the scaredy cat support group | logan sargeant
summary: much to her dismay, y/n's friends have dragged her to see the scariest film of the season. luckily for her, the blond sitting next to her in a darkened cinema seems to be just as petrified as she is
pairing: logan sargeant x female! reader
warnings: scary movies & scaredy cats, implications of fear and gore, logan being a sweetie.
"this is such a bad idea."
the theater was packed, groups of people passing by them to get into the auditorium, eager to see the latest blood-soaked halloween killfest on screens. y/n, however, just couldn't get her feet to move. her friends stood just in front of her, worried looks on their faces as they looked back at her.
y/n loved halloween, make no mistake. it was her favourite holiday by leaps and bounds. she loved micheal meyers and ghostface and even freddy krueger.
but she absolutely hated being scared. she was a sensitive soul, and that was why she preferred older horror movies that were limited on the level of blood and guts.
"are you sure you don't want to sit this one out? we told you you didn't have to come." her friend said gently.
"no, no. i came here to spend time with you guys because i love you. and no scary movie is going to keep me from doing that."
she was reassured by the group of college guys that came in after her, with an athletic looking blond hanging back to stare at the film poster with a similar queasy look to the one that she was sporting.
"alright, let's get this over with. but if i barf up my popcorn, it's on you guys!"
they filed into the dark theatre, previews already beginning to play out on the big screen in front of them. their group of five took up most of the row, which, being in a small cinema, only held ten seats.
she sat in the middle, next to gloriously empty seat as she tried to steel herself for what was to come, with reminders to herself that it was all made from special effects, and she could walk out of that theater and into the real world whenever she wanted.
"is this seat taken?"
she look up and towards the soft speaker, who was using his phone flashlight to try and find his ticketed seat. it was the same blonde who had stopped to stare at the poster outside, and he looked a little pale in the face as he sat down next to her.
"not a fan of being scared?" she whispered, offering him some popcorn. "me neither."
"oh good. that means i'm not going to be the only one shaking like a baby." he laughed. "god, i would much rather have gone to see fucking joker or something."
"i wasn't given an option. they just told me that this is what was happening and i was invited if i wanted to. i'm y/n."
"logan."
"will you two be quiet?" the man behind them hissed. "some of us are trying to watch a movie.
logan shrugged, typing something on his phone before showing her the screen.
a movie that hasn't even started yet? i didn't realize that the advertisement for jackass was so interesting
"and turn your damn brightness down!"
y/n stifled a laugh as she watched logan pretend to give the guy the middle finger before slipping his phone into the pocket of his hoodie. the lights in the theater dimmed even further, the feature presentation beginning to unfold on screen.
to her credit, she lasted about half an hour before she jumped, knocking over her bag of popcorn and spilling some slippery buttery kernels into Logan’s lap. she was mortified, but the massage logan typed out on his phone reassured her that everything was fine.
it’s all good, squeeze my hand if u get 2 scared
no points for grammar, but five for being a sweetie.
naturally, it was logan who reached for her hand first, during a particularly gory on screen kill that had y/n squeezing her eyes shut and physically turning away from the screen while logan clutched her cold hand in his.
despite herself, she found Logan’s touch to be comforting. what did that say about her that a little scary movie had her seeking out comfort from strangers? (don’t tell her mother that or she would start singing the jamie walters song and everyone would be miserable) for a minute, she almost forgot that she’d come with a group of friends and was only reminded of that fact when one of them messaged her.
getting cozy over there? see, horror flicks are a great place to pick up guys! just make sure his favourite isn’t american psycho.
she giggled, looking over at her friend, who flashed her a thumbs up before turning back to the screen. that scene had long since passed, but logan continued to hold her hand, and she could feel his muscles tense as a scare drew nearer and nearer on the big screen.
she squeezed his hand reassuringly, only to be clutching it in terror moments later, one hand clapped over her mouth to stifle a scream. Logan reached over her body, almost as if he was gallantly and protectively trying to shield her body with his own.
she was going to fall in love with him at this rate if she wasn’t careful.
the movie finished, winding down in a way that much much calmer, if not eerie compared to what they had seen throughout the course of the film. she was relieved to see the end credits roll, although displeased at the idea of leaving logan behind.
she followed her friends out of the cinema, dropping her empty popcorn container in the trash as she went.
"y/n!" a voice called after her.
she paused, turning around to see logan standing just near the door. she glanced back at her friends, smiling when she saw their excited faces, gesturing wildly towards logan.
she walked up to the blonde, hands tucked nervously in the pockets of her flannel coat.
"hey," she started, rocking back and forth on her heels
"hey." logan grinned, scratching at the beck of his neck. "so, i think you're really cute." just out of her range of vision, she could see logan's friends standing behind him, sticking their thumbs up and whistling in encouragement. "and i was wondering if you wanted to go and get a coffee with me?"
she beamed, looking back to her friends for approval, one last time.
"i would love to. after all, you were my protector in there."
logan smiled. "is now okay with you? there's a little place in the plaza just across the way."
"sounds perfect."

Home : bat!family x bat!sister
Summary: no one gets to offend my siblings and father. No one but me. I'll make sure of it.
***
Maybe it was a bad idea to apply for that Erasmus program and leave her brothers and adoptive father alone for whole three months. Sure, studying abroad, expanding knowledge, learning language and customs was an amazing experience, but it came with the cost. The price of being in fear that her family would get themselves in trouble, pain, fight they could not recover from.
The first two weeks of her adventure was the worst, since she was waking up at most random night hours, ready to jump into fight, those vigilantes instincts and habits kicking in.
Those were the nights when she was turning and tossing in her bed unable to close an eye and in result sneaking out her dorm room and walk around the campus like the ghost. The quietness and peacefulness of her surroundings at the academy were so different from those she knew in Gotham, it was almost disturbing.
There was no denying that Y/N was the smartest in the family, even Tim admitted it once (obviously not while talking to her, but she overheard his conversation with Bernard) but at times like this she was second-guessing her choices.
Due to her specific upbringing and family background she also never managed to form any deep connection with her fellow students, preferring to stay by herself, focus on the task and putting a lot of work into expanding her knowledge and skills in technology. She never complained, but from other people’s perspective she was an eremite. Kind, polite with perfect manners when someone asked her for something or while working in group, but still highly reserved. Just like her adoptive father, whose relation to she was trying to keep a secret. And it worked up to the day when one of the lecturers accidentally called her “Miss Wayne” in front of the whole class. The second he did it the air in the auditorium froze. She might have been in different country, but for God’s sake she was studying technology, of course everyone heard about the Wayne Enterprises and the Bruce Wayne.
“You’re his daughter?” one of the boys in the lower row turned around and eyed her suspiciously
“Yes. Adoptive one.”
“Of course. He’s well known for taking kids in, right? Seems like some sort of complex or maybe even a disease” he smirked and it made the girl clench her fist. Her relationship with Bruce might have been rocky, but no one except her and her brothers were allowed to judge and offend him.”
“Care to elaborate on that?” she hissed, eyeing the guy with ice cold gaze
“Miss Y/L/N! Mister Olsen! Please calm down and sit down!” the teacher tried to make up for his mistake but it was far too late for that.
“You misspelled my name once, might as well keep calling me Wayne now.” the tone of her voice matched the gaze. She was not going to let the guy easily, but getting in trouble with the dean was not a part of her plan. “Now, can we continue with the lecture? I don’t know about anyone else in her, but speaking for myself I would love to actually learn something useful.”
***
Y/N was the middle child. Younger than Dick and Jason, older than Tim and Damian which placed her literally halfway in the family. Because of that she was a mix of responsibility and carelessness, doing her own thing, not always the right way, but still capable of getting away with a lot more than the others. Not as family oriented as Dick, feeling a bit overshadowed by Jason, highly competitive with Tim and more independent and individualistic than Damian. Still, even despite her “boss bitch” attitude, she was sandwiched between her brothers which made her the best negotiator and mediator in the family. Y/N also had a strong sense of fairness and morality and would always try her best to do the right things. Objectively, not subjectively. And making fun of her family was not one the things she could forget. However, before taking any action she had to gather intel, figure out what the guy knew and then come right at him.
***
Waiting till the end of the class was probably the greatest torture she ever had to endure, every minute stretching into infinity and when it was over the sense of relief almost made her drop the plan. Almost.
“I’m not done with you, Olsen.” she was faster to the door, stopping her potential victim from getting away.
“You want more, Wayne?”
“Please. Hit me with your best shot. What is your problem with my family, exactly?”
“Let me think” he tapped his chin. “There are so many. Like for instance, your oldest brother. What was his name again? Oh, right! Dick. Suits him quite well, doesn’t it. A prick, if you ask me. Definitely a show-off with no skills.” He scoffed “Shall I continue?”
“ Please. You got like three more people to gossip about.”
“The second in line, Jason, right? Oh, the unhinged one. Violent, mocking, thinking he is better than anyone else around, when in reality he’s just a lost, scared child. Probably a dumbass too.”
“Pretty sure he would agree with that. Now what about Tim and Damian?”
At this point Olsen was getting a bit surprised that the girl in front of him was still unfazed. Her calmness, a sign of silent inside fury making him slightly uncomfortable. Not enough to stop however.
“Drake…..” the name rolled of his tongue while the boy was wondering what words to choose “oh, he’s the gay one, right? Such a shame that the renowned Wayne family has someone like that as a member. Bet your father would never take him in, if he knew. A fairy becoming the next CEO of his renowned company. How ironic!”
“Hm.” Oh, Y/N was so much like Bruce at times and it showed in the least expected moments.
Damn that girl! How could it not make her angry?
“And …… Damian, the only biological child. Absolutely maladjusted and unaware of social norms and boundaries. Tell me, how was it like to have your youngest brother violate your boundaries and personal space?”
“It was. ….educatory. Just like it was with everything you just said. You presented yourself as someone with some serious psychological issues and possibly an unhealthy interest in my family’s life. So thank you, it truly was illuminating.”
***
“What the hell did you do Y/N?” a very alerted Dick appeared on the other side of the screen
“I have no idea what you are talking about.” The girl sighted and fell onto the cushions bringing the computer onto her lap to see her brother better
“Don’t lie to me now, sis.”
“I wouldn’t even dream of it.”
“Bruce has been on the phone for the last fifteen minutes and from what I figured it’s about something that happened on the campus.”
“The only thing happening on the campus are students who skip classes.” She mumbled “maybe except that one time when one of the boys lost some stupid bet and blew up the fountain as some sort of punishment. That was funny.”
A little grunt was heard on Dick’s side and for a second he disappeared from the screen.
“Dick?”
“Sorry, I had a little interruption.” He rubbed his forehead “Now, back onto what you did…..”
“Did you say that someone blew the fountain?” third face appeared on the screen in the corner, taking over the conversation.
“Hello, Jason.”
“Hi sis. Maybe I should have joined you in your academic career. Seems like you have a lot of fun there. Besides, I never really finished school, since you know…. I died.”
“We know.” Y/N and Dick said in unison
“Always a good opportunity to remind you, right?” he grinned “Now, sis, tell me, how was it going full rogue on fellow student? I gotta admit I’m proud of you here.”
“So that’s what this is about?” Dick’s eyes grew wider than ever “I;m gonna ask you once again, Y/N. what did you do?”
“Nothing permanent.”
“What…..?”
“Cut her some slack, Grayson.”
“Look who decided to join us.” Y/N smirked “improved your computer skills much, Damian?”
“I got tired of being left out.”
“Since when do you care about the group?”
“Leverage, sis. Knowledge is power, I thought you knew that.”
“Ok, that is enough!” Dick finally lost his patience “I’m trying to have a conversation with my little sis here. Both of you, get out of the line!”
“Mhm, keep dreamin’ Dickhead.”
“For once I agree with Todd.”
“You have no right to…..”
“Guys…..” Y/N tried to mitigate them, but deep inside she enjoyed their bantering. It was a while since she experienced it and only now realized how familiar it was.
“I was here first!” Dick yelled “And I’m the oldest”
“No one cares Grayson! You are a Bludhaven resident now. Just because you visit the manor does not mean you can keep Y/N busy using the wayne’s devices!”
“Don’t you have someone to kill in the crime alley, Jay?”
“Unlike you, I succeeded in all my latest missions.”
“Is that what you call coming back to your safe house bloodied and injured. You were on the verge of death!” Damian smirked “you were absolutely inept, that’s not a success.”
“You were what, now?!” Y/N shrieked. Her second oldest brother was sometimes too careless.
“It was not that bad, Y/N, I swear. And how the fuck do you know about it, demon?”
“I have my ways.”
“I would suspect Drake of spying on me, but you?”
“Speaking of the devil, I’m surprised Tim hasn’t already join us.” Dick muttered
“Oh, he did.” Y/N pointed out
“WHAT?” her brothers cried. Now there was another one fighting for her attention and it was not a secret that Tim was her favorite making the situation harder.
“I did.” Tim chuckled “Well, to tell the truth Y/N let me in the channel. We have our ways with technology. Something none of you could ever fully understand. “
“Of course not….”
“Cheer up, Dami. You can’t monopolize all the areas.”
“I would beg to differ.”
“Ok, everyone hold up here. I think we lost the point of the conversation. The thing was that Bruce was on the phone, probably taking to the dean about….”
“Y/N played a little prank on her classmate, is that right?” of course Tim was the one who everything best.
“He deserved it.”
“Y/n…..”
“Stop using the big brother voice on me! It’s not going to work!”
“How about we use Damian’s youngest one?” Dick teased
“I refuse to be used in this….”
“SHUT UP DAMIAN!” Dick and Jason shouted together and shared a murderous look between one another. Now they were both desperate to find out what happened since Tim would rather die than spill the bean. It was infuriating. They were the older brothers! This had to mean something.
“Ok, that’s it.” Damian stood up and the view of the empty chair in the place where his face should be was highly disturbing.
“That is not good.” Y/N said out loud something that all of them already knew. Her presumptions turned out to be right a second later when the shouting and yelling reverberated through the speakers and a blur of black and green rushed into Dick’s room.
“hey, I want to join the fight too!” Jason started up and with a speed, Wally West could be jealous of involved in the mix of limbs and screams.
“Wait! I though Dick was in Bludhaven! Tim?”
“Not today. We’re all in the manor.”
“And you idiots were talking to me through four different computers?”
“Are you actually surprised?”
“On second thought, not at all.” She sighed. It’s a good thing you are the reasonable one here…..”
“There you are, Timmy” now the situation has turned as it was Dick who appeared in the door of Tim’s bedroom “you are not getting out of this. If you want Y/n to yourself you have to fight me.”
“And me!” Jason tackled Dick to the ground with a loud thump
“Losers!” Damian jumped over their bodies and came right at Tim
Because of their actions, Y/N was the only one who noticed two men stepping from the shadows and exchanging some words. Apparently Bruce wasn’t capable of putting the boys in their places and asked Alfred to try this instead. And a single grunt from the butler did a miracle as all of them stood up and started explaining and apologizing. Funny as it was, Y/N knew that with Bruce’s arrival she was heading straight towards preaching from her father.
“Y/N.”
“Hello Bruce.”
“Did you break his arm?”
“You broke his arm?” Dick was halfway out but turned back immediately
“No.” Y/n shook her head “I broke his arm and hurt his legs.”
“Don’t forget that you also demolished his dorm room.”
“That wasn’t me. That was….”
“Did you go at him as a vigilante? Wow! Way to go, sis. Now I truly am proud of you.”
“Ok, both of you, out!” Bruce lost the rest of his patience pushing Dick and Jay away. “Now that we are alone…….” he sighed deeply closing the door tight
“I;m not sorry.”
“Oh, I know. And I’m not mad, because I’m sure you had a reason to do it. So tell me, why?”
“you…. you want to know ?”
“Of course. Look Y/n, I’m aware I won’t get a father of the year cup from you, but I care all right? Did that boy hurt you and you took retaliation? Just tell me….”
“He was talking shit about our family.”
“And you felt the urge to protect the Wayne’s honor?” Bruce smirked “this is so not like you.”
“Honor, my ass. We’ve lost that ages ago, Bruce. The only thing I was protecting was my sole privilege of mocking you. No one else is allowed to do it.”
“I’ll be sure not to tell your brothers that you miss them. “
“That would be most welcome.”
“And you have to know that we don’t miss you either, y/n.” father and daughter’s gazes met and they both nodded in silent agreement, right corners of their mouths lifting almost unnoticeable. “You coming to visit next week?”
***
Something was wrong.
Something was terribly wrong and that tingling sensation became unbearable the second she climbed the manor’s stairs and reach for the doorknob with a heartrate so fast it would send anyone else straight into cardiac arrest. Y/N however kept her cold blood, focusing on what may happened inside and considering her options and strategies for a potential fight.
She could not expect that the moment she opened the door four figures would jump out from the shadows making the noise that would bring the dead from behind the grave. It startled her and as a result she stumbled back, hitting the wardrobe and making it shake. She could not expect that on said wardrobe there would be packets and packets of paint and that those would fall down straight on her making her look like some abstractionism painting.
“I hate you all.” She muttered while her brothers run away in four different directions.
“Welcome home, miss Y/N” Alfred approached her with a tissue so she could at least wipe the paint from her eyes.
“Home.” She whispered “Yes, it definitely feels like it.”
It was good to be back.
But she was still going after them. .....
Later. When they would least expect it.

“You shou— talk to ‘im—” your friend slurs, giggling as you help her sit down on your couch. You laugh a little as she falls from your grip and spreads out comfortably on the sofa beneath her. “Look, he’s looking!” she yells a little too loudly and points.
You shush her, carefully moving her hand to her lap before looking to where she had been pointing. Your neighbour had been looking from his window into yours for a little bit, smirking a little when he finally notices you looking back. He’s doing dishes in the sink, and it gives you the idea to get your friend some water.
“He’s been giving you fuck me eyes f-for weeks! Every time I come over he’s always—”
“Maybe you shouldn’t point and make it so obvious, babe.” you laugh, handing a glass full of water to her. “He’s just being friendly. Besides, I’m not really ready to date or anything yet. I’m just having fun hanging out with my bestie.” you tease her, nudging her with your elbow.
She pouts, eyes filling with water before she hugs you. She’s always been an emotional drunk, and soon enough she’s confessing how much she adores you and what a perfect best friend you are.
“Do you have any snacks? Wan’ some chocolate.” she tells you. You shake your head. “Ugh. Ooooh! You should go ask hot guy if he has any!” she suggests, kicking her feet and giggling all the while.
