I legit forget there's people that actually think like this. Your toddler is not a master manipulator that pisses you off on purpose. They are a toddler.
#diary#video was of a baby faking a fall and then rolling around on the floor in front of his mom#(like as if he got pushed rly hard when all his mom did was show him a toy suddenly)#& his mom (recording) was like ''awww come here! come here!'' while laughing a bit#and the comment these 2 ppl are replying to was like ''you millennials are enabling tantrums. stop coddling him.''#human-shaped tar pits; ETC#atp I only go on Tiktok to see what my friends + sister send me but man the comments can be horrible 😭

#honestly IDGAF about the toilet show the kids are fine watching it have you seen what goes on in Ren & Stimpy etc.#What I *do* have a problem with is the fact that fucking spongebob seems to be getting popular again with MY age group#I found that show annoying when I was its target audience. I find it annoying now. I think there are shows of that era and target audience#that are better nostalgia bait which cast a bigger net for who would reasonably find them interesting.#and while I don't judge kids for liking annoying juvenile shows#I specifically expect people my age to be *long* over something that's loud and obnoxious for the sake of being loud and obnoxious#And I'm going to be really pissed if I have to do another Dragon-Age-Tier re-curiating of the blogs I'm fucking following#over the Skibidi Toilet for fucking Millennials.#Which is probably being grossly unfair to Skibidi Toilet because (reportedly) that has an actual plot - unlike the sponge!#what I'm saying is if you are going to give children shit over children things but still reblog spongebob memes#you should know how massive a hypocrite you are.#And that should absolutely eat you up inside until you start having a shred of respect for children#Like what are you your dad? Are you your shitty dad and mom? Huh?#Morg Rants#dot post#I don't mind one follower getting a new fixation but when something irritating becomes inescapable (and ofc people never tag it)#THAT'S where the problem is. The sheer hypocrisy in this case just makes it worse.

An Analysis of the Ubiquity of Mall Brands in the late 1990s to early 2000s, or
I Fucking Hate These Guys
by OMG!thatdress
If you were a tween to teenager from roughly 1997 to 2004, chances are, you were left with profound life-long trauma caused by someone wearing Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie & Fitch, Ralph Lauren, Nautica, American Eagle, The Gap, Old Navy, or, if you were came along a little later, Hollister or Aeropoastale.
I cannot overstate to my young followers how over-saturated these brand names were in teen culture at the turn of the millennium, the extend to which EVERYONE was wearing them, and yet, in a weird way, how light the imprint they actually left on fashion history was.
Watching iconic teen shows of the era, you don't see any of them because a.) TV teenagers tend to be way cooler and more stylish than awkward and desperate real teenagers actually are, and b.) these brands were all copyright protected, which kept their names and logos off the airwaves.
Look in a middle school yearbook, however, you'll see it. Look at your aunt and uncle's high school photo albums, you'll see it. Ask any late Gen X or early Millennial. It was real and it was fucking awful.
The big question is why? Why? WHY, GOD WHY?! There's a lot of answers to that question.
First of all, I'm going to cite this absolutely wonderful article from Collector's Weekly about why everyone's grandma had a hideous orange couch in the 70s, and give the most simple and straightforward answer: it's what was available.
This is when the concept of online shopping is still very much in its infancy, and the hub of American consumer culture was still your local mall. If you needed new clothes, you went to the mall. And guess what stores were at every local mall? You guessed it.
For the second answer, I'm going to dig up this utter relic from the early days of internet meme-ing, that has nonetheless stuck with me and had a profound impact of my understanding of how popular fashion works:
I'm pretty sure that the reason Abercrombie & Fitch manages to survive as a brand today rests solely increasingly middle-aged Millennial men whose sense of style has refused to evolve past the shit their mom bought them in high school.
And why the hell would they? Nobody wore Abercrombie because it made them stand out or feel special. I'm still pretty convinced that nobody actually *liked* the aesthetic or thought the clothes actually looked good. You need not look past the basic color palette to understand these were not brands meant for uniqueness or self-expression.
