I’m gonna need to see Dad Joe with two little ones that he has to take to training camp because Mom has something come up.
Daddy Daughter Day|| Joe Burrow x reader
•pairing: Joe Burrow x reader
•summary: Joe has to take his young daughters to training camp with him for the day after you have something come up
•warnings: none, all fluff :)
"Come on Josie girl." Joe spoke sweetly to his three year old daughter as he brought her out to the practice field with him. His other daughter, 6 month old Hazel, was being held in his arms as the three of them walked out to the practice field.
It never crossed Joe's mind that he'd have both of his daughters at camp with him today, but here he was. You had something come up today where you couldn't bring the girls with you. Your sister is expecting her first baby. She has an OB appointment today but her car is in the shop, and her husband is out of town, so you offered to take her to her appointment. Which means, Joe is stuck bringing the girls with him to training camp today.
The coaches didn't really get a choice if he brought his kids with him or not (and neither did Joe, really). But none of them had a problem with the Burrow girls attending practice with Joe for a day. Joe made the decision to not participate today so that he could focus on his daughters. The three of them walked over to the sidelines, Josie making sure to say hello to everyone that she saw as Hazel flashed gummy smiles at all of the players. Joe grinned at his daughters as they interacted with his teammates. Every one seemed to be in a great mood today, the Burrow girls being in attendance definitely helped with boosting their moods.
As they reached the sidelines, Joe laid the pink blanket on the ground that you had given him to take with him. Once the blanket was spread out as far as it would go, Joe sat down on the ground with Josie and Hazel. Josie watched the field in awe as her Uncle Tee and Uncle Ja'Marr were running drills. Joe gently held onto the sides of Hazels tummy as he stood her up on his thighs, letting the infant bounce around on her toes a bit. The three of them watched the players practice for about a half hour before Josie wanted a snack.
"Daddy," the little girl said, pushing out her bottom lip as she reached out to rub Joe's scarred knee, "My tummy's hungry."
"Your tummy's hungry? That's not good, do you want a snack?" Joe asked in a tone he only used around kids. The little girl nodded. He reached for the diaper bag that was full of snacks, bottles, diapers, and wipes. He put the bag down in front of Josie and opened it, pulling out the variety of snacks you packed for the girls and Joe.
"It looks like we've got goldfish, animal crackers, some puffs, protein bars, but those are for daddy." Joe said, taking a cookies and cream protein bar out of the bag and putting it to the side. "What sounds good sweetie?"
"Mmm," Josie said, bringing her finger up to her mouth, thinking about what snack she wanted. "Goldfish."
"Good choice." Joe said, grabbing a pack of goldfish from the bag and opening it before handing it to his daughter. Josie thanked her dad in a sweet tone before she started eating her snack. As Josie munched away at her goldfish, Hazel started to grow restless in Joe's hands. Her little feet kicked wildly as she started to cry. Joe frowned and took Hazel off of his thighs, situating her so that he was now cradling her in the crook of his arm.
"Is your tummy hungry too, Hazel, huh?" he cooed sweetly at the baby as he pulled out a bottle of milk from the diaper bag. He brought the nipple of the bottle to his daughters lips, making her cries stop instantly as he happily drank her milk. "There," Joe sighed, smiling down at the infant in his arms, "All better."
As his daughters ate, Joe watched his teammates practice. Part of him wished he could be out on the field with them right now, but he was enjoying every second of being on the sidelines with his daughters instead.
Soon enough, the day was over. The rest of practice went by quicker than Joe thought it would. As players started to exit the field, Ja'Marr, Tee, and Sam all came over to the sidelines to see the Burrow girls before they left the practice field.
"Uncle 'Marr!" Josie squealed as she saw Ja'Marr walking up to them. The three year old took off running. Once she was close enough, she jumped into Ja'Marr's arms, giggling happily as he held onto her.
"You're gettin' so big Josie girl," Ja'Marr said looking at his "niece". He smiled as he looked at the baby girl in Joe's arms, "So is your sissy."
"She's growing like a weed." Joe said with a smile as he kissed Hazels chubby cheek, making the infant flash her gummy smile at her uncles. The guys broke out into a chorus of "awe's" at the babys smile. Sam reached out for Hazel, which Joe happily handed her over to his best friend. The baby girl looked so small in Sam's arms, it was actually quite sweet.
Joe, Sam, Ja'Marr, and Tee all stayed after practice for a bit. All of them taking turns driving Josie around on the cart that was next to them on the sidelines. Josie giggled happily beside in Tee's lap as Joe drove around the field, the wide grin never leaving his face as he listened to the sound of his daughters laughter.
Despite today being unplanned, Joe had the best time with his daughters. The only thing that could possibly make it any better would be having you there, that way Joe could have all of his girls at practice with him.

Lily of the Valley - Part 8
Joe Mazzello! x Reader!
Summary: Being a young, single mom that worked full-time was hard. When you weren’t working, you were taking care of your five year old daughter, Lily. You had given up on dating after many failed attempts. That was until after a rough day of dealing with your ex boyfriend, your best friend introduced you to Joe.
Word count: 4113
Warnings: fluff for the most part, some cussing, mentions of alcohol/being drunk
A/N: wowow this part was longer than I anticipated but it’s reallyyyy good if I say so myself. ENJOY! Leave me some feedback if you liked it! Reblog/comment/like/send me an ask or DM. Anything!
Two months had passed and it was now in the middle of the holiday season. Joe flew back home to New York for two weeks to spend Thanksgiving with his family, and it was now the beginning of December and he was finally flying home. You took the day off from work because you were picking him up from the airport after dropping Lily off at school.
“Guess who’s coming home today,” you said during breakfast, taking a sip of coffee while Lily ate her cereal.
“Joey!” she squealed with delight, “I missed him!”
“Me, too,” you smiled, knowing in just a few short hours, you were going to be wrapped up in his arms after two long weeks. It was probably the longest you two had been apart since you started dating.
“Am I gonna see him when I get home from school?” she asked, taking one last bite of cereal and pushing her bowl away.
“Possibly,” you said, getting up from the table, picking up her bowl and walking it over to the sink, “maybe he’ll be with me when I pick you up and you can invite him to your Christmas concert next week!”
“Oh, I hope so!” she sighed, getting up from the table and putting her shoes on.
