A/N: This is the sequel to All is Calm. I loved these two as a couple and felt the need to give them their happy ending. 

It’s everything I promised you. The tree in the bunker library is nine feet tall and covered with more lights and ornaments than I’ve ever seen on a tree. It’s so big Sam had to help me bring it in, but he didn’t mind. I was right; my string of epiphanies in the back of the freezing Impala had been spot on including the one about Sam wanting Christmas as much as you did. Hell, I wanted Christmas too and didn’t even know it. 

You said some things to me that I’ll never forget. I won’t forget anything you said, because at the time I was scared out of my mind that those things you said to me might be the last words I heard from you. One of the things you told me was there should be a lot of presents under the tree, and the pile is huge. There are more boxes under that tree than Sam and me saw the entire time we were growing up put together. You believe I deserve presents, and that makes me feel something that I’m not used to. You think I’m worth the time and the trouble, and I accept that. I want it. I want those feelings you have for me. I want them bad. 

My life has largely been a desert up to this point, and I’ve been a man without water. Tonight I’ve found an oasis. Your smile is brighter than the lights on the Christmas tree, and it makes you even more beautiful than usual. It is totally worth the pajamas I’m wearing covered in presents, Christmas trees, and a dog wearing reindeer antlers. It’s worth the fifty bucks I had to pay Sam to wear the same pajamas so we would all match like you wanted. You look incredible in yours; you can make anything sexy just because it’s on you. 

We all have a mug of hot chocolate, topped off with whipped cream and a candy cane. It’s exactly what I told you I’d give you when you were shivering in my arms in Baby’s backseat. [ARTICLE] 5 things to know about K-Pop boy band Monsta X

K-pop's popularity in America is only growing with Monsta X paving their own way with a powerful sound and bold look all their own.

Since their 2015 debut, the seven-member boy band has been watched by a worldwide fan base that's seen Shownu, Joohoney, Wonho, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Minhyuk and I.M mature and grow their global reach. Now, in 2019, the guys are back for their biggest U.S. tour, which will see them play their first concert in a U.S. stadium and make their first national TV appearance on "Good Morning America" on Thursday, Aug. 1.

Ahead of the guys' "GMA" debut, get to know Monsta X with a primer including all the must-know facts.

1. Monsta X was created with 'No Mercy'

The seven members you see in Monsta X today were created from an intense singing-competition show in South Korea. Titled "No.Mercy," the program saw 13 young K-pop hopefuls compete through challenges, and for viewers' and judges' votes, before the final group you see today was created. Even before their debut album was released, fans had been on a journey with the septet, which made them all the more attached when the group finally hit the scene.

2. Their name has multiple meanings in multiple languages

When the band's name Monsta X was revealed at the end of "No.Mercy," it was said that Monsta X would signify a new "monster" group to dominate the K-pop scene, which fits well with the band's hard-hitting and aggressive songs like "Hero," "All In" and their debut single "Trespass."

But analyzing the name further, Monsta X also means "my star" -- with the word "mon" translating to "my" in French, plus "sta" for star. The letter "X" represents the unknown and a future of possibility for the group.

The multilingual theme also has a part in Monsta X's official fan base name, Monbebe. For those who can read French, they know "mon" and "bebe" can combine to mean "my baby" in French. So, when Monsta X call out for "Monbebe," they're calling out for their baby. Trés adorable.

3. The guys have famous pals and are growing their collaborator list

Monsta X was the very first K-pop group to perform on the long-running Jingle Ball concert series, and the boys took it not only as an opportunity to meet more fans around America, but meet the artists they admired too. Throughout the winter tour, the band took selfies with the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer, Camila Cabello, Khalid and Shawn Mendes, much to the delight of worldwide pop fans when the photos posted on social media.

Monsta X has also expanded their reach musically, just this year collaborating with Steve Aoki on the disco-dance cut "Play It Cool," released in both Korean and English, and bringing on French Montana for their latest single "Who Do U Love?"