You look elsewhere. In the direction of hot guy. But he’s not at the window anymore. He’s probably in bed, it is pretty late. You hadn’t expected to be getting home after midnight from your cousins wedding given that you aren’t really that close. But bringing your best friend as a plus one extended the time you spent there.
There was an open bar.
“I’ll go to the store. What kind of chocolate do you want?” you ask.
“Surprise me.” she smiles. “Thaaaaank youuuuuu~!” she speaks in a sing-song voice.
“Don’t burn my apartment down while I’m gone.” you warn her, pretending to scowl at her before you laugh at yourself. She nods, eyes fluttering closed as her body sinks further and further into the couch.
You grab your keys and head out of the front door. If you were smart, you would have ordered dessert. There’s no way you should be leaving the safety of your apartment so late and stepping out into the city. But it’s just around the corner, that’s what you’re telling yourself. Nothing bad can happen to you if you just hurry.
As you reach the bottom floor, you recognise the man standing by the mailboxes near the entrance to your apartment building. He hasn’t noticed you, though, and why would he? He’s occupied sifting through the letters in his hands. You take a shallow breath, mentally preparing yourself for the dangers of going outside.
He raises his head as he smells your perfume when you walk by.
You gasp, feeling his hand dig into the flesh of your upper arm before he pulls you closer to him. It’s hard to even figure out what your thoughts are as you feel your back connect with rows of metal mailboxes. And before you can greet him, his lips are on yours.
You smile into the kiss, a hand cups your face as he presses his body a little harder into yours. He smiles back when he hears a soft little moan escape you at the feeling of being trapped against him. A sound from a higher floor frightens you, you turn your head and move away from him.
“Sorry, I thought my friend might be—”
“Hey,” he grabs your wrist and makes you face him. “You’re too ashamed being seen with me?” he smiles a little, teasing you. You smile back, shaking your head in protest.
“No it’s not that!” you tell him. “I better get going, though. She’s drunk and wants some chocolate.”
“You’re not going out on your own.” he speaks. It’s commanding, his voice filled with care and concern and it makes you weak at the knees. “Do you know that you can order snacks?”
“Uh, no, I've never heard of that.” you roll your eyes and speak sarcastically, earning a laugh from him.
“Maybe you should come upstairs with me, and I’ll show you how to do it.” he tells you, approaching you again. Your voice gets trapped in your throat as he looks down at you, and you find yourself nodding before even thinking about your answer. He smiles, though, kissing you deeply at your response. A sweet sort of praise for delivering an answer he’s happy to hear.
He takes your hand, guiding you up to his apartment.
“Done.” he smiles, putting his phone down on the counter. “I ordered pizza and your friend’s chocolate.”
“Perfect, thank you, Rin.” you thank him, “It’ll probably be a while… what shall we do in the meantime?”
“You know…” he starts, closing the gap between you. “I’ve really missed you all day.”
“Yeah? Ah—!” your voice gets caught in your throat as you feel him pick you up with ease. You wrap your legs around his waist and your arms around his neck as he carries you. You’ve missed him, too. You’ve never put a label on whatever this is. But as far as you’re concerned, it’s just fun. It’s easy. And it’s good.
He is good.
He sits on the couch with you straddling him. A little groan leaves his lips as yours stray to kiss down the column of his neck. His hips roll up, the outline of his cock rubs into your wanting core. His eyes are glued to you as your kisses descend his body, and he curses himself for not throwing away his sweater before picking you up.
It doesn’t matter though, not when you’re resting between his knees with your hands pawing at his cock. Your eyes are full, wanton whimpers filling every breath you take as you do all you can to quickly undo his belt.
“Can I give you head, baby?” you ask, helping remove his cock from the confines of his jeans. He nods, eagerly, his fingers stroking your scalp through your hair as encouragement.
You’re salivating when his dick is revealed in all of its perfect glory. Flushed pink and pretty and throbbing with lust. An unyielding desire to feel your mouth around it. You lick at the oozing pearlescent pre gathering at his slit. The moan he emits at the feeling rushes straight to your cunt. Your hand flies under your dress and beneath your sopping panties, Rin’s cheeks fill with a pink tint at the sight. He hadn’t expected you to touch yourself, his ego climbs heights he hadn’t thought possible at your overzealous act.
“Baby, please… please suck my cock.” he begs. You nod, mewling as you sink your mouth entirely onto him. “F-uck. Good girl, such a good girl.” he groans. You feel his hand cup your face, angling your vision so that your watery eyes are focused on him. He sees the pleasure building in you as you stare back at him.
Your little fingers aren’t enough to satiate the burning need pulsating at your core. But seeing Rin’s facial expressions are more than enough to keep you motivated. You want to make him proud. You want to make him cum. You take his cock entirely down your throat, and pride fills your body when he throws his head back.
He looks down at you, and he bites at his lower lip as you suck and choke around his length, tears spilling over your lash line as you take him more and more.
“Fuck, baby, you like this?” he asks, and you nod without hesitation. He thrusts his hips and fucks into your face until you’re choking on him. His hand grips into your hair and forms a makeshift ponytail as he continues to pound into your mouth like you’re his own personal fuck toy. He pulls you away reluctantly, giving you a chance to breathe. Though that isn’t why he did it. He wants to hear how good you feel. He wants to study the tears welling at your eyes. “You’re such a cute slut for me… cryin’ for my cock? Fucking adorable.” he grins.
You sob, unable to stop yourself. You rest your hands on his thighs as you sniffle, allowing him the time to really enjoy how pathetic and desperate you are.
“Love making you feel good…” you speak, shyly. “I—”
You don’t get the chance to speak anymore when he forces you back down on his cock. His eyes are heavy and filled with lust as he carries on rutting his hips into your face. You can’t stop yourself from twirling your fingers through his dark pubes. It’s the only thing keeping you grounded in reality as the feeling of his cock entirely takes over every synapse in your brain.
It’s unrelenting. He can’t stop himself as the tears continue to fall. Fat tears rolling without end down your hollowed cheeks. He batters his length into your drooling mouth, a mixture of spit and pre rolling down your chin and coating his balls as he repeatedly slams himself in and out. His thick length clogs your airways with each thrust. He can’t believe the pretty, lewd noises leaving you as you do your best to take him. The sputtering doesn’t cease, and knowing he’s so big that you can’t help but gag is making him mad with lust.
He holds your head with both of his large hands, keeping you in place as he fucks his length down your throat.
“Fuck, fuck, baby. Take it, ‘m cumming.” he warns you, a loud grunt following as ropes of tangy white cream spurt down your throat before you can barely get a taste. You show him your empty mouth, and he kisses your forehead in response. You hear your phone buzz, your head turning to acknowledge the sound. But he pulls you back, lifting you onto his lap before standing up with you in his hold. “I got carried away.” he kisses your lips.
“No it’s okay, I had fun.” you smile, kissing him back.
“You make me fucking crazy. Crying like that, over my cock? You’re so sweet.” he tells you, kissing you again. “Have you always been such a cry baby? I like it, a lot.” he whispers before kissing lovingly along your neck. You roll your eyes, kissing him and giggling against his lips. Before you can answer you hear your phone buzz again,
“Sorry, I should check that.” you tell him. He sets you down and tucks his cock back into his underwear and jeans. You smile when you feel him hug you from behind, kissing him before checking your texts.
Bestie 💖: are u still at the shop? hot boy has a gf :( i can see him getting a blowy through the window Bestie 💖: ugh they look so cute i hate her, i rly thought he liked you!!
Your blood runs cold as you feel the vibration of another text coming through. Rin smiles, tucking his head into your neck to offer a calming kiss while you read your texts together.
Bestie 💖: OH MY GOD YOU BITCH! IT’S YOU! YOU FUCKING BITCH!
You reluctantly look up, and Rin does the same. You see your best friend standing by the window with a shocked expression on her face. She holds her phone up and takes quick picture as you and Rin wave at her through the window. You look down to see a notification from her, the picture is now available for your whole Snapchat group chat to see.
“I gotta remember to close my blinds at night.” he laughs.

last forever [2/13]
Summary: Zoro only offered to marry you to keep you out of an arranged marriage with a man much older than you. You agreed with the caveat of ending it via annulment once you received word from your parents regarding the original engagement, despite your growing feelings for your close friend.
Pairing: Zoro x Fem!reader, mentioned Sanami later (like epilogue later so chill)
Warnings: Marriage of Convenience, Fake Marriage, referenced sex (waaaaaay later on), mutual pining, Zoro is bad at feelings but what's new there, eventual romance I promise, mention of past attempted assault (I'll warn in that chapter), creepy older dude later on
Note: Why yes I did write this after watching OPLA, why do you ask?
[Ch. 1]
Of course, it just had to be a crazy clown that was your next opponent. You didn't fear clowns but you didn't like them terribly much either, so being up against Buggy the Clown and his crew of pirates was making this day worse for you.
First, Luffy had been snatched away by a freaking bird that he tried to catch and turn into food (how he expected to cook it, you had no idea). You and Zoro quickly followed after, not even stopping to properly pick up the men you found in the middle of the ocean who were calling for help. Even when they tried to rob you, the glares the two of you gave and the slight beating from Zoro, once they realized who he was, the three men you picked up took over the rowing and brought you to Orange Town.
Once you found him, Luffy had already been thrown into a cage by Buggy, Zoro making an attempt to dice the clown who only proved he was perfectly fine afterwards, stabbing Zoro instead. After practically jumping from the rooftop with him still in the cage, the girl gave the key up, before it was swallowed by a little dog. The mayor of the town appeared before you next and you asked for a place to treat Zoro's stab wound and where he could rest, Mayor Boodle taking you all to his house.
"I don't need you to treat it, I'll sleep it off."
Zoro nearly flinched at the glare you set on him, making him take his shirt off so you could see the wound better.
"Sleep it off, what a load of crock," Shaking your head, you threaded a needle and sterilized it with a match, "You know that's not how you heal from stab wounds, dummy."
As you started stitching the wound, Zoro watched you closely like he always did. You'd done this so many times at this point, having been terrified of giving him stitches at first, until the worst wound you'd seen him get. He wasn't anywhere near close to bleeding out from it, but after an hour of it still bleeding, you forced him back onto the hotel bed and started stitching him up, pushing away your fears and the tears that you felt welling up as you did so. When you had finished, Zoro was impressed and thanked you, making you smile before you burst into tears over the whole thing.
"What are you crying for?!"
"I…I've never…done that before!"
He'd never have guessed you hadn't done stitches before, but your work never tore, he took it upon himself to remove them when you said it was safe to do. He didn't want you to start crying again.
After that you stitched up any severe wounds he had, just as you were doing at that moment.
"Okay," you cut the thread and finally nodded once you were done, "Now you can sleep. Don't do anything to tear the stitches though."
"Fine."
You put your items away while Zoro laid down, telling him you were going to see if you could help get Luffy out of the cage and ask about this other girl if she was joining you all or not. Before you left, you gave him another glare.
"You better stay still and sleep."
"I will, trust me on that."
Satisfied, you finally left and Zoro smiled to himself before falling asleep.
Not so bad having her as a wife.
+!+
Your hope that you'd all get out of Orange Town without a fight was gone as you stood in front of Cabaji with your own sword drawn. You had told (yelled at) Zoro to go back to resting instead of bothering to fight this acrobat, turning it into an argument between the two of you.
Zoro believed he was completely fine and could fight, despite you noticing the small winces of pain every now and then. Still though, he wouldn't listen to you and attempted several times to move you out of the way so he could fight.
It angered you more than anything, and you finally turned around and glared at him, Zoro more so thinking it was almost cute rather than scary like you thought it'd be.
"Gosh, why the hell are you such a stubborn man?!"
"Says the equally stubborn woman!"
Luffy watched the two of you, amused at how you acted like you really were a married couple despite you saying it wasn't a real marriage. He was starting to not believe you.
Zoro, on the other hand, was getting more frustrated with you as you placed yourself between him and Cabaji, who watched you two in annoyance at the fact neither of you were fighting him, but were fighting each other.
Get a room geez.
"I don't need you fighting battles for me!"
"You're still injured, you oaf!" You screeched back at Zoro, not stopping an attack from the annoyed Cabaji in time. He threw a kick into your side, sending you towards a building. You only stopped and didn't fly right into the building thanks to Zoro moving quickly enough to stop you, grabbing you around the waist to keep you from hitting anything but him.
"You all right?" He was quiet, but the look on his face told you he was angry. At you or Cabaji, you weren't sure, but you nodded. You'd always felt his bandana made him look scarier when he was in battle, but the way he looked at you this time, despite the anger, was more like he was worried about you, maybe. Zoro would probably never admit such a thing to you if you asked.
You were in pain, hissing a slight bit when Zoro set you down. You figured it was just going to be some bruising, nothing to worry about, even though it hurt at that moment.
Zoro made sure you were safe, before standing back up and setting the harshest glare you'd seen from him yet on Cabaji.
"Don't you dare touch my wife again."
Never had you felt like someone was fighting for you or your honor before then. The fact Zoro willingly called you his wife, that stuck in your head on repeat while you watched him fight and defeat Cabaji, moving past your own pain to hurry over and protect him as he fell asleep again. Of course he'd claim he was healing no problem that was, but you still wanted him to be safe while Luffy defeated Buggy.
Luckily Luffy carried him off to your ship as the townspeople chased you off for a misunderstanding, and you could breathe easily to know you all were safe, the orange haired girl named Nami joining you temporarily.
After you checked Zoro's stitches and for any other wounds, you were surprised by Nami offering you to sit with her in the boat she'd stolen, so you didn't have to be alone with two boys. You took her up on it, and she pulled you close to whisper.
"Hey…Zoro called you his wife…is he legit?"
Your face turned bright red, having already forgotten that because of your quick escape from the town. He really had then, it wasn't just you hearing things.
Was that progress? Would things slowly change and develop for the two of you, could you live as a married pirate couple one day? Have kids even?
Were you getting ahead of yourself? Definitely, considering he'd only said it once and likely wasn't thinking, your assumption due to the possible pain he was still in, even though he would deny it instantly if you even started to ask.
"Umm, hello," Nami snapped her fingers in front of your face, making you shake your head and ask her to repeat what she said, "I asked if Zoro was being honest when he said you were his wife."
You blinked a few times, before finally smiling slightly. "Well…technically, yes, he's being honest."
Nami didn't let you go back to the boys the rest of your ride to the next island, demanding every detail despite you only knowing each other for a few hours.
It looked like you had a new best friend.
+!+
The events in Syrup Village led to your recruitment of a new member, Usopp, and being given the Going Merry as your first, real ship as a crew. You and Nami spent time learning how the ship worked, Usopp eventually joining you and telling stories that you may have known right off the bat weren't entirely truthful. You did enjoy them though, laughing through them during dinner that night alongside Luffy.
"Soooo," leaning over, you gave Usopp a grin, "Kaya huh? That was a nice little kiss there."
Nami burst into a laugh at how wide Usopp's eyes got, before he started stammering and trying to say something, you grinning even more and asking him what it was like to get a kiss.
"Never had one before so I wouldn't know."
"I…it…nice…it was nice…"
You and Nami started doting on Usopp over it, telling him how he could always write to Kaya and keep in touch that way. The romance talk flew over Luffy's head but he still talked about how nice Kaya was and how tough Kuro had been, while Zoro got more annoyed as it went on, eventually leaving the table after he finished his drink and stepping outside, which you did notice right away.
Downing the last of your own bit of wine, you excused yourself from your friends, heading to the deck and finding Zoro there, leaned against the railing with his eyes closed. Normally you'd assume he was sleeping, but since it'd only been about a minute and you knew he didn't sleep standing up (wouldn't have surprised you though), you knew he was still awake and would talk to you.
"Hey," you joined Zoro against the rail, making him look at you and nod slightly while you tilted your head, "What'd you leave for?"
"Tired."
"Why aren't you in bed then?"
"Who can sleep with all the laughing?"
"Oh please, you almost slept through a tornado once."
"Shut up."
You rolled your eyes but smiled, deciding to look out at sea and watch the waves that gently rocked the ship. You'd anchored for the night in the middle of the sea, Nami placing you on the first watch of the night since you said you weren't tired while most everyone else was. You didn't mind, it'd give you some alone time to watch the stars and think, to enjoy being by yourself as you so rarely got to do lately.
"Have you heard from your parents?"
Zoro's question made you shake your head, him sighing once you did. You'd not gotten a single letter from them, your carrier bird only bringing newspapers from home so you could keep up on how things were going that didn't involve your arranged marriage.
You wondered if they even got your first letter at all at this point.
"Not a thing…only newspapers from home.
"Mm."
"They've still got my picture in it as if I've been kidnapped."
"Maybe they didn't get your letter and the papers."
You shrugged, biting your lip. You wanted to say something about it, tell him you didn't want to do the annulment even if your parents wrote back that the arranged marriage was over, that they accepted your current marriage. You'd rather stay married to him, try a relationship before signing any papers, but you also knew that saying anything like that would likely cause Zoro to shut you out, or tell you how he didn't want to be in a relationship, he didn't want to be married whether he knew of your feelings or not.
He'd probably never return your feelings and you'd have wasted your time instead of just doing the annulment, or divorce if your six months passed without a letter.
But, maybe, you could just tell him how you felt right then, see what his thoughts were and go from there.
Maybe.
"Zoro, I–"
"I'm going to bed. Just let me know when you hear anything."
"O-Oh, yeah…sure."
Once he left, you sighed and sunk to the ground, wishing you hadn't been such a coward at the moment and asked him to stay so you could actually talk to Zoro about the situation between the two of you. Granted yes, things had moved quickly since you joined Luffy, but still. There were a few times you should have sat down and talked, but every time you wanted to, Zoro was doing something or sleeping. At this rate you figured you'd never get things settled with him.
"Hey, you good?" Usopp popped up beside you, throwing an arm around your shoulders while you just nodded, not saying a word. He didn't fully believe you, taking note of the slight sadness on your face, before he smiled. "Have I told you about the giant sea monster that attacked my village?"
"Don't think so."
"Oh it was a huge beast! At least forty, no fifty feet!"
The rest of your night was spent laughing at more of Usopp's stories on the deck, enjoying yourself and forgetting your worries for the time being.