“Come on,” you said, “go brush your teeth, we can’t be late today.”
“I know, I know,” she said, walking to the bathroom to brush her teeth. A few minutes later, she finished and walked back into the kitchen. You grabbed her bookbag and your purse and headed out to the car.
---
“Have a good day!” you said as she climbed out of the car when you arrived at her school, “I’ll see you later. I love you!”
“Love you, too!” she smiled, waving back at you, “tell Joey I missed him!”
“Oh, I will,” you laughed. She shut the door and made her way into the school, and you drove off and headed to LAX.
Once you arrived at the airport, you parked and headed inside and to the gate where Joe told you his plane would be arriving. The waiting area wasn’t too crowded, just a few other people waiting for the same flight you were. A few minutes went by, and you could see on the monitor that the plane had landed. Your stomach was full of butterflies, anticipating seeing Joe again and being able to hug and kiss him. People started piling in, coming from the plane, and you waited, searching for Joe. Until, you finally caught a glimpse of him, sporting a Yankee’s baseball hat, pulling his carry-on behind him and holding his backpack on his shoulder. He caught a glimpse of you, smile beaming off of your face. He returned the smile and started walking faster, and you practically started running towards him. He dropped his suitcase and backpack, and you ran and jumped into his open arms, peppering his face in kisses.
“Hello, my love,” he chuckled, reciprocating the kisses and holding you close to him.
“I missed you so much,” you said, giving him another kiss then letting go, grabbing one of his bags, “so, so much.”
“I missed you, too,” he said, “babe, I got my stuff.”
“Is this all you have? Just these two?” you asked, putting the backpack on your shoulder, with your purse on the other.
“That’s it,” he said, grabbing the suitcase in one hand and your free hand in the other, “let’s go.”
You two walked hand in hand throughout the airport, and headed out to your car. You put his bag in the backseat and he followed suit, putting the other luggage bag in the back seat and then the two of you got in the car and left.
“You hungry? We can go get breakfast at Dupar’s,” you said, reaching over to hold his hand.
“Breakfast sounds amazing,” he commented, rubbing the back of your hand with his thumb.
---
You arrived at Dupar’s and got seated in a booth in a corner of the restaurant. The waitress brought you your drinks and gave the two of you a minute to look over the menu.
“How was New York?” you asked, fiddling with the straw in your glass of water.
“It was good,” he nodded, taking a sip of his, “got to see my family. I missed you, though; and I missed Lily.”
“We missed you, too,” you smiled. The waitress came back over and you two ordered your food; french toast for you and pancakes for Joe.
“Maybe you can come with me next year,” he said, reaching across the table for your hand.
“Next year?” you questioned, raising an eyebrow, “you see that?”
“Of course,” he shrugged, “you sound shocked by that.”
“Well, everyone usually leaves by this point,” you commented, laughing slightly.
“Well, not me,” he smiled reassuringly, “can’t lose my girl.”
You smiled over at him as you felt your cheeks start to turn hot, “I really, really like you.”
“I love you,” he whispered adoringly, placing a hand to your red hot cheek. The statement took you back a bit, not that you weren’t expecting it, but not at this exact moment. Of course, you loved Joe. You just didn’t want to be the first one to say it, in case he didn’t reciprocate your own feelings. The way he was with you, how he was with Lily; you’ve never felt more cared for in your life. How could you not love him?
“I love you, too,” you whispered back, placing your hand on top of his as your eyes welled up with tears.
“I didn’t think we’d be at Dupar’s the first time I said it, but here we are,” he chuckled, taking your hand and kissing the top of it.
“I wouldn’t want it any other way,” you laughed. The waitress brought your food over and the two of you began eating, Joe practically shoveling the food into his mouth. When the two of you finished eating, and you paid, even though Joe practically refused that you do, you left and headed to his house.
---
You pulled up to his house and helped with carrying his bags inside, putting them on the floor in his room.
“Here,” he said, reaching into one of the bags and handing you a smaller one, “I got you something from New York.”
“You didn’t have to do that,” you smiled, opening the bag and revealing an Aaron Judge jersey.
“I just figured one day,” he started, stepping towards you and wrapping his arms around your waist, “I can take you to a game, and you can wear it.”
“Of course,” you smiled, pressing a kiss to his lips, “as long as they’re not playing the Dodgers.”
“Deal,” he chuckled, trying his best to stifle a yawn, but failing.
“Take a nap, baby,” you said, “you’re probably really jet lagged from the three hour time change.”
“I might,” he yawned again, “but, I have to unpack.”
“I’ll do it, just go lay down,” you said, patting his chest. He turned around and walked over to the bed and laid down.
“Don’t unpack,” he yawned, holding his arms out, “come snuggle.”
“Well, I can’t pass that up,” you smiled, walking over to the bed and climbing in next to him. He wrapped his arms around you, resting your head on your boobs and shutting his eyes.
“Best pillow ever,” he mumbled, yawning again. You laughed and started running your fingers through his hair.
“Just go to sleep,” you said, kissing the top of his head, “I’ll be right here when you wake up.”
“Mmkay,” he mumbled, “I love you.”
“I love you,” you said, toying with his hair some more, until you could hear a faint snore filling the room.
---
Hours went by, and Joe was sleeping peacefully on the bed. By now, he had rolled out of your arms, facing the other way. You got up and put all his clothes away while he was asleep, and now you were just waiting on him to wake up. You got back in the bed, just as Joe rolled back over, facing you, and slowly opened his eyes.
“Good morning, sleepy head,” you whispered, pushing his hair back and kissing him lightly.
“Mmm, morning,” he groaned, stretching and pulling you closer to him.
“How was your nap? You slept all day, practically,” you said, pressing a kiss to his forehead, lightly scratching up and down his back.
“I feel great, now,” he said, taking your hand and fiddling with your fingers, “what time is it?”
“Almost time to go get Lily from school,” you laughed, sitting up.
“Damn, I didn’t think I slept that long,” he chuckled, sitting up and getting up off the bed.
“Tired little baby,” you said, getting off the bed and wrapping your arms around his neck, nuzzling your nose against his.
“Well, I had the best pillow,” he smiled, pecking your lips.
“C’mon,” you said, resting a hand on his chest, “we gotta go. Can’t keep your best friend waiting.”
