The Bad Picks: Trump Staffs His Foreign Policy Apparatus with Extreme Zionist Lunatics, Warmongers.
It's a Zionist "dream team"! Shock !
Tumblr media
Previously:
Trump Appoints “The White Nikki Haley” as UN Ambassador (Obsessed with Jews, The Ukraine, All of It)
Report: Trump to Install Terrorist Leader Marco Rubio as Secretary of State
As predicted, Donald Trump is installing extremist Zionists in all of the key foreign policy positions in his upcoming administration.
He first announced Elise Stefanik as Ambassador to the UN. That fat bitch is completely insane, and has been doing daily Twitter updates on Israel for over 400 days. When Trump was running and then when he was elected, she said it was for the Jews, then when she was appointed, she said it was to fight antisemitism.
At time of writing it hasn’t been announced yet, but all media confirms Trump has chosen Marco Rubio as Secretary of State. Rubio, a closeted homosexual and male model, is a supporter of all wars, and in Trump’s first term he went to Colombia to attempt to pressure the US into backing a Colombian invasion of Venezuela. He supports wars with Russia and China, but of course has a special fixation on wars in the Middle East for the Jews.
In the last hours, Trump’s team has announced anti-Iran and anti-China extremist Mike Waltz as his National Security Advisor. Waltz is a military vet who has spent his entire life sucking Jew cock.
Tumblr media
He’s a wild man. Full on.
Tumblr media
All three of these picks are AIPAC picks, proving that the Jewish lobby is directly making these decisions for Trump’s team. Again, none of this is even remotely surprising, but we need to make sure we’ve got all these facts straight.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He has installed Lee Zeldin, a Zionist Jew, as the head of the EPA, which is possibly innocuous, but worth mentioning.
Further, he picked the Jew Stephen Miller as his deputy chief of staff.
The Jews are excited about these picks.
Tumblr media
Miller has obviously been around for a long time and is liked by many MAGA people, for various positions he has on immigration.
However, in 2021 he started “America First Legal,” which was supposed to get the J6ers off the hook, which never happened. Instead, the group ended up taking action to shut down freedom of speech on US college campuses.
Tumblr media
Real estate magnate and Zionist Jew Steve Witkoff has been made “special envoy to the Middle East” and Mike Huckabee, an “evangelical Christian” Jew-lover made ambassador to Israel.
Settlers rejoice!
Tumblr media
The Texas spy John Ratcliffe was picked for head of the CIA, which is possibly one of the less extreme picks. He actually stands out as more of a normal government bureaucrat than most of these picks, but the CIA usually has a more low-key top guy, maybe for obvious reasons.
Pete Hegseth, a handsome 44-year-old Fox News presenter and military vet, was picked to head the Department of Defense for some reason.
Tumblr media
He’s of course a Zionist extremist who supports all the other wars as well, and has claimed China is building an army to invade America (???), something very few public figures have actually said aloud, given that it is so nonsensical. If “personnel is policy,” then it appears the United States is going to war with Iran and may try to start wars on multiple fronts. This is a Zionist “dream team,” and most of these people are not even against the Ukraine war, which is the one war Trump has said he wants to stop. For the record, I think it’s pretty likely Trump actually will try to “freeze” the Ukraine war and stop the flow of money and weapons to that particular shithole. But on the other fronts, this is looking very dire.Frankly, I thought he might give one of these positions to a “mediating force” to at least give the appearance of some kind of impartiality; instead, he’s gone with all of the most extreme possible people and thus far, there is not one single moderate among them. But hey, at least he gave you Elon and Vivek and a new meme organization. And Bitcoin sure is doing good! Holy smokes!$90kSo, take the good with the bad. None of these Zionists should surprise anyone, and if we get some benefits to the economy, we should be thankful.Get your money and plan accordingly.

The Napoleonic Code
The Napoleonic Code, also known as the Civil Code of 1804, is one of Napoleon Bonaparte's most significant and enduring legacies. It is a comprehensive system of laws that aimed to reform and standardize the legal framework of France. Before the Napoleonic Code, France's legal system was a patchwork of regional laws, feudal customs, and royal edicts, which created inconsistency and confusion. The code had a profound impact on not only France but also many other countries, serving as a model for modern legal systems around the world.
Key Features of the Napoleonic Code:
Equality Before the Law:
The Napoleonic Code ensured legal equality for all male citizens, meaning that laws would apply equally to everyone, regardless of their birth, class, or wealth. This abolished the feudal privileges that had been enjoyed by the aristocracy under the old regime.
It established the principle that nobles, clergy, and commoners were all subject to the same laws.
Abolition of Feudalism:
The code abolished feudal obligations and privileges, including serfdom and manorial dues, ensuring that people were free from feudal bonds and that property rights were more clearly defined.
Civil Rights and Liberties:
The code affirmed individual rights, such as the right to own property, the freedom of contract, and the right to be free from arbitrary arrest and imprisonment.
It supported the idea of religious freedom, although it retained certain restrictions on freedom of the press and political dissent.
Property Rights:
The code placed a strong emphasis on the protection of private property. Property ownership was seen as a fundamental right, and the code established clear guidelines for acquiring, transferring, and inheriting property.
The inheritance laws introduced by the code were particularly significant: they established that property must be divided equally among all heirs (children) upon the death of a property owner, rather than allowing for primogeniture (where the eldest son inherits everything). This was intended to prevent the accumulation of wealth in the hands of a few families.
Secular Law:
The Napoleonic Code was secular, separating the legal system from the influence of the Catholic Church. It made civil marriage the only legally recognized form of marriage, and divorce was legalized, although with more restrictions than under earlier revolutionary laws.
Family Law and Patriarchy:
The code placed significant emphasis on the family, which Napoleon saw as the foundation of society. It gave fathers considerable authority over their children and wives.
