dancin in the dark ୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ jinx x fem! reader x isha ( mother mother daughter relationship )
summary: a long day after work, y/n comes home to her loving weird family that just fits
warnings: established jinx and y/n relationship, y/n and jinx consider isha is their daughter ( not stated but implied ) , fluff ! family cuddles !
i just have to wash episode 6 out of my mind NOW
it had been a long day, a tiring long day of work in the city. y/n’s legs and arms hurt more than ever. sometimes she feels like the pain will never ease up.
even jinx has gone easier on her than this.
yawning and walking into jinx’s layer that somehow became their apartment for the time being until they had money to actually move, she made not much noise. the faint sounds of laughter and jinx’s husky voice as she spoke.
‘in the left! we have our vicious, dangerous ! blood hungry monster, biloptormus!’ she yelled into a fake microphone that isha and jinx made and used to pronounce their monster fights, y/n smiled softly while setting her bag down softly onto the metal floor.
the continuing sounds of jinx pronouncing what they were doing as isha made her adorable sounds and laughs.
‘oh! come on don’t flatten out now! put some effort into it!’ jinx stressed while she watched the small colored bugs fly around each other.
‘oh give them a break they’re tired’ y/n jokes while she stepped into the lights. isha hurried to turn and smiled widely, a small gasp breaking through her mouth as she ran to y/n with her arms wrapped around her legs.
‘hi, my love’ she mumbled while leaning down to isha’s height; her hand over the back of her head only for her to open her eyes and see blue instead of light brown.
‘what the?’ she mumbled.
‘don’t yell! i promise we made a bet that if she won a fight then i’d do her hair and well? dot dot dot, what can i say’ jinx said with a grin as she walked over to y/n who held her mouth open a bit in a stuck gasp.
‘you promised—‘
‘sh sh’ she groaned while leaning into y/n as she sunk into her warmth. the smell of her perfume and wherever else she was being prominent in the crook of her neck. y/n was her forever comfort place, she found nothing but that in her.
and maybe some other things.
smiling, y/n left a hand behind isha’s head while rubbing it and let her other hand lead up to jinx’s crook of her neck, messaging it lightly.
‘i take it nobody went to sleep today?’
‘how could we! our sleep meds was out making money’ jinx mumbled into y/n’s neck as she laughed.
‘okay well, your sleep medicine is getting sleepy herself! i’ll take my shower, and come back. and you two better be ready for bed!’ y/n warned.
she deeply understood that jinx couldn’t sleep without her there. she mentioned having nightmares or just no ability to sleep at all, isha helped sometimes but not enough.
the two smiled and let go of y/n as she grabbed some clothes for bed.
before she walked away she heard a whisper—‘hey!’ turning to be taken into jinx’s arms, her hands around her waist and her face getting close, y/n quickly closed her eyes to be enfolded into the warmth of jinx’s lips.
a sweetened kiss that washed away all of her day troubles as jinx smiled, y/n humming.
‘i see you missed me?’ y/n mumbled into her lips as she pecked them one more time.
‘what can i say, you have a thing about you where someone can easily get attached’ jinx jokes with a shrug and an eye roll.
y/n smiled and kissed her one more time before letting go, their pinkies interlocked and slowly falling apart. letting y/n go to take her shower.
˚₊✩‧₊
coming out with y/n in her pajamas and a towel on her head to absorb the wetness from her previous hair wash, she saw isha and jinx in bed with their hands making shapes with the light reflections.
walking to the bed she plopped down and groaned, jinx looking at isha who already knew what she was doing, crawled next to y/n, each side of her being immediately taken into the arms of her loves.
jinx rubbed her towel to dry her hair a bit more before taking the towel off to reveal her pink hair, the both of them gasping.
‘y/n!’ jinx yelled as y/n laughed into the bed.
‘well i wasn’t going to be the only one with normal colored hair in this place’ she smiled as she turned over on her back as saw jinx and isha laughing with shocked expressions.
she laughed as well and scooted up to the pillows, all of them getting under them as they wrapped their arms around y/n. her own arms around the both of them as they mumbled sweet and random nothings to each other.
‘y’know…if you think about it, we’re a family’ jinx mumbled. it’s been a while since isha fell asleep, her face smushed into y/n’s chest.
y/n felt her heart skip a bit as she mumbled—‘yeah…i love to think of it like that’ jinx smiled and kissed y/n on her cheek, then her lips.
pushing into each other, they found comfort in this. falling soundly asleep.

♡
Sun kisses your skin with its warmth, the smell of fresh flowers and wet grass lingers all around you, the leaves that are slowly changing color are still dripping with water from the light rain that greeted you this morning. Your hand is safely embraced by your boyfriend, who is rubbing soothing circles on your skin, squeezing you and holding you close as he stares at the names engraved into the stone, where the bodies of your parents lie six feet under, the only remains left of them buried underneath the ground. The only things evident of their existence are all the pictures ever taken of them.
He can feel your sadness as you stare at the names of your parents, he can feel your grief, even after all these years, you still feel it just as deeply as you did back then.
But Steve doesn’t know that you no longer feel alone, that his presence comforts you in ways nothing else ever could. You squeeze his hand and lean your head on his shoulder.
You wish he could’ve gotten to know them differently, your father would’ve loved him, your mother would’ve adored him. Steve would’ve been a part of your family.
But this is the only way.
You spent the morning in your bed, going through old pictures, ones he hasn’t seen yet, you shared sacred memories with him, introduced him to your favorite pictures of your family, he watched and listened with a smile on his face, a longing look in his eyes, wishing that he could’ve had a good relationship with his own parents too, wishing that he could’ve met yours.
So when you offered to introduce him to them, even if only like this, he immediately said yes. He stopped by the store and got flowers to put on your parents' grave, the flowers that were your mom’s favorites.
You whispered softly when you arrived, ‘hi mom, hey dad’, you touched the stone and looked down with tears in your eyes, Steve’s heart broke at that moment. But then you stepped back and took his hand again, and for the first time, you introduced him as your boyfriend, though you both wished it was under different circumstances, wishing he could shake your dad’s hand instead, that he could hand those flowers to your mom, that he could talk to them, that he could promise them that he will take good care of you, just like he would like to promise it to your best friend.
There are fresh flowers on his grave too, ones that can’t be older than a day or two. He knows they are from you, blue tulips.
He never asked himself that question before but now he wonders how much time you spend at the cemetery. How many lonely days have led you here, to your best friend, to your parents. The thought only breaks his heart even more.
A sigh falls from your lips and he turns away from the flowers and looks at you. You are staring at Max’s letter that fused into the grass, the ink nearly washed away from all the rain that followed since that day.
“Come on,” you whisper, no longer wanting to be here, standing before the grave of your best friend who should’ve been anywhere but here, every time you’re here, your heart breaks all over again. You tug at your boyfriend’s hand and start to pull him away, eying his burgundy car already but Steve stops you, with a squeeze of his hand and a kind smile on his beautiful face.
“Wait, give me a moment will you?” He asks softly, fishing out his car keys from his pocket, he hands them to you and takes a step closer, pressing his lips to your temple, “I’ll be right there, darling.”
Despite the curiosity and the confusion building up in you, you close your hand around his keys and nod, looking into his soft hazel eyes, you match the look on his face, smiling at your boyfriend, you let go of his hand and grab his shoulder instead, rising up on your tippy toes, you kiss his lips before you step away and give him the privacy he asked for.
Steve watches you walk away, a fond smile still resting on his features, you are wearing his jacket, pulling it tighter around you when the wind kisses your skin. His heart skips a beat when you pull the collars around your neck tighter as well. It will smell like you and he can’t wait to breathe in your scent once he wears it himself again.
When you get into the passenger seat of his car, Steve turns around again, facing the grave he hasn’t seen since the day he drove Max here.
A sudden nervousness rushes through him and settles in the pit of his stomach, a tension he hasn’t felt in a while surrounding him now, the kind he only ever felt when he was around Billy. He never liked him and Billy certainly never liked him either.
The cold breeze blows through his hair, messing it up just the slightest bit. Steve clears his throat and looks around, restraining himself from crossing his arms.
It’s almost as though he is here.
The awkward tension hangs heavy in the air, he can feel it but he needs to do this, he has to.
“Hey man,” Steve breaks the silence, feeling a little ridiculous, standing here before Billy’s grave, greeting him like he was a friend. “I know I’m probably the last person you wanna… uh… hear or see?” He mumbles, scratching the back of his neck as he stares at his name.
“But I just… I know what you mean to her, I know what she meant to you… and fuck… I hurt her… many times, so many that I’d deserve to get beaten to death by you. But I promise to make up for all of that. I will protect her… for me and for you. I promise. I’m pretty sure that if I’d ever hurt her again, Eddie would honor you, Hargrove, and just kill me.” Steve chuckles, knowing how fucked he would’ve been had Billy known everything. “But I promise, I will never hurt her again. I love her, I love her so much, there is nothing I wouldn’t do for that girl, Billy. It took me a while to open my eyes and put away my pride but I see her now, she has my heart.” He speaks with a softness in his voice.
The wind blows again, a little softer this time but the leaves fall from the trees and onto his gravestone. The silence that follows reminds him of how ghostly the place is, how full yet empty it is, how lifeless yet… not. But everyone in here is gone, including your best friend.
Steve looks down at his hands, he might never understand the bond you two shared, but he knows one thing for sure, he kept you safe, when he was here and when he was not.
“Thank you,” Steve whispers, feeling sad over a man he could never stand but one that means something special to you, “for protecting her all along, in life and in death.”
And then, Steve takes one last look at Billy’s name, at the grave you visit so often, “I got her now,” he promises before he steps away and leaves.
You don’t question him when he gets into the driver's seat of his car, you don’t give any more curious, questioning looks, you simply smile and take his hand when he reaches for yours, a habit you had quickly gotten used to and very comfortable with.
It’s only been a few days since you had started dating officially, it feels much longer than that… with good reason.
You haven’t seen any of your friends since ‘the party’ at Eddie’s place, you only talked to Eddie on the phone and told him about what happened, and Robin… she only called Steve one more time before she gave him the space he asked for.
You wanted alone time with each other, you wanted to exist with only one another. You barely left the house for three days and most of that time it was spent in your bed. You went out to get food and didn’t hide when you held each other’s hands or kissed in the parking lot of the diner, not caring that your friends who are still clueless about your relationship could see, and while you are both excited for the big reveal, you can’t help but love this little secret between you, the secret that you now live out openly, the bubble you have both created, the one that is about to burst.
When Steve parks his car in Eddie’s driveway, you feel the calmness in you slowly transforming into dread and anxiety, knowing that you will have to face a person, a girl you considered a close friend you now see as someone unpleasant, especially after all the treatment you received from her in the past few weeks, the words she spewed at you, the words you never revealed to Steve.
It was hurtful and offending but still, you couldn’t repeat the things she said to you, not to him. She is still his best friend, still the person who wanted to protect him from pain and heartbreak and you have no intention to break them apart but you can’t digest the words she hit you with, they were distasteful and rude and the disgust in her eyes cut you deep.
“Hey,” your boyfriend whispers, pulling you out of your thoughts with his gentle voice. He brings your hand up towards his face and kisses your knuckles, looking at you with a reassuring smile on his face, “it’s gonna be okay.”
You look into his hazel eyes and you can’t help but wonder what he would think, how he would react if you told him about the things she said to you, how he would react once she tells him what happened between you and her – you know she will, you know that despite her fear of losing him, she will tell him everything.
“Yeah,” you smile weakly.
You can tell that he is anxious too, with the way he runs his fingers through his hair and sighs, holds your hand tightly and looks at Eddie’s house with a hint of fear in his eyes.
Eddie and Steve haven’t been on the best terms either, you know why, that’s why you aren’t angry at Robin for wanting to protect her best friend, you are angry at her for the way she judged you, for the way she approached this whole situation. You saw the guilt and the regret in her eyes when she realized how wrong she was about you but it did nothing to mend the anger and the hurt in you.
Steve’s comforting hand is on the small of your back when you make your way up Eddie’s porch, you can’t even ring the bell or knock before the front door opens suddenly and your best friend’s eyes meet yours. You feel Steve tensing up beside you when he looks between you both and then down at your joined hands. A look of relief, a look of happiness for you crosses his face and then, he steps out and grabs your hand, pulling you away from Steve and into his embrace, he hugs you tightly, tighter than he ever hugged and held you before, not only because he is happy for you but also because he missed you.
A smile tugs at your lips, warmth blooming in your chest at the love you feel for him. You lift your arms up and hug him back.
“Hi Eds,” you whisper.
“Hey stranger,” he whispers and squeezes your arms, “I missed you.”
Steve looks between you both with softness in his eyes and a warm smile on his lips. Though the tension in him is still strong and the one in Eddie too, Steve can see it when he pulls away from you and takes a long look at him. He can see the guilt in his eyes, the awkwardness and the missing coldness that he looked at him with for the past months.
“Steve,” Eddie mumbles, nodding at him.
“Hey man,” Steve greets him with a hint of a smile.
Both are tense, both are awkward.
You clear your throat and step back, reaching for your boyfriend’s hand again who takes it happily, giving it a tight squeeze.
“Right uh,” Eddie mumbles and scratches the back of his neck, stepping back into his house and inviting you both in. “Robin is in the living room, we can uh… talk, no one’s here, Wayne went out with Susan, Max went with them.”
Steve nods at his words, he breaks eye contact with him and looks back at you. He doesn’t know a single thing about what happened between you and his best friend, he doesn’t know what words were thrown around, what had been said, how bad it actually got. He knew it was bad, he knew it from the moment he saw the hurt look in your eyes, the disappointment towards his best friend, towards someone you thought was your friend too. You were angry, you were hurt and still, you protected her from his anger by not telling him but he needs to know now.
“I’m gonna talk to Eddie for a second, I’ll be right there,” you tell him, growing nervous as each second passes.
He nods, “alright, I’ll go talk to Robin.”
You don’t want them to fight, you don’t want him to stand between you both but you can’t stop anything now.
He gives you a smile, one that says ‘everything will be okay, no matter what happens, we’ll be okay’. He lets go of your hand and cups the side of your face, he leans down and presses a soft kiss to your lips before he steps away from you and Eddie, leaving you both in the hallway while he makes his way into the living room, where his best friend is already waiting, sitting on the couch with shaky hands and a bouncing knee, staring at the ground with nothing but anxiety and fear written all over her face. The paleness in her cheeks matched the one from the night in the upside down, when she thought that he would die of rabies.
It hurts him to see her like this and he can’t help but want to pull her into his arms. With a sigh, he speaks her name.
Robin’s head snaps up at the sound of his voice, she freezes, staring at him like she’s seen a ghost. She doesn’t stand up, doesn’t make her way over to him, she just sits there, quietly and unmoving, like a kid caught doing something their parents have warned them not to.
“Hey,” Steve mumbles softly, slowly walking towards her, wanting to go in for a hug but she stops him, holding her hand up, motioning for him not to come closer as her eyes well up with tears already.
This time it’s he who freezes, furrowing his brows at her.
“Do you know what happened?” She rushes out, her voice even shakier than her hands.
He runs his hand through his hair, sighing as he shakes his head.
“No, I don’t, I don’t know what happened, Robin. I don’t know what you said to her, she didn’t want to tell me.”
Robin sighs loudly, she shuts her eyes and leans forward, burying her face in her hands as she mumbles, “t-that makes it all worse.” She tugs at her hair and sniffles, the guilt consuming her now because even after she threw all these hurtful, disgusting words at you, you still decided to protect her from her best friend’s rage, from losing him.
How could she misjudge you so poorly?
How could she say all these things to you?
She nearly ruined that one thing that he wanted so badly, she nearly took it all away from him.
She feels the couch dipping lower, she smells his cologne and his hairspray as he sits down next to her. He doesn’t say anything, he doesn’t demand answers but he waits, he waits for her to speak up about what happened.
She takes a deep breath and pulls back, looking around herself but not at him, she can’t look into his eyes, she can’t bear to stand the disgust in them once she tells him everything.
Her heart is already pounding in her chest and her palms grow sweaty, she wipes them against her jeans and takes another few deep breaths, trying to calm herself down, trying to get rid of that gnawing feeling in her chest but there is no stopping it, no escaping, she knows how this will end.
“What I told you about her…” She begins, still refusing to look at him, “wasn’t true… That she had no feelings for you, that she… that you were just a hookup to her… that wasn’t true, you were never just that, I was wrong about it, about her.”
“Yeah, Robin.” Steve sighs, “you were wrong about her.”
She closes her eyes again, scrunching them shut as though she is in pain.
“I’ll understand if you will hate me after this, I deserve it.”
Steve shakes his head, “Robin–”
“No! No, you don’t even– fuck… I said some hideous things to her, Steve, and I thought badly of her, really badly.”
She opens her eyes, though she lowers her head again when she hears your footsteps, when she feels your eyes on her. She feels shame rising in her, growing bigger and bigger until it’s nothing but that inside of her.
From the corner of her eye, she sees you taking a seat beside Steve, he sees his hand settling on your thigh, reaching for your hand, naturally, openly. She knows what this means, she knows what you are to one another now, and it only makes the feelings in her worse because she was the one who nearly made it all impossible.
If you were still the girl that she first met when she attacked you with vile words, you and Steve wouldn’t be here now, not like this. You’d both be broken, unaware of each other’s feelings and all because of her mistake.
The urge to put all the cards on the table prompts her to spill it all out, with no hesitation, with no stopping, she spills out every word she had said to you, confesses the ugly truth to her best friend, to the one she always just wanted to protect.
Tears escape her eyes the moment she finally takes a look at him, he is angry, he is angry at her, for what she said to you, for how she hurt you. Robin had never seen him this way before, seething, furious and red in his face from the burning emotions in him.
This is the first time that Steve feels anger towards his best friend.
And as he looks at her, at the girl who knew about how he feels for you, how dear you are to him, he is in sheer disbelief, unable to understand how she could throw such comments at you, make disgusting remarks about something she never judged him for, how far was she from insulting you further?
