❀ Obsessed with the idea of gardening with Gagamaru

❀ He's so sweet and cute and actually HELPFUL

❀ He'll help you plant some trees, especially if the saplings are too heavy for you to move or lift, and will even do most of the digging for you

❀ He really doesn't want you to lift a finger much, just tell him where to plant some stuff and you can water it after

❀ But if you really want to do some of the work too, then he'll let you do some of the easier stuff - like repotting some of the smaller flowers or tag teaming a section of the garden

❀ Of course, there are a couple of things you let him do, especially when he gets too sweaty and decides to take off his shirt

❀ He just looks SO good, you can't help but ogle him when you need a break

❀ Sometimes your eyes linger a little too long though and he catches you in the act

❀ He'll smirk over at you, water bottle brought to his lips

❀ He may even puff out his chest a little or flex a tad to try to show off

❀ But honestly, you catch him staring much more frequently

❀ He doesn't always notice you catching him though (I don't think he'd care much anyway)

❀ If you have vegetables in your garden, he'll help you harvest some of them, keeping a bag nearby for the ripe ones

❀ He'll dig up carrots, potatoes, onions, you name it, he's your guy

❀ Idk I just get strong vibes that he likes to dig ??? Bare handed ???

❀ He'll also help pull cucumbers or squashes, tomatoes, berries...

❀ He especially likes harvesting berries bc it reminds him of his camping trips in the forest. You end up having to yell at him though bc he tries to eat all of the ones he's picking 🫠 (maybe don't let him pick berries)

❀ He likes weeding also, but you enjoy keeping the clovers around so you may have to guide him a little the first couple of times he helps you in the garden... he'll get the hang of what you want plucked and what you want to keep

❀ (Sometimes you just move the clovers or whatever to a pot so they don't get accidentally pulled)

❀ Once you've finished working in the garden for the day, you both gaze at the garden with pride before turning to each other

❀ He'll tuck a flower behind your ear that he plucked when you weren't looking with a light blush on his cheeks

❀ You'll kiss his sweaty cheek and ask if he wants some iced lemonade to cool down

❀ (Of course, he says yes)

I just watched my first Hindi film with Hindi subtitles today and I had to translate just two words and it was beautiful. My vocabulary and Devanagari reading speed have evidently both inched towards some kind of a fluency, yay!

The words were चुड़ैल, witch (feminine) and वश में करना, to tame.