Women were largely subordinate under the code. A wife was legally required to obey her husband, and her ability to manage property or engage in legal contracts was limited without her husband’s permission. Women also had fewer rights in divorce and child custody matters.
Codification and Clarity:
One of the Napoleonic Code’s most revolutionary aspects was its clarity and simplicity. Napoleon sought to replace the confusing and inconsistent legal systems of pre-revolutionary France with a single, coherent, and easily understandable legal framework.
The code is written in clear, accessible language, making it more understandable for the public, rather than being limited to legal professionals.
Merit-Based Society:
By ensuring equality before the law and abolishing hereditary privileges, the Napoleonic Code supported a merit-based society, where individuals could advance based on talent and achievement, rather than birth or status.
Influence of the Napoleonic Code:
The Napoleonic Code had a significant influence not only in France but also abroad. Napoleon implemented it in the territories he conquered, and its principles spread to parts of Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, and Spain. Over time, many other countries, including those in Latin America and parts of Africa and the Middle East, adopted or adapted aspects of the code into their own legal systems.
Global Legacy:
The Napoleonic Code is widely regarded as one of the most influential legal documents in the world. It served as the basis for civil law systems in many countries, particularly in continental Europe and Latin America.
Its emphasis on equality before the law, property rights, and a secular legal framework has shaped modern legal traditions in many countries. It is still the foundation of civil law in France and has been a model for legal codes around the world, particularly in countries with civil law systems, as opposed to common law systems (like the UK or the US).
The Napoleonic Code was a transformative legal document that codified the principles of the French Revolution—equality before the law, meritocracy, and secular governance—while also promoting a strong, centralized state and patriarchal family structure. Its impact extended far beyond Napoleon's reign, influencing modern legal systems across Europe and beyond, and it remains a foundational element of civil law to this day.

In the course of this book I have suggested that the struggle for our future is not between capitalism and communism, but rather between a social and ideological organization (be it Eastern or Western, Northern or Southern) orienting primarily to a partnership or dominator model of society. If we look at recent developments in Russia from this perspective, we see this borne out by a number of underlying dynamics. We see that the problems facing democracy in Russia are rooted not in communism but in a characteristic common to societies orienting closely to a dominator model: the fact that even before the Soviet "dictatorship of the proletariat," under tsarist and/or feudal regimes, Russians have only known authoritarian and hierarchic structures. Similarly, the communist apparatniks' all too successful sabotage of Gorbachev's attempts to steer a course toward more partnership can be seen in terms of the dominator system's maintenance mechanism of creating artificial scarcities. For this is one way elites maintain control, as illustrated during an earlier period of dominator regression in the United States, when Reaganomics, with its diversion of funds from social programs to armaments and its reduction of taxes for the rich, further widened the gap between those on top and those on the bottom - thereby bringing to the fore, as in the former Soviet Union, diversionary enmities between different ethnic, racial, and religious groups.
Moreover, despite the mass entry of women into the labor market and into lower and middle government levels, as I observed firsthand when I visited the Soviet Union in 1984, Russia is extremely male dominant and male centered, with a strong belief (backed up by traditions of wife-beating) that in the family women must defer to and serve men. And unfortunately this male-supremacist ideology did not change even during the Gorbachev years—when the Soviet outlawing of feminism as counter-revolutionary began to be somewhat relaxed—as dramatically illustrated by Soviet television's removal of the portion of Gorbachev's famous American interview in which he spoke of his partnership with Raisa.
Given the continuing persistence of such strong dominator gender stereotypes, it was predictable that as a substitute for the overarching enmity between the Soviet Union and the United States, violent enmities based on ethnic, racial, and religious differences should again flare up. For, as we have seen, the superior-inferior, in-group versus out group species model of "mankind" and (as in the legend of Eve) a “dangerous” and “inferior” female “other” is a key component in the construction of the enemy mentality so central to the maintenance of dominator systems.
It is also predictable that, particularly in those cultures and subcultures that are more rigidly male dominant—where "masculinity" continues to be defined primarily in terms of domination and conquest—violence will be especially severe during periods of great economic upheavals. Some of this violence will be justified on the basis of ethnic and racial differences. Most of it will be in the name of nationalism, as in Yugoslavia, Kashmir, and Sri Lanka. Some of it will be in the name of religion, as in many parts of the Islamic world. And occasionally it will still be based on an ideology of communist revolution, as in Peru, Guatemala, El Salvador, and most recently Mexico. But in the end, rather than bringing either political or economic democracy, the rebellion of the "angry young men" against the equally angry and repressive old men will generally produce no more than a changing of the guard—as tragically evidenced in many regions of the world where, instead of colonial armies, indigenous armies now maintain tyrannical and exploitive regimes. For the underlying commonality between the battling warlords of Somalia, the continuing bloodshed in the Middle East, the skinhead attacks against foreigners in Germany, and the macho gang wars of the United States is still a male socialization that equates real masculinity with violence and domination, playing itself out in a variety of different contexts.

Egyptian authorities have since 2020 carried out a campaign to silence female social media influencers, using a cybercrime law to detain them on vague charges such as violating “public morals” and “undermining family values”. Last week, TikTok celebrity Salma Elshimy became the latest in a growing list of women to fall foul of the authorities over social media posts.
Elshimy had just landed at Cairo International Airport when she was arrested on April 3 on charges of inciting “debauchery” and “violating family values” through her social media posts. The Egyptian model and influencer with an audience of 3.3 million TikTok followers was returning from a trip to Dubai, where she filed a residency application ahead of a planned move.