While Britney Spears pranced around stage in her iconic neon colors and body glitter, American teenagers existed in a never-ending hellscape of washed-out neutrals, faded denim, and American flag primary colors.
All of which served its exact purpose: it was safety. It was a way to appear cool if you didn't want to go through the ordeal of actually having a personality or a sense of style. Which, of course, goes back to point number one: it was just shit you bought at the mall because you needed clothes.
It wasn't enough to save you once the school bully caught that whiff of autism and/or queerness on you, but it was enough that you could blend into the herd and pray no one ever noticed you.
Underneath it all was a very subtle undercurrent of class and classism: to wear mall brands was to declare to the world that you could indeed afford to shop at the mall. It meant you weren't, god forbid, poor.
Status symbol clothing goes back to the invention of clothing itself. The concept of brands as status symbols is still very much alive and well, its just more limited to actual luxury brands nowadays. One need look no further than your favorite high-end children's clothing website to see that rich parents still very much think it important that you know their five-year-old is wiping its boogers on Versace.
None of these brands were actual high-end luxury brands, but they still advertised and presented themselves as such. Their ads featured signifiers of "all-american" (read: White) wealth: yachts, skiing, horses, beaches, shirtless dudes with chiseled abs playing verious sportsballs.
The color palettes and cuts mimicked the preppy "Ivy" style of the New England old-money elite, along with their hobbies and lifestyle. You may not actually own a horse, but you can wear a polo shirt. You may not be able to run without breaking your ankle, but you wear the same shirt as the dude holding a football in the ad.
It was an elitist, White and skinny image that didn't age well into the diversity and body-positivity of the 2010s.
In 2003, a lawsuit was filed against Abercrombie & Fitch alleging systematic racial discrimination. People of color were rarely hired, and if they were, they were given jobs in the back, away from customer view. In 2005, the U.S. district court approved a settlement of $50,000. A few years ago, Netflix released the documentary White Hot: The Rise and Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch which admittedly I haven't watched yet because my hatred runs too deep to remind myself of its existence.
youtube
It was a hatred of Abercrombie & the (white, thin, neurotypical, heterosexual) conformity that it represented that drove me screaming into the loving arms of Hot Topic and Linkin Park. Jordan Calhoun wrote an excellent article for the Atlantic about his experience growing up poor and Black and not fitting in to the Abercrombie aesthetic.
I would be very remiss if I didn't bring up the "urban" mall brands of the early 2000s: Fubu, Sean Jean, Ecko, Baby Phat, among others. They were favored by Black teenagers and White teenagers who wanted to be Black. I know there's a lot to be said about these brands, but I'm too Caucasian to really be able to talk about them with nuance. Maybe someone else will, and I will be very happy to listen.
As much as I hate Tommy Hilfiger, I really do have to give him credit for recognizing the incredibly lucrative "street wear" market and selling power of hip-hop. While most of these mall brands kept their image sparkling White, Tommy made Aaliyah his brand ambassador and regularly appeared in the wardrobes of popular rap and R&B artists of the time.
It'd be very easy and very reductive to say that the changing ideology of the 2010s was the downfall of preppy mall brands, but really, the thing that truly killed them was the downfall of the mall itself. Shopping habits changed, and logos and brand names no longer held the power they once had.
The moral of the story is that being a teenager is fucking hell, and these popular brands both offered the safety of conformity and a status symbol to hold over the heads of the poor and uncool. The irony is that everyone who hated them as teenagers (read: ME) and the freaks who grew up to truly love the power of self-expression through personal style (read: ME) became the truly cool people. If you wore Abercrombie you grew up to vote for Donald Trump.
GO GOTH. PREPS SUCK. THE END.

