worst idea i’ve ever had but star wars au where instead of darth maul being all emo and killing everyone to get back at obi-wan he has an affair with obi-wan’s own commander. like he just sees commander cody walking around goes “hey i hate your general, you want to get married just to spite him?” and cody’s been fed up with kenobi’s bullshit for so long because jfc, no man can be that stupid that he immediately goes “why not” and what follows is a fuckton of shenanigans between them that ends with maul and cody catching actual feelings for each other while obi-wan is in the background, a little confused.
