Hasan S/O // Streamer!gf

one of my personal faves, so more is probably to come.

Peacefully exists in her own little corner of the internet, think variety, art or wholesome gaming streams.

Has a small but very wholesome and tight community and she works very hard to keep it that was. Zero tollerance for any hate or bullshit.

Meets Hasan through some Twitch related event where a mutual friend introduces them. bestie!Will maybe 👀

She's definitely intimidated by him at first, but once she gets over that they hit it off instantly.

They live really far apart (other side of the country or maybe even a different continent?) so at first it is just a long distance friendship kind of thing.

They are constantly texting or chatting on Discord, even during streams. Either of them has their phone in their hand? The other definitely just texted them.

Once they are actually in a relationship people figure it out so fast because suddenly Hasan is in her city very often and she always stays in L.A. forever whenever there is an event she attends.

Either that or Austin accidentally leaks their relationship on his Instagram or just by mentioning it on stream.

Speaking of Austin, he asks her to appear on any of his shows and she will say yes without even knowing what she is saying yes to. Bonus points if she gets to compete against Hasan.

She tries playing co-op games with Hasan on stream, but it just always results in them yelling at each other or them both getting hella distracted and getting nothing done.

So instead they just make tierlists and look at dumb videos together.

Also IRL streams where they go on little trips together (and sometimes with Kaya as well)!!!!

Totally moves to L.A. to be closer to Hasan, but will deny that and gives a dozen other dumb reasons when people ask: "The weather is way nicer", "All my friends live here", "I really love being stuck in traffic no matter where I am trying to go". The list just gets more and more unhinged.

She does move into Hasan's place like four months later though.

After that she probably is on his stream a lot, "just to hang out with Kaya".

Can totally see her hanging out in his chat waiting for him to notice. Or using clips to communicate with each other.

They’re in the library cramming, as one always finds themselves doing during finals week; him for Planar Theory, her for Anatomy and Mending. And she knows she’s going to fail it, keeps dreaming that she opens the test booklet and discovers the whole thing is in Magid, or it’s the wrong unit, or the paper turns into a swarm of bats and flies right into her face.

And Red is a little bit of a flirt—this is well-established, mostly with people who find her an adequate shoulder to cry on after the fact, though she hasn’t joined their ranks quite yet—but even with how casual and unassuming he is about it, he’s never done so with her.

He asks what she’s studying, and she tells him it’s the parts of the hand, though at this point it’s reduced to flipping through her endless stacks of index cards and wishing for a proper diagram. And he says well, you could just show me, and holds out one of his hands.

She takes it, and it’s still unmarked, tan skin not yet scarred and callused from a decade’s worth of discovery, though someday it will be. Here are the formerly scraped knuckles and shadowed arteries running alongside taut tendon lines, the entire history of his exploration all in one place.

“If you want my opinion,” he says afterward, fingers still resting in hers, “I think you’re going to ace it.”

And she hadn’t expected him to pay attention—medical terminology is hard enough for Healers to memorize, let alone those studying an entirely different discipline that only happen to be in the same space —but seven years later they’re out for lunch again in the café. He’s through one and a half sandwiches, and she’s barely managed two sips of tea, but the conversation has always been the point of it, and she doesn't mind letting things settle. Somehow they’re on the topic of exams, the way they were half-killing themselves over knowledge but somehow in love with it all the same.

“I remember plenty,” he insists, the third variation on this particular theme.

“I’m not claiming you were completely oblivious,” she says. “Simply that you had plenty of your own projects to consider.”

And she always knows when something has caught his interest; a little light flares up in his eyes, and he leans forward, suddenly regarding you like you’re the most engaging thing in the world. “Really,” he says lightly. “Try me.”

He holds out a hand. After a moment she extends hers across the table. He takes it, turns it over carefully like she’s one of his precious artifacts, then bows his head and recites distal, medial, proximal--

“All right,” she says afterward, “maybe you do remember.” And he’d smiled at her over the rim of his teacup in a way that was familiar, and yet strangely not at all.

Is he guilty? If so, would we still do unholy things with him (duh, obviously)? Or is he just an innocent little guy and only guilty of cheating and murdering pussy? Paying my Rusty tax for inspiration ✨

Hi there hi!! Thank you so much for asking dude that's so considerate of you, I'm smiling like a loon whenever I see a little ditty about Jake going around 😊.

Oh yeah, so Rustholomew Jones Sabich the third is a full on useless man. And he expressed it multiple times in so many ways. The first thing we see is him looking for his phone first thing in the morning. What a dumb thing for a cheating man to do, lose his phone even in his own home. And then he asks someone to call it and it's his daughter that does so. Even for a little joke all I saw was chekovs gun.