Her arrest was reported by a photographer from the United Arab Emirates, who informed the Egyptian news website Mada. According to Qatar-based Middle East Monitor, Egypt’s public prosecutor ordered that she be detained for four days on charges of “spreading immorality” and publishing videos and photographs that “contradict social morals and values”.
Lawyer Hany Sameh, a member of the Lawyers Syndicate’s committee on freedoms who has worked on similar cases in the past, described the accusations against Elshimy as “vague”. In an interview with Mada, he said they stemmed from “vestiges of regressive male chauvinism that is uncompromising against women”.
Such arrests are increasingly common in President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s Egypt, noted Amr Magdi, a senior researcher at Human Rights Watch (HRW), in a Twitter post last week. “Egyptian authorities arrested yet another female influencer for 'debauchery' just because she posts photos we see in everyday life and TVs,” he wrote, adding that arrests of women on “morality” charges “have skyrocketed” under al-Sisi.

@anghraine Oh wait- okay so I always knew in my head that, even if the choice only matters for RP purposes because the game itself never references the race/gender/origins of the player character in a way that impacts the plotlines, that you play mostly human characters, so Hyur if you ever played XIV. And that of the two clan choices, Midlander is the generic from just about anywhere but the taller Highlander models are used mostly for Hyurs that originated from Ala Mhigo, the city state that had a geographical and political history of resource poor (except salt) highland in the center of the main trade route with the major cornerstone of their culture being their religious devotion to their patron deity and the fighting monks who also were deeply entrenched in their internal royal politics - the other major native DPS job being the magic rapier wielding class that does mostly spell-casting with a little bit of melee and some healing support. And that an extremely important main story element is how Ala Mhigo was conquered by the neighboring empire twenty years ago so there’s a sizeable Ala Mhigan diaspora and resistance movements and you’re helping out the factions and the political complications involved in the Base Game through multiple expansions. So, in my head, yeah, Elizabeth is an Ala Mhigan probably Red Mage. Visually the architecture and clothing is has elements of the Caucasus and Near Middle East to Western Steppe.
But! Elizabeth. I was thinking to myself how the equivalent race to the Charr in FF XIV are our Hrothgar, as our version of the fully cat-faced large and burly player race (who are based on FFX’s Ronso) as opposed to the less beastly more generic cat-earred race that is the most popular player race by far. And okay, the Hrothgar only have playable male options as of right now and we won’t get female options for Hrothgar until 7.0, the next expansion. But! the Hrothgar are not Charr, lorewise. Hilariously NOT. In fact, remembering what their lore was, I realized, omg what if. Because, okay that extremely expansionist imperialist religion-banning empire that conquered and subjugated Ala Mhigo? The empire ruled over by what are a Human subset without any magic and instead tech (unlike all other races) have been conquering a lot of places, trying to emulate the historical imperialistic high tech empire of Allag (The Romans to Garlemald’s Third Reich/Imperial Russia). And before they conquered Ala Mhigo, the other region that got the worst of their crimes -including the vaporizing of their capital city- and the country to whom we get extended plotlines about their preconquest, occupation, rebellion and rebuilding - is Bojza. Aka the main homeland of the Hrothgar. Whose naming structure is Slavic inspired and architecture is Mesopotamian. Where the city of Bojza had as its claim to fame being the holdout that resisted conquest from that original ‘Rome’, the only place to defeat Allag thanks to their queen. The Hrothgars whose ancestral weapon and combat style of gunblades was stolen and bastardized by the Garleans. Hrothgars who are explicitly set up as a matriarchal race, Bojza ruled by a queen with a council of priestesses. In fact the two sub-clan options of Hrothgars are divided up whether their clan has a matriarch or if she was lost (and the last names are the names of said matriarch). But they’re not a human race and I know you’d think Charr if see them.

Tumblr media
background story ;
camilo was born to britta incanti and lorenzo montaner in barcelona, spain. his mother is an italian model and fashion designer who was miss italy in 1993, and runner up for miss universe in 1994, and his father is owner and heir of hotel and resort chains called montaner ( literally equivalent to hilton hotels ). needless to say, his family on both sides comes from a lot of money, and have pretty much bought into anything you can think of. gas companies, gastronomy business, electric, you name it, his family is somehow involved
camilo, being an only child, grew up with anything materialistic anyone could ever think of. all he had to do was point, and it was being handed to him without any type of questions. he was spoiled, practically born with a golden spoon in his mouth, in the public eye. his family was widely known in europe and also had business’ world wide, which meant he had a rather public life since he could remember
to anyone, his upbringing sounds like a wet dream, and in a way, it kind of was. i say ‘in a way’ because his life isn’t as picture perfect as everyone thinks it is. simply put, his parents were never really present. he grew up with the best help money could buy  –  nannies, butlers, personal chefs, maids, people who worked for his family and treated him like he was the last cup of water in the middle of the desert. he had it all, minus the people who were supposed to love him the most
they missed his birthdays, christmas, important holidays, things that any parent should be present for, they were never around. instead, he was always surrounded by people who were literally paid to care for him. he was never really held as a child, never hugged when he was sad or sick, and because of his rather cold upbringing, this made camilo an equally cold person
due to constantly being in the public eye, he became cynical and calculated. in his eyes, everything was a game. nothing was unattainable to him because of his hefty wallet and no one was genuinely worthy of his time. at least, this is what he grew up thinking
he grew up feeling an insane amount of pressure. despite his parents not being around, they always let him know that what the world thought of them, the idea people had of him, was everything. the way he looked and acted was all that mattered, and carrying this with him since he could remember was a lot to deal with
he quickly became obsessed with his physical appearance. what he wore, down from his shirt to his shoes, how his hair looked, how his skin appeared and his weight especially, became everything for him. camilo would rather die than go out wearing sweats or looking anything less than impeccable  –  he simply had to look his best or he wouldn’t go out at all
his earlier years consisted of traveling a lot. he lived in his mother’s hometown in the amalfi coast in italy for a few years, traveled back and forth to any country his heart desired, and would leave as soon as he grew bored with where he was staying at