---
“Oh my god, her book bag is almost as big as her,” Joe laughed, looking at Lily in the carpool line, chatting with a few of her friends.
“Right?” you laughed, pulling up in the line, so Lily could get in. She took a glimpse of your car, and her little green eyes nearly popped out. She sprinted to the car, and the teacher helping with carpool opened the back door for her, and she climbed in.
“JOEY!” she squealed, nearly jumping over the center console to hug him.
“Hi, Lils!” he smiled, returning the hug as best as he could.
“I missed you,” she giggled, letting go and getting in her seat and buckling in.
“I missed you, too!” he smiled.
“How was school?” you asked, looking at her in the rearview mirror.
“It was fun,” she commented, “we practiced our songs today.”
“Songs?” Joe questioned, looking over at you.
“Yeah,” you nodded, then looked back at Lily, “hey, Lils. Isn’t there something you want to ask Joey?”
“Oh yeah!” she said, “Joey, next week is my Christmas concert at my school!”
“Really? That sounds fun!” he said.
“Yeah, and my mommy and Aunt Casey and Aunt Jana and Uncle David and Aunt Kristen and Uncle Oscar and my daddy and Uncle Andrew are gonna be there, and I reaaaaally want you to be there, too. Can you come?” she asked, eyeing the back of Joe’s seat as you made your way to your apartment.
“Well, I haven’t talked to your daddy, so I don’t know if him and Andrew will be there,” you stated, nearly gagging at the thought of them.
“Of course they’re gonna be there, mommy!” she exclaimed, “they have to be!”
“Okay,” you sighed. Joe could sense you were growing tense, so he placed a hand on your thigh reassuringly.
“So, Joey! Are you gonna come?” Lily asked again as you parked. She unbuckled and leaned forward, closer to Joe.
“I wouldn’t miss it for the world,” he turned to her and smiled, “I’ll be there!”
“YAAAAY!” she squealed, throwing her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly, “I’m so happy!”
The three of you made your way to your apartment, and Lily dropped her book bag by the door and headed off into her room.
“Christmas concert, huh?” Joe asked, wrapping an arm around you.
“Yeah,” you sighed, “I doubt her dad will be there. She didn’t see him on Thanksgiving, he called and talked to her for five minutes, and was definitely on something, and Andrew just tags along wherever he goes, like some kind of lost puppy.”
“If they show up, they show up,” he shrugged, “I’ll be there. You’ve got nothing to worry about.”
“Every time I even think of him, I want to vomit,” you sighed, closing your eyes and laying your head against his chest, “thank you.”
“Don’t mention it,” he said, kissing the top of your head and rubbing your back.
---
A week went by and it was now the day of Lily’s concert at school. You still had not heard a word from Chad about whether he was coming or not, even though Lily kept insisting that he was.
“Well, we’re going to be there, and that’s all that matters,” Jana said at work that day, “David and I will be there with bells on.”
“Thanks,” you smiled slightly. The rest of the work day was filled with the same thing as always: filling out reports, checking on patients, reviewing doctor’s notes, bloodwork results, sending off other labs, and everything in between. The end of the day finally rolled around, and you let out a sigh of relief as you entered your last report.
“So, I guess I’ll see you guys tonight,” you said, getting up from the desk and grabbing your purse.
“Absolutely,” Jana smiled, “I can’t wait.”
You headed down the elevator and out to your car, then headed to school to pick up Lily. Once you got there, she hopped in the backseat, full of energy.
“I’m so excited!” she squealed with delight, clasping her hands together.
“Me, too,” you smiled, pulling out of the parking lot and heading to your apartment, “so are Aunt Jana and Aunt Kristen!”
“Aaaaand Joey?” she asked, cocking her head to the side.
“Yes, and Joey,” you laughed, “everyone’s excited!”
“My daddy and Uncle Andrew, too?” she asked again.
“I don’t know, I haven’t talked to your daddy,” you sighed, pulling into the complex and parking, “I’m sure he is.”
You headed up into the apartment, dropping your items by the door as usual, while Lily ran off to her room, and you to yours. You changed out of your scrubs and into a pair of sweatpants and the shirt Joe got you from New York, and went back out into the living room and sat on the couch. There was about an hour or two left to spare before you and Lily had to get ready, so you curled up on the couch and watched TV until then.
---
The hours passed, and you were in the middle of fixing Lily’s hair when Joe called you.
“Hello?” you smiled, picking up the phone as you sprayed the last bit of hairspray into Lily’s hair.
“Hey, baby,” Joe said on the other end, “what are you up to?”
“Just fixing Lily’s hair,” you said, inspecting your work. You had used the curling iron on her hair, just to define her natural curls a little more than usual, and pinned half of it up, while the other half flowed down her shoulders.
“Speaking of tonight, what do you think I should wear?” he asked. You couldn’t help but let out a small laugh.
“Whatever you’re comfortable with,” you answered, “David and Oscar are most likely wearing jeans, so just wear that or something.”
“Have you heard from Chad?” He asked. You sighed deeply, then went to Lily’s room with her to get her dressed.
“Nope,” you said, “so, who knows how tonight will go. He could just show up unannounced.”
“If he does, I’ll be right there with you,” he stated, making you smile.
“Thank you,” you said, “okay, let me finish getting her ready, so I can get ready, and then we’ll be on our way to pick you up.”
“Sounds good,” he said, “I love you.”
“I love you, too,” you smiled before hanging up the phone.
“Who was that?” Lily asked, sitting on her bed.
“Joey,” you answered, getting her red and black plaid dress out of her closet, along with a pair of black Mary Janes.
“You love Joey?” She gasped, stepping into the dress.
“Of course,” you smiled, helping her with her dress and shoes.
“Ooooh, does he love you?” she cooed, giggling. You laughed and shook your head at her.
“Yes, he does,” you laughed, shaking your head at her curiosity.
You finished getting her ready, then headed back to your room to start getting ready yourself. You fixed your hair, then did your makeup, and headed to your closet to find something to wear, deciding to wear a black denim skirt, a white off the shoulder shirt, and some black heels. When you finished getting ready, you and Lily headed out to the car to go get Joe.
—-
“Wow, look at you!” Joe said, getting in your car and turning to face Lily, “you look so pretty.”