Okay so I got insanely curious about the original after Jake's recent interview and watched it tonight and gosh yeah I'd recommend if you haven't seen it for Harrison's voice of nothing else, but in the movie there's a segment where he, Sabich, spells out the prosecutor's theory on himself and it's exactly what everyone sees in the new version. A jealous man driven mad with love and obsession pushed too far when left for another man. It's basically what's teased in the new trailer.

But what's different is the circumstances of the wife's role. I have 3 very specific moments I want to focus in on, this one:

The two times Rusty and Barbara look to each other with smiles on their faces and in the worst circumstances. One while on trial in front of the family and the other while presumably blowing up his mistress' phone on family night. One thing that immediately came to mind was huh. That's weird. Then this

Here she's saying that He and Her will fight to save their family. And he's puppydogging along as culpable as all hell doing his due repentance to save his family. As he should but also as he has no other choice because I believe that the murderer is his daughter or son. I'm leaning towards daughter as she didn't exist in the movie, she's an added layer to the plot directly drawn attention to 3 separate times in the trailer.

So what I think happens is this. Carolyn and Rusty begin their affair and it goes south, my instinct is something happens between Rusty's phone, his daughter and Carolyn to cause the strife. On the night Rusty texts her 30 times the daughter is there confronting Carolyn and struggle maybe?

Either way Carolyn is dead the daughter is responsible and now Rusty and Barbara have to close ranks. Rusty poses her in like a victim in a prior case to throw the cops off the trail.

To shine a bright suspicious spotlight on Rusty. To make it look like a multitude of things. It could be a prior killer seeking to mess with authorities and Rusty; it could be someone framing Him with the case they began their affair during; it could be rusty himself messing with the crime scene to mess with motive, (something the prosecution accuses him of doing in the movie). But really it's all a red herring to cover for his daughter and falling on the sword one way or the other. Either covering up a murder he's responsible for to protect his daughter or go to jail for a crime he didn't commit for his daughter.

I won't spoil the movie or who the killer is in it but hoo boy does it hit hard with an ending monologue and epilogue. I definitely wouldn't be surprised if the modernizing done was from the murderers standpoint. Either way I'm hoping for a good mystery over audience subversions.

There's something about pathetic men and the power trips they go on when they think they've found a space they can lose all the tie ups and inhibitions and insecurities. The euphoric rushes that come with secrets and taboo midnight confessions, panted and whined and gasped into a lovers mouth. The stinging ache of shame that splatters across his chest and cheeks as he's tied up and torn into like a present for a greedy hand make him feel that same warmth he used to get from being a good man and husband.

The sharp hatred and ragged words he fucks into Carolyn's more than accepting places feel like a balm on his soul. Not just the filthy things he says to her, or the shapes he folds her into, or the marks only he can leave are enough for men like him. They eat their obsession whole. Consume them to fill up all the hollow places they themselves carved into their life.

And that's what some men do. Use up the women in their lives in every way, stealing their life force ala Gone Girl like @ Stephendorff mentioned. It'd be beautiful poetry if after discarding his wife for Carolyn, and Carolyn for his daughter, that he pays that price.

But that's just a theory a game- no, no it's too soon. Sorry matpat it's too raw. Thanks you again Daphne! Hope I didn't let ya down and you liked the theory lolol😅

2015 season summary

FINALLY! Sorry this took so long, but as you know I was drowning in classes and thesis writing. Now that it’s done let’s get back to it, starting with the 2015 season summary.

Winning his second title really put Lewis at ease at Mercedes. He’s relaxed, he’s comfortable, he’s confident. He turned 30 during the break. His relationship with Nicole finally ended for good. He talks about growing up, enjoying every day. He’s doing even more beside racing than before (and yes, it starts discourse again). In particular in the first half of the season there’s also a recurrent theme of him wanting to be a team leader (but maybe he also means first driver, he is out of a contract at the end of the year after all).

Lewis is maturing for sure, but he’s not fully grown yet. There’s no big drama during the year, though. Nico is unhappy with Lewis in China and then there’s a couple of arguably aggressive starts in Japan and in the USA. Things are pretty chill overall. Mercedes is dominating (except for that horrible mistake in Monaco and the struggle in Singapore) although Ferrari comes through here and there. And in the team, Lewis is on top. Easily. 11 poles, 10 wins.