He gets up from the couch, turning his whole body towards her, he points an angry finger at her, “you knew what she means to me! Yet you decided that breaking her apart was still the best idea!? Even if you wanted to protect my honor!? I would have understood what you did if we were in fact in an official relationship at that time, but we weren’t Robin! We were oblivious to each other’s feelings! If she did hurt me in any way, it was unintentional! But you… you judged her without knowing anything, you judged her feelings and her, you hurt her! Did you think that it would make me feel better? Do you think that hurting her would fix my pain? What the fuck, Robin?” He throws his hands up, still staring in disbelief and confusion, unable to understand how she, Robin, could do something like this.
And now, she won’t even look at him as tears spill down her cheeks.
“Steve,” you whisper softly, reaching for his hand and pulling him back.
Steve knows what you are trying to do, that you are still trying to stop him from losing a friend.
He opens his mouth to speak, though your best friend cuts him off. Eddie clears his throat and breathes in shakily, he sits down besides Robin and takes a nervous look at Steve.
“I’m not innocent in all of this either,” he admits, “it’s not just her you should be mad at. She came to me to talk about you both, about your feelings,” he mumbles, pulling his gaze away from Steve and directing it at you instead.
You raise your brows at him and cock your head to the side. You knew something happened, even before the argument with Robin, you knew they talked, you knew there was something.
“She wanted to know what you felt for him and I lied, I told her there was nothing. You asked me to keep it all a secret so I did, you didn’t want to lose him and I thought I was doing the right thing by not telling her the truth. You always thought that Steve would break things off if he found out about your feelings so… I didn’t want to give you away, if I knew about his feelings, I wouldn’t have lied but she told me the same thing I told her so…” He shrugs, not hiding the truth from either of you.
Steve rubs his temples, feeling a migraine coming in as he looks between yours and his best friend, the anger continuing to build up in him.
But you, you can’t be mad at Eddie for wanting to protect you, not a single emotion of anger rushes through you.
“Is that why you were such an asshole to me this whole time?” Steve asks, staring at him intensely. “The moment you found out about us, you treated me like I was air.”
“Can you blame me?” Eddie scoffs, “or did you forget about how you reacted when I thought you were a couple? And besides, with your reputation? I knew what she went through, Steve. I knew how deep her feelings were for you… was it bad to be cautious around you? And it’s not like I–” he pauses, glancing at Robin who only sighs at him when she meets his eyes.
“It’s not like he cussed you into oblivion… He was… still civil with you. Because unlike me towards Blondie,” she mumbles quietly, looking at you for a brief second, “Eddie gave you the benefit of the doubt.”
Eddie shakes his head, “I did swear on my mom’s grave and Hargrove’s I would punch your dick if you hurt her. Was gonna make sure that dream of yours of having six kids didn’t come true. And I still stand by this if you do hurt her in the future.”
You look down at your hands, shaking your head as a small smile appears on your face.
Steve scoffs and rolls his eyes, runs his fingers through his hair again as he takes a look around him, at Eddie and at you before he glances at her, Robin who is still hiding her face from him and from you, not shaking anymore now that the truth it all out, but her shoulders are slumped and relaxed now, there is no fear anymore, just sadness.
He is still angry.
He is still disappointed.
For a moment, it’s quiet, no words are said, no looks are shared, not until Eddie is the one to break the silence again when he stands up and steps towards Steve.
“I’m sorry for the way I treated you, man. I like you, I really do, you have been a good friend to me after all the shit went down and I shouldn’t have been that way towards you but, I love her, Steve. She is my best friend, I just wanted to protect her,” Eddie says, looking down, “I know I could’ve done that without being a dick though… So, I’m sorry, I really am.”
Steve’s brows pull together, another sigh falls from his lips. He understands it, he really does and he is glad that you have a best friend who loves you so dearly, who is loyal to you and defends you even if you don’t ask for it.
“It’s okay, Eddie, I understand it. And I accept your apology.”
Eddie presses his lips together, he nods, flashing you a quick smile before he looks back at the brunette.
“So… we’re cool?”
“Yeah, we’re cool,” Steve mumbles, still having to force a smile. “And I promise, I won’t ever hurt her again.”
Eddie’s face grows serious again, he squints his eyes and leans closer.
“Yeah, you better don’t, Harrington.”
You look between them both, a smile appearing on your face when they shake hands and Eddie smiles at him. You still sense the tension, you can see it written all over your boyfriend’s face, he needs a moment to digest all of this, you can see it in his eyes, especially when they lock on Robin’s figure.
The shuffling from your right pulls your attention on both men away, you glance at the girl, who gets up from the couch, wiping her tears before she looks around you all, unable to face you still.
“I’m sorry for what I did… It was never my intention to hurt any of you, b-but I did… and I’m really fucking sorry,” she says, sadly. “I’m gonna go now.”
You straighten your back as you watch her, watch how she is ready to walk out of here without asking for forgiveness, ready to leave without friends. Your eyes follow her, just as Steve’s and Eddie’s do too.
You push yourself up from the couch, not wanting her to leave like this.
But Steve, he steps away from Eddie and makes his way over to Robin before she can even come close to stepping out into the hallway, he steps in front of her, blocking her way. With a sigh, he wraps his arms around her and hugs her tightly, not allowing her to walk away from you all.
He might be angry, he might be hurt but she still means the world to him and even after everything, he knows her intentions were good, she wanted to protect him just like Eddie wanted to protect you.
“Thank you for loving me, Birdie.”
A sob falls from Robin’s lips, though it comes out muffled as she hides her face in his chest, “Shut up… I don’t… I don’t love you… ew.” She lies, which only makes him tighten his hold on her.
“Keep telling yourself that, Buckley.”
Her sniffles are loud, her knuckles turn white from how tightly she holds onto him. You can practically feel her regret and her fear. She thought she lost him and she was ready to let go if that’s what he’d asked of her.
But you would never be able to live with yourself if he lost her, and all because of you.
You decide to give them a moment, you glance at Eddie and nod your head towards the direction of his kitchen. He gives you a nod and starts making his way out of the living room, with one last glance at the two best friends, you follow him.
But a gentle hand stops you from leaving and you halt in your tracks when you look down to find Robin clutching your hand tightly, pulling you back. You furrow your brows and raise your head to look at her apologetic face, the tears still wet on her cheeks, her eyes puffy and filled with sadness. She pushes away from Steve and takes a step forward.
“Can we talk?” She asks and begs with her eyes, “please…”
Steve looks between you both, giving you an encouraging nod when you look into his eyes.
You breathe in deeply and nod slowly, “okay…”
Eddie looks between you both from the doorway, now gesturing to Steve to follow him so you two can talk because he can see that Robin wants to be alone with you. Steve pats Robin’s back and gives your temple a soft kiss before he leaves, though hesitating when he sees how uncomfortable you both still look.
“C’mon,” Eddie murmurs to him.
“Yeah…” Steve sighs.
The tension returns once you and Robin are left alone in the room. She wipes her tears before she looks into your eyes again, her cheeks are red, whether from all the tears she shed or the fear in her, you don’t know.
You wait patiently, not pushing her to talk, you wait until she is ready.
She starts with your name, speaking softly, “I’m so sorry… I-I was so horrible to you… and you never deserved it. It was never my intention to hurt you. If I would’ve known about your feelings, I would have never done this, I would have never said such… ugly things,” she says, scrunching her face up as she thinks back to the day. “I don’t expect you to forgive me, I haven’t– I haven’t treated you kindly… Maybe if I would’ve paid more attention to you–”
“You didn’t have to,” you shrug, cutting her off, “Steve comes first to you, Robin, I understand that.”
She nods her head but the guilt in her eyes remains.
“Yeah… I just… I would do anything to keep Dingus safe, I didn’t want to see him hurt anymore, not because of others.” She sighs and looks down, finally letting go of your hand. “But I could’ve approached it all differently, I-I never meant those things I said to you, I never meant to judge… I was angry– and that doesn’t excuse shit but… I’m just… I’m sorry.”
You nod, though the hurt is still deep.
Whether she meant it or not, she cut you deeply in that moment.
“I would’ve done the same for Eddie, but I can’t say that I wouldn’t have looked at the other person. I wouldn’t have stepped on someone else’s feelings… not without knowing them.”
She looks back up at you, the fear still evident in your features, it almost makes you, yourself feel guilty when you speak your next words.
“... I don’t forgive you, Robin.”
Her shoulders slump, her blue eyes widen and well up with fresh tears, the hurt and the shock are written all over her face. She opens her mouth to speak but no words come out. She looks like she is ready to beg as her big eyes stare into yours.
“But we can start over.”
She blinks a few times, staring at you like she is frozen in place and then, relief washes over her features and she lets out a deep sigh.
“Really?” She asks as her eyes soften.
“Yeah, really,” you whisper and give her a soft smile. “You hurt me but I really like you and I don’t want to lose another friend.”
Her next move is sudden and you nearly lose your balance when she throws her arms around you and hugs you tightly, pulling you into her embrace as she begins to whisper apologies into your ear followed by promises to never hurt you again.
You wrap your arms around her too and hug her back just as tightly.
“Thank you,” she whispers, squeezing your arms.
Only now as you stand here in the middle of your best friend’s living room, in her embrace, do you realize just how much you missed her friendship, her kind presence in your life, how much you despised her cold shoulder because you just missed her, how much it hurt to receive that treatment from her.
“Vickie got mad at me because of the way I treated you and now she is not talking to me… I guess I deserve that.”
A frown makes its way on your face, you pull back from the hug, feeling a little surprised to hear that the redhead came to your defense. You get along with Vickie but you aren’t exactly close.
You place your hand on her shoulder and look into her guilty eyes, “she didn’t break up with you though, did she?”
She shakes her head quickly, eyes widening at your question.
“Then it’s gonna be okay, we’re okay,” you point between you and her, “you and her will be too. Besides, that girl is like… head over heels gone for you. It’s written all over her face, she can’t even look away from you.”
A blush creeps up to her cheeks, her lips twitch and curl into a smile as her blue eyes light up, she looks down and breathes in shakily, staying quiet for a moment before curiosity takes over her features and she raises her head again.
“Like you couldn’t look away from Steve all these years?”
Now it’s your turn to blush and hide your face from her.
“Yeah…”
“I wish I knew…” Robin whispers, in guilt and in regret. When she found out about your feelings, she was taken back to all the times Steve had hurt you with harsh words, the pained look in your eyes, the wetness in them and the hurt in your expression suddenly made sense. If he were anyone else, you wouldn’t have been touched in the slightest but it was him, Steve, the guy you had fallen in love with long before she even befriended him. The guy who disliked you to the point of throwing vile words at you, even after you risked your life and jumped into unknown waters just to save his life. The guy you watched fall for his ex-girlfriend again, the same girl that hurt him and broke his heart, the same one that broke his heart for a second time.
Only when it was too late, when the damage was down, did she realize just how much you loved him. She was so blind to the way you looked at him because she was so focused on protecting him, if she had looked closer, just for a single second, none of this would have happened.
“It’s okay, Robin. We can move past this now.”
She nods with a small smile, a sad one.
“He really hurt you didn’t he?” Robin mumbles, now knowing how much you suffered, all these years, all because of your feelings for someone who didn’t reciprocate them until now.
It doesn’t matter anymore, the past has slipped away.
“He made up for it.”
“Yeah,” she breathes, and looks into the hallway, you both can hear their voices coming from the kitchen, the sound of a beer bottle opening. A smile appears on her face and she looks back at you, “did you watch him run around in his stupidly short gym shorts during PE?”
A snort escapes you and you slap her shoulder, rolling your eyes when your cheeks heat up at her question.
You did. And you enjoyed every second of it.
“Stop.”
A giggle falls from her lips and she pinches your side, “you so did!”
You push her hand away with a laugh and take a step back, starting to make your way out of the living room with her hot on your heels, her teasing voice following you into the kitchen where Steve and Eddie sit around the table, with drinks in their hands and looks of surprises when you and Robin walk in giggling.
Steve’s shoulders slump in relief when he sees your frowns replaced with smiles, the relaxed look he missed on your face back again, the heaviness gone in his best friend’s eyes.
Eddie gets up with a smile and walks towards his fridge to get two more beers out for you and Robin.
Steve pulls back the chair beside him, beckoning you over to him with a gentle smile. You get comfortable next to your boyfriend and lean your head on his shoulder, smiling at the kiss he greets you with.
Robin takes the seat beside Eddie, nodding at him with a smile, letting him wrap his arm around her shoulder.
Everything is okay again.
Steve and Eddie can talk to each other again, with no tension, no awkwardness. They can joke around and laugh with one another again.
And you can open up more about your feelings for Steve to Robin, about the ones she never knew of until a few days ago.
You even show her pictures of your parents, the ones that are always tucked into the little pocket in your burgundy wallet.
Yeah, it’s all okay again. It for sure isn’t perfect, not yet but it will be.
-
A warm, adoring smile rests on his happy features, his hazel eyes are glowing with love, hands itching to touch your exposed skin that is kissed by the golden sun rays shining into your room. Steve is leaning against the doorframe, fixing the cuffs on his white button down as he admires the way you look in your beautiful black dress.
Your hair falls down your exposed back in waves, glittery hair pins adorning them. The silky material clings to your curves, hugging your body perfectly, like it was made just for you. Your pink heels, the ones you have told him about weeks ago, are high, very high, he will probably have to carry you back into the house because your feet will hurt by the end of the night, but he doesn’t mind, he looks forward to it.
Your perfume lingers in your room, your skin is glowing from the moisturizer he put on your skin after your shower together. You’re wearing pretty earrings and a bracelet, your ring finger is bare, for now.
Steve slips his hand into his pocket, his heart skips a beat when he touches the cold item that he kept in the drawer of his bedside table for the past few weeks.
With excitement bubbling inside of him, he makes his way over to you, the floorboards creak beneath his feet, the smile never leaving his face. Your eyes meet his through the large mirror you stand in front of, your own lips curl into a smile as well when you look at him, you tuck the lipstick you just used into the little purse you picked out for this outfit and put it down on your table.
“Hi, handsome,” you whisper, going to turn around to face him and admire him in his getup but he stops you with the touch of his hand on your waist, he keeps you in place.
“Hey my beautiful girl,” he murmurs and leans down to press his lips against your shoulder, kissing you softly. “You look so gorgeous, this dress was made for you, darling.”
You fall back against him, melting into his arms and embracing all the butterflies that go crazy inside of you.
He looks at you like you are the most beautiful thing he’s ever laid eyes on, and it makes you weak in the knees.
“Thank you, Stevie.” You whisper and take his hand in yours, bringing it up to your lips, you kiss his knuckles and close your eyes when you lean back into his chest again. He presses his lips back to your shoulder.
“You smell so good,” he murmurs against your skin, “like a goddess.”
A giggle falls from your mouth, your stomach flutters when his hands move up your body, his minty breath ghosting against your skin. The sudden coldness around your neck makes you gasp. Your eyes widen when you open them, the warmth inside of you melting even further, your heart soars in your chest as you stare at the chain around your neck, the little pendant, the dainty, silver star with the glittery crystal in the middle catching your eye just like it did that day you saw it at the jewelry store. Your lips part the longer you stare at it, your eyes softening and shining with adoration.
You went back for this necklace, only a few days after you had first seen it but it was gone. You envied whoever had gotten their hands on it first, you never would've guessed that it was him, he got it, he got it for you, back then.
You bring your hand up, touching the pendant with softness in your eyes and in your touch, emotions crawl up inside your body, pushing at your eyes and turning them glassy, you look at him through the mirror, staring at the smile on his lips, at the love in his eyes.
“You… You bought it?”
He nods sheepishly, whispering a small ‘yes’.
His hands return to your waist when you turn around to face him.
“You mentioned it that one night when we talked on the phone, I got it the next day.” He explains with all the giddiness in him.
You blink.
Feeling stunned by his words and by his actions, you can only stare into your boyfriend’s warm eyes. You remember telling him this before your feelings were known… when that spark of hope was dwindling inside your chest.
“I knew it was this one,” he explains and glances down at the necklace, “well, I had a feeling it was, besides you love stars and shiny things, so I–”
You cup his cheeks and cut him off with your lips, kissing him deeply and softly, with all your love and all your adoration, messing up your freshly applied lipstick in the process but you couldn’t care less at this moment. Your heart is beating strongly, the hotness in your body consuming you fully.
Steve melts into your touch, into your kiss, he slides his hand down to your lower back, touching your exposed back and pulling you tightly against him as he happily reciprocates the kiss, smiling into it, loving every second of it.
“I love you,” you whisper, softly. “I love you so much, Steve Harrington.”
He tilts your chin up with his fingers, pecking your rosy lips once more after he whispers your name, “I love you so much more.”
You still need time to get used to it all, to get used to his I love you’s, to the softness in his eyes. It all still feels so surreal – just like it does to him. Steve feels like he is the luckiest man in the world, in the whole universe.
You pout at him so cutely, it makes him want to drop to his knees before you.
“No, I–”
He cuts you off this time, pressing his lips back to yours and stealing your breath away with a strong kiss, one that makes you moan and squirm in his arms. Heat builds up in you as you grow weaker for your man. You are forced to fight the urge to grab at slicked back hair, mess up this masterpiece he had spent so much time on. You love the look of it, of him in a suit but you can’t wait to rip his clothes off and mess up his hair, later in the night.
“S-Steve,” you whimper when he trails down kisses to your neck, breathing in your sweet perfume.
A lazy smile appears on your lips, “w-we have to…” Another moan escapes you, cutting you off when he kisses that one spot that makes you scrunch your brows together. His strong hands bunch up the material of your dress, he breathes heavily against you, humming in delight as he praises your beauty.
“S-Stevie… we have to… we’re gonna be late,” you whimper and grab at his biceps, not making much effort to push him away though.
His hands roam your body, grabbing at your butt, feeling the hunger in him rising.
“C-Come on, baby.” You whisper as your eyelashes flutter, “w-we can… we can use the backseat of your car later…”
He pulls away with a smirk on his face, squeezing your butt once again, he wiggles his eyebrows at you, “what, in the church parking lot?”
You slap his shoulder playfully and shake your head at him, which prompts him to just pull you tighter against him.
“They’re not even getting married there,” you chuckle.
“No?” He asks as he leans in again, going straight back to your neck, making you hum in delight. He smacks his lips against your skin, repeatedly, not getting enough of you.
“N-No, just at the… Steve…!”
With a chuckle he finally pulls away but not without pecking your lips first, getting all the gloss on his own.
“Okay, okay,” he murmurs as he squeezes your waist, “will you help me put this on?” He reaches for the bow tie on the little table you had kept all your makeup on.