“Thank you,” she giggled in response.
“And you look beautiful as always,” he said, leaning over the center console and kissing you.
“You look handsome,” you smiled, taking his hand in yours. He was wearing a button up shirt and some jeans. “Thank you for coming.”
“Oh, I wouldn’t miss it,” he said as you headed to the school, “gotta come watch my best friend.”
“I’m sooo happy you’re coming, Joey!” Lily squealed from the backseat.
“I’m so happy that you invited me,” Joe chuckled, “so, how are you going to sing tonight? Like a robot?”
“Whaaaat? No, that’s silly!” she giggled.
“Lily, are you going to sing like this?” he said again, this time in his best robot-like voice.
“Noooo!” she giggled more, covering her mouth with her hands, “I’m gonna sing good!”
“Yes, you are,” you laughed, pulling into the school parking lot and parking. You got there a little early, so only a few other parents and kids and the teachers were there. You parked the car and the three of you went inside and headed to room where the concert was being held.
“Wait, let me get a picture of you, Lils,” you said before she ran off with her friends. You took your phone out, and snapped a quick picture of her, then she was off to play with her friends for the time being. A few minutes later, Jana and David arrived first, and headed over to where you and Joe were.
“Hey, guys,” you smiled, giving each of them a hug.
“Where is she?” Jana asked, and you pointed in the direction of where she was.
“Lily! Come here,” you called to her. She turned around and came running over, giving Jana’s leg a big hug.
“Hi, Aunt Jana!” she said, hugging tighter, then let go and hugged David’s leg, “hi, Uncle David!”
“Hi, cutie,” David laughed, reciprocating the hug.
“Hey,” you said to Jana, handing her your phone, “can you take a picture of us three?”
“Of course,” she said, taking the phone from you. You picked Lily up, then wrapped an arm around Joe and smiled, posing for the picture. Jana snapped it, then handed the phone back to you.
“Aww, look at us,” you said to Joe, showing him the picture.
“Beautiful,” he smiled, kissing the top of your head. You set Lily back down and she went back to playing with her friends.
“Have you talked to Chad?” Jana asked, and you shook your head.
“Nope,” you said, popping the ‘P’, “he knows about it, so if he shows, he shows.”
Kristen and Oscar arrived next, and the six of you were all standing around talking before the concert began; Lily had gone off with her teacher and classmates to get ready. You were facing in the direction of the entrance, when low and behold, in walks Chad, with Andrew right behind him.
“Oh, god,” you said, grabbing Joe’s hand for comfort, taking a deep breath.
“Wow, he actually showed,” Kristen scoffed, “I’m shocked.”
“That makes two of us,” Oscar said. Chad and Andrew looked around, then saw your group and headed over.
“Hey,” Chad said, approaching you. You held Joe’s hand tighter, and he began to rub the back of your hand with his thumb, like he always does.
“Hey,” you said, looking between him and Jana, who kept eyeing him.
“Where is she?” he asked, sticking his hands in his pockets.
“Getting ready,” you answered, then turned to Joe, “this is Chad. Chad, this is my boyfriend, Joe.”
“Hey, I’m Joe,” he said, sticking his hand out to shake it. Chad stuck his hand in Joe’s and shook it.
“(Y/N),” Andrew said, glancing over at you.
“Andrew,” you said, not even looking over at him.
“Boyfriend, huh?” Chad scoffed, giving Joe a lookover, “didn’t think you could do better than me, in my opinion.”
“Oh, shut the FUCK up,” Jana snapped, “we are not going there right now.”
“This doesn’t concern you,” Chad said, turning his attention to her.
“Well, it certainly doesn’t concern you,” she said.
Guys, stop. Please,” you sighed, “this isn’t the time or place.”
“Whatever,” Chad huffed, turning away from her. You looked over at Joe, who looked at you with concern in his eyes. All you could do was smile slightly, and he gave your hand a little squeeze.
The next couple of minutes dragged on painfully slow. Chad kept glancing at you and Joe, and you tried your best to not make the situation any more tense than it already was by refraining from calling him out on it. Casey came in a few minutes after everything happened, and came and stood by you and Joe.
“Did Chad show up?” she asked, and you raised an eyebrow at her.
“He’s right there,” you said, nodding your head in his direction.
“Oh. Wow,” she said surprisingly, then leaned in closer to you, “he looks rough.”
It was true, he did look pretty bad off. His brown, curly hair looked like it had not been washed or cut in years, and his stubble looked like it had not been shaved in a couple of weeks.
After an excruciating amount of time, the concert finally began. The first song they sang was Jingle Bells, and during the performance, each one was given a bell to ring while singing. Lily was in the front row, singing her little heart out. The group sang a variety of Christmas songs, from Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, to Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, and ending with the big finale of We Wish You A Merry Christmas.
“MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!” the group yelled, Lily practically being the loudest. When the concert was over, all the kids ran off to their families.
“DADDY!” Lily squealed, running over to Chad. He smiled and picked her up, hugging her tightly.
“Hi, my angel!” he said, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
“His angel, yet he hasn’t seen her in...how long?” Jana turned to you and asked.
“I know,” you sighed, looking back over at them.
“Daddy, did you meet my Joey?” she asked, looking over at you and Joe. Chad looked in your direction again, eyeing Joe once more.
“Yeah,” he said, putting her down, “we met.”
“You did so good!” you said, quickly changing the topic and hugging Lily, giving her a big kiss, “I’m so proud of you!”
“Thank you,” she giggled, her face turning red.
“Okay, we’re gonna go,” Chad stated, motioning to him and Andrew.
“She hasn’t seen you in weeks,” you said, making sure Lily couldn’t hear, “it wouldn’t kill you to spend some time with her.”
“Another time,” he said, walking closer to you, close enough to where you could finally smell the alcohol on him.
“Jesus Christ,” you sighed, taking a step back, “are you fucking kidding me?”
“So, does that answer your question?” he asked, “I can’t tonight.”
“Whatever. Fine,” you sighed.
“Okay, I’m leaving, Lils,” he said, giving her another hug, “I’ll see you soon, okay?”
“Okay,” she said, with a kind of sad look in her eyes. Chad and Andrew told everyone bye, not like they cared that they were leaving, and finally left. The second you couldn’t see the back of his shirt anymore, you let out a sigh of relief.
