I'm looking for a Merlin fic, it was about Merlin, whi was a half demon, his father, Balinor is a demon, and he got Hunith pregnant so he could have a son who will help him destroy the world. Hunith gave birth to Merlib, and wanted to kill him, because she thought that he's evil,but then she looked at him, and fell in love with him, and decided to raise him away from Balinor and demons. Merlin was a nice boy, a good boy, but becayse of him being half a demon, everytime he tried to help the village and his mother with his powers, he ended up making things worse. I don't rememver how, but he ended up in Camelot, and fell in love with Arthur. That's all I remember about it. Please, if there's someone who remembers it, can you send me a link, or tell me the name of the fic. It was on AO3.

i had a thought

okay so i love merlin and i love supergirl but for some reason i cant get the idea out of my head that merlin and kara’s situations are really similar. like they both are hiding a really big secret from their closest friend that they would probably alienate them for. and they’re both in love with them. i dunno i’ve just been reading a lot of power reveal fics and it feels like Arthur finding out and Lena finding out always ends up the same couple tropey ways.

YES thank you anon!! Like no hate to merlib and only a friendly sort of lighthearted adversarial hate to fate but uhmm im not in that fandom thats not the content im writing or reading. Its just so infuriating

1. Who is the hardest character for you to write?

I already answered this, but i think i said Merlib and Lancelot from BBCM and Shinsou from BNHA

14. How do you come up with chapter titles?

It depends! Generally i like funnier/cheerier titles, even if the fic is more angsty. I take one key element from the chapter and think up something funny/catchy in relation. Like "Missing Number Nine" had a chapter where they brewed a potion so i called it 'Potion Ex Machina'. One of my favourite chapter titles I've come up with is from a BNHA abandoned wip called "Eight Fluid Ounces" - 'I Have Writer's Block 2: Electric Boogaloo'.

I also think that fic is also one of the funniest things ive written so far, and if i hadn't left the fandom i might consider continuing it. It features one of the best bits of narrative ive ever produced:

If anything, he's cotton. 100% cotton, the kind that shrinks in the wash and ends up too small to wear but not small enough to justify throwing away.

For that matter, what is hero material? Spandex?

In my defense, the fic was basicaly crack taken seriously. I kinda wanna do that again for BBCM, because writing crack is kinda freeing, but I have yet to think of a good concept for it.
