Hello! Idk if you've gotten a response about the kendrick v drake thing im a bit biased (ive hated drake for years lmao) but an abridged version boils down to this: k-dot (kendrick) made a song where he dissed other rappers that was meant in good fun, drake resident insecure bitchboy took it personal and made several sort of subliminal disses toward him, drake did a song with j Cole about how they (drake, j and k dot) are the current big 3 of rap, kendrick didn't like that and made a song saying there's no big 3 it's just him. J Cole made a diss (?) Against kendrick but walked it back within like 2 days saying that he didn't feel right dissing kenrick as he feels he's authentic and talented. Drake ended up releasing his own diss (I don't remember how many songs exactly) basically egging on kendrick to diss him back kendrick releases a diss on drake basically saying he uses the black community for his own ends, that he's a liar and a fake, and that kendrick literally hates him like DESPISES HIM (me too). He tells drake not to lie about him or else he'll expose him essentially, he releases another song that basically says more or less the same thing. Drake responds and in drakes diss he accuses k dot of beating his fiance and possibly cheating on her, he also calls him short a bunch of times, kendrick then releases another song that essentially goes through drakes whole family apologizing to some and accusing some of being why drake is the way he is. In this song he accuses him of being a deadbeat dad hiding a daughter, of being a pedophile and hanging around pedophiles, and that drake is a misogynist and horrible human being. He then releases another track again saying point blank that drake is a pedo, but this time it's a dance track so he's essentially dancing on drakes grave. Drake releases his response which is a VERY badly written mess where he accuses kendrick of "taking the bait", gets defensive about anything having to do with minors its basically a whole mess of a song that's riddled with holes and is very clearly drake having a meltdown, in the end is a spoken word piece where he very clearly sounds exhausted and its giving "i dont wanna play anymore". There are some other side things that happened and have happened since but overall that's the gist of it. If you want it in more detail there's several youtube videos going over the beef, and there's a song list on reddit with every relevant song having to do with this whole beef as well. I highly reccomend listening to the songs in order as you can see it ramping up but if not then just listen to kendricks bc they are 100% worth it.

Sermon of The Signless Sufferer - The Sun Will Rise

It has been a dark twenty-four hours. For those who reside not only in the United States but also for those abroad, it is a scary time. You may feel a mix of emotions - fear, anger, sadness, or perhaps no feeling at all. Whatever emotion you may be feeling, you are allowed to do so. Cry, scream, mourn, in whatever way you wish to express them. It is a challenging time for us all. 

As we navigate what the next four years will hold, there will be trials and tribulations. You may feel like there is no hope left in the world. But you must not give up. You must live. To our trans and queer siblings; to our BIPOC kin, and those with disabilities of all kinds; you must live. Fear and despair are what those in power feed off of; they prey on us like a leopard stalking its meal. They want us to give in, to lose all hope for the future. But you must survive. Not only for yourself but also for your loved ones, those in your community, and those you may not even know. It’s a “fuck you” to what those in power stand for. You are a dandelion in the cracks of pavement, bright and flourishing in a dim world that wants to erase you.

That isn’t to say that there won’t be a fight. We must gather and organize, finding alliances in even the most unlikely of places. We shall follow the teachings of The Signless Sufferer: compassion, forgiveness, and equality.

We shall be compassionate to ourselves; rest when rest is needed, and treat our souls and bodies with care and respect. We shall be compassionate to others; caring for those who are cast the most judgment and uplifting those who are struggling.

We shall forgive ourselves; not focus on the smallest mistakes, and instead make peace with them. We shall forgive others; no one is 100% perfect, and there is always room for growth.

We shall preach for equality from now until the end of time; no human or troll, beast or being, should ever feel the pain of prejudice. We shall be unified as one, filled with love and understanding.

But within this need for peace lies an anger.  A, “Why can’t it be this way?”; a, “What does this mean for the future?” This anger is normal, and it is actually encouraged! This rage, this expletive, is your fuel. It is a hunger for justice, your passion and power. Use it to your advantage, but do not let it overpower you. Anger is strong, but your empathy must be stronger. We cannot tear the world down and rebuild it without caring for one another. We shall stand together in the face of adversity, hand in hand. We will make it through together. 