Zoro had, however, turned back to go talk to you about your sham marriage before he went to bed. The two of you never properly spoke about it after leaving the town you'd married in, but he was sure that you had feelings for him from the way you acted at times. Overly concerned with his well being, you forcing him to rest in Orange Town, the glances you'd take every now and then too. Everything pointed to you having developed feelings for him, and Zoro didn't want that right now.
He didn't want distractions from his goals and didn't want you distracted from yours. He had to put a stop to your feelings then and there, even if all it ended up being was a pause on your end.
He didn't expect, though, for you to be laughing with Usopp when he made it back to the deck, choosing to watch you for a moment. You smiled and laughed again, shoving Usopp on the arm while he grinned and made a large gesture with his hands, likely an exaggeration in whatever story he was telling you. Zoro didn't know why he had such a tight feeling in his chest seeing this, but it was enough for him after a few minutes of neither of you noticing him. He turned around and returned to his hammock, trying to ignore the annoyance he felt when Usopp and Luffy came into the room, Usopp mentioning how fun you were to talk to.
I'm not jealous. Not at all.

Can you do more of x men reader (ex they find reader fighting a sentinel?) The first one is amazing, by the way 👏
I apologize i took like half a year to answer but here we are! I absolutely love the idea and thank you for requesting to make this happen :)
Intangibility : incapable of being touched : having no physical existence : not tangible or corporeal.
---------------------------------------
There's no way out for you now for sure. Well maybe there is but whatever. The sentinel just stood there waiting for you to move or try anything, but you were frozen in fear. You can't just stand there forever?! Trying to look for a way the sentinel makes it move to attack you, but it's hand goes right through you. You're glad your mutation is too rare for Trask to know about it, his unknowledge of it just saved your goddamn life!
"Prime, are you seeing this!? One of the decepticons has gone wild and attacking civilians!"
"We'll deal with it, agent fowler. Autobots, roll out!"
You heard a weird noise, but you don't have the time to process it when it's your life on the line. Tears of panic bubbling your eyes made it hard to see, you can't stay in this form for too long. You try to move and change form but the sentinel is still trying to kill you. No long after a loud noise and electric cracking was heard. "Killing humans is new for the decepticons... Are you okay, human?" Looking up you see a new robot with more colour and an actual face. "Scared but alive and unharmed." It's foolish for you to do this, but you change your existence back to normal. Now you just realized. There is big. Ass. Robots. In front of you, in panic your mutation went off. "You won't kill me right. Like the sentinels?" The robot raised a metal brow. "Sentinels? That's a new decepticon i've never heard off." Decepticons? The hell is that? "Sir, sentinels are human technology, made to destroy mutants..not whatever you just said."
Feeling safe enough you turn back to normal and glance at the robots in front of you. "You're not from earth, aren't you?" The bots look at you with almost worry in their optics. "The secrets safe with me. I'm hiding from the government as well. Go Team hiders, i guess."
Optimus Prime
He didn't even know mutants are a thing on earth.
He took you under his "wings" since you're hiding for your own life and treats you like one of his own.
Is actually amazed of your mutation and shares his thoughts on it to you.
He knows it's a big threat if the decepticons find out about you or your mutation, if that happens, you will be kept in base 24/7
Questions humanitys acts to kill every mutant possible. They're an unique thing among humans.
Doesn't like you showing off your mutation of asking anyone of the bots to try and kick you, but the concern he had vanished, the moment wheeljacks ped went through you.
If you find any other mutants they sadly can't stay at the base, but he's glad you understand.
Talks to Agent Fowler about the sentinels and killing of decent human beings, but is actually sad if nothing changes in the government
Ratchet
Is annoyed about a new human arriving to the base, but maybe you're not that bad he hopes.
Turns out you're his new favorite the moment he finds your presence calming and actually nice.
I hope you know when to be quiet. Ratchet likes his quite working time.
If you don't then you're getting treated like Miko for sure:)
You might get close to him like Raf! Father and Son right there :,)
He's glad he doesn't need to watch his step if you're the only "human" there.
You sad? Das not good, you get a first row view of ratchet working = You get to sit on his shoulder
Arcee
Wonders how in the hell you survived that sentinel until she sees your ability.
Doesn't worry about watching her step if you're the only 'human' there since you just vanish through her peds.
Her spark skips a beat if wheeljack tries to kick you more than once.
But does genuinely care about you so she watches her step atleast a little so you don't feel bad :)
Talks to you if you feel like an outcast since you're being hunted down by sentinels, because people think you're "dangerous"
Is actually a great listener and takes you for drives to thin about things.
NEW SIS!!!
Bumblebee
He would try and attack the sentinel just to protect you as a regural human, or so atleast he thought you were.
Was frightened how you thought the team was going to kill you :,)
If you feel sad he gives you comfort even if you don't understand him, he also gives great soft hugs <3
Mutation or not you're awesome!! He does want to learn about humans and mutants, but his voice box denies him from it. Raf is his translator and you're biggest helper then!
Still watches his steps no matter if you could dodge it
Bulkhead & Wheeljack
Bulkhead is confused as always, Wheeljack thinks it's pretty cool and ofc he wants proof. A little test of a kick won't hurt right? Of course it didn't, but gave everybot a spark attack <3
They wanted to wreck that sentinel so bad! Why kill other humans when they're devine?! Because humanity sucks
Bulkhead asks how do you live with it a lot of the times even if you have answered before. He's so confused that he doesn't even realize you can control it.
Won't stress about you tagging along to missions, but still follow optimus' command of not bringing humans to the battlefield (Rule is broken twice now!)
Wheeljack fights with Ultra Magnus about protocols just because he wanted to go for a drive with you and talk about both of your past
Smokescreen
Still thinks the sentinel is an decepticon, but no it is not :)
As always find your mutation cool and supports you through it all since he's so sweet and a lively young bot.
You're on duty to take you home or accompany you? ON IT SIR! Won't complain at all to be with a mutant. If he ever hears you've been laughed at he does wish to go and kick their asses! NOBODY BULLIES HIS COOLEST BESTIE EVER!!!
Hopes you like racing! He's a sports car ofc he goes fast!
Couldn't imagine being an outcast, but he doesn't think you are.
Almost screamed like a girl when wheeljack kicked you D:
Thought he fell in love when he saw you using your mutation, maybe he did, but we won't know?
Ultra Magnus
Stood next to Optimus looking at you with nothing, but a cold gaze. Stays in protocol, no soft talks or anything.
You know him, Protocol this protocol that so stay in line okay?
Might go soft on you JUST A LITTLE BIT!!Since you're situation is not that great. So you get to do few things more than Miko, Jack or Raf and get away with it.
Took all his frustration on Wheeljack when he tested you and tried to kick you D:
You feel sad? You will get a few supportive or couraging words nothing else.
He's not a good comforter, you know that right? But he does his best to help you. Tell Optimus about your situation if his help didn't do much.
-------------------------------------------------------
AN: GOD THIS TOOK A WHILE!!! SORRY FOR THE WAIT AND I DO HOPE YOU LIKE THIS!! It's 0.37 and I'm tired okay so the end might be a little bit rushed :,) BUT EVERYTHING ELSE ASIDE!!! ENJOY

Hey, not sure if you're down for writing a continuation of the “Megatron 'accidentally' adopting human Buddy who fears nothing” post. But there was a line “Rung has a line of bots that express the same worry for Buddy one day doing something dumb and not being able to come back from it.” that I think should be expanded upon. Dangerous things are constantly happening to the lost light crew and Buddy must have the devil's luck to come out of everything that happens unscathed. I'd like to see that luck run out. I'd like to see the crew panicking because Buddy got hurt badly and there's been no news if they'll recover or not. I want to see Megatron deal with the impending mortality of his newly adopted kid poorly. And I want to see everyone on the lost light panic even more because if Megatron doesn't start a war if this kid dies, Whirl absolutely will. P.s please let buddy live, I may crave angst, but not that much.
Have a good day, love your writing
Ooooh! Have you been peaking at some of my drafts? haha! I have been thinking about what would happen if Buddy ever got hurt on Megatron's watch. But now more bots are going to watch.
Hope you enjoy!
Megatron and Fearless Buddy who gets seriously hurt
SFW, familial, platonic, angst but happy ending, mention of injuries but nothing graphic or detailed, Human reader
MTMTE/LL
As we all know Buddy fears nothing
And this put some stress on their friends and new dad, Megatron.
“Hey Megs!”--Rodimus
“Rodimus, don’t call me that.”--Megatron
“Yeah, not gonna happen. Anyways I was wondering if you’ve seen Buddy anywhere. They were supposed to show me something?”--Rodimus
“Show you what?”--Megatron
“Something about being a present for being Brainstorm’s ‘Guinea pig’?”--Rodimus
Buddy flying by on a jet pack.
“Hi Roddy! Hi Megs! Bye Roddy! Bye Megs!”--Buddy
“…”—Rodimus and Megatron
CRASH!
Both mechs start running
But as time continues to go on, their little antics are just normalized. Sure, there are still some bots that know the true fragility of the human life span. Such bots included but not limited to Ratchet, First Aid, Velocity, Swerve, Rung, Megatron, and Whirl
“Where are you going with those pilars?”—First Aid
“It’s nothing illegal, yet.”--Buddy
“What type of answer is that!?”—First Aid
But for the most part the crew thinks Buddy is almost as durable as they are. Yes, even Megatron has been guilty of this type of behavior. He isn’t too proud of that.
“C’mon Fleshy jump and do a flip!”—Random Bot
“Bet—”--Buddy
“I think not.”--Whirl
“Whirl?!”--Buddy
“If you break your dumb fragile bones who else is going to come with me on planet expeditions? Cyclonus? I think not. He sucks out all the fun.”—Whirl
“I am literally right here.”--Cyclonus
So, let the angst begin.
The place was being invaded by space pirates.
The pirates where taking the bridge and had successfully barricaded themselves in.
“Why can’t we just break the door down?”--Buddy
“The main room has delicate equipment. One wrong move…”--Megatron
“Okay that’s a bad idea then.”--Buddy
“We just need an opening from the main door and we can figure out the rest.”--Rodimus
“Hey, I’m tiny enough to fit through the crack under the door. I can open the door!”--Buddy
“Absolutely not.”--Megatron
“For once I’m agreeing with him.”--Whirl
“Hey, its not like we have many options here. Unless someone else has a better idea then I am quite literally the only thing stopping these guys.”--Buddy
“…go then…”--Megatron
He was going to regret saying it like that. The computers dashboard in order to unlock the door or at least give it an opening. So, when they were sure that the aliens weren’t looking, they sprinted over to the console by swinging up with a grappling hook to the chair and began running towards the buttons.
They had indirectly activated the plasma screens.
These were holoscreens all over the ship that would show what was happening on the bridge. Everyone had a front row seat to Buddy sprinting across the console. There where cheers as Buddy was coming closer and closer to the button
“They made it!”--Rodimus
“Way to go Buddy!”--Tailgate
“Just press the button.”—Ultra Magnus
“That’s my Amica—”--Whirl
It was right there…
The alien came out of nowhere…
“EW! A Rat!”--Alien
“A ra—"--Buddy
They swatted Buddy across the room in one swift movement. They’re tiny body hurdling across the room and off screen. A small sickening crack was heard.
It was barely noticeable.
But it caused a deafening sound across the entire Lost Light.
Good news for the crew, Buddy’s shoe came off from the force of the hit and successfully pressed the button opening the door.
Everyone is lined up to take these aliens down.
Megatron and Whirl are at the forefront of it.
Megatron is trying to find Buddy while Whirl is absolutely destroying everything.
Megatron spots Buddy slumped over in the far corner of the room.
No motion, nothing
He is just frozen in place.
“Buddy…”--Megatron
“…”--Buddy
“Megatron! Move!”--Ratchet
Ratchet snaps him out of it as he is trying to help Buddy.
Megatron snaps out of it a cover him.
Buddy is rushed out an into the medbay.
Everyone is waiting.
The sudden gravity of Buddy’s mortality weighs heavily on the minds of everyone involved.
Megatron sulks in his room thinking about how he failed them. He can’t bear to sit by Buddy in the med bay. Ratchet understands and tells him that he when Buddy wakes up.
Whirl on the other hand, stays by Buddy’s bed side the entire time.
“Hey Tiny. It’s been a hot minute since you’ve open those little eyes… You mind opening them up?”--whirl
“…”--Buddy
“Fine be like that…”--Whirl
“…”--Buddy
“Well, you’ve missed a lot since you took that hit. One you have a ton of inner most energon by your room and a growing number of get-well gifts. I personally made sure none of you’re a secret bomb. Megs is still in his room and its giving everyone the creeps.”--Whirl
“…”--Buddy
“… Don’t tell this to anyone… but we miss you, you scared the ever living Pits out of us.”--Whirl
“…”--Buddy
Whirl has lost every good thing in his life. He is going to make sure that this one thing does go so soon.
Buddy does wake up
“Hye Whirly Bird?”--Buddy
“Buddy?!”--Whirl
“Why you looking at me like that? Someone died?”--Buddy
“You nearly did Tiny!”--Whirl
“But I didn’t, huh? It takes more than a hand to stop me.”--Buddy
“…I guess huh.”--Whirl
Megatron is zooming over when he hears. Buddy is trying to play off their injuries to try and keep the peace.
“Hey Megs.”--Buddy
“Buddy…”--Megatron
“You okay? You look like you’re dying.”--Buddy
“… that was a poor choice of words.”--Megatron
“Yeah I guess— woah, Megs?"—Buddy
Megatron gently holding Buddy’s hand the best he can
“Just let me hold you please, just a little bit.”--Megatron
“Sure Megs.”--Buddy
As they are recovering Buddy is treated with a bit more respect than they had before. Good thing too, they did after all manage to save the ship after all.

@dirtytransmasc put this idea in the world with their permission this was the story I wrote.
“Spider no.” Kiri says as her mother pulls her. “No let me go.” The girl says pushing against her mother. “Let me go, I can lose anyone else.”
Neytiri pulls her back putting her hands on her daughter’s shoulders. “Stay here above the water, I will get them back.”
“I don’t trust you.” Kiri hissed at her mother. She watches her mothers face fall into shame. “He saved my life and you still held the knife to his neck.”
“I know I…I will find him, this I swear to the great mother.”
That gets her nod. “Okay.”
Tuk shivers as the water fills the void. Her ears twitch as the sound of another person falling causes her to hide against the wall. The person falls. “Tuk?Tuk?”
“Spider?” She swims over into him. He was her size but like Dad and Neteyam she felt safe in his arms. “Spider, I’m scared.”
“Shh,” he coos. “It’s okay i know this ship we’re.” Spider looks around. “This is mid ship; the galley is just a few meters up. From there we can get to the launch bay.”
“Spider I can't, I can't move.” Her voice quivers as her heart beats against his chest.
“Take a deep breath from your belly to nose.” He takes a breath. It was a skill he learned to conserve his air. Tuk does so she was really good. Spider smiles as her heart returns to normal, “You're a fish girl now aren’t you?”
She nods a weak smile. “I’m learning.”
Checking his pack it was waterproof but too long in water is bad. Also the ship was sinking they needed to get out quickly. “Take a breath and follow me.”
“Who died?” Tuk asks. The monster said Dad lost one kid. She hadn’t seen Lo’ak or Neteyam, just Spider. “Tell me!”
He can't, it would cause her to panic and she wouldn’t be able to hold her breath. Her freckles are bright unlike her face. It's tight with worry, fear with pain for a loss she doesn’t know yet. “When we make back to the surface I’ll tell you. Now take a big breath.”
Tuk hugs him again. “I wanted to go back for you, we all did. I missed you more then even Kiri.”
“I missed you to Tuk-Tuk.”
He feels her stomach as she takes the breath he nods, taking out his flashlight to guide them. Under water the creaks and groans of the ship are eerie. He stays in front just because he doesn’t know who or what is in the galley. The call to abandon ship means it should be empty. He needs to get her to the surface. Then he can process that happened no he knows what happened more like he can figure out what to do since she didn’t kill him. Where could he go and would she try to kill him again?
They make it up to the air pocket Spider being filled with adrenaline holds onto the chair Tuk lets out her breath. “Good, you did so good.”
The ship turns and Tuk falls sliding down the row. “No.” He lets go following her down as they crash back against the floor. Thankfully the ship stabilized he grabs Tuk pulling up the side wall back to the air. “Tuk are you okay?”
She nods, holding out her hands feeling the water. “Someone is coming.”
Spider his knife pushing her back. If it was him then he would have to fight. “Stay behind me.”
His knife hand is out while his other hand reaches out to Tuk. When the head comes up he feels his heart pounding. “Mama!” Tuk swims over, Spider shrinks back.
“Oh Great mother, you are safe.” Neytiri couldn’t lose another child.
Tuk reaches out to the water where Spider was. Her ears fall. “Come on Spider.” She turns back to her mother. “Spider is gonna show us the way out.”
Neytiri looks over at the boy his breathing is more like heaving silently. Holding the knife out he shakes. He never could take a Na'vi, not a full grown one, definitely not her. She had Tuk she could leave the way she came. “You know the way you came you can go that way.”
“What?” Tuk pulls out of her mother's embrace to tread over with Spider. “No you promised.”
“I know.” He looks at Neytiri her face twisted into rage. “I know I did and I will go with your Mom. I’ll leave my way and meet you up top.”
“No , no we split up last time they took you.” She looks back at her mother. “Please Mom didn’t want to hurt you. Right Mom you just wanted Kiri back.”
Neytiri looks at her daughter who is holding Spider's shoulder. If she pulls her daughter out she’ll lose her trust like she’s lost Kiri. “Right Spider come with us.”
He looks at her holding her eye for just a minute before looking away. The boy was terrified of her and he holds his knife. Seeing that fear in his eyes makes her sick. She never hid her disdain for him but to see the deep far. He was so afraid that he was willing to stay on a sinking ship. “I…you go ahead I’ll follow.”
“Follow me.” She takes a breath.
Tuk pulls him along. “Come on, I'll protect you.”
Spider follows behind Tuk as Neytiri leads them up to an exhaust vent. It was open but a large piece of turbine was stuck now. She turns swimming back to Spider, her face clear with worry. “I know a way from here.”
He didn’t want to be in the lead with Neytiri and her knife so close to his back. Spider peeks back they were still holding, he moves back along the halls. At a large door he and Neytiri pull it open. The room was air filled and the water rushed in.
The three of them are pushed up. Spider holds onto Tuk as the water pushes them down the hall. They are pulled into a conference room. The water was coming in but the air was good enough for breathing.
