aughhh the impromptu animecon im going to this weekend is killing me i did not think putting together an ethan winters cosplay would take this long 💀

so yeah cuz of that i'll be finishing+posting the final week of artober drawing next week !so sadly no halloween art on halloween this year :(

went through and added alt text to all my artober drawings. i have no idea what i'm doing tho when it comes to alt text (i mostly copied what i generally see others do with alt text + what i personally find helpful) so if anyone who knows anything about anything could give me some pointers that would be dope as hell and i'd love u forever 🫶

you ever wanna show your characters' interpersonal relationships through your art but you just don't know how to? cuz. i'm dying

i don't think i've ever really talked about this au much publicly,, but i think i should get on that i made this au before knowing i'm a system. and this au was almost exclusively made by our protector Kev. i think he did a lot of great exploration into the mindset and feelings that come with being a protector. i feel like those experiences are valuable to share

the TLDR of that au is that Twilight, after ascending to "ruler of Equestria", starts having her issues brushed off by everycritter around her because "you're the princess of Equestria now, you can handle it. you HAVE to" and Midnight Sparkle ends up taking over as a way to protect Twi. Midnight then proceeds to essentially establish sort of a hyper controlled tyranny over her castle (the old castle of the two sisters in this au) and her subjects within it. Completely closing off the place to the outside world. Until a plan is hatched by the rest of the mane 6 to help their friend which involves a spy, Vapor Trail.

honestly i really love how he has turned Abyss into a positive+empathetic depiction of a more aggressive, volatile, and controlling protector type (which he himself at the time was) in this au.

sun and moon dynamic but an alternate timeline where it's white fluffy clouds and thunderous storm clouds <3
