I wouldn’t sweat it. Place names tend to follow a few patterns the world over. “Stone Plain” and “Midriver Island” are the sites of two of the most famous battles in Japanese history.

You could go the South Athabascan route and name places things like “Mountain Around Which They Moved” or “Six Pine Trees in a Line” but you’ll probably sound weird.

Ditto people: “birth order”, “cool thing”, “physical descriptor”, and “job” cover almost all of them. (Although technically the Navajo for “silversmith” means “hammerer of white flint”.)

I hate trying to come up with original names for my characters, places and everything else for my worldbuilding just to google it and see that it's not original at all........