Even the darkest night will end, and the sun will rise.

Happy Anniversary, Hogwarts Legacy!

My HL journey started on May 5th, but I'm just happy this fandom is still around and thriving, and I am so glad to be a part of it! It took me 10 days to finish the game in my first run (before I dove in time and time again with new MCs and spent even more days and weeks and months in the game), and this is how my precious Nebbia looked in her original (shoddy PS4) form:

She's come quite a ways from that. Also, I wish I would have played on PC to begin with, but oh well, this way I had two HL experiences, and I am more than happy about it!

It certainly helped in keeping up my creativity and productivity over a freakishly long time. I've written 352,529 words in seven months, 270,038 on my AO3 alone, (which for me is quite a lot), I've learned to write things I have never written before (I went from innocent fanfiction writer to something I cannot talk with my family about), and all of it because of some pixels on my screen. It's pretty incredible.

And on top of that, I've met lovely people to share in my weird thoughts and delusions and overall excitement about this game and its characters. I've never been active on social media, I've always been a silent lurker, watching and consuming, but I learned that creating and sharing my work and engaging with other like-minded people is quite something, something I like to do and want to do more.

And I thank you, dear followers and anyone who stumbles upon this, for interacting with me in whatever way you choose. I see you, and I am happy you spend your time with my stuff.

I am also grateful to be a part of such a creative community. I've also never read this much in my life as I did the last nine months, ever since I stepped into this fandom. And it's not just the fanfics and oneshots and headcanons, it's the art works, the AI adventure (which bot am I gonna talk to today, hm?) we all embarked on (and bless whoever started using ElevenLabs to keep that voice kink flourishing!), the thousands of shared screenshots, all these different MCs, and all those other ways people contributed to this fandom - it was/is a joy to see you guys' different kinds of creative outlets!

hey anonymous; thank you for the kind words regarding my work -- keep supporting me!! i need it!! anyways, your question is actually something i think about often, and i used to browse the schizophrenia subreddit, but had to stop because i think it led me to some poisonous analysis of people; because: it seemed like i:d always start categorizing "types of people in schizophrenia communities," and out of these different types, the only one i thought got any 'good' were the type that just needed a support-network to reaffirm the need to be on medication -- so: good for them.

for all the other ones: it just seemed to be a place to affirm a poisonous narrative, or to grow a poisonous narrative; example: the person going on a diatribe about some [Crazy Delusion], and asking [the schizophrenia community] if the [Crazy Delusion] were real -- there:s this level of dissonance where it just reads like the person wants affirmation that they have crazy thoughts, instead of actually malignantly believing the [Crazy Delusion], because they have the self-awareness to field their thought onto the schizophrenia support forum.

mostly it felt like looking at myself, too; bad reminders of behaviors and circles that looped me into viewing myself really negatively, till the point where i am talking to a psychiatrist and saying all the right words that:d lead me to losing rights and earning distrust of basically any medical professional that i spoke honestly with. it were unhygienic, and that /is/ what schizophrenia is to me (and any other similar thing: OCD, autism, some personality disorder -- whatever clinical narrative you:d (impersonal) want to possibly pin to me): a tool of lucifer/logic to create an appropriate context to reframe myself within the server; the possibility of God and prophesy diminishes when the gaping oozy wounds where prophesy festers gets sutured shut with these clinical/logical/luciferic narratives -- it is the same lack of hygiene i refer to when i speak of creating an environment where the bacterial will may flourish, and why rules to adhere to a hygienic etiquette /must/ be followed for me: if i start saying words like "schizophrenia" it means i think words of "schizophrenia" and it means that social sutures are beginning to needle their way in-to me to claim wilderness where the bacterial will had been thriving; soon God is cleaned away and in its place is some malignancy (schizophrenia) that I have zero intention to treat or improve from.

