Mamjek: Explore the Junkyard [flashback]

Normally, you prefer to source your electronic parts from more ethical places (that is, buying them). However, that's gotten expensive, and that's why you're in this junkyard tonight.

As you carefully sift through the trash, you hear rustling from underneath you. You quickly leap back, just in time for a worm-like creature to burst from the junk. It isn't alone--there is a troll riding upon its back like it's a hoofbeast, sans saddle.

The worm comes to a stop and the troll hops off. They're wearing a gas mask, covering most of their features. Your hand reaches for your chakram, just in case this turns violent.

The other troll removes the mask. Underneath it is a grubby, grease-stained face of a rustblood with a single fang poking out of their mouth.

"Hey dollface, what brings you to my little slice of Alternia?"

Is this guy serious right now? Is he trying to flirt with you while you're digging through literal garbage?

"Aw, meowbeast caught your tongue? Don't worry, I can put mine to good use."

Alright, that's enough. You're not going to kill this guy, but you're going to shut him up. You close your eyes momentarily, and then open them, projecting the image of a large, hideous barkbeast from your eyes.

"Whoa, hey, what the--"

And while he's distracted, you run.

"Wait, come back!"