Tuk holds onto a bar for comfort. “How far it is?”
“Not far.” The room was filling. “I’ll scout ahead to make sure it's clear.”
“No.” Tuk says in a whine. “Sully’s stick together.”
He nods he wasn’t a Sully, that much he knew. “Then stay with your Mom I’ll be back.”
“No you stay with us.” She holds his arms. “Stay with me?”
Neytiri stays off to the side. “Tuk is right, we are stronger together.”
Spider sighs as the light flick off. “I’m sorry.” He says to the woman. “I’m sorry they came back for me, it was stupid. I shouldn’t have let them. I should have led the recoms away.”
When she moves over to him it makes a soft whimper escape his mouth. “It wasn’t your fault.” A muffled groan makes them all clutch to each other. Tuk holds Spider Neytiri with her arms and pulls them both in. She asks him with her eyes. He has head dips; this was the place they would meet fate. “Stay close to Mama Tuk.”
“Please let me try.” Spider didn’t stop them from killing the mother Tulkun. “Please.”
Neytiri feels guilt in her stomach. How did she comfort him? They were about to die and he was scared. “You always did and I didn’t see. I see now.”
Tuk leans on her mother. “Mama?”
“It’s okay prrnen tsmuke.” Spider says, rubbing her braids. “We’ll see him soon.”
“Oh great mother help us.” The woman says. Help my children help the boy they are children. I will gladly meet my son but let them live.
The water ripples around them as the tiny glow fish enter the room. A figure pops up. “Kiri!”
The two sisters hug. Spider breathed out, she came back. Kiri swims over. “Mom I’ll let you have this.” She transfers a fish that looks like wings onto the woman’s back. “Are you okay Monkey Boy?”
All he can do is nod. It was a long day he was exhausted every part of him was ready to let go. “I’m good.”
The fish must give some kind of boost as Kiri pulls on his arm. “Come on, we're getting out of here.”
They all swim and the little lights guide them out. Neytiri feels her legs give out so she can’t do it. Kiri would get them out. They would be safe if she lets the water take her. Spider turns back seeing the mother lang. “Fuck.” He pulls on her arms and they were on the decks. All she had to do was swim up. “Come on, you're a warrior!”
Even that does nothing. Kiri and Tuk look back, the fish detached itself. Without thinking Spider pulls on the life vest the first day he was put on the ship Quraitch gave him a thick manual on the life vest as well as proper evacuation instructions. He holds onto her arm inflating the vest. The pair shoot to the surface slower with the weight of a Na’vi but they make it up to the surface.
Still holding on he maneuvers her to a piece of metal. Checking her heart it’s beating but she isn’t breathing. A dangerous thought enters his mind; he could just let her die. “ No .” He turned the voice carried on the water but he was alone. The wind was heavy with smoke, oil and death. It was still the battle over. “You aren’t one of them.”
“Who am I then?” He was tired of people telling him what or who he was.
The little fish with the soft light surrounded him. With a firm but still caring tone the voice says. “Your mine.”
Spider watches the fish return to the deep to lead Kiri up. Turning back he starts to beat on her chest. “Come breath you can do it. Be mad that I’m touching you.”
That much do it as Neytiri’s eyes shoot open. The yellow orbs zero on his hands. Immediately Spider slides back into the ocean. “Spider?”
Whatever she was about to say was lost as the Tulkun breaks the surface. Jake and Lo’ak breathing heavily on the fin. “Lo’ak?!” The boy calls the sea beast glides over.
“Spider!” The two reach over brothers.
“Daddy!” Tuk says as soon as is back above the water. Kiri swims over half carrying Tuk. Neytiri reaches out for Jake, her other arm around Tuk. Kiri holds Spider who exatends his arm out to Lo’ak. The two can’t reach the space that would be filled by Neteyam was just water.
“Oh children, you are safe.” Neytiri says, looking at each of them, even Spider.
Tuk looks at Spider. “You promised.”
He knows she knows but the little girl can’t bring herself to say it. Spider understands it all too well he’d never said about himself because it was too painful. There were plenty of people all too happy to say he was an alien or a disappointment or that he didn’t belong. “Neteyam. I’m Tuk it was my fault.”
With those words he lets the last engery he had slip out. He was tired of being tough, of being alone he wanted to savor this moment where for once he felt truly seen.

you see through me what lies beyond, Chapter 2
Warnings: vaginal sex, oral sex (f receiving), fingering, intimidation, Ganondorf being himself
Summary: Left alone in the Demon King's rooms, you pick up a new skill.
Notes: I hadn't expected to do a second chapter, but I managed to get an idea for a plot! Granted, I'm not sure where it'll go right now, but...that's part of the fun. If you spot any mistakes in this, feel free to point it out, I'm falling asleep editing lol <3
Read on Ao3 here!
Previous chapter
You wake alone. For a moment, you startle at the unfamiliar bed, the silk sheets under your naked skin, before memories of the previous night come rushing in. You feel your face go hot as you remember everything that happened. I can’t believe that I really…with him…
You roll over, pressing your hand to the space he’d been in when you fell asleep together. The sheets are cold. He must have gotten up early, you think. You stamp down on the rising disappointment. I doubt he’s a cuddler…
Slipping out of bed, you make a face at the lingering stickiness between your legs. You start to make your way to the bathroom, before pausing. On the table where you shared dinner last night is a place setting for one, and what looks like a folded piece of paper sitting in front of the plate. Smiling faintly, you grab the card as you head into the bathroom for a quick wash, opening it and reading it on the way. In tidy, efficient handwriting, it says:
My little beauty, I have work to do today, so you will not see me until dinner. You may read anything in my rooms that you wish; I cast a spell this morning upon your brow that will let you read our common tongue. Avail yourself of my bathroom. If you get hungry or thirsty, simply press your hand to your plate or cup and the food you want will appear. Above all else: Do not leave this room! I cannot guarantee your safety if you do. I would not see you killed so soon after you’ve arrived. Ganondorf
“Not until dinner, huh?” you murmur, disappointed. But you know that he’s a busy man, so you try not to take it personally.
You soak in the tub until pruny, enjoying the way that you can stretch out in the water as much as you want, even floating at one point. But your stomach rumbles insistently at you, and so you finally get out, wrapping yourself in a big, fluffy towel and heading out to eat. Breakfast is delicious, hearty and filling, with a variety of fruits that burst on your tongue.
And all the while, your mind is racing. Yesterday, so much happened that you couldn’t process it very well. (It didn’t help that you were very thoroughly distracted by a certain giant king, either.) But now that you’re alone without much to do, it all hits you like a truck.
The Legend of Zelda is real. Ganondorf is real. And this isn’t a game.
A part of you aches to go explore, wanting to see all the places you’ve only been to in pixelated form. But your lover’s warning gives you a healthy pause. This isn’t a game, and you were no warrior like Link. Odds are, if you were to meet one of Ganondorf’s minions, you would be killed. The thought made you shiver in fear.
And so, once breakfast is done, you peruse his bookshelves. Leather-bound volumes sit proudly in neat rows, and scrolls are tidily piled in drawers. Titles in languages you can’t read decorate the spines and covers of many of the tomes, and some books give you such a bad feeling that you don’t dare to touch them. But there are a fair few that are written in Common, and thanks to the spell he placed on you, could be read just fine. You settle on a bestiary of various monsters, thinking to arm yourself with some knowledge at least, and settle down into Ganondorf’s huge armchair before the fire.
This particular book is large to accommodate detailed pictures of monster anatomy, the binding sturdy and a muddy brown color. You read about the different monsters that one could encounter in the world, doing your best to commit them to memory. But when learning about their biology no longer holds your attention, you return to the bookshelves, looking for something different.
And indeed, you find it. Sitting there amongst the tomes is a thick book, written in common: Magic Primer. “Primer…that’s for beginners,” you murmur, and pull the book out. As your fingers touch the binding, a gentle warmth flows up your arm. It makes you smile, hopeful that this will be something you’ll be able to learn.
You quickly make your way back to the armchair, Ganondorf’s words from yesterday about your possible talent swirling through your mind. Excitedly, you crack the book open.
New student of magic, this author says to you: above everything else, above natural talent, above raw power, the one thing that a learner of magic must remember to be is patient. Learning magic is akin to befriending a feral cat. If you try too hard, it will run from you. Not hard enough and it won’t be interested in what you have to offer. And if you do not guard yourself, it will rip your throat out. As in all things, you must find balance, and be not discouraged if the power doesn’t immediately leap to your fingers. Patience, student, will get you far further than anything else.
“Patience,” you murmur. “Well, I’m stuck in this room until he gets tired of me, so I can do patience.”
You turn the page. The first chapter is about meditation, and how important it is to beginners learning magic. “It is highly recommended that new students meditate for at least an hour before trying anything beyond this chapter. A chaotic mind will yield chaotic spells, which can be dangerous for new practitioners,” you murmur, reading aloud.
You shift in place, following a diagram from the page about how you should sit. “Clearing one’s mind, for most people, is easier said than done. But it need not be full silence. A monotone hum can be even more effective than trying for nothing at all.”
You nod to yourself, lay your hands on your knees, close your eyes, and start humming. A soft, straight tone sound filters into the air around you as you focus on your breathing. You didn’t think you’d be any good at it, and it is difficult, trying not to latch on to the random thoughts that pop into your mind. But almost before you know it, the hour’s past. You shift, stretching out joints gone stiff from sitting in one place for so long.
The second chapter details some easy first spells. “A light spell is always handy,” you read, “and relatively easy to do. Hold open your dominant hand and fill your thoughts with light. Keep in mind, light can take different forms. If you think about firelight, a flame will light in the air above your palm, so be cautious. The easiest and safest is to think about pure sunlight, as it will result in a simple glowing ball of light.”
You open your hand above your knee and close your eyes. You think back to…just a few days ago, actually. On Earth, it’s the beginning of spring where you live, and the snows are beginning to melt. You’d stepped out of your door and felt the warm sun on your skin, the feeling pleasant enough to make you stop for a few moments just to enjoy it.
It’s that feeling that you bring up. The light against your eyelids, the warmth on your face, the uplifting feeling it gave your spirit…so strong is the memory you nearly feel sunlight on your skin now.
Wait…
Your eyes snap open, and hovering above your palm is a baseball-sized orb of light, giving off a softly radiant glow.
You gape it as it floats above your hand. You did magic.
You did magic.
You did magic!!!
You’re so excited that your mental control over the spell is thrown out the window, and rather than just fade, it bursts into motes of light that slowly disappear, like a tiny firework that reflects your elation. You all but squeal in delight. “Holy shit, I can do magic!”
Your stomach takes that moment to grumble, but you didn’t want to stop now. So you take up the book and move to the plate on the table. “Let’s see if I can figure out how to make the light stay without concentrating,” you murmur as the tray conjures you lunch.
And so it is that later that night, when Ganondorf unlocks his door and enters his room, he’s met with dozens of globes of light, softly shining and floating in the air, and you in the process of making another, still only clad in a fluffy towel.
He stares in shock as he watches you gently toss out another globe, which comes to rest a few inches from one that’s already made. He closes the door behind him, locks it, and snaps his fingers. At once, all the globes go out. You gasp, jumping in sudden fright as the room is suddenly much darker than it was, and you turn to look at him. Those golden eyes all but glaring down at you make you swallow. “Y-You’re back! Ganondorf, I-”
“What do you think you are doing?” he all but growls at you. He walks toward you, slowly, and you feel your spine trying to disintegrate. You’ve never felt so small, so insignificant before in your life, like a gnat before a colossus.
“I’m sorry, I…I found this book!” You hold out the primer in front of you like a shield. “I-I was just curious, I didn’t think it would actually work, but then I made a light, and-”
You cut off with a yelp as he snatches the book from you, flipping through the first couple pages. He’s quiet for a few minutes, before uttering, “Have you tried any other spells?”
“N-No! I swear, I only did the light spell!” you gasp.
He closes the book and sighs as he takes in your terrified appearance. “...that is well then.” He offers you the book back, which you gingerly take. “I did not mean to frighten you. But magic can be dangerous to learn on one’s own. I would be cross if you’d burned up my room.”
You figure that’s as close to an apology you’re likely to get from him, and your shoulders start to relax. A little, anyway. “I…I wouldn’t want to learn the more dangerous spells on my own anyway. I’m not stupid,” you mumble defensively.
“Glad to hear it,” he rumbles wryly. He tilts his head slightly, and despite himself a hint of curiosity enters his gaze. “How long did it take you to perform the spell the first time? Tell me about your method.”
You perk up, and you start grinning. “Okay, so, the book said that before you start on magic work for the day that you should meditate to calm your mind, so I did that. Then, the light spell said to ‘imagine a light source, but be careful if it’s fire.’ It suggested sunlight, so I just…” You explain to him your thought process. “...and when I opened my eyes it was there, above my palm!”
He looks surprised. “That easily?”
You nod eagerly. “That easily! I was so surprised and excited that the spell sorta burst, it was pretty.”
“I see.” He looks thoughtful. Then he suddenly scoops you up with one arm and strides to the armchair, sitting and settling you into his lap. His arms wrap around your waist, and he curves his chest over your back. “Show me. Perform the spell again.”
You’re a little breathless from being manhandled like that-one night in his presence wasn’t nearly enough to get you used to this. But you nod and close your eyes. “Give me a moment to settle my mind again.”
Amusement enters his golden gaze, as if he knows exactly what you’re thinking. “Of course.”
You both sit there in silence as you calm down. Though, it was easier said than done: the fact that you could sit cross-legged in Ganondorf’s lap and still have room left over was…very distracting. But eventually, your emotions settle, and you open your eyes. “Okay.”
He watches you as you lift your hand, but he’s not just watching your physicality. He’s practiced enough in the arcane arts that he can feel other people’s energies. He hadn’t been kidding yesterday when he told you his thoughts about you and sorcery, but not just because your feelings were able to breach dimensional boundaries. He can feel a wealth of energy inside you, locked behind your world’s limitations. But upon traveling to a world where magic is common, those limitations were shattered, and now your energy flows freely.
He watches as it travels from your heart and brain, the epicenters of magical force, down your arm, up through your palm to curve into a ball and burst into radiant light. It took all of two seconds. It hovers there, casting a cheerful light over the area. You grin up at him.
He watches it for a moment. “Show me how you anchor it.”
“Okay.” You close your eyes again. He watches just a tiny sliver of your energy break off from the main body of the pool available to you. It sticks through the ball of energy as if nailing it to a wall, and you take your hand away, letting it float there.Ganondorf reaches out, poking at the orb, trying to move it–but it stays firm.
“...I have to admit, I am fairly impressed,” he finally says. You light up, almost brighter than the orb you’d created. “Do not get me wrong, this is a beginner spell. Creating light is not difficult for even children, once they have even a rudimentary grasp of their own energy. However…” He leans back in the armchair, looking thoughtful as you turn around in his lap to face him. “You performed this spell instantly the first time you tried it. That is rare. And to follow it up, in your first session ever using magic, with a holding technique?” He nods. “I will give credit where credit is due: that is very well done.”
You beam happily at him. “Thank you! I didn’t think something like that would impress you, I’m honored.”
He nods. “As you should be. However…this will be the last time that you practice magic by yourself.”
You blink, your stomach sinking like a rock. “...why?”
“Like I said, I do not want you burning down my room. I have too many important documents and relics in here. Instead, starting tomorrow, you will learn directly from me, in a training room much more suited.”
Your jaw drops. “You…you’re going to teach me yourself?!”
“I am. Your potential is too great to leave to someone else. I will see to it personally.”
“Holy shit,” you breathe, and he rumbles a chuckle in amusement. “I…well, I’ll do my best to learn.”
“Of course you will. I do not expect any less.” He watches you for a long moment, before reaching forward and capturing your chin in between his thumb and forefinger. “Be warned: I will push you to your limits.”
You swallow hard, but smile faintly. “I figured you would. You’re good at that.”
His lips quirk up into a smirk, and he leans forward, so close his nose brushes yours. “Am I? Is my little beauty thinking of last night?” he purrs.
Your heart rate ramps up, your eyes blowing wide. “I’m sitting in your lap and you’re about to kiss me. How could I not?” you whisper back.
He abruptly grabs your hips, and he yanks you forward against his chest. “I do enjoy how eager you are, little one,” he whispers into your jawline, nipping playfully as his right hand lifts to curl gently around your throat. Heat explodes into your veins, and your gasp is music to his ears. “I like the thought that you are so eager, you would do anything I ask. Would you not?”
You whimper, trembling at his touch, your hips already pressing forward into his. “V-Very nearly, yes,” you gasp.
He chuckles, low and dark, the sound curling lithely into your core. “As I thought.” Then abruptly, he plucks you from his lap and stands you next to his chair. “However,” he says, standing as you sway a little, “I have not eaten anything since breakfast. Delicious as you are, you are not very filling.” He smirks down at you as he moves for the dining table. “I will save you for dessert.”
You gape at his back in disbelief as he leaves you there. The heat is rapidly dissipating as you realize that he’d been only playing with you, and you huff, blushing darkly as you come over to take your seat at the table. “You’re a damn tease, Gan.”
He flicks his hand at the covered platter, and when he removes the cloche there are slices of roasted beef, smelling of spices and something like wine. There’s also steamed vegetables, and on the other plates appear fresh fruit. It’s a very well rounded meal. “I do not recall giving you permission to shorten my name,” he muses, raising an eyebrow as he serves you a portion of the food.
You flush faintly. “Well…your full name’s a bit of a mouthful.” Much like other things, you think, though you don’t say it out loud.
“Even so. One night of passion does not entitle you to such…familiarity. Not yet, anyway. You will call me Ganondorf, or my lord. Understood?”
You glower at him. “If that’s what you want, then fine. But it feels weird being so formal with you, and not just because we…we had sex. I grew up knowing you and your stories, for God’s sake.” You pause as his eyes flick to yours. “How about a compromise? Can I call you Ganon?”
His lips purse in disapproval. “I am not Ganon. Ganon is my bestial form, and you should know that.”
“I do, but that doesn’t mean-”
“I have given you your options,” he says firmly. “If you cannot follow my wishes on such a minor subject, how am I to trust you to follow my orders when I teach you magic?”
Despite yourself, you wince and look down. “All right…I’m sorry, Ganondorf.”
“Apology accepted.”