“Now that that’s over,” you said, laying your head on Joe’s arm, “let’s go home.”
---
You and Joe got back to your place, and put Lily in bed, where she quickly fell asleep after a long and exhausting day.
“He’s...interesting,” Joe stated as the two of you sat on your couch.
“He was drunk,” you said, looking at Joe.
“You really put up with him for that long?” he asked, looking down at you.
“Mhmm,” you nodded, “tried to.”
“Don’t you know you’re worth so much more than that?” he asked quietly, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
“I do now,” you smiled, “because of you.”
“I love you, my muffin,” he said, “I don’t ever want you to feel the way you did with him ever again.”
“I don’t think I have to worry about that with you, cupcake.”

A fanfic: In which Joe is very much a dad.
“Hmmm…”
“Hello Stress! Can I assist you in your vegetation ventures?” Joe strolled across the lawn, setting a sign aside.
Stress stood to meet him. “Maybe. What do you think about the bush right over there?”
“Hmmm…” He rubbed his hands in contemplation. “I think it looks delightful, but you could try mixing in different leaves if it ‘leaves’ you wanting more.” He suggested.
Her face lit up as she giggled. “Thank you Joe, you’re always such a help!”
“Think nothing of it! I’ve got a meeting with Iskall64, but give me a ring if you need anything.” Just as Joe unfolded his elytra, a fireball landed at his feet, nearly singeing his eyebrows.
“Oh, sorry Joe! Just a misfire, my bad!” Impulse flew past, making a beeline for the malfunctioning machine.
“No problem, I’ll tidy this up!” Joe splashed water out of the nearby stream, but as he went to stamp out the remaining embers, his boots broke. “Okay, I’ll get new boots, and then meet Iskall.”
“woaaAAAHH!!!” Python’s outline could just be seen in the distance, followed by the outline of a cow, falling down the side of his skyscraper. His items exploded all over the place, along with the remains of the cow.
“I’ve got you Python!” Joe sprinted over to the tower, quickly stowing all the items he could hold in his pockets. Python’s enchanted axe and boots, along with some quartz, were left on the floor as Joe sprinted to the shopping district. “Chest, chest, chest..”
He bolted around a corner, only to stop short after running into Rendog. “Hey man, what’s the rush?” He chuckled.
“Python.. perished.. his items…” He waved Py’s pickaxe, gasping for air.
“Dude, that’s so cool of you to get his items! But, uh, what’s the rush? It looks like you’ve got most of it?”
“Axe. Boots. Quartz.”
Ren’s brow furrowed. “Oh. Do you want a chest?”
“Yes please.” Joe quickly jammed as many items as he could into the box and booked it back to the Pyscraper. “Still time, still time!”
“Time for what?” Mumbo poked his head out of a shop as Joe passed by.
“Py- Py-!” Joe doubled over, gasping for air.
“Joe, slow down!” Mumbo trotted over and grabbed his shoulders. “Deep breaths. In… Out…” After a couple rounds, Joe pulled away and started ambling off. “Joe, what’s the hurry? Surely I can help?”
He gestured vaguely. “Python. Items.”
“Oh! You wait here, I’ll go get them!” Mumbo began running, but Joe kept pace.
“Where you two headed together?” Iskall laughed as he flew overhead. The distraction was all Joe needed, as he tripped over his own feet and passed out on the cement.
—
“…..hello?”
“Oh you’re awake, thank goodness! Everyone was getting nervous!” A fuzzy outline that vaguely resembled Xisuma danced around the edges of Joe’s vision.
“Wha…”
“You must have overdone it doing something. When Mumbo and Iskall brought you in, you were dehydrated and fainted from overexertion!”
“Iskall…” Joe needed to see Iskall and apologize for missing their meeting.
“Iskall left a while ago, but he left you some "water” and a raw mutton.“ Xisuma chuckled. "Nearly everyone has visited- you’ve got quite a few goodies now.”
“Mmm.”
There was a soft rapping at the door to the dirt hut. “Hullo?”
“That must by Python. I’ve got to go, but don’t strain yourself!” Xisuma nodded to Python as they passed in the doorway.
“Heya bud, how ya feeling? Thanks for grabbing my items for me!”
“But I lost some..”
“Helping isn’t worth your life man! So, what kinda gifts do ya have over there?” Python quickly changed the subject.
“Dunno, Iskall brought somethin.” Joe sat up, grabbing the bottle. A sickly sweet scent drifted from it’s mouth. He cautiously took a sip, and nearly dropped the bottle out of nausea. “Gouuhhhh…”
“Not water huh? Typical Iskall.” Python chuckled as he stepped towards the door. “I gotta bounce, but I can get Iskall if you wanted to see him?”
Joe nodded vigorously. He needed to apologize. —
“Wassup dude? Heard you wanted to see me! How’re you feeling? Did you try my water?” Iskall laughed.
“Sorry for missing our meeting, I was helping Stress, and then Impulse, and Python needed help, and-”
“Chill out dude! You really are a dad, huh?”
“What do you mean?”
“First of all, lay down. You’re as pale as a skeleton. Point B, do you hear yourself? You’ve been helping people all day, every day, even if they don’t need it! It’s nice bro, but you’ve got to take care of yourself! If you’re busy, just say so and we can meet another time. You don’t need to please everyone twenty four-seven to be a good friend!”
Joe sank into bed silently. “…I just wanted to help.”
Iskall sat at the end of the bed. “And you did. But we’re not children, we can take care of ourselves! Usually. You don’t need to stop helping people, because that’s the JoeHills Difference! But remember to rest, too.”
“…I guess you’re right..”
“How about a toast to your health?” Iskall lunged for the bottle on the table. He downed half the liquid in 2 seconds, before the effects began to set in. He swayed slightly, giggled, and stood up slowly.
“Love you daddy! Have a good nap!” Iskall blew a kiss as he ran directly into the doorframe. Stuttering, he found the opening and made his way out.
Joe pulled the covers up to his chin, ready for a nap. He was the dad of the server, and loved taking care of his friends, but he learned his limits the hard way. Now, even if his friends were dying right outside the door, he could rest, because that’s the JoeHills Difference.

