Made some world building based on the difference between the Galactic fonts that Noodles uses in drawings versus the keys I was finding online lol. Turns out the in-game Minecraft version is sorta bit-crushed and blocky looking, but most online translators give you a smoother more rounded version! So I made that an actual thing with reasons for it [:

(This is also based on the fact that I made a bedrocker skin for c!Pyrite and included some enchantment stuff on its back [[: it’s really squished and hidden under any cape or wings but I think it’s a neat detail!)

Galactic, as it is known, is a really cool part of Minecraft.

Imagine if beating the Ender Dragon unlocked those enchantment previews you get? That would be super cool.

Despite Scar being chronically disorganised, his handwriting is exceptionally neat. He has amazing penmanship and can write in a variety of styles.

Grian frequently has to bring in Scar to interpret Cub’s chicken-scrawl galactic. “I thought you knew the language” correct, however he does not know how to read Cubfan135. Cub’s notes are incomprehensible, only Scar and Joe Hills can consistently read them.

And YES, Cub's handwriting is so an illegible chicken-scratch. And perhaps intentionally because a lot of his writing is stuff does not want other hermits just finding and being able to follow. Aka: dangerous potion recipes, thoughts on wizard/vex magic, his own nightmares and worries, plans he doesn't want just anyone reading.

I like to imagine that Cub has 3 handwritings - his legible handwriting for stuff he wants people to read, his normal spidery handwriting only Scar, Xisuma and Joe can read (I'm adding Xisuma in there because admin, and he's had to handle Evil X's awful handwriting for years), and then a horrible, rushed short hand that no one can read except himself. I also feel like he's faced so much confusion about his handwriting that he just types a lot of his writing now.

This would also add sense as to why Grian didn't immediately guess the Permit Manager was Cub. Because he only recognises Cub's illegible handwriting.

And Scar would have surprisingly neat handwriting. Though he might be a little clumsy, he is actually really dexterous and has amazing fine motor control, allowing him to write flawless calligraphy (with a billion spelling mistakes), nock a bow quickly, sew, and similar.