This gives Fushigojos vibes, Gen Z Megumi always humbling Gojo’s millennial ass lmao
i love that omg 😭 that is exactly gojo trying to be cool around megs LOL
also consider:
“who are you even texting at this hour? it’s so late.”
megumi doesn’t even glance up from his phone as he sends another tiktok to itadori and kugisaki. “it’s eight in the evening.”
gojo, already dressed in his pyjamas, yawns. “exactly. you can tweet your friends on snapchat tomorrow.”
this time megumi does look up, if only to cast the boomer in front of him an amused glance. “what did you just say?”
“about tweeter?”
“…it’s twitter. well, technically x—”
the sorcerer tilts his head. “okay. twitter your friends on snapchat tomorrow.”
“you don’t tweet on snapchat.”
“so it is tweeter—”
“no, it’s twitter. you snap on snapchat. but im not even on any of those right now, im on tiktok.”
“megumi,” gojo sighs, rubbing his temples. “now you’re just making up words.”
the teen holds up his phone, because trying to explain social media to a millennial isn’t worth taking years off his life. “this is what i’m on right now.”
gojo squints at the screen, which is showing a grey kitten with its paws on its head, screaming. “oh a video. so you’re on vine. can you send that to me so i can hashtag your mom on it?”
“oh my god.”
#[💌—inbox]#keeping up with the fushigojos#CAJZBSJSJSS IDK WHH THIS IS SO FUNNY TO ME#thank u for sending me this video!! i love thé crunchbros

Hi. IMO I agree with long theory, anon.
I have never said this specific theory out loud in fear I was projecting my own relationship past into that narrative. However, I have experience in this specific dynamic & thought I could share some examples of why it isn't even close to delulu. If anyone is interested.
I had my best friend fall for me while he was with another woman. It happened accidentally, over time, by us becoming close & working together for 6 years. I denied it all for a long time until someone close to us both called HIM out, point blank. In real life, uncoupling without causing damage to everyone involved is extremely difficult. Maybe N didn't want to be a rebound, but also, maybe L didn't want anyone to think bad about both of them for "breaking up a relationship." Outside influences/opinions can be detrimental to a new relationship, especially when work is involved.
The idea of A, J, or even E being a decoy is extremely plausible (we had a plan to use one, too). Was it screwed up? Absolutely, but... sometimes, to be together, it has to wait to be shown to the outside world & we WEREN'T EVEN FAMOUS. So what did we do? We continued how we always did with friends & we eventually snuck around (once he broke up) to get alone time. As millennials, I wore a chain with his initial, we posted ambiguous songs, lyrics, thirst traps for each other & OMG SOMETIMES WE DIDNT LIKE each other's posts!! 🙄 Business as usual. In the year we worked together after, only ONE person noticed ONE time we flirted more than usual. Otherwise, NO ONE knew. However, if we went on that WT, I can GUARANTEE we would have been just as unhinged. This is where IMO, the body language expert (for those who watched), didn't have a full scope of their entire dynamic.
I will say, the family of it all does make it tricky & I can't speculate on theirs, but to show dynamic for understanding... Mine knew.. my sister had actually mentioned his googly eyes 2 wks before our mutual friend, but she didn't approve. My mom knew & approved. His real mom knew & was semi supportive, but his dad didn't know & wanted him to fix his relationship, which was rough. Taking family into consideration is extremely tricky, especially if there is concern on any side.
The SM postings between them all are also very telling to me, lol.. drama. Love it! & to pretend it doesn't exist is dumb. I won't go into my personal feelings on it all, but it's TELLING. Specifically, the Italy pap pics.
The truth of it all is... REAL relationships are messy AF. The jackolas are too immature to fathom a non fairytale scenario. This is why they make JD out to be so many things he is not & project their rejection onto L. Their lack of life experience is causing them to try & manipulate the narrative like the children they are. I hope they all get some life experience real soon because it's all creepy to watch. I also hope that one day, they grow enough to experience the love & admiration of a gay bestie.
Anywho, I hope yall see these theories are all very plausible for real life. Stop saying it's too delulu, please. It's not.