You take it from his hand right away, nodding happily.
He leans down, giving you more access to his neck when you reach your hands behind him to place the tie under the collars of his button down. Your stomach flutters yet again when you breathe in his cologne.
You fix the bow on the front, trying not to smile when you feel him staring at your face. A smile graced his lips.
“Steve…” You whisper, blushing.
“Yes, baby?”
“You’re making me nervous.”
He smirks at your words, adoring the look on your face, “I’m just admiring my gorgeous girl, you truly look like a goddess, especially in this dress.”
“And you look really handsome in your suit and tie, Stevie.” You lean closer to him, pressing your lips to his ear, “really sexy too.”
His smirk widens, his hands dip lower on your body again as your own move down his chest as your hungry eyes meet one another’s and your bodies instinctively move closer and closer.
It’s safe to say that you don’t make it out of your house in time but with good reason and under good disguise — Lego Head picking up Blondie for a wedding? Who thought that it would’ve been a good idea?
When Steve parks his BMW in the parking lot of the beautiful venue that Joyce had picked out, you share a look with each other when your friends catch sight of you both. They’re all standing around Eddie’s car, in their gowns and suits.
You unbuckle your seatbelt and grab the handle of the car door.
“Ready for the show, Lego Head?” You smirk.
A chuckle leaves his lips, he has to fight the urge to kiss you right here and in front of all your friends.
“So ready.”
You wink at him before you turn your back to him, opening the door when he stops you with his hand on your thigh. You look down and then back at him over your shoulder.
“I love you.”
Your eyes soften, you crave his soft lips on your own so badly.
“I love you too, Steve.”
Your heels barely hit the ground before Max and El come rushing over to you, excitedly, gushing over your dress and how pretty you look.
Steve has to bite his tongue at that moment, fighting the urge to agree with them and tell them how gorgeous his girl is.
“Took you long enough!” Dustin says, throwing his hands up.
“Yeah, yeah,” Steve murmurs, shrugging as he points at you, “don’t blame me, Blondie didn’t know what shoes to pick.”
Nancy furrows her brows at his words, an amused smile making its way on her face as she eyes the pink heels you have picked out weeks ago, already.
“Hey, don’t blame me, Lego Head. You showed up too late cause you took forever with your hair.”
Eddie and Robin share a look of confusion.
“Funny you show up late together,” Lucas grins, wiggling his brows at the both of you.
Will snickers beside him, shaking his head at his friend.
You stop beside Steve and he nearly gives you away already when he lifts his arm to wrap it around you, stopping midway and playing it off by fixing the sleeves of his jacket but someone had caught him already.
Argyle whistles at you, making Jonathan chuckle, “you look so gorgeous, chica. Save me a dance, will you?”
Steve takes a step closer to you, something that makes both you and Eddie share an amused glance, the metalhead speaking softly to you.
“Save me one too, sweetheart,” he winks at you and then looks at Steve smugly, who only shakes his head at him in response, at his teasing.
Dustin smirks at Eddie and wiggles his brows, leaning in to whisper something in his ear.
Nancy, who is standing next to Will, eyes Steve’s face, watching the way he rolls his eyes at the curly haired teenager as he takes a step closer to you. A small chuckle escapes her mouth, something that makes Will smile to himself.
“I think Blondie and Steve should dance!” El beams at the two of you, loving to use the nickname he gave you. She looks between the two of you with a huge smile on her face.
“Me and Lego Head?” You snort, acting like you aren’t dying for him to lead you to the dance floor and drop this act once and for all.
“Yeah,” Steve snorts, mimicking you. He doesn’t look as serious as you do, he struggles to. “She’s probably gonna step all over my feet.”
Eddie can see the lovesick look in his eyes, the way Steve struggles to hide his smile, the way he has to restrain himself from pulling you into his arms. Oh, he is gone. He can’t understand how he hadn’t seen it before.
“Yeah, I wore them just for you, Stevie.”
Your eyes lock and for a moment, everything around you disappears, it’s just the two of you. Your smiles spread and your eyes shine for one another.
The tension between you a different than ever before.
But it still goes unnoticed by most.
During the ceremony, you sit between your boyfriend and your best friend. You are unaware of Dustin’s and Lucas’s snickers when they keep glancing your way. You hold Steve’s hand, the whole time. A few tears escape your eyes when Hopper speaks his vows, when he openly shows his love to his pretty bride.
And in that moment, Steve holds your hand tighter than before, he plays with your ring finger, thinking about one thing only as he stares at the two people on the altar, exchanging their rings and kissing one another with nothing but love.
A soft smile graces his lips when he looks at you. He can’t wait to be the one putting a ring on your finger. He can’t wait for his future with you.
The evening goes by in a blur, you laugh with your friends, and share drinks, laugh at all the speeches spoken, cry at the ones from Will and Jonathan when they show their appreciation and love for their mom and the man who promised to take care of his family.
You hold Steve’s hand beneath the table, play with his fingers and sneak glances and smiles at him. He whispers sweet nothings into your ear when no one is looking but you both get tired of putting on this show.
A very tipsy Hopper makes his way to your table, he stops behind your and Steve’s chair and greets you two with a big smile before he looks around the round table.
“Are you here to take a few shots with me, Chief?” Eddie grins at him, already holding up the vodka bottle.
Hopper waves at him, “your uncle’s sitting over there, young man.”
Eddie snorts and follows to where the older man is pointing at, his uncle is sitting next to his girlfriend, smiling at her.
“Mr. Munson is preoccupied,” Argyle chuckles and nudges his chin at Wayne who is now pulling Susan on the dance floor.
Hopper nods and looks around the table before he directs his glance at you and Steve, “how come I have seen everyone on the dance floor but the two of you?”
Steve chuckles and shrugs.
“Yeah, Steve, why didn’t you ask her to dance with you yet?” Lucas grins, wiggling his brows to which Max only giggles.
“Yeah, be a gentleman and take the lady for a dance,” Robin smirks at her best friend.
Hopper grabs Steve’s shoulder, pulling him up, “come on, boy.”
You giggle at the older man, staring at the teasing grin on his face as he forces your boyfriend to stand up. Steve straightens his back and looks down at you with a grin, he’s been waiting for this moment, all night, to take your hand and lead you to the dance floor.
Hopper pats him on the back, fixing Steve’s collar as he grins at him, “go on, ask her.”
You and Steve are both very well aware of all the eyes on you, of the teasing glances from the friends who know and the ones who don’t but neither of you care, not anymore.
Steve clears his throat and offers his hand to you, “would you like to dance with me?” He asks softly and looks into your eyes with love.
Your eyes run up and down his body, your lips curling into a happy smile. You place your hand in his, “I would love to.”
You let him pull you up, let him place his hand on your lower back, you let him lead you away from the table your friends sit around and you follow him onto the dance floor.
“Took you long enough, Steve,” you tease him and shoot Hopper a smile as he passes by, making his way back to his now wife.
Steve wraps his arm around your waist, not caring to hide any longer, he pulls you closer against him, he smiles down at you, “mhm, gonna show everyone whose girl you are.” He says rather possessively.
Your stomach flutters with butterflies, your eyes lighten up but your lips curl into a teasing smile, “is that jealousy I hear in your voice, Stevie?”
“What if it is?”
“Then I’ll tell you that there is no reason for you to feel that ever, I’m all yours.”
Steve pulls you into the middle of the dance floor, lifting your hand and twirling you around before he pulls you against his chest, making you giggle.
“That’s right,” Steve murmurs and envelops your body in his, stepping out of hiding, showing everyone that this is more than just a friendly dance, that you and him are more to each other than anyone thinks, that you are his and he is yours, “my girl.”
There beneath the dim string lights, surrounded by a love song neither of you pay attention to, because in this moment, nothing around you exists, nothing but you and him. You look at each other happily, adoringly.
“My boy,” you whisper and take another step closer, pressing your chest to his, gripping his hand tighter, melting into his touch as his palm lies on the small of your back.
His eyes swim with love, lighting up at your words, his heart goes crazy in his chest.
“I’m all yours,” he whispers and leans in closer, blood rushes to his cheeks, his lips curl into a soft smile. Steve nuzzles his nose against yours, coming closer and closer. Every wish of his, every craving from these past few months with you, finally come to life.
Steve can hold you, he can pull you closer, he can gaze at you with starry eyes, he can kiss and love you openly. He can do this now. Pressing his lips to yours, he kisses you deeply, softly, passionately. He cradles your cheeks and shows the world that you belong to each other and his heart screams in joy at that — just like yours does, your heart soars, everything in you screams out of happiness.
Your eyes are closed, your arms now wrapped around his neck as your hand gets lost in his hair, no longer caring about not messing it up. You feel him smiling into the kiss and you can’t help but do the same.
Eddie and Robin watch you both with smiles on their faces, happy for their best friends.
Mike is rambling into Lucas’s ear about how much basketball sucks, that he should drop it and just focus on DnD again. The teenage boy only rolls his eyes in response, turning away from his friend, he opens his mouth to ask Max for a dance when the sight before him makes him freeze. His brown eyes widen and his jaw drops. Feeling as though his eyes betray them, he rubs them. You and Steve are in each other’s arms, swaying to the music with your lips locked.
Lucas leans over his girlfriend, slapping Dustin’s shoulder, “dude… dude!” He says for a second time, loudly enough for everyone at the table to stop their conversations and look at him.
Dustin frowns at him, shrugging, “what—“ He pauses and follows to what Lucas is pointing at, his own eyes widen and he nearly bolts from his chair when he sees the two of you kissing, “what!?” He shrieks, making El cup her hands over her ears.
Dustin stares at you and Steve in disbelief.
“But…” He mumbles and slowly turns to Eddie, pointing between you and him.
Everyone looks at the two of you now, Jonathan’s eyes are wide, just like Argyle’s are, though there’s a hint of something else in his eyes as he tilts his head at the both of you.
A warm smile lingers on Nancy’s face, she knew it already, she knew it this whole time, she saw the way you looked at him, the way he looked at you, the way he never looked at her. She is happy for him, he finally found his person and she is happy for you, that you found someone who will cherish you and give you the love he always wanted to give, the love that you deserve.
El is admiring the two of you, silently.
Max and Will share looks with each other and smile.
“But I thought… What the hell? Are they drunk?” Dustin asks Eddie.
“Nope.”
“Then why are they…?”
Eddie grins at the curly haired boy, slapping his hand on his shoulder, “they’re dating.”
Dustin shakes his head, furrowing his brows, “no she is not, she is dating you.”
Lucas slaps his hand over his head, “you’re a fucking idiot.”
“She is my best friend!” Eddie laughs loudly, “besides, I have a girlfriend, you met her!”
Dustin rubs his head, glaring at Lucas who is now grinning as he watches you two.
“I thought it was a bluff!”
Lucas points at you, “she is literally kissing Steve right now!”
Will clears his throat and leans forward, “yeah, and she’s been kissing Steve for a while now.”
Everyone snaps their heads at Will, everyone except for Max.
Eddie’s brown eyes flicker with confusion, he pulls his brows together and stares down at the boy, “what did you just say?”
“It was around like… before the fourth of july, right?” Will asks, glancing at Max, who nods with a smirk on her face.
“Oh yeah, that sounds about right.”
Robin nods at Eddie, pursing her lips, “fourteen year olds are more perceptive than us, Munson.”
Everyone gapes at them, especially Lucas who squints his eyes at his girlfriend, “you knew this whole time and you didn’t tell me!?” He throws his hands up, “I was the one who wanted them together!” He says dramatically.
Argyle slaps Jonathan’s chest, eyes widening, as he finally remembers, “I told you I saw him grab her ass!”
Jonathan’s frown slips from his face and he straightens his back, “and I told you I saw her kiss him!”
Argyle slumps back in his chair, mumbling quietly, “and that one time they walked out of the bathroom together.”
Nancy, who is stunned at her boyfriend and his best friend's words, turns to face them both, “and you never said anything!?”
Jonathan throws his hands up in surrender, “we were high as a kite! We might’ve been hallucinating for all we knew! I mean they hated each other!”
Will chuckles at his brother, “you didn’t have to be high to catch these two, they always held hands and kissed when they thought no one was watching.”
Mike turns to face his best friend, he hasn’t given any reactions yet, not until now.
“And now you didn’t say anything?”
Will shrugs at him, “didn’t you hear the part when I said ‘they thought no one was watching’? They were clearly keeping it a secret.”
Your giggle tears everyone’s attention away from Will. Steve is now twirling you around as the love song ended and an upbeat song took over. Your smile is wide, just like his. He’s laughing with you, staring at you like you are the only girl in the world. You are clinging to one another, dancing like it’s only you and him in this world, not caring about anyone around you, not minding the prying eyes or the curious looks.
Lucas is grinning, though still confused about how it all went by him, how he never noticed a single thing but he is happy to see you two together.
Eddie and Robin are smiling too, well, everyone is smiling.
“Come on,” Lucas stands up, pushing his chair back and bowing down before his girlfriend as he offers his hand out to her, “let’s dance.”
Max bites back her smile, hiding her blushing cheeks behind her hair, she takes his hand and gets up, smoothing down her gown.
Eddie watches as the teens join you both on the dancefloor and he looks over at Robin, nudging her shoulder, “wanna join them?”
Robin raises her eyebrows at him, glancing over at the four of you, “sure, let’s go,” she shrugs and gets up, passing by Dustin, she ruffles his curls, “come on, Dusty, you’re coming with us.”
When the metalhead comes up beside you, he steals Max away from Lucas, chuckling at the offended look on his face, “sorry, gotta dance with my sis for a while, Sinclair!”
And as everyone joins the dance floor, the girls try to snatch you away for details, while the guys try to ask Steve what the hell happened, you don’t let anybody rip your hands apart.
Long months, nights, days, hours and minutes, hidden in the shadows away from everyone else. Hiding from one another even, not showing your true feelings. You both don’t want to hide any longer. You both want to remain open, and for everyone to see and to know. To talk about. You both want people to envy your love, as well as want it. That’s how strong it is.
Soft whispers of I love you’s are shared, every time your mouth grazes his ear, or he comes closer to press his forehead to yours. It was the perfect night, yet, you weren’t afraid of the end of it. You two will see each other the next day, and the next, and the next… the moment will never be over.
So when the both of you are sitting on your kitchen table, your feet in a bucket full of ice water, both drunk out of your minds but still laughing while eating McDonald’s, and he watches you eat lazily, with adoring eyes and a look of love on his face, he takes your hand and whispers–
“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Abed
´*: ・゚⋆˒ team green x hateful reader (slight Aegon x reader)
╰・゚✧☽ dabble.
╰・゚✧☽ warnings: reader hates cole so bad, uncanon events, targ-cest, had a thought for days and made it, team green defenders don’t come after me- because I’m not on their side doesn’t mean I am a bad person, or hate you. I understand you💜🫵
“I was abed, your Grace.”
Spinning your finger around the cup as Aegon questioned the man you hated for years and his response made a laugh rumble from your throat. Silent sweeps the room and all eyes turn to you while it goes unnoticed by yourself from the thoughts in your head. Mourning wasn’t a word to describe what you felt, anger and madness perhaps are the best words to use.
Aegon stepped back and glanced curiously at you while caught in a daze, “Sister?” his calling is enough to snap out of it. As his eyes found yours it was clear the single thread behind his eyes began to snap, “Care to share what is a jest to you at a moment like this?” all watch as he walks across the table.
“While my son is dead?” he stopped before you.
Alicent knew the hatred for Cole runs throughout your blood. Ever since you were a child you refused to listen to him, mocked him, even tried to stab him in training. Some of that hate was also for her as well but you loved her enough. Though, the way you looked at both of them with a sly smirk of what you had witnessed a few weeks before put it through doubt.
“I am just tickled, by the person who is really at fault her brother. Aegon you of course took the knights and some men to entertain last night, but I am sure there were more when I left helaens room last night?” fulling playing with them as you lean back in the chair, “If I recall our mothers hall happened to have all guards dismissed last night.”
Alicent looked frightened and wanted to beg you to keep silent as the men look at her, Cole by her side in disbelief. “Ser Criston Cole said he was abed,” looking into the dark haired mans eyes, you feel a power wash over you unlike anything you have felt. “But he did not say where.”
Aegon looked at the man who helped raise him and his jaw tighten, “tell the truth,” taking a deep breath before slamming his hands down onto the table, “Now.” He shouted and made all except you flinch.
“Forgive me, but the princess has no idea what-” pushing the chair out from beneath your legs in a haste movement and grabbing hold of the handle of your sword.
“He was bedding our mother,” the looks of shock are louder then words could say. leaning closer to your older brother, “he left his post at your child’s bed. But clearly what’s in between our mothers legs is more important.”
“That is enough,” Alicent raised up and looked at both of you in tearful eyes, “I am to blame. Punish me, we meant non of this to happen.”
“Is it true.”aegons head starts to shake, his eyes darkening.
One simple nod and cry from his mother and that’s all he needed and rushed forward to cole and start to shout and punch him. Of course cole is more skilled and managed to slip away. And as much as you enjoy some action be taking against him, you had to stop it.
“Strip him of his power, his armor but don’t kill him,” Aegon alway had a soft spot for you because you understood him, played along to his ways. “Let me handle him, and let our mother go unharmed.” Raising a hand to his cheek you stroke the skin, he was so easy to manipulate.
“He is yours, sister. Punish him however you see fit.”
I really hate coke so much. Like if i could just skip to his death i would, i couldn’t care about anything else. Idk if you are mad at that, he just pisses me off.

From a meaningless virtual life to the preppy boy I am now
Elliot's story
To convince you to come to the Preppy Academy, here's Elliot's personal testimonial. His life has changed radically thanks to our school's methods. The following are his words:
Hello, my name is Elliot, I'm 20. I'm a student at the Preppy Academy. I'd like to thank M.Gilliard, our principal, who has asked me to write an account of my time here.
Two years ago, I was still living with my father. I often dressed in sportswear; I loved Adidas clothes, so comfortable and easy to put on. Did I do any sport? No, not at all, but my mates dressed the same, so I followed suit. When I wasn't at school, I used to play video games all the time. I wore my clothes for days on end because I was too lazy to change. My bedroom was a real dump, with everything strewn all over the place. My diet consisted of eating chips and drinking sodas.
