So random Remus hc. He can conjure stuff like his brother, but his creations always come with a catch (gruesome, gory, disturbing, it comes to life, etc) and when he wants to make something to be not those things, he makes it by hand. And over time he's gotten good at a ton of stuff.

Virgil is used to showing up to find his boyfriend covered in paint, dye, clay, saw dust, and sometimes ashes. And Remus lets him hang out unless what he's making is a gift for his spider. Virgil knows to expect something if Remus frantically kicks him out. He has a whole shelf of Remus-made figurines

PLEASE he's so upset. something happens — maybe some guards try to get him back and a scuffle ensues and you're caught in a crossfire, and while he's so concerned with making sure you're okay, he doesn't realize someone is coming up behind him with a muzzle, and they manage to get it on him before he can fight them off.

and you...have no idea how to get the thing off LOL like with the first muzzle on his big dragon head, it was easier !! screws were bigger !! but this is so much more complicated akfjakfbja and you probably spend like. hours, sitting behind him trying to figure out how to undo the latch or pull it from his mouth, and it doesn't help when he's furiously sticking his fingers through the cage and YANKING. LIKE WE'RE GETTING NOWHERE SIR.

he has to deal with it for a few days. and he's PISSED. BEYOND grumpy. BEYOND grouchy. he spends every night trying to get comfortable, constantly bumping you in the back of the head with the metal. he wants to nuzzle into your hair and give you little bites under your jaw, even on your cheeks, wants to kiss you when you eat little biscuits in the morning and have dollops of honey clinging to your bottom lip.

IT DRIVES HIM CRAZY !!! HE'S SO PISSED !!!! he's tearing at this thing all the time, wedging his fingers between the strap and his head trying to make it loose, probably hurting himself in the process. one night you sit with him in the bathtub and he just WHINES. like full on whine coming from his throat, you've never heard it sound so desperate.

but. oh man. oh me oh my. when he finally does get the damn thing off...you two probably don't leave your little room at the inn for a few days LOL and you come out with a few more bruises than usual, little teeth marks everywhere.

omg. can you imagine like. feeling so bad for him that he can't indulge in his biggest source of affection, and so you try to get him off just to relieve some of the tension and he's just like. leaned back on his elbows, watching you with his little lidded eyes, thrusting into your hand with the fucking muzzle on !!!! brain short-circuiting. bye. probably got tears in his eyes, because it's scratching one itch but not the other aldnskdbaoajsj. a lot of posts right now seem to rely on the idea that what happened in Aeor is common knowledge throughout Exandria, but based on what we know I don't necessarily think that's the case? back in Bassuras, an 18 history check (which would be a very high roll for an "average" person) only got Imogen the names of Age of Arcanum cities and the vaguest of context. in the most recent Cooldown, Matt talked about how most people have a similarly broad understanding of the calamity, and didn't know the reason the gods were warring in the first place.

There are of course specificalists and experts, like Imahara Joe or the professor they met in Yios or many of the high-level clergy of Vasselheim, that likely already know what happened in some amount of detail. And of course, many people's opinions on the gods would not change one way or another upon learning the details. But I think there are a lot more people who don't know the gods decimated an entire city than people realize.

Since my frame for the new DD print I bought at the con arrived, I took a little break and rearranged and set everything up! Now everything I got at the con - the DD minifigs, @wonderlandmind4 's AMAZING TRT display, the fucking hilarious Matt Murdock saint candle that makes the area look like an ACTUAL shrine, my Red Thread pic with Charlie, and my autographed DD print - are all in place at last!

I call this Ode to Hyperfixation. 😂

Age is taller than Wild because the shrine of resurrection kinda stunted his growth? If that makes sense? Age however never went through the shrine of resurrection and so his growth was never stunted. But he’s still not that tall I mean his parents are very short lol.

You all know how I like to make botw Link a nerd when it comes to potions and botany but I have now decided that it would also be neat if he was also more interested in mechanics and physics than he seems, like even before the calamity. 

I mean, just imagine, this kid who since the age of four has been naturally great at fighting, the latest in a long line of royal knights, his path only being reinforced when he’s discovered to be the reincarnation of the hero, his duty to the crown being reinforced in his head for years and years, and maybe at first he thinks that he and Zelda would get along due to their similar interests. But she immediately hates him for the sword on his back. 

So every time he escorts her to the royal tech lab, he desperately wants to participate and tinker but he’s just a guard, and all he can do is listen. He loves it when she rambles about what she’s doing and he finds it all fascinating but it’s also been fused to his being that he’s just a soldier meant to gladly die for her and his thoughts don’t really matter. 

Then, when he comes back from the dead, in a room full of mysterious ancient tech, the first thing he’s given is the sheikah slate. And the whole theme of the game is curiosity and discovery and exploration and why should that be limited to just the world? He should be so excited to get the runes and learn how to use them and be baffled by how they defy the laws of physics. He takes pictures and figures out puzzles and has a blast working through problems with the tools he’s given. (also the implied building mechanic in totk... you cannot tell me that he’s not super hyped about making his own car) 

He would think that the champions dlc would be totally worth it when he’s given the master cycle zero, he even gives it the new name of Vah Epona. He powers it with his near infinite supply of apples as if it were a living horse and balances zooming around with teleporting to shrines because that’s just as exciting. 

But in the end he’s still supposed to be the hero, so he can’t stay to talk about tech with Robbie and Purah, he’s happy with waiting for those lectures until Zelda is freed, he has a feeling she’d be interested in it too.