Thank you, long theory anon for saying all the things I wish I could. Youse the real GOAT & MVP.

ABC and the 911 team didn’t realize that there would be so many already traumatized millennial gay men relating to Tommy on levels they don’t understand (joys of most of the writing staff and Tim being heterosexual as far as we know). And now the traumatized millennial gay men who spent their lives hiding, are finally coming out en mass and voicing their disappointment in what happened and how badly it was handled. Whatever they had planned for BuckTommy will need to changed at this point.
And don’t even get us started on the Facebook wine moms. Those are the moms of the traumatized gay men. They are the mama bears watching their cubs in pain again after watching them getting bullied and hurt all throughout their childhood, their teenage years and their adult life. And they see their cubs happy with a silly little character on a silly little show and then it’s all ripped apart. And if there is anything Boomer parents know how to do, and they do it well, is to take to Facebook and complain.
ABC, 911, Tim Minear, and everyone involved didn’t expect this to happen. And I hope they learn from it.
The thing is it even goes beyond millennial gay men. Obviously it's important rep for them and I've seen so many posts (from way before the breakup) from gay men talking about how important Tommy is to them, I am not trying to undermine that in anyway. I'm just saying, as a bi woman, Tommy spoke to me too. I'm not kidding when I say I relate to him more than any other character on the show. Even Buck's bi arc, while I loved it, didn't relate to me.
I know we had to fill in the blanks a lot with Tommy, but he grew up with a Gerrard, was probably surrounded by Gerrards, and my experience was similar. Not exactly with my parents (they were/are very conservative, but not Gerrard-like), but with the school and church I grew up in, my city, extended family, etc. There was no access to the internet or a way for me to do research and work on my own biases. What I learned was what I knew and it's what I stuck with well into adulthood.
That's when I started working on myself, figuring out what I believed, how I thought about things. The things that had been drilled into my head from youth started to not add up and I was like "Oh, I gotta fix this!"
And then a few years after that, I realized I myself was bisexual. That is a terrifying realization for someone who grew up being told how terrible it was to be anything but straight. I know Tommy's loneliness, I know Tommy's fear, I AM that Tommy. And that's why it I wanted to see him win. I still want to see him win. I want to see him be allowed to be happy.
#911#bucktommy#tommy kinard#I hope this doesn't sound like I'm trying to take from anyone elses experience#I really can only speak to my own

Curious about the direction the HP fandom has gone
Okay, so as an old HP fan from way back when the books were first coming out, and then getting hit with the nostalgia and decided to return after years and years of not interacting with the fandom at all, the changes are truly mindboggling and I'd love to get to the bottom of some things.
Like, the disappearance of Blaise Zabini. Blaise was a fan favorite way back when we only knew his name but now I barely hear a whisper of his name. Now, the obvious answer is racism, which I think is the #1 reason why Blaise-pairings have dropped of significantly. Back then we all thought Blaise was a hot Italian girl, and then we found out he's a black man and suddenly people stop writing about him? Hm, yeah, seems the obvious answer (especially considering the popularity of other characters who are just a name on a page *cough*regulusblack*cough*).
Or the rise in Snape-hate. Like, Snape used to be the fan favorite. Everyone loved Snape. The meaner he was, the more we liked him. Being mean to children was a plus, not a negative lol. And this was back when we all thought he was a pureblood who came from a wealthy family like the Malfoys. Now by the time the 7th book came out I had pretty much moved on and so I didn't really see the fallout of readers discovering his actual background, so I don't know if his drop in popularity is classism and learning that he isn't a palette-swapped Lucius Malfoy or not, but honestly I would figure his impoverished background would be a plus in these times. Like Snape is obviously one of JKR's least favorite characters, and considering how she-who-must-not-be-named has destroyed her reputation with her increasing radicalization you'd figure the poor, abused, author-hating character would become more beloved instead of the rich, white, heteronormative bullies who barely even show up in the books. Like with our increasing knowledge of social injustice, I just don't understand why the fandom would want to latch onto the Marauders? And I just can't believe Snape's handful of snippets with Lily is the cause of his downfall (like what's there is barely enough to fill up a few pages, and there are certainly more toxic relationships in the series that are still beloved), or the fact that he was a Death Eater or that he inadvertently caused the deaths of the Potters (we already knew that in GoF and HPB respectively and he was still beloved, and this was when we assumed he didn't give a shit about the Potters or if they died when he went snitching). Draco is still popular. DRACO who doesn't give two shits about slinging around the word "mudblood," as opposed to Snape who actually changed for the better.