by the time he’s fourteen, he decides to move to los angeles to start high school there, mostly so he could better his english, but also because his family had contacts there and he knew a few celebrities
this is how he meets his first ever boyfriend, dani, when he’s sixteen. truth be told, camilo wasn’t a fan of him at first. they were polar opposites and he considered dani to ‘not be at his level’. he doesn’t know how it happens, but he somehow makes his way into camilo’s cold ass heart, and soon enough, they begin to date. dani was someone camilo would have never considered, but he basically falls head over heels for him. he’s the first person who makes camilo feel less cynical, like he doesn’t have to be perfect or do everything so impeccably so. he makes him feel real, like he actually matters to someone and isnt just a display case for the world to judge. simply put, he makes him feel things he never thought he would feel before, makes him see things from a completely different perspective
unfortunately, this romance is short lived when dani disappears one day, with no warning. camilo tries not to let it get to him, but he’s so hurt by this move, he ends up going to a boarding school in san francisco and finishes high school there, heading back to his hometown, barcelona, two days after his graduation
at this point, his trust issues are at an all time high. he has a very difficult time letting people in and mostly maintains superficial relationships with everyone, without much depth, or any depth at all, really
he basically becomes even more obsessed with his physical appearance, especially when he gets signed to a modeling agency by the time he’s nineteen. to camilo, the way he looks becomes everything to him, up to the point where it becomes unhealthy
he’s modeled for a few brands in the past before, but when he actually gets signed to an agency is when he starts to feel the pressure. being around his peers, for the first time in his life, he doesn’t feel like he’s above them. in fact, he feels inferior to them. some of the names are so big, that the importance of his last name doesn’t mean anything to them. never wanting to be below anyone, he starts working extra hard to make sure he’s on their level, or better than they are
! tws for eating disorders, fainting, hospitals and body dysphoria for the next four bullets, read with caution or skip over this if you’re triggered ! his habits start off so small at first, that he genuinely doesn’t see it as a problem. over exercising is only the beginning, but soon enough, he starts cautiously watching, and counting, the calories of the stuff he eats. when this isn’t proven to be enough, he switches to a vegan diet, and it just escalates from that point on
to be honest, he was never overweight. in fact, doctors would tell him he had to gain some weight in the past, but despite this, he didn’t feel good enough. more so, he felt like he could be better. he became obsessed with any little flaw he would pick out of himself and would work endlessly to fix it, or make it less noticeable. one of his more genuine friends in the modeling industry flat out told him he had a problem, but camilo brushed it aside and kept ‘working’ on himself. by working on himself, i mean practically torturing himself with unhealthy diets and extreme exercise routines
the worst part is that he really didn’t think he had a problem. he struggled with an eating disorder and body dysphoria for over six years, until one day, six months after his twenty sixth birthday, he ends up passing out during a photo shoot. waking up in the hospital, he’s told he has pretty bad malnutrition linked to an eating disorder and is recommended to seek help. at this point, he weighed ninety seven pounds ( almost forty four kilograms )
it’s at this moment that he realizes that he’s not okay. despite not being quite ready to get the help he needs, he ends up checking himself into an inpatient clinic in madrid that specializes in eating disorders and mental health. he’s there for three months and it’s basically hell for him, the hardest thing he’s ever had to do, but... he does get better. by a lot. ends up gaining the weight he needs and see’s a nutritionist to work out a ( healthy ) vegan diet for him. after leaving said clinic, he goes back to los angeles to continue working on his modeling career and meet his sponsors. he’s there until december, and afterwards, makes the decision to move to long island in a pent house his parents own, wanting to be far away from anyone he’s ever known and start fresh
Tumblr media
headcanons
truth be told, camilo still does struggle a lot with his weight and appearance. he knows better at this point, but it’s still something he deals with on a daily basis. his habits aren’t unhealthy anymore, but he’s a very picky eater. he’s literally the type of person to separate food on his plate and eat it in different sections, one at a time. he will probably never go back to harming himself the way he did for so long, but he still carries that part of his life with him. he has a healthy diet and exercise routine now, but god knows it took him a while to get there
he can be a real pain in the ass when it comes to keeping things clean. i wouldn’t say he’s ocd, but he can be a borderline neat freak. things have to be tidy otherwise he literally can’t sleep
he enjoys drinking alcohol from time to time, but that’s about it. he hates weed because of the munchies and used to chain smoke cigarettes, but thankfully, that’s a habit he’s broken out of. he’s tried coke and dabbled with it back in spain when he was going through everything he was going through because he liked how it takes away your hunger, but he doesn’t really do anything now, claims he’s ‘high off life’
even though he makes it seem like he doesn’t want anyone or is too good for anyone, deep down inside, camilo really wants to be loved. he wants a boyfriend who will turn into his husband, he wants a kid and a house, and he wants an actual future with someone, despite showing anyone who has ever been interested in him romantically the complete opposite ( minus dani rip )
he has a cat he named draco meowfoy, clever twist on his favorite movie and book character, draco malfoy. his cat is one year old and a ragdoll cat, basically the sweetest cat ever, acts more like a dog than anything
he’s a model and an influencer, future heir to the business’ his family owns. he has thirty five million followers on instagram, and an equivalent amount on tiktok and other social media platforms. he has a ton of money besides that, but he makes a very good amount of money on sponsorships ( his favorite ones so far have been brands like adidas and colgate )
when you really get to know him ( which is rare ), he’s goofy. nothing like that ‘i’m better than you’ persona he puts on for the whole world to see. he has an idiot side to him that likes corny jokes and puns, enjoys knitted sweaters and dad jokes
he plays piano, has been playing since he was four years old, but this is a rather hidden talent of his. he’s a huge example of ‘what you see isn’t what you get’ because people tend to meet him and make up their minds on who he is, but the truth is that he has a ton of layers, a ton of hidden parts of himself that very few people, if not no one, really know of