My father was fed up with my bad behavior. He works in business, economics, something like that. My mother left us when I was a kid, and since then it's just been me and him. He'd tell me to “tidy my room”, “get dressed properly”. But I didn't give a damn, soon, I thought, I'll be able to leave soon, and I thought I'd be able to live with a friend in a flat-share for a bit of fun.
There was a week when I made a decision that I had regretted at the time but that now makes me what I am. That week, it was at the beginning of my school year and I was playing a game that was too epic and I wanted to do it too much, so I made my dad think I was going to high school while I was pretending. Then, when he left for work, I'd come back and play on my P.S. console. But my stupidity caught up with me, and my father was contacted by the school and told of my repeated absences. It was a Thursday lunchtime, I remember, and he came home to find me quietly in bed. He came into my dirty room and said:
" Elliot, that's enough! You're not going to school anymore, you're dressing like crap. Look at you, you've got holes in your clothes. You haven't washed or combed your hair in days. Things are going to change for you. A colleague at work told me about a boarding school that would be perfect for you. "
I was on my phone when he said this so I half-listened, as usual. He was clearly desperate about my behavior and had every reason to be. Now I understand. At the end of the afternoon, my father called me and reminded me that he had to take me to the dentist for an annual check-up. I'd completely forgotten, it wasn't something I was interested in remembering. I stayed in the same clothes and he took me to the dentist. I really didn't remember the appointment. Once there, my father accompanied me inside. A waiting room with other parents and their teenagers. There were guys from high school, who were also dressed in sweatpants and sweatshirts and sneakers. I wasn't the only one who dressed like that, which is why it seemed normal to do so. When it was my turn, the dentist called me in. I sat down in his dentist's chair. He asked me to lie down so he could check the inside of my mouth. He put some products in my mouth to relax it. And these products were starting to put me to sleep; he'd put in more than usual.
I had fallen asleep on his armchair, I didn't know for how long. When I woke up, my hands were tied tightly to the chair. I tried to speak, but my mouth was still anesthetized. My father was talking to the dentist, and they were both looking at me. My father had collected my things, my bag and my phone. Looking around, I soon realized that I wasn't really at the dentist. The man posing as one approached me and said:
"Elliot, your father, has informed us of your behavior at home and has decided to leave you with us for a while. Do you agree? "
I couldn't answer as my mouth was still anesthetized.
" Since you're not answering my question, I imagine you're completely in agreement. If you don't say anything within a minute, we'll assume you agree."
I was trying to speak to refuse and scream for help, but only discreet moans came out.
" Then we do have your agreement. "
My eyes began to tire again and I finally dozed off again.
I don't know what treatment he gave me, but it was like a dissociation. I saw myself outside my body like a ghost looking at my body. My father left with my things. The staff laid me properly on the bed and undressed me. I was completely naked at one point. They put a red ball in my mouth and covered my mouth with a gag that held with a tight strap behind it. I was as if unable to act, in the hands of my kidnappers. They dressed me in a white short-sleeved polo shirt, buttoned all the way up, tucked into khaki shorts with a brown belt, white knee-high socks and black loafers. They then cut my hair and styled it, neatly styled to the side and held with wax. I began to regain consciousness little by little, but I felt as if I were paralyzed in my own body, between the products that were still taking effect and the bonds that prevented me from fleeing.
"Elliot, you're back with us. We've prepared you in a more respectable outfit than the garbage you used to wear. This preppy outfit suits you much better. Your hair looks much better like this. You probably have a lot of questions, but you're in good hands. I'm Doctor Greenwood, I'm here when sometimes you need a little push to get you into the Academy. I'll leave you here tonight and you'll make your official entrance tomorrow. "
I was stuck on this bed for several hours, and above me they'd set up a screen with a series of images and sounds that I had no choice but to watch. And no matter how tempted I was to close my eyes, a deep voice kept reading every word on the moving image. Eventually, I fell asleep to the rhythm of the video, which hypnotized me as it went along.
“I want to be a preppy boy. Good preppy boys must obey, serve, submit, behave. Good boys comply. I want to be a good preppy boy” again and again and again...
This mantra was stuck in my head like music that never wants to come out. I still felt resistance, an urge to rebel and run away, but I was blocked and strangely began to feel pleasure at the idea of being a good preppy boy.
When I woke up, four men in their thirties, all dressed in pastel shirts tucked into their pants, with bowties and loafers, took me by force. They took me by the arms and forced me to follow them. They put me in a van and tied me up. My gag was still in my mouth and I couldn't scream. I was at their mercy, with no power or control over the situation. I was their object.
I was taken to a large, ivy-league type establishment, at the top of the main entrance is written “Preppy Academy”. I was led inside and up the stairs. I arrive in a very elegant office, with wood paneling and bookcases on every wall. The 4 men undress me.
I find myself in a preppy outfit: a white and blue striped OCBD shirt, pastel yellow shorts, red and blue suspenders, a dark blue and red striped tie tied around my neck, long white knee-high socks and dark loafers. Nothing to do with my outfits at home. I've been completely transformed into a preppy boy. I'm left with my hands tied and my mouth gagged in this office. I don't know what to do, I'm a slave to this establishment. My outfit isn't as comfortable as the one at home, I can feel the fabric of my shirt on my torso compressing me, the suspenders holding my shorts are like two ropes binding my outfit to my body, the pulled-up socks are so humiliating, I feel like a boy. But as I think I'm disgusted by my outfit, I realize that it actually turns me on. I like to think I have to be dressed like this to feel good. A few minutes later, a man in his fifties walks in. He's dressed in a nice three-piece suit, with a red tie. He looks at me deeply:
"Hello Elliot! Welcome to the Preppy Academy. Your father told me you weren't behaving properly at home. He contacted us and paid for your enrollment. Whether you like it or not, you're staying here. You'll wake up here and sleep here. Your education needs to be reviewed. You must learn to be a good preppy boy for your superiors. I am M.Gilliard, the principal of this prestigious establishment. I am the Master of all the students here. You owe me obedience, submission, service and respect. "
These words enchanted me, and even though I wanted to leave, I could only nod in agreement.
"To complete your admission among us, I must collect something. "
The 4 young men from earlier return and make me sit down on the chair, holding me tight. Mr. Gilliard unzips my pants and pulls out my penis. I start moaning, not agreeing with what's happening. Mr.Gilliard puts a sort of cage on my penis, forcing it to stay very small and any erection would hurt.
" It's called a chastity cage. I'm the only one who keeps the keys. Every good boy here is caged. Your personal pleasure doesn't matter; you're here to obey and learn to serve. Your only satisfaction at the end of the day is to please men superior to you. "
“I want to be a preppy boy. Good preppy boys must obey, serve, submit, behave. Good boys comply. I want to be a good preppy boy”. This phrase made more and more sense. I was introduced to the establishment, the rules to follow and taken to a room I had to share, with a wardrobe full of preppy clothes, nothing I'd had before.
I've been here for two years now and I don't want to leave. I like to serve my Master when he asks for it. I like being a good preppy boy. Obedient and helpful. I don't miss my old life anymore. I encourage all boys and men to come to the Preppy Academy. You'll love it!

Venus ˖ ࣪⊹
Severus Snape x Wife!Reader
sum: Over 15 years together. Their love was never second guessed or had changed, but was destroyed by something bigger than them.
warnings: Angst, cursing, mentions of children(their parents), character death. not proofread.
“I’m tired Severus..”
His eyes looking up at the women, his wife. He knew she was tired that she wanted this all to be over. She wanted to feel safe, she wanted for their children to be safe. He wanted nothing more than to make that possible for them, for his girls. But life’s not as simple as taking his family far away from the dangers of hogwarts and The Dark Lord.
The Darkness of their private chambers surrounded them, the only light coming from the fire, he hated seeing her cry. Her gentle hands whipping away the tears that ran down her face, the golden ring on her left hand that glistens. A symbol of their love, their trust, their devotion. As Severus made his way close to her he reached out his hands, them cupping her face carefully.
His eyes watched her carefully, part of him wanting to hear her thoughts, but they were still, just like he taught her. She was tierd her dark features showing the circles under her eyes the wrinkle in her brow become more profound, she was washed out her warm undertone now cool. His thumbs gently brushed her tears away, his hands pulling her close to him. Severus placed soft kisses on her temple, “I’m so sorry my dear..” he whispered into her hair placing another kiss.
He wanted to go Home, he wanted to take his girls home away from her but he couldn’t. She couldn’t ask him either because she knew, she knew that this was asked of him. That’s this was expected of him. He held her close as close as he could.
She couldn’t stand how the students were getting treated how her children’s lives were threatened if Severus didn’t follow through with the plans. Yet as plans proceed, things became more dangerous. Dangerous to the point of war, “They can’t stay here, if war were to break out who knows what would become of the castle.” Her hushed tone argued with her husband.
“If our girls leave from his line of sight god knows what he’d do, they’re safest here.”
“Zhuriya can stay, she’s the one he’s most fascinated with yes? She strong and able to protect herself, she had already planed on fighting alongside her classmates if things were to happen.” She hissed, “But Sa’diya and Elani can’t, for gods sake Elani is mearly months old and Diya is 5.”
He shook his head “They’re Safest her, please. Please don’t take them or leave them with someone else.” He spoke his tone begging for her to trust him and to not do anything rash that could put her in danger let alone their babies.
Moments of peace weren’t common by any means but even in the dark of times he could feel at ease. The dark of the night the cries of the newborn could be heard, yes at first it can cause worry. Hushing his wife back to sleep he spotted his 5 year old curled against her mother, kissing her head he slipped out of bed to retrieve the youngest. Her soft cries nothing out of the ordinary, just her vocally sharing her discomfort and hunger.
He hummed picking the baby out of her crib, the hushed tone of his voice immediately calming her down. By no means was another child apart of their plan of the dark lords take over nor a new born at that, a new born that was a bit more difficult than their other two. “hmm hello sweet girl… what causes you such distress..” He cooed craddeling Elani in his arms.
As he walked into the living room there sat his eldest candle lit by her side and book in her lap, her body curled up on the couch as she read. “I was going to get her.” Zhuriya spoke her gaze not leaving her book.
He hummed “There’s no need, hoping i don’t have to wake your mother to feed her,” he paused for a moment whispering a quick spell lighting the fire place. “reasoning to why your not in bed?” he asked standing next to the arm of the couch she rested on.
“no classes tommorow, and simply couldn’t sleep.” she spoke her tone flat, just as his always was.
his brows frowned, Severus knew his eldest and knew she could sleep in any situation. She was having nightmares again, at least that’s what he called them, to her they were types of visions in a way showing her things in the future. Sometimes, actually almost all the time they came true even if they were just close calls. “You want to talk about it?”
She looked up slightly “Their just nightmares right?” shifting in her seat she closed her book and sat up “They don’t mean anything.” she finished placing her book down walking past him into the kitchen.
“Zhuriya..” He called them nightmares to comfort her in a way or at least tried to comfort her, but in the end these dreams were always right. He watched as his eldes daughter grabbed a bottle that just needed heating up, quick wave of her wand it was perfect.
“You can go back to be dad i got her.”
Severus took the bottle form her, “I have her, now please. Tell me what you’re seeing, your mind is to still to invade it.” he spoke his tone a bit teasing at the end.
Ushering her back to the living space they both sat down, Zhuri next to her Father as he fed the baby. She played with her fingers as she built up the courage to say something, she looked just like her mother when she worried. Her dark curls covering her face as she looked down, “The Elder Wand.” she spoke softly. His attention was on her, what about it? what about the elder wand kept her from sleeping?
When her gaze met his he saw her waterlines building with tears, “When Draco, well when you disarmed Dumbledore, the elder wand no longer belongs to him. The master you could say is the person who disarms the last holder..” she spoke her voice shaky, “Now The Dark Lord has it. But It will never truly fully obey him unless.”
“Unless I’m killed.” he finished for her. He watched her lip quiver as she nodded.
Severus pulled her close to him, baby still in arms. There wasn’t anything he could say to comfort her because with that simple explanation it was inevitable. “Shh, My sweet girl..”
“I saw That snake sink it teeth into you. He didn’t even spare you the suffering, god.” her she spoke in a muffled cry. He pressed a soft kiss to the top of her head his arm still holding her close.
“Zhuriya, Baby what’s wrong?” the worried voice of her mother causing them to look up. ‘Don’t tell her what you told me, please my dear i need her to rest easy..’
He felt her nod against him “Baby what’s the matter?” she asked again now closer bending down infront of their daughter.
“Just stress of school, wondering if Draco is safe..” She muttered. Y/n held her daughters face kissing her daughters cheeks softly. The two exchanged some words he kinda shut down, He’d die? No, he couldn’t not while he’s still active he couldn’t leave them, He couldn’t leave Y/n.
“Severus.. Sev baby?” Y/ns voice broke him out of his trace.
He hummed “Let’s go to bed.. Elani is out and Zhuri is going to head back to bed. I put Diya back in her bed but don’t be surprised if she’s in yours Z..” she hummed.
Zhuri shook her head a small smile tugging at her lips “She struggling to stay in her own bed?”
His wife nodded “She’s just at the age and with everything going on…”. Zhuri nodded“right.. Goodnight mama, night Daddy. I love you guys.” Zhuriya said before heading towards her room.
As she left to room His wife looked at him, “what was that?” she asked. She knew that her daughter had lied to her.
Severus shook his head as he approached her, his hands falling to the side of her arms. With a kiss to her temple he whispered “Tis nothing my love, let’s return to bed..” his works comforting as he hugged her and the baby in her arms. The hug lingered Severus closing his eyes tightly as he embraced her.
He spend every day since that night taking in as much as he could with him girls but knowing when he’d be taken from them. Showing them his love for them in affection he never really displayed, kissed to the temple, constant I love yous, hugs. Everything he could.
Y/n knew something was wrong but nobody would tell her, she was left in the darkness of his affection. How cruel of him to keep this but, he couldn’t just tell her, his wife that he’d die in days time. That soon it would be the last time he’d kiss her and embrace her, after years of being by her side. She’d lose her mind knowing that he’d die as some point and end up trying to prevent it.
Severus felt his heart stop when that moment the dark lord started explaining to him the reason of his wand now fully working for him was because of him. He knew that this was that moment. He knew that morning was the last time he’d see his girls and by gods they weren’t even fully happy. He wouldn’t get to see them happy again and it’s his fault.
“Promise me, by killing me you won’t touch them. You wont hurt my family.”
Laying on the cold ground, the taste of his own blood sickening to him. Potter was the first to find him, “Just hold on professor, please just hold on.” He spoke. Harry’s trembling hands left his throat as he got up.
“Y/n… i’m so sorry..” his voice soft as he cried out for his wife.
He would die here alone, maybe it was better that way. He could feel his heart to slow down, the difficulty of breathing becoming harder. He begun to close his eyes, just as he did, just as he was about to let himself take his last breath.
Her voice. “Severus! no! No, no, no..”
The cry of his name leaving her mouth. opening his eyes he saw her rushing towards him.
No, don’t do this. His heart begun to break watching as she fell to her knees her hands immediately falling to his wound. He couldn’t hear was she was saying her voice muffled as she could only watch her, his weak hand finding her face as she sobbed.
Her beautiful features covered in tears, dirt and blood. Even as distraught as she was she was still so beautiful, His heart heavy as she trembled her touch becoming shaken. With the strength he had left he brought her close to him, her hands never leaving their spot.
“I’m sorry.” he whispered.
Her heavy cries begging him not to leave yet. That she needed him, that his girls needed him still. Her hushed tones say that this wasn’t fair, “You’ve only ever done what’s asked of you..” she said lifting her head looking him in the eyes.
“They’ve done nothing but set you up for your own death. It’s not fair….” she cried her fire heat touching his, he felt her tears on his own face.
“You didn’t ask for this life..” he rasped , “This wasn’t the life i promised you… I love you so much.” he cried softly.
“you’ve done more that enough for me, for us.”
with a heavy breath she begun again “I couldn’t ask for anything more from you..” she could feel his touch become softer his hand falling from her.
In this moment was their love was destroyed by The man everyone feared.
She couldn’t do this, she couldn’t bear losing another one of her boys, the lose of their first and only son, her father and now him. the most important men in her life always dying off like this with her begging from them not to leave her. Them always calling out her name before she could save them.
She couldn’t lose him too, but perfect could keep this love alive his death was inevitable. wasn’t it. this was always the way he’d be taken from her. She couldn’t tell him how he couldn’t have lister her vetted that he was always the man she asked for. But in the end they were always ment to say goodbye.
Severus became cold to her touch. “Thank you.. Thank you for loving me, loving me better than anyone ever has.” he spoke, his breath horsed.
“I love you so, i love you so much Y/n.” He said his finally breath in play.
He could bear it, But in this moment was the best way he could’ve died, in her arms, her weight on him. With her his death could be peaceful. He wasn’t alone, she wouldn’t ever let him be alone. Not in their years of hogwarts, Not when his parents died, not when he first got his mark, not when he begun to close him self off, not now. He promised her no matter how long he’d have to wait, in every universe in every timeline he’d wait for her. Even if he died alone. Cause how could such a women be left by her self, how could he love another women as he did her?
Even in death he still looked so gorgeous, but god did looking at him make this harder. But she had to accept it she couldn’t save him, Not with out her taking her own life and even then who knew if it be sucssesful, She couldn’t leave her children orphans.
He was still holding on, she couldn’t imagine the pain he was in the sharp sting of venom in his body. “Fuck..” she cursed shaking her head.
“I know… I know it’s time for you to go.. it’s- It’s okay.” she cried softly, her permission letting him close his eyes.
Letting go gently she fell into his chest, his heart no longer beating. He was really gone. Covered in his blood she held on to him for a bit longer.
All severus as done was do was was told on him, he never did anything not asked of him. Dumbledore and Voldemort i’d be planing his death for years. For years the only light and care he’d experience was with his girls. Now he’s never see them again.
Even though he was.. well dead his brain wasn’t he could still feel her presents, hear her voice. surrounded by Darkness the last thing he heard was his eldest. Her blood curtailing scream, That was was last thing he had to remember hearing. His first daughter and his wife screaming his name, their cries together unbearable to his heart.
Just one last chance, that all he wanted, he couldn’t leave them.. he could put them through that pain. His heart ached.
“Severus…” His name was called out, Y/ns voice ringing trough his headspace.
