Hello! I'm a new-ish fan, and I really love Zenith of Stars! Please ignore me if it's rude, but I just want to ask if there's an update schedule? I really look forward to every chapter! Thanks for your hard work!

Also unrelated but I was so surprised to find that you're the author of Polaris and Canopus as well! I'm really lucky you write for the same fandoms I also follow!

Hello and thank you for reading! Polaris and Canopus are definitely some of the earlier works I've written haha, but I'm glad you enjoyed them as well. :D

I don't have an official update schedule, since I'm unable to consistently write as much as I'd like due to various other obligations and time constraints. However, so far the average length of time between zenith of stars updates seems to be 2-3 weeks? ... Has anyone been keeping track. ;;;

That being said, I do have a personal goal to try and update zenith of stars more while season 2 of the JJK anime is airing as a celebration of sorts haha. So, we'll see how that goes!

Assuming that nothing throws a wrench into my schedule we should be seeing a new chapter posted this week.

Hey uh. Go read this NaruMitsu/WrightWorth fic. I'm in so deep and I need everyone to know about it.

The premise sounds really specific (Miles' color vision fades whenever he's especially stressed) but it only incidentally affects the overall plot. For the most part, it's actually just a slow, often very soft, exploration of the seven-year gap and how Miles, Phoenix, and Trucy figure out the future together along the way.

FEATURING:

everyone knowing Kristoph is shady from the very beginning, and thus plotting against him and roasting him behind his back to my utter delight

Miles very responsibly getting a therapist, and then proceeding to convince all his friends to do the same

slow build of Trucy's abandonment issues (and Phoenix's feelings of helplessness in the face of them (and Miles' gentle if awkward support for both of them as they work through it all))

Phoenix getting certified as a paralegal in the European courts to help Miles when he can, as they work toward the long-term plan of getting his proper badge back

Miles going to a Steel Samurai con..... multiple years in a row (one of my fav subplots of the fic, not even gonna lie)

Larry being a good babysitter and a great friend

Miles and Phoenix repeatedly ending up in jail for crimes they did not commit

frankly irresponsible amounts of Dadworth fluff (with Trucy and also with Sebastian)

and, of course, slow-burn NaruMitsu goodness... except it's almost not that slow-burn because Miles realizes what he's feeling pretty early on, except he's also a dork who decides not to act on it for years on end for Perfectly Logical Reasons and we're currently 160+ chapters in and they just recently got together officially and I'm!!, soft,,, my heart is so soft I love these fools so much

...and honestly this is one of those fics that's kind of got a little bit of everything. A helping of angst (particularly just after Phoenix's disbarment), tons of fluff of both the found family and romantic varieties, a few short arcs of casefic goodness, some goofy subplots and side characters, and--underneath it all--a feeling of cozy warmth because no matter what struggles they face, they're all going to end up getting the happy ending they deserve.

Mystery Skulls Animated Monthly Updated Hey everyone, apologies for missing out on last month, but it's time to get a new update out the door from our team about the production so far for video 5. Unfortunately we don't believe we'll be able to have the video ready in time for a October release. People's schedules have not lined up in such a way where we have the momentum to finish things up for this month. In particular, background art has been difficult to get in due to artist availability. We do have layouts ready for most of the backgrounds at the moment, it's just a matter of getting fully cleaned up versions of them. At the very least we still want to give you another animated gif and to sincerely apologize for not being able to bring the video to you this month for the 10th anniversary. The manga industry, especially JUMP, needs to hurry up and do away with weekly scheduling for mangaka. There needs to better regulations put into place for their health and safety because this is pitiful. Two weeks - monthly updates should’ve already been the standard for the manga industry at this point. These money grabbers will only continue to put the lives of these artists at stake for the sake of capitalism unless some serious changes are implemented.