He goes quiet after that. You examine him as you both eat, though you try your best to be subtle about it. He’s perfectly mannered, but his eyes are miles away. You wonder what he’s thinking about, if there’s some problem with his plans. You wonder if it’s Link and Zelda…and that thought makes you freeze, your eyes going wide in sudden realization.
“Could I ask you a question?” He grunts an affirmative. “If you die, am I stuck here?”
He looks at you sharply. “Why are you thinking of my death?”
You hold up your hands placatingly. “I’m not! I mean, I am, but not in-I don’t want you to die, that’s not what I meant. But generally, if you’re alive then Zelda and Link move against you, and that tends to lead to you dying. What if you die while I’m still here?”
He stares at you for a long moment, before sighing. “If they were to slay me, yes, you would be stuck here. But they would not kill you, as you are not part of my plans. You are only my companion.”
“All right…” You look down, swallowing slightly as you cut another piece of beef. “That would…kinda suck. I mean, not only do I not want you to die, but I wouldn’t know where to even start about living in a fantasy realm.”
He snorts. “Yes, a world of much lower technology would be a culture shock for you. But once Zelda learns that you know about…all of us, I am sure she would provide for you.”
“You think?”
“Of course. Not only because she is kind, but because you would be a source of information for her.”
You smile ruefully. “Wisdom.”
The tone of your voice sounds almost resigned, and he chuckles without much humor. “Wisdom. You understand better than I thought you would.”
“The outside perspective helps with that.”
“Indeed.”
It goes quiet again, save for the snap of the fireplace and the clink of utensils. Only once the food is gone does he turn to you. He smirks, his eyes roaming your form, and he flicks his fingers. The platter and plates disappear from the table. “Stand.”
You flush, but you push your chair back and stand before him. “Good girl,” he rumbles, and the praise makes a shiver run up your spine. “Come closer.”
You step forward, and as soon as you’re within reach he grasps you and lifts you from the floor, stripping the towel off and laying you face down on the table. You gasp as he pulls your hips up into the air, his enormous hands framing themselves around your ass cheeks. “Ganondorf!”
He chuckles, a low, amused, aroused rumble as his eyes feast on the view before him. “Yes? I told you that I would have you for dessert, did I not?”
“You did, b-but I didn’t think you meant it literally!”
He snorts. “Rarely am I anything but literal, little one. Now, unless you’re crying out in pleasure, hush.”
You flush darkly as his thumbs pull your lower lips open. You glisten in the firelight, and in the light from the nearby candles, and he watches with relish as your weeping hole twitches in arousal. He says nothing, just emits a pleased near-growl as his eyes roam your folds. His right index finger hooks gently over your labia, leaving his thumb free to rub teasing circles over your entrance. A choked cry is muffled into the table top as all the eager nerves are stimulated around your hole, and he smiles when he feels your thigh muscles twitch under his left hand.
His thumb suddenly sinks into you, punching a curse out of your lips. He plunges it in and out a couple times, watching the way your slick builds around the digit, before he pulls it out to swipe once over your clit.
He chuckles as your hips buck.
His right hand leaves your ass as he sinks one long, thick middle finger into you. Your fingernails scratch against the table top as that finger slowly undulates, and your hips move of their own accord, pressing back to meet his intruding digit. His left hand tightens on your hip, forcing you to stop.
“You will move when I tell you to,” he growls, and all the while his finger continues to move, to slide along your slick walls.
“P-Please,” you gasp in vain. You know after last night he doesn’t respond to your begging until he’s good and ready.
He smirks, his golden eyes darkened and molten, as he watches your quivering cunt responding to him. He watches the way your clit engorges under its hood, wanting attention. He watches the way your juices drip down your folds, squelching around him.
And then he adds a second, stretching you around his massive fingers.
“FUCK,” you shout, your hips twisting against his grip as he slowly presses forward. His pace is achingly relaxed, not because he thinks you need him to go slow after last night, but to torment you, the sweetest torture. “Please, please, I-I need more!”
“Is that so?” he replies, his tone as casual as if talking about the weather.
“YES! Please, Ganondorf, please!”
The second please is barely out of your mouth before his thumb is suddenly swiping rapidly over your clit, before his fingers in you suddenly piston rapidly. You shriek in pleasured surprise, your left arm shooting out and knocking a cup off the table with a clang. He laughs as you writhe against his hold.
And then he slows back down. You whine in protest, feeling the beginnings of an orgasm fade back into your belly, and your clit throbs.
He stands, suddenly, but your hips come with him, and you yelp as you hang upside down, your thighs hooking over his shoulders. Your face is pressed now against his clothed erection, his cock firm and hot against your cheek through his pants. His left arm is wrapped around your lower back to keep you there, while his right stays where it is, his fingers still deep in you.
He says nothing, and you get no more warning, before his lips wrap gently around your clit. Your fingernails dig into his thighs and pleasure surges up your nerves like a lightning storm. His lips work gently around your clit, not sucking, just rubbing, and you choke on a sob of pleasure.
You can feel it building again, the beginnings of your orgasm, rolling in the base of your belly as he works you with all the patience in the world. His hips never once twitch despite the massive erection under your face; he’s fully focused on you, on making you lose your mind in desperate need.
Impaled on his fingers, orgasm building achingly slowly, his beard tickling your labia and inner-most thighs, you cry out his name like a prayer.
Then his tongue begins to swirl rapid, tight circles on your jutting clit, and his fingers piston once more into your aching cunt, and you explode into blinding pressure and heat. He growls against you as your walls seize his fingers in a velvet vice, and before you could even realize that he’s pulled his pants down, you’re bent over the table and he’s pushing into you. You scream his name as his fingers keep rubbing your clit, your orgasm not stopping as his cock spears you open. He bends almost in two over you, biting down against your shoulder as your walls do their best to milk him. His hips slam into your ass, his cockhead hitting a spot inside you that sends lightning up your spine, and with a bellow he follows you into bliss.
Your body buzzes as he empties himself into you, his teeth leaving your shoulder, replaced by his lips and his rapid breathes, exhaled through his nose. His hips keep pumping, slowly, sliding his softening cock through the mess he made of you. You whimper his name, going boneless on the table under him, shivering as sweat cools on your lower back, on your thighs, in your hairline.
He gathers you up, making you gasp as his cock slips out of you, and he carries you into the bathroom. You smile tiredly against his shoulder as he lowers you into the water. “I have a feeling we’re going to be in here a lot,” you murmur.
He smirks. “I have a feeling you may be right,” he rumbles as he sheds the rest of his clothes. “But I do not see you complaining about it.”
His smug tone makes you want to argue…but you can’t. After all, your new favorite pastime is letting the Gerudo King turn you into a whimpering, dripping, desperate mess.
Not that you’d say that out loud, anyway.

See ya later. 👋
Summary: Reader and Team Freewill make their way to the apocalypse world and come face to face with someone they lost.
This is not based off of the post I made the other day, but it could technically be a tie in if I do a series.
pairing: Dean Winchester x Female!Reader; Platonic!Cas x Reader, Platonic!Sam x Reader, Daughter!reader
Warnings: 18+, Language (reader likes to swear because so do I), slight dirty talk at one point if you squint, dead people, angst, angry dad for like two seconds, Cas feeling guilty for knowing something before everyone else, readers a big ole bitch about Jack
word count: 2492 (I busted my assssssssss, bro.)
Requests are open. 💕
The echoes from Kelly’s screams reverberated off the mountains surrounding the little cabin on the lake, sending those cries of pain and fear right back to us as if mother nature herself knew that Kelly Kline was bringing the worst of the worst right to her front door. Sitting helplessly listening to her pained wails feels like we’ve got a front row seat to the end of the world. Mary had gone to keep her company when we first arrived, but nothing she’s done has given Kelly a distraction from the child trying to rip its way out of her womb. Castiel continues to try and convince us that this baby will bring peace, but something that’s half of the biggest bad in history has no way of knowing a damn thing about peace.
Another scream fills the house, and we all flinch. I can’t stay in here any longer, lifting my head from hands I turn to Sam, “Did you guys check the wards on the house? If we can’t move Kelly and Lucifer is headed this way, then we need to make sure that they’re strong enough stop him.”
“Uh, no. No, not yet.” He whispers quietly, “You wanna check them?”
I nod slightly and stand, glancing in Deans direction and pointing toward the door, “Wanna come with me?”
He doesn’t answer, just stands, grabs my hand, and pulls me toward the door. As he reaches for the doorknob, Cas tries to interject, but just a second too late.
“Cas,” Dean starts gruffly, pointing toward what looks like a big golden tear in the middle of the air, “What the hell is that?”
Cas sighs and follows us out the door, Sam close behind him, “It’s a tear in space and time.”
“Uh, and that means?” Dean questions, moving down the stairs to get a closer look. I stay close behind keeping a firm grip on his hand to yank him away in case something comes barreling out at us…or he gets the stupid idea to jump in.
Cas steps in front of us to face the rift before stoically responding, “It’s a doorway to another world.”
“Another world?” Sam questions, coming to stand on Dean’s other side to study the rift himself.
Dean scoffs and looks at Cas in confusion, “What like Narnia?”
Cas slowly turns to speak, “No. No, in there it’s Earth but…but different. It’s a…a alternate reality.”
“Like that time we got zapped to another world and you were Polish.” Dean says with a chuckle and quick look toward Sam.
“And you were on a soap opera, ‘Eric’.” I pipe in earning a grin from Sam.
“Right,” He says quickly, “Cas, how did this get here?”
Cas, who seemed utterly confused at our banter, stares back into the rift before he speaks, “The child being born, his power it seems to be puncturing the fabric of our universe.”
“As if things weren’t already hectic enough with the kid and his psycho daddy, let’s just add in a portal to the multiverse, to keep things interesting.” I mutter, earning a disapproving look from Sam, “What? Am I wrong? Who knows what could come out of that thing! Thanos?”
“The Brain Gremlin?” Dean adds.
“The Brundlefly!”
Dean nods in agreement, “Good pick.”
“What exactly is on the other side, Cas?” Sam asks cautiously.
“You don’t want to know.” Cas replies solemnly, continuing to stare into the abyss.
We each glance at each other in silent communication, agreeing that there’s no way we can let this thing stay here without knowing what could come out of it. With our world already experiencing potentially the biggest bad that it’s ever known, we don’t need to add another to the mix. Sam and Dean nod to each other before Dean speaks up, “Probably. But we need to.”
And without another word, Cas touches the portal and we’re whisked into the unknown.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Immediately we land in the middle of what looks like a war zone. Bodies impaled on spikes taller than trees surround us, those not being used as shishkabobs are thrown haphazardly throughout the maze of destruction. Bright orange fire balls raining down from above and lightning flashes of bright crimson are the only color to be found in this place.
“Whoa.” Sam breathes.
“Cas, what is this?” Dean asks as we survey the area around us.
“As I said, it’s Earth. But this Earth is locked in eternal war between Heaven and Hell. There are armies of angels fighting hordes of demons, and the few humans that remain are caught in between.” Cas begins to walk ahead, being careful to avoid the dead around us.
“Humans? You mean there are people that are still kickin’ here?” I question as we follow behind him, making sure to step exactly where he did…just in case.
Sam stops, “How do you know that?” He asks Cas, confusion littering his features.
“A friend told me.”
A guilty look crosses Cas’ face as he glances in my direction, but just as quickly it’s gone. I make a mental note to question him about that later and look to Dean as he starts to speak.
“Oh, good. Now you’re making friends? That’s…” Irritation begins to creep up his face and he shakes his head, “Alright, on a scale of one to ten, how bad is this?”
Sam scoffs as he moves to look around even further, “I don’t know. I gotta say a, uh, hole in reality leading to a bombed out apocalypse world? I’m gonna say eleven.”
“Sounds right.”
Cas smiles softly, “You don’t have to worry. The child, he opened this door, I know he’ll close it.”
I laugh dryly, giving Cas a pointed look, “Yeah, Lucifer’s son, right? You sure about that?”
“I have faith.”
“Really? In your unborn baby-god?” Dean sarcastically quips.
“Yes.” Cas’ stern reply isn’t as effective in ending the conversation as it usually is, it just pisses me off.
“Well, then, you’re a dumbass.” I snap, “Lucifer has literally taken everything from us. He’s possessed Sam, tried to kill Dean, tortured me for days after he got out of the cage, and killed you and my dad before taking Sam to Hell! If you think for one second that this demon baby is gonna save the world, you’ve lost your damn mind. Everything that comes from that sorry, good for nothing idijit is pain, death, and destruction. I’m sorry, Cas, but you’re wrong about this.”
Cas’ frown deepened as he stared at me, guilt appearing on his face once more, “I’m sorry about your dad.”
Confusion colors my features and I choke out a quiet, “What?”
“Your dad. I’m sorry that he died.”
“That was years ago, and you both came back the same day. There’s nothing to apologize for.” The guilty look remains on Cas’ face as I speak, so I add, “Seriously, if you’re gonna apologize for anything it should be for is believing in the Devil Spawn.”
“No, not that time.” He says sternly, “I’m sorry about Dick. I’m sorry that you never got the chance to say goodbye. I know you wish that you had.”
“This has nothing to do with-“ I start to respond, but am suddenly cut off by Sam yelling to get our attention. Yanking my pistol out of its holster and snapping my head in the direction of Sam’s stare, I notice a strange figure slowly walking toward us. Its head covered in a checkered hood, scarves around its neck….and a bulky tan jacket that I would recognize anywhere….
“Hey! Hey! Hands in the air!” Dean yells, raising his gun and preparing to take a shot.
Cas throws up an arm and pushes Dean’s hand down, “No, don’t.”
He looks at me again, the guilt from earlier crossing his face once more and then he nods. I can feel tears pricking my eyes as I take a small step forward meeting the figure as they finally reach us. He doesn’t move to remove the hood, but I know him all the same.
“Don’t shoot me, Old Man.” I whisper as I raise a hand to touch the jacket on his frame, “You had one of these where I’m from, too. The scarves are a new addition though, don’t think I ever saw you in that.”
He chuckles, and I feel the tears start to fall as I hear the voice of my childhood for the first time in five years, “Yeah, they’re itchy as all hell, too.” He says as he removes the scarf covering his face, “I hate the damn things.”
“Bobby?” I hear Sam’s reaction behind me, and I can only imagine the shock on Dean’s face, but I can’t make myself look away for even a second, afraid that if I do, he’ll disappear. His face is dirty, and his hair looks longer under his hat, but he doesn’t look much different than he did in our world. The bags under his eyes are the same, though I’m sure for a much darker reason here than they were back home. He’s talking to Sam, and I can vaguely understand that he has no clue who they are. My eyes widen and I look back toward the boys panicked. What if he doesn’t know me? What if I don’t exist here? Or worse, what if I do and he doesn’t know that I’m not his kid?
“Bobby, it’s us. Sam and Dean Winchester.” Dean explains, pointing between the two of them.
“You say that like it’s supposed to mean something, but…naw.” Bobby replies curtly, and turns back to me, “You alright, ‘Pea?” he asks softly.
I snap my gaze up to his face again, “You know me?”
He gives me a small smile and puts his hand on my shoulder, “I’d know you in any world, Chickpea.”
The tears freely flow down my cheeks as I reach up to touch the hand he placed on my shoulder, “You died in my world. And I didn’t even get to say good-bye.”
He sighs and looks down, “You died here, a couple years ago actually. I thought I would’ve eaten a bullet by now, but I got too many people relying on me. And you’d kick my ass in the afterlife if I did.”
I can’t help the laugh that bubbles out of me at that and I shake my head, “Morbid old man.”
Dean clears his throat awkwardly and takes a step to stand beside me, “Listen, I know you two need this reunion, and I want you to have it. But maybe we could address a few of the other pressing matters first, you know?” He says, pointing toward the bodies next to us.
“What do you want to know?” Bobby asks.
We spend the next several minutes discussing the ins and outs of his world and ours, and compared to his, we live the high life. This is a world in which Sam and Dean Winchester never existed, therefore the Battle of the Brothers did occur, Michael whooped Lucifers fiery ass, and humanity was fucked because of it.
“Damn,” I mutter to Dean, “I was hoping there was another you running around here somewhere.”
He leans down and grins, “I thought you were thankful there was only one of me?”
I shrug and turn my head to whisper in his ear, “Maybe I would’ve liked to experience two.”
We both grin at each other, but before he can respond we’re interrupted by someone loudly clearing their throat.
“Is what I have to say not important to the two of you?” Bobby barks, causing Dean to stand up straight and step away from me, “That’s right boy, you stay at least three feet away from her while you’re in my world or I’ll have you by the balls.”
I stare at Dean blankly, blinking a few times, “You’re thirty-seven, what are you doing?”
He shuffles his feet and looks down, “Sorry, must be PTSD or something…Haven’t heard him yell at me like that in a while.”
Sam pats his back and chuckles, “It was good seeing you, Bobby. Hopefully this won’t be the last time.”
“We’ll see.” He responds gruffly, grabbing my arm as we turned to go, “I know you’re not my kid, but you look like my kid and you sound like my kid, so I love you. Please be safe out there.”
“I love you, too. And I’m pretty sure I need to worry about you being here more than you need to worry about me over there.” I say as I point back to the rift, “Thank you for not shooting me earlier. I wouldn’t have blamed you if you did.”
“If it was anybody else, I would have. You’re lucky that you’re you,” He says with a smile, “I hope I get to see you again soon, Kid.”
“Me too.” I fight back the tears forming in my eyes, I know what’s coming and even though I’ve spent every day regretting missing my dad’s final moments, I still don’t think I’m ready for good-bye, “What if we don’t say bye? Just see you later.”
He smiles and nods, “Can I hug you?”
“Absolutely.”
He wraps his arms around me, and I can’t stop myself from sobbing into his chest. We stay like for a few minutes until I feel the boys eyes on my back. I sit up and grin at him, “See you later, Old Man.”
His eyes glisten as he rests a hand on my cheek, “See you later, Chickpea. I love ya.”
“You too.” I reply as I turn and step through the portal.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dean has his arm wrapped around my shoulders and kisses the top of my head, “You okay?” he asks, leaning away just enough to see my face.
“That’s a loaded question.” I say with a smile, “But I think I will be.”
He pulls me close and rests his chin on my head as he sighs, “Good, cause we’ve got a lot of work to do. Mad Max World over there is gonna need to be taken care of.”