“Severus, my love..”
He felt his eyes open, his body sitting up quickly his hand falling on to his chest quickly his hands touching his throat.
“Shhh, Shh it’s okay…” she hushed her hand falling or his chest and back, her body sitting up already.
His Eyes fell on her, her brows frowned, quickly he brought her into any embrace.. “Sev it’s okay.. It’s been over.. Your okay. You’re safe now you’re here with us.” she whispered her arms hugging him back.
“how long..”
“5 months..” she said.
He nodded him still holding her. Opening his eyes he notices the were in their private chambers at hogwarts. This bc had gone back to normal, he was at work again, he knew his two youngest were in their rooms sleeping soundly. His eldest away Exploring and studying in Russia.
Pulling back he looked as he in the eyes “Were safe, our girls are safe.” she reassured again.
“I know i just.. Thank you.”
“For what?”
“Everything.” he spoke simply kissing her lips.

"I'm leaving Lucky here with you" Kate, my older sister said as she entered the dining room, "I'll be gone for a least two days at the most. Will you be okay to handle things here?" she asked. A few, long months ago, our parents went on a business trip and are yet to return. Kate and I have been left to run the ranch and keep money flowing until they return, although we haven't heard from them, not even a single letter. My worries for them are endless. "Of course, I will be" I smiled before taking a mouthful of the porridge I made for us.
"Do you need anything from town before I go?" she asked while putting her bowl in the sink for me to wash later, "no, I think we have everything we need. Just be safe, please" I looked to her. "Always, rabbit" she smiled. Kate has always called me rabbit, ever since we were younger. It comes from when my adult teeth were still coming through, they reminded her of a rabbit's front teeth when they would nibble on their food. "I'm just going to go get Arrow saddled up then I'll be on my way" she added before walking out the back door.
I'm used to Kate leaving for a day or two, she goes off hunting for us while I tend to the ranch. We have 3 cows, 5 pigs and 6 sheep! All of which have names of their own, of course. I've been saving some money to buy a couple of chickens so we can have our own fresh eggs. My father said we'd get some but that was before he and mother left on their trip. Today seems like it will be an easy day, feed the animals then off to the general store for my shift.
"Alright, you know the rules" Kate spoke as she returned from saddling up Arrow, "father's rifle is in the case under your bed and please, don't let any of those wandering men stay too long! You can't trust everybody just because they say they've had a long day" she adds. "Yes, I know! You don't need to remind of that every single time, it was just once. Besides, Mr Lang has some very interesting stories to tell" I replied. I wish Mr Lang would return; his stories were almost unbelievable.
"I guess I don't need to remind you to get some more coffee and canned peaches after your shift then?" Kate rolled her eyes at me as she tucked a few canned goods into her saddle bag. "You just did" I replied, sarcastically. "Let's go Lucky! We don't want to be late" I patted my right thigh after placing my used bowl in the sink for laters problem. "Hey!" Kate stopped me just as I was leaving the kitchen, "be safe, okay? If you need anything Mr Barnes is only a call away" she reminds me, again!
We have a bell that Kate brought, it's rather large. I am to ring it if I'm in any trouble and Mr Barnes, the Salon owner, will come over and see what the matter is. Im not exactly sure how he's able to hear the ringing sound from so far away, we've done a couple of test runs and so far I haven't had the need to use it.
"Yeah yeah, how about you be safe? I can't do everything around here if you go missing too!" I smiled softly at my older sister, she knows I'm joking. If anything were to happen to her, she knows I'd be okay…I guess.
Lucky follows me around everywhere, especially when Kate goes off on her hunt. He'll come to the general store and wait outside by the door until I've finished my duties. Mr Wilson doesn't mind, he loves Lucky and even asked Aunt May to bake some of her famous cookies that everybody in town loves, she makes a little extra and dog friendly ones for Lucky. Everybody calls her Aunt May, not really sure why though, I think it's because she's such an aunt to everybody. Almost like a grandma that cooks everybody's favorite treats for the tea party.
The walk to town is always peaceful. In the warmer seasons, it can be rather hot but on days like today when the sun is just starting to peek over the mountains from afar, the wind isn't too cold and the birds sing their morning song, it's relaxing and maybe I tend to take smaller steps just to soak up the morning fresh air before I stay inside for most of it.
"Good morning young Y/n!" A rather tall and very muscular man smiles to me, it's Thor. Nobody actually knows why his name is Thor, considering it's a very unusual name but he's very lovely. "Good morning, Thor! Keeping well I see" I replied with a friendly smile as Lucky and I slowly make our way past the Salon. "Oh, you know me! Can't resist the great liquor that is served here" the most likely drunken man chuckles. It's barely 7am and he is drinking. I guess that's a hobby for most people around here.
Blisswater isn't a town for much entertainment, you have your basics. The Saloon ran and owned by Mr Barnes, the General store ran and owned by Mr Wilson, the doctors office with the only doctor within miles, Mr Banner. The gunsmith, Mr Barton owns and supplies Kate with discounts on arrows and sometimes ammunition for us. Mr Fury is the towns barber, my father wasn't a fan of him but when he was desperate for a cut, he had no choice but to see him. Then there's Sheriff Rogers, T'Challa the friendly banker, Peter the newspaper boy (by the way, he's love for me isn't exactly a secret!) and Mr Quill is the towns blacksmith.
So that's all there really is to know about who lives in and around Blisswater, it's a small town. A town where everybody knows everybody, and word travels faster than you can blink! We all look out for each other here and most don't take kindly to newcomers. Sometimes we have outlaw gangs come passing through, they spend the night at the Saloon, get drunk and make a mess of themselves before pushing on by the afternoon. The walk-through town the following morning is usually a sight of Mr Barnes boarding up the windows of the Saloon from their drunken fights.
The bell rings loudly as I open the door of the general store, and I'm greeted with Mr Wilson's warm and welcoming smile. "Good morning, Mr Wilson!" I smiled.
"Please, Y/n, call me Sam! I've known you long enough" he chuckles before reaching down behind the counter for the plate of Aunt May's famous cookies.
"I'm sorry, it's habit! I see Aunt May has come early this morning" I wandered up to the counter taking one delicious treat. "Lucky's biscuits are back here as well; did you bring him this morning?" Mr Wilson, I mean, Sam asked. "Of course! Kate is out today and left him all to me" I took a small bite out of the homemade goodness. "Parents off again?" he questioned, I nodded lightly. I miss them so much.
"Well, I've got the perfect job to keep your mind distracted. How about you watch the store today?"
"Alone? Me? Are you sure?" I asked with a mouth full of cookie.
"Yeah, I have a couple of things that need my urge attention. I wasn't going to open today but I think you're ready for this. What do you say? You can even bring Lucky inside if you want" Sam smiled proudly. I thought about it for a moment while I finished my morning treat, it can't be that hard, right?
"Sure! I can hold the fort as they say" I replied with a smile, wiping the crumbs from my lips with the back of my hand.
"I'll be back before closing, earlier I can. If you need anything, slip out the back door. I don't need to tell you this, I know" he chuckled, "Bucky will be around if you need anything" he assures me. I guess that's the handy thing about having your store next door to a saloon. "You're starting to sound like Kate!! I'll be fine, I have Lucky! What's the worst that could happen?" I raised a brow.
"Right" my boss smirked, "well you already know where the stock deliveries are, and you know your main duties. Just don't leave the store unattended" he reminds me, I playfully rolled my eyes at him as he stepped away from the counter. "Stop stressing, Sam, the store will be fine. Go do what it is that you need to do" I hoped the door, patting my thigh for Lucky to enter.
Mr Wilson left as Lucky made himself welcome in the store, I closed the door and treated Lucky to his own biscuit before starting to restock the shelves.
——
"Good afternoon, Y/n!" A familiar voice sings louder than the bell as the door fly’s open. "Peter! How are you?" I smiled softly as I was greeted with a smile of his own. "Oh you know how it is, busy busy!" He chuckles, "I ran into Mr Wilson earlier, he mentioned you were here alone today so I thought I'd come by and see if you, uh, needed anything" he adds. A hint of red fills his cheeks while his eyes struggle to stay connected to mine.
It's no secret that young Peter Parker has a crush on me, the entire town knows it. Although he is a very sweet young gentleman, I guess I've just never found myself interested in him in a romantic manner. In fact, I've never really thought about anybody in a romantic manner now to think of it…
"You're very sweet, Peter. Thank you but things are pretty good. I've had no troubles today and please, thank your Aunt May for the cookies and Lucky's treats!"
"Oh, you're welcome! You know Aunt May, always baking" Peter chuckles once more. I could sense a hint of nerves in his voice and the redness in his cheeks grew deeper. "Peter, is everything okay? Do you need a drink? Some water?" I asked with a concerned frown. "No, no. I'm more than fine, thank you. It's just, it's getting a bit wild out there and I thought I'd walk you home later when you're finished here. Don't want you getting sick or anything" he gives me another soft smile.
"It's meant to rain?" My frown only grew bigger as I looked out the window. Dark gray skys covered the town and beyond, distant flashes of lighting lit up the darkness for a moment. Wind blew the dry leafs onto the Main Street, horses stomped their hoofs with every crack of thunder that could be heard from the far, far distance.
"Well shoot!" I sighed.
"Did Mr Wilson tell you when he'd be back?" Peter asked.
"Sure hope it is soon, I have the animals I should move into the barn before the storm arrives"
"It doesn't seem like it is far off. Maybe I could watch the store for you? I wouldn't mind at all"
"You're very kind, Peter but I'm not sure if Mr Wilson would appreciate me leaving the store in somebody else's hands. I know you wouldn't ruin the place or steal from him but he is trusting me today and I don't want him to think otherwise" I explained as I watched the dark clouds darken, it'll be a big storm by the looks.
"I'd be more than happy to make sure your stock is in the barn then" he offered, I turned to him and kindly shook my head. "I'm sure Mr Wilson will be back soon. Thank you again Peter, you're very kind. If you don't mind, there's a few things I should really get done before Mr Wilson returns" I smiled softly, hoping not to have hurt the boy's feelings.
"I plan on having supper at the Saloon, if you need me, I'll be there" Peter smiles before leaving the store.
For the rest of the afternoon, I cleaned the store and did some stock take and made sure the store was exactly how Mr Wilson would like to have it when he returns and just my luck, he returns before the storm hammers down.
"Y/n, thank you for all your help today!" He walks into the store, placing his hat on the coat rack. He looked rather dirty; a nice bath would be in order for when he gets home if I didn't know better.
"You're welcome, Mr Wilson! I'm sorry to leave in a rush but I really need to be getting home before the rain starts" I grabbed my things, Lucky following closely behind me.
"Of course, you best be safe now"
I rushed out of the store, glad the rain hadn't started pouring down as yet but it was coming. You could smell it, the thunder got louder, the lighting got closer and the wind got stronger. The main street was quiet as people already began to make their way indoors until the storm pushed over.
"Come on, Lucky! We haven't got much time!" I patted my thigh lightly before Lucky and I began to race home.
——
The rain soaked the dry ground as expected and Lucky and I were able to get the animals into the barn before it came down heavy. I left a lantern in the barn just so I could keep an eye on it from the house, Kate hates when I do that, says it's a waste of resources but she'll thank me one day for it.
"How long do you think she'll be this time Lucky?" I looked towards him as we both rested by the fire. He tilts his head at me as if he truly understands what I am saying. We listen to the rain dance on the roof and wind whistle outside while the fire cracks and keeps us warm. It's nights like this that I wish Kate wouldn't go off hunting, it's most lonely at night. But I know we need the money, just until mother and father come home.
"Come Lucky, let's check the barn" I stood up from my mothers rocking chair, and wandered over to the window. A frown creeps upon my brows when I notice the lantern, I left behind earlier in the night was gone. I rushed to my room and grabbed the rifle under my bed, grabbed my father's thick coat, a lantern and headed for the backdoor with Lucky right beside me. It was only a short walk from the house to the barn, but the rain was quick to soak me in its gift to the ranchers. Slowly, I pushed the large wooden door open, my rifle tightly in my grip. Lucky entered first, sniffing the ground for anything that didn't belong while I slowly followed behind him, one foot after another.
Only a few steps in and I saw the lantern I had left behind, in the corner where Kate's horse would've been stabled. "Come out! I have a gun and I am not afraid to use it!" I called out, keeping my distance. Lucky walked quickly over to the empty stable slot, growling. "I said come out!" I repeated.
"Don't shoot" a thick Russian accent came from the corner of the barn, "I won't hurt you, just call off the dog, please" the unknown voice added.
"How can I trust you? You're a stranger in my barn! I have every right to shoot you"
"Trust me, if I were here to harm you, you'd already be dead"
I took a few small steps closer to them, Lucky stood his ground and continued to growl. I wasn't going to tell him to back off just yet. "What are you doing here? Do you always just welcome yourself into other people's properties like this?" I asked.
"You ask too many questions" the voice replied, "call the dog off, please" they asked once more.
"Lucky, back!" I called once I laid my eyes on the intruder. A young woman, maybe no older than me. Blonde hair that was braided and she certainly didn't seem to dress how most women dress. Beside her was her gun belt and holster, her hat placed freely beside them. The woman was covered in blood, her right hand pressed tightly against her left shoulder. "You're hurt" you spoke softly while keeping my rifle pointed at her.
She chewed her bottom lip and nodded, "I'll be gone by morning, I just need a place to stay for the night"
"How can I trust your word?" I asked. The woman smirked like I had just made a joke, an odd joke if my question was funny to her.
"I know better than to kill a rich small-town girl" she replies causing me to frown at her words.
"I am not rich girl. So, if you planned on robbing me later, you would find nothing, I can assure you of that"
She chuckled, "well, maybe not rich but you are well off than others. Besides, I have no interest in robbing homesteads"
"You know nothing about me" I snapped, pointing my rifle at her a little higher, aiming for her head. "Get off my property!" I demanded. Lucky growled once more, showing the unknown intruder his sharp canine teeth.
"Maybe we could come to a deal. It seems money is a touchy subject to you, yes?" The blonde hissed in pain when she moved her right hand even the slightest inch. I didn't reply, my eyes were drawn to the amount of blood her hand was covered in. "I'll pay you" she spoke, gaining my attention once more, "$5 a day. If you help me. I'll give you the first three days right now if I could move my hand but as you can see, if I do that, I will bleed out" she offers.
"Once I have recovered you will never see of me again, I give you my word" she adds. $5 a day would really help Kate and I and by the looks of her wound, she could be here for weeks. "I know you're thinking about it but I do not have time for you to think" her thick Russian accent brings me out of my thoughts, I nodded as I slowly lowered my rifle.
"We best get you to the house then"
----
"I'm sorry if that hurt" I spoke softly to the blonde as I bandaged her up, after pulling the bullet from her wound and cleaning the area with alcohol, she suggested cauterizing the wound with a lit candle. The smell of burning flesh is something I will never forget. "Don't stress, I've experienced worse" she looked to me with a soft smile.
"How did this happen anyway?" I asked as I started to clean up the mess. I offered the woman my room until she was back on her feet, and I hoped Kate wouldn't have noticed when she came home.
"Just a little miss understanding with an outlaw. I'm a bounty hunter" she informs me.
"A bounty hunter? That's a little strange for a woman to be doing"
"Well, sometimes women just do a job better"
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. It's not often I meet women who aren't following the rules of society" My eyes dropped, I knew my comment offended her.
"You should travel more; you'd be surprised on what or whom you might come across. What's your name?" She pulled the covers up over her, making herself comfortable on my bed.
"Tell me yours and I'll tell you mine" I looked to her once more. She chuckled, "I'm Yelena, Yelena Belova. Your turn" she replies. I walked towards the bedroom door, my hands full of rubbish from cleaning her wound, "I'm Y/n, Y/n Bishop. I'll get you some water"
"Bishop" Yelena repeated, "your father is Derek Bishop?" she questioned. I nodded slowly, "you know him?" I asked. Yelena shook her head, "no, just heard of him in passing. Water would be great, thank you" she watched as I walked out of the room. Her tone made me question if she was telling the truth; did she know my father? Maybe she knew where my parents were?
Lucky followed me to the kitchen, I grabbed two cups of water and returned to my bedroom, placing one glass on the wooden beside table next to my lantern. "You should get some rest; I'll make breakfast in the morning" I looked to Yelena who reached for her coat that sat at the end of the bed. "As promised, the first three days" she says before handing me $15 dollars in 1 ten-dollar bill and a 5 dollar bill.
"T-thank you" I smiled softly, "do you like coffee? I could make some in the morning" I asked.
"Never start the day without one" she smiled, "goodnight, Y/n" she added.
"Goodnight" I walked towards the door, "oh, I hope you don't mind" I turned to face the blonde stranger once more, "I'm going to lock the door, you know…for safety" I added nervously.
"I thought you would. I understand, I need to gain your trust" she nodded slightly.
"If you need anything, just call out. I won't be far"
"Thank you, again" Yelena smiled once more before I closed the door, making sure it was locked before making my way to Kate's room.

Isekai Yandere Strawhats Chapter 2
Previously| next
The days turned to weeks and weeks to months soon, that world was a thought of the past. Y/n had continued to her regular life going to school, hanging out with friends, and having her biggest worries being what time her assignments were due.
She didn’t throw away any of her old books or posters with those characters on them instead she put them in a box under her bed. Just so they were right beneath her feet if she ever wanted to return and fantasize about maybe a different time, maybe if things would’ve gone differently.
The seasons were beginning to change March would soon become April. It had only dawned on the girl today that a year had passed since she first started that journey. Sitting by the window as the birds chirped in glee, Y/n finally had some time to dive into her memory.
A year ago Y/n had just met the straw hat pirates. She appeared in their life so suddenly, and little did she know they would become so easily enamored. She laughed to herself in disbelief then rubbed her hand through her bangs, “ How could I be so stupid?” she said to herself.
Opening her curtains for the rays of the sun to wash over her reminded her of tanning with the girls on the Sunny, in the beginning, it was just so sweet, wasn’t it?
With a sigh, she got up from her bed and waltzed over to grab her remote from the desk turning on the TV hoping to drown out the memory of a certain someone. The shows were white noise as the face of Trafalgar Law was all she could focus on.
