are all the fics you have archived on fanfiction.net or do you do ao3 as well?

Hi! We mostly see ao3 these days as that’s where fandom has moved, but we don’t limit what we post to specific websites. We post links to wherever the relevant fic we are recommending or searching for is posted (whether that be ffnet, ao3 or one of the even more ancient fic sites). Hope this clarifies!

I finally finished my four-volume ATYD layout!

The body text is larger than any formatted version I have found before, which is why it's four volumes instead of three. (The images I added to this post are just thumbnail previews, not meant to illustrate the relative size of the text.) I designed covers, front matter, chapter accents, and gave each character their own handwriting style for their letters!

I put a huge amount of work into this (for myself!) and I'm excited to share with anyone who is interested. The fanart and fonts I used are all credited (fanart in the front matter, fonts in the back) in case anyone wants to look them up.

These PDFs were specifically designed for printing as perfect-bound paperbacks, which is why the margins are larger on the sides toward the spine. There are all sorts of print-on-demand book sites out there that you can use to order your own copies. If you're handy with InDesign I can send you the .indd files if you'd like to modify them.

If anyone is super interested in having these in EPUB format (for e-readers), I can also share those versions, but they won't have the custom fonts because EPUB formats don't play well with those.

These are hosted on my Google Drive and I have no immediate plans to delete them, but I do recommend downloading them if you think you'll want them in the future, in case I need to delete them down the road.

goodbye [don’t get worried]

Hi hellsite users, 

sorry for the long post but I wanted to properly say goodbye. Before anyone starts worrying this is a good goodbye not a bad goodbye. 

But still, tumblr meant a lot to me for a period of time where I really wasn’t doing very well, I was crazy burnt out, my self esteem was nonexistent, I felt stuck in stasis and on top of that I was feeling like I had absolutely no one - like no one would care if I even lived or died.

Tumblr helped me feel so much less alone and I will always be thankful for the online world it allowed me to escape into and the amazing people I got to interact with and meet. 

The thing is, I’m doing a lot better now. I mean don’t get me wrong I’m by no means perfect and neither is my life but for the first time in a really, really fucking long time I actually feel like I’m capable of moving on and not being stuck anymore. A lot of things have changed - I don’t know if it’s good or bad but it was definitely necessary either way. 

I’ve got a lot of hope and excitement for the future, I’ve got proper dreams I want to work hard to achieve…in general I feel like I have a reason not to need to escape my life anymore. 

That’s why I think it’s time to stop visiting my little online world - or at least, I’m not going to be coming here as frequently anymore. If you want to talk to me, send me a message and I promise I’ll see it soon enough but I don’t really know if I’ll be posting much anymore. 

I’ll still be writing fics I think because I enjoy it but I’m definitely stepping down from blogging because I need to start being present in my own life. The only exception is that I might post links to my writing on ao3.

I know this sounded really dramatic at first and as you read you probably went - oh that’s kind of not a big deal. That’s because I’ll never not be a dramatic motherfucker <3 but also because this is actually a really big deal to me even if it probably shouldn’t be. 

To my amazing friends and mutuals I’ve met here - I’ll never forget you and I hope you don’t forget me. Please do feel free to DM me or drop stuff in my inbox.

I’ve stayed far away from anythjng Harry Potter related for about a decade now. and I wasn’t planning on stopping but you recently reposted an ask about james, lily and snape and because I’ve been gone so long I don’t know shit can you tell me, what’s the piece of media?? last thing I heard of there was a prequel coming out called fantastic beasts and where to find them or smth I genuinely don’t know (but I do know of the marauders from the main hp books/movies and I am belatedly realising how much every time there are four guys who are very close and kinda weird my brain just. happy noises) and so I am vaguely considering breaking my jk rowling boycott for a bit and see what’s up, briefly focus my boycotting efforts elsewhere
