If you are here purely following this blog for SMP Earth updates you can ignore this post, but I wanted to support Michael a little on here for his upcoming charity stream.

Basically, on December 14th of this year, Michael is going to do a charity stream for the Crisis Text Hotline. He did this event back in July and had many different goals set up that were made to get the fans excited. I was not around in his community that long ago so I can’t offer many details upon it, but they did raise well over $8,000 that stream in just over 14 and a half hours with the help of the community including Carson, Schlatt, Ant, Poke, and Krinios coming in to help (Schlatt and Ant were even part of one of the money-raising goals of that stream i.e. Schlatt promised to write a love letter to Stal if $8,000 was reached and Ant said he would write a love letter to Schlatt (which he did)). 

This time we hope to do better so please if you donate or even just come chill with us for a while and spread the word to other people that would be appreciated. Don’t feel bad if you can’t donate, many of us aren’t in situations where we can, but all streamers appreciate even just people being there in support of the stream, and as I said, people like Schlatt or Ant may show up again so it might be worth it to join for bit even just to say hi because I know I’ll be there in his chat. There is even going to be shirts you can buy for the event that part of the proceeds from it will also go to the charity.

The event is called Raising the Bar and a discord was made for it if you would like to join and know more updates upon the situation. Michael has also stated that being in the server for the stream could mean that you might win some prizes during the stream so it’s definitely worth it to join.

So please if all you can just spread the word and come say hi to all of us that will be there. Donating is appreciated but not required to be there.

This quote is very dear to my heart. I am a true believer in the power of thought and setting intentions to help achieve goals. Thinking positively and really believing in what you want is the way to do this. If you let fear and negative energy surround your goals your only hindering your chances of achieving what you want.

This DIY is not only about having a beautiful Air Plant to brighten up your space but setting intentions and growing positive energy. Air plants are strong and independent plants, they are low maintenance and adaptable to almost any environment. Air Plants or Tillandsia are native to the forests, mountains and deserts of Central and South America, the southern United States and the West Indies. There are about 730 different variations of Air Plants and you can find them at almost any florist or plant store. Taking care of them is very simple; dunk them in a water bath once a week and once a month place them in a water bath for 5 min.

Geodes are a hallow mass of mineral matter, they are known for holding healing powers and each type has a different meaning. Using a geode as a holding vessel for the Air Plants will help to send out the positive energy as your plant grows. So choose a Geode that’s meaning is important to you.

I also decided to use some seashells that I collected on my last trip to Costa Rica; it was such an amazing trip so including them will also add to the positive energy. You can also use stones or anything that holds a positive meaning to you. Place your creation in any space work or home, and enjoy!

DIY:  Sweet Orange and Basil Mat Cleaning Spray

We practice Pilates and Yoga to keep our bodies and minds healthy; thankfully we always have our mats under us to keep our practices comfortable. We can’t forget to keep them clean and healthy too!

There are only a few ingredients needed in making mat spray! The most important is the base oil, tea tree oil. It’s naturally antibacterial and kills any germs or bacteria. Some other oils that have antibacterial properties are lemongrass, lavender, peppermint, and eucalyptus (just to name a few). You also need scent enhancing oils, In this DIY we will be using basil and sweet orange. This is where you can have a fun making your spray and tailor it to your liking. You can change it up depending on the time of year, for example you can substatute the basil for clove in the autumn! Be creative and choose scents that you enjoy. Depending on the size of your spray bottle keep this ratio in mind

What you need: Spray bottle, water (tap or filtered), and essential oils.

Step One: Take your clean empty spray bottle and add 10drops of your base oil, in this case we are using tea tree.

Step Two: Add 7drops of orange and 2-3drops of basil.

Step Three: Lastly dilute the mixture with water. * Because this is an oil and water mixture, it will separate so give it a shake before each use.

Now your spray is ready to use!
