Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 adds PS4 version

Konami will release a digital-only PlayStation 4 version of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, the company announced.

While the previously announced PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC (Steam) versions of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 are due out on October 24, the release date for the PlayStation 4 version is currently listed as “to be determined.” Konami said it will announce release and pricing information at a later date.

Unlike the PlayStation 4 version, the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch versions of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 will be available both physically and digitally. The physical edition for Switch will require a 24.1 gigabyte download to play.

I'm sure Aloy (and maybe Sylens through her Focus) would love to hear about the myriad of ways that Big Boss was cloned, but I think she'd be too distracted by Snake's smoking to really pay attention. I'm sure in the Horizon universe (thanks to Old World holos & videos) that Aloy knows what the concept of smoking is, but would be disgusted by it after discovering that infamous smell.

The PlayStation 4 version of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 will launch alongside the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC (Steam) versions on October 24, Konami announced. Pre-orders are available now via PlayStation Store.

While the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch versions will be available both physically and digitally, the PlayStation 4 version will only be available digitally.

Trying out Rigify custom rigs with this cute mf.

After hours correcting stuff and fixing textures I think I've earned this little IK dance.

This is the first model I've ripped from the Master Collection like ever, up until now, I've only used the old Substance PC port and the PS2 versions of the games.

The neat thing about working with the newly available CTXR files is that I get way easier access to auxiliary textures such as specular masks and other FX textures. And they're not corrupted!