“Yeah, but we’ve got problems of our own to take care of first. He’ll be fine.” I state as I lean into him. Looking back toward the rift, I make eye contact with Cas who smiles awkwardly. I grin back and mouth, “Thank you.” To which he gives a little nod before turning to go inside to check on Kelly; Sam, Dean, and I tagging close behind.
“Oh, come on!” Dean exclaims as we come face to face with the King of Hell.
“Hello, Boys.” Crowley gives a little wave with his bandaged hand and smirks.
“Wait,” Sam starts, “How the hell did you-“
“I improvised. And lucky I did, it turns out I’m the answer to all your problems.” He says with a nod to the rift.
Looks like ‘later’ is coming a lot sooner than planned.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A/N: I hope you enjoyed! And, I also hope it makes sense that Cas was feeling guilty about seeing Bobby first, I'm not sure how that comes across. I did this on microsoft word and just pasted it here so i hope it shows up ok. As always, I'm brushing the dust off my fanfic writing skills so please show mercy. lol

“Just go for it! If it goes horribly, you can blame being drunk and pretend it never happened at all!”
You looked back at your friend, grinning lazily at you from the couch she was perched on. She was a lot more extraverted than you in general, but with alcohol in her system? She was capable of anything.
You? You, you maybe not so much.
With another glance over at the man messing around with the sound system spreading music throughout the house, you saw he was deep in concentration. One hand typed on the laptop keyboard while the other held a red solo cup you assumed held some type of alcohol. His hair was falling in his face as he gazed at the screen, and he wore a shirt tucked into jeans. He looked good in those jeans.
You flushed at the thought of going over to talk to him, but your friends seemed determined to encourage you to go for it. They had been on a long spiel about how you weren’t ever going to date anyone if you only waited around for others to make a move. You could make the first move! You just feared making a fool of yourself in front of someone you would see two days a week for the rest of the semester.
Johnny Suh sat three rows behind you in your Monday-Wednesday English lecture, and he probably had to be the most attractive man you have ever seen in your life.
Okay, that was most likely an exaggeration, but he was a beautiful man. Tall, dark hair, and a good sense of style was the perfect combination for attraction to bloom. You felt giddy just thinking about him.
Too bad you didn’t really know anything about him other than the fact that he sat in the same seat every single week.
He looked different in this atmosphere though. He seemed more relaxed, and since he was messing around with the music system like he knew exactly what he was doing even with a little alcohol in his system, you assumed he belonged to this frat and lived in this house. You had once seen him walk into class with a fraternity symbol across his sweatshirt, but you were never good at remembering what all those Greek symbols meant.
While he looked more relaxed, seeing Johnny in a non-academic setting was also extremely intimidating. You were only a few drinks in, mildly tipsy at best, but the alcohol made you warm, and even the idea of not being sober gave you a little confidence. Maybe you could do this.
You could walk over there and make conversation. Get to know him. You could maybe even ask him out for coffee or lunch before class one day. Like your friend said, if things go south, you could always blame the alcoholic atmosphere of a Saturday night frat party.
“Okay,” you said, as you watched your friends raise their eyebrows at you, “I’ll go do it. Maybe get me a drink just in case it doesn’t go well.”
Your two friends cheered as you turned around to walk through the small crowd to Johnny. Moving around made you realize you were a little more drunk than you had thought while sitting down, but you were determined at this point. The alcohol would hopefully make you a little loose, break you out of your shell a little bit.
Johnny took a drink from his red cup as he surveyed the upcoming queued songs for the next hour. Once you were only a few steps away from him, you slowed down as your nerves kicked into high gear. There was a pang of anxiety that shot through your chest at the thought of actually talking to him. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea.
You were three seconds from turning around when his gaze found yours. You must have looked like a deer in headlights in the dimly illuminated air of the frat house, but getting noticed gave you a little spike of determination.
“Hey,” you spoke up as you stepped a little closer, “Johnny, right?” Not the best start, but at least it was something.
“Yeah…” he replied, giving you a slightly suspicious look. It made you realize he probably had no clue who the fuck you were. There were over a hundred people in your class, and it was actually extremely likely that he had never noticed you before.
The alcohol running warm in your veins kept you going though. “I’m Y/N. We’re in the same English class.”
You offered up a small smile, hoping you don’t seem weird as you tucked a strand of hair behind your ear nervously. His eyes changed a little and you could tell that he at least recognized the academic correlation.
“Oh, hi.”
It was clear that he was still sort of lost on why you were talking to him. You knew you needed to play it off to lessen the damage and actually attempt to make a conversation out of this interaction. He was just so nice-looking, it made you sort of just want to stare at him in admiration for the rest of the night.
“Um, sorry I came up to you, I don’t normally do this,” you explained to him, “I’ve just seen you around, and I’m a few drinks in, and my friends told me to stop waiting for shitty dudes to approach me— I should go up to them; it's a whole thing.”
You knew you had a tendency to ramble sometimes, but at least you were talking— at least something was happening. You reminded yourself that talking about something, anything, was better than just being silent.
The only issue was, rambling was not the best way to communicate.
“Are you calling me a shitty dude?” he asked, giving you a raised brow.
The panic settled in, and you knew your eyes grew wide from how he was looking at you right now. It only lasted a moment before his face broke out into a lighthearted grin.
“I’m just joking around,” he stated, tucking his hands into his jeans, “So what’s this ‘whole thing’ about the shitty guys anyways?”
You were flooded with relief that he was only kidding around, and also that you might actually have a chance at a conversation, no matter how strange it was.
“Oh, well I haven’t really dated anyone for that long, and it's because I always date the dudes that approach me, and I’m never attracted to any of them. So it never goes anywhere,” you explained in what was most likely too much detail. “My one friend saw this TikTok that was like, you need to go up to people you like if you want to be with someone you’re actually attracted to.”
“So… you’re attracted to me?” Johnny replied.
You felt yourself tense at his words, finding yourself flustered under his gaze that had suddenly become a bit more intense than you had remembered it being a few minutes ago. You felt like you could melt under his stare, and you knew your mouth was probably open in bewilderment. You coughed lightly to clear your throat, moving your gaze to somewhere on the wall behind him to avoid his eyes for a moment.
“Uhh, yeah, I, uh, have a classroom crush on you,” you stated, trying to keep your voice steady. Maybe if you faked your way to confidence, he wouldn’t notice the way you felt like your heart might explode from your chest with how wildly it was beating.
Johnny leaned back against the wall you both had been standing near, letting a lazy smile come over his face. “And what’s a classroom crush?”
You rolled your eyes, knowing he was enjoying himself but humoring him anyways, “You know. When you think someone’s cute in your class but you don’t really know anything about them because all you see is them in class.”
At the mention of class, you recalled the fact that after this encounter you would have to walk into class on Monday and see this man in front of you. The idea filled you with embarrassment. You had been slowly digging your own grave, and you were suddenly letting your eyes wander, thinking of a way to just get out of this without embarrassing yourself more.
Johnny made a noise of understanding, drawing your attention back to him, “Oh yeah, I get that.”
“You do?”
“Yeah,” he grinned at you, “I actually have a classroom crush, too.”
“Oh?”
Oh.
“Mhm,” he nodded as he rubbed his hand over his chin for a brief moment, “There’s this girl in my Monday-Wednesday lecture. She sits a few rows in front of me, but she occasionally turns around a little bit and sometimes I catch her staring at me. She’s so cute when she looks away all embarrassed about it.”
Your eyes went wide as you realized, fuck, oh fuck, that’s you, fuck, he noticed you.
“Oh yeah?” you gulped out. You looked down at his drink, “Can I have some of that?”
He offered the cup to you, letting out a mention that it was strong, but you took a big drink anyways, relishing in the way the alcohol burned going down. You looked back up to see him with a small, little smile on his face directed at you, as he watched you with an amused gleam in his eye.
You swore his smile could melt your insides entirely. “So,” he began, “What happens with a classroom crush, typically?”
The liquid courage from the alcohol had your mouth talking before your brain could really keep up with it.
“I usually just daydream and make up scenarios in my head during class to waste time, and then it kinda fizzles out after a while, usually when the semester is over.”
How were you acting so calm when you felt like you should be freaking the fuck out on the inside. Have you really been saying all of these things out loud? Your words came to an abrupt halt as you stared up at the man just a bit away from you.
“Have you ever thought about asking the person out?” Johnny asked, his words coming out with a little teasing in his tone.
You smiled weakly at him, “I guess that’s what I was trying to do with this whole conversation, but I’m just very bad at this.”
Johnny let out a little laugh. “I think you’re doing great. We are talking after all, aren’t we?”
You were grateful that he seemed to not be rejecting you, but you were curious as to what was going on in his head.
“I’m being so dumb right now,” you laughed it off, “I can at least partially blame the alcohol, but I’m just new to this. Hopefully it makes your night a little more interesting.”
“Yeah, you are interesting.” he paused for a seemingly dramatic effect, leaning in closer to you, “I like it.”
He smiled as he glanced from you to the laptop next to him. You had forgotten about the laptop, and the music, and even the party and people around you. You felt lost in the conversation that was happening between the two of you.
He crouched on the floor to look better at the laptop that was set up on the low table, and he motioned for you to join him. All that was on the screen was the music queue, but you leaned in a little too close to get a better look at the words on the screen.
Getting so close to the screen also meant being nearer to Johnny, and when you looked over at him, your faces were closer than you had thought they were. Being so close, you could smell his cologne. The new scent registered in your brain, and it made you realize just how much you had learned about Johnny in the past few minutes.
You had clearly been the one talking more, but you were kind of proud of yourself for even getting this far. You had never really talked to one of your classroom crushes outside of class, not even for group presentations, and being in Johnny’s presence just made you like him even more.
“Do you wanna keep making my night interesting?” he asked, drawing you out of your thoughts.
“Oh!” His words bring out your flustered state again, and you jump back and stand up from where you both had been crouching on the floor. “Um, I’m not really comfy doing anything like that tonight--”
“No!” he interrupted, standing up as well while rubbing the back of his neck, “I didn’t mean it like that…. Just, do you want to keep hanging out? I think the guys set up beer pong outside so you could come watch with me?”
As you saw Johnny sputtering a bit from the mix-up, you felt yourself calm down knowing that he was also capable of being thrown off his rhythm. His words ignited butterflies in your stomach.
“Yeah, sure!”
“Do you, uh, want to go talk to your friends real quick?” he gestured over to your friends across the room, and you looked over to see them trying hard to seem like they weren’t watching the entire encounter, even though they clearly were. You flushed with wide eyes, embarrassed that they were being so obvious.
“Um, yeah,” you tried to laugh it off, “I’ll meet you in the kitchen?”
He gave you a reassuring smile, “Sure.”
You walked over to your friends, who were all grinning at you like idiots and letting out a few victory cheers. Despite your embarrassment, you couldn’t help but feel happy seeing how goofy and supportive your friends were being. They attacked you with an array of questions.
“Tell us everything!”
“Does he seem interested?”
“Did you ask him out?”
“I keep making a fool of myself,” you replied, “But he doesn’t seem put off by it— I think he might think I’m cute.”
“Yes you are!” one of your friends said, “And he’s so hot!!”
She pinched your cheeks and you ducked away, rolling your eyes at their drunken antics. You bid them goodbye and slipped through the party to find the kitchen.
Johnny stood over by the fridge, sipping from a beer can and smiled when his eyes met yours. He offered you a drink, and you accepted a seltzer from the fridge. He gestured toward the back deck, leading you through the back door with his hand on the small of your back. The light touch didn’t go unnoticed, leaving your cheeks warm despite the cold air.
The two of you stood near the railing to watch a few guys play pong. You sipped your seltzer, aware of Johnny’s arm brushing yours as he greeted others hanging around the game.
Johnny was completely at ease here, leaning against the railing with his arm almost around you, his hand brushing your waist. It almost felt like this was a normal occurrence for the both of you. In the back of your mind, you wondered if he did this often. You watched the game and the people around you silently for a while, basking in the world of Johnny and his friends that you somehow got wrapped up in, even just for a moment.
You were pulled out of your thoughts when Johnny slid his arm up to the small of your back. His hand was big and warm even through the fabric of your shirt.
He ducked down closer to your ear, “Hey, you okay?”
His eyes peered into yours, a look of genuine interest crossing his face. You smiled back at him.
“Yeah, I just haven’t been to a party in a while,” you replied, hoping your nerves can be explained away. He didn’t need to know how affected you were by his casual touches.
“Nothing a drink can’t fix,” he said, clinking your cans together with a silly grin on his face. It seemed he knew you were nervous, as he experimented with his touch and kept you close without being overbearing. His casual nature made you even more relaxed.
You went back to watching the increasingly intense game of beer pong, but it was hard to concentrate when you could feel Johnny’s fingers playing with the hem of your shirt. You snuck a look up at him, and while he wasn’t looking down at you, his mouth perked into a smile like he knew you were watching.
The game started to come to a close, with the crowd of people getting bigger and more rowdy. You turned your attention back to the game, watching as one of the guys sank the last cup, leading to an up-roar of cheers on the deck. You couldn’t help but cheer alongside everyone, raising your drink before taking a big sip.
Unfortunately for you, one of the more inebriated partygoers fell backwards into you, causing your drink to spill all over the front of your shirt. The guy didn’t even seem to notice you break his fall, standing up and running back into the crowd, leaving you with a big stain across your chest.
Johnny grasped your forearms, making sure you were upright and okay, his eyes scanning over you to make sure you weren’t hurt.
“Hey, come on, I’ll get you cleaned up,” he says, tucking his arm around your shoulders to guide you through the crowd.
The party is still going strong inside the house, with loud music and dim lights illuminating the swirl of bodies you walk through. Johnny leads you upstairs, which is a lot quieter, despite a few people roaming in and out of rooms. He takes you into the bathroom, gesturing for you to hop on the counter.
He takes a towel from the linen closet, gently dabbing at the stain on your collarbone. His other hand rests on the counter next to you, before resting lightly on your hip to hold you steady.
You don’t think you’ve let out a single breath since he began, watching his face knot into a look of concentration. You wonder if he can hear your heart about to beat out of your chest. Other than the faint pounding of distant music and the buzz of the overhead light, there isn’t a sound to be heard.
His face is so close, you could count his eyelashes if you wanted to. A few strands of hair fall across his eyes and you find yourself wondering what those locks would feel like under your fingers. His hair looks soft.
You get caught up noticing how much he towers over you, distracted by your own thoughts as you gaze at him. You’re brought out of your reverie when his eyes catch yours, a smile appearing across his features. He tucks a strand of your hair behind your ear, causing goosebumps to flutter up your spine.
Johnny steps back and clears his throat, as if remembering himself. He looks down at his handiwork, his mouth quirking at the still-visible stain.
“I don’t think that stain’s coming out,” he says, “Hang on.”
He exits the bathroom for a moment, leaving you alone. You take a deep breath. This whole situation makes you feel like all the oxygen has been sucked out of your lungs.
He reappears less than two minutes later, holding a slate gray shirt that clearly belongs to himself.
“You can put this on if you want,” he says, holding the material out to you.
You don’t notice the bashful look on his face at the gesture, as you immediately start taking off your shirt to put on the replacement. You do however catch a glimpse at the way Johnny respectfully tries to look anywhere but your torso until you have his shirt on.
You smile sheepishly once the fabric touches your skin. The shirt is way too big, with the sleeves coming down almost to your elbows. It smells faintly of him, and you look up to see him staring at you intently. You watched as his eyes traveled down the length of you before coming back up and settling on your lips.
“Is everything okay?” you ask, breaking through the silence that had settled over the both of you.
Johnny clears his throat, “Oh, yeah,” he says, scratching the back of his neck, “You just, uh, look really good in my shirt…”
You can tell that your face is warm, but his confession emboldens you to take a small step toward him, gazing up at his face through your eyelashes. He meets you in the middle, placing his hands gently on your waist as he leans down and brings his lips to meet yours.
You gasp into the kiss, letting every emotion wash over you. His hands are warm as they wrap around you, bringing you close. You rest your hands on his shoulders, letting them wander over the expanse of his chest.
He deepens the kiss, and your hands drift up into his hair. You almost moan at how soft it is. Johnny must know you’re holding back, moving his mouth to kiss down your neck as his hands wander under your shirt to caress your torso. You moan when he starts sucking on the tender skin beneath your ear.
He groans when he hears you let out the sound, lifting you up and setting you on the counter in a rush. He steps between your legs, as your lips meet again, his mouth swallowing your sounds as you try to get closer by wrapping your legs around him.
His hands are close to fondling with your bra under his shirt you’re wearing, and you can feel the bulge in his pants as you let yourself grind against him.
“Johnny…” you mumble between kisses, clinging to him like he’s your lifeline. The mumble of his name spurs him on.
You break apart eventually, breathing heavily as you gaze at his swollen lips. You can’t even imagine what you must look like at the moment.
Johnny slowly removes himself from you and steps back to adjust his jeans with a sheepish look on his face. When he looks back up at you, it’s with a smile.
“We should probably stop here,” he suggests, remembering how you mentioned not wanting to go too far tonight. “At least for now.”
You nod, your heart beating fast at the implication of seeing more of him in the future. He combs his fingers through your hair a bit to help make you more presentable, before reaching for your hand.
The two of you head back downstairs, into the chaos of the party, and you find your friends dancing in the living room. They wave and let out some wolf whistles when they see you walking down the stairs hand-in-hand.
You look back at Johnny, and he grins at your friends’ silly behavior, watching as they call you over.
“It’s cool, I’m gonna go check the music queue,” he says, squeezing your hand one last time before letting go, “I’ll see you in class, yeah?”
You return his smile, “Yeah.”
“And maybe at the next party, too?” he asks with a hopeful tone.
You nod before planting a quick kiss on his lips, leaving him speechless as you turn and slip into the crowd.
When you reach your friends, you glance back to find Johnny back to the corner where you had first approached him. It almost felt like the last hour was a hazy dream, but when he looked up, his eyes found yours immediately, lingering with a small smile on his face.
Not a dream, at all.

The Pirate and his Fairy.
Note: Thank you to everyone who liked the first part of this, hope you like this one just as much, I'm trying to write as much as possible while I'm getting ideas and am inspired because something I've learned while being a writer is I easily get writers block if I don't have ideas constantly flowing on top of that I have ADHD, so I hyperfixate, so I promise I'll do my best to update regularly or above regularly! Remember you can give criticism without being a prick.
Note 2: This universe is separate from 'their good fairy' and 'the pirate meets his fairy' they're apart of the same universe, but I got emotionally attached while writing this one, so sorry peeps!