A call from her mother had made her jump and she quickly made her way out of her room. “ Yes, mother?” She said walking into the living room. Her mother smiled and handed her a letter. The envelope was black with no writing on it and the seal was yellow with a small bear on it.
Y/n bit her lip, not wanting to get too excited in front of her mother and for herself, who knows if this letter is from who she thinks it is?
She thanked her mother and quickly made her way back to her room shutting the door with her back. The pit of her stomach grew butterflies and nerves flared inside of her. She turned off her TV and sat on her bed using her thumb to unseal the envelope.
There were two letters inside marked with red and blue at the tips of the corner. Pulling the blue one out first she swiftly opened it and began reading.
Dear Y/n, I wonder what you’ve been doing all this time. I know you got back home safely, I can feel it in my bones. I debated on whether or not I should just go see you myself but I figured it was better to let you enjoy your time with your family for now.
I have been able to avoid clashing with BlackBeard thanks to you and I have been able to gather more research on this gateway between our worlds. I won’t go too in-depth in this letter but I can say that we have a lot to talk about once we meet again. After you left the strawhats also left me alone without a word or a fight. Within the next month, we will meet but it will take some effort on your part as well. Please read the next letter for additional information.
L.
Y/n felt ecstatic, finally after months of wondering what happened to Law there was an answer, directly from him at that. She tossed the note beside her pulled out the red-tipped letter and began reading.
There were instructions and illustrations explaining how to open a gateway directly onto the polar tang where they could travel with ease. It was a method without shifting that wouldn’t be so strenuous on both parts.
At the end of the letter, there was a small warning, “ It will take time, over a month on your end to make sure that the gate is stabilized so as soon as you read this you should get started.”
With a smile on her face, she followed both letters back into the envelope and began to follow the instructions. The instructions were relatively easy but there was a reason she needed time.
Step one, keep the mirror on your door as clean as can be that will be the gate. Step two, ensure any other mirrors are not facing the gate including your television.
Step three, keep your curtains open as the sun will help charge up the portal. The other steps were simple as well, don’t keep anything plugged in at night, and keep a diet consisting of greens.
Y/n had a new pep in her step and everyone around her noticed. Y/n had smiled more often and life at home seemed like a fantasy for her parents, they never had to ask her twice to complete chores or help out with anything around the house.
The first week of April swings by and exam season is brewing up, Y/n spent time studying with her friends in the library. " Y/n me and y/f/n are going to get drinks real quick."
The girl waved her friends off too focused on her current textbook. A minute passed before she was interrupted again by a text message. Her mother was telling her she needed to pick up something for dinner, she sighed and decided to take a break from studying and possibly find a book she could take home.
Out of interest Y/n took to the supernatural fantasy section. Wondering if she could find any books relating to portals and how they work.
At the top of the shelf there was a black hardcover with the words open your mind written in script on the spine. Reaching up she grabbed it, ‘ Open Your Mind written by N.R’. The book seemed to be brand new, the pages crisp and the cover silky smooth.
Returning to her seat Y/n began to read. Her friends soon returned and hours had passed as Y/n fell into the fantasy world of N.R. The book was about a women who had a found family and was able to discover the mysteries of her world. The chills ran down her spine when she realized how similar it had been to one piece.
Although there weren’t any pirates Y/n couldn’t shake the feeling of having heard a few similar stories within her favorite series. Bitting her lip she closed the book on the third chapter, not wanting to spoon herself while with her friends.
Y/n tucked a strand of her behind her ears and told her friends she would be off as it was getting late. Waiting for the bus questions popped into her head.
There is no way one of them could be here right?
Law made sure they didn’t have a way back right?
It’s been so long since she was filled with this much anxiety. The cool spring breeze wouldn’t cool her nerves and the palms of her hands filled with sweat.
The bus finally came and she stepped on seating herself in the single seats. Her head rested on the window and she silently watched the cars zoom by leaving colorful glares.
🏷️: ( new tag list, reply to be added to next update )
A/N: Welcome back to the drama!!! I’m so excited to begin this new journey again and I am so happy everyone enjoyed the first part. I don’t currently know how long I want this part to be but I will have a schedule in my Masterlist of when I will update.

I Thought-
Alpha Neteyam x Omega Reader
Summary: neteyam doesn’t always know how to express his feelings and cuts people out when he's angry even his little omega
Warning: modern day au, omegaverse au, almost reader death
Yn/3rd person pov
My body tensed on the couch, my hands clutching the woolen blanket tightly as I heard the slamming of the front door, my nose crinkling at the small of his anger.
"For fuck sake" he yelled throwing his belongings onto the floor making clashes and clungs of his fallen items.
I sunk back into the plushy cushions as my eyes meet his angered ones "h-hi neteyam" I whispered loud enough for him to hear me he only growled in response before stomping his way to our bedroom and slammed the door again.
My ears flattened against my head as I heard him yell out his frustrations but an idea popped into my head and I got right to work, jumping up from my spot and racing into the kitchen and getting all the ingredients I needed.
I grabbed my apron and tied it tightly around my waist and washed my hands before getting to work chopping, preparing and cooking I was making his favorite dish his mom gave me the recipe for and once all of that was slowly cooking I got to work on the dessert.
I tempered and iced the chocolate cake and once that was done I wiped my forehead admiring all my work and I did the final step which was setting the table with some freshly cut flowers.
I quickly cleaned myself up before making my way to our bedroom and softly knocked on the door "what" he muttered from inside the room "I-I made dinner for you" I murmured opening the door my eyes drifting to the door where he lay just staring up at the ceiling.
"I'm not hungry" he said his eyes only finding my for a second before returning to the ceiling "but I made you favorite and while we're eating we can talk-" he interrupted me by giving me a glare "I am not hungry omega" he yelled out.
My lip quivered he never called me omega he said it was to demeaning and hurtful I nodded quietly and closed the door again and made my way into the dining and ate by myself.
I couldn't eat much though my omega was stressing over him I couldn't even look at the cake the thought of it just made me nauseous, I quickly finished my food and wrapped the rest up and left it in the fridge for him to eat and I left the cake on the counter covered so no ants could get to it.
I walked to the bedroom and stood by the door at least for 30 seconds debating if I wanted to sleep in there or not my mood only worsened with each passing second was it me who caused him to be like this was he angry at me.
I shook my head trying to block out the negative thoughts as I made my way to the guest room slumping down onto the bed but I just couldn't fall asleep my omega was crying for attention but I knew I wouldn't be getting any anytime soon.
I twisted and turned but couldn't fall asleep no matter how hard I tried my eyes were starting to become sore and my muscles started to arch I just slowly got up and made my way into the guest bathroom and filled up the tube.
"Maybe this is help" I slowly pulled off my clothes before hissing as I settled into the steaming hot water the water slowly relaxing my muscles, I tried relaxing more by closing my eyes but I couldn't get him out my mind.
I looked to the side where I saw a bottle of medication I quickly leaned over curiously and grabbed it and read the name it was addressed to my mother 'she must have left it here by accident'.
I looked at the label and it was sleeping pills I thought for a minute before uncapping the bottle and taking to out "maybe the will help" I murmured and put the rest of the bottle back onto the counter before swallowing the pills.
I sat around waiting for them to start working just getting a little more comfortable in the bath, my eye lids slowly started becoming more heavier and my breath more slower as the pills started to take effect.
My body slowly started to sink into the water but I was to tired to do anything and my mind was to distracted to the hear the slight padding of footsteps drawing nearer.
Neteyam couldn't sleep either he could never sleep without you so here he was looking into the guest bedroom where he thought you were and when you weren't there his eye brows frowned.
He looked back down the hallway his eyes only softening once he saw the sliver of light coming from the bathroom he walked over and softly knocked like you did before "baby" he called.
But he was only met with silence "yn im really sorry" but when he didn't get an answer this time an unsettling feeling started to fill his heart "baby if you don't answer I'm coming in" he threatened worryingly knocking a bit louder.
He quickly opened the door when he didn't get a response his eyes widening and his heart breaking as he runs and scoops her out of the water "baby" he screamed laying her onto the ground and started listening for her heartbeat.
He sighed in relief ae he heard it but quickly started cpr as it was fading "fuck" he cried as tears started welling up in his eyes "he quickly got his phone and dialed 911 "911 what's your emergency" the lady spoke.
"Hi my girlfriend was found in the bath she's not breathing and she has a heartbeat but it's fading" he rushed breathing heavily as he continued cpr "ok hold on I'm sending someone now" she tried calming neteyam down but he was to frantic.
He quickly wrapped you in a towl and picked you up as he heard the nearing sirens and rushed outside "please help her" he screamed the medics quickly rushed you inside and neteyam followed and held your hand tightly as they rushed to the hospital "please be ok".
-Time skip-
Lo'aks nose crinkled as he entered the room "dude you need to shower" he chuckled but shut up as neteyam glared at him "I am not going anywhere" he growled repeating the same words that he said to everyone else.
He never left your side once he just sat there clutching your hand tightly waiting for you to wake up "so did the doctor say anything" lo'ak asked as he stood at the foot of your bed.
Neteyam sighed heavily "he said whatever she took knocked her out and her omega is the reason she's still asleep" he said tiredly "what does he mean by that" "it means I fucked up ok" neteyam snapped.
Neteyam started to cry again "I fucked up I shut her out and I think her omega may have taken it to seriously and now she's like this because of me" lo'ak watched his eyes filled with sorrow for his brother.
"She almost died because of me" he sniffled staring at your face praying to see your eyes open "I'm the reason she's here" he whispered and softly kissed your hand.
"I love you omega please forgive me"

LIFE'S HARD WHEN YOU'RE INLOVE ─
─ WITH RIN ITOSHI !!
IMRAESNOTE: I meant to make reo say "sei" not himself LMAO
Rubbing your eyes to adjust it to your phone screen, you squint a bit to make out what you're viewing on your insta feed.
"Football.. Late.." You mumbled. You should really put on your glasses..
Rising up from your bed, trying to shake off the feelings of sleepiness that rest on your body. Yet, with all those efforts, your body just plops back on the bed. On the bright side, you stretched far enough to grab your glasses.
Then a thought came in your mind. "Reo and Sei are out right now.." You mumbled.
The feeling of hunger started to take over the previous one. Sleepiness long forgotten and now the number one thing in mind you want right now is food.
Maybe texting your roommates to bless you with the necessity that is needed, probably will help you right now.
Reo Mikage, will always be your top enemy. Joking! Of course.
Nagi Seishiro on the other hand, will always be your number 1 best friend more like a sibling duo, your older brother. One common fact when you're in school is that others may mistake you both as couples. It sickens you to your core.
Reo is more like your mother than anything. He takes care of you like how a family would AND threatens to kick you out if you don't do anything. He always apologizes after you do something in the apartment.. like clean up after dinner? It's nothing too big to be honestly.. but you know he just really wants you to get up and do something for a living, but..
.
.
Ehh,, thoughts ended. You fell asleep.
REO sighed at the sight of his phone. Seishiro, who's right beside the boy switched the messaging app to whatever game he was playing previously.
The duo were both sitting on the field as the other players were practicing. Reo was about to spark up a conversation with his friend when his eye made out a certain boy running up towards them.
"Chigiri?" Reo asked himself. The confusion is because Hyoma, himself, had told the team that he wouldn't be present at practice for today.. Yet here he is.
The said male was now in front of the friends with something in his hand.
"Can you give this to Y/N? It's extra dinner and the field is closer so.." He asked your roommates. Both Reo and Seishiro shared a glance as they looked back at the boy.
"Okay.. You better escape right now though, Rin is on the field." Reo slightly joked, standing up to take the food as his eyes shifted towards the field for a bit, then back at the pink-haired male.
He just smiled as he made his escape, leaving the boys alone and now, with food.
"Bold of him to appear out of the blue." Seishiro started. Reo just shrugged his shoulders.
"It's not the first time he brought her gifts but I would've never thought he would go out his way like this." Reo thought out loud.
"Who went out they're way?" A voice asked.
Reo turned around and was greeted by Meguru!
"Nevermind that, it's our turn on the field Sei!" Reo stated, dragging the boy from his game and onto the field.
"Hey there's food." Meguru mumbled. He was about to grab onto it until a hand pulled him back.
"Don't eat their food.." Yoichi stopped his friend.
Your (second) mini nap was short but sweet. You woke up after a few minutes and decided to scroll a bit on social media, the "reading" you planned to do was now long forgotten.
You then began to wonder..
"How long will the food take.." You mumbled as a small grumble was heard from your tummy. You sighed, your phone long forgotten and your ceiling was in view..
"What can I do?" You asked yourself, the need to entertain yourself washed over you but thinking too hard wasn't your favorite activity.
Maybe you should read after all..
You left your phone on your bed as you began to search for that one book you read.
Maybe we should see what's on your screen..?
FOOD!! Too bad you're too busy reading to notice the message..
What ARE you reading anyways? It's a romance book gifted to you from the one and only Hyoma Chigiri!! The romance wasn't something you would normally read but Hyoma begged for you to read it and after that, you oddly got hooked on the book.
Romance is too much of a hassle anyways, "Too much work" is what you will say.
HYOMA CHIGIRI (16) :
He's your first childhood friend from your original hometown and sadly had to part ways. Rekindled the relationship in late middle school when he was the "new transfer student". Ever since you both have been VERY close. Close enough to be questioned as a couple but it doesn't really the both of you, unless someone personally ask you, then you will reply with a negative response.
2 the first few chapters are a bit boring n short but it gets better soon heheherh

TS&TS - chapter 1
Pairing: Percy Jackson x black!fem!reader
Synopsis: true fulfillment comes from finding a partner who complements and understands you, offering a safe haven to be your true self, regardless of external pressures or backgrounds.
Warnings: none, Y/N is daughter of Apollo, Y/N is the younger half-sister of Clarisse La Rue, sisterly love
Every day was the same for you. You’d wake up, get ready for the day, eat breakfast with your cabin, spar with your older sister, have archery practice with Chiron, get praised by your peers, sneak away to get some alone time, participate in capture the flag, have dinner, sit at the bonfire with your cabin, and then get ready for bed.
Here you are currently, getting ready for the day. Brushing your teeth, washing your face, doing your hair, the usual. You grabbed your bow, wooden bow with Apollo’s symbol engraved in it in gold. It was a gift from him. Many people at camp considered you lucky, to be given a gift from your godly parent was a great honor.
Though you didn’t care for it, you would rather have had his time than this gift. Other than the fact Apollo had it made for you specifically, the bow wasn’t anything special. If anything you hated this bow. You’ve tried burning it, that didn’t work. You’ve tried just getting rid of it on a quest, that also didn’t work since it came back to you a few hours later.
Clarisse tells you all the time that you should feel honored that Apollo had graced you with such a gift, even more honored that he went out of his way to bring you to camp yourself. You didn’t feel honored though, if anything you felt hollow. You and Apollo hadn’t spoken since the day he’d brought you to camp, he didn’t seem sad over the fact your mother had died that day either.
But why would he? Apollo was used to all his romantic relationships not working out, some of them even dying. So what makes your mother any different? That day, he was just making sure his precious little prodigy made it to camp safely. Couldn’t have you dying before you were able to spread your wings…no, can’t have that.
You sighed softly, softening your grip on your bow which you didn’t even know had tightened. Though it wasn’t surprising, thinking about your father always left a bad taste on your tongue. “Wow, you must really hate that bow.” Your half sister, Valerie said with a smirk, her arms crossed as she leaned on your bunk bed. “Is it obvious?” You asked sarcastically with a soft scoff.
Valerie was someone you found yourself being able to confide in if you needed to rant about your father. Clarisse wouldn’t ever be able to understand, she couldn’t. After all, she lived and breathed for Ares’ approval. Just a second of his attention would make her day. She would tell you about how some kids would kill to be in your position, they’d kill to be claimed at all.
She wished Ares had as many expectations for her as Apollo does for you. “You know you can’t escape this, right?” Valerie said as she walked over to you, putting a hand on your shoulder. “I mean, after all, it’s your destiny to become one of Apollo’s strongest children to have ever lived. Isn’t that what he said the Fates have bestowed upon you?” She asked.
“Yea.” You said. “Doesn’t mean I like it though, I mean, what’s so special about me? I’d rather not be claimed than have to be held on this high pedestal.” You tell her. She hummed. “Well, sometimes life deals the worst cards to its strongest soldiers because life knows we can handle it.” She said. “Sure. Let’s just head to breakfast.” I said, shrugging her hand off your shoulder as you left the cabin.
You made it to the dining pavilion and got in line, some nymphs served us our breakfast and we went to sit down at the Apollo table. You noticed some of your siblings’ faces drop when you showed up to the table, but you were used to it. You didn’t have many friends around campus, not because you were shy, but because you didn’t want to potentially leave any of them behind.
That was your destiny, become one of the greatest children of Apollo who ever lived, and then die in glorifying battle. You would die sacrificing yourself so another person could live and you wouldn’t be able to escape it. This part of your prophecy is not something you’ve told Valerie. No one knows this but you, Apollo, and the three Fates. And since no one knows this, many people either assume you’re stuck up and think you’re better than everybody or you’re just shy.
Apparently, your siblings, other than Valerie, see you as stuck up. If there was one thing you hate about Camp Half-Blood, it’s that you have to eat at your assigned tables during breakfast and dinner. If you didn’t, you’d probably be sitting by yourself or with your sister, Clarisse. Maybe even with Luke and Annabeth, they’re nice to you.
You feel like Annabeth and Luke can understand where you’re coming from. Luke’s the best fighter at camp, and Annabeth is Athena’s pride. They’re both held to high regards, destined for great things. You finished my breakfast quickly and discarded your plate. Since you didn’t have to make offerings to the gods until dinner, you just went to the shooting range.
You’d stay there for hours just working on your bow skills, even though you never missed your target. Your bow gripped tightly in your hand and you picked up some arrows that were lying on the ground. Shooting helps you clear your mind. If you felt like you were too stuck in your head and worried about your future, you’d just stay here for hours. And that’s exactly what you did today, stayed for hours.
“So, you’re just going to stay here all day and not come see me at all?” You knew that voice all too well. Clarisse walked up to you, her arms crossed over her chest and her dark brown curls blowing in the wind.
“Sorry, I was just thinking.” You tell her, lowering your bow as you turn to face her. She hummed, looking at the targets that were now covered in multiple arrows (some arrows even having arrows inside of them).