4. They're not afraid to get a little sexy

While K-pop is known for its colorful and youthful fashion, Monsta X visually represents a bit of a darker, sexier take on the music scene. The group rocked fetish-lite, leather outfits in their "Alligator" music video while "Shoot Out" saw the guys rocking different chains and masks. Members like Wonho and Shownu have even been known to rip their shirts off at the end of a performance. It's not the usual boy-band attire and attitude, and the group recently opened up to British GQ about their stage looks: "We're not ashamed. ... We've done a lot of sexual items, like harnesses and chains, we're comfortable."

Monsta X helps show diversity in the K-pop scene and prove that stars can shine in all kinds of looks.

5. The US has always been a major focus for Monsta X

After hitting the K-pop scene in May 2015, Monsta X came to meet American fans just three months later with a performance at the 2015 KCON Los Angeles festival. The U.S. has continued to be a priority for the band, who visit at least once a year and have held stateside every year since 2017.

They now have a U.S. label in Epic Records -- home to stars like DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor and Travis Scott -- and are currently moving through America on their "We Are Here" world tour. The trek concludes at Los Angeles' massive Staples Center arena in August.

INTRODUCING…. wanted plots.

oh wOW alright so i’m gonna be basic for a second and tell y’all that i fucking love angst. i mean, fluff’s great and all, but my heart truly lies with the gritty, toxic, dysfunctional, and fucked up. i’m also a huge fan of anything having to do with crime so if you ever wanna do any crime plots come my way !!!  it’s also no secret that i’m a very big fan of age gaps ( obvs not with minors because GROSS ). but seriously, give me everything. friends or exes or enemies to lovers, two toxic people that know they should walk away from each other but can’t live without the other, criminals on the run, any kind of criminal or bad influence with pure characters that have hearts made of gold, characters that go through something horrible together and become each other’s lifeline because they’re the only ones that understand, secret and / or taboo relationships, slowburn and unrequited love, exes that reconnect under literally any kind of circumstances, etc. i’ll link some good examples of my favorite plots so you can get a feel for what i’m describing !!!

i’m also always down for plots away from the romantic side of things. i LOVE giving my characters ride or dies, enemies, exes, family, or anything else you can think of. the more unique the connection the better !! legit one of the best relationships i ever played out in an rp was between carcosa and another girl. totally platonic, but it was such a rich and fucked up dynamic that was full of toxicity and power struggles and manipulation and backstabbing, but also drunken benders and risky adventures and late night confessions, and those were easily some of the funnest threads and plotting sessions i’ve ever had. so please, like i said, give me all of the connections.

tbh i hope to get a lot of things out of this group. i’m hoping to find a safe space to let my creativity run wild and a home for my muses where they can constantly grow and develop through interactions with other characters, in-depth plots, and my own exploration the more i write with them. i’m also hoping this will be a good opportunity to make friends, since i’m very much a loner and some of the best people i’ve met have been through the world of roleplaying. i definitely want to push my muses and challenge myself to be a better writer here, and i hope to help out those of you that are seeking the same things in your journey !! i’m already planning on adding some more muses in the very near future ( because i have ZERO impulse control ), and as far as future plans for plots go i want EVERYTHING. romantic, enemies, exes, familial, platonic, and literally anything in between. i would definitely love some slowburn ships where our characters don’t just fall in love overnight. i’d also be so down for exploring the dynamics of age gap relationships. not just the taboo aspect of them but like the differences in generations, the potential repercussions, the ups and downs and the times where they’re not sure if they can make it work.

i mean who hasn’t felt like saying fuck it to the rpc ??? i’ve been rping for several years, about six of those years have been on tumblr and as much love as i can have for this community at times, most days it’s just fucking exhausting. i feel like it’s mostly become a very toxic, judgmental, and honestly shallow place. i hate the expectation groups put on members these days with activity checks and whatnot because honestly who even has the time to write every single day ????? or y’know sometimes we just don’t feel like it ?????? i know for me personally between my mental health and irl responsibilities i just don’t have the time or energy to be on every two days. and plus a lot of them are cliquey af or die in a week or are riddled with petty drama so i tend to avoid them altogether. i joined the indie community in hopes of rping on my terms and while i def feel like that was a step in the right direction, it’s still a very exclusive community at times and i’ve had difficulty fitting in. there’s still a lot of ugliness towards female ocs or muns that exclusively play females and tbh i’m over it ??? i decided to give this group a try because i love the idea of the indie format but in a group, making it easier to plot with people and put yourself out there. tl;dr i decided to say fuck it because the community’s gone downhill and i needed a change.