camilo is also a huge example of ‘money doesn’t buy happiness’ because he has anything materialistic any person could ever dream of having, but deep down inside, he’s not genuinely happy. he definitely has depression, but doesn’t take medication for it
he wants to live a relaxed life here, far away from the chaos that was barcelona and the shit show that was los angeles. he wants a place where people don’t really know who he is, somewhere he doesn’t feel pressure to be ‘perfect’
when he does let you in, he’s loyal. he doesn’t believe in cheating on people and will defend you until the end if he considers you a true person and genuinely likes you. if he doesn’t, it’s the complete opposite. he can be a very fake person for the sake of being ‘diplomatic’, but will literally trash talk you if he isn’t a fan of you. he can say everything to your face as well, but prefers to subtweet about you if you’re not someone he’s fond of
he was offered a spot on a reality tv show in spain with other models, living in a mansion and getting into shenanigans, but he turned it down. the show was similar to ‘hype house’ and he feels like he dodged a bullet with that one
he is a huge fan of enrique iglesias, has been to six of his concerts and has personally met him three times. loves him to death, literally man crush monday all day every day
he has the tiniest accent when speaking english. it’s barely noticeable and will become more prominent if he’s really angry, but for the most part, his english is really, really good. he’s fluent in spanish, english and italian, and even though he speaks all three languages perfectly, his preferred language is spanish, and literal thought process is in spanish as well
i’m gonna end this here because this is long as hell, but below is his birthchart for some extra tea!

Women in Tech: Leading the Charge in the Arab World
In recent years, the tech industry has become increasingly diverse, with women playing pivotal roles in driving innovation and shaping the digital landscape. This trend is particularly evident in the Arab world, where women are breaking barriers and making significant strides in the tech sector. Despite cultural and societal challenges, many women in the Arab world are defying stereotypes and emerging as leaders in technology, driving economic growth, and promoting gender equality.
The Rise of Women in Tech in the Arab World:
The Arab world, comprising 22 countries spread across the Middle East and North Africa, has traditionally been characterized by patriarchal societies where women’s participation in the workforce, especially in male-dominated fields like technology, has been limited. However, in recent years, there has been a noticeable shift as more women in the region pursue careers in technology.
One of the driving factors behind this shift is the increasing emphasis on education and skill development. Governments and organizations in the Arab world have been investing heavily in education, particularly in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields, providing women with greater opportunities to pursue careers in technology. Initiatives such as scholarships, mentorship programs, and coding boot camps have played a crucial role in encouraging women to enter the tech industry.
Furthermore, the proliferation of tech startups and entrepreneurial ventures in the Arab world has created a conducive environment for women to thrive. Many women are leveraging their skills and expertise to launch their startups, disrupting traditional industries and driving innovation in areas such as e-commerce, fintech, and healthcare.
Challenges Faced by Women in Tech:
Despite the progress made, women in the Arab world still face numerous challenges in the tech industry. Deep-rooted cultural norms and societal expectations often discourage women from pursuing careers in technology, leading to gender disparity in the workforce. Additionally, the lack of female role models and mentors in the tech sector can make it difficult for women to envision themselves succeeding in this field.
Moreover, workplace discrimination and bias remain significant barriers for women in tech. Women often encounter stereotypes and prejudice, leading to unequal opportunities for career advancement and leadership roles. Addressing these systemic issues requires a concerted effort from governments, organizations, and society as a whole to promote gender diversity and inclusivity in the tech industry.
Breaking Barriers and Shaping the Future:
Despite the challenges, many women in the Arab world are breaking barriers and making significant contributions to the tech industry. From pioneering groundbreaking innovations to leading multinational corporations, Arab women are reshaping the future of technology in the region and beyond.
One such example is Hala Fadel, a Lebanese entrepreneur, and investor who co-founded Leap Ventures, a leading venture capital firm that invests in early-stage startups across the Middle East and North Africa. Fadel’s work has not only helped support and empower aspiring entrepreneurs but has also highlighted the potential of women to excel in the tech ecosystem.
Another trailblazer is Rana el Kaliouby, an Egyptian computer scientist, and entrepreneur known for her work in emotional artificial intelligence (AI). As the co-founder and CEO of Affectiva, a pioneer in emotion recognition technology, el Kaliouby has been instrumental in advancing the field of AI and revolutionizing human-computer interaction.
These are just a few examples of the many women who are leading the charge in the Arab world’s tech industry. Their success stories serve as inspiration for aspiring female technologists and underscore the importance of diversity and inclusion in driving innovation and progress.
Empowering the Next Generation:
To sustain and accelerate the momentum of women in tech, it is essential to empower the next generation of female leaders and innovators. This involves providing them with access to quality education, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help them succeed in the tech industry.
Educational institutions and organizations can play a pivotal role in promoting STEM education among girls from a young age, instilling in them the confidence and skills needed to pursue careers in technology. Mentorship programs and internships can also provide invaluable support and guidance to aspiring female technologists, helping them navigate the challenges of the tech industry and advance in their careers.
Furthermore, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion within organizations is essential for creating a supportive and equitable work environment where women can thrive. This includes implementing policies and practices that promote gender diversity, providing equal opportunities for career advancement, and combating bias and discrimination in the workplace.
Conclusion:
Women in the Arab world are playing an increasingly important role in the tech industry, driving innovation, and shaping the digital future of the region. Despite facing numerous challenges, women are breaking barriers, defying stereotypes, and making significant strides in technology. By empowering the next generation of female leaders and promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech sector, we can build a more equitable and prosperous future for all.

