Mary Skelter 2, a sequel/alternate continuity to Mary Skelter: Nightmares and also known as Kami Gokutou Mary Skelter 2 in Japan, was released in Japan 5 years ago today on July 12, 2018. I knew about the original game when the 2nd game was still in development.

Mark Skelter 2 - Will it ever going to be released on the Playstation 4  in the West?

A follow-up video on, "Idea Factory International 10th Anniversary @ Anime-Expo 2023", I was hoping in that presentation, IFI would announced Mary Skelter 2 for Playstation 4 in the West, but alas no mention whatsoever. In actually, the chance of Marky Skelter 2 being considered is very slim and the common theory is the "Purification Mode", where the players "purified" the maiden by "rubbing" them, and that's a concern. It was the same situation in Fire Emblem: Fates, Rich, a Market Personnel admit that Nintendo was concern about that. I give my thoughts on this theory and why I keep voicing for Mary Skelter 2 for Playstation 4 to be released in the West. Just a side note, IFI are well aware, but can't do anything about it until Playstation changed their ways.

Mary Skelter 2 (Steam, GoG) and Mary Skelter Finale are both on sale for 8 bucks a piece, and I cannot express to you enough how good a deal that is. Mary Skelter 2 includes a remake of the first game, meaning you get all three games for about 18 USD total (Though, if you absolutely want it, you can get the original release of the first game on Steam and GoG at a discount as well, do note it is missing its canon ending).

I cannot recommend these games enough; while I've yet to play the third game, and I'm roughly a quarter through the first after finishing 2, they're some of the best stories in recent memory and one of the single most effective tragedies I've seen in an RPG in general. I've never felt so motivated to get on with the next game in a series as i have just wanting to know what the hell else happens next. I can't really say much about the story without spoiling it beyond it just being, again, an incredibly heartfelt tale with one of the single most effective tragedies I've ever seen in video games, as well as an absolutely fantastic cast of memorable characters. Don't let it being a compile heart game (and therefore slightly more horny than most people are used to) detract from how well realized the narrative is. For less than 20 bucks total, it's an absolute steal. Get yourself some tragic yuri for the price of McDonald's.

Finally beat Mary Skelter 2 today with the True Ending after procrastinating for over 3 years. It hurt a lot. Tears were shed. Then I started Nightmares (the first game) and heard the random encounter theme of that game for the first time....;_; Hurts more now, so cruel.

I'm really liking Mary Skelter 2, the art's super pretty and vibrant and I like the catchy/goofy music and there's a ton of mechanics to learn, they just keep throwing shit at me I really hope that doesn't get more annoying as it goes along but right now it's cool to have so many mechanics to keep in mind. And it took like 25 minutes for somebody to get naked that's a whole new level of restraint for Idea Factory I was impressed

knowing some things about mary skelter 2 while playing ms1 adds to the experience. knowing lil mermaid is the mc's love interest in 2 but hearing about how red killed her in 1 made my heart sink. oh no. you know from the moment you see little mermaid in 2 that, in some capacity, she's a dead girl. otsuu's obsessive defense of her princess, how obviously she would lose it if anything happened to mermy. oh no. oh bo oh no oh nooo