Also it's midnight (I know this is all write at your own pace and whatever order you want but I am challenging myself to daily and in order for fun) so I am absolutely allowed to drop this right now.

‎‎ Fandom: Do Revenge

 Pairing: Montana Ruiz/Meghan Perez

 "Oh, you can have fun? Prove it."

“Montana! What are you doing? You’re going to ruin your shoes!” 

The forecast didn’t call for rain when they went out on the town, but Montana saw this as a happy opportunity— when they were younger, her and Meghan would play in the rain all the time. They’d come back inside soaking wet and sometimes a bit muddy, but so happy that Montana’s cheeks would hurt. Meghan had a smile just as big (Montana hasn’t seen it in years, it’s fucking sad.) So when the rain started coming down harder and Meghan pulled them both under an awning, Montana quickly broke free of Meghan’s grasp on her arm and into the empty alleyway. The buildings didn’t do much to block the rain. 

“You’re wearing red bottoms!” 

Montana shoots Meghan an exasperated look, “You're acting like we both can’t buy several pairs of these exact shoes right this moment if we wanted to. I know you’re uptight, but sometimes I don’t think you even know how to have fun anymore!” 

Meghan’s face falls and hardens just as quick, “You’re going to get hit by a car. You’re going to get soaking wet and have to deal with that for God knows how long. And yes, you’re going to ruin a really nice pair of shoes.” She huffs, “I can have fun. Sorry, I care about you.” 

“Oh, you can have fun?” Both the tone of Montana’s voice and the look on her face screams that this is a challenge. “Prove it.”

Meghan hates backing down from a challenge, but still she protests with a sigh, “I don’t want to deal with being soaking wet for God knows how long.” 

“Meghan.” Montana sounds absolutely done. “Come. Here.” 

Montana never sounds like that (especially not with her) so Meghan moves out from under the awning and into the alleyway to join her best friend (with only a minor amount of grumbled complaints.)

And suddenly, Montana looks pleased again. Like Meghan made her day just by coming out here with her. A half smile comes to Meghan’s lips.

Montana wants it wider, teeth and all. Like when they were kids and everything mattered a whole lot less.

Montana spends a moment kicking water up and around from a puddle that’s forming (in those shoes— that’s still stressing Meghan out) and splashing it on Meghan with a cheeky grin. Before Meghan gets a chance to bitch about it, she has her by both hands— spinning them both around and around in the rain and closer to the brick wall of the building. 

In a moment of clumsiness, Montana falters  and it makes Meghan do the same. She ends up with her back hitting the building and Montana clutching to her shoulders to keep from falling. (Because while playing in the rain is fun, ending up on the ground in the rain with the way she is dressed would absolutely not be.) 

They’re both laughing— hard and real. When Meghan asks if she’s alright while looking so openly joyful, Montana doesn’t answer her. She just presses her body more into Meghan, a hand remaining on her shoulder and the other going to Meghan’s chin— and kisses her firmly and fully. 

They spend minutes just sharing kisses in the rain. 

And when they finally stop, Meghan’s both in shock and incredibly happy it happened at all (they haven’t legitimately kissed before), “Damn Tana, what was that?” 

Meghan’s still smiling, still looking openly joyful. That smile is so much wider than when they were kids. It makes Montana’s heart flutter. 

As romantic as kissing in the rain is, Montana doesn’t want to unpack how she truly feels about Meghan. Not right now, they can just enjoy this moment together without anything complicated. 

Montana shrugs, “You’re just really pretty when you let loose and when you smile. Especially like that.”