Fate Sealed
Okay, it’s crazy late where I am but after watching 5.06, this just fell out of my brain onto the page and frankly I wanna share it. Because I miss Joe and Cecile being cute AF together.
Fate Sealed
Juggling the baby carrier and the diaper bag, Joe managed to get hold of the doorknob. "Don't forget, Miss J," he said to his companion. "If Momma's asleep, we don't let out a peep, you got me?"
Jenna blew a bubble.
"I'mma hold you to that," he said.
She added a raspberry.
"Smart mouth."
Cecile had been dragging so much lately. Not like he was doing a regular song-and-dance number with a newborn waking them up every few hours, but sometimes he looked at Cecile, shoulders drooping, lines around her mouth and dark shadows under her eyes, and something in him went cold and fearful.
He told himself that Cecile wasn't Francine, and he wasn't his younger self, who thought it was just a patch of baby blues and it would go away if he pretended it wasn't happening and brought home his paycheck on time.
He'd taken Jenna out today to give Cecile a break. Maybe take a nap, or put in a long gossipy phone call to Joanie, or watch some of that trashy reality TV she pretended to hate. Something to recharge her batteries. Bring the sparkle back.
God, he missed that sparkle.
He eased the door open, whispering, "Shhhhhhh, baby girl," to Jenna.
"Joe?" Cecile called out.
"Hey, baby," he called back.
She dashed down the stairs. "Hi!" She went up on her toes to give him a kiss, holding his face in her hands and leaning into him.
"Mmm," he said, automatically catching her waist to steady her. "Wow. You have a nice afternoon?"
"Yes," she said, bending down to unlatch Jenna from the carrier. "Hello, sweet girl! Hello!" She pressed smooches to their daughter's forehead. "Did you have a good time with Daddy?" She exaggerated the sound of her kisses to make Jenna squeal. "Mwah. Mmmmmmmwwwwah!"
"Wow," he said, watching her make wide-eyed, open-mouthed faces at the baby. "What did you get up to?"
She whirled with a giant grin. "I scared the sh- " She paused and covered Jenna's ears. "The shit out of a crooked FEMA employee."
"You what now?"
"Ralph came by looking for you, and I knew how much you wanted to spend daddy-daughter time, so I said I'd help, and - "
He listened, mouth slightly ajar, as she ran over her afternoon. She was alight, practically glowing with excitement. She was -
She was sparkling.
"And did you know I have a moniker?"
He thought of some of the things he'd heard said about Cecile, even just in his precinct. "Uh - "
"Ce-Seal-Your-Fate Horton," she said triumphantly. "Did you know that?"
"Oh, that one!" he said, relieved. "Uh, I mean, yeah, yeah, I knew that one. You didn't?"
"No! I didn't!" She paused, narrowing her eyes. "Are there others?"
"Mmmm," he said, looking away. "Yes."
A pause. "Can you say them in front of our baby?"
"Nnnnnoooooo."
"Mmmm," she said in a way that meant she was going to get them out of him by hook or by crook. "All right. Anyway, so Ce-Seal-Your-Fate Horton was on the case today and Joe. Joe. It felt so good."
"I can see that," he said.
She paused, holding Jenna against her shoulder, staring up at him. "I - uh - look, baby, I've been doing some number crunching."
"What kind of numbers?" he asked.
"Our budget," she said. "The price of daycare, a little earlier than we'd planned."
When he didn't say anything, she hurried on. "Look, babe, I know we talked about me staying home for three months with her, and these past six weeks have been wonderful and I wouldn't give them up for the world but - "
"You're bored," he finished.
"I'm climbing the walls," she said. "I didn't even know how bored I was until I had that FEMA employee on the ropes. Oooooo, it felt good."
"What I would have given to see that," he said.
"So even if I go back part-time, the terms of my maternity leave give us some breathing room, and if we find someplace good, then - "
"You got anywhere in mind?"
"That's it?" she said. "You're in?"
He took her shoulders. "Baby, you've been so down lately. I was worried. But seeing you right now, with that sparkle in your eye that I've been missing - whatever you need to do, I'm in. I know you. You've already got a list of possible daycares - "
"And I'm just now going through the state licensing reports."
"Uh-huh," he said. "And I'm gonna guess you've already made appointments to check them out?"
She tilted her head. "I was waiting for you to come home for that."
"Were you?"
"You want to see the places that'll be taking care of our baby, don't you?"
"Damn right I do," he said. "So let's look into them."
"Okay," she said, shifting Jenna over so she could pull her shirt open. "I'm going to feed her real quick. Can you get my computer downstairs? Let's get researching."
Later, with a milk-full Jenna snoozing in her playpen and reams of state inspection reports on Cecile's laptop screen, Joe looked away from the screen and at her intent face. He smiled to himself.
"Well," she said firmly, scratching through a name on the legal pad that sat between them on the table. "That one's off our list."
He leaned over and kissed her cheek. "You know the criminals aren't the only ones who call you that," he murmured in her ear. "Ce-Seal-Your-Fate Horton."
She gave him a coy look. "Oh yeah?"
"Mmmmhm. My fate was sealed the minute you asked me out."
FINIS
And now a PSA: If you have or know someone who needs daycare, please hit up your state licensing office website for the recent inspection reports of a childcare facility. Names are crossed out in the public version, but you can see what it’s been dinged for and how many times. I worked for a short time in my state’s licensing office. The stories I heard would curl your hair, and often parents had no idea they even had the right to that info. Trust me, you do!! okay /PSA

I Found You, Again #7 (Finn/ Seth story)
Hey guys, I will not be avaliable tomorrow because of work, (to be honest I will be missing most of RAW) but that doesn’t mean you miss a chapter!
If it wasn’t for the wine I held in my hand, I would be on edge. Sasha decided to invite anybody who didn’t have a place to go for Easter, which is basically the entire roaster. Although it is nice and everyone is having a good time. In the end of all of it, we are a family, our differences in the ring don’t impact us in the real world. Except Seth. In which I waited anxiously for his arrival.
The other night, I had a dream about him. We were in the kitchen and he admitted he loved me only his eyes glowed a blood red. He suddenly was eatting ‘cereal’ only it wasn’t cereal it was Finn’s blood. It took me awhile to convince myself it was just a dream and not real. It was hard to convince myself, and I was ready to tell Finn to cancel going to Saudi Arabia. It’s near four and Seth has not arrived, and I became at ease.