CIVIL WAR - Spectacle and Responsibility
THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS, GRAPHIC WAR TIME PHOTOGRAPHY AND THEMES/IMAGES OF TERRIBLE SUFFERING AND SUICIDE - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Civil War is a film by Alex Gardiner, writer/director of Ex Machina 28 Days Later and Annihilation. It covers a group of war photographers travelling from New York to Washington D.C. during a new American civil war. Aiming to get an interview with the Authoritarian president on his third term, the group takes a road trip across a divided nation.
This has, in part, been hyped as more of an action-heavy film. It isn't. This is very much a love letter to war photographers, and correspondents, with a serious message on the divisions occurring across the West.
Watching it, I'm left with a certain impression, which can be summed up as a question. What does it mean to be a war reporter?
BELIEVE IT
Tumblr media
"Dave Scherman and I took off from Dachau to go look for the war front which seemed a mirage of cleanliness and humanity. The sight of the blue and white striped tatters shrouding the bestial death of the hundreds of starved and maimed men and women had left us gulping for air and for violence, and if Munich, the birthplace of this horror was falling we’d like to help." - Lee Miller
Lee Miller was a photographer for a women's magazine in the 1930s and 1940s. She originally started as a model for Vogue magazine, but was able to get herself a position as a photographer as the Second World War progressed and Miller's male colleagues were shipped off to the the armed services. The magazine worked closely with the government to put out information, and content, that could help women during the war - and Miller was eventually drafted as one of four war official correspondents in the US army during the Normandy invasion during 1944. Miller's photographs focused on many aspects of the war, such as women who were German collaborators, but some of her most impactful were from the liberation of camps such as Buchenwald and Dachau. Images that reportedly haunted her for the rest of her life.
By documenting the atrocities in newspapers, and dispatches, ordinary citizens across the world were able to discover atrocities and pressure their representatives to ensure such acts could never occur again. The subsequent Nuremberg Trials, and creation of the Geneva Conventions, were a direct result of the atrocities committed during the war.
In Civil War, Lee Smith (Kirsten Dunst) is the grizzled war photographer, having covered conflicts across Africa and the Middle East. She wants to use her photography as a way to inform the world of conflicts, and help prevent them, but has ultimately failed in her own home, the United States of America. When we meet her in Civil War, she is a distant and terse figure. A disillusioned figure whose dreams of preventing conflict have died, now haunted by the images of her foreign assignments transplanted into her own country as the protections brought in at the end of the second world war eroded away.
What's in an image?
Tumblr media
“I cried when I saw her running... If I don’t help her — if something happened and she died — I think I’d kill myself after that.” - Huỳnh Công Út The Terror of War is a photograph by Huỳnh Công Út in 1972, during the Vietnam War. During the war, a South Vietnamese napalm attack hit Trảng Bàng village. Many villagers were forced to flee, with Phan Thị Kim Phúc having to strip to avoid burning alive in Napalm jelly. The fleeing children were caught on camera by Út, against the backdrop of their destroyed home and the indifference of the soldiers around them. Út had to fight Associated Press to get the photo published, given the full frontal nudity, but when it was pushed through it became a defining image for a generation. The Vietnam war was one of the first televised conflict, with war photographers, and film crews, providing an important on-the-ground perspective that was often lacking from more tightly controlled press outfits in both World Wars. It was also widely unpopular with the US public, who were being drafted to fight in another overseas war, which they had little stake in. Many of the popular protest movements across the US, in universities, in music and popular culture were based around the Vietnam War - with images such as The Terror of War acting as a lightning rod to ignite popular public opposition to the war inside the US and beyond. After taking his photo, Út was able to get Kim Phúc, and others, to the safety of a hospital. When doctors refused to treat her due to the severity of her burns, Út flashed his press pass at them and threatened to name their hospital as the hospital that let her die. Kim Phúc was treated, and has remained lifelong friends with Út ever since - leading international efforts to provide medical and psychological aid to children from warzones. She has an affectionate nickname for Út - Uncle.
In Civil War, Lee Smith is matched by Sammy (Stephen McKinley Henderson), a veteran New York Times reporter and her mentor - joining their trip on his own path but providing her with a warmer, emotional support. Sammy is the heart of the old-school of journalism. He is the kind of journalist that would get the story, and do what he could to save those in need. He's older, wiser, and has a sense of responsibility towards Lee - seeing how her job, and attitude, has made her miserable and has caused her to repress her accumulated trauma.
Post-War Postmodernism
Tumblr media
"Death and grief knock on the door of almost every house in Gaza... I thought this picture may reach all decision makers and the world and I hoped it would be a reason to stop the killing, strikes and destruction Gaza has seen." - Mohammed Jad Salem
The conflict in Gaza has been raging since last October, with no true end in sight. Palestinian photojournalists, such as Mohammed Jad Salem, have been on the receiving end of the violence. Not just in the images that have been captured, but physically targeted by the IDF. Under international law, journalists are protected by Article 79 of the Geneva Convention of 1949, established after the Second World War and updated with this Article in a 1977 revision: 1. Journalists engaged in dangerous professional missions in areas of armed conflict shall be considered as civilians within the meaning of Article 50, paragraph 1  2. They shall be protected as such under the Conventions and this Protocol, provided that they take no action adversely affecting their status as civilians, and without prejudice to the right of war correspondents accredited to the armed forces to the status provided for in Article 4 A (4) of the Third Convention.
The Gazan war has claimed the lives of 105 journalists and support workers. Some photographs you will have seen are taken by now deceased photojournalists. With the exception of journalists embedded into IDF units, Israel does not let foreign reporters into Gaza. It does not let surviving reporters out either, unless in a body bag.
