Hi! I'm so glad to have finally found your page. I just wanted to ask, cause I was wondering and couldn't find anything. Are your Indian Army PARA (SF) OCs (such as Arjun) only part of the original COD MW trilogy or do they factor in with the rebooted timeline of Modern Warfare as well?

Hey there, thanks for asking! ｡⁠◕⁠‿⁠◕⁠｡

Whew, so.. if I had to be clear and precise, that where does Arjun, my CoD OC exist either in the original or in the reboot, it's an alternating situation.

Arjun was basically developed for the original timeline where he was recruited to the 141 by General Shepherd around 2013 as per the time period of MW2 (2009). But, when the second part of Modern Warfare reboot was released, it was interesting for me to think about what if Arjun also existed in it? As we know, the original and reboot are separate timelines with different stories and the characters, so that actually crosses with everything.

Overall in conclusion, I prefer to have Arjun attached to the original Modern Warfare storyline, because he was likely developed for that timeline only. If I ever had to make him in the reboot, I would imagine how he would deal with the 141, or either create a certain connection within the story, where the teammates knew about him for a long time, and required him again for their special operation. So, to prove my point, Arjun is canonically a part of the original Modern Warfare, hope it helps! :)

What were the Japanese Wizards reaction to the Treaty of Peace and Amity, the Shogun signed with the Americans and the Europeans? Also, were Japanese Wizarding Families involved in the Boshin War (1868-1869)?

My apologies for the late reply! First this hellsite never gave me a notification that this was in my inbox, then I got really busy and couldn’t answer it.

Up until the aftermath of the two World Wars, Japanese wixes had a hand in politics and advising the country’s leaders at the time. They were strongly encouraged to distance themselves for good after the wars of the early twentieth century.

In addition to the Treaty of Peace and Amity, the Japanese wixen world was forced to interact with the outside world again and they weren’t very pleased about it, to say the least. Some forward thinkers were intrigued by the cultural exchange it would bring, but most were not so accepting at the time. One of the things they really despised was the enforcement of the Statute of Secrecy. Japanese wixes at the time of course thought themselves superior to their muggle counterparts, but they took that as a mandate for themselves to become the nation’s protectors, if you will...To them, a massive separation of muggle and wix society was never a thing and should not have to be a thing.

What do you say about the Yakuza being aware of the Japanese Wizarding Community? Of course, there is an unspoken tradition of the Yakuza not interfering with the Wizards unless their business is threatened.

I would say, given the views of the international wixen community and how the Japanese wixen community decided to isolate themselves more after the wars of the early 20th century, the regular yakuza is unaware of the existence of wixes - except for those wixes that are, of course, yakuza themselves. Might explain some of their shady businesses and how they stay afloat despite all reason to suggest they would go under, or how some businesses are actually highly profitable. My headcanon would be that even the wixen authorities have a difficult time parsing which businesses have wixen influence (and thus would skirt the rules of secrecy) and which are purely muggle-run. And the wixen yakuza love that ability to make the authorities run in circles going ??? I swear there is something illegal going on here, I just can’t find any proof.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a few muggle yakuza do know of the existence of wixen, but I imagine a lot of wixes would keep to secrecy for various reasons (one of which is just safety - the international community is pretty strict about the secrecy and getting these people who don’t have a whole lot of defenses against magic involved would probably not end well.

Favorite male character? GINTOKI IS MY #1 OF ALL TIME, so let’s go after him, it will be this idiot Katsura.

Favorite female character? TSUKUYO IS MY #2 IN GINTAMA fave. One of the best female character written.

Favorite male character design? SAITOU SHIMARU

Favorite female character design? TSUKUYO OFC, but after her will be KYUBAE, she is designed after the samurai, Date Masamune, she is amazing.

Most underrated character? Kondo because Sorachi is cruel to him and uses for him for d*ck jokes. But he is baddass and a good leader

Best squad? JOUI 4

So, in respect to your new questions, it was interesting for me to answer these too!

My question then is, did Arjun escape Shepard and Shadow Company when the former was cleaning house (Ghost and Roach, y'all will be missed)?

Yes, he did escape, for the fact Arjun was sent to the boneyard with Soap and Price. According to my theory, Shepherd separated the three, so that he can use Ghost and Roach to get the intel, kill them off because he no longer required them, and leave. Knowing he would have got killed instantly if the three were present together, it was the best to make them the bait. But overall! You know Shepherd made a huge mistake doing so and paid the price later, ahaha! ;)

Arjun felt so regretful for losing two of his loyal soldiers, and also had the burning vengeance to eliminate Shepherd at all costs. He was present with the two during "Just Like Old Times", assisting them in Site Hotel Bravo, but in "Endgame", the Captain decided to stay back and give them cover while he spectated the two in the cave and alerted for any upcoming threats or whereabouts of Shepherd's location during their chase.

Also, how did the Indian Government react to the opening mission of COD MW3 in Himachal Pradesh? Better yet, how did Makarov and friends make it so deep inside India?

Honestly speaking, it's never mentioned in the game that how the government reacted from the invasion, but if I had to create a story out of it, let's say.. after hearing the news of a sudden terrorist attack in Himachal Pradesh, the Indian Government quickly ordered the special forces to neutralize the threat. Overall, Arjun got the call already from Price about his arrival for immediate shelter and to help Soap recover from his injuries, so he brought his task force to aid them in their escape safely and deal with Makarov's men in the area. For your question about how they made it to India, we know who Makarov truly is, to track down its target and try to immediately knock it out of its way, even being hidden. But, it's quite unknown anyway *sob*

Finally, what did Shepard see in Arjun to have him recruited into Tasl Force 141 and how did he convince the Indian Government to allow him to join this taskforce?

As Shepherd said, the 141 are the best handpicked group of warriors on the planet. So, I felt he wanted to recruit some strong soldiers from abroad too that have a certain skill and ability that makes them special. He got his hands over the documents of the Para Special Forces, and made him research about the 9 PARA (SF). The 9 PARA (SF) which Arjun leads. Since his ways of performing in special operations and tactics were unique, it made Shepherd want to recruit Arjun in the 141 as a leading Captain that could help them finish the mission more easily. Shepherd had requested the Indian Government with the Para SF as permission to send their commando for their international mission which could save the world from a global threat, which gets accepted and Arjun gets debrief for abroad.

But from your last paragraph, it gives us a great idea about how Arjun officially joins the 141 in the reboot timeline! Makes me want to research more about this topic, anyways, hope it helps and, thanks for asking again! ◉⁠‿⁠◉
