Complicating my life now to make it simpler later. To cut down on using so many analog inputs, I've decided to mix the click and audio samples playing from Logic with the general ear mix for each player using aux bus for each person. I was sending it out on separate outputs and patching it back in after the split. Also, I've added separate midi triggers to change settings on my whammy pedal. Today I also discovered that the noise in our ears was a bad fiber optic cable going from the Motu 8pre to the Motu 828x. This is a relief because I wasn't looking forward to having to fix one of the Motu units if it was faulty.