As many in South America already know, some countries are more equal than others when it comes to international law. The gamification of international law. Treating conventions as problems to be solved, puzzles to be reduced to components, to justify atrocities. This is the state of many of the world's countries have come to in the 21st century - a Post-War Postmodernism for the information age. A jaded, cynical, approach to the world which reflects the initial state of many of the Civil War characters.
Old World Blues
Tumblr media
In Civil War, there is a parallel drawn between characters who represent the old world of photojournalism and the new. Sammy is representative of the older school of journalism. The attitude of using images to help change the world for the better. He has previously acted as mentor for Lee but, as we meet them, Lee's attitude has shifted to a more jaded mindset. Lee's work hasn't been able to stop the actions destroying the nation. "Once you start asking yourself those questions, you can’t stop. So we don’t ask. We record so other people ask. Want to be a journalist, that’s the job." - Lee Jessie Cullen is young and impressionable, but has a specific attitude towards her work - seeing it almost in a reductive means to get the perfect photo. Cullen makes a fumbling admission to Lee about two of her heroes having the same name, Lee Miller and Lee Smith, which is quickly brushed aside by Smith. Cullen is green. She's new, very hungry, and she slowly gains more experience during their road trip. She has a strong technical knowledge of her film kit, impressing even Lee. She is engrossed in the technical side of getting the perfect shot instead of thinking that there's a bigger picture to her work, like using photography to change the world. Something that Lee, underneath the cynicism, is hiding. "Every time I survived a war-zone, I thought I was sending a warning home, “Don’t do this.” But here we are." - Lee This is reflected in the downtime interactions with Lee, where Cullen acts to remind Lee of the joys in life, and is a counterpoint to Lee's hidden idealistic nature. Cullen has no pretention on changing the world through her work, she just needs the best shot. Cullen is growing up in a world turned upside down. To her, risking literally everything to be the best at her craft is the dream. As Lee influences Lee in perfecting the craft, Cullen is influencing Lee on the effective meaningless of her ideals. This comes to a head in the middle, to end, of the film where an encounter with soldiers disposing of corpses leads to the death of Sammy. This is the dying of the old, empathetic, journalism of old that Lee has aspired to. The soldiers are effectively white nationalists who proceed to quiz the group on where they're from - killing the foreign reporters and dumping them into the mass grave filled with civilians. There is a scene earlier in the film where Cullen asks if Lee will take a photo if Cullen dies. Lee blows it off with a "what do you think?". As Lee looks at a photo she's taken of Sammy's corpse, she decides to delete what is a newspaper-worthy shot. Rejecting the photo, she holds her ideals closer than before, the ideals that Sammy strived for. The humanity behind the image. As the remaining crew move towards the White House, and the defeat of the President to the Western Forces, Cullen becomes ever more brazen in her attempts to get more photos. She has gained a gung-ho confidence, having to be pulled back behind cover by soldiers to avoid her getting shot. Lee struggles in this section of the film. She clearly sees the inhumanity of what is going on. No longer the confident, cool, operator she is fully embracing her suppressed trauma - struggling under the pressure. As the soldiers sweep the White House, Cullen makes a bold attempt at a shot, only to be pushed away be Lee who takes several bullets to the chest. As the soldiers race to capture the President, Cullen takes a look back at Lee and, instead of helping her, turns back to her task and joins the soldiers with the newly captured President. As the Western Forces soldiers shoot the President, there is no empathy present. Just Cullen getting her perfect shots. Her baptism of fire ending in the death of her old mentors and their ideals.
Cullen isn't burdened by the idea that a photograph can change the world. To her that's just an ideal from a quaint bygone age. An age where a photograph can be used as a positive force for social good no longer exists for her. Instead it's just a trophy. There's little difference between her and the soldier - they're both shooting their prize. It's just that one is holding a gun, and one is holding a camera. "There is no version of this that is a mistake. I know, because I’m it. Joel and Sammy are it." - Lee "It’s my choice." - Jessie
The Cost of Capturing an Image
Tumblr media
Civil War isn't a film about a hyper-realistic conflict. Alex Garland has explicitly set that out himself in interviews. Any critique on "California and Texas wouldn't align" is a waste of time arguing against - it's not the focus of Garland's attention. Instead Civil War asks questions of what we expect from photojournalism, and the corrosive polarisation of politics that has lead to the destruction of post-war protections, and attitudes.
What is photojournalism for? Is it to warn of the dangers of conflict, to help leaders prevent them in future and to better humanity? The Lee Miller and Huỳnh Công Út approach to inform, educate and entertain humanity?
Is it just to reach the peak of technical perfection - to get the best shot for the bragging rights, and the glory? The Paparazzi, pay-per-click, Public Relations approach? A means to promote your brand, and display the trophy of "my team is winning"?
What is the cost of each image? In financial, and human, terms - when you choose the action of recording instead of intervening?
In an age of blink-and-miss-it news articles, where graphic images of dead children on beaches and bombed hospitals are plastered front-and-centre, is the image being taken to inform and educate, or a reductive means to draw the most attention in a landscape of click-bait articles that require newspapers to have the most attention grabbing stories to even survive. In a world of us vs them, can you still connect to each other with a universal common humanity? How is the post-war consensus being dismantled? Modern conflicts, such as in Gaza, have seen a significant number of journalists killed by the IDF. Reporters, attempting to bring to light brutality against those desperately in need, are murdered and claimed to be part of the "other team". Meanwhile the real perpetrator is allowed to continue running the country in the Knesset, despite deliberately allowing the very organisation which conducted the October 7th attacks money and resources to stymie the cause of Palestinian independence. The atrocities documented by Lee Miller and other brave reporters in the 1940s were the crucible which forged the Geneva Conventions, and helped secure the protection of journalists in future wars across the globe. It is concerning that in Israel, in Gaza, that those that fought to secure those protections are letting clear violations slide. The United States continues to supply the Israelis with weapons and billions of US taxpayers dollars, despite claiming to abhor violence. Actions speak louder than words. Now, as then, students are now standing up for the rights of those affected by US backed wars in foreign lands. Against the hypocrisy of their elders who claim to uphold a post-war system of international relations, but who are actively undermining that freedom with their actions.