She walked over to the targets, touching the wooden arrows that stuck inside of them. “Definitely the work of a prodigy of Apollo, that’s for sure.” She said, her fingers grazing the arrows. You winced slightly at the word ‘prodigy’. She turned to look at you.
“Why do you hate being his pride so much? That means he’s proud of you and your progress so far. You should be happy for than anything.” She told you. You just shrugged at her words, you knew where this conversation was going. You hated every conversation you two had on this topic.
“I just…I want to feel like a normal kid, y’know? All this ‘being destined for great things’ isn’t who I am.” You tell her, looking down at the bow in your hands. It felt oddly warm, every time you looked at it, it started to feel warm.
“This may not be what you want, but it is who you are.” She tells you, standing in front of you. Her body was blocking the sun from your view. “You were born with talents many demigods could only dream of having, what I dream of having.” She tells you. And here she goes, starting her famous rant about how you should be grateful for the life that was bestowed upon you.
“You were blessed by your father since birth, he and the Fates saw your future. You would become a hero, one of the greatest children of Apollo to have ever lived.” She tells you. “You know how many kids here wish they could just be claimed? You don’t. You won’t understand, because Apollo brought you here himself.” She continued.
“Your powers are stronger than the rest of your siblings. While some can only shoot a bow or heal, you can do almost as much as Apollo can. Sure your powers are still far weaker than his, but you’re not just some average kid of the sun god either.” She tells you, she then put a hand on your shoulder.
“You don’t understand how much I wish Ares would give me that kind of attention.” She says to you. “I’ve been training every day, since I first got here, to be the ideal daughter of Ares and earn just a smidge of his approval.” And this is what you hate about this conversation. You hate the fact that she’s right, she always is.
You don’t have to work hard to earn Apollo’s approval, you know he’s watching you and that he’s proud of your accomplishments. You don’t have to wonder what his face looks like, you’ve seen it up close. You don’t have to wonder what his voice sounds like, you’ve held a conversation with him before. And even though you know she’s right, there’s just something inside of you that stops you from accepting any praise or recognition from Apollo.
You nodded. “You’re right.” You tell her, just like you’ve told her every other time you’ve had this talk. She pulls you into a hug, something she’d never do if there was anybody else around. Not because she’s embarrassed, but because she doesn’t want to be seen as ‘soft’ or ‘weak’.
“I just want you to understand and appreciate how lucky you are compared to the rest of us. I’m glad you don’t have to go through what I do.” She whispered to you. You hugged her back tightly, your fingers gently gripping her orange shirt. She pulled away a few moments later and you let her go.
“I know you’re going to do great things one day, even if you don’t think so.” She tells you. This is what you liked about Clarisse. No matter how many people at camp feared her or how rude she was to everybody else, she loved you. Her baby sister, the one person she knew she could feel loved and appreciated by no matter what. And it’s true, because no matter what Clarisse did, she would never be viewed as a bad person or a villain in your eyes.
“Thanks, Clarisse.” You told her, a small smile on your face. “Anytime, Y/N.” Just as she was about to leave, she turned around once more. “Oh, and be at sword training tomorrow. You won’t be able to use that special little bow of yours in every fight.” She says with a teasing smirk, one you’d grown accustomed to over the years.
“Doubt that, but I’ll be there tomorrow!” You tell her as she turned to leave once more. You sighed once she was gone, and turned and looked at the targets you were previously shooting at. “I’ve been shooting for hours now, maybe I should take a break.” You said to yourself quietly, walking over to the targets and taking the arrows out of them.
It was dinner time, you sat at end of the table with Valerie. “I heard that we got a new camper earlier today, apparently he killed the Minotaur.” She whispered to you. “Really?” You whispered back. “Are you sure he killed the Minotaur, I mean, it’s a little hard to believe since he must’ve not found out he was a demigod until maybe yesterday, right?” You asked her. She shrugged and continued to eat her food.
“You never know, maybe he had an adrenaline rush. That tends to make people be able to do a lot of crazy things they aren’t usually able to.” She said. “Well, how come I haven’t seen him around?” You asked her. “He was with Luke the whole day, and you left the shooting range after being there all day just when they were arriving.” She said to you. “Right…”
You both finished your portion of food and went to pour the rest in the fire as an offered to Apollo. “I saw him today, I mean we didn’t talk, but I got a good image of what he looks like.” Valerie said, scooping her food into the fire. “Yeah?” “Yeah, he’s only a bit shorter than you, and he’s got blonde hair and blue eyes.” She informed you. “He looks a bit scrawny as well. And he also sucks at almost everything here, you should’ve seen him when he tried to shoot an arrow. He almost took everyone’s head off their shoulders!” She exclaimed.
You chuckled at her words. “So the new boy sucks at almost everything? I wonder who his godly parent must be.” Valerie hummed. “I wonder if he’ll even get claimed…a lot of kids are growing up at the Hermes cabin without ever knowing their godly parent, I feel bad for them.” She said softly, voicing her concerns.” You nodded. “Yeah, I wish everyone could know who their parent is, it isn’t fair to them.” You said in agreement.
“Hey, look, he’s over there.” Your sister said, pointing over at him. When you looked over at him, you could see that he was already looking in your direction. For the split second that your eyes met, it was like you could sense something within him. It was like there was a strong surge of power inside of him that needed to be unlocked, you could sense that there was something special about him. Then he looked away.
It wouldn’t hurt to get to know him, right?

We all saw the amount of drool Feyd was dripping in the movie, right? So this shouldn't come as a surprise 😆. Also, don't ask why he's obsessed with sniffing things. I really just get that vibe from him lol anyways here's our first taste if you will of the adult content, so please 18+ only.
Warnings: Rough handling, possessive behavior, and female orgasm.

Chapter 3
The wedding ceremony was now a short seven days away. Knowing that there was so little time before she left her old life behind to become Na Baroness Harkonnen, meant she spent her days with loved ones. Her father had even taken to visiting her in her chambers before retiring for the evening. He would of course excuse his visit by saying he needed her counsel for some menial matter. He would sit beside her on her lounge chair and hold her hand. She knew he would miss her, when she was gone, but it would not be forever. With any luck House Atreides and Harkonnen could use this marriage to really put the past behind them. A new beginning for an alliance between them.
Today marked the first day of the wedding celebrations. An array of fun games and other attractions were set up outside of castle Caladan and even a feast was being held this night for any Caladan native to come to wish the bride and groom well in their union, they would present little trinkets and tokens of their affection for the most beloved Atreides heir. Which of course meant Feyd and I would be expected to be in close proximity for the duration of the feast, and together playing said games and seeing the attractions.
It was nearly noon now so I should grace the Na Baron by showing my face for the first time today. I had taken my morning meal alone in the comfort of my chamber. A rarity these days since I’ve been busy ‘courting’. The Na Barons cold demeanor towards me actually soothed my mother for reasons she wouldn’t disclose. I washed and dressed for the momentous occasion, since this would be a long day with no reprieve between the carnival and feast. I had to look stunning in my first and only gown for the day.
As I rapped on Feyd Rautha’s chamber door, I was startled when it was pulled open abruptly before I finished knocking. He stood in front of me with a wild look in his usually inexpressive eyes.
“I could smell you approaching, my lady.”
He raises his left hand and strokes my cheek. The most contact we’ve had since the training incident weeks ago now.
I gulped.
“And how pretty you smell today indeed.”
He was so close to me, all I could do as of late was freeze in front of him. Like prey for the taking I would become almost immobile before his very eyes. Noticing my shocked still frame he took the opportunity to pull me into his chamber slamming the door by pushing me against it. The door slam jostles me out of my stupor and I take a deep clarifying breath looking up at him with my wide brown orbs.
“What are you doing?” I ask hesitantly, very confused at his odd behavior.
He doesn’t bother answering me as he pushes his form against me. The door knob wedges into my lower back and I adjust, unintentionally pushing against him in the process.
“I’ve been here too long, my lady without tending to my...appetite.”
As always the phrase ‘my lady’ drips with pure ownership of the title, ownership of me.
“Your appetite for human flesh I presume?” Lifting my chin trying to hide my revulsion.
He chuckles dryly. Stroking my cheek tenderly.
“I don’t have an appetite for human flesh, but my darlings do.”
“Your darlings?”
“My concubines.”
He looks me in the eye no longer stroking me but now holding me in a vice-like grip just under my jaw. He searches my eyes for something. Whatever it is he finds it, because he smiles now.
“I wasn’t aware you had..concubines.”
It makes me feel uneasy. Of course I knew he had had many women in his bed, but his own concubines made my skin crawl. I felt envious of them, hearing him call them his darlings.
“Don’t pout my lady..your lips look far too tempting.”
His iron grip moved down to my throat and I felt his fingers twitch and flex with excitement.
“I did no such thing. Why would I pout? I don’t care about your darlings.”
The last word comes out in a sneer, and the excitement is promoted to glee. He’s enjoying this. And somehow so was I. He had been hiding himself away from me and now seeing him look at me that way again- my heart skips a beat and then two.
I place my left hand on his chest and I feel something there beneath his tunic, beneath his skin. Something akin to a siren's song. A dangerous temptation to feel more of him. A dark urge to be skin to skin rips through me and suddenly I’m transported back to the day he tasted my blood on his pink tongue. The hunger in his eyes was desire f-for me in much the same way I'm seeing now.
I continue up his chest until my hand cups his neck, much more gently than the way he holds mine. I feel him shudder beneath my perusal and I move my hand to the back of his neck as leverage to pull his black mouth closer to mine. He doesn’t resist until the last second, tensing his muscles preventing me from pulling him further.
We lock eyes, both pairs searching for an unanswered question that hung between us like a deep secret never to be spoken aloud by either of us.
“Please.” I whisper, feeling my lips brush against his as I speak. I move to my tiptoes trying to close the distance but he sharply shoves me against the door before wrapping his arms around me claiming my body before claiming my mouth.
His kiss is not gentle, or kind. It is not patient or sweet. It is rough and biting. It is possessive and sloppy. There is so much wetness between us, his tongue swipes it away before diving into my mouth. My first kiss isn’t quite what I imagined it would be. I thought it would be sweet and slow, coaxing even with the promise of more. Feyd Rautha, however, kissed me like I was an enemy being conquered on the battlefield. There was not an ounce of softness between us. Even being victim to his rough handling I felt my insides quiver. A moan slips past my lips into his own. He claims it for himself, swallowing it down never to be heard by another set of ears. He pulls away then, a string of saliva connecting us now as we catch our breath.
“Lead the way my lady.”
And with that his touch is gone from my frame nearly causing me to crash down onto the rug beneath our feet. My lack of him left me bereft and struggling to catch my breath even more than the kiss. I gather my composure relatively quickly and smooth the front of my gown before looking up at him.
He has a smile hidden behind his dark blue eyes. They aren’t the same cold detached ones I’d grown used to and that made me smile at him as I opened the door peeking out first to make sure no one would see me leaving from inside his chamber.
As we walked around the carnival I noticed many of Caladans residents looking at us in uncertainty and bewilderment. It was almost as if they knew what we had been up to minutes ago alone together. Self consciousness prickled at my nerves mercilessly. I glance at Feyd who walks beside me with a smug look of satisfaction on his face. My hands resting on his bicep unconsciously squeeze him lightly, just enjoying the raw power beneath my finger tips. My mother spotted us and she looked stricken for a brief moment before schooling her expression and approaching us.
My mother pulled out a handkerchief and handed it to me whispering in my ear.
“Wipe your mouth Calista. It seems some of the Na Barons paint didn’t have time to cure before...” She waved her hand at my lips to explain.
I quickly snatched the cloth and wiped my mouth embarrassment, seizing me. No wonder the bastard looked so smug. It was literally written on my face what we had been up to. My cheeks felt like they were on fire as I try to separate myself from him. I don’t get very far before his unyielding grip imprisons my wrist. I glance up at him, eyebrows raised before glancing down to his large hand.
“I was just going to excuse myself for a moment to get cleaned up.”
I find myself explaining my actions to him.
“There’s no need, my lady.”
“I beg your pardon?”
“Don’t try to wipe me away, besides everyone here knows who you belong to well enough.”
My mother locks her eyes on his punishing grip before clenching her jaw. Sensing the tension I attempt to placate them both.
“I suppose that’s true. Would you spare me a moment to speak with my mother Na Baron?”
I hold my breath praying my attempt would work. His grip loosens shortly after my request and he steps away from us. Mumbling something about looking for wine. My heartbeat flutters faster than a hummingbird's wings.
Once my mother sees that he has left us alone for a moment, however brief it may be she tries to calm me down.
“Breathe my girl. Just breathe.”
“He’s very possessive. It’s such a sudden change to how he’s been behaving.”
“You should know, your father spoke to him after the training incident. He asked him to be mindful that you are a lady of Caladan.”
“What does that mean?”
“It means you are not familiar with the overindulgence of carnal desires like he is.”
“Oh god, is that why he started avoiding me?”
My mother nods her head once.
“There was a heated exchange between him and Duncan after what happened and they had to be separated.”
I was an oblivious fool. I remembered the biting tone he used towards Duncan after he helped me up and checked on me, but I didn’t realize.
“Don’t fret about it now, everything is fine, enjoy the celebration. He’s approaching so I will take my leave.”
She walks away just as Feyd Rautha reaches my side with a goblet of wine in each hand.
“Thank you”
I sip the drink gingerly feeling awkward knowing this new information. I try to act natural, but I wasn’t sure what this new natural was. We had just been entangled in his chambers and now his possessiveness was showing itself. Which apparently isn’t new, but my father talked him down before, what could be done now? I was to be his wife in seven days. What would stop him then? Did I want him to stop? I enjoyed this side much more than his cold distant self that had been my companion these last few weeks. My only concern was what he said to Duncan Idaho, my brother in all ways but blood.
“Just spit it out Little Duchess.”
I startle from my deep thoughts. He was using my nickname coined by Gurney, and from his lips it made me throb somewhere deep within. Was I really so easy to read? I clear my throat gathering the courage to be blunt in my questioning.
“What happened with you and Duncan after I left that day?”
His face sours at the mention of Idaho's name leaving my lips.
“Why do you ask?” He probes.
“My mother just informed me there was some sort of disagreement between you two.”
He doesn’t speak for a long time. We stand in the middle of a crowded area and yet I know that if he wanted to hurt me right here and now, no one but me could stop him. There was such a fine line between attraction and aversion between him and I. Perhaps it’s a natural give and take considering our families' long standing rivalry.
“If you insist. I simply made him a promise I intend to keep.”
He encroached on my personal space immediately seizing my small face in his large hands. Looking beyond my skin. His gaze pierced the very blood beneath its surface.
“What was the promise?” I press further.
“Give me your ear, and I’ll tell you, my lady.”
I tentatively move my ear closer to his inky mouth, hesitant, but eager to know what transpired between him and Duncan. He’s cupping the back of my head when he softly utters his promise to me.
“If you ever touch her again in my presence it’ll be the last thing you ever do. Or something to that effect.” He states coyly.
He casually strokes the soft strands of my hair, watching my face again to see my reaction up close.
“You needn’t be so worried about him. He is like a brother to me, Feyd Rautha.”
He only smiles at me threateningly. Releasing his hold on my head before we continue on to the next attraction.
Later that same night I lay awake in my bed. Sleep evades me, and I can’t help but comb through every interaction I had with Feyd today. I could still feel his bruising touch on my lips, and my wrist. My white nightgown feels heavy all of a sudden when in reality it was quite thin. There was an ache between my legs that felt even more painful than Feyd Rauthas brutal touch. I do my best to ignore it before I find myself sneaking away from my chambers somewhat compelled to find what I lack and somehow knowing only he could provide it to me. I don’t bother knocking on his door as I let myself in. Surprisingly he was asleep beneath his sheets only his bottom half was covered. He made the large four poster bed look mediocre despite its grand size. The rest of him lay bare before me to see. He was all lean muscle and cream colored skin. He nearly blended seamlessly with the crisp white linen. I subconsciously move closer to him. As if possessed, my hand reaches towards his sleeping face. He looks so peaceful I can’t help myself.
Before I can feel the touch of his alabaster skin, my wrist is snatched into a crippling hold. I whimper attempting to pull away from him. Realizing it was me he relaxes his crushing grip ever so slightly. Without speaking he pulls me onto his lap as he sits propped against the headboard. I straddle his lap a tad awkwardly.
“Now why would you be sneaking into my room at this time of night Little Duchess?”
He asks the question as if he already knows the answer. Smirking as he waits for me to verbalize why I'm here. This was purely for the sake of further embarrassing me.
“I couldn’t sleep...I don’t know why I came here.”
I move to get off of his lap, but he grips my hips, holding me in place.
“You’re no coward, Calista. Tell me why you're here.” He barks at me with a voice so rough he could have swallowed glass.
“I don’t know what to say.” I whine out, much to my mortification.
He watches me steadily, making no attempts to speak or release me. I could only blame myself for this predicament so I might as well tell him the truth.
“I- I’m aching for you. I couldn’t sleep.”
“Aching for me?” He inquired before continuing “Show me where.” He demanded sternly.
Like a wolf circling its kill he licks his lips lasciviously in preparation for what was to follow. I reach my hand beneath my gown as he watches me without blinking. He refuses to miss even a second of this show. I cup my sex slowly, unsure of myself.
He moves my hand aside, replacing it with his own. His calloused fingers gently travel between my velvety folds. He presses into my nub and a jolt of pleasure makes me hiss. I lean my head back from the delicious feeling invading my core. His free hand grips my chin moving my eyes back to his. He presses against my bud once more before he circles it continuously watching me so intently he must be waiting for something to happen. I lean forward against him, changing the angle slightly so that my lips can reach his. Unlike earlier he doesn't resist as I kiss him gently. He let me kiss him this time not forcing such aggression upon my delicate lips like he did then.
I take my time enjoying the softness of his lips with my eyes closed before I falteringly glide my tongue over his full lower lip. His lips make room for me to taste him deeper still and I do. I slowly and assuredly lick the inside of his inky mouth. He continues circling my nub before sliding one slow finger into me up to the knuckle. I moan into his mouth for the second time today and once again he swallows it whole.
