i'm sorry for listening to my father. he did terrible things. but... you know how role-models work. you know how parents work, sometimes, when they're like him. i couldn't help but want his approval, want to make him proud. i can at least say i'm happy i exercised that desire in a way that was maybe helpful to those he'd hurt. i set elizabeth free, and tried to do the same with the others; and i hope you can forgive me for not stopping him. i would've, if i could. ~mike afton x

my mike afton canon is so elaborate but the weirdest thing is seeing people say i didnt do anything wrong like i was just as bad as my father in my canon, unapologetically so, and the bonding we got after he was cold and cruel to me was basically bonding over both working his plan to kill kids blah blah blah its just SAD but i still ly dad thanks even tho ur the biggest jerk on earth also a child murderer!