But 2015 might just be the eye of the storm between two spicy seasons. Nico is on pole for the last 6 races, and although he’s only able to convert them into wins once Lewis has won his third title, the shift is palpable. As soon as he feels it, Lewis' attitude changes as well. He’s less positive, more defensive. As I was saying he’s not there yet. Maybe he just can’t be wise in the face of Nico. Maybe these two just bring the worst out of each other and that’s all there can be. (After all Nico also showed he can’t take the high road either with cap gate.) At the end of the year, Lewis shields himself from the questions with his third title (“I think being world champion sounds a lot better than winning the race.”), but that won’t work anymore once the next season starts 👀

Other important events of 2015 are the RBR - Renault engine issue, and also Max’s F1 debuts. Everybody is already adamant he’ll win a championship someday and indeed, he is very impressive.

Now let’s see if the storm indeed resumed in 2016 (but yes. yes it did. we all know it did.)

6. Monaco GP : Lewis pole. Hill has to swallow his words about him being too distracted. Great Lewis x Thierry Henry segment. Big crash then terrible strategy decision. P3.

7. Canadian GP : Lewis pole. Boring first half then slightly less. Lewis win. Bono lost his dad.

8. Austrian GP : Lewis pole. Bad start. A terrible scary crash. Some stupid mistake. P2.

9. British GP : Lewis pole (yes, still). Lewis drifting with Johnny segment. Horrible start but good race. Lewis win. He is absolutely buzzing.

10. Hungarian GP : Lewis pole. Minute of silence for Jules. Terrible start. Suspenseful but bad race. Lewis P6. (Bonus : “you’re very quiet Bono”)

11. Belgian GP : Lewis pole, for a change. Lewis win. The crowd chanting his name. Talking about retirement. Finally admits he might win the title again.

12. Italian GP : Bleached blond Lewis! And guess what? On pole. Lewis interview. Rowing competition. Weird, weird end. Lewis win. Nice cooldown room / podium.

13. Singapore GP : Lewis surprisingly not on pole! Mercedes is struggling. DNF. Also someone is walking on the track? (Bonus : Seb being a flirt)

14. Japanese GP : Nico pole + interview. Aggressive start. Alonso’s “GP2 engine!” Kinda boring race. Lewis win. Matches Senna’s record. Nice sewis podium.

15. Russian GP : Nico pole. Briatore talking about Lewis. Crash start. Another bad crash. Lewis is a good man. Lewins win. Gayest sewis scene I’ve seen so far. Ferraris getting strong. It finally truly dawns on him he might win a title again. Controversial WCC decider.

I've put so much effort into worldbuilding and ironing out details and yet I have no fic to prove it 🥴🥲 I have a pinterest and a playlist, fake lil instagrams, a notion spreadsheet, and so many quotes and small segments but not a single completed chapter AHAHA this fic has been like nearly three years in the making and there's fuck all to show for it 😌 it's very rich kids with rich kid problems but also queer young person problems what a time honestly

jackie is the new kid, so good at her craft she's there on a sporting scholarship, so unbothered by the whole vibe of everyone else on the team. she's quick to make friends with crystal, who shows her the ropes to surviving college with the team. in turn, jackie teaches crystal some important lessons. she doesn't get along with gigi, she knows gigi hates her but she doesn't have the energy to give a fuck about it which pisses gigi off even more. she knows jan also doesn't like her, but in all honesty, she doesn't really care enough about that either. she's there for the degree and swimming keeps her entertained

jan is the overachieving, hard working team captain -- real take no shit, I'm going to the olympics even if it means I have to drown you. she's popular and well liked although she's known to be very overbearing, she works hard and her position has never been threatened until jackie's arrival - cue sexy tension. jan and gigi have been best friends since childhood, they know what the other is going to say and do before it even happens, they have no idea what they would do without each other

gigi is jan's best friend, she also works super hard but isn't has nice or over the top about it, she has a rep for being a bit of a blonde cunt. she doesn't have time for people who aren't worthy of her time. she hates jackie with an absolute passion, which is a problem considering they have most of the same classes. her soft spot is crystal, her sweet girlfriend who she would do anything for. gigi knows swimming isn't her forever, but she's gonna milk it while she lasts -- she's well perceived on social medias and always has a brand deal under her belt

crystal has just been dropped from the team post injury, she's just had shoulder surgery and knows that her swimming career is over. she watches and supports her team from the stands, even though it kills her to watch them go on without her. crystal and gigi have always done swimming together, and now that she's out, crystal isn't sure that they have that much in common. crystal and jackie quickly become friends as the two outsiders of the group, with crystal giving jackie litle tips and tricks on how to become 'part of the team'. crystal loves jackie's view of swimming as a hobby and not a lifestyle, and it's an ideology she has to adopt herself

nicky loves everyone -- she gets in and gets the job done and will always suggest smoothie bowl dates after training. she's good friends with jan and gigi but isn't as intense, but she's super close with crystal, they're the team idiots who have a real protective streak for the other. she's a bit standoffish towards jackie at first, but warms up to her in due time. she's often caught hitting her head on the wall because she's too busy staring at a certain diver