Dunno if you'll see this but I can relate heavily with your vent post. Having no prospects stings like a bitch. Upon graduating high school I stayed back in my tiny hometown and got a job at a factory that I'd quit after six months and now I'm just kinda freeloading off my parents because literally no one is hiring and I have to watch my friends who'd gone off to college living it up in the big city and generally just having a sense of direction whilst I have no idea what I'll be doing a week from now. (for context i didn't go to college due to some family stuff and financial difficulties) The shame of my predicament is unbearable at times, i, too have cut off contact with a lot of people because i can feel resentment and other nasty feelings festering in me the longer this goes on. But I just wanna let u know that it's okay that you're a little lost, i know that it's cliché to say this but everyone's path truly IS different and new opportunities WILL arise because there's no way they won't. You're not loser or a failure or whatever else you might think you are, you're just a little stuck and lost which is not uncommon nor is it shameful despite what your brain might be telling you. My personal take on this whole aeon debate, as a non-shipper is that their relationship is just so unhealthy and I feel like his character deserves a little bit of peace in his life. Ada cannot give him that, and as much as I think she could be a great character - her character was born just from an idea of a James bond-esque sexy untrustworthy spy and....that's it. She hasn't been developed further because it would ruin the mystery.

I imagine Leon flourishing with an honest and capable partner in his life to support him. Maybe as he's estranged from his family (or whatever happened there) yknow if he's not on a mission during Christmas then he could go with her to visit her family, then the soft inner-leon could start peeking out. Or something.

I just don't know what there is to support aeon as a ship bar chemistry. I get the vibe some aeon stans thrive on toxicity. Ada is not nice. Sure she's got a soft spot for him.... But he ended up in a mental spiral because of her.

I'm nervous for separate ways. Capcom has really set up for him parting ways with Ada but I'm not sure I trust them to follow through.

So, there's a lot going on here in this ask.

I don't like looking at ships from the perspective of "What does this character deserve to have happen?" because that's not how reality works, and it's not how storytelling should work, either. There's nothing in the universe that states that if you put X amount of work in or you suffer for Y amount, you will/should get a certain specific outcome.

What Leon deserves? Is the consequences of his actions, whatever they might be.

OG Leon does deserve Ada, because he keeps making the same dumbass fucking mistakes that keep him attached to her. If he can't let her go -- if he can't allow himself to mature emotionally past age 21 in 1998 -- then he deserves the misery and discomfort that it causes him. His horrifying, manic mental breakdown at the end of RE6 when she gets shot is earned. He did that to himself. No one else did it to him -- no one forced him to keep sticking his hand in the fire. RE4make proved that Leon can still care about Ada without becoming obsessive to the point of a horrible downward spiral that culminates in him becoming a functional alcoholic. OG Leon refuses that reality, though, and he reaps what he sows.

Is that what's best for him as a person, in order for him to live his best life? HELL no. But those are two different things. Leon gets/got what he deserved, and what he deserved wasn't what's best.

Don't be nervous for Separate Ways. Leon's role in the story of RE4make is over. Leon and Ashley are done. Separate Ways will deal with Ada, Luis, Krauser, and Wesker. If Ada is still romance-coded towards Leon in Separate Ways, then that would actually be really fucking interesting, because what Remake will have actually done is switch their roles around. Now it'll be Ada's turn to get attached to Leon in a hugely unhealthy way, and she'll get what she deserves for it, same as he did in OG. (This was also kind of foreshadowed already a little bit, with Wesker saying "don't come crying to me if you get bit.")

Personally? I get the appeal of toxic/mutually destructive ships. There is something very cathartic about them, especially if you're a self-destructive person yourself or you've just been through a bad breakup or whatever the case may be. I don't ship Joseph/Kidman in TEW or Tseng/Aeris in FF7 because I want a happily ever after. I ship them because they can never be together, realistically -- it's a dream born from a wish that will never manifest in reality, and I find the pain and longing and the "if only" that comes from that -- from the state of being so close to a person but never actually ever being allowed to touch them -- to be very cathartic.

Aeon is a similar kind of ship in concept, except Aeon goes one step further, and Ada and Leon do actually touch each other, and it just makes everything so much fucking worse. And there is an appeal to that kind of thing. I get it. I do, really, I do. The only reason why I don't ship them is because I think it's written poorly and executed even worse and it fucks up Ada's entire character and screws her over in terms of her contributions to the overall plot of RE.

