anyways. im only on chapter 6 at this point so maybe the pacing will improve later on but one thing that's sticking out to me is how... exposition heavy (?) these chapters are? maybe that's just a side effect of blitzing through them as opposed to waiting for their release but it really seems like every chapter will have at least one 'here is x because of y and it happened because of xyz' thing in dialogue instead of like.... showing it through the story ykwim

i like mezato though shes fun :) her and tome left v good first impressions so far #feminism