I just finished ST4 Volume 1 and uhm. I'm so sorry but that was literally so smart I'm 🤯. Idek where to start. The way that they so subtly created a through line without us even NOTICING. However when he was talking about hating the way the world works and how he had to kill people to break the world pattern there was this tiny part of me that was like maybe he could've just been some version of straightnt and it would have broken like 2/3 of it? The youngifying technology they used for Little El was a little funky like you could slightly tell but it got the job done good enough. It was so smart how they flipped the What Did You Do line completely around from the first to last episode. Also hate how El gets taken advantage of literally every time tho. Anyways. The way that they flipped the thing with Nancy around was very cool because the way that I literally didn't even think of that still having an a/effect on Nancy. Also also I thought it might feel weird that they're kinda redoing the whole Steve and Nancy thing but it feels kinda natural. Like how if things had been solid with Jonathan, I could totally see Nancy shutting it down and completely ignoring but because it isn't, she's kinda 👀. And the way that they had Eddie tell Steve that Eddie came because he didn't want to be the one that stayed but Nancy did NOT HESITATE. Also glad Steve didn't out Robin when he accidentally could have. Also kinda hate how Dustin has been treating Steve this season tho like that's one of your #1 teammates yknow? Kinda wish we got to see more of the Mike and Will gang in the last episode like we could have had like just a small 5 minute segment of them trying to come up with a plan of what to do when they got there. OH AND when they were digging the hole for Agent Guy and Will just looooked at Mike??? I'm 😥. And then the double conversation they had about Mike being afraid to tell El how he feels because she might not feel the same and that conversation is coming from WILL??? Oh and I like how Murray and Joyce figured out how to flip their situation and find a way in to save Hopper and Im also kinda glad his friend(?) didn't die but also kinda have mixed feelings about it. Oh and I know its a nitpicky thing but they literally say the gd word sooo many times this season. Kinda wish they'd just let them say fuck honestly. Sorry this is literally an entire novel. All in all very good, very much anticipating the last 2 episodes :)

YAAAH its reallt crazy how much follows through from ep one to ep seven and im interested to see how things wrap up in the last two episodes. i kinda also feel like they couldve ended it at ep7 anf it wouldve stood alone as a cliffhanger or something LOL. i was really surprised at how fun it was to watch bc i thought it was going to be just kind of confusing and bad after s3 fhdhsghdajs. also i agree abt the dustin/steve thing they made dustin like actually just straight up mean to him and its not fun to watch at all. i kind of wish wed gotten more of henry/one because hes really cool and i like the set up that he specifically chooses people who did something ‘wrong’ to go after and how those things relate to each character. its really interesting overall!!!

my thoughts: good ship! i like both their platonic dynamic and their romantic dynamic. i enjoy asoryuu content, but they're not deep in my head like a real otp

what makes me happy about them: their dynamic. that warmth, trust. and later, the angst that could erupt from asougi unleashing what no one should have seen and feeling really guilty about it. along with other trauma that i can't really express in words

what makes me sad about them: the entire year ryuu spent without kazuma. grief and guilt leading to building up an ideal asougi that exists in ryuu's head. idealization is something ive experienced too, so it really hits home

things done in fanfic that annoy me: when post-canon asoryuu long fics are done without barok in mind. both ships have their dynamic at the same time and can coexist. one of them may turn platonic but even then...

things i look for in fanfic: like for all fanfic, good plot, characterization and writing!

who i'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: hmm. i could see ryuususa working out wayyyyyyy later on. baroaso obviously, as well as baroryuu. maybe at some point kazuma and gina could have a friends with benefits relationship. (all of them post-canon)

my happily ever after for them: they work it out post-canon and find ways to marry each other. obviously

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: going for some beef stew and just talking about whatever they want. and flirting in court. and

when i started shipping it if i did: after that photo with their swords in the newspaper. i just thought that they understand each other wordlessly, battle together.... ah

my thoughts: i have MANY THOUGHTS. baroaso is a really, really slow post-canon burn, it takes time for them to trust each other and to overcome each other's trauma and prejudices. most recent thoughts: in dgs2-4 kazuma moves and hides several things in the office to annoy barok if he returns

what makes me happy about them: the fact that kazuma talked barok out of resigning from being a prosecutor. their whole segment after dgs2-5's trial actually...