Am I just too old to understand? Is this like 90s fashion coming back in style (no, I won't do it again, I don't care if it's cringy I'm sticking with my millennial styles, I did the platforms and the slip dresses and the cargo pants in high school and I'm not putting myself through that again lol you gen z's can pry my comfortable mom jeans from my cold, dead fingers, I don't care if it makes me look old, that's the point, I AM old). Like, in addition to 90s fashion, has the 90s obsession with luxury athletic fashion like Lacoste come back in style? All those fashion ads of rich white people on yachts with popped collar polos? Are people starting to obsess over the Marauders because nouveau riche conspicuous consumption is coming back in style? It can't all just be young kids who have only read AtYD and have never actually opened one of the books, can it?
There also seems to be a trend of treating characters as if they're real people. I mean, we've always done it (Snape Wives, I'm looking at you), but now it almost feels as if the crimes characters commit are treated as if they're real crimes and that liking them is somehow a moral failing on the reader's fault. If you were to say "I don't like Snape, his douchy actions anger me, I'd rather skip all the parts he shows up in" I'd say, cool, I get that. That's normal. But "Snape is an abuser, a racist, and an incel and if you like him you're probably those things too" is fucking weird. Like, Harry and Hermione are not real children. Snape is not a real person. The things that happen in this book have as much influence on the real world as me imagining ninjas breaking into my workplace on a slow day. And that "media does not exist in a vacuum" pisses me off because it's blatantly misused. The pieces of media that have had serious consequences? Jaws, The Birth of a Nation. One resulted in the culling of sharks, the other helped restart the KKK. Do you know what those two pieces of media have in common? They're not about fucking wizards and magic schools. They instead paint a target on real groups. After twenty years nobody has ever tried to hurt a marginalized group of people because of a harry potter book (except for JKR herself).
Anyway, these are just some random thoughts, feel free to chime in with your own.
#pro snape#severus snape#pro severus snape#snapedom#mostly snape some blaise#would love to hear form some marauders fans but im not touching that tag with a ten foot pole#yikes

just saw a lovely gifset of the Birdcage and thought again about how the older I get and the more people in my ethnosocioeconomic cohort (lower middle class but higher educated white west coast millennial american) I meet the more apparent it is how weird it was for my boomer mom to go out of her way to show us gay, Black, Jewish, and queer movies outside of the typical family movie diet that was usual at the tjme. like as part of her media literacy program for her children, both of whom did in fact turn out queer.
this is an annoying post and I'm sorry, it's got that twitter backhanded "well *I* had a good childhood here's a cute story" tone to it and I apologize. the other way to tell stories like this is via laconic autobio someone calls "arrestingly vulnerable" in a NYT interview where you're sitting in your charmingly cluttered apartment looking out a window etc. sorry again. I think my point is just that I'm so glad to understand 99% of the movie references drag queens are making to each other

yo. I wanna hear your personal gojohime headcanons or a married gojohime headcanons for fun! one of my hc is if gojohime is married with kids i feel utahime and gojo would sing disney songs to them.
Aight here goes my gjhm hcs!! (u might even catch them sometimes show up in my fics hehe)
They have movie nights together where their millennial asses routinely watch the entire saga of twilight and dunk on them
Also, they have collected the original soundtrack CDs for the entire saga (cuz both agreed that twilight ost actually slaps).