Of their own accord my hips begin to match the pace his finger sets inside of me. I never stop kissing him as he adds a second finger. My core holds the fingers in a vice-like grip and he groans against me.He suddenly removes his digits and flips us over so that i’m now beneath him. He pulls my gown up to my hips fully exposing my thatch of soft dark hair. Leaning down he buries his nose in my hair and breathes deeply. For a moment I'm stunned with my eyes two sizes too big.
“Ah, there it is.”
“What?” I ask, a bit alarmed by his vague statement.
“I found the source of that smell. Makes my mouth water.”
His drool lands on my sensitive folds and I gasp.
He plunges in without abandon, swirling and twirling his tongue anywhere it would fit before harshly sucking on my clit. It takes all my willpower not to cry out. Being found with his face between my legs would not be ideal. More noises bubble up from within me and I can’t contain them all causing me to bite into my fist harshly. I reach an unexpected peak so soon after he starts and I feel my empty core clenching around nothing as my vision whites out. He continues to lick and suck as I come down from my high with shuddering breaths. He bites my inner thigh before pulling away and moving up towards the head of the bed. There was a large bulge between his legs and I couldn’t take my eyes away.
“I won’t fuck you tonight my pet, or else I might break you.”

Christmas Confession | B.Z.
Summary: Blaise's mother passes away a few months before Christmas. He goes missing around the holidays and ends up at your door.
"Have you heard from Blaise? The last thing I heard was he took his siblings to have a proper Christmas with their grandparents at the beginning of the month. Now he is just gone," Pansy complained in your livingroom on Christmas night. Her high heel covered feet were crossed at the ankles. Her heel leaving an annoying tapping sound against your wooden table. She was slouched on the couch and didn't appear to be leaving any time soon. She took another sip of her spiked eggnog in annoyance. The lady was never one to not be in other people's business.
"Pansy, you know he and I aren't exactly best friends, right?" You asked hoping it would remind her that the two of you hadn't been a couple for a while. "Remember? I came to your house crying in the middle of the night just a few months ago? I slept in your bed? Does that ring a bell?"
"Couples break up all the time and get back together. Remember all the times Draco and I broke up?" Pansy asked with attitude. She finished her drink.
"You two never got back together," you pointed out feeling cruel since that girl was in love with him since first year at Hogwarts. "Blaise and I had our love story and the fairytale ended. He is probably just using some of his mom's money to travel the world before having to parent his siblings,"
"You know he loves his brothers and sister more than anything. This isn't like him. He would have told one Draco, Theo, or I," Pansy informed you and crossed her arms. You opened your mouth to speak but she put her hand up. "I am leaving. Let me know if you find him or call me when you want to be a friend again,"
She left her now empty glass on the table and left you with your thoughts. Guilt washed over you. She was right. He would never go anywhere without telling someone. You walked to your room seeing the picture of you and Blaise on your nightstand.
The picture showed a young, happy couple. Blaise peppered your head with kisses while embracing you. You had a smile on your face that hasn't come back since before the break up.
You laid in your bed and sighed. Your eyes heavy as you allowed sleep to take you. A burning question lingered. "Blaise, where are you?"
You woke up to someone knocking loudly on your front door. The alarm clock read 12:30 AM. Startled you grabbed your wand and walked to the door slowly. The knocks became softer the closer you walked to the door. Maybe the unexpected visitor was your neighbor's husband. He was known to forget where he lived after a few pints at the pub.
"You are at the wrong house, Mr. Pine," you chuckled trying to appear unnerved. You opened the door and your eyes widened. Standing before you was a sad Blaise. His eyes half closed as he stumbled on your porch. "Blaise?"
He nodded yet you still couldn't believe it was him. His normal clean shaven face had stubble on it. The man always a stickler for fashion and cleanliness now wore a dirty striped shirt and jeans. He leaned against your doorframe for support.
"Can I come in?" He whispered yet before you could answer he was falling over. You grabbed him and placed his arm above your shoulders. He slowly walked with you until he sat on the couch.
"Blaise, what happened to you?"
"I'm trying but I need help," he whimpered. You could see the fear in his eyes. Something really scared him. "I can't take care of them, Y/N. She screwed me up and I don't want to screw them up to,"
"Blaise, you aren't a screw up. They love you and you love them," you assured him. You sat on the table in front of him. His eyes downcast. He leaned into your hand once you caressed his cheek. "Pansy, Theo, Draco, and I will help you. Don't give up on your family. They lost their mother too. They need you,"
"I screw everything up. I even screwed our relationship up," he whispered. Tears pooled in his eyes. You stared in awe. Blaise was never one to almost cry. "I don't know how you can want to help me,"
"We are young and we moved too fast. It happens," you shrugged. This was true. Right after Hogwarts you two were living together. Apparently you two didn't realize that living in the same school was different than living in an apartment together. The relationship went sour quickly after that.
"I want you back,"
"You don't mean that. You are just scared. Let's get you to sleep and we'll talk in the morning," you promised. He laid on the couch. Pillows and blankets were gathered from the closet. You handed him the pillows and placed the blanket on him. He grabbed your hand.
"I mean it, Y/N. I will win you back," he muttered before falling asleep.

The King's Men - Chapter Three
Day: Friday, January 5th Time: 8:30 PM EST
Neil hesitated, then set the bag on Matt's bed and struggled out of his shirt. It was getting a little easier every day, but it hurt when he raised his arms too high and when he twisted he felt the pull at his stitches. He got his shirt over his head and to his elbows before Andrew got tired of watching him struggle and tugged the shirt loose. Andrew tossed it off to one side and didn't look to see where it landed. He was more interested in the scars and bruises covering Neil's front. Andrew reached for the bandages on Neil's wrists, and Neil let him rip tape and gauze off. The scabs looked worse today than they had when he first landed in South Carolina. Abby was right; he needed to let his wounds air. Neil dragged his stare up from the ugly lines striped across his wrists to Andrew's face. Neil wasn't sure what he was looking for: a hint of Wednesday's violence or last semester's callous, cheerful dismissals. He got neither. Andrew looked a thousand years from all of this, detached and unconcerned. On Neil's right shoulder was a burn scar, courtesy of getting smacked by a hot iron. Andrew put his left hand to it, fingertips lining up perfectly with the raised bumps the iron's holes had left behind. His right thumb found the puckered flesh from a bullet. Neil had slept in his bulletproof vest for almost a month after that close call, too scared to take it off. His mother had to bully him into shedding it long enough to wash up. "Someone shot you," Andrew said. "I told you someone was after me," Neil said. "This," Andrew dug his fingers harder into the iron mark, "is not from a life on the run." "My father gave me that. People came by asking questions about his work. I didn't say anything, but I didn't sit still enough, either. He hit me as soon as the door closed behind them. That's why I gave you 'Abram'," Neil said. "I don't want to give you my father's name because I don't want anyone to call me it ever again. I hated him." Andrew was quiet a long time, then dropped his hand to the slashes across Neil's gut. "Renee said you refused our knives. A murder magnet like you shouldn't walk around unarmed." "I'm not," Neil said. "I thought you were going to watch my back this year?" Andrew glanced up at him again, expression unreadable. He said nothing, so Neil pressed on with, "You're not actually a sociopath, are you?" "I never said I was." "You let them say it about you," Neil said. "You could have corrected them." Andrew waved that off. "What people want to think of me is not my problem." "Does Coach know?" "Of course he does." "Then your medicine...?" Neil asked. "Were those pills really anti-psychotics?" "You ask a lot of questions," Andrew said, and left Neil alone to get dressed.

Love in Separation
Where eight days after Krishna’s disappearance, Rukmini has to make a choice
"Rukmini didi..." Jambavati called hesitantly, standing far at the doorframe of Rukmini's balcony with the rest of Ashtabharyas closely behind. They stared at Rukmini's posture with a vision that was glossed with warm tears. The chief Queen of Dwarka was overlooking at the barbarous destruction of her own Queendom — all without a word; without a tear.
As a response, Rukmini hummed, quiet inaudibly at that for she knew the news that was about to fall on her ears. 'Pradyumna and Charudeshna', her breath hitched at the thought and fingers mindlessly gripped the railings, directing her affliction at one place.
"Ruku..." Satyabhama wailed this time, worriedly sprinting towards her co-wife with the news that had numbed all their senses already. She knew, that no matter how she tries to put the words, nothing can lessen the sorrowl that it will inevitably bring along. "Oh Rukmini," She spoke, softly placing a hand on Rukmini's shoulder, "Charudeshna and Pradyumna have –"
"Have followed their father's footsteps and left their mother behind all by herself, isn't it?" Rukmini chuckled humourlessly. The younger one stared at Vaidarbhi in dubeity. There were no trace of tears, no disconsolation at the fate; just a smile curling up her lips. Like a hermit above all the wordly muses.
The other wives let another set of tears roll past their quivering lips as if, they all were shedding the tears of Rukmini's anguish. "You're not alone, Didi. Never. Your eight co-wives, your eight priya sakhis are here and fervently vow to never leave your side, ever." Mitravinda added, making every effort to get the Princess of Vidarbha to lower her defences.
"Oh Mitra," Rukmini chuckled. Again. But this time her teary eyes crinkled at their ends and there was a certain warmth in that laughter, a warmth that Dwarka hadn't felt in the last few days. "You, me... us," She said, gesturing at her co-wives, "We're one. We've always been. And anyways, I'm done shedding my tears," She smiled harder, wiping the tear stains on the faces of the other Lakshmis, "And you all should too, for now, there is nothing to lose. Let the burden and the fear wash away. Alright?"
"Have we ever disobeyed you?" Charuhaasini cracked a half smile at the former's reassurance.
"Hm...not that I remember." Rukmini winked, making the rest of the ladies contribute to the muffled giggles while slowly exiting the chambers. "Oh, and Satyaa!" She voiced up, suddenly remembering something she was meant to, long ago.
"Yes, your majesty?"
"Oh pfftt drop it!" The chief queen chuckled, "Arjun will be here anytime now. Don't let the disaster that has dawned upon us come in the way of our duties. He has promised to take the remaining of our people to safety, so make arrangements to welcome him in Dwarka with due honour and assist him with the strategies. And..." Rukmini's musings halted, gulping down the lump slowly resurfacing in her throat.
"And what, Ruku?"
"Take care of Vajranabha, now will you?" Satyabhama listened to her attentively, nodding at Rukmini's every sentence.
"Of course I will. But...but where are you going?" Satyabhama squinted her eyes, scooting closer to Rukmini who was sat across the edge of her bed.
"Me? I'm sitting right in front of you." Rukmini smiled at the former's gesture, getting up from where she was sat, to avoid Satyabhama's perspicacious gaze from over analysing her pale face.
"Rukmini, I know you good enough to read past your monotonous facial expressions. Asking for the saftey for the remaining Yadavas, pleading for the protection of Vajranabha; we all know that you can do that all by yourself too," The third queen followed the movements, standing right behind Rukmini, "Am I talking to the same Dwarkeshwari who is sitting on the throne for her people for the last eight days after Dwarkadheesh —"
"— No." Rukmini replied hastily, cutting Satrajiti before she could continued the cursed sentence. "Satyaa, the last entire week has snatched away a part of me every single day and now all I am left with, is myself. Neither my Natha, nor my children; neither my Dwarka, nor my people.
Neither Dwarkeshwari nor Vaidarbhi; today, you're talking to Rukmini." She sighed, letting a few beads of warm tears roll down her face full of athymy.
Satyabhama's instincts had outplayed her this time and her immediate response to watch Rukmini shed some painful tears, was to engulf her in an embrace like no other. "Let me make this clear, you are not going anywhere. We need you, this Queendom of Dwarka needs you. Narayan himself could not bear separation from you, how will we bear it, Rukmini?"
"What seperation, Satyabhame? Even the soil of Dwarka breathes my name. No mortal curses can seperate Rukmini from her people and her Dwarka." Moved by Satyabhama's words, Rukmini blinked back her remaining tears.
"Dwarkeshwari ki jay ho. Mata, Rajkumar Arjun has arrived in Dwarka." A daasi informed, briefly interrupting the two sisters in what might be their last mortal meeting.
"Great. Satyaa, I think you should get going now. And don't forget the things I told you." Rukmini comanded, patting the other queen's back.
Satyabhama glanced at her unconvincingly. "I won't, but what about you?" She asked, turning back to face Rukmini again.
"I shall join you all soon. But before that, need to breathe some fresh air and...and get a few things off my mind." Rukmini stuttered, fiddling with the only ring that was tightly wrapped around her finger. The ring that she had never once removed ever since Krishna slid it down her ring finger on their wedding day.
"Sure?"
"Ye–yes my dear Satya..."
"I'll be waiting."
Satyabhama stole one last glance at her favourite co-wife before proceeding to perform her own duties. Rukmini, on the other hand, had thrown her body against the locked door of her chambers. Eyes squeezed shut and heavy tears coursing down without any barrier, she took multiple glances around her chamber. She could hear giggles of her children, Krishna's playful banter and his melodious flute echoing from every corner of the room.
It was just yesterday that Pradyumna and Charudeshna had walked into her chambers. And today, they had simply walked out of her life. It was just yesterday that Charumati had gotten married and promised that she would visit her often and today it was Rukmini who would keep re-visiting the place where Charumati'a agni chita burnt louder than her mother's cries. It was just yesterday that Aniruddh had built a whole temple for her and Krishna, telling how intricately he would worship them daily, but today it was just Rukmini squaring off against another vigraha of Rukmini.
The goddess of Fortune slowly removed her footwear; barefootedly exiting the royalty from the other end of the palace ever so carefully to not make any noise of her presence known. The cold waves of the sea washed over her feet as if they were restless to do so for a long time. Her eyes shimmery eyes watched the chariot of Arjun safely leaving the gates of Dwarka along with Vajranabha. "Yashashasvi Bhava, Putra..." She whispered to herself. Another lone tear escaped her lotus eyes on seeing the gut wrenching personification of the curse. Rukmini couldn't meet her eyes with all the bloodshed of her own people, the destruction of her own Queendom.
The water level, whose gentle waves previously bathed her feet, abruptly began rising with each step that Rukmini took away from Dwarka. Rukmini didn't know where Jara shot the arrow for had she done that, the anguish of the seperation from her beloved, would have prevented her from carrying out her final obligations as a monarch. Despite not knowing the whereabouts of where Krishna took his last mortal breath, there was this invisible force of their love, leading her to where she was supposed to be. Afterall, Rukmini was inseparable from her Shyam.
note : I just wanted to repost what I had written on my previous blog
Also Vajranabha - great grandson of Krishna and Rukmini. According to the folktale I heard, Rukmini ruled over Dwarka before leaving her mortal body and Dwarka drowned the moment she stepped out, unable to bear separation from their Queen.

Evelyn wrinkled her nose in her sleep when the faintest feather-like touch brushed past the tip, fluttering her eyes open in confusion when the back of a hand had pressed gently against her forehead and then down to her cheek. She squinted her eyes from the dimmed lighting, her head feeling like it was being whacked around repeatedly with a hammer.
“Sorry baby, I didn’t mean to wake you,” Mingyu’s voice was just above a whisper, smoothing down her hair as he spoke quietly to her. He was crouched down in front of the couch, Evelyn’s temporary bed as she napped for practically the entire day. He frowned at the sight of her pinkish cheeks, rubbing his thumb over the skin gently, “You’re still burning up.”
Evelyn leaned into his hand, pressing her eyes closed tightly as another pulse from her migraine coursed throughout her head in subtle waves. She was unfortunately cursed with having migraines more often from the genetics of her mother’s side of the family, all the while catching a cold from god knows where. She brought one of her hands up to shield her eyes from the light, as she peeked one eye open at him.
“What time is it?” It came out more mumbled together than she would’ve liked but she couldn’t help it.
“It’s almost midnight.”
He leaned back on his feet to press up from his spot on the floor, grabbing her medicine and a bottle of water from the kitchen before making his way back over to her. She grimaced when she saw the medicine bottle in his hand, scrunching her face up in disgust watching him pour the thick liquid into the little plastic measuring cup slowly to not spill any. She had unfortunately run out of the pill form of cold medicine and was left at the hands of the liquid form.
“Ugh that stuff is so gross,” She whined, sitting up and taking the cup from him, putting it to her lips and tilting her head back to let it drain into her mouth. She swallowed the medicine quickly, handing him the cup back and grabbing the water bottle to wash away the bitter taste.
“But it’ll help you get better faster,” He pouted his lips in sympathy, grabbing her by the hand and kissing her knuckles, reeling back on his heels to drop the medicine off on the counter and tossing the cup into the sink to deal with in the morning.
Evelyn threw her arms above her head, twisting her body around to crack her back. She looked over to where Winnie’s bed was, frowning when she didn’t see the puppy anywhere in sight. Bleu was also strangely not up on her perch looking out of the window or walking around the apartment with her mantra of meows.
“Where’re the babies at?”
“Winnie is being looked after by Seungkwan and Bleu is over with Wonwoo so you wouldn’t have to worry about them while being unwell,” He wandered back into the living room, sliding in beside her on the couch and pulling her in towards his chest, the two of them falling against the back of the couch.
A hum left her lips as she snuggled into his warm body wanting nothing more than to fall back into a deep sleep. Mingyu pressed a kiss on the top of her head, taking notice of her eyes falling shut.
“C’mon sleepy girl,” Mingyu giggled as Evelyn tried to wrap her limbs around his body, “Let’s lay in our actual bed.”
He slithered out from her grasp, holding his hand out for her to take
“Carry me,” She pouted her lips out, holding her arms up in a silent beg. If she was being honest, walking to the bed felt like such a chore and she would have rathered to stay in her spot on the couch, but also knew that her back would be in such pain in the morning.
“Come here my little baby.”
Mingyu scooped her up into his arms, one arm holding underneath her knees and the other firmly holding against her back. He used his elbow to shut off the light switch before making their way down the hallway into the bedroom. He knew her bedroom like the back of his hand and found the bed without having to turn on a light, not wanting to worsen Evelyn’s headache anymore than it already was.
He laid her gently on her side of the bed, pulling the covers over top of her body, pressing another kiss to her forehead. His hand instinctively came forward and caressed the side of her face, Evelyn’s eyes already falling close from the medicine and just pure exhaustion. Mingyu stripped down to just his boxers, slipping in beside Evelyn on his claimed side of the bed. And like it was instinct, Evelyn turned onto her side and wiggled until she was smack against Mingyu’s body, cuddling him until she fell into complete sleepiness.