Summary: Months have passed, but their connection has only grown stronger. But James Hook wants to be more than just a matey to Fay.
Warnings: lots of fluff, tiny bit of angst as in insecurities of not having a hand, bad pirate terminology, and British terminology because I'm a silly American, anyway British/Scottish/Irish/Walish people reading I'm so sorry.
Note 3: part two here.
___________________________________________
The two walked in the forest side by side, making their way to the Enchanted Lake, James had a surprised for the nervous fairy. He'd been planning it for quite some time, but Fay didn't know that. She turned to look at him as they walked and smiled and asked. "So what will we be doing today?"
James let out a deep chuckle as he playfully shook his head at theo so very curious fairy, before turning his hear to look at her as he placed his hook to his lip and said. "It's a secret for now me, Corsair."
He put an arm around her shoulders as he led her down the path to the Enchanted Lake. When they got close enough to the point, they could ever so slightly see the crumbling structure. He went behind her and put his hand over his eyes as he led her closer, gently guiding her so she wouldn't trip on anything.
"Just what did you plan, Captain?" .Fay giggles as she carefully takes a step forward with the help of James to get around. She hears a wolf whistle come from the pirate, clearly telling her she wouldn't be getting any answers from him until they got there.
Then they came to a stop, he had wrapped his other arm around her waist and gently rested the hook on her waist before slowly lifting her hands from her eyes, coming into view is a little wooden boat surrounded by candles wadding in the Enchanted lake, Fay's mouth drops open as her eyes get slightly teary as she feels tears prick into place, she takes in what's in front of her.
James watches her take a step forward and look around at the candles, the flowers, and the emergency boat he'd taken from his Jolly Roger for the day, he cleared his throat.
"Would you like to sail with me?" .He asked nervously as he waited for her answer, she turned around quickly with a smile, before throwing her arms around his neck pulling him close to her as she nuzzled her face against his red trench coat and softly spoke. "I'd love to, but I must add this would be my first time ever riding a boat."
She said the last part quietly as she turned her head to look back at the boat before looking back up at James, he smiled down at her and gently took her hand guiding her to the boat, he got in first, and then extending both of his arms for her to hold onto as he gently guided her into the boat, carefully helping her balance against the water rocking the boat, as he set her down across from him.
James grabbed the paddles and began to row out to the middle of the lake. He allowed a gentle smile to play out onto his face as he watched Fay's eyes light up in amazement, but also a little fear about being out in the middle of the lake, and then said. "You look beautiful, me Corsair."
Fay's cheeks turnt a light shade of pink as she heard him whisper what he thought of her appearance before giving him a shy smile, she then took in how he was no longer wearing his red trench coat and was now in his white button up with his sleeves rolled up, it also made it a lot easier to see his hair that just came to his shoulders, Fay then whispered back. "You look handsome, especially now you look in tuned to everything around you."
James chuckled as his eyes met the fairy's brown eyes as he said. "I'm glad that means I'm a good Captain."
The two talked for what seemed like forever, as if time had stopped and only the two of them existed. They shared stories about their different worlds, things they like, hobbies, everything, then Fay said. "Brave or practical, I want to be a teacher."
James hummed as he crossed his arms and leaned against the side of the boat as he said. "Pratical."
Fay nervously looked down at her lap as she clenched the fabric of her skirt in her fists as she whispered. "I'm a magician?"
She said as she giggled nervously looking away from where James was staring her with a big smile as he said. "Brave."
Fay looked up, his brown eyes meeting hers as she felt lost in the moment. She'd never felt so free before. Being with James always made her feel like anything was possible.
They spent the rest of their time looking around and observing nature while James rowed around the lake, but what they didn't expect was for the wind to pick up, which made the water crash against the little wooden boat, James wasn't very concerned as he'd sailed in far worse weather then just the wind changing coarse, but Fay was another story as she panicked and swayed back and forth uncontrollably not used to the change of environment.
James face hardened a bit because although he was very experienced in rough waters, Fay clearly wasn't as she held onto the side of the boat for dear life and looked at the waves as they became bigger and bigger, this date was slowly turning into whirl pool, what the two didn't expect was for water to crash over the sides of the boat, and land where their feet were, before finally the boat flipped over completely.
James flailed around for a bit in the water before standing up. As he looked around for where Fay went, he felt trepidation over come his entire being as he couldn't find her near, before light tapping came from the flipped boat next to him, to which he tipped back over to find a bone soakened Fay look up at him, he looked her over and asked. "You didn't get hurt, did you?"
Fay shook her head as she smiled up at the pirate who was looking at her with worry, as he continued to look her over before finally being satisfied to find she was completely unscathed, as he backed away he felt something cold splash him, looking up to Fay, she gave him a playful smirk as she splashed him again repeatedly, James decided to give her a tast eof her own medicine as he skillfully splashed her back also using his hook, clearly out doing her as he had years of experience to top her, he smiled as he watched her squirm and cover herself, the two went completely still when they heard. "Hook! I thought you said you saw him over here?"
Fay plugged her nose and went under, Hook looked up and saw Uliana and Morgie making their way over, looking around before spotting him.
"There you are!" .Morgie exclaimed as he made his way closer before giving Hook a confused look. "Why are you standing in the lake and completely drentched?"
Uliana crossed her arms as she stood next to Morgie and observed the situation before speaking. "Well come on we don't have all day."
She said before dragging Morgie off to the secret hide out, Hook gulped as he looked around desperately for Fay he heard a soft splashing sound behind him as Fay emerged from the water and let out fast pants, before giving him a tired smile.
James carefully got her back into the boat and pushed it back to shore before putting the snuffed out candles and paddles inside of it and putting his red trench coat back on before turning to Fay. "I want to see you again tomorrow in town square."
It was more of a demand then asking her out, but Fay nodded and stared up at the Captain as he shook his head back and forth like a dog trying to dry itself, she hummed before saying. "Of course I'll see you tomorrow."
She gave him a quick hug and peck on the cheek before making her way back to Merlin Academy while James went in the opposite direction where Uliana's lair was. He shook himself one last time before walking in where a group of pirates were hanging out at the entrance all nodding when they saw their Captain waltz in, James made his way to the center where Uliana, Morgie, Hades, and Maleficent were sat waiting for him, Maleficent looked up at him and patted the seat next to her, she then said. "You finally made it, I see."
"But why are you soaked?" .She continued with crossed arms as the pirate took a seat next to her. He nodded before looking at Uliana, who was clearly trying to hatch a plan.
James listened as everyone pitched in on ideas. Some he pitched, but his were deemed unworthy of the great sea witch, as she kept trying to come up with a great way to show the AK's they're not just some group of delinquent's.
"What if we smoke bombed the ballroom during rehearsal for castle coming?"
Morgie suggested as he crossed his arms and leaned back against the shell seat that Uliana had put in for decoration, Uliana snapped her finger and laughed. "That's an excellent idea, Morgie."
Once they were finally done setting up the plan, they began to make their way back to Merlin Academy, but while James made his way to the dock where Jolly Roger was tied, he felt someone grab his shoulder, turning his head he saw Morgie give him an uneasy look.
"Look, I saw you, I don't know if Uliana did, I'm not telling you to stop, but you have to be careful." .He said nervously, not wanting to anger the Captain, especially so close to his boat where he could be made to walk the plank, and it's not like the pirate would care they've only known each other for five months.
James nodded as he looked out to sea while standing on the dock before turning back to the Serpentine. "Don't worry, I'll be careful."
Morgie pursed his lips. He watched Hook closely as he ran his hand through his hair before nodding to himself and then turning to Morgie. "Anything else you need, lad?"
Morgie shrugged before leaving the pirate to figure out how'd he'd be even more discreet with the fairy. He made his way aboard his Jolly Roger, before shouting. "Mr. Smee!"
"Mr. Smee!" .He heard a loud thud along with shouting as an older man came out from below and shouted. "Yes, Captain!"
The man made his way over, fixing his red beanie before standing next to James while panting, James looked at the older man and said. "I need my nicer coat for tomorrow. I have something very important to be, you know, the one with the gold buttons."
He said before waving off the older man, as he made his way to his cabin, James looked at the piano that sat in the middle of his cabin, he looked out the big window that stretched from one side of his room to the other, before taking a seat at the piano and began to play 'Cometine D'un Autre Été' about mid way through playing he heard Mr. Smee come in and lay out a brand new button up on his bed alongside the blood red trench coat with golden hems and buttons and a maroon hat with a lavender feather.
James nodded to Mr. Smee and said. "Take tomorrow off, Smee."
Mr. Smee gave him a big smile before rushing out the door, not wanting to test the Captain's patience, James turned away from the piano and looked at what he'd be wearing tomorrow to see Fay.
He got in and began trying on his formal wear before delicately placing the hat on top and staring into the mirror at himself then his eyes traveled to his hook as he lifted it up to view moving his hand in a circular motion, it was apart of himself that he'd always be insecure about because without a hand was he ever truly whole?
Would Fay ever be truly satisfied with him when he isn't even complete himself?
James shook his head and adjusted the coat so it had no wrinkles as he looked to the rest of him, his hair that came just to his shoulders, his cotton button up, the old worn boats he's had for years, his piercings, and back to his golden hook.
He carefully took what he'd wear tomorrow off before putting on a white t shirt and random pants that he'd sleep in. He then carefully took off his hook, placing it on his nightstand and turnt off the lamps in his room and blew out the candles, before laying in bed with his arm under his head as he stared at the ceiling listening to the waves crash against the ship, they weren't as intense as most he'd slept through, but it felt almost like home out at sea, he hoped that one day he'd be able to show Fay the seven seas that were his own.
- the next morning, Saturday 3:35 pm. -
Fay was walking around townsquare, looking through some merchant tent shops that had been put up for the day before heading where name brand stores were. She knew James would show up late as always because he was always distracting his crew mates or VK group from where he was actually going.
She walked down the cobblestoned path and took on the scenery of the urban town. As she passed by a more dark and shadowy area, she let out a shrill squeak before her mouth was covered. She jerked around, trying to escape before a wolf whistle started up behind her, making her realize who it truly was behind her, James separated from her leaning on one side of the alley as she stood in front of him.
James held a paper bag in his hand as he looked at Fay. He then held it out towards her with a grin, Fay carefully opened the bag, reaching in she pulled out a little biscuit, James then said. "It's a sea biscuit. My buccaneers and I eat them all the time on me ship."
Fay smiled up at him as she held the paper bag close as she shivered, James' brows furrowed before he shrugged off his coat and drapped it over her shoulder and wrapped it infront of her, buttoning some of the top buttons, he then looked up to her face, his eyes went from her beautiful dark eyes to her pink lips, nervously he leaned forward as he pecked her lips before deepening their kiss.
Fay's eyes fluttered as she gently brought one of her hands up to his shoulder as she tilted her head slightly to give him a better angle. After what felt like forever in reality, it was a few seconds. James pulled away and rested his forehead against her shoulder as he brought his hand to her waist and held her close to him.
James lifted his head up so he could stare into Fay's eyes as she stared up at him. Her face was now a light shade of pink as she let out soft pants before giving him a big smile as she played with the tips of his hair and whispered. "I'm glad I met you."
She then leaned up and gently pecked his lips as she smiled and relished in how happy she truly was in this moment.

Suicidal Bus Ride
I brushed it off once since accidents happen all the time, but now this is concerning. Looking into the rearview mirror at the elderly man who occasionally wears a smile, I can tell something isn't right. I got a chill when I first entered the bus. Not from the freezing air conditioning, but because Driver Joe didn't seem his usual self.
There was never a day where he would allow his emotions to get the better of him. He greeted every customer with a smile and told us to enjoy our day as we left. But today, he hasn't said a word to anyone. I should know, as I'm the second person on the bus today.
The gentleman seated in the back with gray headphones over his ears has his head bobbing all over the place. Usually, he gets off before me, and Joe would walk back to wake him once we arrived at his stop, but neither of those things happened today.
Carefully, I look at the other passengers, seeing if anyone else feels that something is off. Not everyone is familiar to me, but the gentleman wearing the tailored brown suit seated two rows behind me makes me feel at ease.
“Excuse me.” I wave to gather his attention. Once he looks up, I remove the earbuds from my ears. “Can I ask you a question?”
The man nods and slides into the empty seat next to him. I pick up my belongings—just a leather satchel, and join him. “Hi, I'm Fiona.” I give a quick smile.
“Franky.”
“Are you familiar with our driver? Joe?” I try to be as discreet as possible and lower my head out of Joe's sight.
“I am. Why do you ask?”
“The gentleman in the back was supposed to get off two stops ago.”
Franky looks over his shoulder before going back on his phone. “I don't see the problem. What's your concern?”
Something's weird with Joe, jackass! Is what I wanted to blurt out. But everyone on this bus is living their own lives, and Franky just so happens to be the anxious employee who's always late to work.
“Never mind.” I sigh. “Sorry to bother you.” I take my things and return to my seat. Maybe I'm the odd one. Joe's allowed to have a bad day just like everyone else. I put my earbuds back in and look out of the window, waiting for the landmarks that let me know I'm near my stop.
Minutes pass by. Realistically, it's been six. Franky then gets up and draws attention to himself by saying, “Hey man! That was my stop. Why didn't you slow down?”
Joe. The driver. Never apologizes. Not a word comes out of those pale, chapped lips. He keeps his eyes on the road and actually swerves a little too hard to the left, causing Franky to lose balance.
The mother with a young child seated rows in front of me shrieks at the sudden movement, and a glass from the back row smashes onto the floor. Something’s wrong. I get up from my seat and bang on the plexiglass surrounding Joe.
“Hey Joe!” I call his name. “What's the big idea? You're being reckless with your driving, and some people missed their stops!”
Joe never acknowledges me.
“What the hell, man?!” Franky makes his way up front, completely vexed—and rightfully so. “I'm going to report you if you don't stop this bus right now!” he threatens.
Joe doesn't say a word. Instead, he makes a hard turn to the right and opens the door.
My jaw falls slack watching Franky fall out of the doors. His eyes filled with shock and fear. I squeeze my eyes shut hearing the screeching of car tires behind us. I don't know if he's dead or alive, but the hairs along my arms stand tall with chills along my spine.
Joe just killed Franky! He's not right in the mind! I let go of the triangle hand bar and run to the back of the bus, banging on the windows.
The woman with the young child starts screaming bloody murder, and the remaining passengers finally come to their senses, realizing we're all going to die if we stay on this bus.
The guy who had dozed off to sleep is woken by his head banging on the bus’s window.
“Help us get out of here!” I alert him to Joe going crazy, seeing that we need some muscle if we intend to live.
“Hey!” The young man takes off his headphones and charges to the front of the bus, attempting to fight Joe for the wheel.
I don't know if telling the gym bro made things worse for everyone, but Joe drives us onto a ramp. Next thing I know, we're airborne.
Everything that happens next goes by in slow motion. I see my life flashing before my eyes. All of the things I regretted come to mind—the argument I had with my mother last month, missing my younger brother's graduation to get high with my friends—and for the first time in my life, I don't feel invincible.

Omg yaaas prompts are BACK ❤️ may I pls request number 16 "I missed you like I never missed anyone before." it made me think of the meaning of The Loneliest… what if it’s Damiano coming back from the writing session in LA and showing the reader the song
“I missed you like I never missed anyone before.”
Damiano + angst/fluff
There’s a fog over the airport when he arrives. When you hope he arrives. Worse, yet: Even if he does, you have no certainty whether he wants to see you or not. You can’t even being to describe how that’s making you feel.
You watch as the planes take off and land, one after the other, so many people, everyone with their own little stories, going somewhere, going home. You wonder how many have knots in their stomachs similar to yours. How many are on the way to the unknown. Who aren't sure who will greet them when they arrive. How it might change their lives, or not at all.
The arrivals hall is busy, bustling with people, the sound of suitcases being moved over the smooth floor, announcements echoing, mothers crying, children screaming in play or displeasure, lovers kissing, being reunited or torn apart. You wonder which one will be happening to you today.
The arrivals screen changes to “landed” where his flight is listed. Your heart drops, misses a beat, then comes back to life with twice the force. The uncertainty makes you feel like throwing up. You've always been the type to get queasy with anticipation and nerves. Only, you miss the times it would happen with the widest smile on your face and butterflies in your stomach, happily taking all the physical symptoms in the eyes of the excitement of him coming back home to you. Now it was pure anxiety.
The time until the first passengers walk through the doors and into the hall takes an eternity. It leaves you with too much time to think. Nothing else will occupy your time enough not to let your thoughts drift.
A break. You can’t even recall whose deranged idea it was. A fight that escalated in ways it never had before. You didn’t want to get loud and mean and unfair. Neither did he. It wasn’t about him. It wasn’t about you. It was the situation, it was his job, it was your responsibilities keeping you away from him, it was his accusation of not making enough of an effort and yours of not making compromises. It seemed silly the very second the fury had subsided. But the bad taste in your mouth lingered. A break. A chance for both of you to figure out what you want. A three-week trip away from home for him, three weeks of physical pain from the intensity of missing him.
You can’t count how many times you found yourself wondering if he was missing you too. At all. You had no way of knowing. Both of you had agreed to no contact. Take the time to really think things through. Find out if you still wanted each other in your lives and if yes, in which way. Pure torture. You even refrained from contacting the rest of the band, unwilling to bring any of them into your weird, messed-up situation. Only one message had reached you.
Our flight back gets in at 7 pm tomorrow.
You thanked the heavens for Vic. You still aren’t sure if he knows about the text at all, but that’s the least of your current worries. For now, you’re here. For now, you’re waiting for him.
You hate the way the sliding doors keep closing after each passenger, leaving you anxious and impatient for it to open again, just to see another stranger’s face. You still stare at each and every one of them intently, as if you could find him in their features, or gather any knowledge about him at all.
Ethan appears first. He spots you quickly, to your own surprise, since there are multiple people waiting for loved ones and business contacts and you’ve taken to hiding in the crowd. The fear of getting rejected while standing front row for all of these people to see was too humiliating. Ethan gives you a quick wave, puts his sunglasses on, and leaves. You assume he’s looking for their driver. You passed him by earlier but resigned to standing far away from him.
Thomas and Vic walk through the doors at the same time, she’s animatedly talking, hands moving around as much as possible with a heavy-looking bag in tow, he seems tired and not quite in tune with her energy. He spots you too and you can see him change course, direct his feet toward you, but Vic intervenes, a quick look over her shoulder, a soft smile for you, then she pulls Thomas away.