Gojo sometimes randomly spawns into Utahime's kyoto office to have lunch together and annoy/distract her from making her lesson plans LOL
It's confimed that Gojo is an only child and Utahime, being the opposite of Gojo, I headcanon that she grew up with LOTS of siblings and is the eldest :’))
I just recently started liking the HC that gjhm have known each other since childhood.
Gjhm focused in being parents/mentors to their students especially when working as a team. For a while, it's a running gag of tokyo-kyoto kids being against them ending up together LOL
Their marriage ceremony is modest as uta wanted and as much as gojo dont want to stfu about marrying utahime and wants it to be bombastic, they were able to have a small wedding.
It took A WHILE for them to honestly have kids cuz they knew how fucking cruel the jujutsu world is and these two wants to obviously provide safe environment for them. Also, they want to have the dedicated time to take care of them and not be constantly pulled from jujutsu missions (especially Gojo, cuz jeez that new official gojo booklet shows man works 24/7 💀💀).
Tbh, I dont have much hcs for gjhm parents, but I'd like to think gjhm's kids grew up in a very musical household cuz of their mom uta (so similar to your "singing disney songs" idea anon)

Can we see more Wind Archer art he needs love
I claim Wind is my favorite Legend and then don't draw him
I should though
Some of these are just random doodles but some are headcanons I have lol
Close ups and elaboration under the cut:
They're frens
I think he should look more spooky with his hood up so Cookies walking in the forest get a heart attack if he decides to show up lmao
As Millennial Tree's son, Wind can create life too but only to a certain degree
These are just fun doodles of Wind in his parents' outfits lmao
I headcanon that Wind has a dove form like his mom has a swan form
He's weaker than his mom though, so he can't transform into it often as it requires a lot of power
The scale is very rough and probably not completely accurate, but the idea is Sugar Swan is decently bigger than him and this is the only form he has where he's bigger than others lmfao
I can't draw creepy things as much as I try, but I think the fallen spirits look a little too goofy for my taste lmao
Obviously they can't be too spooky but Milk's fallen spirits look "creepier" than Wind's so I think it's possible
And it never hurts to have a little angst ✨️

If any of the followers wants to help, it'd be appreciated.
So. What's an adult TV series that has
complex/compelling female leads (don't have to be queer, but it's a bonus if there are some) or an ensemble cast with a lot of women,
an engaging story,
has a somewhat active/enthusiastic fandom on here (doesn't have to be HOTD or "Yellowjackets" levels of enthusiastic).
I dropped "Good Girls" again after finishing the first two episodes of season 4, because as much as I love the ladies, the arcs are repetitive af at this point.
I wanted to watch "The Good Fight" and "Black Sails," but I'm afraid they'll have to wait. "The L Word" and "Orphan Black" too.
Some of the series I enjoyed at some point:
"The Handmaid's Tale," OITNB, "I May Destroy You," "Unbelievable," "Veep," "Dead Ringers," "The Good Wife," "My Brilliant Friend," "The Returned," "Bad Sisters," "Chewing Gum," "Black Earth Rising," "Mrs. America," "GLOW," "Kevin Can Fuck Himself," "Big Little Lies," "Night Country," "Top of the Lake," "Godless," "Frontera Verde," "Ethos," "One Night," "The Power," "Girls5eva," "UnREAL," "Damages," "Insecure," "Unorthodox," "P-Valley," "Russian Doll," "Hacks," "Grace and Frankie," "Shining Girls," "Killing Eve," "Fleabag," "Why Women Kill," "Poker Face," "The Queen's Gambit," "Borgen," "Mare of Easttown," "Irma Vep," "Alias Grace," "Miss Sherlock," "Last Tango in Halifax," "The Fall," "The Bletchey Circle," "Servant," "We Are Lady Parts," "Made for Love," "Claws," "The Girlfriend Experience," "Dear White People," "Little Fires Everywhere," "Sharp Objects," "Lovecraft Country," “The Underground Railroad," "Under the Bridge," "Derry Girls" (<-a teen series, but I made an exception because everyone here told me it was worth it), “Station Eleven," "The Great," "Beef," "She's Gotta Have It," "Twenties," "Olive Kitteridge," "Enlightened," "Babylon Berlin," "Deadloch," "Vida," "Feel Good," "Gentleman Jack," "La Casa de las Flores" (<-never let it be said I don't enjoy millennial telenovelas).