If we allow our democratic institutions to ignore the values, and ideals, which glue society and our international relations together then we too will end up like Cullen. Willing participants in a red team blue team game that only exists because we give it legitimacy.
The message of Civil War therefore is clear: If we cannot relate to each other through a common humanity and come together to resolve our issues, then we are doomed to see the world through a conflict of false binaries that are designed to divide us.

🔴 biggest victims of Zionism are the American people!
Lissu Arabs.. Not Muslims. Not the Palestinians!!
Americans are paying the biggest cost in this massacre!
Tomorrow the long party is over.
Mercury residents will count the victims!
A hundred thousand here. Two hundred thousand there.
One million in Africa... Five million in Asia.
Ten in the Middle East!
Heavy bill. It's okay. They paid it off.
Or bury it better!
They can take a break now!
Hey... Why is the party still in the United States?
- The payment process is not over yet.
They still have at least 6 generations to meet!
No society has ever been subjected to domestication, hybridization, and Zionist tampering as did American society!!
The biggest experimental field. First experimental mice.
The most successful model... It's the American people!
If you want to know what to do, it works for the world.
Look at the reality of the American people!
We want to be like them!
- wonderful Develop, attend and present!!
Idiot. It's homelessness. dissolution... Lost.
Gasping behind money and sex.. Drugs...
58 murders a day.
40% illegitimate birth!
Lost family. Lesbian... Rape...
A superficial society heavily indebted.
His humanity overwhelms the animal's instincts!
Money. Possession... Sex.. Money. Money. Money!
Do you know that magnanimity in America is unacceptable?!
If you make way for a woman to sit in your place, it's abuse and discrimination. You could be arrested!
You know, women and men are equal there!
Why do you have to treat them differently?
This is a derogation. She can fend for herself!!
Actually, you don't know if she's a woman or something!!
Maybe she chose to be a man. Or giraffe!!
Maybe it's a tree. You can't tell what it is!
She can choose what she wants. This is guaranteed by law!
Guys can do that too!
American society is no longer made up of females and males!!
It's a hundred thousand species and species!
Do you know how much fumbling and missing they are?
Are they born with this mutation?
No. No. At all!
Until recently, they were a natural community.
Embrace Christianity.. He's got habits and constants, but at least he had something!!
Today it's all lost!!
This is a massacre of no more horror than any obsession!!
Listen well.
The Zionist lobby does not settle in a healthy environment!
They have to destroy it. Distortion. Contaminate it. They're not staying!
It is unfortunate for Americans and the West in general that their environment was the main incubator of regulation!
Lucky we were just the target!
The blood massacre can be overtaken.
Massacre values is a stressful predicament!!
Americans need to know their true enemy and survive the rest of their humanity!!
On the world, get to know!

Education, the Khajuraho way
INCLUSIVE EDUCATION THE KHAJURAHO WAY
We recently had a visual treat at the Khajuraho temples. Our guide decoded the mesmerising carvings on the outer wall of the Vishnu Temple. The bottom most row signified the Earth and the ones above it water, fire, space and air; thus documenting that the five elements are the basis of everything in the material world.
Tumblr media
The journey of humans is from nothing to nothing. When we start our journey as a speck in the mother’s womb we start from nothing and when we complete our journey we become ash, which is nothing.
One of the sculptures on the outer wall signified how the ovum was fertilised in the womb. The symbolic representation of the sperm, the ovaries and fallopian tubes left me astounded. In an era where there were no X-rays, ultra sounds etc; the internal anatomy of the reproductive system was carved and documented for posterity. Today we talk of Inclusive Education, where teaching content is in pictures or models for visual learners and special children who learn only by seeing. What could be a better way of explaining than etching it in stone!
Some sculptures illustrated the importance of Yoga to maintain physical health, because unless one is physically fit, one cannot procreate nor indulge in spiritual practices to attain Nirvana.
The union of the male and female is the way given by God for the continuity of creation. What left me awestruck was the sublimity portrayed in the expressions of those indulging for the purpose of marital fulfilment and in contrast, the animalistic expressions on the faces of those indulging for lust. Having gone through the process of procreation and having experienced life in all its facets, there is a realisation of the futility of it all and the understanding that all this leads to nothing! It is important that man experiences Dharma, Arth and Kama before he attains Moksha!
The outer walls had sculptures depicting the various facets of life. There were scenes of Gurukul, games, cooking, marriage processions etc. One sculpture showed a man’s body with the face of a demon devouring another man while being attacked in the back by a third man showing that if a man behaves like a demon, he ends up devouring others and if he fights his demonic tendencies, he overcomes his bestiality and comes out victorious. The figure at the topmost level showed a man sitting in lotus pose, meditating and experiencing bliss (nothingness)!
Inside the Garbha greha was an idol of Lord Vishnu facing East. The angle of inclination of the windows in the North and South ensured that the Idol was visible with the same amount of natural light, from sunrise to sunset. The extensive and intelligent use of Vastu Shilpa Sashtra was fantastic.
Contrary to hear-say, the Khajuraho temples are not centred on illustrating erotica. They are an authentic documentation of how advanced our society was in the 9-10th centuries. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, definitely worth seeing!
What do you say?