But the issue from the fandom perspective is that that's not how the vast majority of Aeon shippers actually view/treat them, and that's where my disconnect with the whole thing comes from, personally. I don't understand how someone looks at Leon and Ada and thinks of retirements for them that are happily ever afters, or has fucking family/children headcanons for them??? THAT'S ANTITHETICAL TO THE NATURE OF THE SHIP I seriously don't fucking understand Aeon fandom in the slightest, and that's why I say that it's very likely just a case of a bunch of people self-inserting onto Ada really fucking hard because they want to suck Leon's cock (which, I get it! I'd suck it, too, holy shit I'd suck that man dry).

Would Leon flourish with a supportive partner? Yes, absolutely. Is that what he deserves? Not necessarily.

I would argue that Remake Leon deserves that, which is why the romance with Ashley has already been set up. But OG Leon? He's on his fuckin own. He had so many opportunities over the years to grow the fuck up, and he never did. And that's on him.

Hi! We do indeed use an activity check system in ThreeClans. Our Carrd goes over this a little in the guidelines segment, but to elaborate and explain, we run our activity checks on a quarterly system and adapt them to each member depending on how many groups they are a part of within the roleplay. You are not expected to roleplay a certain amount per characters that you own, as ThreeClans often allows you to have quite a few characters should you desire to do so, and we understand sometimes you may not have the muse to roleplay them all at once.

Instead, we set up our standards so that each quarter takes place for the duration of a three month period. This splits the year into four quarters, starting with January to March, then April to June, next July to September, and finally October to December. If at any point you suspect you may be unavailable or less able to roleplay we have the ability for you to take a hiatus and effectively "check out" of the required activity asked of you for a quarter, or if you simply suspect you'll be less active than normal and not completing full threads, you can use "excuses" which allow you to do "update posts" in which you can fulfill activity with single posts giving insight to how your characters are doing without delving into the full time commitment that a thread may require.

During these quarters, the activity asked from you again depends on how many groups you are a part of. As a member of only one clan or group, you are only expected to complete three threads per the duration of three real life months. When you complete them during these three months does not matter. You could do them all within a single day or spread them out through the three months themselves! Whatever works for your pace and schedule is good for us. The number moves up by one thread when you are in two groups or clans: so you must then complete four threads when you are in two groups, and so on. Three groups, the most a normal member will be able to be a part of, requires five threads per a three month long quarter. The only heightened level of activity from this point is applied to Moderators and Community Coordinators, who are asked to complete six threads each as we are a part of four groups (for Community Coordinators) or all five groups (for Moderators).

Generally, we see very few people failing to complete their threads for each quarter's activity check. Oftentimes activity is secured by the time a single month has passed, and we're always sure to send reminders to those who may be coming up on deadlines without completed threads and offer them the usage of hiatuses or excuses should they need them! In ThreeClans, we employ activity checks as a way to ensure that our group is kept flourishing with active participants who enjoy engaging with the world we have created. Failing one activity check is never something that is detrimental to you, of course, and we're always here as a Mod team to listen if you're struggling to meet standards due to real life struggles, roleplay motivation, or other things.

If there are long term periods of silence from members who have gone completely dormant in character or out of character, we may begin to question whether or not their current participation in the group is something that they want to or are able to maintain, and multiple activity checks failed in a row (with little to no threads completed or attempted at all) will often signal to us that it might be best for someone to take leave from ThreeClans and reapply in the future when their life becomes less busy. We've often welcomed back familiar faces of past members who had to take a break from the group when they simply didn't have time for Warrior Cats roleplay in the past, and it's always super exciting to see those who've left us in the past come back and thrive again when they can!

Sometimes… Ignis is exasperated by you. Even if your behaviors are overall endearing to him. Namely, this is in regard to your tendency to stay up late and sleep in, as well as those moments where common sense escapes you. Even your clumsiness gives him cause for a bit of stress. He might scold you a bit but don’t take it badly; all he really wants is for you to be careful, which means you should be more mindful of your surroundings. The stare he gives you when something completely flies over your head or you pull something absolutely dumb is… well, quite funny, if you weren’t on the receiving end of it.

