(attention humans I am not a fan of any creators associated with the mentioned fandom anymore, I stopped watching them years ago and do not support any of the bad things they may have done or said since then. creators are talked about only for the context of a cool concept/headcanon I saw. I know this is all unnecessary but I just want it to be clear. Also mutuals if you're seeing this pls don't feel like you have to put up explanations like this too I just overthink <3)

so excuse my early 2020s but I remember back then when minecraft manhunt was kinda in its prime there was all the fan stuff and blah blah blah and basically there was a certain point in time where like 2 thirds of the animatics and everything depicted this concept of using of things like strength potions too much over time increasing aggression (usually depicted as a cause for all the killing of friends Green Man did during the manhunts) that I found really cool and I really feel like that idea died off before it could really be explored fully. This idea was so prevalent especially in animatics and then it just. Dissappeared. Poof. Gone. And it honestly makes me quite sad because that's SUCH an interesting thing to think about, the way frequent use of different potions can leave lasting effects on a player over time, and there was this massive fandom who picked up on that idea and had it woven into everything they made, but then they all suddenly just forgot about it for some unknown reason. It's at this point I wish I could animate or write to explore that concept further with other mcyt fandoms because it'd be so so interesting and would make for some really good fanfic opportunities honestly. Insert end of ramble here because it felt too abrupt and can't think of anything to put

Gift Requirements:

Writing - 1.5K word count minimum (if you intend to write multiple chapters, you must have at least 2/3 of your total story written by posting period and the first chapter must be no less than 800 words long. Also please let mods know in the Discord if you plan more than one chapter.)

I've already been out of my mind busy for the past few months, and with midterms happening and my thesis defense soon I may not be super active here for a bit.

As it stands now I'm not leaving this blog. This has been my home for the past few years and I love the story too much to let go. I will assess how I'll talk about Tommy/Phil/Tubbo etc going forwards based on their responses, lack thereof, info on what is and isn't allowed to be said legally, etc.

Okay I lied.

This genuinely disgusts me to my core. Can we all agree that what used to be the dsmp was and is just problematic as hell?

I mean yes, there are people who have done little to nothing wrong. But the main people that the viewers watched, that being William Gold and the so called dream team, they’re horrible. They’re abusers. They took advantage of the naivety of young girls. 18 year old girls. If that’s not fucked, i don’t what is.

Now just to take a second to address this, I don’t count Punz in all of this. At least he was respectful and responsible when he handled his situation. Both he and Andi were in a mutually toxic relationship. His situation is a completely different story.

I know so many mcyts and just overall people have come out about this. All of them agree everything that is going on is idiotic and horrible. How people can still support those who have had stuff come out against them, I have no clue. Obviously they don’t see how stupid this shit is. I hope they find the help they need to understand that these are not good people.

Now I may have left the ‘dsmp’ fandom, I was still interested in certain groups. One of them was the dream team. After hearing what George did, and that Dream and Sapnap supported him, it was gross. I supported the sorry boys. I still support some members, but William Gold is not one of them. He deserves every loss in fame, money, and self worth he got.

But this is still not about me, or you, or any of us. We may have been victims of their lying and manipulation, but the real victims are those they hurt personally. Caiti, Shelby, Alice, everybody. They deserve your support. I cannot stress that enough. Go support victims, please.

I’ve also seen stuff saying that Shelby was in acting classes, and how it ‘makes sense’ to imply she’s lying. If that is true, then why have so many of his exes come out against him claiming the same, if not similar, damn things. Why would so many people lie about abuse? Yes Shelby may not have the best reputation, and yes, Alice may not have the best videos or account, and yes, Caiti and George may have both been drunk, and yes, these victims are not perfect people, but that does not lessen the abuse a bullshit they went through. They still went through what they went through, even if they aren’t a perfect fucking angel.

So please, go support victims. Go be a somewhat decent human being. Please.

favourite season (so far) of HC and Life Series?

Oh man you guys picked some hard questions LMAO

For hermitcraft, I love all the seasons for various reasons but season 7 is my favourite so far if I had to pick one. However please note that season 10 is shaping up to be something that may overtake that. Everyone seems to be having so much fun and there are specific things that cater to my interests (scar and etho interactions, pearl etho tango basing together, tango and etho doing redstone together, Joel is here, iskall is active and messing with people, etc)

As for the life series, that's definitely much harder to choose haha

3rd life was the start of it all and the specific way everything crumbled and no one knew what was coming was amazing. Also desert duo got me into mcyt properly so I gotta give them credit.

Last life had the snowfort and the mutual one-sided ethubs love confessions.

Double life stuck with me because. I'm a little mentally ill about boat boys. But pearls arc was also insane. Favourite winner story-wise definitely.

Limited life.

Secret life cletho had something going on that I will always be thinking about. They got together with a spur of the moment decision and didn't leave each other until the end. Etho is cleos favourite. Etho risked his reputation with the other boogiemen and their lives to protect cleo's.

Hey so! If it wasn’t somewhat clear from my lack of qsmp fanart in months and my posts on other fandoms, and especially after today, i am stepping away from all of the mcyt fandom! I don’t hate it now, but i cannot stand the amount of bullshit that has been happening. I wish Quackity nothing but love and i hope he can have a better time when all things are resolved.

I may still reblog art/posts my mutuals make that are mcyt related but do not expect much from myself. I’ve had fun for the most part but i can’t look super fondly back anymore.

And again this isn’t me trying to say i’m focusing on “better” fandoms i’m just moving on and i think mcyt does have a very lovely side!! Hope qsmp continues on! And thank you quackity for making such an amazing project!! <3

I know qsmp posting was kind of what i became known for, but it does nothing but hurt my mental health now. Unfortunately this has made me start posting much less but i mean all good things have to end eventually. That chapter of my life closed and out comes a new and hopefully eventually better one.