what makes me sad about them: there's too little canon barok and apprentice content. these three months are a huge step in barok's arc of overcoming his racism - he knew his apprentice was japanese, but still taught him and was nice to him. probably fighting with himself to do it.

things done in fanfic that annoy me: for their ship specifically? none, really. but i remember seeing in one asoryuu fic that kazuma hates building scale models. NO HE DOESN'T.

things i look for in fanfic: besides the things i mentioned above, that slow progression from mistrust to trust. and obviously my favorite tropes, if that's even the right word - hurt/comfort and whump (aka sickfics)

who i'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: baroryuu and asoryuu. would say vanlock but vanlock is a divorced long ago ship

my happily ever after for them: they work through their trauma together, iris develops b12 injections and kazuma finally gets barok off alcohol. as a result, barok dies at the age of 60, not 40+

who is the big spoon/little spoon: they switch, but barok is a little spoon more often than not

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: i think they would be the ones out of the whole herlock found family to understand law. and probably politics. so having pointless debates about that.

I agree with you about the lying and denying that was the only thing I felt they should've done differently but as far as announcing or even posting each other I like that they didn't imo it's just inviting people to you rs I think that it's fine for married couples to post each other but honestly I think even going ig official is kinda cheesy like it's mainly z list celebs that do that no offense to tom but when he and N did matching posts I found it a little cringe a listers rarely do that

Well, TZ did actually post each other (esp for birthdays), but they did it in such a way that some could conclude that they were just "friendly co-stars" supporting each other lol. They were basically dating each other in plain sight, but under the guise of being "just friends" as far as I'm concerned.

However, some would argue that Z posting that video of them just chilling in the hotel room together with Tom singing by the window, and Tom posing Z's Met Gala look before she even posted herself (mind you 😏) for example, were all pretty sus when you think back on it lol. 😄😅 Plus, the fact that she was always wearing his clothes... like, c'mon..... 😏

Anyway, I don't need the timed, in-sync posts like Tom did, but I can def see why he did it that way. Tom has a segment of his fanbase that is rabid lol, and I'm sure he wanted to ease his fans into knowing that he was dating someone else. I'm sure he was also taking a risk as well, cuz he's prob been encouraged (by his team) to "appear single" so that the millions of little teenage girls who have dreams of marrying Tom Holland, and have cardboard cutouts of him in their rooms (lol) won't freak out and hurt his popularity lol. 😆 🤣

So, it's def a very fine line to tread, and I can understand why he was cautious (esp after what happened on July 17th 👀 ). Even so however, he never tagged her in his post, so only those who were following both him AND her had to know and put two and two together. Thankfully, we here on tumblr already called it long time ago that he was dating her, so when he posted her for the first time in late June, it wasn't a surprise to US. 🤷🏾‍♀️ It was just more so a confirmation.

With that said, I don't have anything particularly against couples posting each other, as long as it's discreet. Instead of mushy posts, I actually prefer fun, goofy, and hidden confirmations on IG that two ppl are together. 😄

For example, if Z had posted a picture like this (below) of her and Tom, and cut Darnell and Jacob out, and made some cute little caption about her and Tom, then that would kind of be like a cool way to kind of confirm smthg w/out being too mushy, cringe, or overly obvious with it, ykwim? 🤷🏾‍♀️

Fans (who follow her closely) would be able to get the hint about the two of them without it needing to be spelled out in other words lol. 🤭

And personally? I think that Tom's posting of Zendaya at the Met Gala was pretty much as close to claiming Z as we were gonna get at that time lol (outside of the yearly birthday posts of course 😏), and to me, that was (yet again) another discreet way to kind of claim her without actually spelling things out. I haven't seen him do that for any other female co-star (let alone any female "friend" or actress PERIOD), so to me that was actually pretty huge.... but again, it was discreet enough that they could hide it all under the guise of just "really good friends who are co-stars" lol. 😏

And obviously, Z didn't mind him "claiming" her, cuz she didn't do any Damage Control, or tell him to take his post down lol. 🤭😅

So anyway, basically what I'm saying is, I don't mind celebrities being super private, but at the same time, I don't mind if they want to discreetly let us know that they are involved with someone either. I prefer discreet and non-obvious signs, as opposed to more "out there" signs. But maybe that's just me? 🤷🏾‍♀️
