Last series: The Patient on Hulu, easy 10/10. I’ve watched a shit load of TV in the last couple weeks so: The Devil in Ohio: 8/10, KinnPorsche: 9/10 (-1 because no KimChay reunion), The Watcher: 9/10, The Midnight Club: 6/10, and then all of Mike Flanagan’s other shows which are like 12/10s for me.

Last movie: The Shining. Watched it for the first time last night and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. It could have been like an hour shorter and I absolutely lost my shit laughing when they show Jack frozen bc meme, but I gave it 7/10 on IMDb

Currently working on: I have so many WIPs it’s disgusting, but here are just some of them:

1) My massive Ben x Perry fic that I’ll never shut up about. It starts in 1977 and goes from there and follows Ben and Perry’s lives if they met in college in CA when Perry’s a junior and Ben is a freshman. I usually go months without touching it despite thinking about it/them all the time, but just in the last couple weeks, I wrote about 8k words!

2) A second installment in what hopefully becomes a series for JDox daddy kink oops

3) A Ben x JD x Perry OT3 fic

4) A JDox fic with established JDox who’ve been having Problems and then JD gets hurt (wild idea, I know)

5) Another JDox fic with established JDox where JD gets hurt right before their wedding (yes i absolutely hate myself) 

6) literally a massive document with fic/oneshot ideas in various stages of planning from just an idea or quote to a nearly finished outline

Mia was a little worried when she didn’t see Bev. They usually met up in the mornings to grab a coffee before their classes. But when she didn’t show up, Mia assumed she was playing hookie or actually sick. Beverly usually had her reasons for everything she did. So Mia got a coffee herself and continued to her classes.

It was the gossip that had her even more concerned. Usually she ignored it. But hearing Bev’s name, she listened it.

“I heard someone saw her in an ambulance and they had to rush her to the emergency room.”

“What happened?”

“Not for sure.”

Mia had heard enough. Once class was over, she opted out of going to her next one. That professor didn’t really care either way. She had to get to the hospital.

Once there, the front desk staff gave her Bev’s room number. Mia hated hospitals. Her mom spent enough time in them. But she couldn’t let her discomfort overshadow her concern for her friend. Knocking lightly on the door to announce her presence, Mia entered the room. Her eyes landed on Beverly.

“What the hell happened?”

Laura rolls her eyes dramatically, as per usual, before she checks her attitude and sucks in a deep breath. “Why???” she meekly questions, being sure to not present an antagonized tone. Eyes dart to meet the array of shiny bulbs, studying the electric things with a pensive & furrowed brow. “Is this how you celebrate? Don’t these go on a tree -- or a house...building or something??? - Que es esto?” she wiggles free from the annoying twines and peers at her aunt with an accusatory perk of her eyebrows.

             IT’S  NOT  as  if  he’s  never  had  to  comfort  someone  before,      his  mother  liked  to  use  her  tears  as  a  weapon  of  manipulation  whenever  he  tried  to  do  anything  for  himself,     or  god  forbid  he  raise  his  voice  to  her.      Bev  was  not  that  way,     these  tears  were  genuine.      These  were  ones  of  anguish  &&  pain,     &&  Eddie  ―  kind  &&  gentle  as  he  could  be  ―  reached  a  hesitant  hand  out  to  settle  it  upon  her  shoulder,     before  bringing  her  forward  &&  wrapping  his  arms  around  her  as  tightly  as  possible.     He  figures  it’s  something  to  do  with  the  kids  at  school,     or  maybe  something  at  home.     Something  has  hit  Beverly  hard  enough,    right  where  it  hurts  ―  for  such  a  strong  out-pour  of  emotions.             AWKWARD  CHILD  he  may  be,     he  still  settles  with  his  arms  tightly  wound  around  her  midsection  &&  chin  pressed  to  her  shoulder  to  allow  her  to  sob  against  his  own.       ❝  I’m  here,    Bev..    You’re  alright.  ❞
