October event + new mod wanted

Hi everyone and happy October!! Two announcements in this post:

1. October - fanfic quotes event

That's right! To shake things up, mercyquoteoftheday will be posting quotes from tggtvav fics the entire month! We'll be celebrating the lovely people who put their time and energy into creating fan content for us to read and enjoy. So, submit your favorite gent's guide fanfic quotes!

- Submit the quote through our submissions box - Make sure the fic's title and author are mentioned! - No NSFW quotes please

2. New mod wanted

With school starting back up, I once again have too much on my plate to keep running this blog without getting stressed out. Therefore mercyquotes is looking for a new moderator!

What you will have to do: - Regularly add new quotes to make sure the queue doesn't run out - Tag them correctly

And that's pretty much it! If you're interested, please DM me at @em-gray.

"Dude, I had been smuggling avocados in my underwear drawer for a few days. Literally, I left three avocados in the drawer by my bed at mercy lol So.. This was my plan lol. We got a new girl named Hannah who is young and doesn't really have much of a filter. So she started saying rude stuff to me and, dude, she hates avocados, so I was going to slowly get a bunch of avocados and hide them in her room. Like, take out the light bulb in the lamp and put an avocado in it, and put one in her shower and under her pillow with a note that says " hola". And then I started glueing googlie eyes to the avocados and I was gonna put a motion sensor next to it that says " baby, I'm ready. LETS MAKE GUAC!"

Hiatus until new mod

Hi y’all! I regret to have to do this, but as of today, mercyquotes is officially on hiatus. I’m currently in my last year of college and it’s taking up all my time and energy, so I need to make choices and I sadly have to put this blog to rest for the time being.

However, mod applications are still open! If you want to help out running this blog, do send me an ask or dm me at @em-gray. If I could split the work 50-50 with someone, I’m fairly confident I could get the blog running again.

Until then, shoutout to everyone who’s supported this blog so far! I hope to return soon and, in only a few weeks, happy Nobleman’s Guide release!

Hello! First of all, very sorry for the late reply. Mercyquotes is unfortunately still on hiatus. I hope to get back to this blog soon, but I can’t make any promises.

Anyway! The Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Letters is an extra short story,  included in the back of some (not all, apparently) paperback copies of Lady’s Guide. That’s the only place you can read it at the moment, as far as I know. It’s about Monty planning to write a love letter to Sinjon, and asking Percy’s help with it.