Female fronted series I haven't finished:
HTGAWM, "Wentworth" (<-couldn't get into it).
Series I was/am kinda meh about:
"The Wilds" (<-"Yellowjackets" all the way), "Dead to Me," "Roar," "The Fosters," "Lost Girl," "Westworld" (<-post season 1), "The Haunting of Bly Manor" (not big on Flanagan's works), “Bridgerton," "Ratched," "Dickinson."
Series I haven't tried yet:
"The Diplomat," "Harlots," "Gilded Age," "The Bold Type" (<-surprisingly, it doesn't seem like my thing), "Workin' Moms," "Girlfriends Guide to Divorce," "Happy Valley," "Halt and Catch Fire," "West Wing," "Broadchurch," "The Split," "A Small Light," "Scandal," "For All Mankind," "Mindhunter," "Sense8," "1899," "Utopia," "Transparent," "The Morning Show," "Rain Dogs," The Mindy Project," "Vigil," "High Fidelity," "Only Murders in the Building," "Julia," "Pen15," "Weeds," "Girls."
#for the next few months things will be hectic offline so i'm looking for sth to distract me like an episode here some cute tumblr gifs there#and help me unwind. like i have my books but i'm reading mostly nonfiction atm so i do need a fictional universe to#be weird about for balance and i'm usually casual with my films so#personal

Three years ago, "Inside Job" first aired on Netflix today!
Not gonna lie, I was curious about this show as it delved into government conspiracies and stuff. It is kind of corny at first especially when they'd throw in random pop culture references that might get dated in a few years and some folks wouldn't get it. I was glad to have given it a chance as it gets better in the later episodes and also has a very relatable protagonist -- Reagan Ridley.
It is implied that Reagan is neurodivergent due to her mom writing a book that claims she had Asperger's but to me, she kind of gives off this jaded nerdy millennial in her thirties with poor social skills and must learn to be a good boss that people would like. She is sarcastic, and neurotic and can be a little extra at times when it involves something she is interested in.
I am also kind of like Reagan who can be quite a workaholic but also suck at relationships with people. I would be perceived as rude and annoying when really, I just don't know any better and am still figuring myself out.
It's a shame Netflix had to cancel this show despite how good the second season was.

There is no need for me to go anon with this and you'll see why.
I was talking to my mom about the reason why she started 911 and she said that the first thing was is that she liked shows like this. She watched a lot of NYPD Blue and Third Watch, ER etc. Now my mom is in her mid 60s mins you and she watches shows for the plots and action and what not.
The other reason she said she started watching is because of Angela Bassett, she loves that woman and her words not mine "She never ages and she looks the same as she did when she was younger"
Now I have a 9-1-1 tattoo for Bucktommy. She saw it and said "what the hell is that?" I told her it was for 9-1-1 and she asked how it was significant. I told her it was for Buck and Tommy. She said I was crazy and that it's just a show and she doesn't understand all the ship wars. Mind you her and I watched Vampire Diaries together. Thankfully we were both Team Delena fans.
Anyway my long winded ask is because my mom is part of the General Audience and she doesn't even know what Shipping anyone means.
These Bestie Boos need to realize that this show is made for the Older Millennials and Gen X's. And they are going to keep continuing to cater to them.
Oh, NYPD Blue!! My mom loved that show.
Yep, your mom is the person Tim is writing foe. Not buddieorbust2025
