uncomfortable, but you didnt want to be anywhere else.Â
âI love you guys, and now youâre my boys, forever.â you smiled as you placed a kissed on each of their heads.
âI love you momâÂ

Sister POV: nudist free-use family fantasy (per request) â¤ď¸
I absolutely love living in a nudist free-use family. My parents always told me & my siblings that being naked was the most natural way to be. Then, when we were old enough, we joined our parents in free-use sex - it adds so much excitement to every day! You never know whoâs going to fuck you next. Daddy? Big brother? Little brother? Or just some girl-on-girl with mommy and my sisters?
One day, our cousin came to visit. She knew our family was nudist, she had visited a few times before, but we never pressured her to be nude herself. She was wearing a thin, spaghetti-strap tank top and little denim shorts. When she bent over, you could see a little bit of her butt cheeks sticking out from her shorts. Bustiness runs in our family, so she had incredible tits, just like my sisters and mommy. She wasnât wearing a bra so we could all see her big breasts bouncing around whenever she moved. Everyone in my family was staring at her as soon as she walked in the door.
While she knew that our family was nudist, she hadnât visited us since before we turned 18, so she hadnât seen our free-use in action before. I wondered how she would take it - would she be shocked? Disgusted? Intrigued? She had come out as lesbian to us a few years before, so my brothers knew not to try anything with her.
Her & I were hanging out in my bedroom, and she left for a few minutes to go to the bathroom. As soon as she left my bedroom, one of my horny brothers came in. I could see his huge erection enter my room before he did. âFinally!â he said, âI didnât want to make our cousin uncomfortable by fucking you in front of her, so Iâve been keeping my distance. Iâll be quick.â He climbed on top of me on the bed and lifted my legs into the air. He slid his hard cock inside my pussy and immediately started thrusting fast. He fucked me desperately, it was like his animal instinct took over, he needed my warm pussy and wasnât about to wait until our cousin went home. I was moaning loudly, and Iâm sure she could hear it before she came back to my bedroom.
âOh my god!â she gasped, startled by what she was seeing. I looked over at her, smiling. âHey, youâre back! Donât worry, heâs not gonna take long.â I said. âI knew you guys were nudists, but I didnât know you wereâŚfucking each other!â she replied. My brother kept fucking me hard and fast, and our cousin kept staring at us. Instead of leaving the room, she moved closer, eventually sitting on the edge of the bed. My brother grabbed my big tits as he thrust inside me one final time, releasing his cum. Then he pulled his long, thick cock out of me and stood up. âAlright, you girls have fun!â he said to us, and left the room.
âDoes that happenâŚoften?â my cousin asked me. âOh yes, every day. Multiple times a day! Weâre all about loving each other in my family and this is how we show it, by enjoying each otherâs bodies. My brothers, my sisters, my mom and dad, weâre all free to have sex with each other whenever and wherever we want! Morning, afternoon, nightâŚdid you notice how none of our bedrooms have doors? Thatâs because we donât need them! And we donât just fuck in the bedrooms. We fuck on the couch, on the kitchen counter, the dining room table, hell weâve even fucked on the floor!â I replied.
My cousin stared at me, amazed. âWow, that sounds like an incredible way to live. I would love to have a family that showed their love like that,â she said. âWell, do you want to do that with me?â I asked her. She smiled shyly. âI mean, your body is incredible, you donât even have to be naked for everyone to see that!â I said. She thanked me and said âmaybe we could just take it slow to start.â I said sure, and gently pushed her hair back behind her shoulder as I leaned in to kiss her. Her lips were so softâŚour lips gently brushed and I eased my tongue into her mouth. I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her closer to me. Tentatively, she placed her hand on my breast and gently squeezed it. My fingers slipped under the bottom of her tank top and I started to slowly inch it up her bodyâŚmoving my hand up over her heavy tits, I rubbed her nipple a little and I could feel her make a tiny moan into my mouth. Our lips parted as she lifted her arms up over her head, so that I could pull her shirt off completely.
Her breasts were gorgeous, in fact they looked a lot like mine! I giggled and said âwell, you can tell weâre related!â We both smiled and grabbed each otherâs boobs with both hands. I leaned down and began to suck on one of her nipples. âMmmm that feels so good,â she moaned. I flicked my tongue over her hard nipple and then gently bit it, making her moan even louder. Then, I moved over to her other nipple. It was so hard, and felt sooo good in my mouth. I sucked on it hard, and bit it a little harder this time. âOhhh my god,â she moaned, âI had no idea you were so good at this!â
I eased her back onto the bed so that we were both laying down. I slid my hand down her beautiful body and into the front of her little shorts. She unbuttoned them for me and took them off. I started teasing her by rubbing my fingers up and down her pussy through her panties. She bit her lip and said âgod, for a nudist, you sure know how to tease!â I grinned and asked her if sheâd like me to go all the way. She nodded, and I immediately removed her panties. Her pussy was smooth, juicyâŚand soaking wet! I rubbed her clit in little circles, making her squirm. Keeping my thumb on her clit, I slid 2 of my fingers inside her tight hole. I felt her G spot, and pressed against it, massaging it, as she arched her back and moaned even louder. I kept rubbing her clit at the same time, gradually getting faster, until she came, releasing a stream of wetness into my hand.
âOh my god, that was amazing,â she panted breathlessly. âIâm not quite done yet,â I replied, and moved down in between her legs. I licked around her folds, tasting her sweet juices. I buried my face in her pussy, covering my mouth, nose, and cheeks in her wetness. I flicked my tongue on her clit, making her flinch for a second from the sensitivity. I began slowly moving my tongue in circles around her clit, desperate to make her cum again. Gradually I felt it build up again, as I started to go a bit faster, a bit harder with my licks. Then, I stuck my tongue right in her pussy hole as far as I could. âOhhh my god,â she moaned, and I knew her next cum wasnât far away. I alternated moving my tongue from inside her tight hole to right on her clit, until I felt her legs start to tighten around me. Then, I flicked my tongue hard and fast on her clit, as she grabbed my hair. This time she screamed as she came, and squirted again, all over my face as I kept my mouth open to taste every drop.
I moved back up on the bed and started kissing my cousin, sharing her wetness with her. âI definitely need to come visit you more often!â she said. âHow about you move in?â I asked her. âOh my god, do you think your parents would let me?â she asked excitedly. I said âof course! Youâre our cousin and we love you, theyâll definitely let you join our amazing little family here.â We ran out of my bedroom to tell the rest of the family the good news, that we were adding our sexy lesbian cousin to our nudist free-use family!!
