okay so i think yuta is the type to see like one of those shitty pamphlets thats like WORLDS BIGGEST BALL OF YARN or LOCOMOTIVE FROM 1860 and be like hiyoko please please please babe please we HAVE to go we HAVE TO and shes like. deep sigh. okay fine. but they both love it. theyve got a lot of dumb photos at tacky tourist attractions. hiyoko likes visiting museums and like...cool pretty stuff but honestly? she’s mostly staying in the car or getting dragged into stuff (that she really does end up enjoying)

some of the cooler stuff they visit is the ufo museum, the house on the rock, and like several small historical societies. the mo when they get to a new town they’re staying in is check out the visitor center and get a shitload of pamphlets so they can decide what to do. 

plus this is related to the like au itself but mahiru gives them a camera before the trip and hiyoko thinks its stupid but she still uses it. its like. yuta grinning like a dumbass in front of the official bigfoot museum with a shitload of merch. hiyoko making a face bc she just tried her first slushie and it is not agreeing with her. the stupid mornings in shitty motels with the awful breakfast buffets. dumb beach pics. and of course the little candids yuta manages to snap when hiyoko isnt looking. the sun shining through her hair or the smile she makes at yutas dumb jokes. the little moments where her guard gets let down are the photos he treasures the most. that and the one of yuta snorting diet pepsie out his nose bc hiyoko said shed never had a twinkie and he was floored

Okay but consider: hajime has to accidentally discover that nagito listens awful instagram diy music. He's curious about what music Nagito likes and Nagito just goes on the whole "oh my music taste is trash just like me" type of thing. Hajime doesn't believe him until he hears it

AKEKAKDMAMDMAM yeah. Exactly. Hajime thinks “well it can’t be THAT bad” but it is. It is that bad.

Also consider: Nagito starts making his own awful Instagram diy music and gets Hajime to listen to it to check if it’s awful enough