I sat in the living room with the ladies as they dicuess nail manicurist and top notch gyms they go to. Liam was outside with the men and the other WWE children. Seth came from the back door and into the living room. He wore a black button down, tucked into his pants. I suddenly jerk, straighting myself up. I felt funny, and a little nervous, I worried what I looked like as I tried to fix myself up. I also was afraid.
His eyes glared at me from time to time as he greeted the women. I couldn’t help but to glare back at him. I looked down finishing my wine. I sighed, getting up and somewhat walking to the kitchen. I poured myself another glass of wine and took a couple of sips as Seth came from behind me.
“I didn’t say hello to you…” He said, softly. I turned, “Don’t worry you don’t have too.” I said, going passed him. His scent caught me as I stopped. He didn’t smell like Seth. I turned to look at him. I went outside to check on Liam as he was running around with other kids, pulling little Birdie Joe on her blanket under a tree. I smiled knowing he was content.
“(Y/N) I want to talk about the other night.” He said, “Other night? You are glory-hungry what is there to talk about?” I said, chuckling nervously.
“No, listen…” He said, softly.
“I didn’t mean to get in the way with you and your family…” He said, a sudden sense of guilt came over and I realized, Seth is all alone, he has no one.
“It’s...no big deal...honestly.” I smiled.
“Oh…” He held up a bag filled with Easter goodies…”This is for Liam, I hope you don’t mind.”
“No, um, thank you actually Liam would like that…” My lips trembled at the words, my son fears Seth.
However, Seth spent the entire time playing with Liam as I watch closely from the back door. Finn was too deep into his conversation to glance over at Liam.
“I have the strangest feeling…” Nattie said, coming over to me,
“Oh?” I said.
“Seth is fond of you…” She said.
“That obvious?”
“From his part, yes...you seem to be struggling with your feelings?” Nattie said.
I sighed as I started to confided in Nattie, “I don’t know...ever since he came out of the hospital he has changed, I mean he pursues me because of me...and nothing else.”
“He is much more loving and kind towards you…” Nattie said.
I sighed quietly, “Yeah…” My heart fluttered.
I looked over at the Finn and felt guilty towards my feelings. I had realized we were here too long and it was time to go home.
I went outside to get Finn and Liam, Finn was ready to go himself, Liam was sort of reclent to go at first. He was having too much fun playing with Seth. Wonderful. Now Liam is going to want Seth around more.
“Liam, listen to your mother!” Finn shouted out. Seth quickly turned, glaring at Finn with hate. Liam ran up to me as I glared back at Seth. Now, I remember what an annoyance Seth is and any slight guilt I had for him is gone.
Liam talked about Seth most of the car ride home. According to my son, Seth is nice and he is funny. Something new out of Seth, funny. Finn and I looked at each other never recalling a time Seth ever being funny.
“That hospital trip did him wonders…” Finn said.
“Yes.” I nodded.
I turned to my husband again and just starred. Finn looked very handsome today with his blue polo shirt with the collar, and kakis. I even manage to get him to trim that beard a little.
“What?” He chuckled.
“Mmm, nothing.”
“Mommy, is it ok if Fintin comes over sometime?” Asked Liam.
“I don’t see why not, I would have to meet his parents…”
“Oh, um, he doesn’t have parents…” Liam said.
“Oh, then whoever he lives with I would have to meet them…” I said. Liam purced his lips looking as if it wasn’t a good idea. I ignored it.
Two weeks passed and it was time for Finn to go to Saudi Arabia. My nerves stood on end. Their laws are very strict, and even though Finn honors and respects their laws, I still worry.
“I packed your contacts in the carry on and extra Pepto if you get sick of anything…” I said, following Finn from behind. We stopped at the gate as Finn sighed turning to me. His hands cuffed my cheeks,
“I’ll be gone for two weeks…” His horsley voice came.
“The longest Liam has even been without you…” I said, awkwardly.
He put his hand under my chin, “I don’t think this is about Liam being without me…” I looked at Finn with tears forming in my eyes.
“I just don’t want nothing happening to you, baby...I worry with Balor, I worry with you and Seth…” I began to ramble.
“Hey, hey…” He stopped me.
“Don’t worry about Balor anymore, we talked about this many times, he is not coming back. As for Seth, if he’s bothering you, you should tell me…”
“It’s not Seth that bothers me, he was always forceful of himself, but now he is different…” I said.
Finn chuckled, “We have all said that it’s still the same old Seth.”
I sighed, nodding to Finn, it is hard to explain to Finn what I see different and I’m afraid my secret feelings will come out. He looked down to see Liam rubbing his eyes; it is nearly dawn and we had to live for the airport early to make the flight and to also not to be seen. Finn bent down to Liam, holding his small hands. Liam paid attention to his father,
“You’re going to be a good lad?” Finn asked.
“Yes…” Liam’s gorggy voice came.
“You’re going to listen to mummy?”
“Yes…”
“I’m not going to get any mischievous reports or phone calls?”
Liam stood still rubbing his eyes, giving Finn a grin, as if to say ‘no promises…’
Finn picked Liam up and cradled him in his arm as if it will be the last time he will see his son. He placed a kiss on Liam’s head as he handed him back to me.
“I love you both.” Finn said.
I sniffed, “We love you too.” Finn smiled, putting on his sunglasses and walking to the gate. Before heading on the plane he shouted over,
“I’ll call when I get there!” And just like that he was gone.
Finn arrived in Saudi Arabia safely to my relief. Although he wished he pack more sunscreen. In the meanwhile, since Seth was there too it gave me time to clear my thoughts on him and maybe, hopefully would do him good and he’ll come back as the old Seth. I know this is not Seth, but I can’t help to think this is him and I’m just being paranoid.
We went over to Nia’s house that night. All the women are going to meet there to watch the rumble. She gladly invited Liam to watch as well. It was an exciting night for us, I tried to look at it as Finn going to new places and climbing new heights for himself. It’s what he wants and what he always wanted.
Finn’s match was up next. His championship is on the line in a ladder match against The Miz and Seth Rollins. Finn has been in a ladder matches before, but not one as big as this. I licked my lips nervously as the opponents took the ring. I hate this intensity. Although the match was going smoothly. Liam kept cheering,
“Daddy! Daddy!” Bouncing in his spot. I had to stand and go around the counter, because I was too jittery.
