guys help i was on a date with a guy i’ve been going out with for a couple months and we were talking about saw since we’re both horror fans. and he mentioned that he and his friends have a bit where they make up their own jigsaw monologues. so i said “oh i have a blog that does something similar” and he asked me what the name was, and he looked this blog up. and then he yelled, “THIS IS YOU? THIS IS YOU?” right in the middle of the mall food court. i know this sounds like a fake tumblr story but this really fucking happened to me today. holy fucking shit.

If any of y'all have done RW modding where you have to put your own hooks into the code, you'll know what I'm talking about lol. Like, who tf names their variables "num1, num2, etc." and "flag"???? And why is the whole EstablishRelationships() thing just a wall of code instead of a for loop?

Eyelashes Glasses Fix

After testing myself. I think the fix for the broken glasses eyelashes is this:

Export Mesh and texture from original file

Start a new package from eyelashes

Import mesh and texture

Set geomatry to simglass.

Save and test

This should fix it for glasses eyelashes, and they will be in the eyelash category.

The glasses category no longer supports uv_1, so that's why its not working. Please share as much as you can! Thanks! @thefoxburyinstitute

Please note, that the eyelashes will still conflict with glasses. As that is a texture issue, and not what this fix is for.

About updating broken mods

This has been said by many folks before me, and I think that most people who have tipped their toes into modding are very well aware of this, but I thought it might be interesting to read for those who aren't aware or don't really understand.

If you have a broken HAIR or GEAR mod, you can update it yourself easily, quickly, and with no risk to your game files.

Very short guide under the cut!

This is ONLY for hair and gear, but you do not need to wait for modders to update these, nor do you need to pay people to do it for you.

All you need to do is to download Textools, and run their automatic updater. Official download can be found here.

Textools used to not be recommended for mod users as it changed your mod files directly. Textools now come in safe mode by default, a mode in which it will not change your game files. Changing your game files can still be done for those who want to, but updating a modpack does not touch game files at all.

Once you have textools installed and open, all you need to do is this :

Then, you can simply click on the file you want to update, and textools will make a new modpack for you, which you can put into penumbra.

It's that easy!

Some mods might look a bit different due to the new shaders, but this should be able to fix most gear/hair mods. Do not try this on any mod other than gear or hair.

Finally, if you use an upscale which is dependent on an original mod for the textures, you will need to upgrade the original mod.

the person who made the improved UI mod for bg3 has a doc with all the current known bugs in patch 6 , which are base game related and

honestly , i am so fucking tired of larian.

this is why you fix existing bugs first instead of constantly churning out new half baked content.

im not gonna go into who calls the shots on priorities, i dont work for them, but i do work in gaming and i know ideally you're supposed to fix stuff first cause, every time you add something new, there's a chance something old will break.

i also understand that some bugs are hard to fix, but its ok to take time..

i guess it doesnt really matter tho, ppl are eating up whatever they put out so who cares... but i just wanna also share what Peach said in their doc at the end cause they are completely fking right

So @somerandomdudelmao made a version of their sona in a dystopia (inspired by @tapakah0 doing the same to theirs) and the person in this ask named the robot C.A.S.5 and I thought, ‘well then there’s at least four other C.A.S. units out and about in the world’ leading to this being the end result! It was a lot of fun to come up with the different customizations each C.A.S. unit has.

also, the design for C.A.S.4 (Cash) was partially inspired by @mobiitez post.