Then he’s there.
Damiano.
The love of your life. The one that left you wondering if you were his too.
He looks rougher thank you’ve ever seen him. And you’ve been there for a lot. He’s wearing a baseball cap and it’s pulled down into his face so much you would have missed him if you hadn’t been looking out for him in particular. You can still make out the dark circles under his eyes, pale skin that looks like he hasn’t been taking care of himself. There’s no energy in his step and he doesn’t look up.
But you need him to see you.
Stepping forward is all it takes. As if drawn in by an innate knowledge of you being around, he looks up, scanning his surroundings for the first time. It only takes a moment before he’s looking straight into your eyes. He doesn’t hesitate as he sets off your way. Your heart is pounding so hard you’re convinced you’re in danger of passing out.
But then he reaches you, his bag dropped and forgotten, and his arms wrap around you so tightly it feels like he’s attempting to make you a part of him. You don’t resist at all, molding against his chest, biting back the tears you don’t want to see on your face in a public setting.
“I-” His voice is hoarse and he immediately stops himself but you assume it’s not just because he sounds off. His eyes flicker away from your face, unable to ignore the people gawking around you. “Not here. Can I- can I take you home?”
You would love to tell him with a kiss. You nod instead.
Your eyes are scanning over the page, struggling to make out any single thought that has been put down on it, and for once it’s not due to Damiano’s handwriting. Your brain is clouded with panic and fear of rejection, you’ll be the saddest part of me, a part of me that will never be mine, words crossed out and re-written, underlined and hasty, the paper slightly crumpled at the edges, it’s torturous. You’re not entirely sure what to make of it, how to sort your thoughts. When you look up at Damiano from your spot on the couch, he’s pacing.
“I couldn’t write about anything but you,” he finally says. “The break… I wasn’t sure if I would see you again. I was completely prepared to have to beg and cry and fall on my knees for you to give me another chance.”
He crouches down in front of you now, holding out his hands to you. You take them immediately as relief floods his eyes.
“And I… I missed you like I never missed anyone before. And this,” he says, only briefly removing his hand from yours to point to a specific passage, “is all I want you to know.”
Cause I don’t even care about the time I’ve got left here The only thing I know now is that I wanna spend it With you, with you, nobody else here
It’s only when you laugh that you realise you’ve started crying. Damiano looks up at you, startled, already wiping away the tears from your cheeks.
“That’s awfully dramatic,” you say with a smile on your face. Your eyes are still watering but the weight has been lifted off your whole body, not just your chest. You feel so light, you’re convinced anything is possible right then and there. Damiano can’t keep the chuckle in either.
It’s not over. There’s a future. He missed you like you missed him. You can do this.
You grab his head into your hands and pull him toward you, finally, finally, putting your lips on his.
“I love you,” you mumble against him.
“I love you,” he replies.
“Good,” you grin, pressing another kiss on his mouth. “Only promise me one thing.”
“No more breaks?” he offers with a laugh.
“Well, that too, but I thought that was a given.”
“Anything you want, amore.”
“Record that song.”

Wraith Radio Pt. 2
Part 1
“You’re listening to Wraith Radio, your number one link to the living realm. I’m your host, the wandering ghost, Ellie Phantom. It’s day two of my adventure in Gotham City, and I gotta say, today was… wild. Bit of context for those who missed the start of yesterday’s show, long story short, I publicly told the Red Hood that I would wait for him at this place called Park Row so I could take him to a doctor in the ghost zone because his body is bad.
After I ended the show, I got this call from my cousin, Danny. He and his friends back in Amity had been listening, and they think that, because I never showed off any of my powers or anything, and cause I look like any other human, he might not have actually believed I was a ghost. Which, fair, I guess.
So now I’m thinking, ‘well, no big deal, I can just show him my ghost form.’ Buuuuut then I remember the stupid amount of curses and stuff all around this city, and as part of the ghost population who technically never experienced death— no, that time I melted does not count— I’d like to prolong that experience for as long as possible if you don’t mind. Where was I? Oh right, so now I’m thinking, ‘well, no problem, I can just open up a portal, bring him to the zone, and transform there.’ Quick, simple, no problem.
So we come to today. I’m at the meeting spot, it’s five minutes to the meeting time, and I’m sitting on the edge of this rooftop, keeping an eye out for the arrival of the Red Hood.
And then a building blows up.
Right across the street, the top floor of this sketchy run down place I had been staring at, just. Boom! And then I hear all these gunshots, and screaming, and I look down at my watch, and I have about four minutes before noon, so I turn invisible, float over, and poke my head through the wall. Right there, center of the room, I see Batman, Robin, Red Robin, and Red Hood fighting this… I dunno, skinny twink with like a burlap sack over his head? Look, it took me a week to memorize the Gotham vigilante’s names and costumes alone, I wasn’t going out of my way to look up their entire rogues gallery. But anyway, they’re fighting this guy and a bunch of people who I assume are working for this guy, and I see some people tied up in the corner screaming their heads off for no clear reason. I mean, yes, I know it’s scary being tied up by an evil scarecrow of a man, but when I say screaming, I don’t mean ‘please, save me, I’m in distress’ screaming, I mean ‘the soulshredder just sliced through me and now I’m seeing my worst fears manifested in front of my eyes’ screaming.
So I get a little closer, I land on the floor, and just, to go off on a bit of a tangent for a second, the Gotham vigilantes are just. So much taller than me. I felt so incredibly tiny being in the same room as them. Like, yeah, I know I’m short, but I had hoped that I would at least be the same height as Robin, but no. I swear, every time I stand next to someone who’s supposed to be close to my ‘physical’ age, I become more and more convinced that the billionaire who made me had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He brought me to life and was like ‘you’re a twelve year old!’ and I was like ‘you’re right!’ because I had no frame of reference because I was born that morning. Anyway, so I get closer to the screeching humans being held against their will, and I feel this scratchy, almost burning feeling in the back of my throat. I try to brush it off, but then I look down, and I see my body fucking melting.
Now this isn’t be my first time melting, so my first thought isn’t ‘oh god I’m gonna go from half to full ghost,’ or even ‘ugh this shit again,’ but rather ‘why the fuck doesn’t this hurt?’ Because I know exactly what melting is supposed to feel like, and it isn’t a feeling you can just ignore. Like, I can’t really describe it to someone who’s never had every muscle in their body suddenly coalesce into one, with every attached nerve ending screaming louder than a heavy metal band, but trust me when I say that the “pain” I was feeling was barely anything compared to actually melting, like it felt more like my skin was itchy than anything. So, I try poking one of the places where my body is melting— don’t ask me why, I don’t really know why I did it— and instead of feeling ectoplasm drip over my hands, I just feel… my arm. And I realize, ‘oh, not only is this just an illusion, it’s a shitty one.’ Or, y’know, at the very least one that doesn’t work too well on a halfa.
So I shake that off, cause yeah, I don’t like seeing myself melt again, but as long as it’s not actually happening again, I’m good. Plus, if it does start again, I do still have my extra ecto dejectos in my bag, and yes, Danny, I will call you if it actually happens, sorry if I almost gave you a heart attack a few minutes ago. Anyway, I turn back to all the tied up screaming people, and I notice these, like, fog-machine-looking-thing next to all of them, and I get closer to one, and the scratchy feeling at the back of my throat gets worse, so now I’m thinking ‘oh, this must be what’s causing everyone to see things.’ So I turn my arm intangible, stick it into this machine, and I pull out this bottle of just… the worst smelling chemicals I’ve ever been near, which is saying a lot for someone born and raised in a basement lab. But, it stops the fog machine, so I plug it with some stuff from my bag, and pocket it so I can’t smell it anymore. I keep doing this to each of the nearby machines, and eventually the front pocket of my bag is just completely stuffed with gross chemicals.
So that’s over with, and I look over to see if the fight’s done, but no, they’re all still going at it, which means I still can’t talk to Red Hood and get him to the Zone, so I figure I have some time to kill. And I remember that there’s, like, ten or so people tied up against their will, so I start freeing all of them. Obviously, the ropes themselves are really easy, all I really need to do is phase them off. The people, on the other hand, are crazy hard to get to actually do anything other than scream. Like, I try pushing people towards the exit, I try dragging them across the floor, anything to get them to leave the building which is— in case you forgot— on fire. I mean it’s just the top floor, but I’ve heard from Ember that a fire anywhere in the house could be the cause of a human’s death, especially if no one’s watching it, and I doubt that anyone is actually watching that fire.
So now I’m kinda panicking, cause I was hoping the fight would be over by now and all these people would have been brought outside, but not only is the fight not over, I look over and see the bad guy throw these cans over at the people, and I realize that they’re giving off the exact same poison-fog as the machines from earlier. And I’m just. So pissed off. Like, I just took care of that!! For all I knew, that illusion stuff could’ve worn off in a few minutes, and I wouldn’t have to worry about keeping all these people alive!!
Side note— Danny. I get it now. I get the whole ‘desperate need to protect any and all humans’ feeling you were talking about.
They are just… so easy to put into danger.
Holy shit.
Anyway, I’m feeling that whole ‘selfless anger on behalf of strangers’ thing for the first time, and I think it turns my brain off, cause I just pick up the cans and throw them at the bad guys head while yelling ‘FUCK YOU, DIPSHIT!’
And my invisibility drops.
So.
Not my best decision.
But not my worst, because my aim was perfect.
I’m pretty sure I knocked him unconscious, but I’ll be honest I wasn’t really paying attention to that guy anymore because I had just revealed one of my abilities— not to mention I think my eyes were glowing— in front of the fucking Batman. Now, I don’t know if the rumors about him hating metas are true, but I do know that most humans fucking hate ghosts, that I definitely don’t know what he thinks I am, and that I’m not risking my ass to find out. So, invisibility goes back up, and I start to book it before I remember that the whole fucking reason I showed up was to help out Red Hood. So I take a flyer, write “sorry, try again tomorrow?” on the back, and then I get the fuck out.
I wind up flying so fast back to this little hideout I’m staying at that I guess I wound up jostling some things in my bag? Yeah, by the time I get back, I feel this… leaking through my bag. And I take it off, so I can check out the damage, and uh…
Ok, so remember how I mentioned those ecto dejectos I keep on me? Well, I tend to keep them in the front pocket. And the scary-illusion-liquid-stuff was also put in the front pocket. And one of the bottles and an ecto-dejecto hit each other just a bit too hard. And apparently. When these two things are combined. You get… a blob ghost. Who only knows how to melt.
I’ve named him Goop, and he’s the most pathetic creature I’ve seen in my life. He just melts until all of his body is liquid, then it all just blorps back together. He’s solid for like a second, then he starts to melt again. Also he keeps trying to drink the scary-illusion-liquid. I’ve been holding him in my lap this entire time, and while he’s not hard to stop, I do still need to sleep, so if anyone has any advice on how to handle a mutant blob ghost, I’m all ears. Also, if theres any specific way to get rid of mysterious chemicals that honestly shouldn’t exist, please tell me, otherwise I’m just gonna find a sink and dump it.
Anyway, that’s enough about my day, onto things I’ve heard about the city…”
————————
The batfam stared silently at the glowing radio that Jason had brought.
And an unspoken agreement was reached.
Meta, ghost, whatever— this was a child with absolutely no adult supervision, severe trauma, an unknown set of powers, and a ridiculous amount of fear toxin. Not to mention something that she described to be a “mutant blob ghost.”
It was time to do a bit of research into the kid.
Or, it would, were it not for the fact that “Wraith Radio” didn’t seem to exist online, nor did “Ellie Phantom.” It was also likely she used a fake name for her show, since there didn’t seem to be any records of an “Ellie Phantom” anywhere.
Of course, that wasn’t enough to deter them. After all, she herself had mentioned her family.
And so, they began looking into Amity and her cousin, Danny.

So, You've Seen a Bad Play: An Essay
Yesterday I went to see a show.
It was a student production my friend was involved in. I’ve seen student productions in the past and overall, I have been very impressed with them. They’re a showcase for budding talent and intriguing ideas, even if aspects need to be refined. I can’t say any of the shows I’ve seen are bad (all that comes to mind was a production of Measure for Measure, but it was simply that I hadn’t studied the text itself. The production was great and had intriguing fight choreography).
Part of me felt I would do an actual review of the thing, but for the sake of privacy for those involved, I felt I’d rather not. But I still wanted to discuss it, nonetheless.
It was a small-scale production by someone who was not from an Arts and Humanities background, but a medical sciences background. I really respect when artists incorporate their studies and careers, even those unrelated to creative fields, into their work. In my student workshops I’d read one text about a pilot written by someone who was a trainee pilot, and another time I’d read a book that, even if I didn’t like the text, I loved the details that came from the writer being an archivist and imbuing that into the text. It adds a real richness to those aspects that can only be gained from hands on experience, and I love that. I feared that the work I was going to see might be too technical, that aspects may go over my head, but I hoped to go in and appreciate it even if I didn’t fully get it.
I didn’t get it.
But not for those reasons.
Let me set the scene. I’m sat in the back row on pretty standard fold-up chairs with limited visibility due to those in the front two rows, sipping a complimentary cider that came with the ticket I paid for (much needed). Tiny studio room. The writer gets up, only gives an epilepsy warning and promptly sits back down. I make a mental note of how unceremonious of a welcome that is, if you could call it one, but pass it off. Play begins.
In short, the next hour was an incredibly poorly written production. Character arcs were non-existent, things would be introduced then promptly dropped, they wanted to deal with too many environmental and political messages for an hour runtime and all of them fell flat, scenes were poorly established, and the messaging felt non-existent.
But it’s not like I can’t praise aspects of the show. The actors hard carried the production despite the abysmal script they had to work with. If I saw them in another production, I’m sure they could absolutely kill it. And there were interesting things that could have worked if fully incorporated. There was a musical accompaniment for one (1) scene that was very well done and pleasant to listen to and then she just sat in the corner quietly for the rest of the show not to be used again (like multiple aspects of the script, established and ditched). There was a cool little red beep under one of the characters’ tops to act as their heart. They really tried to do things with what little they had.
As a creative, it feels weird to be a critic. Especially one to a student production. I'm always having to clarify that I understand that making stuff is hard because I do it too. Perhaps I'm only harsh because I'm affirming to myself what I want to see out of my own works. I see a thing, I think ‘this could have been better’. and I think about how I'd apply those lessons to my works. It only comes from a deep love for the medium that my critiques are harsh. I’ll always look for good, even in things I don’t like (even if it’s just ‘I think the concept is cool’) because there’s very few things that are wholly bad. Hell, some terrible things can at least be entertaining, which I don’t deny this production was (if not for the reasons it intended). I am a firm believer that one of the worst things a story can be is boring.
I’m particularly harsh on this production because I sincerely believe it was AI-generated.
What doesn’t help is the show all but confirmed it, with an almost 5 minute long in-universe advert for a hospital. Multiple AI voices (man 1 to woman 2) saying effectively the same thing. All it served was to establish setting.
Here’s roughly how I would have done it, in about 30 seconds:
A man walks out in a white coat. He puts on blue gloves and a face mask, and hurriedly walks off stage as CHARACTER A walks on, nervously pacing the hall of the hospital.
There. Done.
Could my friend have told me it was AI-generated? Sure. Thing is, they didn’t know for certain, only that they were paid to work in it (thank God) but thus under contractual obligation to finish the production for pay (they’re a uni student, any money’s good!) And by the time they’d told us to get tickets, they’d come to realize just how bad it would be, and it was too late at that point (student productions can be under tight time constraints).
Thing is, I believe one of the core issues of AI is consent, or lack thereof. I believe that as a consumer, I should have had the right to know what content was involved in this production, and it was up to the production itself to disclose that. Just as people deserve to know any potential content warnings and epilepsy warnings for a show and to make the educated choice to engage with that material as a consumer, I think they also deserve to know if a production uses (or is entirely made with) AI.
Sure it's not going to harm them if they're seeing it, but don't they deserve to know? Because what if next door, there's a small self-produced play written by humans that could change their lives and speak to their souls? Don't they deserve to know that it was made by a person, honestly produced by them?
Little on the webpage communicated that it was AI generated, and the text only appears as such now after I’ve seen the play. If I had known the play used AI, and seemingly was entirely written in it, I would have not paid to see this show. Simple as. I want to support shows written by people.
But now I must grapple with the fact that I paid money to see something made with a tool I have extreme ethical complaints against as an artist and consumer. I have seen one 15-minute play (Caryl Churchill’s What If If Only, a quarter of the runtime) and a free production by Mamoru Iriguchi (What You See/What You Don’t See) and I would much rather have paid the ticket price for those shows which I absolutely loved, than to have seen this seemingly AI production once.
And I think that’s why I wanted to write this blogpost. To remind people that as consumers, we deserve to know if a production uses AI machine learning software. We deserve informed choices. AI probably won't leave anytime soon and might significantly help certain sectors, but right now it’s a wild west and often not used for these purposes to sincerely help people and provide accurate information. And there are those that assume that it democratizes the writing process. On the surface, yes. My mum could put in a prompt and get a script. But the love of labour? No. Not now, not ever. AI devalues artistic processes, and it's insulting to a medium that's withstood all of human history to effectively be told that a robot can recreate it.
But no, it can't replicate heart. It can't replicate real human experience.
In a strange way, seeing this production is somewhat affirming. I struggle with writing. Sometimes it’s just the act of getting up to write after a long day or a late night. Other days it’s harder stages (editing for example). At some points it’s having the ideas and having little way to communicate them. At times it’s just the isolation of it all and the compulsion to just scroll through my phone- I’ve written best when I’m working with others at times, even if those people aren’t writers!
Writing for me has been a struggle, and it’s a struggle I’m still overcoming. I’m still discovering who I am as a writer, what works for me, what stuff I want to produce. And there’s those times when I manage a good session, or an idea burns in me like fuel, or I make people’s eyes light up with the stuff I’m producing. That’s when I know the reasons I struggle. It’s because I can’t suppress the urge to make stuff, and I don’t want to live a life I’d regret in not at least trying to make cool things.
I’ll probably make bad things. First drafts and such that aren’t good. I’ve made bad things in the past, absolutely!
But I chose that struggle.
And if this play can exist and be produced, then the only thing really holding me back is myself. Seeing things like this galvanizes me to push on and make the things I care about.
And I will them with my own hands.