Finn’s fingers were inches away from the championship, when Seth came by, knocking down the latter with Finn on it! My heart dropped as my hand went to my mouth. Seth scrambled to set the ladder back up as Finn got up- bleeding from his head. He looked at Seth with shock as he took the ladder and knocked it the other way. The match has become violent.
Instead of Finn setting the ladder back up, he got up and attacked Seth. He looked angry as he attack Seth. He pushed Seth out of the ring as Miz came from behind, only pulling Finn back.
“Go get it!” Miz cried. Maryse looked at Mike with confusion.
“Something is not right.” She said, and I agree with her, something is not right.
I looked back at the TV as Finn set up the ladder and scrambled up, but Seth jump on the ladder and grabbed the title.
Seth Rollins is the New Universal Champion.
Seth gloated in the glory as the crowd cheered. Honestly, I feel it’s the best thing that ever happened to my family. Finn will be home more, but he is devastated as he looked up at Seth with heartache and fear. The blood poured from his eyes as small tears came from his eyes. The woman stood in silence watching Finn’s emotional wreck. I cuffed my hands to my mouth, feeling the sting from my tears coming forth.
“It’s ok.” I muffled silently, hoping in some way he could hear me. I knew this wasn’t about the championships. This is something much graver, and I honestly could not put my finger to it.
“It’s ok.” I repeated.
Nia came over, rubbing my arms as I broke down. “Oh my God!” Nattie cried as Seth climbed down from the ladder and pushed it with Finn on it still. I wish I could scream, but all I could do was run to Liam and cover his eyes as Finn fell and toppled over the ropes, landing on his back. I sent Liam out of the room as I watch people gather around Finn to check him. My heart broke in a million pieces. Brie came by me holding my arms as they violently shook in fear. Once Finn moved, I let out a sharp sob of relief.
“He’s alright. He’s alright.” Brie said, holding my head. “He’s alright.” She whispered. She then remembered Bryan is in the rumble and his time will be coming soon. They put Finn on a stretcher, bringing him out of the arena. Reaching anybody across the world is impossible to do as I frantically called in the other room. I finally reached somebody who informed me Finn is ok, and we will be coming home soon.
Liam and I went home that night, I gave Liam a bath as he played with imaginary friend in the tub. It was Liam’s only distraction. I held myself together long enough to put him to bed and kissed him good night.
I finally went to bed, and that’s when I let it all out. All the fear, sadness, and betrayal. The image of my husband’s blood is forever engraved into my memory. The image of that bright red blood will haunt me forever.

He Moans Marry
Its always been a girl’s dream to have a big, strong, chocolate, sexy man with a big dick in their life and Joe was the one.
Joe isnt your average type of black man he had something to him, something that when I thought about him made me wet, dripping wet.
Joe was on his way to come see me. For the first time im letting him visit me at my house.
I wanted joe to fill all my holes if you know what im saying.
“ Knock Knock “ I quickly take a look in the mirror admiring the outfit I had on.
Knowing Joe was on his way I slipped on my favorite victoria secret lingerie.
I had on a pink lace front thong exposing my pussy lips with a pink and white lace bra exposing my pretty size 40 double D peirced nipples.
Can you tell I was ready for everything that was going to happen that night.
See I wasn’t your average skinny chick. I was thick in all the right places with a fat ass to match with my fat pussy
“ Who is it “ Me pretending like I didn’t already know who it was
“ Well hello beautiful , all this for me ? “
“ Of course baby all this for you “ “ You don’t like what you see ? “ ( Twirling around slowly and seductivley )
“ Like baby I love what I see “ giving me me one more twirl bending me down to admire my pretty pink pussy
Slowly Planting a kiss on his lips “ Lets go to my room baby get more comfortable “
I led him towards the room there I sat him down on the couch across from my bed
“ Are you ready for tonight ? “
“ Im ready for anything you want babygirl “
I stood up and proceeded to give him a show I slowly slid my thong off and threw them at him playfully.
Suprisingly he catches them with his mouth “ Damn baby you real wet “
I lay back and spread my legs wide enough for him to see everything I lick my two fingers and proceeded to tease joe
I started to play with my pussy just for joe to see he trys to get up and I motion for him to sit back down
“ Not yet daddy “ I say
Rubbing my clit and playing with my breasts I stopped and licked the juices off my two fingers
I proceeded to walk to joe across the room “ I want your dick daddy “ “ I want it inside of me “
Joe had already did the favor of taking his sweats off I could see how hard he was
Joes dick was huge and I loved it
I got down on my knees and proceeded to lick from top to bottom all the way down to his balls
“ mmm, don’t stop “ joe moans
I stopped and got up “ follow me daddy “
I led him to the bed and pushed him playfully onto the bed flat on his back
Joe wanted to take control he pulled me on the bed and pressed his hot sex naked body against mine
Kissing me slowly he takes to my breast licking my nipples next
Joe licked my body from my breasts to my pussy lips
“ oh yes “ I say as joe licks on my clit
Joe twirled and fucked and licked my pussy a way that no one has ever eaten my pussy before
I believed I was in heaven
Joe didn’t waste no time he slowly got up and proceeded to climb on top of me
“ mmm “ “ fuck me “ I say
Joe fucked me alright with every thrust he had in him he made sure I felt his long shaft in every inch of me
But now it was my turn to take over
I pushed him off of me and I got on top slowly I slide down on his kidney scraper
I bounced up and down tightening my pussy muscles every move I made
I wanted more and I was far from cumming
I did almost all the tricks in the book missionary, doggy style, back shots, spooning you name it I still wanted more
We had been fucking for hours but there was this last position that I knew would have him calling my name
Cow Girl deep penetration I made sure I road his dick like the cow girl I was that night
Joe couldn’t take it anymore, exactly what I wanted I was too much for him
“ Oh Marry “ “ Oh Marry “ he moan
“ I-I-I-I- Im cumming Marry I-Im cumminggg “
With a smile on my face as his body dropped my plan was complete
I didn’t get the chance to cum with him but I would finish that another time
“ Oh Marry you have the best pussy ever !! “ A tired joe says before kocking out
Sincerely EMR