When the two of you have a quiet moment to yourselves, he enjoys having tea and snacks with you. Culinary expert that he is, he knows very well which flavor profiles work together. Ignis has amazing suggestions for desserts to pair with whatever tea you’ve selected for the day. If you two plan a little tea session in advance, he’ll be more than happy to bake said dessert (and while he brushes off your praise and acts humble, he secretly thrives off of your compliments about his cooking). These are definitely one of his favorite ways to decompress from the stressors of the day and just focus on you.

Classy as he is, he tends to opt for more traditional displays of romance and affection. Sometimes, this may be seen as cheesy to you or outsiders; but it’s a good thing you’re a sucker for a cheesy romance. Dates, no matter how simple, are done with a flourish. This might be him coming to you with flowers or a small gift before he brings you out to dinner or a stroll in a nice scenic area. Even more casual dates where you two stay in and he cooks dinner for the both of you include him getting the tablet and dining room set up to set the mood for a cozy, romantic date. Ignis is definitely the type to give you soft kisses to the back of your hand and whisper sweet compliments in your ear so only you can hear them.

Ignis quietly admires your care for your appearance and how you present yourself; even if you’re only dressing up and wearing makeup for yourself. And even when you’re not dressed to the nines with a full face of makeup, of course he still thinks you’re beautiful. He finds that he quite enjoys watching you do your skincare or do your makeup; if you’re comfortable with him watching here and there, that is. It’s hard for him to explain if you ask him why, but he really likes how focused you are when putting makeup on, and he’s quick to appreciate how much effort goes into looking good (and how effortless you often make it seem!). In terms of style, he likes how you don’t tend to fit in one box, and he looks forward to seeing what particular style or blend of styles you’ll be wearing that particular day.

He shows interest in your creative hobbies, though he often waits for you to show him what you’re working on instead of prying. I mean, friends, it was inevitable. I know you all thought that if you were just +++POSITIVE+++ enough, BJU would read and heed.

But BJU never listens. All of us out here know that. You all were just the latest.

FTR, however, here's their final statement:

Dear Positive BJU Grads & Friends, This is our last post. (At least for now.) We did what we could to shed light on the secret power politics of the BJU Board of Trustees aligned to remove Dr. Steve Pettit. We did what we could to expose the removing of board members who supported Pettit and his administration's appropriate change agenda from 2014 to 2023. We did what seemed right to expose the decisions and actions of the board in their effort to reverse course on several board-approved policy changes in alignment with the express wishes of the FBFI board and Dr. Bob Jones Ill, and to go back. We did make a positive difference with your help but now we believe that continuing will 1) NOT change the Board which is more unapologetically and unanimously separatist than it was two years ago, 2) not help BJU flourish under whatever new President the newly consolidated Board elects in the coming weeks or months, and 3) provide the Board, who exclusively owns accountability for any negative fallout from this strategic shift, an opportunity to blame the "apostate" alumni group on Facebook for whatever may come next. We want the new President, and the faculty, and staff, and students who choose to remain or join to succeed and thrive. We want the University to see better days, not worse. God will decide what falls out in the lap with the lots now cast. It is His University not any individual's, family's, or group's. We believe the newly consolidated board may have miscalculated the strength and potential of their so-called base strategically, but only time will tell. We believe Dr. Bob Ill and his long-standing loyalists may not care if the University declines or closes, but we cannot know their true aims and goals. We are proud to be the independent Alumni of BJU. We are proud of and thankful for you, the positive BJU grads & friends who dared to speak truth to power which had never been attempted en masse before. Together we have defended the simplicity and critical importance of the Bob Jones University Creed. Though we tried, we did not always get it right. And though we spent many hours in prayer, we may have occasionally fallen into the same divisive, unloving, high-minded, and mean-spirited pride we sought to speak out against. For that we ask for your forgiveness. We love you and we are praying for you. NEXT STEPS We are not shutting down the page. But we do not plan to post in the foreseeable future either.
